I’m confused about the pixel refresh system - whenever I turn off my pc it always gives me the prompt to pixel refresh, even though I had not selected the option to do so before. When I click the ‘no’ prompt it goes into a standby mode and then I just turn it off using the power button. I did some research and people say I shouldn’t click yes but some say stuff like ‘maybe it hasn’t done one in a whole’ but I did one almost every other day when I got the monitor but stopped after a week to check if it was safe or not. I’m just overall confused if I should or should not be clicking yes to the prompt and whether I or not I should be doing them at all. (It usually lasts about 3 mins for the refresh each time I did press yes).

Hi friends. Own a 2015 and looking to add a 2025-2026, or a refreshed Lexus IS when these eventually get released.
Question on those who are lucky enough to be in the US and have access to the new model, are the paddle shifters still weird in the sense that these only function to limit the max gear the car can be in?
On our 2015 in S mode, having the car in '4' allows the car only 4th gear max but you dont really control which gear it is in at the moment.
In our older Civic, the car would try to hold the gear until a lowest preprogrammed speed before downshifting. If you forced it to upshift, it also would even though the rpms in the higher gear wasnt ideal. Not the case in our toyota.
Bonus question, cross shopping with an IS300h, if anyone has one, how do the paddle shifters behave?

I recently got a new QLED 4K TV from TCL. It was great for PS5 4K content. But when I hooked up my PS3, PS4, and Nintendo Switch I noticed that games running at 30 FPS felt laggy even on Game mode, especially with first-person and 3rd person views, when previously playing them on my (now busted) 1080p 60 Hz non-gaming monitor was ok.
So I am now looking for a new monitor for my legacy consoles. Seeing as there are new monitor technologies out, (since I last bought one, the fastest mainstream monitor then was 144 Hz, now I'm amazed with 500 Hz monitors being announced) is there any tangible benefit with buying monitors above 60 Hz refresh? Or should I be looking more into response time, or some other monitor spec I have no knowldege about? Or am I better off buying a 1080p 60 Hz TV (since they are cheaper size-wise)? I know I'm not getting above 60 FPS with these machines, but I'm more interested in smooth and lag-free gameplay, not hindered by any post-processing or outdated panel technology.

Before submitting a comment about an issue, the #1 thing any user should do when they first experience issues with a new update is to follow these troubleshooting steps.

If issues still persist despite the efforts made in this thread, report the issue to cricut.

⭐⭐Print then Cut users⭐⭐
Calibrate your machine right after an update as your calibration settings will not carry over into the latest update. Follow the advice of the calibration guide. Then do a test print then cut of your project using plain printer paper.
If for some reason after calibration your cuts are still inaccurate, clear cache (the troubleshooting guide above this) and try calibration again.

If you are experiencing issues despite clearing cache, please give some background information:

  • Cricut machine (Joy, Joy Xtra, Explore Air 2, Explore air 3, Maker, Maker 3, etc.).
  • Device (Windows 10, Window 11, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android).
  • Type of project you were attempting to do. (Basic cut, print then cut, drawing, foiling, scoring, etc.)
  • Were you successful in doing this project in the past? Or is this a new project?

What has changed (Desktop v8.30.64)? Update on May 6, 2024.

Over the last 6 weeks we've fixed 74 software defects, including the following priority field issues and reliability concerns:

  • After disabling specific contours, the bounding box encloses the remaining ones within the Canvas.
  • Images not uploading.
  • Upon selecting, it appears that some of the ‘Make It Now’ projects in the Canvas have disappeared.
  • Right-clicking and selecting “View image sets” from the Layers panel often displays irrelevant images.
  • Selecting certain fonts in the font selection process is causing delays in rendering on the Canvas
  • The text box fails to load on the Canvas, and adding a text field in Chinese is not possible
  • Changes made to the latest project are lost upon sharing.
- Draw projects are being opened as cuts instead of drawings, resulting in a color change.
- Save a project on iOS, then open it on desktop, and notice that the changes fail to appear.
  • The Canvas tab disappears and it takes longer for the Canvas tab to load.
  • The saved project only shows letters on the Canvas, but double-tapping the text box reveals the entire sentences.
  • After finishing cutting the mat that's off-screen, the scrollbar scrolled back to the top instead of moving to the next mat.
  • My Stuff doesn't show any projects, and the collection is displayed without a name.
  • Follow button is not working on profile page
  • Profile links that are copied and pasted shows Blank home page.
  • Forever stuck on the project details page, with both the customize and make buttons greyed out.
  • Print Then Cut images appear distorted or the print preview is not accurate

