2024.05.15 00:15 ko_harui_ii Do I have a chance in STEM SHS if my grades during 10th grade are bad?
This is my first time posting in reddit, I really don't know who to talk to about this because I'm scared of being told to that Im dramatic lmao. I was mainly going to ask for advice but I feel like I'd rant more than actually ask for help haha. My grammar is bad btw. (edit : after I finished writing this, I was right that I ended up ranting instead lol. don't mind me, I feel like I just needed to get this off my chest and my notes doesnt really help with it)
So a little background about me. I'm someone who had been considered "gifted" ever since I was young. According to my teachers, I tend to learn quicker than my peers and requires little to no effort in doing so. I also have a weird way of doing math which is basically just shortcuts but the end result is always right anyway so my teacher would just end up accepting it but warns me to use proper formula during exams. I also like watching those what if science vids, so my mind is really packed with useless stocked knowledge that comes handy when the lesson is somehow related to the things I know. Overall, I'm considered smart for basically not trying at all in school. It changed during 6th grade though, I experienced many deaths among loved ones during those year and it really messed up my health. It also doesn't help that for some reason my father blamed me for my younger sister's death, atleast that's how I remember it. I became top student to "alitaptap" real quick. It really damaged my pride yk lmao, I won't deny that I took pride on how I'm smarter than my peers at class (I know there are other people more smarter than me but in my class, I know that most of them are slow) I think it's the way I'm raised but the fact that Im aware of it, means that I should work on my attitude and all.
Anyways, I tried my best to regain myself in highschool, it all went well til 10th grade which is the current grade I'm in. It feels like everytime I'm close to graduation, shits always happen to me, I dont know if this is some kind of obstacle that I need to tackle but it really frustrates me and I know it's a me problem but I can't help but feel unmotivated. My parents seperated at the start od 10th grade. I had no time to process things and I have to look after my younger siblings too cause both of my parents refuse to be in the same room together which makes it harder for us, their kids. I wasn't in honor students at 3rd quarter and I'm already scared for 4th quarter. I feel like I won't make it and I'm self pitying myself again. I really wanted to be in STEM and I passed my entrance exam to a school I wanted, but I'm already overthinking that I would not be accepted because of my low grades in my last year of highschool.
I just want to cry at this point but that wont help with anything. I really hate myself for being easily affected ; so when my mom and dad would fight, I will lose motivation in whatever I'm doing and it can go on for days. I shouldve just stayed at grandma's during my 10th grade to ensure that I wont be bothered at all but I dont want to leave my siblings in that situation alone. I really feel shitty and like, being the first born, it feels like theres alot of pressure. My mom kept on reminding me too what happened to my aunt (my aunt is the first born among 5 siblings, really smart but ended up the worst during her highschool and college years because of family circumstances)
It wouldve been more comforting to cry this all out to my friends but I don't want to traumadump on them or smt, especially since one of my friends are in honors too and know my situation. I dont want her to feel guilty when its not really her business and frankly, she wont be able to help me since I refuse to cheat my way though homeworks and quizzes.

