So we're about to have our 1 year anniversary soon. He's not a crazy long distance away, he's 5 hours from me by car. He's litterally the most perfect guy i've ever dated. He's messaged me almost every morning and night cute goodnight/goodmorning messages. I work as a waitress/bartender so I could realistically work anywhere, but being far from home is hard, and the people in his town are just not the type of people i'd get along with, or at least close to. Finding work there has been surprisingly hard for me, as I can get into fancy places where I live here, and people will keep me on the payroll forever over here. On top of that, I had a doubt ever since the beginning about him, when it comes to girls especially. The girls in his town don't look interesting compared to the city we both come from, so even if he says he's loyal, I feel like he hasn't had much exposure, and I suspect him flirting with my brothers gf (sometimes making me the butt of some jokes just to make her laugh - she's 35 btw lol but she's pretty too). I honestly don't know I might be crazy, regardless it's giving me a reason to emotionally disassociate myself with him right now. I've already mentioned it to him once, he denied anything with a laugh, and I don't see the point of talking about it again. But I also know that he's a really good guy, he looks great, and is an amazing bf, which is so rare to see and I'm so so scared of losing him for that reason, which is why I cut him some slack. We also get along in person. Facetime simply gets boring really quickly. And if we're out in a party, were definitely not "two peas in a pod"; we have very seperate convos, and I don't even see him ever getting along with my friends at all. My friends and family are something super important to me, as well as the need to be financially 100% independent, but I'm so scared of losing this DIME though. My parents and aunt really want us to stay together too, which creates extra pressure for me. I don't want to end up in another loop of finding dogshit men who only care to play with people's feelings. And being single, seems kinda pointless to me right now. I've been single long enough in my life, or in pointless relationships too. I would hate to end up with higher standards if I left him, only to end up being 50 with no one in their life. But I also want to be single ? I don't know what to do with this feeling honestly.

I make stuff like this for a modded forge server (we cant use forge based server that have plugin support ok ? Yea ik it would be easier with a plugin)

So I have run sfc/scannow on a machine with a freshly installed copy of windows and lo-and-behold I got aroud 1800 error messages (after filtering them with a python script from a sfcdetails.txt file). I'm certain sfc/scannow didn't repair them (it in fact said it couldn't). So how f*ed am I? Below is a list of the filtered error messages and the files/modules they are referring to (I deleted all redundant references and been left with around 250 files/modules). I don't know what "Cannot verify component files" means, is it due to how I ran the command on cmd promt(I was in admin mode)?
From what I could gather from this, .NET framework is gone, but I already figured as much and tried to install a windows tool to repair (although that didn't seem to do anything). Is there a way to repair these files without reinstalling windows? Is there even a need to repair them if I was able to install programms just fine on the pc?

I've been single for 6 years and I've decided to do something about it! I've tried a couple of dating apps in the past and quite frankly they suck. I've posted on here a lot over the last few years and met some cool, and some not so cool, people so now here I am rewriting my post again to see who else is around!
I'm 26 and from South East England. Physically, I'm fat (cuddly 😛) I've got short brown hair, blue/greyish eyes, a nose, 2 arms, 2 legs, and all that usual stuff. I'm also 6'3 so if you fancy sitting on my shoulders and seeing what the weather's like up here then I'm definitely up for it! Relationship wise I can be quite dorky and weird when I'm with someone I know well enough. I'm also a massive fan of cuddles so hopefully you like them as much as me!
In my free time, I do quite a lot of gaming, although not as much as I used to. I've got a massive box of films and TV shows that I'm gradually working my way through. It's mostly horror and sci-fi films at the moment, and I could definitely do with someone else to cuddle up and watch them with! I'm also into Warhammer 40k, but I haven't built or painted anything for ages so I've mostly got a cabinet full of grey plastic at the moment... I would like to do some travelling to tick things off my bucket list, but travelling alone is never as much fun as having someone to go with! I'm currently looking into a trip to Svalbard, but a lot of the activities have a minimum of two people so it'd be even less fun to travel there alone!

