She complained before stumbling because she had her eyes on the map not on the road, her visor hit the ground, she quickly composed herself to look at what made her fall and at that moment her oil froze, because of someone legs, leaning against the wall was a vipedic creature, with nearly nothing beyond a pair of pants. She was slammed against a wall and immobilized again, this time Z would nail two metal barrels, one in her left arm and the other in her right arm.
"Okay, let's get this over with-" she not finished her words due a brick hit her, she turned around, T and D followed her gaze.

Hi everyone - hope I am not breaking rules with this post, but I was wondering if I could get some advice. I've been playing FS2019 for a bit now after picking it up on Steam. I did a few maps as "trial maps" and just played around to understand controls and basics.
I'm in my first "real" attempt at a farm and I am having a blast, but had a question about something:
I've really been getting into forestry, but I am having a hard time figuring out the best way to actually transport the logs. So currently, I am using a Ponsse Buffalo and a chainsaw and my route goes something like this:
What do you guys recommend? I've tried some loaders and even tried a few mods that have bigger "offroad" trucks that have claws, but it seems so much slower than just doing it 1 tree at a time manually with the Ponsse Buffalo.

I'm in my first "real" attempt at a farm and I am having a blast, but had a question about something:
I've really been getting into forestry, but I am having a hard time figuring out the best way to actually transport the logs. So currently, I am using a Ponsse Buffalo and a chainsaw and my route goes something like this:
- Chop down the tree with the chainsaw and trim all the fluff/branches.
- Pull up to it with the Ponsse
- Use the claw to grab the full tree
- Pull the full size tree to the back of the loading bin and enage the straps.
- Release the tree and then re-grip the tree with the Ponsse claw.
- Hop out of the truck, use my chainsaw and chop the tree where the truck bed ends.
- Hop back in the truck, pull the next log until it's flush and rinse repeat steps 4-7 until I've got it chopped up.
What do you guys recommend? I've tried some loaders and even tried a few mods that have bigger "offroad" trucks that have claws, but it seems so much slower than just doing it 1 tree at a time manually with the Ponsse Buffalo.

A tree has fallen in my mom’s drive way, and I have to remove it. This is not the first tree I’ve had to deal with, but I am also totally ok with admitting that I have no clue what I am doing and just hack away till the tree is gone.
Whenever there is a downed tree I just use whatever my mom has on hand:
The other month I had to remove a tree that was probably about 16". I used the 12" SKIL for the majority of the tree until the chain got too dull and then tried to use the 14" homelite but it was useless (couldn’t get it cut through the tree). The big issue is that I’ve been told the current tree I’m dealing with is much bigger than the 16’ one and it is off the ground. So what I did for the last tree probably won't work for this tree.
Also, my mom lives about 30 min from a Walmart and 1.5 hours from a Home Depot. So whatever materials I need, I will have to get from my area before I leave and drive down to her place. I haven’t seen the tree in person yet, so I don’t fully know what I have to work with. (I’ve added pics of the tree but I’ve been told the pics make the tree look smaller)
1)Do I need to get a new chainsaw? If so what do you suggest? I’d prefer a battery operated one since it’s easier for me to use but if a gas powered one is necessary then I can deal with it.
2)Is it possible to just get a bigger bar for the SKIL saw I already have or would going from a 12’ bar to an 18’ be too much?
3)How should I cut the tree? Usually I just cut it up no plan needed, but the tree fell in such a way that it’s about 3-4 feet off the ground. Do I just start in the middle or should I work from one end to the other? For reference I’m a 28F who is 5’9” and my mom is 5’2.

Ordered a tune-up kit for my Husqvarna 445e II and the new spark plug is a resistor type (HQT-1r) whereas the original spark plug is a non-resistor type (HQT-1). I have verified in the updated chainsaw manual that the new spark plug is a perfectly acceptable replacement. I’m new to this stuff, and it’s actually particularly difficult to find information about little things like this that’s pertinent to my use-case.
So, the question is: is there a performance difference between the two and what should I know?

If it is designed to be used with your hands and is hand-portable, it stays charged. You don't even need a battery, actually. Cordless drill? Now it's a battery-less drill. This power would not work for things not designed to be used manually. You may be able to pick up a desktop PC, but that doesn't make it a handheld device. Same with, say, a car battery.

2024.04.23 02:15 NobleCommando can't get it to start.
It hasn't in over 10 years. It's a homelite textron super 2. I gave it gas, I took it apart, cleaned the carburetor, cleaned the spark plug, spaced the spark plug, put it back together but it still won't start.

So, I have a 24v Trimmer, a long with other 24v devices (3 batteries, I might have 4, but I think it is the thinner one, and the 80v Chainsaw (1 battery), however, I am looking getting a few other items for yard work, etc. I have in mind getting the 24v Universal Connect Multi-Head system or should I go with the 80v?

- Brush Cutter Attachment (for large weed plants (namely Common Mallow (aka: Buttonweed, Cheese Plant, Cheeseweed, Common Mallow) LINK)
- Pole Saw Attachment (Not necessary, but it would get used).
- Dethatcher Attachment (More so a Tiller type of attachment for a Garden bed).

The chord is 12 guage and rated to 8 amps. Obviously the load is more than the chord is rated for, but in your experience will the saw actually draw 12 amps the whole time? Can it withstand peaks without being dangerous? I cant find this information in the saw manual. It will be plugged in to a 20 amp gfci receptacle.
