I’ve been dating a spiritual narcissist and feel hopeless
I feel like I have no voice. If I ever try to speak up, he will diminish what I say, dismiss what I say, and or gas light me. The worst of it all, he had a whole secret life - another partner of 9 years. She is living in Belize. He doesn’t take any accountability or responsibility for cheating or lying. He doesn’t see it this way. We have been together almost a year. I feel trapped. I’m out here on a ranch with him, and I’m on the other side of it crying. I just want to get back home. I want to get all of my things and go… he is just awful. I asked him for help with something so I could get a credit line, and he told me that absolutely I shouldn’t have any credit line. I said what about emergencies? I have no money… he told me well how will you pay it every month. I said it was only 500 credit line, I don’t think it will be that big of a deal, except for that I’m in the middle of no where with him so for now dependent on him… no car of my own. He even said, why do you want one? Is it so you can leave me? Ugh. Anyway, he wouldn’t even help. He also is annoyed if I ask him to drive me and my things back to Houston. The ranch is an hour away. Nights like tonight, after all of the put downs and insults… Criticism about everything I do, how I picked up a dish, how I didn’t let the fish defrost long enough, how much better he would have done things… I feel like I can walk away. Ugh. This is the first narcissist I have ever met. How has anyone else been able to let them go? I am worried that I have a trauma bond too.
Also today, I had to listen for the one millionth time about how he has special knowledge that no one else does and he notices it when he’s around others. That he doesn’t feel like he can really find people who are as enlightened as him and …prob he needs to be a teacher and lots of people will follow him bc he has assendend so high. He will brag and go on and on while I clean up the kitchen from dinner, he won’t help. He will watch for me to mess up so he can pause his bragging and criticize how I breath or something. He is always repeating the same scripts… and he likes to talk about from the second he wakes up… how in 5th grade he was the smartest, the teachers All knew… he said that I wouldn’t have been on his level at that age.. or he will say things like… what movie do you like? Then say oh… that’s a movie with little character development, I haven’t entertained those types since middle school.. or he will play one of his spiritual lectures and at the end say, that was too deep for you to understand. Wtf. It’s like all day, things like this.
And I’m heartbroken that he has this other girl. He told me she’s his stability and so he will stay with her and I’m allowed to be the mistress and publicly the assistant. She is coming back to the US.
I just hate him. I want to leave rn and somehow have him erased from my memory so I won’t cry over this. Ugh.

My daughter is 3.5, I love her and she is driving me absolutely insane.
There was no switch at 2, or 3, her behavior has just slowly been ramping up over the past yeayear and a half. She is constantly demanding “her” music, “her” shows, screaming no at her baby brother, screaming no at the dog, and giving conditional affection to mom and dad depending on how much we are willing to give her her way.
She screams and clings to me every day (3 days a week) when I drop her off at daycare. I haven’t been able to give her baby brother any attention at drop off because the morning is spent trying to get her settled without too much drama about being dropped off. So the daycare teacher requested trying something new, setting the expectation that I will walk her in, give her a big hug and kiss and turn around and leave. So yeah, still no time to tend to baby brother who is also going through separation anxiety.
I pick her up today, play “her” songs on the way home (Taylor Swift). She’s jamming, we’re talking about her day, I’m telling her I’m so proud of her for being a big girl at school. Come home, make dinner while we’re still listening to Taylor Swift. She refuses dinner. Pizza bread, zucchini, and applesauce. Says she doesn’t feel good and wants cheerios. I check her throat, it looks red, maybe she isn’t feeling well, give her cheerios. She requests to watch some TV. We watch “her” show (Scooby Doo). Time for bed. Fights brushing her teeth. Screams bloody murder when I try to brush her hair. I finally lost my shit and yelled at her to knock her shit off before she wakes her brother up. Take her upstairs and finish brushing her hair while she’s SCREAMING.
I apologize for losing my patience with her. Ask her if she wants a hug. She says no and wants me to leave her room. Requests daddy to read to her and stay in her room for bedtime. I leave feeling sad and guilty, and knowing that I get to do it all over again tomorrow starting with a horrific daycare drop off.
This is mostly just a rant but also is she acting this way because we are just spoiling the shit out of her? I only work 3 days a week. The other days we usually have something planned, swim, gymnastics, lots of outside time now that the weather is getting better. I go back and forth between “this is normal” and “this gentle parenting shit is bullshit and my child is spoiled and needs much firmer boundaries”. I never was the type to sleep train or withhold meals if they’re not willing to eat what I made and stuff like that but I’m starting to question my methods.