  • The Print Then Cut quality warning message is preventing the user from proceeding to make it.
  • Clicking "View All" on recent uploads either redirects to the Inspire/Discover page or results in the inability to access the full set of uploaded images.
  • The Canvas performance drastically slows down when inserting high-quality uploaded images.
  • The functionality of the automatic background remover has stopped working.
  • Uploaded high-resolution images, those above 300 DPI, are displaying low-resolution warnings.
  • When uploading an image with a resolution exceeding 300 DPI, it undergoes downsizing, accompanied by a low-resolution warning message for each uploaded image.
  • The image icon that regulates the number of images per line remains unresponsive.
  • The image loses focus when resized, and after hiding contour and resizing, it becomes impossible to move the image upward in the Canvas.
  • There are performance issues with Warp, as it takes more than a second to enter edit mode and experiences lag when additional characters are entered. Additionally, after completing editing and clicking outside the box, there is a delay.
  • There's no prompt to confirm unsaved changes, and the previous unsaved Canvas disappears without any notification to replace or save it.
  • Using the keyboard shortcut cmd + shift + left arrow key to highlight everything results in improper rendering of the highlight.
  • When opening Image Sets, the images load closely together, and the Image Set name tile appears misplaced, positioned between the top and second row instead of the first row.
  • When performing combine, subtract, intersect, or exclude operations and attaching them, the color or operations remains unchangeable.
  • Upon launching the app, users encounter a white screen, a continuous spinner, and a missing refresh token.
  • Even after power cycling and setting the load to go, the -18 machine connection error continues to persist
  • When hovering over the mat control multiple times, the mat preview fails to appear.
  • When toggling the mirror function, the mat selection jumps, causing the left side to scroll back to the top.
  • Cannot remove images from a collection
  • Completing the product setup for a second time with a different machine leads to going to the "Get Started" page without setting the correct machine type.
  • The "Get Started" page on the left rail and the pointer finger suggest that there's a reason to click there.

  • When deleting a Warp within a sticker group, the border is not redrawn.
  • When resizing the sticker image using the Kiss cut & Die-cut Edge option, the image vanishes from the Canvas.
  • After ungrouping and regrouping the text, the font toolbar is unavailable for the group.
  • Apostrophes and quotes fail to transform into their left-right variants, causing coded single and double quote marks to appear instead of the anticipated left and right variants.
  • Text is positioned closer to the bottom right corner, resulting in incorrect text placement after opening a new Canvas and adding new text
  • When using the delete button on the laptop to erase text, it becomes evident that the undo and redo functions are not operating correctly.
  • After changing a color or moving an image, the undo feature fails to function.
  • Users have the ability to delete uploaded images when using new Image Inspiration designs.
  • When attempting to upload an image, a message indicating "unable to upload image" is displayed, prompting users to check their internet connection.
  • The learning plan redirects to the Canvas instead of remaining on the home page.
  • When the uploaded image is added to the Canvas, it displays an image load failure.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 is the worst phone I have owned to date.
the phone is so bad with battery life and i have lost 2% battery in 6 min SOT from 100 on wifi with a full reflash as well and also i have random bugs that come out of know where like a Amazon music would work in to load the app but when to load the music is said no internet, fingerprint things my phone is rotated side ways on the lockscreen and chrome browser need to refresh almost all the time from opening the app and i have had my phone get stuck on 3G until i turn on and off airplane mode.
yesterday was the worst day for the battery life at 50% with 1 hour and 30 min SOT while been off the charger for 6 hours while streaming music and being in a strong 5g signal area for most the trips as well.

I was doing just fine until I got trapped here, now I can't get a single decent game. I win maybe 1 in every 20 games and if I'm lucky I get 3rd maybe one time as well. Across all my games the following scenarios always seem to play out:
  1. Everyone has an absurd draw except for me
  2. Everyone has a garbage ass draw and mine is the worst
  3. Even if I get a good draw everyone else's is way better
  4. I get insane 10+ refresh droughts looking for enablers, or I get one good enabler for every minion type which may as well be eco trash.
  5. Speaking of eco trash, what the actual fuck is going on right now? I'm getting run over by people with 7 creature boards with buffs by turns 3 to 5 with zero chance of recovery. Actually getting to T6 just doesn't happen right now.
  6. And of course, if I try to play the eco trash strat, I always lose in the endgame.
I swear until this point I finally felt like I understood this game mode, now I'm back to "what is this RNG cancer, why is this game like this?" like I don't know anything anymore.

if i want to use next, do i need to use nextauth as the authentication provider? because I cannot get the credentials provider to work both locally and on vercel. my current situation is using nextauth , credentials provider, with a custom authorize function that takes the credentials and hits my API. the problem is that vercel wants me to define the credentials parameter, and it throws a huge error of all the things my unassigned parameters is missing. can i just use any or unknown and public this mess?

