My (15F) boyfriend’s (16M) family hates me. I started dating my boyfriend in June, he’s white and comes from a white family and I am mixed, black and filipino. My dad is filipino and my mom is black. My dad really isn’t in my life so I am raised by my black mother. For the first few weeks we didn’t tell anyone, but then his cousin found out and told her mom (his great-aunt) and her mom told her sister (his grandma) who in return told her son (his dad). A few weeks later I told my mom. I met his aunt one day while we were out down town, his aunt’s house is right next to our down town area. He was hot and wanted to cool off and they had been asking to meet me. So we went in and I said hi and everything. He took me to the room he usually stays in when he spends the night or whatever and his grandma came over and she said hi. They all said I was really pretty and everything was well. Flash forward a few weeks and I come over to his aunt’s regularly. His dad starts making weird racial comments nothing serious (remind you I havn’t met him at this point). He is saying stuff like that my boyfriend (lets call him Lorax) is a wigger (white N-word) and that he got with me to “look cool”. I tried not to let this bother me. So around late june maybe early July I went to a small festival with him, his aunt and cousin. He asked for hickeys because he liked how they look and I gave them to him (not the best judgement on my part I am aware) when he got home his dad saws and calls his mom into the room. I was on the phone when this happened. His dad starts screaming and ranting and in his rant he states “You get her pregnant and you will end up working in a amazon warehouse with a bunch of ghetto black nggrs like her”. Yea. After that 4th of July comes around his dad comes and dosen’t say a word to me and ignores his son and I. As it all progressed August comes and my boyfriend tells his grandma about some not good things his dad is doing (I won’t go into detail but his dad is kinda abusive) and his grandma goes and tells his dad what he said. His dad is convinced that I was trying to convince my boyfriend to run away and come live with me (nothing like this happened) and that I was in on it. His grandma gets convinced too and starts saying that I am telling him to say these things because my boyfriend is “weak minded”. Adter that blows over everything goes back to semi-normal. The next huge thing is when his grandma asked him what he was doing for the holidays. He said he was going to spend thanksgiving with her and christmas with me and we would stop by for dinner. She states that no girlfriends are allowed for holidays (even though she allows other teenage family members to bring s/o over) and that I was trying to take him away from his family. It was not my idea for him to spend Christmas with me it was what he wanted since his family usually gets drunk and ruins the holidays by arguing and causing drama. She proceeds to say things like I am not the one for him and he will see, and that I am manipulating him into leaving his family. He is of course denying these things and they refuse to believe him. After that thanksgiving break comes and his mom gets mad that she does not know me well (shes never showed interest before) and that she was upset I never came over (because his dad called me the n word) and I did not feel comfortable nor welcomed. I gave it a chance or I was going to. The day that I was suppose to come over he got into a car crash. He was fine but his car is completely messed up. They blamed him (he hydroplaned and had no control over what happened and even the tow truck people said that) and then of course blamed me somehow. They said he was to immature to be in a relationship and that it was clear he would get me pregnant eventually which was what they texted my mom. Also they had this idea that I was going to baby trap him and steal all their money (I am 15 and have no plans on having a child) which is why I always wonder if I was a white girl would they have that same thought of me. Also his dad was scrolling through instagram and he saw the white girl who babysat his little sister a lot and told him “why can’t you get a girl like her”. So yea. Anyways after that we had to pretend to not be dating for a few days because we were convinced his parents didn’t want us together. We snuck around and then his parents saw us together said they didn’t care and everything was normal for like 4 days. Today was when everything hit the fan. His grandma texts him out of no where asking for his schedule and he gave it to her and he only works one day this week which even he was pissed at. She then said that she knew he was calling off work to see me and we were sneaking around and whatever (he has never called off work before and his parents later called and it was confirmed) she said the same things that I wasn’t the one. He gets home from us hanging out and his parents yell at him and tell him that I am manipulating him and bringing drama into his life. They said he was to stupid and absent minded to be in a relationship (he is not stupid he has a 3.5 gpa) and basically they said we cant see eachother anymore. That is all the main things that I can think of and I really need advice because we are very lost. We are young and it frustrates me that its not a lot to do. I don’t want to break up with him and hurt him over something that isn’t his fault but I just need advice on what is the best option. Thank you to anyone who replies.

2023.01.30 11:27 StoopSign Critical Review of movie You People
Romantic comedy of a Jewish Wigger (Jonah Hill) who dates the daughter of a Black Muslim. It's a woke movie that's the most racist movie I've seen in a long time. Racist against black people, white people--but especially racist against black people
The Good: Movie starts with a podcast banter with Jonah Hill and his black woman friend and podcast partner. Quote from her "I loved 2014 and loved Barack. Not only for the Newports but also the coke. He would do gay shit on coke and sick govt stuff on coke. If anyone brought it up he'd just blsme it on the coke" (Instant hook. Real shit. I'm watching this). The way he initially meets the girl confusing her for an uber driver and she takes it racially. Jonah is smooth takes it well and gets a date.