I (M28) moved in with a couple that are a friend of a friend type deal. They (M28 and F27) own a home together and have 2 other housemates living with them. We are all working professionals. Upon moving in, the dynamic was great. I'm always at work or gone from the home so I rarely interacted with them, rent is always 2 weeks early, I keep the place clean, I don't bring guests over. Additionally, they have 3 cats from the couple and 2 cats from one of the other housemates. I play with the cats and will sometimes clean their kitty litter area if it gets too messy, I don't expect anything out of it I just genuinely like their cats.
When I moved in, part of my lease agreement stated that I could have a dog. Prior to signing the lease and prior to moving in I had voiced that I intended to get to get a dog. Several months later I was out and about and saw some puppies, I went up to view them and one of them was crying and then crawled on me. I picked the puppy up, it stopped crying then peed on me.. I immediately knew that was my dog. I'm not one to get emotional and act on impulse but I knew that was my dog.
I called up my housemates (the owners) and told them that I will likely get a dog by the end of the weekend. I texted so that I could have it in writing that I was going to get a puppy, the puppy was to stay in my room away from the stay in my room to quarantine just in case it was sick. I am going to come home every day for lunch to feed the puppy, play with him, feed him etc. Additionally, I was going to limit the amount of hours I worked to put a lot of time into my pup. I also stated that if it didn't work out, it would hurt my soul but, I could easily re-home my pup and have him stay with my mom.
I f*cked up and ended up getting the dog that day but several hours later, making sure my mom was okay with possibly taking the dog if it didn't work out. I got my dog on a Saturday and that day I bought all his necessities, including a travel bag/crate to put him in so that I could keep him off the ground just in case he was sick with something and I didn't know.
That Sunday, he stayed in my room, and I quarantined myself in there as a precaution. I made an appointment with a Vet for Monday (2 days after I had got him). I took half the day off of work so that I could take him. I spent a LOT of money to get him evaluated and tested for possible transmissible diseases that could get the cats sick. I asked the vet all the right questions in terms of the do's and don'ts about puppy health. Specifically asked, "can my dog get the cats sick?" The Vet said "not unless my dog is sick and the cats get around him or specifically his poo." I followed up with, "Can the cats get my dog sick?" He said, "not unless the puppy is in direct contact with the cat's feces." I continued to quarantine my pup, got him some artificial turf, began to crate train and potty train immediately. I got his results quick, by Wednesday... he came back with a clean bill of health and had an appointment that following Saturday for his first dose of distemper (parvo vaccine). He got his first parvo vaccine and was given his first dose of topical anti-flea medicine. During this visit, I asked the vet two questions 1) Can I start taking my dog out in my backyard to potty train him? 2) Will my dog get the cats sick? Answer: 1) So long as you know that no other dogs have been back there to pee/poo and he's not in direct contact with pee/poo. 2) No, especially now that we know that he is not a carrier of anything.
At this point, in order to potty train my dog, when I catch him squatting in my room, I'm picking him up and taking him to the door, having him ring (touch a bell thing), and taking him to a specific spot in the back yard. When he's done, I carry him back in or stay outside with him to play a little since we're confined to only being in my room and the backyard. After which, I carry him and bring him back in. I'm kind of in my own world as I am really happy but I begin to notice that the owners are being passive aggressive, they aren't asking about the puppy or how he's doing or even saying "hi" to me... hell .. they haven't even made an attempt to meet him. It didn't hit me until I asked one of them if they wanted to meet the puppy and they responded with "nah, I'm good. I'm okay." I was immediately thrown back thinking to myself "who doesn't want to meet a puppy?"
I came home from work one day, put the puppy in his case and took him out to play/poo/pee. I brought him back in and I finally heard the business. The girlfriend was pissed to the point where you can hear that she wanted to cry (that cracked voice sound). "I can't believe you did this, it was impulsive. You got the dog without even asking us. He can get our cats sick. He can bring in fleas, we're very serious about fleas. You did not discuss this with us. We had a similar situation with our last roommate that didn't take care of his cat and neglected it." It went on and on and on. I calmly responded with, "Please do not equate me with another individual. I took my dog to the vet not even 2 days after I got him, since then he's been in my room and in my room only. He already has one of his shots, is on anti flea meds, gets his second dose April 20th and third May 18th." She emotionally goes on and on and effectively makes it sound like I'm incompetent... I'm an electrical engineer... I'm not stupid by any means. I got her questions answered but she still requested that I carry him in his case despite already establishing that he cannot get the cats sick, whatever, I'm still honoring that request.
We are all talking normal again but still, they have not made an attempt to meet the puppy nor ask about my puppy. They just see me taking him out to the backyard or leaving with him. The only puppy related thing they asked is that I spray water over where he pees in the backyard because it can kill the grill. My puppy is 4 - 5 lbs at 10 weeks old, he pees milliliters, we have san augustine grass, this grass is literally unkillable short of not watering it (this request I do not honor as I just found it completely irrational, when he gets bigger... sure.. right now though?).
I feel like I'm walking on egg shells here. I want to move but this place is 25 minutes (without traffic) from my job and is affordable. I have three options 1) Move out further from work and get my own place. 2) Move back in with my mom who lives 55 miles away from my job. 3) Re-home my dog. First two options mean that I will not be able to go home for lunch to take my dog out to pee/poo and play/eat. Third option, is the nuclear one and I don't want to touch it.
I don't know how to go about this, I know I jacked up by impulsively getting the dog but he's here and I'm making it work but at the same time feel like I'm keeping him prisoner in my room.
My housemates are cool, they're well educated and nice people but man, they are passive aggressive as heck. It kills me that they won't even acknowledge my puppy, he's done nothing wrong. I kills me more because he loves people and gets excited to meet new people. When I'm gone at work, he does not cry, bark, etc. He's just chill'n with his music (low volume), chewing on his toys, searching for snacks that I've hid in his play area, sleeping or waiting for me. My housemates legit do not have to do anything, I have not asked anything of them and it kills me that they won't even acknowledge him.
How do I go about this?
tldr: I got a puppy, am a responsible owner but owners are being weird about me having a dog despite it being okay on lease. I don't want to move due to proximity to work.

• This depends on how much time you have to dedicate to re-rolling. In general, all three of the beginner banner characters are great, and you have options of doing shortelonger re-rolls, as per this guide.

• Try to answer with proper letter casing - the answers are case-sensitive.

Q3. When is the daily reset?

• The game resets at 10:00 UTC, please refer to this timer.

Q4. Does pity transfer over to the next banner?

• Yes, pity should transfer over to the next banner of the same type.

Q5. How should I build my team?

• In general, teams consist of a single damage dealer that get supported by support-type characters, but there are many variations. We encourage you to take a look at some of the guides above!

Q6. Can I re-watch the cut-scenes/story?

