2024.05.14 12:57 nowherian_ Lunchbox recommendations

Maybe a foolish and verbose question but does anyone have a making-lunch routine that works for you? I’m on my fourth lunchbox for a variety of reasons: crushed sandwiches, bruised fruit. I have the banana carrier— talking about berries, which despite arriving intact make quite the mess by lunch. Thermoses for fruit also don’t work for us. Idk if there’s oxidation going or what, but after a few hours the fruit or guacamole taste different. So I’m curently putting them in a ziplock then in a thermos. I realize I can cut the sandwiches into minis, and that’s what will happen if I can’t do better, but it seems a little silly for a child over like 7yo. And is time consuming at 5:30am. With peanut butter verboten, I make a lot of avocado sandwiches that turn brown and come home uneaten. (They must be made the morning.).
We don’t eat meat beyond an occasional chicken cutlet, and sending leftovers requires re-homing the thermos food in order to microwave and put back. It also involves all vegetables (which were no problem at home) coming back uneaten. My son is naturally pretty thin and, and in the middle of a growth spurt so it’s more physically apparent that he’s not eating properly. And he takes medication that suppresses his appetite.
The lunchbox should also have space for 1 of those square flat ice packs.

I’m on my second week of 2.5 and the appetite suppression is strong. Yesterday I had no desire to eat. I forced myself to get in a protein shake, yogurt, banana, and some other items, but still only got in 800 calories for the day. I was tired all day and I know this is not enough food to keep me fueled all day. Any advice for snacks/small meals to eat throughout the day? Thanks!

Leading Starch Manufacturer in India - Bluecraft Agro

Starch Manufacturer
Modified starch is used in the production of food products such as bread, cakes, pasta and sauces. Scientists have developed these foods to be low in fat but high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.
One of the most popular types of modified starches is modified corn starch. This type of modified starch is produced by treating corn with enzymes so that it becomes more digestible by humans. It also makes it easier to dissolve in water so that it can be used as a thickener for soups and sauces. It can also be used as an insoluble fibre supplement in food products such as bread and cereals because it helps prevent constipation by increasing your stool bulk without adding calories or carbohydrates to your diet.
starch manufacturer in india
Modified starches are produced from corn or wheat starch through chemical modification of the starch molecule. This process produces several different types of modified starch, including:
Alkaline-treated starches: Alkaline-treated starches are prepared by treating native corn or wheat starch with an alkali solution (such as sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide) before hydrolysis and neutralisation. These products have increased resistance to retrogradation (starch crystallisation), making them particularly useful in frozen foods.

How to Find & Select The Right Modifier Starch Manufacturer In India?

When you’re looking for a modified starch supplier, it’s important to know what to look for. You want to find someone who can offer you quality products, but more importantly, you want to find a company that will be able to provide you with exactly what you need. There are many aspects of the process that should be considered when searching for a modified starch supplier.

2024.05.14 10:49 tagthekidd88 AITAH for just expecting too much on Mother's Day and telling my husband I was disappointed?