Hi everyone!
Me and a friend started playing moded 7d2d a decided to start a new game with the darkness falls mod installed (and it's the only mod installed). We did the scout missions that lead us to Razor POI. When we ask for the quest he give us a buried supplies quest not so far from where he is but at the moment we get the supplies the quest doesn't refresh and we can't retrieve it or finish the quest at all.
Anyone has have this problem before? Any idea of how to solve it?

2024.05.14 01:31 157_unitsofstress Tech heads unite! Need TV advice for a beginner TV noob! I'm confused!

Hello glorious tech heads. I have questions, oh so many questions, about which bloody tv I should get. Ok let's begin.
I'm from Australia. I want a 4K 55” Smart TV. I don’t watch sport, action movies and I don’t game. I only watch Youtube videos and TV and a movie here and there, and play music but Youtube is where I watch the most content.
The most important thing for me in a tv is honestly input lag/latency. I want to press my remote and the Netflix app pops up in 1ms (I know that’s impossible hahah).
My budget is $1500aud. I want to be able to use my phone as the remote, so would need a tv with Airplay 2 or a cheaper smart tv + an Apple TV. I know if I got an Apple TV technically I wouldn’t need a smart tv but I’ve been told smart tvs are still better. I was told that Apple TVs have a better interface than Airplay but I’m not sure what’s better about it and if those things matter to me. Could always start off with Airplay and buy an Apple TV later if I need it.
I have also been told that purchasing a Samsung/LG at $1000 is actually worse than purchasing a TCL/Hisense at $1000, because for that price, more affordable brands offer better specs than the high-end brands at the same price point.
My dream specs if I had it my way:
  1. 100 hz refresh rate (Youtube videos only go up to 60hz but I’ve been told the difference is still obvious and that I won’t get screen tearing with 100hz since I’m not gaming)
  2. Lowest possible response time (6-8ms?)
  3. Lowest possible latency/input lag (approx 9ms give or take?) - but I'm conscious of Auto low latency mode compromising other specs/settings? If ALLM only compromises the fps by a little bit, this shouldn't matter if I have a 100hz refresh rate anyway, right?
  4. Backlighting shouldn’t matter for the content I watch I’m assuming, but if I could choose I’d choose full array (simply because I’ve heard this is the best haha)
  5. Good enough contrast ratio for both light and dark environments
  6. Motion rate 200 (is this correct based on ideal 100Hz refresh rate?)

OnePlus 12 opple full test
The OnePlus 12 is a strange one that is for sure. It comes equipped with an anti-flicker mode. Yet it seems this mode turns pwm dimming on instead of off. It is kinda reversed in the way it works. So with the ultra anti flicker mode off it appears the device utilizes dc dimming. The opple picked up a dip, but I believe that is the refresh rate ( someone please clarify if they know for sure). It uses this dc dimming until it hits 35% brightness when it switches to pwm dimming. It boosts the frequency to 2206 which is high, but increases the modulation to almost 100%. The top modulation however is at such a low lux level and the frequency so high that this will be better for those sensitive than other devices. If we turn the anti-flicker mode on it removes dc dimming and introduces pwm flickering at a frequency of 375hz which is low and a moderate modulation level. In this mode it switches to 2206hz at 35% brightness level just like before which is good for the eyes. From what I can tell this seems like a good device for those sensitive to flickering if indeed that is true dc dimming (I am still not 100% sure it is). Just when you use the device turn the anti-flicker off (this is really counter intuitive). (Note: if that is not true dc dimming then with the anti flicker off it is flickering at a rate of 280hz which is horrible for the eyes).

This has just been absolutely driving me nuts recently. Aside from slowdowns during peak times and all the other jank in SB I just don‘t get why you basically get 1 freebie game every SB refresh (60-70 rated squad) and then every other squad is like 93 rated and is an absolute nightmare on World Class+. It makes no sense because I can hammer 10-0 on a low rated squad and easily get 2k points for it but I can sometimes barely scrape by a win on Professional against these squads and I get like 600 points for it. Also, why the fuck do CBs speedboost back into position just like online. It‘s supposed to be the "casual" game mode yet I still wanna burn EA headquarters every time I have to face a fully AI controlled Van Dyke. Also to finish, I‘m bad at this game, obviously, I can‘t even consistently win on World Class