2024.05.15 00:11 The_Lucinator A quick primer on stealth
| Boo I have seen a lot of people both here on reddit and on discord with questions on stealth or misconceptions on it. As a Docent and historian at the worlds largest private aerospace museum which has a lot of documentation on the subject and a few actual stealth aircraft, which helps in understanding this topic at a deeper level than most. This is meant to be a basic overview of how reduced Radar Cross Section, (RCS) is achieved. I’m not gonna go into detail about other features that matter in stealth such as Infrared signature reduction, or electromagnetic signature reduction both of which are just as critical to a proper stealth design. If anyone wants to do some light reading on the subject I recommend Stealth by Doug Richardson, or Stealth Aircraft by Bill Sweetman. Both can provide a basic overview of the technical aspects of RCS. If you have a Aviation Week subscription they did a couple of great primer articles on this a few years ago and are also worth reading. There are also numerous academic papers on this topic that can be found if you want something with a bit more meat on the bones. What will follow is even further simplified from those books but should at least be more accessible and easy to understand. The first thing I want to point out is how Radar actually works as this is something that a lot of people get wrong, and it can lead to many mistaken beliefs about how stealth works. People often think of a radar return as light reflecting off a object, and while in layman's terms this explanation suffices the actual quantum mechanisms are a bit more complicated and while the description is fine for basic knowledge knowing how it works at the smallest of scales is critical for getting your RCS to actually work. When Radar strikes a object it doesn't just bounce off, what actually happens is that the radar wave induces a current in the material it hits, this then creates waves of the same magnitude as the incoming waves. It is this re-emitted energy that is what the radar receiver actually pics up. The direction of emission is also related to the direction of the incoming energy. One important factor in this is that object with a length/diameter about one half the wavelength will create a much stronger return. This is why some objects are much more radar reflective than others. However this isn't the only thing the energy can do. Sometimes the energy is absorbed by the material struck, this is your standard Radar Absorbing Material (RAM). Another interesting feature of radar is scattering and wave travel. The energy does not have to be emitted right away, it can travel along the object it hits before being re-emitted. Sharp boundaries are more likely to emit this radiation than smooth rounded shapes. This is further compounded by scattering which is how the magnitude of the return varies by the relationship of the wavelength to the size of the object. When they are about the same size (note this means the area the wave can travel not the size of the whole plane) you get what is called resonance which greatly increases the return of the object. When the wavelength is smaller than the object then it starts to treat smaller and smaller sections independently of each other as the object. This is important and will be discussed later. The goal of RCS takes all of these considerations and more into the equation as some objects are also transparent to radar waves and others translucent. Furthermore the ability of a material to conduct electricity is important because this can help the waves propagate further before emitting. While on the surface this may seem bad and in some cases it is, it also allows for better control of where the emissions come from. Move over the angle of the surface being emitted dictates the strength of the signal and how it changes with direction, think this like a funhouse mirror, the cone/dome of radar can be emitted in a very different direction than it came from. This is not a easy thing to calculate and is a reason that early stealth aircraft were faceted as with the sharp lines were easier to predict where and in what direction the return waves would propagate. This has ironically led to many people thinking that faceted shapes are better for RCS, when in truth the opposite is true, however as stated earlier it is easier to model. This is why flat surfaces such as single vertical tail fins, and turbine blades are such big reflectors. The goal of any RCS is to reduce the amount of stuff making its way back to the emitting aircraft and being able to know exactly how the waves will travel is paramount to a successful RCS design. To complicate matters further as I mentioned earlier when a wavelength is smaller than the object you are trying to detect than it will treat different parts of the aircraft separately however this can be modified by increasing the distance the wave can travel in a object. This is where the most critical part of any proper RCS effort comes into play. This is one of tolerances. See gaps are the ultimate emitter of waves since they have sharp edges, and break the electrical current flowing through the material thus drastically increasing the chance of emission. This is by far the largest contributor to RCS. It has also proved the bane of countries trying to develop stealth since it is very hard to have manufacturers that can achieve such tight tolerances and it isn't something you can just steal like the shape or RAM materials. Since a plane needs to have at least some moving parts being able to make them close to one another is paramount, having seems be almost non existent on a moving part is very hard. Most stealth aircraft require special tape to bridge the gaps especially the ones between materials with different electrical properties like those around the cockpit. This tape had to be applied every mission perfectly and was (and to some degree still is) the part that added the most to the Maintenance of aircraft like the F-117 and B-2. You can see a good example of this on the photo below of the TACIT BLUE aircraft which was one of the first stealth aircraft. those dark area's around any hatches is the tape As you probably well know part what is important is how the aircraft is structured and shaped, What isn't talked about is that most shapes that direct radar waves in a specific direction aren't the most conducive to good aerodynamics, thankfully for early stealth pioneers there are many materials that are very transparent to radar (such as the dome over most maritime radars). These materials can be used to smooth out the airflow and create a shape conducive to good flying characteristics (or even the ability to fly at all). Below is a good example of a photo showing the intricate sub surfaces on a aircraft control surface. You will notice that the underlying sawtooth shape would probably not be very aerodynamic but with the radar transparent leading edge the surface smooths out into the familiar shape you can recognize. A great example of how the edges are smoothed over to create a clean wing Another part that needs to be considered is that there are a wide range of radar wavelengths that can be used. What is a good RCS shape to one wavelength might matter a lot less to another frequency. This is why most broadband stealth designs are created and coated with materials the work to harmonize as many different wavelengths of radar as possible into a more cohesive waveform. This is mostly seen in third and fourth generation designs like the F-22 and F-35. You will often note the metallic sheen their paint tends to have and this is indicative of attempts to do this. Stealthy paint Not stealthy paint There is one last effect that is worth noting and that is that if a wavelength is larger than the object then a effect know as Reyleigh Scattering happens and the radar treats the aircraft as one homogeneous aircraft and shape and angles no longer really mater to the return just the size and composition of the object. This is why many countries looking to develop counter stealth technologies often look at low frequency radar as it can get around the shaping of the aircraft as well as issues with things like gaps, though the effectiveness of RAM isn't changed. Ok so you are probably asking why people don't just use long wave radar, well there are two problems while long wave radar has great range due to the energy required for a given distance is proportional to the wavelength it also comes at the price of accuracy and also needing a large antenna to pick up any receiving signals since the reception of radar signals generally requires a receiver proportional to the wavelength. Also effected is resolution which means that knowing that something is out there is easier but knowing where it is, is much harder. The lower resolution can have other unhelpful effects such as combining many small objects (like a flock of birds) into one. Lastly as alluded to earlier there is a hierarchy to the importance of design features. In general it goes like this. By far the most important one is tolerance of the parts and elimination of gaps. Then in a distant second is RAM and other coatings. Lastly there is shape though unlike the other two this is still required by some degree to any stealthy aircraft whereas you can go without the other two but with a much more easily detectable object. It illustrate this and to show how all of this starts to fit together look below at the four aircraft's. Now rank them in order of smallest RCS to largest.......Scroll down past them for the answer. F-22A Raptor Su-57 Felon F/A-18E/F Block III Super Hornet KF-21 Boramae (fighting hawk) Ok good here are the results - F-22
- F/A-18 E/F Block III
- KF-21
- Su-57
