[F18]Actually I'm quite new to reddit basically throwaway account hai ye( as my username), my problem is that I got RT in maths this year was a private candidate not a fresh candidate, last year got 78% but maths Mai RT agyi thi, improvement nhi diya tha maine July wala (ik big mistake) and abhi wale Mai firse RT agyi but jee mains m meri 87 percentile hai (27s1) maths Mai (93) before you all say that mujhe maths smjh nhi ati or anything let me tell you that I do understand maths tabhi to jee field liya tha but jab boards m karna hota subjectively to I'm unable to do so like write everything down objective hi 20marks ke hote wo hojate fir I try to do 5 marker but waha I go clueless and ab to step marking bhi nhi hoti itni i guess jiske wajah se I couldn't do so also ig my checker was strict but ek baar smjh ata hai do baar nhi : (But now I'm very very clueless and dissapointment to myself and my parents as well I gave my wordings that I'll prove myself this year to them but eventually lost, parents ne kafi kuch bola hai and ik I'm worth of all those things that they said mujhe bura Iga but it's my fault and I'm accepting it.can anyone really say what should be done now? ⚫also those who scored really good in maths boards please guide me on how to basically write to fetch more marks and what should I do for upcoming exam in July?? Something crazy happened today and I still couldn't believe it! (context: I live in mumbai and this incident took on local station)
So me and my mother had to go to some family function but I couldn't go due to preparation for advanced. Still I thought I'll drop her till station, so we reached there and I took ticket for her (as there was a long queue) , I didn't took platform ticket for me (no one takes actually) as it was just a matter of 2 minutes.
So train came, I waved her a goodbye and when I was going down the stairs, I was caught by a TC (ticket collector) He asked for my ticket , I said "Mai toh sirf mummy ko drop karne aaya tha." As expected he didn't listened , I told him the whole story but he wasn't convinced.
Then he took me to the railway office where all the TCs stay during there work hours. Then they asked "Platform ticket kyu nahi liya?" I said "Just 2 minute ke liye gaya tha platform pe mummy ko drop karne aap toh piche hi padd gaye ho" (I was hella frustrated as time waste ho raha tha faltu ka)
He asked for fine but I had no wallet, no phone as I left home in rush. I started to defend myself like every normal person will do (I accept it was my fault) but still I tried to defend myself, I said "Paise ghar se laake deta hu, aap pareshan kar rahe ho ab." He got triggered and said to his other TC, "ISKO LOCK UP MAI DAALO" (in really high tone), at that moment I went blank but then I said "Sir I'm just a student in class 12th , how can you lock up a child under 18, (although I'm 19, drop year tha)
Then I pulled the ultimate move , there was a huge hoarding by my coaching of jee mains result with my photo and percentile on it and luckily it was visible from the office, I said "Voh dekho, meri photo bhi lagi hai itni badi uss hoarding pe with 99.xx percentile, Do you think I'll do this on purpose?" (idk why I said it as this doesn't make any sense)
Expression of that TC completely changed and his next line made me lose it, He said "Thik hai sir, AAP jao" with a really really soft tone.
I am still shocked ki ye kya hua par jo bhi hua aacha laga.

Throwaway account as my husband and In-laws are follow my main. I, 29 F, have been married to my husband, 30 m, who I'll call Alex. Alex and I met in college during our freshman year. We started off as just friends, and got married seven months ago. I've gotten along with his family, but we aren't super close but we're friendly enough. The problem is that Alex has begun to make me incredibly uncomfortable.
Firstly, he's begun to ask me who I'm meeting with, where, what we plan on doing, how long every single time I leave the house without him. At first, I just thought he was being protective and a good partner just in case something happened, but then he started checking my phone after the visits, vetting and researching each of my friends as well.
He also has been pursuing me to link my bank account to his, as he's "in charge" of the finances when he was perfectly fine with keeping them separate before. We fight about it almost every day.
Finally, yesterday when he was preparing to go on a work trip for two weeks in California, he demanded I wear a tracker so he could keep and eye on me while he's gone. I can't do this anymore, I feel like I'm suffocating and his family who I've spoken to about his worrying behavior just said he's being careful and protective as a good husband should. I need to gather my things together and find a way to be gone before he gets home without tipping him off.
He's always threatened that if he ever found me cheating on him he'd turn in divorce papers the same day. He keeps a filled out copy in his desk. I'm going to submit those the day I leave. But there's so much to do, bergen finding a new place to live, seeing if my job has any transfers available, packing and moving in two weeks. His return flight May 11th, so I need to move quickly. I'm posting here because I don't have any close family, and I can't risk dragging my friends into this as we share the same friends.I just needed a place to vent, and ask if anyone has any advice on the easiest and safest way to do this?
Edit: oh my god you guys are amazing! I never even thought to not use his divorce papers. I'll check for cameras before I start any packing or prepping. I may also shred his divorce papers just in case and look into getting a lawyer for myself. I'm in a no fault divorce state, that much I so remember which will help. I'll update again when I know more. The tracker he wants me to use is a small clip to put on the belt or waistband. I'll wear it unless I'm going or doing something related to me leaving. No pets yet thankfully.