Can I ask for some advice about something? What would you do if you are in my place. my best friend let's call her Ruby. Ruby moved about two years ago now, she was going to come back and visit for graduation week and wanted the friend group to hang out like we used to, when i told her i didn't believe it would be possible she has continued to push for us to all hang out. I finally told her the reason that it would not work out she completely ignored me. Now the reason the friend group hanging like we used to won't work out is because this ex friend of mine who I'll call cici randomly after a school essay I wrote quite talking to me and started to spread rumors about me the essay was supposed to carry so sort of theme that means somthing to us so I wrote mine on how it can feel to be in the middle of a friend group that is arguing and not knowing what to do. I will copy and past the essay below the rest of the story. After I turn the essay in cici somehow gets a hold of it and spins it to sound like I'm attacking her and im bullying her and so for the month of February everyone ignores me which really hurt because I had no idea why as they just on day started to ignore me it also was my birthday that month and I had no one to share it with. After a while lila,Taylor and Sara realize what happened and apologized for what they did and I quite trying to communicate with cici. After I quite reaching out to her and trying to protect a dying fire my mental health improves to a point where not only I noticed but my teachers noticed also. Back to my earlier topic I told ruby that I refuse to hang out with cici because she has been treating me like shit and my parents won't even let me see/talk to her outside a school sanctioned event because at are very last sleep over before she she started to ignore me almost ended with me In the hospital because her brother threatened me with a knife and their dog attacked me because i used self defense to get the knife from her brother. During this sleepover cici's parents were awar of what happened and didn't tell my mom so after that I wasn't allowed back to their house. Even after all that I still tried to keep that friendship alive if not only because I cared for cici but also for ruby. Still despite all these reasons ruby refused to split her time between us and Is no longer coming. AITAH for refusing to hang out with someone who has betrayed my trust and put me in a dangerous situation just because my friend who moved away wants us to hang out together?
Here is the essay
Just because your friends are friends doesn’t mean they will always understand. A few days after spring break in 8th grade my friend Cici started hanging out with a girl that the rest of our friend group doesn’t like because she is mean and rude. So we told her what we thought of this girl and that she could hang out with her but we didn’t want to be near a person like that, however Cici did not listen and kept inviting her to hang out with us. My other friend Sara was starting to get really upset because this girl was calling her names and bullying her. This same girl had also left intentional bruises on my body because I told her I already had a partner in pe. Finally, after months and months of off and on fighting it was the last day of school. Sara had finally had enough of how the girl had treated us and snapped as she listed off all the hateful and violent things that this girl had done to me, Lila, Ruby some of our other friends. The girl then started to ball saying how all of us are liars and cici shouldn'tlisten to us about anything that we say. During this entire situation I stayed quiet and listened to what the others had to say, because I wanted to say something but didn't know what to say to fix the situation.For weeks after that cici and sara refused to talk to each other, until I finally managed to get them to both apologize. Then for a while after that everything seemed good. A new girl who I will call Tyler moved to town and we basically absorbed her into the friend group. Things were going well until about four weeks into our ninth grade year. Sara started to be exceedingly hostile the rude girl Cici had been hanging out with sense last year, Which caused fighting to break out. So then Sara started to distance herself from us to hang out with a guy who i also used to consider a friend i will call him jem. Now the reasonme and jem are no longer friendsis becausehe told my to off myself several times over the course of about two months.So as they are hanging out jem is also constantly flirting with her, so we make a joke that they were dating. This caused sara to explode at everyone in the group chat. When she texted in the group chat she directed all of the texts about it to Cici and when I confessed that it was me who was made and the joke she proceeded to say that it was Cici’s fault and that it “ IS NOT SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT!! You know what I think of rumors and dating.” We all replied saying it didn't mean for it to be a big deal and we weren't making fun of her that it was only a joke. Sara proceeded to snap back “If we are in relationships with guys, it's not something to joke about. When other people believe it, then it's too much.” So in response Ruby answered with “You literally would make fun of me and my old boyfriend tim back when we were dating.” Then Lila added, “Yeah you make me feel like crap about me and Carl all the time and guess what you coming after Cici being a jerk to Cici for everything saying that everything that everything the "rude girl" knows and does is because of her. There's also the fact that when you tease and make fun of us we are supposed to deal with it, but when we do it to you we are rude horrible people." Sara’s only response to that was “You guys never said that you weren't ok with it. You just need to tell us, and we will stop. No one ever said anything, so we thought it was ok.” I responded with “who is the we in this situation, because I told people to stop when they crossed a boundary and that one of the only people who never listened or apologized for it was lila. I haven't even taken anybody's side throughout this whole situation” after I say this, Sara goes off again. “I'm done ok. Just leave me out of all this. Be your own friend group. I'll be a singular person, and then I won't have to be a burden to anyone. Sorry I was such a bad friend. Also I don't want any pity.” At this point everyone is annoyed and tired of this situation so Ruby speaks up again telling Sara that she is not the main character and to grow up, and that she started it. After this Sara separates herself from us and as a week turns to two weeks then two weeks turns into a month. Between all of the fighting, homework, sports, and everyday stress I start to become irritable and snappy because no matter how much I try to stay neutral to keep peace, Sara and Cici are always fighting. So one time when the fighting over text picks up again I end up snapping at my family and yelling something at them that everyone would probably be happier if i just died. The next day I tried to act like everything was fine. I ended up making it until PE where I ended up breaking down infront of my teacher and skipping school for the rest of the day in the office crying my eyes out to the guidance counselor. I told her everything that happened and that sometimes when I tell my friends things I don't like or feel comfortable with, they sometimes will forget or ignore what i say. Which always makes me angry or sad because I always take the time to understand and respect my friends boundaries. that's when I realized that just because your friends are friends doesn’t mean they will always understand. Despite that fact I will always respect others boundaries even if they don’t respect mine and I will always remind others of my boundaries or distance myself from them. Just because your friends are friends doesn’t mean they will always understand and just because you can/want to say or do something hurtful doesn’t mean that you should. Know where to darw the line.

Ive been looking for a character sheet that will do everything that i want and i think this is as close as im going to get. ive downloaded the sheet and a couple of issues that have come up that im not sure how to work around and was wondering how others would handle it.
First issue is that my current character has 3 classes but 4 different types of hit dice and the sheet only has spots for 3.
Second issue is that i have the vampire transformation from the campaign book and i dont have the faintest idea on how i might implement the extra abilities. the closest thing i can come up with is to make them into feats but as far as i can tell even with the overflow shee you can only have 9 which wouldn't be enough for all of the abilities unlocked by the transformation. ive looked online for what other people have added but the only thing ive seen for the spells, feats, and subclasses but not for the transformations.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

So I figured I'd get on her and speak about what I have learned from testing people and there reactions to the things you do and says,so all my life well since the first time I noticed the reaction of someone from my actions,I have been testing people and seeing how they react to all different things and when they are in different moods,I've set back and stayed quiet and watched the and I have learned how to read everyone, and having this skill is a double edged sword, because there are a lot of people who can't be themselves around me regardless if I tell them I don't care,it's because of the psychological mind block it creates in their minds, when they are trying to play they're made up character they've made themselves out to look like,but when someone knows what they are about, it keeps going through there mind of the fact someone is watching them act and pretend to be this character, so they feel out of place and there could do a lot of different things,but they just need me out of the group,but they have a issue with just asking me to leave, this is their pride and ego narcissist kicking in and they have to do things in ways that make no sense to me and confuse me and make me look like the bad person or anything to cause their fans to dislike me and get me to leave, and this is the ways of a narcissist as most of them are call karans,but not every karan narcissist are the same in there psychological mindset,some karans are created by the effects of the sober mind of a person who are mentally and physically drained in there life and have no patience to anything,but they're stubborn and you can't help them with anything, especially mental strength by meds, you can watch them and see how miserable they are making themselves and everyone in their life,this is because they have a control issue and their way and their minds are so drained and exhausted and they can't think alike with anyone besides those like-minded people,but anyone who suggest meds or anything to help ease there issues of frustration they live with by living with a stubborn mind will be rejected and they will always remain miserable and ridiculous about the way others live there life and what they put in their bodies,lol I'm actually losing my track on this on how best to make people understand this better than I'm doing,lol,but anyway a lot of people need meds and which meds is all based on their actions and feelings with sober mind, everyones brain is created just a little different than the next and some are created way different by undeveloped areas of the brain,while the fetus is growing into the full human,this is a very important time for the mother to be careful and pick and choose how she lives, because of how sensitive the effects of everything may cause issues with the full development of the child's brain and the way there life will become,it's all based on the brain,but nobody will ever be exactly the same in how they think and there personality, so we have all different types of personalities,in the brain your moods you feel are all created by the brain creating different chemicals as we call drugs, so everyone does all different types of drugs everyday created by our brains and those are all the different moods and feels me have,but if your brain doesn't get fully developed to function properly to be able to handle the stress we deal with,as why we have all different medications to help boost that part of the brain and help level the chemicals being created,as Im ADHD and manic bipolar and suffering from bad depression,but it's all up and down and everywhere at times especially without any form of meds and I need strong meds to help level me, but my brain was underdeveloped in a few areas and I just have to help with boosting the dopamine level in my brain and I've been testing all different types of things trying to find a good level of my brains actively so I can function and relax, without any medication I lose all abilities,I can't think or function for weeks and sleep none stop,I lose all control of self control and my brain craves dopamine as it can't create the right amount to my me function normally,that is a effect when I was a fetus and something stopped the development of that area of my brain and few other areas that cause my depression and mood swings,my mother smoked marijuana and cigarettes while pregnant with me,so was this the thing that caused me to have these issues,idk but very possible by the way thc and nicotine effect the brain when in the system, the dopamine slows down and you because lost in confusion while getting hungry and giggly and I feel that way when I'm sober,but with a addition of feeling drunk and not giving a fuck and real social, but it never level and longer I am without the medications,my brain speeds up and I get more and more anxious and need to go go and do something or anything but I have zero interest in anything and I just pace the floor and call everybody and i never get any relief,even when I sleep I don't sleep and I wake up exhausted with my mind racing,I feel like I'm trapped in my misery and can't get out,the medications help relive it all and I feel alive relaxed and comfortable with good motivation to get things done, this is just my example of how the brain needs drugs and why people need meds and truth is everyone has the ability to understand why people do the things they do and why they feel the way they feel,but it's all based on brain development before birth, you can cause the issue with your brain by hitting your head and over dosing yourself with basically anything and hurt the function of your brain. There's people who's will be a totally different person with certain medications,but overall the personality is all based on the brains development before birth. So I've just confused myself from the point of understanding for you by what I am saying,lol I just know I was all over the place writing this, but it is all good to know about regardless and I will be back to write a lot more.🫣😊