So the day before Mother's Day, my husband (M34) tells me (F35) we are going to do a day trip with our toddler (age 4) to local city and I am so excited but I realize I am also so behind in house chores due to my stressful job and lack of consistent help from my husband.
So I tell him thank you but no trip and that we need to stay home and clean. He says he needs to leave that morning which I already know means he is going to go get flowers. So I offer to make breakfast because I woke up in a great mood.
He comes home with flowers in okay condition, some are wilted and gives me a sweater that he says I asked him to buy me for Mother's Day which I do love the sweater.
So I make pancakes for the family, pancakes with bananas, peanut butter drizzle and whipped cream and I don't have any due to dieting.
My husband asks me what the plans are today and I said I would love for us to get some things done around the house, he has had the ladder out for a couple days so I asked him to take down the Christmas decorations and pick up and also put ladder away and watch our toddler because I would be upstairs with the power tools dismantling our shelves to add in some different shelving and organizing the closet.
All the while I am talking he is working on a 3d print for his friends birthday in a few days.
I go upstairs and 30 minutes in, my toddler is climbing on me and I wait for my husband to collect him and... nothing
So I figure maybe he sent him because ladder plus toddler is not the best combo so I put the power tool away and just organize clothes and he never comes back up to get him, so I call him and he goes "oh yeah just send him down" and I ask if he can just come and get him and he does.
So two hours pass and I go downstairs to check on them and ask about lunch for them and they are watching TV and nothing is done, no dishes from this morning cleaned, no Xmas decorations taken down and I make my toddler a snack and go back upstairs to calm down before calling my husband and asked him why he hasn't cleaned. He said because he thought we stayed home so I could clean and not him. And alI I am doing is working on a room, we don't even use (It's a walk in closet in our bedroom)
I reminded him I said we and asked him to do several things this morning which he said "Oh, I thought that was something you asked me to do a couple weeks ago"
At this point I am just disappointed with the day and over it.
He does do the dishes, takes down the Xmas decorations and cleaned up and now we have to go see my family for dinner which I do not want to because they are very blunt and will want to know why I am such a sad state.
Luckily the toddler falls asleep in the car, so I have the great idea after we find out he is asleep to just give gifts since we are already hour late for dinner and leave and pick up food for the toddler after.
So I drop off the gifts, we leave to go another place to order food and I asked my husband if he can go in and get food and he says no and I ask him he wants anything and he says "No just go just go " I told him I rather not because it's very rude for him to rush me to leave and he says he was only doing that because he had to sneeze....okay....so I said "Just go home please, we can make something there"
So now he is pissy and accuses me of using him as a taxi driver and I just go off...
"This is supposed to be Mother's Day, the one day you treat me special and loved and show me you appreciate me. You got me some wilted flowers and a sweater. Thank you but it's Day, not two gifts Mother stuff"
Now he is pissed and saying I am ungrateful and he shouldn't have gotten me shit and I am the problem and I don't do shit for him. All day he watched our son and cleaned. He also said he didn't know how to make me feel special.
He normally does not curse at me so I said this not you talking. This your dad talking to your mother. (Not my best moment and I will admit it)
Welp that got him all riled up and we didn't talk the rest of the night or next day.
When I finally said I was still upset about yesterday, he goes "Of course, you are." and walks away.
When we finally do talk, he says that he was offended I would rather stay home then do his idea of a day trip to local city and I said the flowers were wilted and he got me a sweater and he cleaned after I told him too. He also said he felt ignored and like I didn't wanna hang out with him because I was organizing the closet. He said he felt unloved.
So am I the asshole?
Quick Q&A
Married for 12 years and together for 15 years
We have had issues with all holidays but even more since our son was born so couple years ago I gave him a list of my likes, links to things to do for your wife for birthday, and things you can do for free to make your spouse happy (he makes six figures but I think gifts can be acts of service as well) but he still says he doesn't know how
We are currently in couples therapy but he seems to try to manipulate the sessions?
Example, he wanted to go on a trip to buy video games stuff and we had already gone out of town the day before to buy video games stuff so I said Our grass at both houses need to be mowed, I think that needs our attention and if he isn't something he can do the he needs to hire help to which he replied That why can't I help him and I don't do anything to help him ever but to the therapist he goes oh I just didn't wanna do the lawn because it had rain the day before and the grass was wet and it was early. I asked him why he wasn't able to tell me that in the moment or revisit for the whole week and half after because I didn't know that and he was still able to mow later that day but only one house. He said he didn't know why he didn't tell me and it was dumb to argue about the lawn but I said the lawn is just a symptom of the greater issue which is lack of communication on both of our parts
Fathers Day and Birthday I used to go all out but I realized I wasn't getting the same energy so I stopped 1st Father Day I asked him what he wanted to do and he said spend the day together I got him and our son matching shirts, classic car pint glasses, socks with our son's face on them, a photo book of them of the photos during the year of them I had taken and I made this favorite foods all day 2nd Father's Day I asked him what he wanted to do and he was spend the day together but he had to work so when he got home from work, I had his favorite pizza, favorite pop, matching shirts with our son, pizza cutter and pizza pan because he had mentioned we didn't have one and photo album of pictures from the last year of him and our son
When I had another disappointing Mothers Day ( I had asked to have 3 hours alone and sent him a link to some earrings and I got no time alone and no earrings but he did get me beautiful flowers and chocolate covered strawberries. We went to the lunch with my family and I asked him to only pay for us and my mom and he ended up dropping like $275 on my whole family for brunch very nice but we had conversations about how he was able to do that but get me no gifts) I think his heart is the right place because he is a good guy
3rd Father's Day I got him a card, beer and a some jerky and he said he didn't feel loved because it wasn't as nice all the other Father's Days he had in the past and he doesn't know how to make sure I have a nice Mother's Day and I asked him he could use the list I gave him or just mimic what I do and customize it to fit his style. He said he would try and that led us to this Mother's Day.

