I know there's about six things wrong with that title, but I'm trying to fix the new Vecna Eve of Ruin Module. In short, it's a bunch of cameos in a series of dungeon crawls. I'm reworking the adventures into something a lot more awesome. The last adventure is a casino in hell, and they've already done that. So I need suggestions and help for a Dark Sun McGuffin hunt for 18th+ level characters that showcases the WOW factor of Athas. Also, makes very high level characters realize they aren't in the Forgotten Realms anymore. If you were going to hide an artifact in Athas and have a bunch of extra planar characters come looking for it, where would you put it for maximum difficulty and culture shock?

You are aware that Wall Street’s bustling bazaar hosts a veritable Forbidden City of Chinese companies draped in ticker tape rather than silk. Today, I will provide background and data on all allowed Chinese companies listed on three of the largest U.S. stock exchanges: New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq, and NYSE American. I should note that a bustling troupe of 26 national securities exchanges are registered with the SEC in the United States. Most are owned by the Nasdaq, NYSE, or the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act of 2020 (HFCAA) is a law that requires companies publicly listed on stock exchanges in the U.S. to disclose to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) information on foreign jurisdictions that prevent the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) from conducting inspections. That law laid down a stern ultimatum: If Chinese authorities kept obstructing the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) from inspecting audit firms in China or Hong Kong for three consecutive years, the companies audited by these entities would face a ban from the bustling arenas of the U.S. exchanges. Variable Interest Entities (VIEs) Most traders—and that means you—are unaware that 166 Chinese companies currently listed on the three major U.S. exchanges use a VIE structure. Remember, Chinese companies structured themselves as VIEs to circumvent China’s restrictions—not U.S. restrictions—on foreign ownership in industries the CCP deems sensitive. Therefore, when you hold stock in one of these Chinese companies, you’re not officially holding any actual ownership in the company. Because if you did, then that company could be breaking Chinese restrictive caps on foreign investment and ownership. That’s why they set up a façade, or a legal entity, that controls the business on paper, but the true power and profits are funneled back to the company pulling the strings. Granted, it’s not as shaky as asking a random stranger to hold your shares, but it is crafty, and you should be aware of the risks. Wait. What are the risks? You need to understand that there’s a shadow of potential risk looming. Potential. Now, don't mistake me for the town crier of doom; I'm not proclaiming that the sky is falling on these shares. Nor am I declaring that disaster is certain for Chinese stocks. What I am pointing out, however, is the presence of a risk—a subtle beast that might just catch you off guard if you remain unaware. And let’s face it: Most of you are completely oblivious to these issues. There are two sides here: 🇺🇸 & 🇨🇳 🇺🇸 Since July 2021, the SEC has imposed additional disclosure requirements for Chinese companies using a VIE to sell shares in the U.S. These requirements include greater transparency about the relationship between the VIE and its Chinese operating companies. In summary, the SEC aims to push VIEs toward the company behind them to offer more clarity on U.S. investor ownership in the Chinese operating company. 🇨🇳 On the other side, Chinese companies that list overseas using a VIE were not required to register their listings with the CSRC, as the VIE is not considered a Chinese company under China’s law. This is the reason VIEs were used in the first place. However, as I mentioned earlier, after March 31, 2023, the CSRC established requirements for all new Chinese companies to register and receive permission before going public overseas—even those planning to use VIE structures. That’s why there was a boom of Chinese IPOs before that deadline. Granted, on September 14, 2023, a Chinese auto insurance platform became the first company that received the elusive blessing of the CSRC to list, and it did so using a VIE arrangement, breaking the long, dry spell that had plagued Chinese IPOs when she listed on the Nasdaq four days later. However, even though VIEs received some sort of recognition from the CSRC, the VIE corporate structures still hold dubious legal status under China’s laws. Remember, VIEs purpose is to avoid being considered a Chinese company under China’s laws. So… do you see the potential risk here? Umm… No, I don’t get it. Think about it. Either country could potentially increase regulations for VIEs, but if the SEC