Although also good is Julia Louis Dreyfus as Jonah's mom claiming wokism then being a hypocrite when Jonah's sister is lesbian which she claims to accept but doesn't really. Legit funny moments outweighed by cringe... Another good moment though is when the movie shows how Jews play the victim too much, as they haven't been current victims in the US. Black Muslim dad says: For 1.5% of the population you guys seem to have a lot of power.
The bad: The girl is light skinned. Beauty standards and whatnot. Jonah shows up to the date dressed like an ass clown in a tie-dye sweatsuit. No self respecting professional black woman who's better dressed wants the full bore Finance Wigger. The way Jonah Flirts is attempting to show he's down with black people--tad bit dehumanizing... gets her into bed through some legit charm and cuts that BS when they're together. Playing basketball against the black dad is contrived. The dad is very hung up on race and acts like an asshole---wokism gets pretty racist at times.
The Ugly: All characters are well off. Wokism is devoid of class consciousness. The worst offense comes from the black female best friend: Black people and white people can never get along...we just can't forgive you for what you did and what you continue to do. WHAT?? This is declaring that black people are forever bitter about slavery, Jim Crow et al.
That's not how black people see the world. Even woke black people. They're not dumb. They go after power. Black people see people as people. So do white prople... and all people. The overbearing black father being a total dick to Jewish Jonah could be sneaky Hollywood going after the 5%ers by showing them as both racist and anti-Semitic. It shows the couple apologizing for the racism of their Gen X parents so it also has a pro-millenial bias
So I consider myself rationally woke. My mom is multiracial and my dad is whire. My mom is unequivocally a better person, but I still connect with my dad on the SWM level. My half-sister is half-jewish and way whiter then me,as I have a Jewish step-mom. That family disowned me for 6yrs. I've also had à black semi step-dad for 15yrs. I believe this gives me the right to talk about blacks Jews and whites as I critique all 3 and credit them. At this point in the movie I think about how this white girl at a restaurant who made it obv she wants me to ask her out then went on vacation. So I've connected with the black cashier more recently. I'm considering her more now. I went black in HS then went back. Think I should go Back In Black
I'm a millenial and know how full of shit millennials are. The conversation where I connected wirh the black girl was bssed on knowledge of her neighborhood. It's not the most PC thing to hear about the neighborhood she lives in and bring up that it's right by the park known for daytime drug deals happen and where seriouds nighttime beatdowns occur but it's a simple acknowledgement that I live near there but on a better block and a simple acknowledgement that her area is rougher. It came up naturally in the convo because we live near eachother. Race was acknowledged but unspoken because we're people addressing eachother as people.
Unlike this movie where black people turn everything racial so then white people apologize for being white. This movie is pitched towards a white demo and is ultra woke and deeply racist. If my Boomer parents could date interracially then it's not as controversial as this woke movie makes it seem for millennials

Their blackness is comfortable. They are interchangeable with a white character and there’s no differences. This is the intersection of colorblind racism and internalized racism.
These are the black friends they spoke of. We have an entire generation of “black” people raised in suburbia who are/were whitewashed and disconnected from blackness and their culture. When black culture became mainstream again (through the modern minstrel shows) a good majority started using it to their advantage. They picked up the “woke” liberal ideology but kept their worldviews. -Many still looked down on black people who were from lower socioeconomic areas and the cultures that developed from these areas -Many exclusively date white or others races saying it’s a preference It’s perpetuation and propagation of internalized racism Blackness is being sold, it is being commodified and exploited in order to appease neo-black people while not being truly represented in modern media. -Appearance/Shown in media but one dimensional. They are black people but they are Oreos or cleverly disguised oreos where you can clearly tell the role was written by a white people who never met a black person or been around black people. Welcome to Lygna, Norway, an underrated gem of a venue in a rural area a bit north of Oslo. We're here for the Junior (U20) and U23 world championships, an always exciting chance to see the stars of the future in action. We kick things off at the championships unusually with a mass-start distance race for the U20s, a 15km free for the women and a 30km for the men.
Lygna is a very exciting and competitive venue, not the hardest track but a very punchy parcours that suits sprinters with capacity. Historically skiers like Klæbo and Skar have done extremely well in Norwegian distance races here, so it will be a very exciting and tactical championships, and very much the opposite of the brutal course we just saw in Beijing.
NRK will have rights to the entire championships, which means that you will get Jann Post and Torgeir Bjørn for commentary, and the races will probably be posted on YouTube pretty soon after they finish.
Expect to see a very competitive race among the top 5 or so seeds. Wigger, Krupitskaya, and Hoffmann are all big talents who already have JWSC medals, and Sydney Palmer-Leger, the top seed, was unable to compete in Vuokatti last year due to COVID.
The Russians should be extremely strong in this one as Alexander Ivshin is the defending champion from last year. Alexander Stahlberg is a very promising Finnish talent who could shake things up, and Canada's Tom Stephen and Xavier McKeever should have a strong chance at the podium in this race as well.
