2024.05.14 16:49 Puzzleheaded_Fox2690 What has sprouted in my pot?
Hi! submitted by Puzzleheaded_Fox2690 to houseplants [link] [comments] New to this subreddit, figured you could help me. Last autumn I put out 2 pots of my dying Cordyline Australis on my balcony. They have been there during the winter and spring, so about 7 months. Now it's warm here in Sweden again and I went out to wash my balcony and saw that it had a seedling in it! I googled pictures of what the Cordyline seedlings are supposed to look like and it's not a match. I know it's a far stretch, but if anyone recognize it, I would be thankful! I live in the south of Sweden, we have birch, cherry, and apple trees in our courtyard. There are hydrangea bushes right below us and some kind of other white flower tree a bit away. It looks kinda cool since it has leaves of 2 different shapes, any help would be welcomed 😊 |
2024.05.14 16:38 d_rog_359 Is this PR or GR
This started out as several red dots of abdomen and back that exploded in a week to cover my entire trunk, upper arms, armpits, and neck. Slightly itchy and did not see a herlad patch typical of PR. However, the back rash has a Xmas tree pattern making it seem like PR. No strep which would make me want to rule out GR and no history of psoriasis in my family. Using a topical steroid and tanning bed to see if it makes it better. But what doe we think it is? Anyone with similar experience? submitted by d_rog_359 to DermatologyQuestions [link] [comments] |

2024.05.14 16:17 SwampDiamonds Hydrangea ID?
At my previous home in Central Iowa, our yard had a super large hydrangea bush. I never pruned it back, and it behaved almost like a tree. I loved how easy it was to care for, how much the pollinators used it, and how big it was! submitted by SwampDiamonds to gardening [link] [comments] I would love to ID it so that I could find one for our new home in northern Illinois. Does anyone know what hydrangea type this is? |

2024.05.14 01:19 NationalJackfruit282 Help me - what should we plant?
This is our front rock bed. We plan to remove the rock and replace with mulch (we have mulch everywhere else - this is the only bed with rock). My phone tells me the shorter tree in the end is a mahaleb cherry tree. We’d like to keep it as-is. My thought was to remove everything else. The hydrangea bush is crowding the cherry quite a bit, and we hate he shorter burgundy bush (ninebark?). submitted by NationalJackfruit282 to landscaping [link] [comments] We’d like something lower maintenance - occasional trimming is ok. Would 6-7 boxwoods spaced out below the window and porch railing look ok? I’d love to hear your thoughts. The house faces west. |
2024.05.14 00:15 runnereaterOTFer What can I do to give my small apartment a more cohesive look?
Hi all! So excited that I found this board - I’m inspired by everyone’s posts. submitted by runnereaterOTFer to femalelivingspace [link] [comments] My problem is that I love interior design but can never pull it off (similar to fashion, my other love). However, I’m moving in a month and thought this was the perfect time for a refresh. I will be keeping all of the big furniture in the picture (bed, couch, coffee table, bookshelf, etc.) but can’t figure out how to bring in funky and cool decor. I live with my boyfriend but he doesn’t care how we style it... please don’t mind the mess, obviously the Christmas tree is not usually there :) How can I make this more “me”? I want more of a cohesive look. I gravitate towards bright aesthetics with a hint of preppy/coastal (i LOVE hydrangeas). I also like the modern look with a bit of a vintage twist (funky decor). Any ideas here? Any good aesthetics I could look up to make a mood board? Or do I just have to buy things and arrange how I see fit? thanks in advance for your help!! https://preview.redd.it/2us71a2jq90d1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f1e51bacd789ecfdac8ec54ecf4bb8a55a719a4 https://preview.redd.it/mz3o4a2jq90d1.jpg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=200d73824bdf3b3a521304e7effa4bdb576942f1 |

2024.05.12 23:44 Court_ruth5498 Flower bed advice
Hello! I’m looking for advice on my flower beds- I am brand new to this so please be gentle lol. I would like to keep the perennials we have but would be open to moving some things around and adding things. This is our first summer here, so most of the plants are established but we have planted a few things this spring. We are in zone 6. submitted by Court_ruth5498 to landscaping [link] [comments] 1: this bed is West facing but gets partial shade due to a very large tree we have. On the far left side is a young dwarf azalea (2-3 ft wide/tall at maturity). Then we have a couple hostas and a couple daffodils.2: same bed as #1. We have a Hosta and a lilac bush.3: full sun bed that is east/west facing. We have a variety of Dianthus, a young dwarf butterfly bush, and a boxwood.4: full sun west facing bed. We have a line of knockout roses and we just planted an endless summer hydrangea (not sure how that’s going to go.) |

2024.05.11 23:23 ImHereForTheDessert What is this flowering tree called?
We keep driving past these in my Maryland neighborhood. I would like to plant some but I have no idea what they are. Google images says Rhododendron , Azalea, & hydrangea. The blooms are large on leggy stems/tree branches. The petals of the flowers look larger than hydrangeas. submitted by ImHereForTheDessert to gardening [link] [comments] |