I would like to do some travelling to tick things off my bucket list, but travelling alone is never as much fun as having someone to go with! I'm currently looking into a trip to Svalbard, but a lot of the activities have a minimum of two people so it'd be even less fun to travel there alone!
For other discussion topics, I've got a soft spot for anything paranormal or conspiracy theory related, anything science related, or pretty much anything else you can think of!
So who am I looking for? Well;

• Preferably someone in the UK (especially down in the South East), I can drive so basically anywhere in the country is fairly easy to get to.
• I don't mind if you're from abroad, but please speak good English, and preferably be from somewhere with not too big of a time zone difference, unless you're awake at odd hours of course!
• Physically I don't really have a "type". Anything from normal up to thicc with 5 c's is fine by me. I'm totally not bothered by height, even if somehow you're taller than me. I would say I have a thing for more "alt" types though so if that's you then you should definitely message! (Although you totally should even if you're not).
• Overall I'm just looking for someone kind, caring, and non-judgemental who actually wants to talk to and spend time with me as much as I want to talk to and spend time with them.

I just need some outside opinions on this. I had a tough time growing up as my brother was physically abusive towards me up until my early 20's. I will spare the details however my parents enabled this behavior and so this is just something we do not talk about and generally my brother ignores me if we ever see each other, which is maybe twice a year if that.
My sister sent out a text just to the siblings about meeting up for Mothers Day as we didn't get to on the day of. In the middle of the night I receive a group text with my sisters sent from my future sister-in-law saying she has never felt welcomed by us. She said her and my brother spoke about the group message and a txt of an invite to him is not an invite to her. It is odd since my sister in that group message said we should all bring our partners but I'm also a bit taken a back that someone about to marry into a family would txt something like this. She then said we are not giving her the same energy she gives us.
First, this was just a text between siblings and really not meant to cast out anyone. Second, my sisters and I have always been welcoming to her and I genuinely mean that. I will ask her about her life and her family, I made sure to congratulate them on their engagement. I don't let the unresolved issues I have with my family change how I treat her but I do make sure to set some boundaries when it becomes too much for me. For example she did ask to meet up in person earlier in their relationship and I did mention I was busy at the time and deferred to seeing them during the holiday but it is because of the lack of a relationship I have with my brother. I don't go out of my way to get to know her outside of functions we are at because I don't have a relationship with my brother and it is difficult for me as he abused me. I text him every birthday with no response back. I make sure to say hi to him and her and ask them questions about their lives if we are together. Every partner I have had has mentioned something about the way my brother treats me and ignores my presence. They have even commented on how my mother will put me down and compliment him in front of people which has been really hard to explain to them that this is how it is for me. This is the family dynamic.
I don't think my future SIL knows about the abuse and honestly I don't want to talk about it with her. When I got older I just accepted my family will be unfair in this situation but I'll try to be the 'bigger person' in and still try to be supportive. My own family has a hard time recognizing this so obviously this isn't something I feel comfortable speaking about to someone coming into the family. I just thought the text was a bit selfish as it just assumes we are coming from a bad place but also it was my sister that texted for the plans so unsure why you would text all of us about excluding you when no other partners were added. Whenever I do see my brother he is not kind to me or ignores me altogether. He also never texts or acknowledges my partner if they are ever present. She definitely notices this as she will be in the room as it happens. My partner will also notice so clearly it's obvious my brother and I do not have a normal relationship. I'm not sure what to say to this. I just feel really sad and weird. I'm not trying to leave her out but this guy abused me and it's bad enough my own family doesn't understand. People are just so quick to think the worst in others I guess.

I (32F) and my husband (41M) have two kids and are expecting our third pretty soon.
Little history, I was induced with my first two pregnancies because of low fluid with one and cholestasis with the other. We had a ectopic pregnancy with a third that resulted in emergency surgery, loss of a fallopian tube and loss of fetus. We always wanted a bigger family, so we were thrilled when we were pregnant again with a healthy baby.
I will be a SAHM once our 3rd arrives. I’ll be homeschooling as well and we’ve looked at our finances and will be OK.
Here comes the argument last Friday. My mom made a comment about how spacious our houses, I said while chuckling, “ more room for more kids!” She got stern and said it’s selfish for people to want more kids and that it’s not fair because kids don’t ask to be brought into the world. I didn’t say any more and tried to brush it off, but when I called her the next day, I could tell she was upset. I asked her what was wrong and she just laid into me. To summarize, she told me it would be selfish for us to have a 4th, it won’t be fair to the other kids, at least two will have to share a room, we won’t get to do fancy trips, etc. She also asked what would happen if something happened to my husband as he is older. I’m a nurse so could always go back to work if needed.
I tried stopping the conversation because I was sobbing at this point, thanks pregnancy hormones. But she refused and just kept going. It finally ended with me telling her again to stop and she said OK bye. The next day was Mother’s Day and I sent her a nice Mother’s Day message, all I got in return was a hope you had a good day too thanks. No happy Mother’s Day and return. I’m extremely hurt and sad and don’t know how to salvage our relationship or even how to start another conversation. Right now people agree that she’s the asshole but if I tell her to butt out, then I could be the asshole.