I currently (40M) had my ex (35F) completely destroy our relationship while I was working out of town for a few months. This happened a year ago and wish I had these stories as a resource while going through it. I have just started to use Reddit and been reading the experiences of others here and have decided to share my story in hopes it will maybe help others. That way some good may come from some of the worst times of my life.
A little backstory for context for the story and insight to some of the decisions I made. When I turned 30 I left the major city in my Province (it is like a state if you are an American) because buying just a simple house is over a million dollars and I don't make near enough to afford that. My goal was to move to somewhere more rural to buy a house, meet someone, get married and have a child or two. It was my only dream I had and believed I could attain it. I lived out in the bush on my step dads property in a run down trailer I bought so I could save money for the first 3 years. I had my dog but the loneliness of living in the middle of nowhere had got to me. By then I had saved a fair amount of money, so I decided to move into the town. It was nice, it cut my commute down by 40 minutes, I had started to make a few friends and no longer felt so isolated. It was through my friends I met my future ex. Let's call her Kali. She had a long term boyfriend when we first met. Their relationship ended a couple of years after meeting her and we started dating a few months after.
We mostly had a great relationship for the next 4 years. The only thing was it was on again off again. She would dump me after I did anything really special for her for a week and beg me to take her back. It was like clockwork. I used to think it was because of her depression and that she didn't believe she deserved to be truly happy. Nowadays I actually think she might have been cheating the whole time and just felt guilty about it when I did nice stuff for her but I will never know the truth. I don't care what the reality is anymore anyway, Time has a funny way of making stuff like that irrelevant. We did have one bigger break of about 5 months. When it happened I took time off work to travel in my RV the whole time. From spring to summer. I really didn't like the town I lived in and decided to use that time to check out the rest of my Provence to figure out where I wanted to restart my life. She was basically the only reason I stayed for so long. I did have a decent job and family close by but most people I met there were not good people. Lots of drug users, liars, and general scumbags. I had only a few real friends there. After I got back and had decided where I was going to move to she had decided she wanted me back. She begged me to stay and be with her. She told me that she wanted to get serious. We started making real progress about getting married, having kids and looking at buying a house. Everything was coming up Milhouse and I couldn't be happier. So You can probably guess this is when my tale becomes interesting for you and life got real bad for me.
My career is seasonal. I work from spring to the end of fall and can go on unemployment insurance or find work. My dad had asked if I could help on his farm breeding horses that winter when I had still planned to leave my town. I had promised him that I would because it would give me a place to stay before people in my field of work would be looking for employees. This had been agreed upon before me and Kali had got back together. Now I have always been a man of my word. It's something I take great pride in. I have always hated liars. I don't mind a little embellishment to make a story more fun or if two people's stories are different as long as they both believe that was how the events happened. Everyone remembers things slightly off. She was upset that I had intended to keep my word to my dad but I had every second weekend off. The town my dad is in was only a 2 hour drive. So I told her I would be back twice monthly for weekends and that it would only be for 4 months. For the first two months everything seemed fine. During this time I started to look at rings to pop the question and booked an expensive spa for two days in May to propose. There was only one weird thing that happened during the first two months. On one of my visits she confided in me that her brother's wife had cheated on him and that their newborn baby was most likely not his. I was shocked that she not only knew but didn't plan to tell him. She said she didn't want to tell him for fear of breaking up the family. I told her that he has the right to know and that she was being a bad sister by knowing and not telling him. I also informed her if he found out she knew and didn't say anything that he would most likely kick her out of his life. She made me swear I wouldn't tell him. Even though I thought it was wrong I did agree to not say anything. It did get me wondering how she could not only not tell him but stay friends with someone that could do that to her brother. I think that's when I started to question her morals. The third month she asked that I didn't come out because she was "sick". I told her I didn't care, I could still come out and take care of her. She convinced me that she didn't want me to come so I just worked on the farm instead. I switched weekends so I could come out the next instead of in two weekends. The weekend she was "sick" her phone was off the whole time, lasting into the week. She told me her phone went through the washing machine. She was actually on a bender but I didn't learn that till later.
So I head out the following weekend. As soon as I arrive I start getting super sketchy vibes. I was already weirded out about the stuff with her brother and ghosting me for 4 days as we talked/texted multiple times a day normally. At first she acts great to me, cooks me steak and we go out to the bush to have a fire in the snow. At the fire she really started drinking heavily. She then mentions a guy she had been hanging with lets call him Brad. So alarm bells start going through my head. We go back to her house and she keeps drinking. I wanted to keep a clear head so I only had three beers all evening. She put her phone down unlocked because of how drunk she was and I took it to the bathroom with me to look up texts between them. I felt so guilty for doing it at first but once I see the text between the two of them the guilt is replaced with rage. I go to her room to confront her and she breaks down. First, how dare I go through her phone, this never would have happened if I would have broken my promise to my dad, nothing really happened between them, blah, blah, blah. I was furious and drove off. She blows up my phone the whole time. I don't answer. Ten minutes after I left her mother called me. She lives at her moms house. I took the call and her mom said she is freaking out and has harmed herself. I decide to go back and she has a bandage wrapped around her arm. Her mom hid all the sharp objects she could find. She was having a full on panic attack and begs me to not leave. I told her I would stay if she told me the truth. She admits to hooking up with him one time just that last weekend when she asked me not to come out. It kind of matches the messages and I believe her. I stay there till she falls asleep. Once she does I send Brad a text saying that she has a boyfriend with some screen shots of our conversations me and her have had that week. I was about to drive back to the farm when the dude called her phone. I pick up the call and tell him I am her boyfriend. He asks if that was a joke and I assure him it is not. He said he didn't know and actually apologized. I tell him that I'm pissed but if he didn't know I couldn't blame him. I should have asked him more questions but I was tired, not thinking straight and just wanted to go back to the Farm even though it was two am by this point. I get home and crash. Turned my ringer off because I know once she wakes up she will start calling like crazy. After getting the horses in for the night I decided to look at my phone for the first time all day. Around thirty missed calls and a ton of texts. I decide I need another day before I talk to her. Now while the whole day all I can think about is that it was just one time, she seems to be genuinely remorseful about it, how I'm 39 and really want children before I get too old. I took a call from her the next day on Sunday in the morning. She is still wasted. She hadn't stopped drinking since I was there Friday. We talk and I tell her that I am really upset but am willing to give us another chance. I still was in love with her and wanted to have kids, get married and buy a house with her. It was the dream I felt I worked so hard for. She was so happy I took her back and swore to me nothing like this would ever happen again. Basically I was a fool lol.