So I've gotten a lot of support and helpful advice along with questions I thought I should clarify before I proceed with the update. Some asked why I'd be 'hiding' things from Alex regarding going out and who I'm meeting with. I don't, and I have nothing to hide. However when he begins to then double check everything I tell him with the other people there right down to each person I talked to and what I said. Did I send any text msgs, did I order food, how much did I eat, that's when it started to feel like I was slowly being pushed into a corner. It didn't start that bad, but gradually grew worse overtime.
All of the Reddit subs my in-law's families are part of are related gardening and diy so I highly doubt they'll see this, if so by the time they do, I'll hopefully be gone. I talked to my job and explained things to my manager. And they promised to look into openings in other states to see if they could get me into one. They'll have an update on that in three days. I trust that my bank account us secured, considering he's tried to get into it before and failed. I found one camera in the kitchen, another in the living room and one in our bedroom. As such, I've left them in place for now and done all other planning, either in the bathroom pretending I'm taking a bath.
I'm honestly staying away from the domestic violence services as my sister-in-law is unfortunately higher up in those considering she volunteers there and I have a feeling if I did show up there, they would know in a heartbeat. I can't look for apartments until I get the update from my work, but either or i'm still gonna be leaving the state. The day before I do I will be changing my number carrier and wiping my laptop and all of his electronics before I do.
I've met with 2 lawyers so far and had them look over the paperwork. My husband had prepared and both said that it did it have some clauses in it. That could have caused me some trouble down the line. What alarmed all of us close the fact that several of those clauses dealt with future children, and not as a hypothetical. Like several hair suggested I have a feeling he fully intended on getting me pregnant to keep me trapped and tied to him.
There are 3 other locations. My job could send me to and I have. As a precaution Begun looking into all 3 cities and housing in the areas. Just in case one of those, this is the one they send me to. Even if they don't have an opening that they can push me into then I will just have to quit, move and figure things out on my own. I have enough money to live and survive for a few months until I can pick up another job.
Unfortunately all of our friends are mutuals and would likely be unaware of the consequences of saying or sharing anything I do or say with my husband. I don't have any surviving close family and obviously my in laws are not a good resource to rely on. I am on my own unfortunately, other than the wonderful bonds, i've begun to make here. I will update again if I get more information or something else happens. Otherwise all update when my work gets back to me. I do plan on leaving before he returns, though. Just to make sure that i'm not anywhere near here at that time.

Good news! My work has an opening I qualify for that will not only shift me across the country, but also comes with a salary increase as well. I've started telling my in laws and friends that I'm planning a surprise outing for when my husband gets back for just the two of us. This way, people don't give me odd looks if they see me out and about. I've even gone as far as asking MIL to show me his favorite recipes.
Meanwhile, I've found a moving company that while small is willing to work in a storm. The reason is in five days, we're supposed to get hit with a large storm front. I plan to shut off the breaker and say we lost power if he asks just as several people here suggested and even send him a short clip of the storm.
I will have all of my stuff moved that afternoon, and I will be flying out once the weather has cleared enough to do so. I have a lawyer who will push my divorce through, and I've filled out the necessary paperwork so that I don't have to be here for it. I'm not suing for assets or alimony and I've shredded his divorce papers as well. I've set up a cheap payphone plan through cricket until this is all said and done at which point I will find a new carrier, number and phone. This one is being wiped and left behind.
My laptop is provided by my work, and the IT department inspected it thoroughly and it was clean thankfully. No other electronic aside from my laptop and new phone will be coming with me. If alex needs to talk to me, he can do it through my lawyer. Not sure if anything else will happen, my fingers are crossed that he doesn't think anythings amiss until after I leave - and I'm not turning the breaker back on when I do. He can when he gets home. My work is covering the plane ticket, so that at least is one expense I don't have to finagle in.

Update 3: I have 2 weeks to get away from my husband.
It's been a busy week, but I've gotten so much done. Firstly, I am now out of the house and am currently in a hotel while I look for an apartment. It's a big city, bustling with people no matter where you look. We had a pretty bad storm system hit back home, that actually lasted two days. High winds, thunder, lightning and even hail everywhere. I didn't take much from the house, my documents, clothes and important sentimental items. I left all of the furniture and electronics behind. I cleaned the house top to bottom and took pictures on my phone so he couldn't claim I damaged anything when I left.
My lawyer has already started divorce proceedings, and my husband will be served on the 8th. His plane is due to land early morning, and the sheriff will be there at the house waiting for him. He is very much about public appearances and reputation. My lawyer will be calling him as well to inform him that I am more than willing to air out everything to the public about his actions if it means securing my freedom from him. I will go to court as long as I must to get this pushed through.
I haven't told our friends or his in-laws yet, I will do that while he is on the flight to prevent him from getting wind of it before he's handed the divorce papers. I will be calling around and explaining why we're getting divorced, to try and prevent him from twisting this into somehow being my fault. I don't want him trying to claim I had an affair or something so I want to get the truth out before he can twist this.
I'm... doing okay. I'm tired, but yet I feel almost jittery and off-kilter. I keep looking over my shoulder and monitoring what I say even when I don't really need to anymore. Hopefully that will fade soon. My work is covering the cost of the hotel, and I'm working on getting my other things in order. I also need to find a new GP as I want to get a full test just to make sure everything is okay. I don't know when my next update will be, probably when the divorce papers are filed or if we have to go to court to push them through. I will try to keep my head up, but it feels like I'm in a whirlwind or something with so many things to do and think about. I kinda thought it would be easier once I got out of the house but while the fear is smaller, somehow the number of tasks only seems to have grown.

So so have what I think is a pretty decent offline sp Uber Tristram mostly zeal / paladin… Level 90 Hp 1375 Mana 212 Max block Dex and decent strength around 140 each ( a bit more with gear) Max sacrifice, zeal, fanaticism, holy shield, a bit of smite and other pieces etc Gear guillames, death berserker axe, 4 perfect diamond sacred rondache, duress / treachery, verdungo, raven etc

My first run I broke cos he spawned so many of his mob I died and he then camped the portal… my own fault I guess, but this time he spawned right next to it in a house to the bottom left of the portal. My first run I broke cos he spawned so many of his mob I died and he then camped the portal… my own fault I guess, but this time he spawned right next to it in a house to the bottom left of the portal. Mostly him stuck in place and spawning more of his mob than ai could kill… couldn’t get to him so I circled around, took out Baal and Diablo, but ran out of rejuvenations and so thought I’d go back via portal and died to too many horror mages… tried to retrieve my body but every auto load I’d die Instantly… gave up so I didn’t lose my gear.
Is it just bad rng that places him there? I’ll key farm and try again but annoying that Baal and Diablo would aggro abs come at you - he just sat there being annoying grrr

My Jeep (2016 Cherokee Trailhawk) has been at my local repair shop for over a month now with no solution in sight. I first dropped it off due to an oil leak, which ended up requiring an engine oil cooler replacement. The day after I picked it up, after driving it maybe 15 miles, it broke down on the highway. It now has some sort of weird electrical/communication fault going on that. It will drive fine after the faults are cleared for between 15-45 miles before it happens again. I have now broken down due to the faults, dropped the car off at the repair shop, picked it up and broken down again 4 times over the past month. It hasn't left the shop in the last 3 weeks. When it breaks down, I will be driving normally and all of the sudden the 4-5 faults pop up and the engine light comes on. The faults include ABS, traction control, 4WD unavailable, ESP and the engine light. The shop has been in communication with Jeep techs but they just keep saying to bring it to a dealership to resolve. Of course the repair shop says it's nothing that they did, which is complete fucking BS but how the hell do I prove that? I paid for the diagnostics the second time I dropped it off, but they haven't charged me anything since then now that they cannot resolve the new issue. If I bring it to Jeep I fear I'll have to dump another few thousand dollars into it to fix it.