I also appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to labeling: matching Montagne's font and including the notes makes the sampling process feel very deluxe. Great experience, would order again!
On to the fragrances. Unless stated otherwise, I have not smelled the inspiration fragrances, so I am judging these on their own merit. For your reference, I typically prefer unisex fragrances, but I decided to roll the dice and included three feminine scents this time. I'm 29, and I work in both office and classroom environments. Let's get into it!
Eau Vanille: This one is not for everyone, but it's definitely for me. The rich, deep vanilla combined with the guiac wood and incense smells like going to mass at a grand Cathedral. Sophisticated, solemn, mysterious. I imagine that Notre Dame smells like this on Good Friday. Honestly, it kind of reminds me of my confirmation. I swear, the oil the bishop puts on your (greasy, 13-year-old) forehead smells a lot like this. That said, I love this because it reminds me of a positive moment in my faith formation, but it may evoke complex or negative reactions in others. The incense calms down after a couple of hours, which allows the vanilla to shine. Definitely not too sweet, and reads straightforwardly unisex to me. If you're a vanilla-lover looking for something a bit different with some oomph, this could be for you. Maybe not the best choice for the heat of summer, but I will be looking to purchase the full bottle come autumn. Would wear to my arch-rival's funeral.
Strawberry Milk: The wildcard of the bunch. I did not think I was going to like this because I thought it was going to be extremely juvenile and sickly sweet. I ordered it out of pure curiosity after hearing about the ungodly sums folks were shelling out to get their hands on a bottle. While it's definitely a sweet gourmand, it's not syrupy sweet. It's kind of fruity and powdery and just a bit herbal. There's something in here that comes off a little minty to my nose, which is baffling considering the notes. I'm not getting anything particularly strawberry-like, though. Maybe a hint of something lactonic, like malted milk powder, and a burnt-sugar note that could be caramel. Very wearable if you like sweet scents. Not obtrusive, kind of like if you gave a your-skin-but-better scent some moxie. Certainly not your typical celebrity scent. I could see a lot of women liking this. The longevity wasn't the best on this one, though: I think I got about four hours out of it. I'm not personally in love with it, but I'm glad I tried it.
Pink Rose Exclusif: Good Lord, y'all. This THE hot girl perfume. The most attractive woman you can think of probably wears this. It's a really beautiful, sweet, creamy, powdery rose wrapped in a veil of incense and supported by vanilla and woody notes in the base. There's some fruitiness in there too, particularly in the opening. Despite the powderiness and incense, it's quite edible smelling; like a fruity sponge cake that's also drenched in rose syrup, served immediately after the Confirmation service (callback!). I recognize this scent because I have encountered it in the wild on women wearing Delina Exclusif or its dupes, and it definitely... affects me, shall we say. This will turn heads for sure. It also lasts forever with excellent projection. I put on 3 sprays, wore it all day, went to sleep, and then my pillow and sheets smelled like Pink Rose Exclusif for DAYS, just from coming into contact with my arm. You absolutely do not need much of this. As much as I love it, I'm on the fence about whether to buy it, because I'm not sure how often I would actually wear it. It's a little more femme than my personal style usually calls for, imo. Plus, I'm not sure I want all the attention this would garner. That said, it's a 10/10 frag, I'd go for it today if I were single and ready to mingle. UPDATE: After writing this review, I got the opportunity to test the OG in-store, and I can confirm that this is a 1 to 1 dupe. I don't detect any difference whatsoever. Nice work, Montagne!
Pink Rose: This one humbled me. I had already tried the Exclusif version, and figured this was the more wearable, daytime version. I did my normal application (1 spray each on wrists & inner elbows, 2 sprays on the neck, 1 on the front of my shirt) and then headed to the office. When my coworker told me I smelled good from 6 feet away, I knew I had overdone it. I was smelling this all day long, from the 8:30 AM application until bed time. And not just little whiffs here and there, I'm talking constant presence in my olfactory organ. A little distracting, if I'm honest. Luckily, it's a beautiful fragrance. Florals are hit or miss for me, but I have a soft spot for rose. Whereas the Exclusif smells like rose dessert, this smells like a living rose growing fresh and vibrant in the garden. The litchi and rhubarb bring in a little sharpness, and there's a green accord in there that's really refreshing. This is rose done in a modern, interesting way, and I dig it. Feminine, but in a way that feels manageable for my typical presentation. Despite my initial blunder, I do think it's more every-day wearable than its sister as long as you are conservative with your application. Will buy for sure, and probably sooner rather than later.
Carnal Gray Extrait: In a word: exquisite. This smells like being wealthy, well-traveled, and the hottest person at the function. Charisma in a bottle. Effortlessly sexy without being provocative. It's well blended, but not linear. We start with a spicy, herbaceous opening; you get the cardamom right away, with some sweet green undertones. Then, a beautiful dry down. It becomes more powdery with a bit sweetness thanks to iris, tonka, and vanilla. The woodiness from cedar and sandalwood and earthiness from vetiver and patchouli keep it from going gourmand, and the result is something deep, dark, and complex. Perfect for special occasions where you want to dress to impress, this would be the ultimate companion to a well-tailored suit or a fancy cocktail dress. Apparently folks are somewhat divided on whether Gris Charnel Extrait leans feminine or masculine, but to me, CGE is perfectly unisex. Great performance; three sprays lasts me all day with moderate projection. This is my favorite fragrance from Montagne so far, and in the running for my favorite fragrance of all time. It's probably not the best choice for the hot, humid summer that's coming my way, but I don't even care, this is going to the top of the queue. 12/10, I am writing in my will that I want this sprayed on me before I go in the casket.
Brooklyn Jazz: At last, a fragrance that I can compare to its inspiration! I have smelled and fallen in love with Maison Margiela's Jazz Club, and was super excited to see how the wallet-friendly version from Montagne stacks up. Indeed, it's a very close match. We have a nice peppery opening that gives way to boozy, rum tobacco heaven. It's not in the notes, but this definitely comes off leathery to my nose. It smells like sitting in a leather armchair, sipping on dark liquor, and smoking... some kind of tobacco product. I want to say a pipe rather than a cigar, but neither is my vice of choice, so I can't be sure. Either way, old school badass. Think Ron Swanson in Duke Silver mode. If anything, there is perhaps more of an herbal accord here that I didn't notice in Jazz Club, but that could be due to the translation from EDT to EDP. Masculine leaning, but still suitable for ladies who appreciate smokey scents. Altogether, a lovely warm and cozy scent. Decent longevity, but the projection could be better (maybe needs maceration). I do like it, but I'm more motivated to get my hands on Carnal Gray Extrait and Eau Vanille, both of which are certainly different, but occupy a similar region of the fragrance family tree. I may pick it up after I make it through the summer.