2024.05.14 10:38 AbkrAnsv How do calories change?

Just looking up the calories in different types of eggs and they all vary. It doesn't make sense to me because how do the calories increase/decrease depending on how you make the egg. Is there and actual explanation anyone can provide?
Obviously making an omelette and adding butteoils and cheese ect will obviously increase the calorie count but how do the calories vary in a boiled egg and a poached egg.
If the calories change in eggs do the calories in any other food also change? Even in the tracking apps I use, the number of calories in each type of egg also vary.
Is the info online wrong and innacurate or is there an explanation to this. Would appreciate an explanation :)

2024.05.14 10:34 ExternalFollowing I watched all 22 demos of OpenAI’s new GPT-4o. Here are the key takeaways we all should know.

GPT-4o was announced a few hours ago by OpenAI, and although the announcement livestream is great, the real gold nuggets are in the 22 demo videos they posted on their channel.
I watched all of them, and here are the key takeaways and use cases we all should know. 👍🏻

A. The Ultimate Learning Partner

What is it? Give GPT-4o a view of the math problem you’re working on, or the objects you want to learn the language translation of, and it can teach you like no other tool can.
Why should you care? Imagine when you can hook up GPT-4o to something like the Meta Rayban glasses: then you can always have it teach you about whatever you are looking at. That can be a math problem, an object you want translated, a painting you want the history of, or a product that you want get the reviews of online. This single feature alone has incredibly many use-cases!
🔗 Video 7, Video 8

B. The Perfect Teams Meeting Assistant

What is it? Having an AI assistant during Teams meetings, whom you can talk to the same way you talk to your colleagues.
Why should you care? Their demo didn’t expound on the possibilities yet, but some of them can be…
  • having the AI summarise the minutes and next steps from the meeting
  • having the AI look up info in your company data and documentation pages (e.g. “what’s the sales from this month last year?”)
  • having the AI work on data analysis problems with you (e.g. “create a chart showing sales over the past 5 years and report on trends”)
🔗 Video 5

C. Prepare for Interviews like Never Before

What is it? Have GPT-4o act like the company you’re interviewing for.
Why should you care? What’s changed is that the AI can now “see” you. So instead of just giving feedback on what you say, it can also give feedback on how you say it. Layer this on top of an AI avatar and maybe you can simulate the interview itself in the future?
🔗 Video 11

D. Your Personal Language Translator, wherever you go

What is it? Ask ChatGPT to translate between languages, and then speak normally.
Why should you care? Because of how conversational GPT-4o has become, the AI now helps not just with translating the words, but also the intonation of what you’re intending to say. Now pair this with GPT-enabled earphones in a few years, and you pretty much can understand any language (AirPods x ChatGPT, anyone?)
🔗 Video 3

E. Share Screen with your AI Coding Assistant

What is it? Share screen with your AI partner, and have them guide you through your work.
Why should you care? Now this is definitely something that will happen pretty soon. Being able to “share screen” to your AI assistant can help not just with coding, but even with other non-programmer tasks such as work in excel, powerpoint, etc.
🔗 Video 20