so how many of you thought that the KF-21 would be 3rd, or that the Su-57 would be last? This illustrates the importance of both keeping tight tolerances and in the heavy use of RAM and other skin (and some sub-skin) treatments. Both of the planes have shaping that is conducive to having a low RCS but are not able to match the 4.5 gen Superhornet’s latest version due to the latter's better tolerance control and increased use of RAM materials. This much has been admitted by the Korean government which has admitted that the Block one KF-21 which has no RAM and looser tolerance levels than they would have wished. They do plan on incorporating those as well as including a full internal bay rather than the semi-recessed hardpoints it currently has. This shows the difficulty in mastering those two elements since the South Koreans have a lot of experience building and even decent experience designing planes. The Su-57 is a bit of the different case. Teasing out the failings of the Su-57 has taken more work given the Russian government claims that its stealth feature are some of the best in the world. However pictures of the Su-57 during construction shows a complete lack of sub-surface shaping, as well as a lack of RAM coating on many surfaces that should have it. Furthermore riveting and screw attachment of parts are massive no no’s in stealth and the Su-57 has those in droves. Furthermore the engine's turbine blades are visible through the air intake something even the KF-21 avoids limiting the ability to actually improve the RCS. It also has clearly visible gaps at locations where they would significantly contribute to increasing the RCS. Lastly the paint on the plane does not exhibit any metallic properties meaning that it likely is derived from first gen stealth paint, most likely from samples of the F-117 that was shot down in the Balkans. Based on this and knowledge that tolerances have always been a weakness of Russian manufacturing (though in the past this was deliberate as low tolerances allow for more rugged machines) thus the Su-57 probably doesn't have a ton of RCS reduction and is probably on the level of the Eurofighter in terms of RCS. Ok so now withe the brief overview out of the way you are probably wondering how Flyout's “RCS” system fits into all of this. The answer is not at all. There is almost no connection between the games determination and reality. This can be deduced by the lack of most properties that are needed to define RCS. Some of the notable ones needed are wavelength of the radar used and given radar itself isn't in game we know that's not yet on the table, the electrical conductive properties of a aircraft's paint and skin/structures are very important to any radar return modeling and so far materials used in game are purely cosmetic. There also is no RAM material and even how that works is highly variable in real life but even a massively simplistic implementation doesn't exist so we can cross that out. There also is no setting for tolerances of parts of the plane and given that is the most important contributor to reducing RCS the lack of all these features means that the game’s RCS has no real connection with how real RCS works. Lastly, I don’t expect there to be a accurate system implemented. This is due to the massive computing power needed to model the subtle interactions of radar waves with all of these factors. As mentioned before there is a reason faceting was used heavily in early stealth aircraft despite it being less than optimal. It would take several months of using 1970’s supercomputers specially programed to just do this calculation to get a RCS model for a given aircraft shape. Even then it had to have data from real world RCS testing added to achieve this. While computing power has exponentially increased since then the ability to actively simulate a planes RCS in real time, is still well beyond anything a desktop computer can do. Especially given you would need a completely custom engine just for that part. And none of what I have said touches on other parts that can contribute to RCS like degradation of RAM coatings, or the fact that the exhaust from planes in afterburner shows up on radar (this is due to the lower density of hot air coupled with changes in the airs natural radar absorbing properties due to being at a different temperature). So for everyone out there, don't worry about or look too far into the RCS of your stealth plane be as creative as you want. That being said it is possible that IR reduction could be better simulated in game and might be a possible thing to have added. Real RCS will likely be limited to at best massively approximated stand-in values. Though there is a way to achieve a real world stealth parameter which is visual stealth, ie cammo or other tech that reduces a aircrafts visual signature. Along with some tech (like the hole material that is fictional but renders the plane truly invisible) Implementing the \"hole\" surface material to a plane in real life On a side tangent I want to point out that the exhaust phenomenon is something that has effected all stealth aircraft and the main reason the A-12 and SR-71 had no real RCS reduction since the massive amount of air the moved through the planes engines meant they were usually spotted at the maximum range of whatever radar they flew near. And while on the A-12 they tried to eliminate this through a combination of using a cesium fuel additive(which did absolutely nothing), and plasma stealth to shield the air intake so the fan blades would not reflect (which apparently worked ok but used a enormous amount of power, led to airflow disruptions that made the engine both less efficient, even more prone to flameouts, and caused the formation of nitric acid and other corrosive compounds the hurt the engine.). For the reasons I just showed the cesium and plasma stealth systems were disabled on the A-12 by the time it entered its brief service and not used at all on the SR-71, which instead used it’s extreme speed, altitude and what can be argued was the most extensive ECM suit ever fitted to a aircraft at the time, to ensure that any missile that got close could be jammed. Hope this helps people. submitted by The_Lucinator to flyoutgame [link] [comments] |
2024.05.15 00:06 brightgoldsoul We Don't Know What Binding Vows Are At Play
A lot of people are upset with how binding vows in JKK are used, specifically how Sukuna seems to be the only character **shown** to be using them via the narrator's oracle speech.
But we don't actually know what binding vows are at play in the story.
I'm not trying to express that binding vows aren't being used as a narration tool to move the story forward or explain gaps but I hope with this post to talk about how the story expresses them and why it's very possible all of the characters in these chapters fighting Sukuna could be using them without our knowledge.
Why didn't / don't the main characters use binding vows during or leading up to the battle? - They had no idea what Sukuna's, Kenjaku, or Uraeme's potential were/are. They're only baseline for the hideous amount of power Sukuna has is Gojo and literally none of them have fought Gojo at his full strength or potential. The only one who ever questioned how strong Sukuna was versus someone like Sukuna was Yuji very early on and Gojo very matter of factly said that "He'd win." Creating binding vows before knowing what the enemy is capable of could lead to disaster. Assassinating Kenjaku was entirely dependent on a number of risky factors surrounding Takaba and his extremely strange CT. If Yuta had made binding vows to help him against Sukuna but not against Kenjaku and that plan had failed he could have been at an extreme disadvantage. Of if they defeated Sukuna but then had to fight Kenjaku and Uraeme after using everything they had to take him down.
- They likely have been or are, but the narrator tells us about this -after the fact- when it's relevant in the story. We don't know if Gojo had to make a vow in order to remote detonate Red to make the Purple that killed Mahoraga. We don't know if Yuta had to make a vow to copy cleave/dismantle. He (as far as I know) never actually saw the technique himself until their fight. We don't know if Choso made a vow to save Yuji against furnace. Every instance of a binding vow being made is told to us after it has occurred, not during. All of the training and plotting and scheming from the heroes likewise has been shown to us during the battle, not before it.
- Most characters are not going to be able to make a binding vow in the split second battles occurring in the story that they can 1) uphold**\* and 2) Will prevent disaster later if their plan doesn't work
***We'll talk about this last
Who is the one judging the weight of a vow? - Ultimately it's the person making it. That person has to believe that what they're giving up is significant enough for the result to be impactful. It's very very different for a character like Sukuna who is the strongest being (so far) in JKK to say "I'll give up my ability to instantly kill anyone in the world with this slash to kill this man who is going to defeat me in a matter of moments if I don't" than it is for Miwa, a grade 3 sorcerer with no CT to try and kill a special grade threat with a sword slash. The difference in their power and the potential of their power with or without those things are worlds apart. Sukuna's fire arrow, likewise, would have been a technique he could have obliterated cities with, sans MS. Him giving up the ability to fire it "at will" is equivalent to a nuclear strike requiring 3 keys by three different people in unison compared to just 1 button press. Would the technique be slow? Yes? How many sorcerers could actually harm him before he pulled it off with his strength and RCT? Apparently just Gojo, and now he's dead.
But Kenjaku said if you break a vow you just lose the thing you gained? - We've never actually seen someone break a vow. There must be a reason for that. I could speculate how that ties into the very prevalent Buddhist themes of JKK but even a character like Miwa has not broken the vow just to wield a sword again after having her attack against Kenjaku utterly stopped. And Sukuna certainly has no reason to keep either of his vows yet he persists to do so. It may not have been stated explicitly but breaking a vow has some other consequence, if nothing else than it means none of the characters in the fiction of JKK are willing to go back on them for fear of not being true to themselves and their oaths. Even -villains- whose only goal is strength and might above all refuse to break them and that's all you really need to know. It doesn't need to be explained "why" they don't.
- See final point
Upholding Vows - I don't think anything actually "prevents" someone from acting against a vow they made. Kenjaku's statement in the point above clearly says you can break vows and lose the power gained. So when characters are doing things within the boundary of the vow, that's a deliberate choice they're making. It's not like the power is completely cut off from them, it's that by making the vow they must from then on adhere to them of their own accord. In a life and death situation as extreme as the events of these chapters with Sukuna -AND THE THREAT OF THE MERGER LOOMING EVEN THEY DO DEFEAT SUKUNA- there aren't a lot of advantages a JKK hero is going to throw away even if they could think of them fast enough in this encounter. Gojo was maybe the only person who could be making them on the fly the way Sukuna did/is. We saw how a poorly thought out binding vow could rob you of your own strength in Miwa.
- Binding Vows Are Related To Buddhist Philosophy, even if you can make/break them at will it goes against the themes of the story to lie and disown your choices and paths.