So I decided on my next set of days off to borrow my stepdads summer home on the river so we can have the place to ourselves. I grab food that she loves so I can cook her dinner and try to make it very romantic. I want to rekindle my love with her so I wanted to go all out on an amazing weekend. I pick her up and she is already a little drunk. I kind of wanted to hang sober but I don't wanna mess up with her so don't say anything thinking we can do a sober day when I take her out to go shopping and dinner the next day. When we get there she gets hammered. Kali had brought a big of bottle fireball on top of a bunch of white claws. I again didn't really drink that night. Once she was drunk and tired I carried her to the bed. As Kali is in my arms she looks up at me and says in slurred words "I don't know why you even felt threatened by Joe" I ask "what did you just say?". "I don't know why you even felt threatened by Brad" she replied. I put her to bed and my mind starts racing. Now her ex before me has a really close name to the one she said first but I also know she has a friend named Joe I only met a couple of times. They were not close or even hung out but were more like acquaintances. I go in her purse to look at her phone again but the battery is dead and I can't find her charger. I have an Iphone so I can't charge it up to look. I didn't sleep that well that night with everything going on in my head. I woke up at 6 am to her being very loud on the phone. I went out to the living room and she had drank all the booze left over from the night before. I ask her who she was on the phone with and she tells me an uber to leave. I ask why is she going to leave? Kali tells me she is upset that I tried to get into her phone. Guess I didn't put it back in her purse. Must have been out of sorts and forgot. I tell her I can drive her once I go to the washroom and get some clothes on. I go to do that, come out of the washroom to see Kali has already left. She was so drunk that she had left half her stuff behind. I decided to have breakfast before bringing her stuff to her house. After breakfast I packed her stuff into my SUV and noticed it had snowed that night. I could see her footprints out into the driveway. While Dropping off her stuff I noticed there were no footprints leading to her house, so I tried calling Kali. No answer. I left her stuff in the snow and decided to drive by her brothers and sisters house to see if there were footprints going into any of their houses but there were none. I sent her a nasty text about knowing she didn't go home, to go be with Brad or Joe or whoever and never call me again. It was a lot more profane than that but that's the gist of it. Cleaned up the house my stepdad lent me and back off to the farm yet again. The next day she blows up my phone and again I wait another day to talk to her. She tells me that she went home but I know that can't be true from the snow, but she says I must have been mistaken. She apologizes for getting drunk and leavening and that she is going to stop drinking after her birthday in two weeks. She has rented a hotel in the town I'm in for her birthday and wants to spend it with me. I agree just because I have to know the truth and want to look at her phone to make sure I am not crazy. She had gaslit me to the point I was questioning what I saw with my own eyes. A couple of days later I decided to send Joe a message on Facebook to see if he would give me the truth. I get a text from her telling me not to bug her friend and that she is embarrassed. I apologize and tell her I am excited about her birthday soon.
The weekend of her birthday comes so I go to meet her at the hotel. She brought her sister and other friend along. It actually is a really fun time. The girls did coke the first night into the second evening. I don't really like it but I figured she can let loose especially if she is going to stop drinking after her birthday. I also knew by Saturday night that they would all crash hard so it would give me time to look at her phone so I could know the truth. As I mentioned the weekend was really fun so I felt bad about going into her phone yet again. I did it anyway and my whole world came crashing down. Now I figured that I would maybe see Brad or Joe texts and Facebook messages. Seemed like Brad was done but Joe and her were totally hooking up. I also found out that she had slept with 3 other guys. I also saw she was using coke all the time now. She did it maybe three times a year when we dated but now it was every weekend. It looked like she started using regularly right before I left for the farm. Joe helped get it for her too, out of all the guys he was the one she hung with the most. Turns out he was also a meth head who was trying to quit for her. She also went to his house the morning she left the other weekend to hook up and buy coke. I was floored. I just staired and took screen shots till the early morning. I decided I wasn't just going to dump her but I wanted to ruin her life not realizing she was already doing that all by herself but hindsight is 20 20. So I started coming up with a plan of what I was going to do. I woke up the next morning and acted like everything was fine and went back to the farm. I was still so upset and didn't want to harm myself or others so had a family friend take my firearms for a while. I don't think I would have used them on myself or others but I knew I wasn't thinking clearly and didn't want them in my house while I was like that.
I didn't have to see her till I moved back because the next set I had off I had tickets for a concert in the city I used to live in. During that time all I thought about was how I was going to do something to ruin her life. I came up with some small things but my main plan was to pretend like we were fine and ghost her when my contract was up with my boss next winter. I had promised him another year after kali and I had gotten back together. Just typing it out makes me look back and cringe that I was so crazy. When I went to the city for the concert I told my best friend, my brother and a few others my plan. No one liked it and thought I should just go no contact, cut her straight out of my life. That probably was the smart thing to do but emotion was clouding my judgement. Also you all would get this story. They even informed me that because I would be lying to her, that I would be compromising my morals and turning into a worse person they didn't recognize. I either didn't see it that way or care. I have a hard time recalling what my brain was thinking during that time. All seems like a haze now that it's been a year. I think I was really upset that my dream and all I had worked for was ruined. A friend later said I may have been in love with the dream and not her. Maybe that's the reason I kept up all this insanity.
My time on the farm had come to an end and I was moving back to the town me and my ex lived in. I was set with my plan, excited to implement it and have what I considered just. But you know what they say of the best laid plans. My ex wanted to go to hang at her brothers as a welcome home party. I went but ended up drinking. Heavily drinking, to the point of black out. I don't remember much from that night but have had it recounted for me. I woke up in the drunk tank. Guess I couldn't lie and play it cool then huh? The story I was told later is, while at her brothers I had gotten drunk and loud. Kept waking up the new baby and we were asked to leave. So we caught a cab and I confronted her in the cab but all I could do was call her a lying, cheating, whore on repeat. She got upset and ran into the house locking me out. I had a bunch of my stuff in her house so I went to the door and demanded she let me in. All the while still only referring to her as the aforementioned 3 words. She told me to leave but my jacket and wallet were inside. It was below freezing at night still and probably wouldn't have made it home in the state I was in. I then kicked in her door to keep calling her LCW and grab my stuff. She was on the phone to the police, so I was taken away by them. One of the lowest points in my life. It still brings me so much shame to this day but it is what happened and I am not going to sugar coat it. I never laid a finger on her and I am so happy that I hadn't. Laying hands on women in that way is one of the scummiest things a man can do. I had to go back to her house once they let me out because my stuff was still there. I apologized to her mom who had been at her boyfriends that evening promising to repair the door for her. Kali begged me to talk to her and like an idiot I didn't just leave. I told her I saw everything and she only admitted to Brad and Joe. Lying about them and the others the whole time. Even when I brought up the screen shots she still couldn't come clean. I left just shaking my head. There is still a ton to this story but this is long enough. I could do a part 2 if there is interest. Catching you folks up to where I am now and the messed up things that happened in between.