F. A future where AIs interact with each other

What is it? Two GPT-4o’s interacting with each other, that sounds indistinguishable from two people talking. (They even sang a song together!)
Why should you care? Well there’s a couple of use cases:
  • can you imagine AI influencers talking to each other live on Tiktok? Layer this conversation with AI avatars and this will be a step beyond the artificial influencers you have today (e.g. the next level of lilmiquela maybe?)
  • can this be how “walled” AIs can work together in the future? example: Meta’s AI would only have access to facebook’s data, while Google’s AI would only have access to google’s - will the two AIs be able interact in a similar fashion to the demo, albeit behind-the-scenes?
🔗 Video 2

G. AI Caretaking?

What is it? Asking GPT-4o to "train” your pets
Why should you care? Given GPT-4o’s access to vision, can you now have AI personal trainers for your pets? Imagine being able to have it connect to a smart dog-treat dispenser, and have the AI use that to teach your dog new tricks!
🔗 Video 12

H. Brainstorm with two GPTs

What is it? The demo shows how you can talk to two GPT-4o’s at once
Why should you care? The demo video is centered around harmonizing singing for some reason, but I think the real use case is being able to brainstorm with two specific AI personalities at once:
  • one’s a Devil’s Advocate, the other’s the Angel’s advocate?
  • one provides the Pros (the Optimist), the other gives the Cons (the Pessimist)?
  • maybe Disney can even give a future experience where you can talk to Joy and Sadness from the movie Inside Out? - that would be interesting!
🔗 Video 10

I. Accessibility for the Blind

What is it? Have GPT-4o look at your surroundings and describe it for you
Why should you care? Imagine sending it the visual feed from something like the Meta Rayban glasses, and your AI assistant can literally describe what you’re seeing, and help you navigate your surroundings like never before (e.g. “is what I’m holding a jar of peanut butter, or a jar of vegemite?”). This will definitely be a game-changer for how the visually impaired lives their daily lives.

🔗 Video 13

If this has been in any way useful, I hope you can check out RoboNuggets where I originally shared this and other AI-related practical knowledge! (The links to the video demos are also there). My goal is not "AI daily news", as there's already too many of those, but instead share useful knowledge for everyone to take full advantage of the new AI normal. Cheers! 🥚

2024.05.14 10:07 peacockblue21 Low carb snacks ideas that also do not have unhealthy fats

To preface this, I am not allowed to eat unhealthy fats, simple carbohydrates and any kind of refined or baked food. I use very light mustard oil for cooking in food. I also don't eat rice or wheat roti. I eat millets (jowar, bajra, raggi, etc). Absolutely no butter. Negligible sugar and low sodium salt in moderation.
This diet restriction is due to a recent diagnosis of fatty liver (it's in very early stages but I have gone on extreme dietary restriction for the past 3 months nonetheless).
For the past 3 months I have been only eating a fixed diet. Oats in the morning, 1 roti and sabji, 1 cup of moong daal in lunch, a bunch of veggies, lots and lots of fruits (no banana though), soya chunks and tofu, paneer (in strict moderation), some nuts and almonds as evening snacks or maybe a moong chilla or 1 roti and sabji as dinner. I try to limit myself to 1200 calories (I am short).
I was wondering if there were any snack suggestions that wouldn't be problematic and also help me to introduce variety in my monotonous diet.
I am vegetarian at the moment but I have been thinking to start eating fish.

2024.05.14 07:52 Clarkelthekat DGG I'm officially 9 years clean off heroin.

9 years ago I went to a faith based rehab as an atheist to "fake it until I make it" because it was cheap.
Ended up being a cult that was run by previous patients. Meaning no one ever left. They kept our identification so anyone from out of state couldn't leave.
Long story short they used us as free labor for local contractors. A sheriff was directing traffic while we were doing road work.
I ran over to him. In one huge breathe I got as much Information about the awful bed bug ridden revolving door forced labor cult and facilities we were forced to live in before the senior(snitch) team leader made it to us. That our food was expired years ago but frozen and thawed the day before we would be served it.
Yogurts expired before 9/11.
He told me be calm and go back. I thought he wasnt going to help. That he was part of it somehow. I was there for 6 months at that point with very controlled and little contact with family.
The next morning at 4 am I woke up to a loudspeaker and dogs barking. We walked out of our room(one room slept 15 people shoulder to shoulder) and all of the "staff" was on their stomachs. We were lead to ambulances and taken to the hospital.
That sheriff still calls me everyday to make sure I made it through another day clean.
When I first called my family they didn't believe me. The sheriff had to go on a webcam with my mom to convince them to let me come home.
This was my fault for being an addict and conditioning them to not believe me. I understood and made promises to immediately go into a secular rehab when I got home.
I did. I have been clean ever since. I celebrate today with my wife, my son and my newborn.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mom's death 6 years ago. She got to see me celebrate 3 years clean before she died. It's a bittersweet month. The last thing she ever said to me was that she could trust me again.
I'm thinking about writing in detail the full account of that 6 months I spent there.
Does DGG think it's worth the time writing a book about? There's hundreds of these "rehabs"(cults) around the country. Maybe thousands.