forces them to be more transparent, the VIE would not be able to circumvent China’s restrictions. That’s one risk. Also, at some point, China’s CSRC might question whether it’s appropriate to recognize a corporate structure that was created to circumvent its laws. Which leads me to this: What’s keeping the CCP from deciding to start reigning in those VIEs? If a VIE-listed company goes private at a lower valuation, businesses fail, or there’s a valuation discrepancy, the enforceability of a VIE’s contractual arrangements is unproven in Chinese courts. With VIE-listed companies, foreign investors’ recourse in the Chinese legal system is as elusive as a catfish’s whisper. Yeah, but that’s unlikely… Sure. Of course, I’m not saying every Chinese stock will have these issues. But it can happen. And it has happened. The unlucky case of Luckin Coffee Due to the lack of compliance with international audit inspections, Chinese corporate financial statements’ reliability for valuation and investment is not assured. Such is the case of Luckin Coffee. In a bold bid to capture Wall Street’s hearts and wallets, Luckin Coffee showed up dressed in finery, flaunting alluring figures of revenue, operations, and bustling customer traffic. At her grand debut, the stock sashayed onto the Nasdaq at $17, swirling up a storm of interested buyers to the tune of $561 million in capital. For a fleeting moment, Luckin shimmered like a star over the financial firmament, boasting a market capitalization that soared to a heady $12 billion, with shares peaking just over $50. Ah, but as the adage goes, ‘Truth will out.’ And out it came—the revelation of those embroidered numbers caused the company's stock to plummet like a stone tossed from a bridge, leaving a wake of investor losses and culminating in a disgraceful delisting from Nasdaq 13 months after her debut. That’s it. Of course, within that time, Chinese regulators could agree once again to allow access to the PCAOB, thus resetting the two-year countdown without significant consequences. What lurks in the shadows Although the risk of PCAOB non-compliance looms over these financial engagements, it is the ghost of potentially misconstrued—or, let's say, creatively presented—earnings reports coming to light that should scare you most. Or, on the flip side, present the biggest opportunity. I believe it is possible that there are several ghosts out there—ghastly financial figures dressed up a tad too finely—lingering in the shadows, unchecked and unchallenged. If they’re found and unveiled under the harsh spotlight of scrutiny, the fallout would be immediate and severe, leaving investors scrambling. Setting: In the fictional, beautiful, rustic, and all-around depressing city of Rongeford, there are two kinds of people: epithets and mundies. This isn't too different from most cities, but the isolation and wilderness of the Northern Forestlands make the economic and racial divide between these two sides... a bit more tense. That isn't to stay you can't live in Rongeford and any other community in the Great North, mundie or not, but the city of Rongeford is a city with small-town sentiments: you gotta work to earn local trust, not expect it to be given. This comes pre-packaged in what is known as the all-too infamous Free-Northern talk: overly friendly and hospitable manners compared to the outside world, but with a hint of aggression that honestly you can't really tell whether they're being kind, or there are several veiled threats beneath those sweet words.
This is where your party, either mundies or epithet users, will come together, as a series of wild-fires have began to pop up across the municipal district, threatening the nearby communities and getting closer to the city of Rongeford. It would seem that whatever is causing these fires is, for once, not from stupid teenagers playing with fire out in the woods; a reward of $65,000 is offered to whatever group or individual can capture the rumored epithet usegroup terrorizing the municipalities of Ronge.
These adventures will take you through the many communities of Ronge, and face being completely trapped (even in the air), and forced to travel on foot to travel from place to place, face off against the wild-life, poachers, secret government agents, and the forces of nature itself. Oh, and there's also a huge casino heist that happens somewhere inbetween with guns and fire, but we're keeping it at least 90s PG here...so there will be some blood and we'll definitely go deep on the mental and emotional route, but this is going to be played by both kids and adults so...yeah.

Character Creation
Name: Noah LaScritché Epithet: Itchy

□ Abilities: Can trigger a person's inner compulsions or desires and force them to act them out for a period of time. Can activate multiple compulsions at a time, but limited by the will-power and resistance of the target, and how many "itches" Noah can hold his attention to with his proficiency.