Okay, so I feel like this is going to be a hot take but I’ll clarify something first:
I was a 2002 baby, I played the COD games as they came out. Those games were my childhood. I started with COD3, then WaW, then MW, MW2, BO, then MW3. I’m about as biased as you can get.
And you know what?
The reboot games might just be a little bit better.
Now let me stop you before you angrily mash your keyboard saying “but it’s just full price DLC”.
I understand that each game just haphazardly “ended”. Nothing was wrapped up besides the sequel tease at the end of MW, but the reasons why I like the reboot are as follows:

1. I think that the nods to the original games were really nice as a callback and they acknowledged the series’s roots. Not every remake acknowledges the masterpiece that made it possible, so I’m happy to see how they’ve adapted the base story. It’s also interesting to see some familiar set pieces in a Modern Engine, rather than just ripping the story apart and remaking it.
   
2. I think the implementation of the Middle East worked well, and allowed the introduction of Farah, a welcome and fun addition to the cast. It served a purpose and wasn’t just shoehorned in for diversity’s sake, it actually fed into the story all the way through to MW3.
   
3. TF141 felt a lot more like a group of comrades that have been through a lot of shit together. MW2 (2009) did a good job of showing that the people selected for 141 were “the best of the best”, but I think the actual interactions between the members of 141 left so much to be desired: Ghost was just there to be “cool” and didn’t really have much development, Soap was the main character for most of it and Price was just kinda a generic grouchy British man in a boonie hat. I felt much more inclined to connect with the characters in the new games whereas the old games had much more of a focus on the plot i.e. Makarov running circles around the player, who feels helpless because of it.
   
4. The disturbing content was genuinely disturbing. The ahem plane scene from MW3 and the scene in the base with the ahem deodorant were actually pretty disturbing. The MW scene in Piccadilly also comes to mind. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of stuff like that in the originals (i.e. No Russian and MW3’s London scene) but it just felt really well executed in the remakes.
   

I feel like I’m droning on a bit, so I’ll compress my last few points:
The residential night time raids added so much realism to the story, the open combat missions were great too, especially Gaz’s mission in the apartment complex.
But finally, the last thing I think is important to note:
These games are a lot more grounded, and many people liked the older COD campaigns because of how outlandish and “action movie-esque” they were. For Christ’s sake, the end of MW3 was incredibly badass, with the Jug suits and hanging Makarov. There will always be a special place in my heart for the old games, but I feel that the new games are severely underrated.
Maybe people will begin to properly appreciate the games once they release a bundle with the full story at a reasonable price point, but as somebody who has bought and played all three, I feel that the story and the multiplayer experience has been worth the money so far (disregarding the abrupt ending of MW3).

Platforms: Game Boy Advanced/DS/DSi
Genre: Action, sidescroller, robot/mech/creature(?)
Estimated year of release: 2006-2012 (roughly)
Graphics/art style: 2D/pixelated side scroller. Very grey besides main character. The closest game style I can think of is Mega Man ZX in character size and pixel style, but the character's designs themselves don't look similar. The game felt made for an older audience, as in not a game like Kid Chameleon that has a "cuter" artstyle? Kind of hard to explain but it didn't have that kind of look to it

Notable characters: a main character (almost positive NOT a human or not seeable as one) that has possibly three forms that changes I believe through item pickup maybe? One form that was slimmer in design had a whip/tendril for going over obstacles, another one was clunkier and more square, can't remember the rest (I at least believe there were three). I swear the colors were like light pink, green, and possibly blue? A game called Metal Mutant has a VERY similar character function as to how I remember the character in my game, I had to check and see if there was another in the series on handheld because it fits really close to my description. If Metal Mutant looked a lot more like Mega Man ZX in scale and sprite size and released past 2006 it would be the game I'm thinking of which is very confusing

Notable gameplay mechanics: Character that changes between different types depending on needed situation, such as a whip for obstacles, or a tankier body for needed defense. I can't remember a single enemy which is annoying, but I still believe it was somewhat of an action game like the Mega Man series (don't think its that franchise tho, not from what I could find)
Other details (IMPORTANT): Is not these previously guessed titles: A Boy and his Blob / Metal Mutant (VERY similar tho) / Castlevania III / Monster Tale DS / Shantae series / Kid Chameleon / Gunstar Super Heroes / Robots for GBA / Mega Man ZX or Advent / Act-Fancer: Cybernetick Hyper Weapon
This is game is so fuzzy in my memory and has always been one I've wanted to remember but just can't rack my brain on it man. I can't remember which platform I had it on specifically but it was a handheld Nintendo game for sure. I don't remember either whether the main character was a creature or a robot, just that it would change in design and function between possibly three different iterations. The game was very grey in level design (at least from the chunk I can remember) but the character was always a specific base color possibly along with a meter for the current form

I have a Shar Pei mix who has one awful experience at a groomers and refuses to let anyone touch his paws to trim them without a fight. I’ve tried every type of medication to calm him down but he fights through it as soon as he gets there. He has extremely brittle nails that will crack at the quick so I really like to keep them as short as possible but I feel like it genuinely cannot be done without sedation.
Like yes he can be muzzled and restrained but I always feel bad for the people that have to trim them because I can imagine working with a difficult dog isn’t the most fun. I would do it myself but I can never get them as short as the groomers can.
Is there any advice on how to find a groomer who will be willing to work with him and/or approach a groomer about his situation? I’m very big on my dogs never being a hinderance to other people so dropping him off makes me feel so awful. I haven’t had his nails trimmed since he had to be put under for his dental cleaning because of it.
Any help or advice would’ve be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, A very remorseful dog mom 😅
Edit: At his few first trips for his nails he was absolutely amazing. They had someone different do his trim since the original left and I could hear him barking and getting audibly upset with the groomer so I went back in and ended up taking him home and paying for the service even if it wasn’t complete.

I think the update was called ascension or something where they overalled how you earned everything, reset your character, took away your level and gave you dog shit items. the only people this benifited was ppl who play this game very very often and streamers. before that update, the game was a fun thing to do with friends whenever, now you need to grind the game like a 9-5 to actually have the shit we had since the game came out like 3 years ago

So with SF6 introducing a bunch of new characters with a portion of them being somewhat successostudents of others. Like Luke, Lily and even Kimberly. And the whole story being John World Tour being tutored by these characters. I was thinking that we can see other newcomers characters down the line that are successors of others and carry similar movesets.
That said who do you think makes sense to introduce. I have a few ideas.
Vega: Since the other members of Shadaloo has relations with some relatively newcomers that have their fighting styles being based on them. (Ed=Balrog, F.A.N.G=A.K.I Arguably J.P.=M.Bison) Only one left out is Sagat but I don't think he counts. So I think it'd be neat if we go full circle and create a new generation of Shadaloo members. With a new Spanish Ninja.
But I don't think there's anyone in Vega's story set up to do that. I also don't think he'd be a guy to train an apprentice even more so than Balrog. But I'm sure we can think of something.
Final Fight: I also had the idea of Jessica Haggar would come back and have a moves that represents all of Final Fight's playable characters Cody, Guy, Haggar. Like she was trained at them from some point before SF6. Especially since it's insinuated that Haggar passed she could possibly come back to further his legacy..... Ass-Kicking wrestling-wise not Mayor-wise Cody's got that filled out.
But Kimberly is also a student of Guy's and if we're gonna simple it down to making a successor for one character who doesn't have one than Jessica can just have Mike's moves.. or Cody.
Speaking of Cody there's his assistant Marlowe. Would be interesting if she knew how to fight. I have an idea where she would fight with skill and focus but would show hints of dirty brawler like Cody like he's rubbing off on her.
Dan: Now with Dan being somewhat..... take more seriously. Somewhat. I was thinking it'd be interesting to have a new character put a spin on the Saikyo style/being a different type of "joke character"