Hey all, a little context: My neighbor Henry (fake name) is an older gentleman, probably 70’sish, good ol’ neighborly southern guy. I’ve chatted with him from time to time. He gives my gf and I homemade peanut butter fudge every Christmas (courtesy of his old lady), he once helped me cut down some old trees in my back yard without me even asking him for help.
The problem is he has a couple of quirks. He’s sort of a gun nut. Always has a pistol on his hip. He sports a tshirt that says “aromatherapy,” with a picture of a magnum with a smoking barrel. I think he fancies himself the neighborhood watch. Ok fine.
The issue is, he stands outside between my house and his, and just stares at us (my gf and I 32m 29f). He doesn’t say hello or anything unless we do first, and afterwards he’ll linger around watching what we’re doing. It’s not unusual for him to come outside almost every time either of us pull into my driveway. If we’re outside doing yard work, we will look up 4 or 5 times to find him enjoying the show.
Here’s where I feel like an AH. I bought a hot tub recently for the back patio, and my gf is super uncomfortable at the possibility of Henry watching us at night. She calls him peeping Tom lol. I have no reason to think he’s some kind of pervert, but the staring is very odd.
So my gf’s dad offered to build a small section of fence to go between mine and Henry’s house where he usually stands to watch us, but I can’t help by feel like this sends a strong message that we think he’s creepy, when he’s been friendly in the past. I don’t really want to have the conversation with him about it, because it just feels too weird to tell an elderly man not to look at us, and maybe he’s just lonely or something.
I’m leaning towards putting the fence up for my gf’s peace of mind. So Reddit aitah?

I'm new to skyrim and modding in general but I read on load order is important that the game runs properly but I have no idea what or how to exactly sort it properly. Could anybody give a general guideline to follow. Currently whenever i encounter any problems i either do: a) Skip the mod entirely after searching the mods and found it might be too complex to follow b) Reinstall Skyrim and hope for the best c) Enable and disable mods to find out which is working or not working

Hi all. I am honestly so flabbergasted about this that I am having trouble coming up with a reply to this woman.
My [30F] wife [32F] and I are going on a trip for our wedding anniversary—nothing too fancy, just some domestic travel to California (we live in the Northeast). My aunt [43F] is a single mom to a 12 year old and shares custody with the child’s father, which means that dad gets custody for the entire summer save for one week. Aunt asked what my plans were for that week and I was honest and told her we’d be out of town in San Diego. Aunt then said that that was great because that’s somewhere she and Cousin were considering traveling to that same week. I then told her we’d actually be there for our wedding anniversary, and she seemed to drop the idea. I was relieved—Aunt is very…difficult to vacation with. She believes family should help with her child and gets angry if we don’t do what she and Cousin want to do or if we aren’t entertaining Cousin enough for her to get in some relaxation time. She is rude to waitstaff/rude in general and her temper has me on edge whenever I am around her. I don’t want people to think that I’m judgmental for mentioning this next part, but she has also been the mistress to a man for the past ~11 years and I don’t really want to pretend I support that on my WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TRIP.
Needless to say, I was overly optimistic that she’d get the hint. She’s now asked for the exact dates we’ll be there so that “we can meet up,” but of course she “doesn’t want to intrude on [my] anniversary trip”. I genuinely don’t know what to say to her—Reddit, what would you tell your aunt?
tl;dr - my aunt invited herself and my tween cousin on my wedding anniversary trip to California. She’s pushy and can be mean when told no. I don’t know how to get out of the situation and need some advice on how to uninvite her.

I used the response of u/UsuallyWrite2 and my aunt replied with a 2 paragraph message saying that I was hurting her because all she wanted was to meet up for lunch or dinner and I shot it down immediately and that I (an adult with a mortgage and full time job) never fly home to see my cousin who adores me and that nobody in our family seems to care about Cousin. Some other choice sentiments include that she supports me trying to set boundaries but that I need to be flexible for people I love…ahh, I love a good guilt trip.

I used to send a weekly email but took a long extended break. I'm thinking about relaunching.
Was using Mailchimp, but dont love the interface or Mailchimp in general, its expensive too. Something about it just makes me not happy. Ive been paying for it for 15 months without using.
Started looking at new providers today like ConvertKit, BeeHiv etc... Not sure which to use or another? I send a simply text-based email, sometimes videos or a picture or too, nothing fancy.
I've used email octopus in the past, but found it not overly reliable, tons of messages going to junk.