□ The "itch" can be effected on different levels of cognition and sensation: an emotional "itch," a physical "itch," or even a mental "itch."
□Emotional itches cause the affected person to experience emotions that have either been repressed or have left a huge impression on the person's memory, causing the person to be flooded with them again and be stunned or have them affect their actions during combat or in-game. This can have bonuses, but also debuffs depending on the Emotional moment left behind or unresolved.
□Physical "itches" are sensations that the person has lingering on them, they've felt recently and left an impression, or are so small in sensation that they go unnoticed. Noah can amplify these sensations or diminish them, but the effects are temporary; for whatever reason, to diminish the sensations of the person affected, Noah must let whatever physical sensations the person feels flow into him. This includes pain, nausea, constipation, and anything from excruciating in feeling to uncomfortable.
□Mental "itches" are arguably the most unpredictable and dangerous of Noah's epithet level of abilities. Using his scratch ability, Noah can influence the cognition, memories, perception, and self-perception of the person affected. To an extent, mental "itches" would be considered hypnosis; however, the effects make the Mental "itches" not only dangerous to person affected, but also to others around them. With emotional and physical "itches," the epithet doesnt force the person affected to let these repressed/intense/unnoticed sensations be relieved; it uses persuasion, or rather the Creativity from within Noah, to convince the person that they subconsciously should have this itch scratched. Mental "itches" are entirely different; they are "itches" from within the mind itself and it's perception of the world, and thus have far more defenses and resistance to the Scratch ability.
This is for good reason, as messing with the way a person perceives the world mentally is something that doesn't have a temporary effect like physical or emotional "itches. Like brain surgery, without careful precision, scratching at some compulsion or hidden desire within the mental space of a person could permanently damage them. For example, if Noah were to draw out a memory from a person's inner conscience that has been left unresolved, the person and Noah would view it. However, Noah must ensure that he is not detected by the person within his conscience and complete the scratch ability on whatever he needs to do; otherwise, the person's mind will activate defenses within, and may even view the influence of Noah on the memory itself as a sort of mental virus, and thus decide to erase both Noah and the memory. There are many more dangers of bringing out mental "itches," but here is a warning to summarize: there are certain things within the mind, repressed and hidden things, that aren't meant to be seen. It is the most useful level of "itches" only because it can dominate a mind, but it can just as easy break Noah if he is not careful how he approaches things.
□Side-effect for Noah is he feels an itch as a result, which grows in discomfort as he draws out the compulsion of the person. Can lead to him actively scratching himself in irritation, even harming himself unintentionally. Background: Hello, I'm Noah LaScritché, and I'm a theatre performer in a city that doesn't normally put much money, if at all, into the performing arts. Yeah, it sucks, but it's a lot better than where I last lived...anyway, I'm also a professional clown; in fact, I take it pretty seriously, and wear it wherever I go. You'd think it would be hard and outright crazy dressing up as a clown daily, but the key is mainly just the face; my outfit is mostly interchangeable, though I'm partial to wearing emerald-green shirt/jacket, brown/tanned trousers/overalls, a pair of leather-boots, and a tanned sun-hat.
That's my side-job as a clown (mostly for birthdays), but my main job is as an addiction councilor; yes, I wear the costume, even though I've gotten complaints, I guess I just feel more comfortable as a clown councilor, but I do make sure not to wear it if people are really freaked out by it. Turns out my epithet and a Bachelour's Degree in Mental Health works hand-in-hand to being a really good addiction councilor; of course, my code as a mental-health professional only allows me to do this kind of stuff if they sign off on it with consent, or I determine that the person under my supervision is having a state of emergency and I need to give my full attention and resources to them. To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about my epithet. By helping people open up their inner compulsions, some desires that even they have no idea that are hidden within them, it can actually help them have an apifany and recover, or it could end horribly. It's why I only do in extreme circumstances when no other option is available and the environment is safe and secure.