Basically, I did quite good on the calc AB exam. However, at the very end, while we were going to submit our papers, my friend looked at my answers and said that I had to write 3 digital places for every answer. My world crumbled right then and then. Maybe it is partly my fault as well, still, I felt sorrow and anger. It is a real pity, because all my answers were the same as my friends’ ones. Would collegeboard still count my answers as correct? Could I make an appeal? I feel devastated.

Hi, For the past 3 years, every time the weather improves at the end of spring, my car suddenly develops a fault that causes the ABS system to fail and The Flat Tyre Monitor to fail at the same time.
I get the ABS warning on the dash and told to drive cautiously. The first time it occurred I took it to a mechanic and he said it's most likely a wiring issue some where, but couldn't identify the issue, however they did replace all the ABS and tyre sensors. The issue continued almost immediately. After a few months later the issue disappeared only to come back in May last year.
At the end of September last year the error went away and I enjoyed a autumn/winter and most of spring without the error coming up. This last weekend we have had our hottest day of the year so far and the same day the error crops up again!
Anyone had any experience with this?

Since I found a internship in another place for three months, I paused the payment for 3 months (December, January, February). After February, even though I am not returning to the place where the gym is, I decided for the contract to run till its end, I thought which would be end of May. Recently I moved to another place as I found a thesis opportunity there. There was a gym where I could do the studio exchange program and I thought if I cancel it in May, then the contract of my first gym will only run till the end of June (1 month cancellation period). But when I asked for my old gym to confirm my cancellation, they sent me an email saying that since I asked to cancel my contract in May, the contract would run till end of September (cancellation period + three months in which I paused the payment).
The following is the text that is in the form for pausing the payment:

I did a tune up on my son's new car. Needed some work as it was misfiring. Initially this started out trying to figure out why it was misfiring, but I believe that was spark plugs and coils. While I was in there digging around I decided to take out the O2 Sensors, Crank Shaft Sensor, Cam Shaft Sensors and replace them as well. These were cheap sensors off of Amazon, but since writing this have ordered OE ones from FCP Euro hoping they fix this new issue.
The old crank shaft one broke off and I had to fish out the round plastic part from the block. The inside of the sensor came out of it's housing shell.
After putting this all back together. Car takes a good 30-45 seconds to start (didn't before). EPC and Engine light came on, but now the misfire I believe is gone. When I got it started took it for a nice ride and it seemed fine.
My thought is can the Crank Shaft Position sensor I put in might not be working well. It is a cheap one off amazon. Wondering if this or the cheap cam shaft position sensor are the issue. I am not the best at reading into these items, but I will post my new scan here to see if you can shed any light on it.
I really appreciate the help and ideas of why this is happening?

I did a tune up on my son's new car. Needed some work as it was misfiring. Initially this started out trying to figure out why it was misfiring, but I believe that was spark plugs and coils. While I was in there digging around I decided to take out the O2 Sensors, Crank Shaft Sensor, Cam Shaft Sensors and replace them as well. These were cheap sensors off of Amazon, but since writing this have ordered OE ones from FCP Euro hoping they fix this new issue.
The old crank shaft one broke off and I had to fish out the round plastic part from the block. The inside of the sensor came out of it's housing shell.
After putting this all back together. Car takes a good 30-45 seconds to start (didn't before). EPC and Engine light came on, but now the misfire I believe is gone. When I got it started took it for a nice ride and it seemed fine.
My thought is can the Crank Shaft Position sensor I put in might not be working well. It is a cheap one off amazon. Wondering if this or the cheap cam shaft position sensor are the issue. I am not the best at reading into these items, but I will post my new scan here to see if you can shed any light on it.

