2024.05.14 18:18 Height-Increase For plastic surgery and other cosmetic advice what areas should a guy focus on?

Im asking here in askwomennocensor because of course unless you aren’t a straight women and don’t care for how a man looks, women obviously know what looks best on men when it comes to clothes, style, hair, body types etc. However I’m leaning towards a different aspect this time and asking about cosmetic surgeries.
Let’s say you have your average looking guy and he wants to find ways to improve his face. What advice would you recommend or areas of his face to focus on? Like for example, would you recommend a beard transplant or face lift something or of the sort? What would you recommend?

2024.05.14 18:05 ReasonableAnimal8417 Skin-Surface Tingling & Numbness Inner Left Thigh

For a little bit more context; this sensation has been happening for about 4 days at this point.
Male. Age: 30, weight 145. Vegan and moderately active with good blood pressure and no prior history of injury or illness (but I work a desk job)
Onset happened after I fell asleep on the couch with my legs criss-crossed (monk style) for several hours. Upon waking up my saddle area was very sore and I had pins and needles. Went away initially after walking around and stretching.
Day later and up until today, every time I sit down whether it’s on the couch or my ergonomic office chair I get a strange skin-surface prickling feeling on the inside of my left thigh near the groin and down to mid-thigh.
The sensation goes away immediately if I stand up or lay down in a supine position. I have no weakness in the leg as far as I can tell and no changes to my gait.
No pain either, just a weird tingling that almost reminds me of the feeling of getting your leg hair compressed by a weird fabric or when wearing skinny jeans. And again ONLY when sitting.
The Internet keeps recommending me neuralgia parasthetica but it is very specifically not that. It only occurs on the inside and back of my thigh not the top or outside.
Looking for any advice and possibly a recommendation for a certain specialist I should see and if whether or not it’s urgent enough to go to ER.

2024.05.14 18:03 ThatTicket4303 [Hiring] An artist that can do graffiti-esque outline style?

Yeah I don't really know what the art style would be but when I look at it I think graffiti. I included a reference image for style so the drawing would lean closer to that. I want this style in a drawing of two of my friends and me (reference images will be sent but full disclosure the three of us are African American so you will have to be able to do black hair styles even if simplified) Poses can be discussed but they might end up on the more dynamic side like these images are. (if this isn't dynamic at all my bad I'm running with everything I learned in art class in 5th grade) The turnaround is kind of quick I'm trying to have this done by the end of may but the sooner the better. I'm not really sure how complicated this style would be so I'm open to discuss budget. Also if you could demonstrate that you've done something simila can do this that would be great but I know this isn't really a common style people are doing. Thanks!

2024.05.14 18:00 Yourfaveiricist How to do natural hair with mobility and dexterity issues? And product recommendations

I’ve been trying to wear my natural hair more often and I’ve been watching tutorials on different styles + how to take care of natural hair. The issue isn’t learning how to do something with my hair but rather I physically cannot do anything to my hair without it causing me a lot of pain. I can’t have my hands up for too long and my wrists start to go limp on me.
I’ve tried to look further into it, hoping I can find people with similar issues as me on YouTube but I can’t find anything. I would have no problem paying someone to do my hair but in my area people want to charge an arm and a leg despite not having any type of professional licensing.
Also, I’m having issues with finding the right hair products for my hair. I’ve pretty much tried everything under the sun (no type of gel slicks down my hair, most products flake up in my hair, a lot of products dry out my hair or make my hair feel rough)
For reference:
I have 4a/4b hair texture + my hair is really coarse in the back of my head.
My hair is really thick
I’ve mainly used products from the Mielle line but i only use the exfoliating shampoo and hydrating conditioner because any other products makes my hair dry out.
Any advice + recommendations will help

2024.05.14 17:57 Beautiful_Beginning2 New lease on Wavy/Curly girl life

New lease on Wavy/Curly girl life
My last post I was asking for advice on washing because my hair was not living up to it’s beautiful curl potential. and HUZZAH I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT!!! I simplified my routine, I did extensive googling on the best products for my hair type and porosity, and in only 4 days I have improved my hair from flat and inconsistent to fully textured and frizz free. My fool proof routine (for myself, all hair is different) is to wash with Maui Moisturizer Hibiscus Water shampoo and conditioner, brushing and detangling with the conditioner in and while rinsing it out. When I get out, I brush through one more time to part my hair and section it into left and right, put my hair oil on the ends only. Then for each side I rake through the Curlsmith Weightless Air Dry Cream as my leave-in and scrunch until I have my curl clumps formed. After, I use the Curlsmith Styling Soufflé for my gel and rub that into my hands to lightly use the prayer method to get it on each curl, get a little more gel and start scrunching until the product is mostly off my hands. I diffuse until the gel finishes casting and air dry the rest of the way.