2024.05.14 23:59 11grim Short story question
I'm writing a superhero short story collection. It's all about the same character. It's follows a loose plot line/time line. What I was wondering is, how often do I need to repeat basic information in each story for the reader? I don’t want to mention his appearance every new story, or his motivations. I want the short stories to do that.

2024.05.14 23:55 pools49 PLEASE HELP ME: I need help SO BAD grading this argumentative essay.
My teacher graded the argumentative essay below 1/3/1. How do I get a 4 on the commentary and evidence section? Please help me, I am begging you guys to help me out.
Prompt:
One of the first-year-student orientation initiatives at a local university is to collect incoming students’ cell phones and keep them for 48 hours. The purpose of the initiative is to give students an opportunity to integrate into their new school culture and make friends on campus. Carefully consider the effects of this initiative and the extent to which they might support, complicate, or contradict its intended goals.
Write an essay that argues your position on the advisability of the 48-hour cell phone ban.
In your response you should do the following: • Respond to the prompt with a thesis that presents a defensible position. • Provide evidence to support your line of reasoning. • Explain how the evidence supports your line of reasoning. • Use appropriate grammar and punctuation in communicating your argument.
Enforcing a 48-hour cell phone ban as part of the first year student orientation initiative will have unintended consequences. This could very much hinder rather than facilitate the goal of creating a sense of community among the incoming students.
Firstly, cell phones serve as communication tools, allowing students to connect with family and friends during potentially stressful times. By restricting access, the initiative may unintentionally increase feelings of isolation and anxiety among students. Especially during a period of transition, students may rely on their phones as a comfort mechanism as a means of staying connected to familiar support networks. Also, students may perceive the ban as restrictive or in a negative way, possibly leading to resentment. This perception could undermine the university's efforts to create a positive student environment during the orientation.
The evidence highlights that the intended goal of promoting camaraderie might be possibly shut down by depriving students with the cell phone ban. Instead of making connections, the initiative may isolate students, making it difficult for them to maintain existing relationships or receive emotional support. This contradicts the goal of creating a welcoming atmosphere, essentially undermining the well being of the students.
Furthermore, in the modern world, cell phones are to vital information sharing and event coordination. Banning them for 48 hours might lead to missed opportunities for students to engage in campus activities and social events, again decreasing the quality of student experience.
In conclusion, while the initiative's intention was to encourage more interactions, the 48 hour cell phone ban may decrease the sense of belonging and community. A more effective approach that promotes both in person interactions and responsible technology usage would serve the many necessities of students.

2024.05.14 23:39 thongofthyme [M4F] Send me a starter!
If your usual reply to a roleplaying prompt is a comment reading, "hey, let's RP," this post isn't for you.
If your wheelhouse of responses is a one-line remark that expresses interest, but not why, or, better yet, some plot threads of your own that you'd like to chase, this post isn't for you.
If you're all about stories told from a first-person perspective, written in single-sentence bursts, this post isn't for you.
If you prioritize "getting to the next good part" instead of trying to make every part the next good part, this post isn't for you.
I hope each of you do find the exact-right storytelling partner to build the narratives you most enjoy! And I'm sorry for coming across (most likely, against my better phrasings) as an elitist roleplaying snob worthy of a post on the Bad RPer Stories subreddit. I'm sure you're all fantastic folks! It's just that, y'know, this one isn't for you.
If you're still left reading this and haven't rolled your eyes too much at my incidental airs of pretension, welcome! I'm a mid-twenties writer looking for partners in storytelling who revel in and relish the joys of advanced-literate-to-novella back-and-forths. The crackle and shimmer of lead characters with chemistry and charm. The well-rounded shine of a collaborative setting populated by enchanting side characters. The poetry of clever dialogue, the deft touch for detail and description, the breeziness of a lighthearted story, well-told, burnished by emotional stakes.
The always-exhilarating sense of anticipation for the next installment of the story, and the enthusiasm for responding in kind.
I'm not coming into this post with any pre-conceived prompt ideas or plots, which is where you come in! I'd love if you'd just send me a starter. The best, most entertaining one you can dream up.
And I promise, guaranteed, I'll knock your socks off with a response.
(If you're reading this, include the phrase "I see London, I see France" somewhere in your opener!)
All I ask is for a generally lighthearted vibe (with plenty of space for conflict and drama), a willingness to write in a universe not too dissimilar from our own (sorry, too, to the high fantasy and hard sci-fi fans still reading!), and be up for a story with a playful romance between our protagonists.
Oh! And also be at least 20 years old, please.
If this catches your eye, please feel free to send a message my way! I've had the thrill of writing with pitch-perfect partners back in the day, and I'd love to rekindle that passion for collaborative writing with some of you.

2024.05.14 23:32 King_Eon I did horribly in the 100m sprint
So I had a track meet today & found out I was running the 100m. That's fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm a varsity sprinter & I like to think I do pretty decently in meets (typically get 2nd or sometimes 3rd place in the events I run).
Anyways so I get to my school's field house & wait for the busses to come to take us to the school where we'll be running. But then 5 mins of waiting turns to 10, then 15, then 30, then 45, then finally 50 minutes later than they were supposed to come they show up.
So it's a little annoying but it's a pretty short drive, just annoying at the end of the day. Well, by the time we get to the school, the refs are already doing the first call for the 100m. So I now don't have time to warm up properly & just do a quick lap around the track & a couple stretches to at least get as warm as I can.
Then my teammates & I line up & get placed into heats. I feel decently confident. I step up to the line anddddd go! I immediately take the lead... until the ref says someone false started & we have to restart. I'm annoyed but go back to the line because what else can I do. So 2nd time anddd go. Except this time I'm fully in last & can hardly catch up to the person in front of me.
I ended up finishing last & timing 13.6 seconds which is terrible as I normally time in the low 12-high 11 second range. I know I shouldn't blame myself fully but it still just sucks.
TLDR: A series of unfortunate events lead me to doing terribly in the one event I was running at a track meet.