As I said in the title. 2.5 years ago I broke up with my ex because she cheated on me with another guy, with whom she came together with. It took me exactly half the time to get over it but I felt like sharing some information that helped me a lot through that breakup and it might be especially helpful for people, who got cheated on or simply just felt betrayed a lot. I'm in no way an expert, even though I have spend tons of times during my breakup to understand what is happening to me and why I was mentally so broken down, that even a simple train ride caused a panic attack within me. I do hope that I might help atleast 1 or 2 of you.
My Story:
Like I said my ex cheated on me with her roommate in her internship abroad. She was there for 2 weeks, started the affair and after I did some digging, she admitted it a week later. Like the majority of you I was crushed and went through the mentally toughest times of my life. I was lucky to have a social system that had my back consisting of my friends and family. During that time I disociated a lot, had anxiety and panic attacks and lost a lot of weight. Top of it all was the suicidal thoughts.
This person was the love of my life and the relationship was at a pretty good point actually. The cheating came out of nowhere. She said herself that I was the perfect partner even after I asked multiple times to tell me, what was wrong with me or the relationship. The reason of her cheating was because she simply fell in love with the other guy. There was really literally nothing I could've done to prevent that from happening.
First healing steps (1 month after breakup):
After a month I survived the worst and was able to live without any of the symptoms appearing I stated above. In that time frame I focused a lot on myself. Started to workout, changed my appearance, got rid of anything that even slightly reminded me of her, slept more, ate healthier, changed even the room I lived in and of course went into no contact. Got rid of her on any of my social medias and even stopped contact to her entire friends group to really cut ties. I also demanded from her to not contact me for the next 6 months, which was the time frame she had that internship abroad. It was tough but in the end I was disciplined enough to go through with that.
Final Closure (6 months AB):
We then met 6 months later and found closure. She was crying 90% of the time and we had a decent talk about everything. Still, she said it was the perfect relationship but at that point she was together with the other dude. After that I told her that she should never contact me again and wait for me to contact her. I told her that I won't ever be her friend, because I'm too attracted to her and since she decided to fuck up in the worst possibile way, I would never find the trust to be in a relationship with her again, nor have sex with her again, so there is no room for her in my life anymore but maybe it changes in the future. This caused me to feel bad for 2 weeks again but after that I felt sooo much better. I was still mourning the breakup but I was able to feel so much better about everything, so I finally deleted her number, which was the last thing I had from her.
The Slow Progress-Phase (7-15 months AB):
From that point on I only thought about her in my worst times, when I was really down. Feelings like hate, anger, sadness and pure resentment came up. This came in waves, whenever I felt bad. When I had a good time, I didn't even think about her. I also dated someone else for a few months but that didn't work out. Too much trauma from that breakup. So deep down I still was holding a grudge and fueled all my negative feelings into this experience until one day I tried to get rid of my victimhood. I noticed how comfortable I felt in the victim-mentality, which was something I had since my childhood.
The Tipping point in the healing Progress trough a simple concept (15 months AB):
This is when I stumbled upon the best advice that I have ever gotten to get rid of the last amount of pain from the breakup. In order to get rid of victim-mentally you need to practice "RESPONSIBILITY". I was reading the book "the subtle art of how not to give a fuck" and there I learned about this, which is actually so simple but something I didn't thought about. In the book he makes the example of a baby that is put on your doorstep. It is not your fault that the baby is there but it is your responsibility to take care of it, because otherwise it would die and nobody would just leave the baby there. Translated to breakups, it might not be your fault that you have to go through the breakup but it is now your responsibility.
This concept made me understand so much about my breakup. It shifted my way of thinking and I started to completely get rid of any grudge I had for my ex. I gave her the responsibility to deal with my pain in some way. Deep down I wanted her to come back apologize, beg for having me back and having me in my life, so I could give her the pain she caused me but that was simply unrealistic and it also wouldn't have helped me really. The real healing came when I started to take away any blame and just took responsibilty for that breakup.
Now some of you might say: "Wait, but you did nothing wrong. She was the f*cked up person, who cheated and it was all her fault..." - You are completely right. The problem is, what I found for myself is that this way of thinking caused me to never truly heal. I still felt so worthless and that people, not just her, abandon me easily because I'm not worth to be loved or to be treated well. That I lack all the traits someone needs to be loved until I started to take responsibility. Instead of thinking it was all her fault, I started to make it my fault and take responsibility for the breakup. I know it is not my fault but truth is, this actually helped me tremendously to get over the breakup much more quickly and I explain to you why.
Take back the power:
When you blame the other person, you give that person all the power over your pain. Power this person never wanted and this person doesn't deserve at all. If you shift this and blame yourself for the breakup, you simply take the power back. No matter if it was your fault or not. You are just no longer dependent on anything from this person anymore. Everything is now in your responsibility, meaning whatever you come up with why the breakup occured is something you work on and that will make you a better partner next time. If you would give the power away to the other person you're dependant of an action from the other person that might never come and will slow your healing progress,
In my example I started to realise that the guy she decided to be with and whom she loved more is someone, who was earning more, he was more social, he was more attractive, more confident, had a better apartment and was much more skilled in the carrier path, she is in than I was. After I realised all that, I was just simply motivated to work harder on myself and in life in general and the more I worked on myself, the less I thought about her. Once I also changed my mindset about the whole thing, I simply didn't care anymore about her and this guy. Obviously there will always be a tiny feeling left but after 2.5 years it comes up maybe once a month for a short moment but than it stays away for a loooong while.
Truth is that I hate comparisons and to think this way but in reality society taught us to be this way atleast where I was raised. From a child on you get marks in school and the better marks you get the better you're treated, I hate it but since this is what I was raised to believe, this is what I feel comfortable in. So I simply was able to accept her cheating and be done with it. I was now motivated to be better then this guy and be the better choice for someone entirely else so this would never happen again. Is this the right way longterm? I don't know. I kinda doubt it tbh but did it help me to heal? YES!!! Totally and it might help you, too.

2024.05.12 21:08 CF-Engineer No communication to ECM but van starts
Hi first time poster here. My van starts and runs fine, but the srs light is on, therefore i tried scanning it with my fault code reader Icarsoft CR MAX. It finds some modules, it can read those codes such as ABS, and cleared that. But it cannot find the ECM nor the airbag module, it says it's not fitted
I removed the Battery which was replaced 2022, cleaned the poles and charged the battery over night. I removed the ECM and airbag module and cleaned the pins, I inspected the compartment fusebox and it's wires.
Still nothing, i cannot scan the ECM, i don't understand

Vehicle: Citroën Jumper 30 2.2 HDi Manual, 100hp, 2009 with engine code: 4HV
Any tips?

This is one of those videos that I seldom see mentioned when people compile their list of favorite Misfits song. And I don't understand why. Granted, it's The Misfits being obnoxious, but isn't that what they're supposed to do for this series?
Tune is catchy, vocals are awesome, and by the standards of this series, the lyrics are also great. The video itself doesn't quite measure up, but it certainly isn't terrible. Overall, this video captures very well The Misfits' ambitious nature.
I especially like the refrain "We're takin' it a-a-a-a-a-ll. (We're takin' it, takin' it, takin' it all.")
Ironically, this song was used in the contest with Jem and the Holograms, and lost to Jem and the Holograms', Music is Magic. Personally, I thought The Misfits had a much better performance. Perhaps it was Jem's amazing high notes for Music is Magic that scored them the win.

Number 4: Surprise! Surprise! 68
"Do you like surprises?"
Not from The Misfits, I don't. At the beginning, the lyrics seem fairly innocuous, even benign. But the music, coupled with Pizzazz's ominous delivery, communicate beautifully that any surprise offered by The Misfits will be anything but pleasant.And the video worked very well with a fantasy sequence of what else? The Misfits tormenting Jem and the Holograms with nasty surprises.

Number 3: I'm Gonna Change (Roxy) 109
While this song is credited as being performed just by Roxy, it's obvious that Ellen Bernfeld performed this and used Pizzazz's voice. And there are backing vocals, which makes this a Misfits song in all but credit.
Roxy has decided to abandon The Misfits and live for herself. And this is her personal Declaration of Independence. It is nice to see this new insight into her character and find out that she can register other emotions besides anger and extreme contempt.
The video is quite excellent, underscoring Roxy's illiteracy as letters of the alphabet, incomprehensible to Roxy, blow in the wind like leaves. The way it alternates between black and white and full-color is an interesting effect.
I was planning on excluding this one in my ranking, as it's just Roxy and not all The Misfits. But I decided this is an undervalued gem (no pun intended) and add it to the list.