2024.05.14 07:31 perservere4ever A coworker is obsessed with my dog, what do I do?

TL;DR A coworker is obsessed with my dog, am I being a jerk?
Okay, it sounds hilarious even typing the above, but I really need some perspective on if I am being too sensitive.
It all started lovely - I got a new job that is dog friendly. I have a lab retriver cross, she is my best friend. She loves people and I am so lucky to be able to bring her to the office with me.
All of my coworkers love her. I had to leave town for a few weeks last summer and asked if anyone could watch her. One coworker, we'll call him Brian, agreed. Previously I had caught Brian letting my dog and another lick peanut butter off his arm. I thought it was strange but clearly he's a guy who loves feeding dogs. My dog absolutely adores him. At first it was really cute but it got uncomfortable for me after he dog-sat as he suddenly was blatantly giving her treats and stuff right in front of me. I was pregnant at the time and he was teaching to jump up for food which is such a nasty habit that I had to retrain her not to do (she is 5, we were past that years ago). Someone told me he was secretly giving her treats at his desk. She became so much of a mooch plus the vet said she needed to lose weight that I had to tell the entire workplace not to feed her anything (no one else was, just Brian but I didnt want to make him feel bad).
Fast forward - I've had my baby. He's 3 months now. Brian and a couple other coworkers came to visit. I knew my dog was going to be ecstatic so I let her meet them in the yard to get the zoomies out outside. Baby was on the floor on the playmat when Brian came in and he started playing with Daisy right beside the baby. I picked bebe up because obviously my dog is having a blast and is clueless to where her limbs are... and I guess Brian is too. For the next 1.5 hours he was playing tug of war with her with one of the baby toys (which his buddy pointed out while I was talking to someone else and I heard him say all toys are Daisy toys). At one point somehow Daisy was on the baby playmat playing tug of war. She's also shedding right now because its spring and I warned them in advance because clothes get covered in fur. He scruffed up hair and got it all over the house. During the visit he said things like "no time is enough time with Daisy" and "Daisy deserves all the attention".
I've gotten a weird feeling forever about Brian's obsession with my dog, but I always told myelf that Daisy loves it so just let it be. But when he rough-housed with her right next to an infant, it really bothered me. I single-parent for 3 weeks while my partner is away at work so I was glad to have visitors but I had to clean the house and playmat after they left. I didnt tell him to stop at any point because part of me thinks that I am the problem. Am I being insane here?!?