The CPU that we will find inside the RP4P, is the Dimensity 1100, with 4 Performance, xA78 cores, clocked out to run up to 2.6GHz & 4 ECO, xA55 cores, clocked out to run at a maximum of 2.0 GHz. This is an upgrade over the RP4 as that 4 of the 8 cores have a much higher clock rate of 2.6 Ghz, not just 2.0 Ghz. Having this combo of "Eco" and "performace" cores in this device allows you to do things like maximize your game play with INSANE battery life when the proper settings are used during low power tasks, such as NES or SNES emulation for example, to get 8-10 hours (reports vary but this seems to be the average battery life on minimal useage because 'what is minimal useage' varys when put next to 'standby' ). Both models come with 3 "performance" modes baked in to the OS. These are Standard, Performance, and Max performance, and these limit the Cpu cores in different ways to different degrees, which is very usefull when doing tasks that do not need all the power the device has to offer. This keeps temps as low as possible to not warm hands during extended gameplay, ( really even under max load and the slowest fan settings this is not an issue, but in theory it is), and max that battery life, until you need that extra power for tasks that push the limits of the device.

Latency issues are so frustrating, and when you try to get that "Frame Perfect" button press and your bluetooth controllers latency is making this impossible( I know this is on a device that has a controller built in, but when you plug this in to your TV, throw a USB-C hub on there, plug in a ccharger, maybe a harddrive, you need to have a controller at that point) with Bluetooth5.2, you can be assured Low latency and long range, adn the ability to pair multiple devices at once. The next biggest issue for gamers is therir ping (network latency)

This large capacity battery (same size as whats in the samsung s23 ultra BTW) paired with the 4 Eco cores on the CPU, the ability to turn off the fan and control its speeds. Its min speed setting is ALWAYS MORE than enough, never go higher then this to keep battery life up, the fan is a HUGE draw on the battery. I seem to be able to bug it out very often, so even on max performance mode using dreamcast/ps2 emulators, i never see my temps above 55 deg, and STRAIGHT FROM RETROID, they claim " D100 is POP technics, our system show the cpu temperature is junction temperature, not cpu top temperature. when junction temperature arrived 90 degrees, D100 datasheet is allowed high to 125 degrees, so no feel anxious if it arrived 90 degrees. "*source Email with retroid*so dont worry about temnps keep that fan off/lowest setting if your being forced to run it, and always leave your Power Mode on the lowest setting unless what you are play can not run

While the Micro HDMI on this device has a max resolution of 720, so opt for a USB-C hub tht allows HDMI,USB-C PD port for charging and a 2nd for Data transfer, and then Ethernet is a good option to get on this, I got one with all that plus 4 USB3.1 ports for like 12 bucks. The wired 3.5mm jack is refreshing seeing as phones have been lacking these for a long time now.