Number 2: I Like Your Style 73 (The title is actually "I Like Her Style" according to the opening credit, but the refrain is "I like your style.")
Welcome to The Misfits, Jetta! And may I say your debut was awesome?I think this one is so criminally underappreciated. The tune is catchy. The lyrics on point; for once, Pizzazz isn't singing about herself or her entitlement. The animation didn't do any fantasy sequence for this song; it depicted Pizzazz being Pizzazz, but hey, that's not always a bad thing. Jetta's sax was a nice touch, a few riffs here and there and not intruding on the singing. Love Stormer's and Roxy's backing vocals, too.
Why does this never seem to make anyone's top ten list? What's not to like about it?

Number 1: Universal Appeal 18
I've seen this one in Top Misfits Songs before, and for once, I understand why.
Music, lyrics, video, all are on point. The video was especially enjoyable, particularly the eclipse at the beginning, with Jem as the sun and Pizzazz as the moon. I also enjoyed the refrain of "universal appeal" when Roxy and Stormer come in from opposite sides. For once, Roxy isn't scowling or contemptuously sneering, and actually seems to be enjoying herself. I was so surprised by this, I almost started to like Roxy. I'm not kidding. I was looking at her in this video and thinking, "Who the hell are you, and what have you done with the real Roxy?"
Even The Misfits' costumes were cool. Reminiscent of the 1930s, but with a modern twist, down to the pillbox hat worn by Pizzazz.
This may their best one. Maybe even the best number in the series.

In a word, bland. I've heard worse, but this song is so utterly flavorless and lacking in Misfits' character that it could be just as easily be sung by Jem and the Holograms. I can't even award extra points for Jetta's sax playing.
Besides, the song suggests that The Misfits are adverse to work. And while The Misfits' have many, many faults, laziness is not one of them. They often go to great lengths to put their machinations into operation, and they didn't attain their ability by being indolent. They have been seen many times in rehearsals. Say what you will about The Misfits, but they are hard workers.
This song just isn't The Misfits.

Oscar Wilde described foxhunting as, “The unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable!”
Pretty insipid, flavorless stuff. The only thing that really stands out about this video is watching Jetta fall off a horse.

Another meh-fest. The most interesting thing about this video is the visuals itself. Pizzazz decked out as royalty and Jem and the Holograms bowing in homage to her. The song itself is lackluster.

Number 2: Outta My Way 1
Not just the first song by The Misfits, but the first song in the entire series.And to put it kindly, this is not an auspicious beginning. If I were watching this series from the beginning when it first came out, once I saw this video, I might have thought, "If this is what this series has to offer, I think I'll pass on the rest of it." The music's okay, but the lyrics are repetitious and not especially clever. If nothing else can be said for it, it does establish the general tone of The Misfits as a group, as their songs tend to be pushy, aggressive and very self-centered.
The video was a bit disturbing, as it depicts The Misfits torturing Jerrica. I was somewhat shocked when Pizzazz put on the boxing gloves; I expected it to depict Pizzazz beating up Jerrica in a boxing ring. Thankfully, Pizzazz only punched a target on a dunk tank that Jerrica was seated in. (You're meant to hit the target on dunk tanks with baseballs, not punch it. But since when does Pizzazz ever play fair?)
The visuals are what gives this song its low rating. Although the repetitious lyrics are hardly a saving grace.When viewed against the other Misfits songs in the series, this one comes across as a generic Misfits song, but a rather vapid one.

Number 1 (Worst of the Worst): Jack, Take A Hike 58
Full disclosure: like several songs in this series, this one was used more than once. And the first time I saw this one was in the episode, "The Jazz Player," where Pizzazz interrupts 1940's jazz trumpeter Tapps Tucker and physically forces him out of the studio. This is a new low, even by The Misfits' standards. Hence, my opinions on this might be somewhat biased by disgust, especially since the accompanying video to this song depicts a fantasy sequence in which The Misfits (mostly Pizzazz) torment the elderly musician, treatment normally reserved for Jerrica and Jem and the Holograms.

Five Best Misfits Songs:
Number 5: Takin' It All 14This is one of those videos that I seldom see mentioned when people compile their list of favorite Misfits song. And I don't understand why. Granted, it's The Misfits being obnoxious, but isn't that what they're supposed to do for this series?
Tune is catchy, vocals are awesome, and by the standards of this series, the lyrics are also great. The video itself doesn't quite measure up, but it certainly isn't terrible. Overall, this video captures very well The Misfits' ambitious nature.
I especially like the refrain "We're takin' it a-a-a-a-a-ll. (We're takin' it, takin' it, takin' it all.")
Ironically, this song was used in the contest with Jem and the Holograms, and lost to Jem and the Holograms', Music is Magic. Personally, I thought The Misfits had a much better performance. Perhaps it was Jem's amazing high notes for Music is Magic that scored them the win.

Number 4: Surprise! Surprise! 68
"Do you like surprises?"
Not from The Misfits, I don't. At the beginning, the lyrics seem fairly innocuous, even benign. But the music, coupled with Pizzazz's ominous delivery, communicate beautifully that any surprise offered by The Misfits will be anything but pleasant.And the video worked very well with a fantasy sequence of what else? The Misfits tormenting Jem and the Holograms with nasty surprises.

Number 3: I'm Gonna Change (Roxy) 109
While this song is credited as being performed just by Roxy, it's obvious that Ellen Bernfeld performed this and used Pizzazz's voice. And there are backing vocals, which makes this a Misfits song in all but credit.
Roxy has decided to abandon The Misfits and live for herself. And this is her personal Declaration of Independence. It is nice to see this new insight into her character and find out that she can register other emotions besides anger and extreme contempt.
The video is quite excellent, underscoring Roxy's illiteracy as letters of the alphabet, incomprehensible to Roxy, blow in the wind like leaves. The way it alternates between black and white and full-color is an interesting effect.
I was planning on excluding this one in my ranking, as it's just Roxy and not all The Misfits. But I decided this is an undervalued gem (no pun intended) and add it to the list.