□Physical "itches" are sensations that the person has lingering on them, they've felt recently and left an impression, or are so small in sensation that they go unnoticed. Noah can amplify these sensations or diminish them, but the effects are temporary; for whatever reason, to diminish the sensations of the person affected, Noah must let whatever physical sensations the person feels flow into him. This includes pain, nausea, constipation, and anything from excruciating in feeling to uncomfortable.
□Mental "itches" are arguably the most unpredictable and dangerous of Noah's epithet level of abilities. Using his scratch ability, Noah can influence the cognition, memories, perception, and self-perception of the person affected. To an extent, mental "itches" would be considered hypnosis; however, the effects make the Mental "itches" not only dangerous to person affected, but also to others around them. With emotional and physical "itches," the epithet doesnt force the person affected to let these repressed/intense/unnoticed sensations be relieved; it uses persuasion, or rather the Creativity from within Noah, to convince the person that they subconsciously should have this itch scratched. Mental "itches" are entirely different; they are "itches" from within the mind itself and it's perception of the world, and thus have far more defenses and resistance to the Scratch ability.
This is for good reason, as messing with the way a person perceives the world mentally is something that doesn't have a temporary effect like physical or emotional "itches. Like brain surgery, without careful precision, scratching at some compulsion or hidden desire within the mental space of a person could permanently damage them. For example, if Noah were to draw out a memory from a person's inner conscience that has been left unresolved, the person and Noah would view it. However, Noah must ensure that he is not detected by the person within his conscience and complete the scratch ability on whatever he needs to do; otherwise, the person's mind will activate defenses within, and may even view the influence of Noah on the memory itself as a sort of mental virus, and thus decide to erase both Noah and the memory. There are many more dangers of bringing out mental "itches," but here is a warning to summarize: there are certain things within the mind, repressed and hidden things, that aren't meant to be seen. It is the most useful level of "itches" only because it can dominate a mind, but it can just as easy break Noah if he is not careful how he approaches things.
□Side-effect for Noah is he feels an itch as a result, which grows in discomfort as he draws out the compulsion of the person. Can lead to him actively scratching himself in irritation, even harming himself unintentionally. Depending on which level of itch he scratches, Noah can experience certain debilitating conditions unless he succeeds a fortitude save. Examples include: temporary loss of sight,
Background: Hello, I'm Noah LaScritché, and I'm a theatre performer in a city that doesn't normally put much money, if at all, into the performing arts. Yeah, it sucks, but it's a lot better than where I last lived...anyway, I'm also a professional clown; in fact, I take it pretty seriously, and wear it wherever I go. You'd think it would be hard and outright crazy dressing up as a clown daily, but the key is mainly just the face; my outfit is mostly interchangeable, though I'm partial to wearing emerald-green shirt/jacket, brown/tanned trousers/overalls, a pair of leather-boots, and a tanned sun-hat.
That's my side-job as a clown (mostly for birthdays), but my main job is as an addiction councilor; yes, I wear the costume, even though I've gotten complaints, I guess I just feel more comfortable as a clown councilor, but I do make sure not to wear it if people are really freaked out by it. Turns out my epithet and a Bachelour's Degree in Mental Health works hand-in-hand to being a really good addiction councilor; of course, my code as a mental-health professional only allows me to do this kind of stuff if they sign off on it with consent, or I determine that the person under my supervision is having a state of emergency and I need to give my full attention and resources to them. To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about my epithet. By helping people open up their inner compulsions, some desires that even they have no idea that are hidden within them, it can actually help them have an apifany and recover, or it could end horribly. It's why I only do in extreme circumstances when no other option is available and the environment is safe and secure.
I'm getting off topic. Let's see...what else is there about me? I really like Weeros/Cockatiels, really any member of the parrot/cockatoo family; their mimicry of sounds is amazing. If I didn't go into theatre, I'd have probably become a professional hat-maker if the automated industry didn't destroy that profession locally; regular one-bill caps are boring, but a custom-made 19th century stove-pipe hat in any colour you choose paired with a fashionable jacket? Now that is eye-catching!