TRACKS
Mobil 1 & Maple Valley - Maple Valley has been updated with new track signage featuring Mobil 1 branding as part of a partnership between Forza and Mobil 1 to celebrate Mobil 1’s 50th anniversary. Placed a barrier along the pit exit at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. To accommodate this change, leaderboards for this track have been reset. Increased the track material luminance to be more physically correct, improving the overall contrast and color saturation of the track. This affects newly released tracks as well as future track updates. Reset leaderboards for Le Mans track layouts following the changes made to this track in Update 7. Update 8 does not include a new track location – our next track release is scheduled for Update 9, expected to be available in June.
FEATURES AND CHANGES
Livery Editor
Update 8 introduces a Vinyl Material tool to the Livery Editor which can be used to uniformly adjust all vinyl materials on a car from matte (non-reflective) to glossy (reflective). This includes a reset option to revert all vinyls to match car paint glossiness. Imported designs from Forza Horizon 5 using its similar feature will automatically inherit these values. When removing a livery from a vehicle, the color will now be reset to the default manufacturer color instead of the color when the player purchases it. Adjusted the arrangement of hint buttons in Livery Editor at the bottom of the screen. The ‘Find Designs’ menu is now accessible for rental cars when players try to open it from ‘Design & Paint Menu’ and ‘Livery Mode Select’ scenes. Added iconography to layers in the Livery Editor. The player can now see icons to indicate if it’s a mask layer or a locked layer. Other fixes listed in the Release Notes.
Tire Wear Scale
We’ve added a Tire Wear Scale option to Free Play and Private Multiplayer, allowing adjustments to the rate at which tires are worn. 1x is the default value. At 2x, tire wear will occur twice as fast. Values range from .5x to 10x. This setting is found in the Event Setup Rules tab and in the Fuel & Tire menu when on track.
Safety Ratings and Matchmaking
We’ve improved Safety Ratings in Featured Multiplayer by increasing the number of previous races the Safety Rating uses to determine your rating from 10 to 20, and by making on-track collisions more impactful to Safety Rating. These changes will take effect after your first race in Update 8. In addition, we’ve updated the matchmaking algorithm to search for a narrower range of Safety Ratings compared to your own. For example, players with an ‘S’ Safety Rating should no longer be matched with players who have ‘E’ and ‘D’ Safety Ratings. Groups will be connected to matches based on the player with the lowest Safety Rating.
Car Divisions and Events
Corrected an issue where the 1969 Lola #6 Sunoco T70 MkIIIB was eligible for the Vintage Le Mans Prototypes Series rather than the Prototype Group Racing Series. The 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2 and the 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 are moved from the Forza GT Series to the Modern Factory Racecar Series in Featured Multiplayer. The 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935 has been added to the Forza GT Series. We’re currently working on recategorizing Forza GT racecars into separate spec divisions and expect to push these changes into the game this summer.

AI Drivatar behavior
We’ve reduced unnecessary braking scenarios for Drivatar AI opponents. Examples of this include braking while attempting to pass, two cars wide in corners, and at the apex of corners.
Other Changes
We’ve updated Featured Multiplayer events to use consistent weather conditions and avoid unpredictable weather transitions mid-race. The Open Class Tour in Career mode has been migrated from the Builders Cup tab to the Featured tab. The Open Class Tour will be found in the Featured tab going forward. Starting with Update 8, VIPs can look forward to an exclusive 15% discount on a car every week in the Showroom alongside the 30% discount on Spotlight cars. Screen Narrator will now read associated credit bonuses as part of the option value names on Free Play Advanced options which affect credits earned during the event. This change also fixes the display of the bonus percentages for all players. Screen Narrator now fully supports the “Series Standings” leaderboard scene accessed from the Builders Cup Event Setup scene. The Tune Setups menu is now fully narrated. Added descriptive text for the SoundCloud Driver Suit.
CARS
Update 8 adds five cars to the game: 2 Reward Cars (Porsche 935 and BMW 1 Series M), and 3 Spotlight cars (Ginetta G40 Junior, Porsche Cayman GTS, and Elemental RP1). These additions bring the total game roster to 590 cars.
Reward Cars
Reward cars are available only from completing events in the Builders Cup Career.