Number 2: I Like Your Style 73 (The title is actually "I Like Her Style" according to the opening credit, but the refrain is "I like your style.")
Welcome to The Misfits, Jetta! And may I say your debut was awesome?I think this one is so criminally underappreciated. The tune is catchy. The lyrics on point; for once, Pizzazz isn't singing about herself or her entitlement. The animation didn't do any fantasy sequence for this song; it depicted Pizzazz being Pizzazz, but hey, that's not always a bad thing. Jetta's sax was a nice touch, a few riffs here and there and not intruding on the singing. Love Stormer's and Roxy's backing vocals, too.
Why does this never seem to make anyone's top ten list? What's not to like about it?

Number 1: Universal Appeal 18
I've seen this one in Top Misfits Songs before, and for once, I understand why.
Music, lyrics, video, all are on point. The video was especially enjoyable, particularly the eclipse at the beginning, with Jem as the sun and Pizzazz as the moon. I also enjoyed the refrain of "universal appeal" when Roxy and Stormer come in from opposite sides. For once, Roxy isn't scowling or contemptuously sneering, and actually seems to be enjoying herself. I was so surprised by this, I almost started to like Roxy. I'm not kidding. I was looking at her in this video and thinking, "Who the hell are you, and what have you done with the real Roxy?"
Even The Misfits' costumes were cool. Reminiscent of the 1930s, but with a modern twist, down to the pillbox hat worn by Pizzazz.
This may their best one. Maybe even the best number in the series.

Five Worst Misfits Songs:
Number 5: Free And Easy 106In a word, bland. I've heard worse, but this song is so utterly flavorless and lacking in Misfits' character that it could be just as easily be sung by Jem and the Holograms. I can't even award extra points for Jetta's sax playing.
Besides, the song suggests that The Misfits are adverse to work. And while The Misfits' have many, many faults, laziness is not one of them. They often go to great lengths to put their machinations into operation, and they didn't attain their ability by being indolent. They have been seen many times in rehearsals. Say what you will about The Misfits, but they are hard workers.
This song just isn't The Misfits.

Number 2: Outta My Way 1
Not just the first song by The Misfits, but the first song in the entire series.And to put it kindly, this is not an auspicious beginning. If I were watching this series from the beginning when it first came out, once I saw this video, I might have thought, "If this is what this series has to offer, I think I'll pass on the rest of it." The music's okay, but the lyrics are repetitious and not especially clever. If nothing else can be said for it, it does establish the general tone of The Misfits as a group, as their songs tend to be pushy, aggressive and very self-centered.
The video was a bit disturbing, as it depicts The Misfits torturing Jerrica. I was somewhat shocked when Pizzazz put on the boxing gloves; I expected it to depict Pizzazz beating up Jerrica in a boxing ring. Thankfully, Pizzazz only punched a target on a dunk tank that Jerrica was seated in. (You're meant to hit the target on dunk tanks with baseballs, not punch it. But since when does Pizzazz ever play fair?)
The visuals are what gives this song its low rating. Although the repetitious lyrics are hardly a saving grace.When viewed against the other Misfits songs in the series, this one comes across as a generic Misfits song, but a rather vapid one.

Number 1 (Worst of the Worst): Jack, Take A Hike 58
Full disclosure: like several songs in this series, this one was used more than once. And the first time I saw this one was in the episode, "The Jazz Player," where Pizzazz interrupts 1940's jazz trumpeter Tapps Tucker and physically forces him out of the studio. This is a new low, even by The Misfits' standards. Hence, my opinions on this might be somewhat biased by disgust, especially since the accompanying video to this song depicts a fantasy sequence in which The Misfits (mostly Pizzazz) torment the elderly musician, treatment normally reserved for Jerrica and Jem and the Holograms.