2024.05.14 17:56 ClaimSalt1697 A MASTER LIST of real world tie-ins to ACOTAR: Part 1—Characters & Courts ✨🌙

⚠️ WARNING: Maasverse Spoilers—Proceed with Caution ⚠️

-----------------
Part 1: Characters and Courts - YOU ARE HERE
Part 2: World Map, Items, Terms & Other
-----------------

Well, here we go. A master list of all things ACOTAR + the "real" world.

Now, do I believe every single name and location on this list was chosen by SJM with a specific real-world allusion in mind? Of course not. But when you look at the similarities, you'd be hard pressed to deny some of their very probable relations.
As far as this list goes, I've provided what was within my ability to find—coupling each with that which made the most sense relationally—though several definitions would appear to have zero connection to the story at large.
I can't promise perfection. Heck, I can't even promise 100% accuracy (though I did cross-reference the more obscure sources). And I will gladly welcome any missing pieces and/or additional insight you may have.
\Note: If a character or place/item is minor enough, I've included a reminder of their book roles.*

So come on, friends. Let's dive on in.

Fun note: The love interest trapping tidbit has interesting connotations for both Lucien (regarding Vassa) and Azriel (regarding Eris). For a breakdown of the Azriel x Koschei scene in ACOSF, see HERE.

2024.05.14 17:52 Noaloves 27 Piece hairstyle/quickweave advice

Hi everyone! I quickly wanted to ask anyone who has experience doing hair or this style(27 piece/quickweave) about the cap they use?
I want to try these styles but I’m a bit scared of damaging my natural hair. I wanted to ask what cap you would advise someone to use?
Thank you in advance ❤️

2024.05.14 17:48 smittenkittyyan There is a new series adaptation of the manga "Takara no biidoro" announced, that will air on July.😁. Finally, it was getting a bit dry...

There is a new series adaptation of the manga
No many things are know about this new series at this moment.
The cast hasn't been revealed yet
The only sure things is the source material and that it will air on July ( highly likely at the very beginning of July).
Like i mentioned in the title, the series is adapted from the manga Takara no biidoro by Minta Suzumaru and depicts a sweet-sour love story between Taishin Nakano, a junior who moved to Tokyo from Fukuoka, and Takara Shiga, a caring senior.
The synopsis from the manga sounds like this: "Taishin has moved to Tokyo from his hometown of Fukuoka in order to reunite with Takara, a stranger who had consoled him in his grief the year prior. However, despite finally getting a chance to express his gratitude to Takara at college, he is given the cold shoulder! But Taishin, undeterred, decides to pursue Takara anyway, and Takara finds himself becoming more and more enchanted by Taishin's straightforward and earnest gaze."
The mangaupdates link: https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/tzaachtakara-no-biidoro
The MDL page for the series is no ready yet.
From a quick glimpse on the manga, i predict that the series might turn out to be a mix between Living with him and If it's with you. A few overreaction moments here and there, but a romcom slice of life at it's core 😆
I really love Takara's blond and untamed hair. Thus, i wonder how they will style his hair in the series.

Do I have curly hair?
I’m going to do more research to help my understanding of curly hair but before I buy products or anything I kinda want to know if I actually do have curls? What does it look like to you?
a few notes
FIRST PIC- my hair unbrushed / how it turns out at the end of the day
SECOND PIC- my hair normally
THIRD PIC- my hair after using a curl styling cream (the problem with this is that my hair just looked really ratty and messy the next day, and it was not soft at all) also when I brush it on the morning they all fall out!
https://preview.redd.it/yj27j21iwe0d1.jpg?width=3464&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56ab77f3f9ad411f67581da946985c0cc64be5f5
  • my hair was very curly growing up and they sort of stopped around 7 yrs old when my hair got longer which is why I suspect I have curls
but yes any help or opinion is appreciated thank you🙏🏻 I’m new to all this so it kinda confuses me, if my hair was curly, surely it wouldn’t need to be styled to achieve curls? I rlly don’t know how it works

2024.05.14 17:39 julincloud [OC][Comm] My OC in a Mucha inspired style

(Repost because I mistyped the flair, so if got removed)
My go to artist suggested painting my OC in a style inspired by Alphonse Mucha - I loved the idea and basically gave her free reign. I just received the final result and I'm in love, so I want to share it!
The character's name is Lileas, therefore the lilies. He's an abjuration wizard and currently a student at Blackstaff Academy in Waterdeep. He's more the "dusty library kid" type and wouldn't usually wear this kind of clothing but I looove the way it looks on him, I think it suits him very well!
His hair is btw the result of a visit to the Feywild a few weeks into the campaign. A little eladrin girl thought his brown hair "looked too sad", so she decided to magically change it to something more colourful.