Open Class Tour - Track Cars
With each update to Forza Motorsport, the Open Class Tour gets refreshed with new events and a new reward car. Open Class Tour is where you can continue the journey of your favorite cars. Cars that you’ve already built in a different Builders Cup series can be further levelled up and upgraded in the Open Class Tour. In Update 8, the Open Class Tour celebrates track cars as Drivatar opponents race inexpensive and highly modifiable production cars that you would expect to see at your local track on the weekend in D, C, B, and A classes.
Complete all of these series races before June 12, 2024 to earn the 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupé reward car (not available in the Buy Cars menu).

2024.05.13 19:15 Apart_Cycle5465 Nightmare at the Penthouse Party: Lost Cake, Aggressive Employees, and a Creepy Pursuer

So, I had this super intense dream today. Picture this: I'm at this extravagant party in a massive penthouse on the 25th floor of a skyscraper. It's the hosts' birthday, and I brought them a cake, but I forgot it in their kitchen, so I excused myself.
So, I take the elevator down to get the cake, and suddenly, I'm hit with this insane thirst. I see some people having refreshments, so I head over to grab a drink. But then, I realize I need to pay for it, and guess what? The payment system is down, and I've got no cash or cards on me. Total nightmare.
As if that wasn't enough, the employees start getting aggressive with me. One of them even leans in for this aggressive, unwanted kiss. Istill feel it as if I actually had a kiss and it’s grossing me out.Anyway I manage to bolt out of there and hop back into the elevator, but then this creepy guy shows up out of nowhere, saying he found me. Cue the panic mode.
Inside the elevator, things go from bad to worse when the guy reveals they can jam the elevator just like they jammed the payment system. I'm freaking out, sweating bullets, but I can't even scream for help.

A good, good morning/afternoon/evening to all the people of worldbuilding! How is everyone doing this morning/afternoon/evening? I hope the answer is great, because all of you are truly great and deserve the great things in life. Today is an especially great day because it's day 3 of my release of 'Septenary,' a creative tool which comes as part from another project of mine, 'Canon Mode.' The first two links are the first two Reddit posts related to Septenary, the third one is the direct link to the files within this project on Google Drive. Today we'll be opening the second file in either two of the 'CM Septenary COLOGRAYSCALE' folders, the pertaining file is called 'CM SEPT 2 Fundamentals Extended SHEET COLOGRAYSCALE'

The first thing you'll notice about either of these spreadsheets is they display the 'FUNDAMENTALS Extended 1.0' septenary, except here the cells have been greyed out. This formatting decision was done to illustrate that each column within the fundamentals septenary is not the main focus of this spreadsheet, but are now instead markers for extended sub-septenary groups. There are seven main groups in the 'Fundamentals' septenary and each one has its own extended list of sub-septenaries which help define the main groups.
The greyed out 'FUNDAMENTALS SEPTENARY 1.0' septenary is marked with a '1.0' indicating that it's the root septenary for the rest of the septenaries in the spreadsheet. The second septenary, called 'CHAMPION 1.1,' is marked with a 1.1. This indicates that it's the first septenary to be taken into account for after the root septenary. This post will further explore the 'CHAMPION 1.1' septenary in further detail.
(CHAMPION)
If we look at the 'CHAMPION' marker we can see listed below are its usual seven terms which will act as further markers when used to cross reference other cells within the septenary. If you didn't see yesterdays post, here's a refresher of what the actual definitions of these champions are.
0. Champion: a champion is masterful
  1. Saint: a saint is benevolent
  2. Chief: a chief is leaderly
  3. Sage: a sage is intellectual
  4. Hero: a hero is selfless
  5. Seer: a seer is a visionary
  6. Noble: a noble is honorable
  7. Heretic: a heretic is malevolent
The interesting thing about the 'CHAMPION' septenary is its creation wasn't inspired by mythical or legendary figures, but instead the inspirations for this group actually came from the desire to make a septenary that describes basic and fundamental occupations. When first considering how to create this particular septenary to work as an aid for character creation the important factor here was, "what will they be doing?" That is, what are these characters going to actually be doing once people create them?
{CHAMPION}
There were a few different contenders for the name of the 'CHAMPION' group. Other titles also considered apart from champion were master, legend, hero, and maybe a few more unconventional ones. So what is a champion anyway? Well, it's someone who is victorious. This definition had a really nice overtone of implying someone or something as the ultimate, and greatest that there is. And that's what was wanted to be portrayed alongside with these elements in the list is that these individuals are the absolute best at what they do and have no contenders.
{Trait}
The trait septenary acts as the base defining characteristics of each champion. These are the starting points for building a champion. From here these can act as base traits which can be used to further branch out and find more related traits, behaviors, or qualities that correlate with the type of character one is wanting to build.
{Occupational}
This septenary describes the type of work your champion might be doing. Outside of actually having a literal profession these descriptions can go much beyond in what they're able to explain about what their occupational time is spent doing.
{Class}
This group is much like the same idea of social status. This septenary defines your champions place or position in society.
{Rank}{Title}
These two groupings can be a little difficult to understand without the context of what they were created for. These specifically were meant to illustrate the original seven champions as they were in the fictional universe Dokimi. In the lore of this universe the first seven champions exist at the beginning of time as manifestations of the seven axiom forces. These beings were deities, and existed as the origin of Dokimi. They each had a rank and title, which went as the following.
  1. Lord Saint the Savior
  2. Executive Chief the President
  3. Elder Sage the Legend
  4. Master Hero the Justice
  5. Mother Seer the Universe
  6. Queen Noble the Honorable
  7. Deviless Heretic the Princess
In Dokimi each of these seven champions live up to their rank and title, as each have complete control and influence across their respected domain.
[Conclusion]
It could be said that a champion is always victorious, because if they weren't then they'd no longer be the champion of whatever they're involved in or with. The 'CHAMPION' sub-septenary is meant to provide a strong and potent backbone for creating a champion who is truly worth of their weight in stature and esteem. With this template/outline then so too might you be able to create your own strong and imposing champion worthy of the legends. ESLint LSP does not work, has anyone got it working?
I have been struggling with the last week to get the vscode-eslint-language-server on its own to work. To clarify my use case: my workplace uses eslint for linting and formatting, that's the only thing I need to work, I don't need to worry about getting it to work with another formatter, or multi-LSP support, which is where most of the help threads are focused on. When I say eslint doesn't work it doesn't do anything, does not detect unused variables, doesn't follow formatting, doesn't find symbols, nothing.