2024.05.14 23:32 Informal_Mix_9190 Hate to say it, but I Told you so!
I tried warning you all over a month ago when the first update rolled out. We are still working on a fix for the new security measures, as there's nothing in place now to counter it. As always, tread lightly. Any bot will generate the dreadful warning email. None of them are safe. & with the new security measures put in place over a month ago, it's now a clear telltale sign you're using a bot & not a physical device. If youre using, it's only a matter of time before they add you to the list. & if you haven't noticed, they're moving pretty quick these last few weeks with 3rd party emails.
All developers are already hands on & haven't found a counter for these new measures. I don't think a fix will follow for several more updates.

2024.05.14 23:24 purpleflyingcow1 Total Shuffled Island Your Way: Episode 12
| It’s the campfire ceremony, and Chase, Nichelle, and Sam haven’t received a marshmallow yet. The next marshmallow goes to… Chase! Nichelle is shocked, and says “What?” loudly and looks at Sam in fear, and Sam doesn’t look back, and looks content. The final marshmallow of the night goes to… Nichelle! Chase and Nichelle both are shocked, and Sam tells Nichelle he knew it was either him or her going, so he voted himself so she could stay. Nichelle is shocked, and Chase is mad at Gwen and Noah for not voting Nichelle, but Gwen tells him to stuff it and walks away mad, and Noah follows her. Katie and Chase then leave, leaving Sam and Nichelle by themselves. Nichelle begins to cry, saying all her friends have been leaving and she doesn’t know if she can do it, but Sam encourages her and says she’s the best thing to ever happen to him, and that she can do it. They kiss, and Sam leaves. It’s time for the challenge! Chase and Emma have to jump off a helicopter and jump on a sofa to earn the point. In confessional, Chase boasts about how he’s done worse on his channel. Emma is scared, because she chickened out on a challenge similar to this on Chases channel, but she wants to prove she can do it. Chase jumps first, but only Katie is trying, as the other 3 are halfheartedly pushing the sofa. Chase misses, and lands on the sand. Emma sees this and screams, but she trips and falls, but she somehow manages to make it on the sofa. The Bass earn the point, and they cheer. Caleb kisses her, and they embrace. Katie is kissing Chase as he goes to the infirmary, and Sadie watches all of this. In confessional, Sadie is mad because her 2 best friends have boyfriends, and how she’s the ugly fat friend, she never had any guy interested in her, and she wants revenge. Scarlett notices this, and tells her that she can work with her to get Caleb or Emma out and form an alliance. Sadie agrees. Ezekiel sees this, and tells Scarlett she can’t be manipulating everyone. Scarlett says don’t test her, and Ezekiel is scared. Scarlett says she’ll tell everyone that he’s just being sexist if he tries to get her out, and forces him to work with her. The next challenge is the moose riding challenge! Katie and Sadie are competing against each other. They say hi awkwardly, as they haven’t talked in a bit. If the bass earn this point, they win the challenge. Sadie goes up first, and only lasts 3 seconds, as she can’t get a good grip on it. Katie goes next, and lasts 10 seconds, winning the challenge. Chase is in a wheelchair and they kiss, making Sadie’s eye twitch and Scarlett smirks at her and mouths “see?” Then, it’s time for the mud skiing challenge! Gwen and Caleb are the drivers, and Noah and Harold are the flag collectors. Caleb and Noah go first. Caleb does a good job steering, and Noah only manages to collect 1 flag. The Gophers are mad, as they don’t want to vote someone else out three times in a row. Gwen and Harold are up next. Harold is doing amazing, and the Bass think that they’re going to win again, but a branch rips Gwen’s top, and exposes her, and Harold gasps, and crashes, and doesn’t make the finish line, making the Gophers the winners! The Bass are now discussing who to vote. Emma is talking to Caleb and Ezekiel, and saying he likes Harold and Sadie, but says they messed up on the challenge, and one of them should go. Caleb agrees, and says it should be Sadie. Emma disagrees, and says Harold. Ezekiel is the deciding vote, and says Sadie. Scarlett overhears this, and when Caleb and Emma leave, she forces Ezekiel to go back to the couple and tell them he actually wants Harold out. Ezekiel tries to protest, as Harold’s his friend, but Scarlett says she’ll tell everybody he’s still sexist. Ezekiel sighs and tells them, so now Caleb and Emma are voting Harold. Harold is moody, because he lost the challenge for the team, and thinks he’s going. Sadie decides to cheer him up, and they talk a lot, bonding. Sadie decides to go up to Scarlett and tell her she doesn’t want Harold out, and Scarlett tells her she wasn’t voting Harold out. Scarlett asks Sadie who she wants out, and her and Ezekiel will vote that person. Scarlett says in confessional that she doesn’t care who leaves, as long as she stays. Sadie tells her who she wants out, but she whispers it, so it’s a mystery. Vote for a Bass to leave, and vote for 2 contestants to return. Feel free to suggest any plot points. submitted by purpleflyingcow1 to Totaldrama [link] [comments] |
2024.05.14 23:22 i-will-overcome Relapsed & Struggling
I've been struggling with a very destructive pattern of paying for sex for some time now. I don't do it often, and bc of that I've fooled myself into believing that these act-outs are just a series of one-off events brought on by specific stressors in my life, but it has undoubtedly become a pattern and I know that I need some accountability.
For context, from a young age I've always engaged in somewhat deviant (to me) sexual behavior. I was raised very strictly catholic and from a young age was told in school that it was a sin to masturbate. I matured earlier than many boys and started masturbating in 4th grade. The first time scared the hell out of me as I had no idea what was happening. All I knew is it felt good and that I couldn't talk to it about anyone.
Fast forward to 8th grade - I was in a serious relationship through 9th grade. This was the first time I had sex of any kind with another person. I also was cheating on her with many other girls.
Next was sophomore year of high school. The first time I experienced true love. And the first time I felt I had such a deep connection with someone else that was respectful and honest. And still I ended up cheating on her toward the end of our two years together. We remain friends to this day which I'm very thankful for, and hey it was high school - water under the bridge, young people make mistakes right? maybe, but...
Fast forward to my college years, I was in a very serious relationship for the entirety of college that culminated in marriage right out of school and a subsequent divorce a few years later. She was the one. Beautiful, smart, sexy. She had everything I wanted (or thought I wanted in my juvenile brain). But as we entered our 3rd year of dating, we began to have many serious sexual issues that we would later find out, stemmed from both of our underlying trauma surrounding sex. We continuously played out a very destructive sexual fantasy that was never explicitly spoken about until the very end of our relationship. In addition to this, I also had many emotional and physical affairs along the way.
That failed marriage prompted a complete overhaul of my life. I was devastated and I knew there were many things I needed to sort out if I was ever going to have a healthy relationship to sex and with another person. Thus, I found a therapist. An amazing therapist. I didn't realize how good he was until much later. The work we did together changed my life. I found a stable career. And I found the girl of my dreams. The relationship was calm, respectful, loving, and without the vicious ups and downs I had previously known. The sex was good and meaningful. We are still together - married with three children. And to this day I have not had any sort of emotional connection to anyone else but her.
And yet, I'm here. Early in my relationship with my now-wife, I visited a massage parlor and cheated. I talked about this with my therapist. We dug in and explored why I felt the need to do this and discovered that this acting out had very little to do with my relationship and everything to do with some unresolved issues inside of me. Thus, the advice was to not disclose the transgression to my partner as it would only cause her pain. That took me a minute to understand but I believe it was the right decision. I still do. And with time, I moved past it.
That was my only transgression for a long time. After many years of intensive therapy I was a new man, feeling more confident and secure in myself than I'd ever been. And so on my therapists advice we began to taper off on the sessions until finally we felt the bulk of our work was done and that I we would check in only on a necessary basis.
And then 3 years into my marriage, I acted out again. I visited another sex worker. I was devastated. But I felt confident that I could handle this on my own. I didn't call my therapist. I journaled, I downloaded a sober app, I conducted therapy sessions with myself, and I held myself accountable. And with time I began to feel better until the guilt faded away and after numerous successful moments where I stopped myself from acting out. This gave me a security that I might finally have kicked my issue. And so I went on with life, I dedicated myself to being the best partner and father I could be. I didn't think of my transgressions often - only when those impulses would arise or I would catch myself drinking a bit too much and experiencing intrusive thoughts.
And then after almost 2 years of sobriety, I did again last week. And I'm crushed. It shakes the foundation I've fought so hard to build. It makes me question everything. It makes me feel like a broken person doomed to failure. And my deep fear now is that I've pathologized this behavior. I've normalized it. And that thought sends me into a panic. Is this what my life will be? Will I always have to carry around this shadow self? This is not the man I want to be. This is not the partner or father I want to be.
And what makes it that much more difficult is that my family and friends adore me. I've been referred to as "golden boy" more than a few times. I have an enviable life. And I'm the type of person who friends and family confide in and look up to. I've been told I emanate a quiet strength and people feel safe around me.
And yet, here I am with this terrible secret. I don't feel like the man people think I am or that I portray myself to be. I've called my therapist and we will speak tomorrow, but any words of encouragement or additional resources would be much appreciated. I cannot allow this to happen again. It is eating away at my heart.