2024.05.14 17:30 Sufficient-Royal3179 Curly cut worth it?

I have wavy hair, 2a-2b. It’s fine but very dense. I always have issue maintaining volume at the roots and my hair tends to get weighed down. Styled, it’s more 2b-2c. I’ve had some decent hair cuts from regular stylists, but I feel like they often don’t understand my hair type. Layers are necessary. I don’t know how to describe it, but my most recent hair cut feels like she only put layers on the very surface. Afterwards, I asked her to go back in and put more layers in. She said she put in a ton, but it just doesn’t feel like it. Maybe I’m not communicating something right?
I’ve thought about doing a curly cut. Is it worth it for my hair type?? I never wear it straight, but I also don’t think my hair clumps consistently. Seems like it is different every time I style it.
Routine: It doesn’t respond well to the CGM. I have to wash it every other day. I use Oaui fine hair shampoo and conditioner. I only brush it with conditioner in the shower. Then before I get out of the shower, I scrunch it with Cake Mousse and gel. After the shower, I scrunch some more with a microfiber towel. Then hover diffuse.

2024.05.14 17:22 Reasonable_Tie_132 Hair rollers?

I’ve been practicing using foam hair rollers. I also have Velcro but don’t love them. I use pins to hold them in because they slip otherwise even with the clip that comes with the rollers.
I have medium length, straight hair and it’s probably normal thickness. I use 1 - 1 1/4 inch rollers. The look I’m going for is like a vintage pin curl brush out. I have other size rollers as well but have just stuck to that size.
My problem is I feel like I’m using so many. I have tried different quantities of hair on each roller and so I’m pretty confident in the amount I’m rolling up. The YouTube videos I’ve watched seem to show women using less than I do by far. I’d say I’m using 18-20. I’m not able to get them into a straight neat line yet like the videos show, so right now they are kind of placed a bit wonky but I do seperate my hair in the suggested sections before starting.
My hair dries very slowly and even after a full night in the rollers it’s damp. I feel like the amount of rollers I’m using is contributing to this. I have yet to get the style I want but I’m going to keep trying.
For ladies who use rollers, does that seem like a lot to use? Normal? Am I just doing it wrong because I’m inexperienced?
Any advice welcome. It takes so long to put them up and take them out.

2024.05.14 17:18 throwawayforaday2175 Not taking care of my hair enough?

Hello everyone! I just found this sub right before making this post and I need some insight.
I'm 20F and in college and I have trouble keeping to a shedule to wash my hair. It's too the point where I wash it once every month of two 😓 When I do, I do a DEEP clean to get everything out. My scalp doesn't get that itchy between washes (not anymore than my skin does) but i know that doesn't mean it's healthy.
I usually blowdry and straighten it after washing since I find it easier to style and maintain. Then I cut my split ends. I don't use any product much apart from shampoo and conditioner and oiling my hair a bit every week or two. It stays straight until I wash it again.
I don't know what my hair type is exactly. It's either 4b or 4c. It goes past my shoulders to the top part of my back.
I feel like I'm not taking care of my hair as much as I should basically 😭 the people at the salon never said anything and my mom says it looks healthy but idk.

2024.05.14 17:09 Aggressive_Eggplant What products can I buy to help my hair

What products can I buy to help my hair
Ive been straightening my hair since I was 12, I’m now 29 and sick of it, I’ve never left the house without it being straight. I don’t even know where to start, my hair routine is I wash it every other day or 2 days, blow dry it then straighten it, then straighten the next day before I go out etc. I’m looking for any advice or products I can start with to try and style it to my natural hair type I don’t like all the little fizzy bits (you can see it more in the other 3 pics). 1st picture is it fully dried naturally, the other three are it being slightly damp still underneath I also don’t like how ‘big’ it is, is there any way I was flatten it a bit but keep it curly?

How should I style my hair?
I (20M) can't seem to find a consistent way to style my hair. Some days it just works out and looks nice, and other days it just does whatever the hell it wants. Is there anything specific I should go for and/or do?