Platform(s): PC
Genre: Turn-based grand war strategy, where you commanded units and armies.
Estimated year of release: Late 1990s to early 2000s, give or take. Windows 98 era.
Graphics/art style: Smallish sprites, hex grid with terrain elevation, perhaps isometric but don't remember. Realistic style, a lot of green (grass) and hills. You could scroll around the map like an RTS or Civ game, I think.
Notable characters: Historical Army vs army. I think it took place in Europe? Or possibly America, but I think Europe.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Lots of granularity in unit types, sizes, etc. like a grand strategy simulation.
The game focused a bit on positioning, getting range by getting on hills, controlling good terrain.
Other details:
No castles. No tanks. The time period was more colonial or Napoleonic. I don't remember if there were muskets.
I think there was a General who buffed units around it? Or maybe the objective was to kill the opponent's General. That's also possible.
You could play it hotseat multiplayer.
The scale was more like Age of Empires than Civ - played at the level of hills and terrain, rather than the scale of regions and countries. There was focus on winning battles like a wargame. Terrain was a big factor.
I think the edge of the map was just solid blue?
I think the only way to get more units was to call for reinforcements. I forget how that works, but there was no resource management that I can remember.
You started a scenario with your army, and that was what you got. You didn't build more, from what I remember. The match started with your army, your opponent's army, and that's all the units other than maybe a reinforcement mechanic.
I remember it took itself fairly seriously, with fairly in-depth simulation of battles.
I remember it being daunting at the time, but also intriguing because I've never played a game quite like this before.

tldr, i don't know if i like men because i find THEM attractive, or if i'm attracted to how much easier it would be where i live and feel content with avoiding confrontation, but there's other factors at play as well
i've never really had to question my attraction towards women since discovering i was queer. the road to figuring it out was far from linear, but once i made that realization, i never second guessed it or felt like a faker. whenever i find myself with feelings for a woman, my only question is whether it would be worth pursuing further or if "she totally flirted with me" is just projecting because that's what i want her to be doing
i also have OCD and very likely autism (if i could pursue a diagnosis without discrimination following, i absolutely would) so i've had trouble discerning between different types of relationships for some time now, pretty much my entire life. usually, my attractions towards men are on those who either express an interest in me first (or that happens to be what i perceive), or they treat me well and objectively would be a healthy candidate for a partner. along with difficulty knowing whether i'm feeling platonically or romantically interested, the most difficult part for me is recognizing whether i'm feeling this attraction because it's what i truly want for myself, or if it's because it's "easier" and i'm just happy to avoid confrontation and that i can say "see, look, i do like men!" since most of my family is incredibly queerphobic, and i live in a somewhat religious area of the south (while not being religious myself). and i do recognize that my whole life i've very much so been a people pleaser, and spent some years forcing myself to be straight, even after realizing i was queer, which is part of why i'm having so much trouble now.
i've attempted mentally putting myself into romantically intimate situations with men to determine if i would enjoy it, but i always feel completely neutral because i know it's not real. i've always found it difficult to place myself in a situation that i know isn't real, especially if i haven't actually been in it myself; deaths in movies or series never bothered me until my grandfather passed, and while i may get a bit choked up now, it never has a lasting effect on me since i realize that it's fiction and i can still consume content relating to the character or keep up with the actor. i have the same problem imagining myself in these scenarios with women, who i have dated and know for certain i am interested in; i understand that it's not real, so the appeal is lost on me. i also know for certain that i'm entirely ace, so any kind of sexual intimacy either leaves me disinterested or actively grossed out, regardless of gender.
i've also tried looking at other resources online, like hearing stories from other sapphics who were intensely questioning at one point, but there's not been any clarity from them. i've always been more introverted, so actively looking around to meet people i don't already know can become very draining very quickly, but since this kind of socialization is often a key part of other people's stories, i can't relate and have trouble connecting with anything else they say from that point on, which makes it difficult to find parts of their story i relate to enough to be able to come to a conclusion. i also know that every individual experience with being lesbian, bi+, or any queer ID is different from person to person, and i used to struggle with mirroring the people i was with as a form of masking so i feel like i sit at the opposite end of that spectrum now, actively distancing myself from random stories online that i might otherwise relate to out of fear of pretty much identically starting to mimic them.
i'm not looking for someone to give me the answer directly, moreso maybe some advice or tips on how i can see the difference between genuine attraction and appreciating the convenience of it for myself? i would have no issues with being either lesbian or omni/bi+, i'm entirely comfortable with my attraction to women and have never had any issues with the mspec community. i also know i don't need to find the answers right away, but after some years of constant back-and-forth it's only become increasingly uncomfortable to view myself as a complete stranger. it feels like there's a core part of me missing, and until i have it figured out, i just don't feel wholly connected with myself. throw the gender dysphoria into the mix and holy moly i am not having a great time
if anyone knows some steps i'd be able to take to figure out if i like men because i find them attractive, or if i like men because it's easier where i live, that would be much appreciated

I don't quite understand how black is constantly getting overpowered cards with overpowered effects. Now yes, black color revolves around cost manipulation, trash manipulation, and K.O effects, sure. But why are they constantly getting cards that can do both, even all three things at the same time, for the same cost, if not even higher value than every other deck. For example.

• Gecko Moria: 8 Cost 8000 Power - Does not require [Thriller Bark Pirates] or [Gecko Moria] as leader to activate the effect. On play effect does not require 4-cost and 2-cost that are resurrected to be [Thriller Bark Pirates]. Instant auto-include into any black deck. This card needs to be type-locked or banned.
• Borsalino: 4 Cost 5000 Power +1000 Power on opponents turn - Cannot be K.O'd by effects. Instant auto-include into any black deck, Now this is just a good card in itself, I would not directly classify it as a broken or overpowered card, but it is surrounded by all of the other broken cards in black, so it feels busted in combination with Gecko Moria, etc.
• Sabo - 5 Cost 6000 Power - Entire board cannot be K.O'd by effects + a Draw 2 Trash 2. It blankets entire board with effect, instead of maybe choosing 1 or 2 other characters to grant the effect for. Instant auto-include in black.
• Rob Lucci - 4 Cost 6000 - K.O 2 enemy characters. Instant auto-include in any black deck.
• Ice Age - 1 Cost Event- Reduce 1 opponents character by -5 to their cost. Instant auto-include in any black deck. Can easily K.O big boss monsters very effeciently. You can K.O One 8 cost character and one 7 cost character card with, [Rob Lucci] Leader Ability, 2 [Ice ages], and [Rob Lucci] card for 6 mana. Destroying entire enemy board while also building your own board, and for cheaper.