THE OBLIGATORY "IS THIS A SCAM?" QUESTION: Considering the fact that you found my contact information online, it’s understandable to be skeptical regarding the legitimacy of my services. Therefore, I’m willing to do all of the following to help you feel more secure in trusting me with your academic needs:
- Engage in a Telephone interview: Speak with you on the phone and answer any questions you may have so that you have the opportunity to assess and analyze my tone, articulation, and accent. I’m a New Jersey-born Irish/Italian-American, but I have been told that I speak in an erudite & articulate suburban American accent with a “professor style” voice somewhat resembling the voice of actor: Ben Stein.
- Provide Telephone References: Provide you with the contact information of students who have utilized my services in the past who would be more than willing to vouch for my skills.
MY REBUTTAL TO THE OBLIGATORY “IS THIS A SCAM?” QUESTION: At the risk of sounding arrogant, I consider myself to be at least marginally more intelligent (both academically & socially) than the average person. Therefore, if I ever decided to suddenly risk prison time, risk my reputation, and risk enduring the wrath of modern-day “cancel culture” by scamming people out of their money:
- Not Worth the Money: I certainly wouldn’t do it for such paltry amounts of money. (i.e., anything less than $1,000 per victim.)
- Most Students are Broke: I certainly wouldn’t choose high school & college students as my “target audience” to scam, considering that most people without college degrees have abysmally low annual incomes.
- Waste of Time & Energy: Communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine.
- All My Payment Apps are Still Active: If you pay me to provide academic services and I don’t deliver, you can always dispute the payment with the payment app and easily get your money refunded. If I were in the habit of swindling money from people, then all of my payment accounts would have been investigated and be completely shut down by now.

2024.05.14 23:13 VincentVegasiPhone13 Seeking advice and/or consolation for weird ear symptoms
TL;DR: Noise sensitivity and other weird symptoms like popping/creeking and hearing my heartbeat. Possibly fluid in ears from sinus/allergies? Can fluid, or sinuses/mold, or a virus, cause these symptoms?
Hello everyone. Apologies in advance, I just found this community and this might be long but I just want to explain my symptoms so that someone might be able to ease my mind. Just for some background this is over the course of the last 13ish days. I have tinnitus but I don’t think it’s relevant because it is anxiety induced, or at least I don’t have any hearing loss as of last year.
Around the 24th/25th I started hearing an involuntary clicking/popping noise in my left ear. This was accompanied by a small tickling/pain sensation in the left ear. I thought I had tiny amount of ear drainage at nights but thought I could be making it up. Went to urgent care on 27th and doctor said there was no fluid behind my ear. Basically said there was no problem.
After the urgent care day I started to get sensitivity to noises in my left ear. I am a musician and it was enough to have me stop singing. It’s since been not as bad, I can wear headphones again, but still notice it a little bit in my left ear. I also proceeded to get post-nasal drip, like a swallowing mucus sensation, and just feeling slightly crummy in general. Now when I swallow I get the sound of releasing pressure in my ears like when you go on a plane or change altitudes. This is also a popping noise but it’s different from the involuntary one. The involuntary one is loud and has a long duration of back and forth.
I also started hearing my heartbeat in my right ear and feeling a slight fullness feeling, but it wasn’t enough to make me confident it was fluid. Thankfully the hearing my heart beat in my right ear is not as often and the involuntary popping in my left stopped for a few days (is now back sometimes but quieter). I still get them when in certain neck positions or straining during exercises, or when I get a high moment of stress and my heart beats a little harder, but I’m just thankful it’s not as often/periodic anymore.
On the 29th I went to the nurse practitioner at the actual hospital and she thinks it may be allergies. She didn’t see any fluid either. Started Sudafed and Flonase (as per her recommendation) and I had lots of ear drainage the same day. I think it was the Sudafed because apparently Flonase takes a few days to work. As a weird detail, the drainage smelled like the Flonase… just thought it was weird and should mention it.
Went back to the nurse on the 3rd and they looked in my nose this time. Said my left nostril was so swollen that they don’t know how I was breathing out of it. I felt no resistance or congestion, I felt fine as far as that went. They prescribed me the steroid dexamethasone 0.75 mg for 7 days twice a day. At first I thought it spiked my tinnitus but it actually started to help it a lot.
Since I’ve been done the steroid, I took one Zyrtec to help my post-nasal drip, and I got a huge spike in my T back. It could be coincidence, as it hasn’t gone back down much. I’ve had headaches, face swelling, feeling of pressure in my ears, lots of ear fluid one night, maybe even a low grade fever one night but my thermometer is not trustworthy.
When I wake up my ears feel like they have this pressure but I’m pretty sure it’s not affecting my hearing. It’s so weird that I’m getting different symptoms in different ears, and how I got the popping sounds before noticing any fluid. My doctor says this could be a virus, but I’m seeing the ENT for the first time tomorrow. I’m scared they’re not going to see anything and send me off.
The only two things I can think of that caused this was that I was riding in my friends car for a long time one night that week and the car had a mildew smell. Other thing is that I rode in a separate friends loud convertible that maybe the exhaust pipe noises caused these symptoms, but I don’t know how hearing damage can cause fluid and nasal inflammation.
Another thing I think about is that my grandpa hated loud noises… but I really hope this isn’t connected. He likely never wore ear protection and always worked around boat engines and engineering docks since a kid. My grandma said she has had similar situations as me in the past where she gets ear fluid and noise sensitivity from sinuses so I’m praying that it is temporary 🙏