So it all started before he worked at taco bell. I messed up his order. When he came in the first time ordering a 12 taco party pack. And it ended up being where the 600 lb cook in the back and ended up eating all the tacos. Because there were 12 tacos that were basically unaccounted for. Because I put in the wrong order. I believe or it was the wrong type of taco or something along those lines so he ended up eating them basically. He came in with his cousin. But it appeared like he came in with his husband. And kids. They have lots of kids. Because he has kids and his cousin has kids. So they look like two husbands with lots of kids. My mother had to clock herself out and break out. Because she doesn't serve people who are gay and married with children. She will have a whole fit. Tell them that they're living a whole fantasy and that they're not real and all this nonsense. So it is best for her to just take a seat. Which is why I took their order. And that's their order of accidentally.
After that. I specifically saw him at the pizza parlor. Where he was working at the primm casino. And he was very knowledgeable about the pizzas. Very helpful. And so forth very accommodating pretty much a very good service individual.
A few days later. I saw that he had tried to turn in his application at my job. This was a day when we had two of the co-workers specifically very high out of their minds. At least the two co-workers in charge that day. Because on Fridays there were only two people in charge. A shift lead and a guy who kind of like in waiting. during the that Christmas season DeJean was always high off of his rockers. everyday he came in his eyes were shut and he was slurring his words. and Sam was a heroin addict. so I think him being high everyday like he was. was supposedly on his best behavior. because it was marijuana supposedly. instead of heroin or crack. and these people both ended up cursing out the customers screaming at them to leave the store. and cursing out other co-workers as well. so it was no use in asking them for help basically. yeah that day they were both high out of their minds. And very busy. So I felt like the application was not going to go anywhere anyway. Besides probably in the trash. I tried to put it in the office where Nik could see it. But I don't even know if he ended up being able to see his application.
Anyway what ended up happening was in this city we all lived in the same apartment complex. So I saw him I think two more times and then he came into the store two more times. And one of the times I saw him in person at the apartment complex. I specifically show them when the general manager would be available. And literally set up a time for him. After I had talked to the general manager and told him that I was getting this guy Tyler to him for him to interview.
The reason I tried for him. Was specifically because the prim casino was closing. Meaning that the employees probably didn't have any choice there. And considering he had all those kids so I believed and considering that at that place that apartment complex you have to have a job. In order to stay there. It seemed like it was important for him to get the job. That was my reason. On top of the fact that at the pizza parlor he was a good worker. It ain't nothing to do with me at all liking them in that way. I never liked him. It was just specifically that I felt like well he got kids he's in this apartment complex. That will be evicted in 72 hours if he doesn't have a job pretty soon. and he was a good worker from what I could tell.
After the interview though my general manager Nik try to imply that I must like him or something. Because why that did I try to push for him to get hired. When it was simply because he was a hard worker from what I could tell and he had kids. From what I could tell. And he was at a job that was going to end soon. Meaning at in the private apartments you have to have a job. They will evict you in like 72 hours. Who wants to see kids being evicted in 72 hours for not having a job. Like realistically to me I didn't want to see that. Considering they were my next door neighbors anyway.
Anyway I ended up quitting. I quit the job. Because it was in the middle of my whole situation where I spent 18 days. Working Day today. And people like my general manager were yelling at me and telling me how terrible I was for missing an hour of work. I ended up putting a quit letter in. And that went sour. Because I put it in speaking pretty crass. Because I was like hey it's over. I can just talk like a regular person. So I started talking about stuff. But I wasn't specifically cursing anyone out. I was specifically like saying what I did for a living outside of this job. Which is in the phone sex industry basically. And saying something about my give a damn is busted. Things of that nature. Which ended up where the message got taken out. And said it was an offensive message. So everybody thought I was cursing them out. Which was the side issue. I remember being a little sad about quitting because I wanted to work with him and I thought he would be fun to work with. And also being like oh well you know I'm quitting but I got you a good one. Kind of thing.