Hi team, I found this sub really useful when preparing for my test. After my lessons I'd make a note of anything I did wrong to stop me repeating mistakes. I read over these in the days leading up to my test so they'd stick in my mind. Sharing below, I know not everyone will find learning in this way helpful, but hopefully they're useful to someone!
I really thought I'd failed about midway through, but remembered someone on this sub said you need to concentrate on what's next on the test and not think about what's already happened. As I didn't get any faults that shows how easy it is to get in your own head and worry!
All the Show Me/ Tell Me notes are specific to the Fiesta I did the test in so just edit them to your / your instructors car.
The end is on the tricky parts of the Bromley test route, my instructor highlighted them as where people slip up and fail so I wrote down how to handle them.
I found the test route walkthrough on https://www.youtube.com/@DrivingSchoolTV really helpful, especially where he says you're doing the test because you are a safe driver and you just need to show that, which was really good for pre-test nerves.
Notes
Don’t chase an amber light
Check all 6 spots (including blind spot) before moving off or doing manoeuvres
During manoeuvres always look around and be nosy!
Watch speed when there’s an open road - especially when entering new road
Don't worry about getting up to speed in a built up area - go slow
Look around looking for indicators – especially on buses
Keep checking mirrors
Hill Start – Check over right shoulder, then all mirrors, then right shoulder again. Indicate right. Get biting point with clutch, then add accelerator. Take off handbrake and move away.
When turning off a road slow up to almost a stop before turning, if there's a car coming wait, better to do it slow than rush the turn
Look back in the mirror every time you use the brake
Make sure when stopping in a traffic jam to not cover any exits on the left
6 point check before moving off every time
On test the examiner will be looking for you to check blind spots every time
Crossing at crossroads, if going straight over you have right of way ahead of someone turning right onto it across you
Junctions with a million things going on, keep concentrating on your lane and the lights
In a 30 zone get into 3rd as quickly as you go from 1st to 2nd
If you're behind a bus, leave a lot of room in case they stop and you have to go round
Moving down a gear - brake to the speed you want and then select the gear.
On instructors car:
How to open the bonnet
Bay parking - on test you will have to do either reverse or forward, you get to pick if you want left or right
Reverse - left - go third line from target Bay in line with passenger handle. Adjust mirror so it's looking down. Slowly on clutch, go full lock down to the left and ease round into the space. Go a little further round before straightening wheel. Driver is just in back half of space (make sure the front isn't peaking out)
Front - right - line 2 spaces away in line with bottom of windscreen. Slowly on clutch, go full lock down to the right and ease round into the space. Straighten wheel
If you're going in between two cars and it's tight on the far corner, you can reverse and straighten up to go in
To straighten up, turn the wheel slightly to the side where the space is, slowly clutch up move and turn the wheel the other way at straighten up
Parallel Parking – straighten up next to car, reverse til half past car. Adjust passenger mirror to look down. Look around. Full lock down to left as moving behind car.
Get til car is bit further than 45 degrees sticking out from the curb -
Keep looking around, checking blind spots
two full rotations down to right while going very slowly with foot on brake, car will speed up as camber (steep) of road
Look all around, do not stare at wing mirror
Continue reversing - going forward is a minor, but fine if you touch the curb
When car door is parallel with curb in wing mirror straighten up while reversing
Can't go more than 2 car lengths behind car in front.
Sort your mirror out when you're done.
Pulling up on the right - look for somewhere with a lot of space on the right, check all mirrors and blind spot, indicate, then slowly go over to the right, get close to the curb and straighten up. Handbrake, cancel signal, and go into neutral. Examiner will ask you to reverse 2 car lengths. Make sure you check all spots and mirrors again, before slowly reversing, keeping the car straight. To straighten up turn the wheel to where the space is. Right hand mirror parallel to curb. Stop if anyone approaches. Examiner will tell you when to stop. Put the handbrake on and go into neutral. To move off, check all mirrors and spots, indicate, and move away.
Emergency stop - make sure to brake then clutch quickly
2.1 Show me how you would check that the direction indicators are working.
Turn hazards on - shows both are working. Then walk around car and check all six are working.
2.2 Show me how you would check the brake lights are working on this car, (if you need to switch the ignition on, please don’t start the engine).
Operate brake pedal, make use of reflections in windows, garage doors, etc, or ask someone to help, (may need to switch ignition on, prompt not to start engine).
2.3 Show me, or explain how you would check that the power assisted steering is working before starting a journey.
If the steering becomes heavy the system may not be working properly. Before starting a journey two simple checks can be made. Gentle pressure on the steering wheel, maintained while the engine is started, should result in a slight but noticeable movement as the system begins to operate. Alternatively turning the steering wheel just after moving off will give an immediate indication that the power assistance is functioning.
2.4 Show me how you would check the parking brake (handbrake) for excessive wear; make sure you keep safe control of the vehicle.
Apply footbrake firmly. Demonstrate by applying parking brake (handbrake) so that when it is fully applied it secures itself, and is not at the end of the working travel.
2.5 Show me how you would check that the horn is working.
Beep beep!
2.6 Show me how you would clean the windscreen using the windscreen washer and wipers.
Rear windscreen - push the right indicator away from driver.
Front windscreen - pull the right indicator toward the driver.
2.65 Show me how you would switch on your dipped headlights.
Turn dial behind steering wheel once to the left. Green light on dashboard shows it is on. Turn it once back to the right to go to automatic headlights.
2.7 Show me how you would switch on the rear fog light(s) and explain when you would use it/them, (no need to exit vehicle).
Turn on dipped headlights and then press the lower of the two buttons to the left of the dial (has a little fog symbol). Check warning light is on the dashboard (orange light, same symbol as on the button). You would use the fog light when visibility is less than 100 meters.
2.8 Show me how you switch your headlight from dipped to main beam and explain how you would know the main beam is on.
Turn on ignition, turn on dipped headlights, then push left indicator away from you. Blue light on dashboard shows that it is on.
2.9 Show me how you would set the demister controls to clear all the windows effectively.
Rear demister is on the left of the panel under the radio. Turn it off by pressing it again.
Front demister is middle of the panel under radio. Use the off button on the right of that panel, which turns off everything front demister has turned on.
2.10 Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine oil level and tell me how you would check that the engine has sufficient oil.
Mid left stick. To check wipe with cloth and dip back in and see if the oil is between the min & max markers
2.11 Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine coolant level and tell me how you would check that the engine has the correct level.
Wide bottle on the left. Never open when hot. Check that coolant is between min & max
2.12 Open the bonnet, identify where the brake fluid reservoir is and tell me how you would check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid.
Identify reservoir, check level against high/low markings.
Brakes should not feel spongy or slack. Brakes should be tested as you set off. Vehicle should not pull to one side.
3.3 Tell me where you would find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Manufacturer’s guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don’t forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
3.4 Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable. Adjust using button at the base. Note: Some restraints might not be adjustable.
3.5 Tell me how you would check the tyres to ensure that they have sufficient tread depth and that their general condition is safe to use on the road.
No cuts and bulges, 1.6mm of tread depth across the central 3/4 of the breadth of the tyre and around the entire outer circumference. Check using a tread depth gauge.
3.6 Tell me how you would check that the headlights and tail lights are working (no need to exit vehicle).
Turn ignition on, turn dial on right of the wheel one click to the left. Then walk round the vehicle.
3.7 Tell me how you would know if there was a problem with your anti lock braking system.
Orange ABS Warning light should illuminate if there is a fault with the anti lock braking system. It flashes on when the ignition is turned on.
Bromley
Turn out from behind station, keep to the right then, sharp turn onto the left lane, must start from the right as the lanes are busy and tight
There's a junction where you go over and it looks like a straight but must be treated as a right turn, then left turn
There's a sharp right turn on a left bend, so go really slow in first around the bend and turn when it's clear
The one way system that is like a round about, you must get over to the left as you go past the turn before your turn so you don't get stuck in right lane
Going under railway - tunnel is really tight, so go slow and make sure there's no-one oncoming, so you can go over the centre line or you clip the wall on the left
Look out for crossing over to Lewisham - as Lewisham is mostly 20mph

Turn dial behind steering wheel once to the left. Green light on dashboard shows it is on. Turn it once back to the right to go to automatic headlights.
2.7 Show me how you would switch on the rear fog light(s) and explain when you would use it/them, (no need to exit vehicle).
Turn on dipped headlights and then press the lower of the two buttons to the left of the dial (has a little fog symbol). Check warning light is on the dashboard (orange light, same symbol as on the button). You would use the fog light when visibility is less than 100 meters.
2.8 Show me how you switch your headlight from dipped to main beam and explain how you would know the main beam is on.
Turn on ignition, turn on dipped headlights, then push left indicator away from you. Blue light on dashboard shows that it is on.
2.9 Show me how you would set the demister controls to clear all the windows effectively.
Rear demister is on the left of the panel under the radio. Turn it off by pressing it again.
Front demister is middle of the panel under radio. Use the off button on the right of that panel, which turns off everything front demister has turned on.
2.10 Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine oil level and tell me how you would check that the engine has sufficient oil.
Mid left stick. To check wipe with cloth and dip back in and see if the oil is between the min & max markers
2.11 Open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine coolant level and tell me how you would check that the engine has the correct level.
Wide bottle on the left. Never open when hot. Check that coolant is between min & max
2.12 Open the bonnet, identify where the brake fluid reservoir is and tell me how you would check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid.
Identify reservoir, check level against high/low markings.