I pulled this config from https://github.com/helix-editohelix/discussions/10412#discussioncomment-9106874 and I have gone through and commented and uncommented different parts to try to isolate something to get it to work but nothing. I also started with this simpler one. And it's worth noting that when I use the `typescript-language-server` that I do get symbols, linting, etc AND formatting even when I explicitly disable it using {name = "typescript-language-server", except-features = ["format"]} , I have a sneaking suspicion that many peoples' eslint is unable to work on its own, but since they pair it with typescript-language-server and prettier that they don't notice.
I did comment out every line in this config because at this point I'm trying to break something to get a meaningful log (covered in the next section) but ostensibly everything is "working" but the LSP just doesn't do anything. I've also isolated it just to TSX again in an attempt to debug.

Here is the log file of me opening a `tsx` file and attempting to run `:fmt` it, I've commented out everything in the file BUT a few lines in an attempt to get isolate eslint behavior, I've had to censor some stuff due to work sensitivity

the only "error" that comes up is that warning and that's it.

Relatively simple eslintrc, as most of the rules come in from a package in node modules, I also suspect that this might be affecting the lsp, however it's worth noting that this isn't a monorepo issue, there is only one root to my project.

as can be seen, eslint catches all the errors that I added in, I tried to get an even mix of default errors + repo specific ones (strings must use single quote)
I just started using Helix last week, so I'm ready to admit I'm probably missing something but I really like the editor and I really want to use it at work and make this my main editor, either that or someone needs to get full feature compatibility between dance helix plugin for vscode and helix lol.

Today’s update introduces new fixes and experience improvements to Forza Motorsport, including tweaks to how Safety Ratings are calculated in Featured Multiplayer, a gloss-matte slider in the Livery Editor, a new Tire Wear scale option for Free Play and Private Multiplayer, and changes to Drivatar AI braking behavior.
Update 8 is headlined by the Track Toys Tour alongside its Spotlight cars – three of which are either new or returning to Motorsport – that you can race in weekly events across Career, Multiplayer and Rivals. 2024.05.13 17:49 i_wish_i_were_a_cat Cheap, small, reliable vertical mount recommendations?

Hi,
I am new to PC building and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for 22 or 24 inch monitors that can be mounted in portrait mode that are around $100?
It can be around 75-100Hz refresh rate since its my secondary monitor. Anything more than that is pretty much overkill
My desk and wallet doesnt support monitor arms so that is a no go on that front.
I have tried doing research and looking into multiple products. Ill find a perfect monitor and then realise its like 32 inches or made by some sketch company that fails after 6 months.