Well I got rehired. A couple months later. During the summer. And I've worked there since. For a year. Never been times where the coworker I tried to get hired Tyler acts like Oddish. He says he's autistic so maybe that's it? For example I was just trying to talk about my ex who was a prostitute. And he got all uncomfortable. But the problem with that situation was I specifically had just talked to Angela and Victor about the same thing. Telling them about how massage therapists are really prostitutes. And how my ex was really a prostitute all that time and I had no clue about it. And how my roommate just let me in on knowing that massage therapist basically means a prostitute.
And like another time I was specifically just saying I didn't like anyone I was working with at the time. And then they got all fussy. When I tripped accidentally said that I did but I wasn't meaning him or angelee I was meaning Lucas who I wasn't working with. After that he started acting oddly too.
For example I had to run late yesterday so I had to take an Uber. On the right there. I took a photo and I was surprised because one of my eyes turned yellow. And I was like what the heck. My eyes are black. So how are my eyes yellow in the photo. Because of the lighting. Flash right on my eye. With the sun flashing in the way it did. It was like a direct lighting. But it was like a strip of light that basically hit my eye. So then that let me to download a color detector and a color picker. Just to determine the color I was looking at. So then what colors came up were fawn tan and camel. I look up these colors. And it says yellow. And then I look up fawn colored eyes. And it literally says hazel. So then I'm confused. Ask you why I have hazel eyes in the sun. In direct strip lighting but I got black eyes every other time. And every other normal lighting. So when I get to work. I basically ask my coworkers. Because all my coworkers have black eyes too. If they also get yellow eyes when they look at the sun. And pretty much it seemed like nobody really agreed with that. And people seem like they're uncomfortable and angry because I asked that question.
He specifically acted like I was somehow doing something or making him uncomfortable especially when I showed him the photo. Very odd because I wasn't trying to say they were pretty. Or anything along those lines. This was the day I didn't straighten my har. I let my hair just stay like stick stuck up weird. Because I didn't have enough time to get ready for work. The photo was taken completely makeupless I mean I washed my face. And put some sunscreen on. That's all I did. And I had hair all over my uniform. This wasn't a flattering photo.and I wasn't trying to imply anything about my eyes. Especially since normally they're black. So I wasn't trying to say they were pretty either. It was just me looking at my picture and being like is this actually brown or is it Amber or Hazel or what the heck is it? That was my question. I only have my pair of eyes. I don't have anyone else's to see if the lighting is different on other Brown eyes. Am I like the one with yellow tint in my eyes. When bright sunlight hits it. Is that a sign of not being actually brown-eyed. Or what? Like that was my question. But he seemed to take it completely differently. I ended up talking to Justin about it. Who explained to me that he had brown eyes all his life and then he found out that he had green eyes when he looked into the sunlight. And that it was a normal occurrence for people with very dark eye color of different colors than brown. Basically. He did not seem like that was a weird question or that was wrong for me to bring this up. To him. So I don't get why the other guy seem to react a little negatively to me but he's done that before with other conversations on other things which is just weird to me.
Personally for me. When it comes to men I like I would never ask that question as I've said before I tried telling Lucas to make me a bacon grilled cheese burrito got stuck in mid sentence and had to go on the intercom to ask Sidney to tell him. I don't talk to people I'm attracted to about simple things I actually need. I stuttered and if I'm friendly I'm whining mostly. No way I'd be talking about my eye color to anyone I was attracted to. I don't even like to look people in the eyes. If I am attracted to them. So I would not be talking about my eyes at all. Because a part of me feels like if they look in my eyes. They'll realize I like/want them so yeah the last thing I'd be talking about is my eyes.
Even thinking back to a past coworker sam who I mildly was odd and about a coworker misty who didn't like to work her job. Barely came into work. And all I ever saw of her was on the crew app. And she had some blue eye contacts in. So then the first time I finally saw her. She didn't have her eye contacts in and I was confused how she was the same person because she didn't have blue eyes anymore. This was in front of a guy I was sorta fond of ever so VERY mildly. And Sam kept trying to tell me to look at his eyes and how they were green or whatever and I wouldn't look/completely ignored him. So even if I have to talk about someone's eye color I still won't reference or look or talk at a person's eye color or talk about it with a person I'm even mildly attracted to. Even if the topic was someone else's eye color I won't talk about it with someone I'm attracted to even if it's mildly.