2024.05.14 07:19 EJC28 Buccaneers 2024 Draft Analysis Compilation

Round 1, Pick 26 - Graham Barton, C, Duke:
NFL: The Buccaneers fortify the offensive line with an experienced player who offers position flexibility. His elite presence on the interior should help elevate the run game and keep Baker Mayfield upright.
CBS Sports: A. This is a great pick. They have major issues at center and a question at left guard and he can play both. I love this pick. Barton will move inside from tackle, but he can play there in a pinch too.
ESPN: The Bucs got their top pick of an interior offensive lineman in Barton, who can immediately step in to fill the void left by center Ryan Jensen's retirement. While all but four of Barton's offensive snaps over the last three seasons have come at left tackle -- where he allowed just one sack in 2023 and two in 2022 -- he played 446 snaps at center as a freshman, which is his most natural fit and what caught the Bucs' eye. He plays with a great base, a good anchor and a "nasty temperament" that the Bucs' front office covets.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Likes his coffee hot and water cold which is actually reasonable.
Round 2, Pick 57 - Chris Braswell, DE, Alabama:
NFL: It's not often that a player with two college starts lands inside the top 60 picks, but Braswell did emerge last season as a jack of all trades for the Crimson Tide. At the very least, he could be a terrific special-teamer, but the Bucs likely hope to develop Braswell's pass-rush arsenal and squeeze even more out of his terrific athletic profile.
CBS Sports: A+. Had early RD2 grade on this outside rusher. Length, methodical pass-rush moves, deceptive power. Very productive generating pressure at Alabama. Sets a sturdy edge. A need in the post Shaq Barrett era.
ESPN: While the Bucs did sign Randy Gregory in free agency, he'll likely wind up being more of a rotational player opposite second-year edge YaYa Diaby. What they've needed is a replacement for Shaquil Barrett, who departed for the Miami Dolphins in free agency. Braswell's three forced fumbles in 2023 were tied for the most in the SEC, while his 42 pressures were the third most in the SEC. His eight sacks were tied for the fifth most in the SEC after having 2.5 sacks from 2020 to 2022. He also had 53 coverage snaps in 2023, which Todd Bowles does ask of his edge rushers. Braswell played 41 games with Crimson Tide but only made two starts, both of which came last season.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: He only likes the yellow part of the gummy worm.
Round 3, Pick 89 - Tykee Smith, S, Georgia:
NFL: Smith has a Mike Edwards-like projection, so it's easy to see why the Bucs took Smith here, in the same range they drafted Edwards in 2019. Although Smith is undersized and not an elite athlete, he has the nose for the ball and enough special-teams value to be a contributor in Year 1.
CBS Sports: B-. Slot defender / safety hybrid closer to slot CB size but doesn’t have those quicks. Surprisingly powerful hitter at his size and plays with a lot of conviction when tracking the football. Super-smart in coverage. Reads QB’s in a flash which helps him play faster than his timed speed.
ESPN: The Bucs see Smith as a nickel, and he played 80% of snaps in the slot with Bowles keeping a close watch on the UGA program, where his son, Troy, plays. They started undrafted free agent rookie Christian Izien last year and signed Tavierre Thomas in free agency, but their secondary as a whole needs more takeaways, which is where Smith comes in. His four interceptions in 2023 were tied for the third most in the SEC. He was also one of three FBS players with four or more interceptions and two or more sacks in 2023 alongside Michigan's Mike Sainristil and UNLV's Cameron Oliver.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Ribs. This man loves ribs. Cannot get enough ribs!
Round 3, Pick 92 - Jalen McMillan, WR, Washington:
NFL: A smooth-moving slot or outside receiver, McMillan returned from injury to help the Huskies make it all the way to the national title game. He has big mitts, good hands and more juice than he's sometimes given credit for. This is a really nice weapon to add to the Bucs' WR room.
CBS Sports: B+. Crafty, complete wideout with a trademark trait. Runs quality routes. Adequate separation. Not a burner. Not slow. Tracks it with good concentrations. Not a huge YAC type nor someone who thrives when leaping for the football in traffic. Robert Woods type with a bit more juice.
ESPN: The Bucs declined No. 3 wide receiver Russell Gage's option this year, and he was released. Mike Evans will also be 31 and Chris Godwin enters the third and final year of his contract, worth $20 million per year. McMillan can line up inside or outside but 33 of his 45 receptions came out of the slot in 2023, and he caught six passes out of the backfield. He's also a master of the post route. His six touchdown catches on post routes since 2022 are tied for the most in the FBS, while his 253 receiving yards on post route concepts since 2022 are the 10th most in the FBS.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Still willing to try and get the band back together.
Round 4, Pick 125 - Bucky Irving, RB, Oregon:
NFL: Bucky to the Bucs keeps the run on Ducks going. He's not terribly fast but can get up to max speed quickly and might end up as a decent complement to Rachaad White, even if they do similar things well.
CBS Sports: A. Bad testing figures - - despite reasonable speed - - but one of the most elusive, hard-to-corral RBs over the last few drafts. Smaller stature. Decent contact balance too. Weapon in the receiving game, and of course, out in space. Fun addition.
ESPN: The Bucs have had the league's worst rushing attack over the last two seasons (82.9 yards per game) and wanted to bolster competition. Irving is 5-9 and 192 pounds and ran a 4.55 40-yard dash at the NFL combine -- 14th among 20 running backs. While his testing was not great, the tape shows production. He topped 1,000 rushing yards in each of his two seasons at Oregon, including 1,180 with 11 touchdowns in 2023. He broke or evaded an FBS-high 144 tackles since 2022, and he had 896 rushing yards between the tackles in 2023, averaging 7.1 yards per rush. His 56 receptions last season led all FBS running backs.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: He once ate an 8 layer peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Round 6, Pick 220 - Elijah Klein, OG, UTEP:
NFL: With 55 college starts and good length, Klein has a chance to make it in Tampa. He's stiff and might be an inside-only blocker, however.
CBS Sports: C. Smooth operator at guard. Quality run-blocking abilities. Opens the gate too soon in pass pro and not ultra experienced there. Not many true sets in college.
ESPN: The Bucs didn't re-sign Matt Feiler or Aaron Stinnie, who both started at left guard last season. Along with Cody Mauch, they finished with a combined 70.2% run blocking win rate among guards -- 16th in the league last year. None of them finished in the top 50 in pass block win rate either. The Bucs did sign free agent Sua Opeta from the Philadelphia Eagles, and Klein will compete with those two. Klein allowed 1.3% pressures at UTEP and in 45 games, he allowed four sacks with a 1.6% blown run block rate. In 2023, he allowed one sack all season.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Always wondered how Raymans hands worked if he doesn’t have arms.
Round 7, Pick 246 - Devin Culp, TE, Washington:
NFL: Culp shocked a few people when he ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash, but his 230-pound frame figures to limit his role quite a bit. Even so, Culp improved each college season and has some unrealized potential as an H-back.
CBS Sports: B+. Smaller, speedster H-back TE type. Was very underutilized at Washington but flashed when given the opportunity. Made some impressive snags in traffic. Not much YAC-wise but can run away from second-level defenders if given space.
ESPN: The Bucs' 502 combined yards from tight ends last year was third worst, and they needed to bolster competition at the position. At 6-3 and 231 pounds, Culp ran a 4.47s 40-yard dash at the scouting combine, which was the fastest among tight ends this year. But he'll need to improve as an in-line blocker, which is where his size is a concern. He's also had some drops with six (8.8% drop rate) in 28 games.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Has soft hands… both ON and OFF the field.