2024.05.14 23:06 Meriph Some thoughts after my first read.
I finished reading the series for the first time around three weeks ago after seven months of reading every day. What a journey.
I wanted to take note of some of my thoughts and questions as I was going through the books, but never did. However, as I finished A Memory of Light I felt that emptiness typical of when you finish a great series and felt the need to finally write down some of them.
I avoided any spoiler I could after the second book so I haven't navigated much in this sub and wonder if some of what I noticed is shared by other more seasoned lovers of the series. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my doubts come only from pieces I missed or misremembered.
- I really appreciated Sanderson's introduction to "The Gathering Storm". I knew Jordan didn't finish writing the series and I was a bit worried how the transition would affect the story. Sanderson's short introduction really put my mind at ease.
- Without over-analyzing the writing styles, I found Sanderson's to be more direct, less discursive and without a halo of mystery I felt with Jordan's.
- Maybe I'm stretching it, but towards the end I noticed some characters becoming more one-dimensional. Especially Mat, the cheekiness levels were off the chart.
- In the books written by Jordan I really liked how all story lines were developed almost simultanously, with big events used as reference points (like the cleansing of saidin and the foul gust from Dragonmount) and crafty story telling to summarize and fill some holes. Maybe it was harder to do towards the end, but Perrin's arc after Malden up to when he gets to Andor has a big time offset relative to events narrated in the same chapters.
- Aviendha's "third" visit at Rhuidean felt a bit rushed and left me with some questions. It's safe to say that the ter'angreal doesn't tell the future because Aviendha can simply change the name of one of her children and because Rhuarc dies, but it's odd how Amys (or was it Bair) gets the same visions, even if from different people. I wish we knew more about the ter'angreal. Did this plot have the only scope of giving some hints about the future of the Aiels and urging Aviendha to talk to Rand?
- Did Alivia help Rand "die" by preparing his clothes and bags? lol
- I don't know if I missed some hints, but Rand swapping body with Moridin did surprise me. It went beyond what I thought was possible in the universe, but I reckon it was a good surprise ending.
- I was not ready for so many characters loosing their plot armour at Tarmon Gai'don, and the more it went on, the more I feared for the remaining ones.
- Moiraine's return was a bit spoiled with Min having an unfulfilled vision about her. On this topic, it's odd how her bond to Lan is transferred as if she died, while as far as we know, when she enters the other door ter'angreal nothing of the like happened. As I'm writing this I realize she could've briefly released the bond the first time, but then, would've it gone to Myrelle?
- The tv show is garbage, it shows no respect to the original material, but I'm glad I watched as it sparked my interest in this amazing series.
- As Morgase traveled through Altara I was holding my breath hoping she would run into Salidar and reconnect with Elayne. Things might have unfolded differently, not necessarily for the better, but my heart ached at the thought of Elayne believing her mother was dead. How long did it take for them to reconnect? Seven books? Wild.

2024.05.14 23:04 Impossible_Potato186 Bully or Bullied
I need some feedback here. This is a long story, please be patient (and hopefully provide feedback).
A few months ago, the kid in question wrote a Mean Girls type of burn book. She listed my daughter at the top of the popular list, and then she wrote bad things about other girls. My daughter was pulled into the office for questioning and had to defend herself against a few accusations. It came out that this girl had written the list, but everyone was already mad at my daughter because they assumed she wrote it. The other girl’s mom defended her daughter’s actions and said that she’s the outcast and doesn’t know many other kids because they’re new-ish to the school. Fine.
A few weeks ago, this same mom at our (private Catholic) school texted several moms separately about an incident in which our 3rd grade girls were talking about periods. Her daughter apparently lied about starting her period, so the other girls were kind of ribbing her and saying that she’s lying. Here’s where it gets weird. The mom was pissed about the girls calling her daughter a liar despite her lying. She proceeds to tell me that my daughter and her best friend asked her daughter to see a soiled pad to prove that she started her period. Gross. I talked to my daughter, and her reaction was the same. “Gross! I’d never ask to see that! I didn’t hear anyone else ask that either.” So, I relayed this information to the mom. I told her that I’m personally not concerned about the girls talking about periods because they’re girls. To that, she said “Agree to disagree,” or something to that effect. Also, one of the graphic novels that they’ve all read has a character who starts her period. When my daughter read that novel, she asked me questions, and we had talked. A non-event…at least to me.
The following week, I get a call from the principal that my daughter threw sand in this girl’s hair. She said from the video footage, it looked like my daughter may have been defending one of her friends. I asked my daughter, and she kind of lied about the situation and said that she was “just dusting her hands off” in this kid’s hair. 🤦🏼♀️ She said that this girl was yelling at another friend, and the sand in hair thing just happened. She said it was barely any sand, and the other girl had thrown sand on them first. From what I gather, my daughter was the only one to get a conduct mark and note home.
This weekend, this other girl starts messaging my daughter’s friend. She told her that she had JUST talked to my daughter, and she had such NASTY things to say about this friend. I checked my daughter’s call log and chat history, and she hadn’t talked to this kid in weeks. My daughter then tells me that this girl keeps telling all her friends things like to make them hate her. She’s been telling the teachers and coaches on my daughter and several other kids for things that never even happened.
I tried talking to the mom, but she insisted that her child is the victim, and she’s had to endure torment from the other girls recently because they’re mad that her mom gets involved in situations. That’s true. The girls don’t want to interact with this kid because she lies to her mom, her mom goes to school, and then everyone gets in trouble.
The official story to this lady is that my daughter is the REAL bully. She’s reported her several times at school.
From these instances, what’s your interpretation?