What is weird he acts uncomfortable about conversations that I've had with other people. Who don't take it that way. Which is why it leads me to think maybe he still thinks that I like him in some way because of how he got here in the first place? I've tried to mention this like a couple times. To different coworkers. That I didn't. Like him. Specifically to just put that out there.
Most of my coworkers know that I only like men who are white. Specifically. And he's not white. Also a lot of other things but I'm not going to pick apart a person.
Anyway if he does think this how do I correct it? Because he acts uncomfortable with many conversations I have just fine with other people.

Like realistically to me I didn't want to see that. Considering they were my next door neighbors anyway.
Anyway I ended up quitting. I quit the job. Because it was in the middle of my whole situation where I spent 18 days. Working Day today. And people like my general manager were yelling at me and telling me how terrible I was for missing an hour of work. I ended up putting a quit letter in. And that went sour. Because I put it in speaking pretty crass. Because I was like hey it's over. I can just talk like a regular person. So I started talking about stuff. But I wasn't specifically cursing anyone out. I was specifically like saying what I did for a living outside of this job. Which is in the phone sex industry basically. And saying something about my give a damn is busted. Things of that nature. Which ended up where the message got taken out. And said it was an offensive message. So everybody thought I was cursing them out. Which was the side issue. I remember being a little sad about quitting because I wanted to work with him and I thought he would be fun to work with. And also being like oh well you know I'm quitting but I got you a good one. Kind of thing.
Well I got rehired. A couple months later. During the summer. And I've worked there since. For a year. Never been times where the coworker I tried to get hired Tyler acts like Oddish. He says he's autistic so maybe that's it? For example I was just trying to talk about my ex who was a prostitute. And he got all uncomfortable. But the problem with that situation was I specifically had just talked to Angela and Victor about the same thing. Telling them about how massage therapists are really prostitutes. And how my ex was really a prostitute all that time and I had no clue about it. And how my roommate just let me in on knowing that massage therapist basically means a prostitute.
And like another time I was specifically just saying I didn't like anyone I was working with at the time. And then they got all fussy. When I tripped accidentally said that I did but I wasn't meaning him or angelee I was meaning Lucas who I wasn't working with. After that he started acting oddly too.
For example I had to run late yesterday so I had to take an Uber. On the right there. I took a photo and I was surprised because one of my eyes turned yellow. And I was like what the heck. My eyes are black. So how are my eyes yellow in the photo. Because of the lighting. Flash right on my eye. With the sun flashing in the way it did. It was like a direct lighting. But it was like a strip of light that basically hit my eye. So then that let me to download a color detector and a color picker. Just to determine the color I was looking at. So then what colors came up were fawn tan and camel. I look up these colors. And it says yellow. And then I look up fawn colored eyes. And it literally says hazel. So then I'm confused. Ask you why I have hazel eyes in the sun. In direct strip lighting but I got black eyes every other time. And every other normal lighting. So when I get to work. I basically ask my coworkers. Because all my coworkers have black eyes too. If they also get yellow eyes when they look at the sun. And pretty much it seemed like nobody really agreed with that. And people seem like they're uncomfortable and angry because I asked that question.