2024.05.14 07:12 ExistingWash1732 Need help to gain weight/muscle mass.

Hi, 24F 5'1 and currently 82lbs. I have done some research because I'm trying to gain weight. I am mostly focusing on trying to get my protein intake. What went from 40g before to now at least reaching to 100g. But I haven't seen any change, probably like one pound gain but that's w/in 3 months, and it's feeling disappointed. I genuinely like food, food is delicious. But I can't eat much, and don't really have a great relationship with food texture I guess. When I chew to long, it makes me gag, but I continue to eat because I know I need to eat. I am lactose intolerant so I do try to avoid dairy products and find alternatives. Like chobani sets well with me, and I have tried protein powder, tried whey protein but it made me gag so I moved to isopure which I am able to handle. I have begun eating chicken, every morning just 2 drum sticks and that really help me a lot cause it was quick and easy to go for the morning. And of course the peanut butter and jelly sandwices help, but the chewing is kind of difficult. But I am still struggling to reach the 100g of protein. Are there other affordable items I can make easily and or buy to help me eat more. I know it's mostly trial and error but I don't have any recipes to make food. Also any ready to go meals? I don't really have access to a kitchen(stove) so it's mostly microwave food items. I have also increased my water intake, from literally sips of water to now 20-24oz a day. I'm also trying to gain so I can meet the requirements for the army, any advice would be greatly appreciated :D THANK YOU!