Brakes should not feel spongy or slack. Brakes should be tested as you set off. Vehicle should not pull to one side.
3.3 Tell me where you would find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Manufacturer’s guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don’t forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.
3.4 Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable. Adjust using button at the base. Note: Some restraints might not be adjustable.
3.5 Tell me how you would check the tyres to ensure that they have sufficient tread depth and that their general condition is safe to use on the road.
No cuts and bulges, 1.6mm of tread depth across the central 3/4 of the breadth of the tyre and around the entire outer circumference. Check using a tread depth gauge.
3.6 Tell me how you would check that the headlights and tail lights are working (no need to exit vehicle).
Turn ignition on, turn dial on right of the wheel one click to the left. Then walk round the vehicle.

Orange ABS Warning light should illuminate if there is a fault with the anti lock braking system. It flashes on when the ignition is turned on.

There's a junction where you go over and it looks like a straight but must be treated as a right turn, then left turn
There's a sharp right turn on a left bend, so go really slow in first around the bend and turn when it's clear
The one way system that is like a round about, you must get over to the left as you go past the turn before your turn so you don't get stuck in right lane
Going under railway - tunnel is really tight, so go slow and make sure there's no-one oncoming, so you can go over the centre line or you clip the wall on the left
Look out for crossing over to Lewisham - as Lewisham is mostly 20mph

For they indeed hate Brian, Stefi, the band, and the Solemates. They cast such fowel names upon us and say we are mentally untested, dirty, pale, unwell, et cetera. I was at the pub in Smolensk, Brussels, where I got into a big debate about Placebo with these two nasty Englishman. They insulted the Soulmates and Brian. I, in turn, insulted their prefered hero-band, Oasis. We then had harsh words. And later, they caught me alone in the bathroom and took my body apart. It was a massive attack. I had stood alone at the urinal when these two Englishmen quietly entered and got me. One man held me from behind, while the other man burnt my sideburn with his lit cigarette. He cupped my mouth to stiffle my scream, then knead into my balls many consecutive times. He followed with a headsbutts, right between my eyes. And then he and the other brute headbutted me back and forth as though I were but a ping-pongs ball. This went on until blood erupted from my every pores. I bled so much and cried so much. Delusional, I shouted for Steff, "Brian's Champion," to explode from the tiled wall and kill these men. But Stef did not come because he could not hear me. (He was probably out with Brian somewhere, doing some fun activity.) When I finally collapsed down into the toilet seat with my pants pulled down, these cruel guys glassed my abs with their broken beer bottles. I firmly resisted the urge to fight beck, and so I just kept my arms by my sides to fully receive the stabes. The pain was incredulous. Much blood and urine fell into the water below, and the tension was feverish. I screamed into the heavens with a sexy voice -- not unlike Rian Molok's voice. Because of the cuts, I had lost quarts of my fluid, and I thought I was to die. In return, I pushed back harder -- the culmination of which was my self-dismissle from this subsboard. Immediately after this events, I maintained the radio silence and went away as promised. However, there is more to the story. I, Chris, have now come to tell you about what had happen to me in the aftermath of our disastrous breakup. The strain almost killed me dead. After I was collected by these paramedics, they took me to the clinic of rehabilitation in Poultice Marsala, Charleroi, Brussles. I would remain in this reccoperation facility for the next 48 hours. "You are most lucky you are still alife, Monsieur Chris." said the doctor. "For you were nearly without clothing and had consumed fat too much alcohol beverages. Certainly, the process could have killed you. Luckily, the curious memo you held in your hand (the Placebo comic) roused the suspicions of the constabulary. He in turn called the paramedics, who, in turn, picked you up and took you here: to this state-of-the-art Belgium Detoxification Center.” Yes, my friends, I, Chris, was almost killed by alcohol and exposure to cool weather as I lounged, half-undressed, in the filthy alley in Belgium. If not for that Placebo comic, no one would have ever noticed my wilting body. For it was the comic, with the cover featuring the sexy art of Brian, which caught the eye of passersby, and this kind sole then called the paramedic. So, indeed, again, Placebo has saved my life. These pretendos claim to be "Soulmates," but they ain't, and they attack Chris with a regretful passion that rivals Hitler at the height of his pressure-gasm. These are the ones Brain complains about in his song, "Surrounded by spies." There are two Sole mates of this subsboard whose names I will no say, but they are the worst critics of all. One guy, I know, is a powerful enemy Shaman (a huge black guy from Jamaican who works in West London). This man not only made fun of me on the subsboard but also sickened me with a demonic attack he issued from the airwaves. Devil ghosts shit from my private JVC stereo receiver at home, and the pestilence caused the UTI that I still cannot shake. And truly, I feel like I nearly was killed by this sadistic gentleman -- this spearmint voodoo tactician, who is cowardly, too. I add this because when I challenged him to hand-to-hans combat in a mutual setting, someplace unspecified in Europe, this guy just smiled wickedly. The other bad guy of whom I speak identifies himself as "a nice teacher from Kent and LGBT activist." He wears sweater vests and pretends to be kind to all; he is also quite smug and brags about his "little, modest house," which ain't modest at all, but real big. But he ain't a good guy. He is a psychopathic liar. He attacked my writing something awful. And when I said I would meet him at his house in Kent to discuss your differences, he told me to "GO Fock Yourself." (He is CLEARLY a racist pig against the French, and he is still mad about the wars between the English and French, which took place eons ago. What a dickshead!)