THE OBLIGATORY "IS THIS A SCAM?" QUESTION: Considering the fact that you found my contact information online, it’s understandable to be skeptical regarding the legitimacy of my services. Therefore, I’m willing to do all of the following to help you feel more secure in trusting me with your academic needs:
- 1) Speak with you on the phone and answer any questions you may have so that you have the opportunity to assess and analyze my tone, articulation, accent, diction, dialect, regionalisms, pitch, vocabulary, word choice, intonations, and inflections.
- NOTE: I’m a New Jersey-born Irish/Italian-American, but I have been told that I speak in an erudite & articulate suburban American accent with a “professor style” voice somewhat resembling the voice of actor: Ben Stein.
- 2) Agree to do some homework questions of yours upfront with the work fully shown in real-time to prove my mastery of the course content.
- 3) Send you screenshots of at least five past scores I attained from completing exams & homework assignments for other students in the same type of class you need help with.
- 4) Send you full screenshots of written exam solutions I wrote up by hand for students in the past in the same course that you need help with so that you can see my neat handwriting.
- 5) Provide you with the contact information of students who have utilized my services in the past who would be more than willing to vouch for my skills.
- I certainly wouldn’t do it for such paltry amounts of money. (i.e., anything less than $1,000 per victim.)
- I certainly wouldn’t choose high school & college students as my “target audience” to scam, considering that most people without college degrees have abysmally low annual incomes. Why choose low-income victims when it would be much more profitable to target high-income, high-net-worth individuals earning at least six figures a year? I have knowledge in business consulting, and I promise you that a business owner would be a MUCH more lucrative mark than a low-income college student.
- I wouldn’t choose such a time & energy-draining method of scamming people. Also, communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine. This means that 90% of my time communicating with potential clients ultimately proves to be a colossal waste of my irretrievable time & energy.
- If you pay me to provide academic services and I don’t deliver, you can always dispute the payment with the payment app and easily get your money refunded. If I were in the habit of swindling money from people, then all of my payment accounts would have been investigated and be completely shut down by now. And I would have been permanently banned from opening new accounts. Therefore, the fact that all my payment apps have been fully active for years should be sufficient proof that I haven’t had people consistently disputing payments sent to me.

2024.05.14 22:58 redhairing24601 Update on my coworker got her chair confiscated
original post is
here if you’re curious i’m pissed. i’m already certain i’m not coming back next school year. see previous post. i’ve mentioned it to coworkers who are already planning on leaving as well. i have not officially told any admin though. additionally, i’ve brought the idea earlier in the year to my admin of me entering an intervention based role (we don’t have one currently and there are many students who need extra support) and she apparently took this as a sign that i wasn’t happy in my current role and couldn’t handle managing a classroom. that’s a crazy leap to jump to and i never said such a thing. they never reached out to me asking about my plans next year. this was in february. jump to 2 weeks ago when my sweet unassuming coworker (whose wife is also a teacher) excitedly told me at assembly that his wife would be taking over the 3rd grade classroom next year! since it’s a small school theres only 1 3rd grade classroom…which is my classroom. he assumed they had communicated anything at all to me whether that be me moving to another grade level, me officially telling them i would be leaving…nope. not a word. so I had to be the one to reach out to them to ask what their thought was. the reply was something to the effect of, “since you seemed so enthusiastic about the other position we thought it was safe to assume you weren’t wanting to return.” i can’t even imagine being so unapologetic about being so unprofessional. the fact that i suggested another position i thought showed my enthusiasm for supporting students and commitment to the student body. all she saw was that I didn’t want to teach. to make that jump, and then to send out a contract for my job without a single word to me about it is absolutely insane.

I WRITE LIKE A PROFESSIONAL: - Approximately 98% of the time, I write all my texts & emails in grammatically correct U.S. English with proper punctuation and occasional typo.
- Unlike some alleged “U.S.-based tutors,” I do NOT write using broken English or grammatically incorrect texting shorthand (example: "wut u need help wit??").
- I write my ad in proper American English, the same way I always text and email people.
- I can guide students on formatting & writing term papers, essays, and discussion posts in APA MLA Chicago Harvard format.
- If the tutor you’re checking out consistently writes using egregiously horrendous grammar, do you honestly think it’s a good idea to trust them to help you do well in your class?

HOW TO CONTACT ME: - If you are interested in my services and would like to learn more info, please feel free to reach out to me.
- Text messages and email are the fastest and easiest ways to get in touch with me. However, I gladly accept phone calls.
- If I don't respond right away, I am most likely helping a student at the time and not currently available to speak on the phone. But I always make a solid effort to reply to texts, emails, and phone calls within an hour.
CONCLUSION: - I take my work as a tutor very seriously, and I always aim to do my best to help my students excel in school. I have a solid and sincere passion for academic achievement, and with my help, I am positive that I can help students obtain very high grades with minimal stress and effort.
- Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in my services and would like to learn more. I'm available 24/7 via phone call, email, and text. Again, thank you for taking the time to read my Reddit tutoring ad, and I hope to hear from you soon!
OCT 2021 UPDATE: I am currently offering discount deals for requests for assistance with completing a student's entire course for the Fall 2024 semester (14 - 20 week courses acceptable), as well as discounts for students seeking help with multiple exams and/or multiple classes for Fall 2024. My availability for the Autumn 2024 / Fall 2024 semester will likely become limited very quickly as I receive more and more academic requests. Therefore it would be very advantageous to reach out to me for academic assistance before my schedule becomes too full.