Now there are many other cards that can be listed within this list and there are many that I'm forgetting or just not including because I am tired and do not want to write an essay about why black feels so oppressive to play against.
Let me give you a quick comparison of the only other color with heavy removal - the color Blue. Now yes, these removal options from blue are slighting different as they are bottom decking instead of K.Oing it can go over the top of [Cannot be K.O'd] effects and [On K.O] effects. However, [Gravity Blade Raging Tiger] 7 cost event that bottom decks 2 cost 6 or less characters. For 7 mana, WITHOUT building your own board, so you are taking a whole turn to remove the opponents character cards while creating no bodies on board. Black can remove 2 characters for way cheaper and establish at least 3 bodies on board. It is crazy, this color constantly getting crazy support, while other colors are hung to dry. Sure its the nature of this black color but having this much support with cards that can do both cost reduction and K.O effects, through OnPlay and WhenAttack, with a counter and for 3 mana? Cough cough EB01 [Brook].

I posted a couple weeks ago that I made a Linktree (linktr.ee/buymasks) for finding lower-cost respirator masks in the US. I’ve made a lot of changes to it since first posting, and would love feedback on how to make it better.
Some of my main questions (but any/all feedback welcome!): - Are there too many links, or is it better for people to have a lot of options? - Do the emoji descriptors at the top make sense? (Caveat: There’s a 35-character limit on that type of header; what I have now is 34 because emoji count as 2) - Is there anything I should do to improve the “QUICK INFO” document at the top?
A general caveat: I can only realistically have 6 sections for logistical reasons. I could replace the “other resources” section with another if there was one y’all thought was especially important.

Here is a quick compilation of recent Hinge changes and issues.
Top Photo
Hinge is rolling out the Top Photo feature to various locations. Note that if the Top Photo option is available for you, it is toggled on by default. You won't notice the photos shuffling when you view your own profile in the edit section. When you see the same people's profile on discover shuffling their photos constantly, it's because of Top Photo
Hinge however does not state whether or not Top Photo also applies to profiles on your Likes and Match lists. As far as I can tell, Top Photo does not apply to profiles on those lists.
Written Prompts character limit bug
There is a bug where you can't write anymore words in the written prompts without hitting the character limit. The simple work around is to write your prompts in a notes app on your phone, then copy and paste it onto Hinge. If you notice whatever you wrote is cut off by Hinge, it means your written prompt is too long and hit the character limit.
"Nearby" option removed from discover
On the latest UI update, Hinge removed the "Nearby" filter option (as well as the "Compatible" option), with only "Active today" and "New here" available. "Compatible" is now the default option when nothing is chosen. Note, this is only applicable to people with Hinge+ or X.
Hinge Support confirmed that the "Nearby" option was removed on purpose as they are testing this new UI. The important word here is that this is a supposedly a test, so there could be a possibility that Hinge could reverse the change. Hinge wants people to instead have quicker access to preferences in order to filter profiles better. (The three options given are Age, Height, and Dating Intentions.) If you want to see profiles closer to you, Hinge says to manually update the distance preference.
If you liked the "Nearby" option and don't like the fact Hinge removed this option, I suggest filing a support ticket and give them this feedback.
Hidden Words
Hinge added the Hidden Words feature back in April. It seems however, on social media many many people are misinformed as to how this feature actually works.
Hidden Words does not filter out profiles on discover or likes without comments. All it does is filter out specific words if someone sends a comment with their like/rose that contain those words. For example: if you added "pineapple on pizza", it won't filter out any profiles with those words included. Only if someone sent a like that included the comment 'pineapple on pizza" will the Hidden Words filter block that profile from showing up on your Likes list and notifications and instead will move it onto the Hidden Likes list.
So don't bother adding all the cliches you hate seeing on Hinge since it won't do anything to prevent you from seeing them unless they happen to send a comment including those specific phrases. You may instead inadvertently block a well meaning profile who happened to said the wrong words in their comments.
Relationship Type filter
Don't forget that there's a Relationship Type filter now available for most users, and more importantly it is a FREE filter. If you don't want any non-monogamy/poly/ENM people, or only want to seek those types, you can filter them now.

One huge problem I've been finding in a lot of fics, including the current one I'm reading (The Type Specialist) is how inconsistent the powerscaling is. I like the type specialist, but it seems like after months and months of dedicating training, the character still goes 1 to 1 (1 pokemon faints and the other either faints as well or goes down as soon as the next opponent comes out) with fainted pokemon and whoever they're battling, often just ekking out a win. I just read chapter 107 of the type specialist and Alex lost to Paul. After fighting big bads of team magma and flare, all the intense training they've been doing, and fighting gym leaders personal teams, they lost to paul of all people. And I've seen it in a lot of other fics. Is this a common issue or am i just reading the wrong material?
I like how Traveler portrays masters and their skill level, i just wish that kind of portrayal was more consistent across the fanfic community. I don't expect trainers to always win, but if months of training in the fic leads you to be still drawing even right where you were before, ypu might need to reevaluate how you write your battles. (No hate is meant for Incarnated whisp in this rant, i like The type specialist overall, just frustrated with some aspects of it.)

I really don't care what the consensus on reddit is about the MiG-23 M variants. The jet is utter dog shit where it is being constantly up tiered to fight F16s, F15s etc. The missiles RARELY come close to hitting due to their affinity for prioritizing flares that weren't even dispensed from the locked on air craft, rather than its hot exhaust of its afterburner.
So many of you here say that its a skill issue when its not. I have played this Vehicle flanking and popping up, flanking while staying low and fast, going straight in and low, and going strait in high up and there is nothing you can do. I'd rather take the fucking chaika out in 11.3 BR because at least i could force an over shoot with it. Periodically you CAN get a kill or two with the R24Ts, but that's after your whole team is dead and their headed back to base to rearm.
the usual match goes like this: You push in, try and catch the enemy team off guard (you cant because there's a huge fucking red icon that indicates player name and vehicle type) and you fire a missile or two at an unsuspecting (to you) jet. That jet randomly flares just to be safe (pre flare) and the missile goes stupid. THEN a mirage or f16 or f15 or MiG 29 comes in to sweep you up because you were proxy spotted. You're neither faster in top speed or acceleration and their gaining on you. you die.
There's two fixes that can be made without changing the BR of the MiG 23 itself:
1) Eliminate or reduce the range of the red HUD markers to actually make you use your search radar. I can see some issues in match length existing due to a players hiding or just not being found. This could be fixed by adding an automatic "blind Hunt" activation after 3 or how ever many minutes of inactivity from the losing side.
2) Eliminate the on screen Missile Diamonds since a passive lock and track is the entire point of extended range IR missiles. I see no issues here except for people that want their hand held and can't / won't acknowledge the purpose of IR missiles
You shouldn't have to play Sim battles to use your jet the way its suppose to be implemented, and RB shouldn't hold your hand THAT much. I've always enjoyed the third person gameplay, but too much HUD ruins the employment of tactics, and weaponry.