He specifically acted like I was somehow doing something or making him uncomfortable especially when I showed him the photo. Very odd because I wasn't trying to say they were pretty. Or anything along those lines. This was the day I didn't straighten my har. I let my hair just stay like stick stuck up weird. Because I didn't have enough time to get ready for work. The photo was taken completely makeupless I mean I washed my face. And put some sunscreen on. That's all I did. And I had hair all over my uniform. This wasn't a flattering photo.and I wasn't trying to imply anything about my eyes. Especially since normally they're black. So I wasn't trying to say they were pretty either. It was just me looking at my picture and being like is this actually brown or is it Amber or Hazel or what the heck is it? That was my question. I only have my pair of eyes. I don't have anyone else's to see if the lighting is different on other Brown eyes. Am I like the one with yellow tint in my eyes. When bright sunlight hits it. Is that a sign of not being actually brown-eyed. Or what? Like that was my question. But he seemed to take it completely differently. I ended up talking to Justin about it. Who explained to me that he had brown eyes all his life and then he found out that he had green eyes when he looked into the sunlight. And that it was a normal occurrence for people with very dark eye color of different colors than brown. Basically. He did not seem like that was a weird question or that was wrong for me to bring this up. To him. So I don't get why the other guy seem to react a little negatively to me but he's done that before with other conversations on other things which is just weird to me.
Personally for me. When it comes to men I like I would never ask that question as I've said before I tried telling Lucas to make me a bacon grilled cheese burrito got stuck in mid sentence and had to go on the intercom to ask Sidney to tell him. I don't talk to people I'm attracted to about simple things I actually need. I stuttered and if I'm friendly I'm whining mostly. No way I'd be talking about my eye color to anyone I was attracted to. I don't even like to look people in the eyes. If I am attracted to them. So I would not be talking about my eyes at all. Because a part of me feels like if they look in my eyes. They'll realize I like/want them so yeah the last thing I'd be talking about is my eyes.
Even thinking back to a past coworker sam who I mildly was odd and about a coworker misty who didn't like to work her job. Barely came into work. And all I ever saw of her was on the crew app. And she had some blue eye contacts in. So then the first time I finally saw her. She didn't have her eye contacts in and I was confused how she was the same person because she didn't have blue eyes anymore. This was in front of a guy I was sorta fond of ever so VERY mildly. And Sam kept trying to tell me to look at his eyes and how they were green or whatever and I wouldn't look/completely ignored him. So even if I have to talk about someone's eye color I still won't reference or look or talk at a person's eye color or talk about it with a person I'm even mildly attracted to. Even if the topic was someone else's eye color I won't talk about it with someone I'm attracted to even if it's mildly.
What is weird he acts uncomfortable about conversations that I've had with other people. Who don't take it that way. Which is why it leads me to think maybe he still thinks that I like him in some way because of how he got here in the first place? I've tried to mention this like a couple times. To different coworkers. That I didn't. Like him. Specifically to just put that out there.
Most of my coworkers know that I only like men who are white. Specifically. And he's not white. Also a lot of other things but I'm not going to pick apart a person.
Anyway if he does think this how do I correct it? Because he acts uncomfortable with many conversations I have just fine with other people.

Here are all (*) of the new US and Canadian CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in April 2024, according to the Department of Energy. You can get the data yourself here.
These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for:
There were 330 CCS charging stations with a total of 682 chargepoints added or refreshed in April 2024, which is a major uptick in both stations and chargepoints. There were only 166 new CCS charging stations in April 2023, with only 267 chargepoints. Things are trending dramatically upwards.
Some part of this is due to Tesla Magic Dock stations. Previously Tesla didn't report these to the AFDC as CCS, but now they do. And that makes sense because all CCS drivers can use them.
NOTE: most Tesla Superchargers do NOT have magic dock as of this writing (all those shown in this report should have it). I recommend using PlugShare to locate compatible stations for your vehicle.
(*) "What about other Tesla Superchargers? Can't everybody charge with NACS now?"
It's coming for many makes and models, and for newer Ford models as well as a few other manufacturers charging at v3 and v4 Superchargers is already an option with a free adapter from the automakers. GM should release their adapter in the coming weeks. But since they are not open to all CCS vehicles, this report is not the place for them. Tesla's app provides the best guide to their locations, including locations that work with non-Tesla vehicles.

Background: I’m 21 female and went with my bf who’s 23 and his parents. It was a 5 day cruise stopping in Cozumel, Mexico and the grand caymans
Honestly, you’re there for the boat. We only stop at the locations for maybe max 8 hours. The excursions are cool but ultimately not worth it because it takes up your entire time on each island. There’s not enough time to explore the towns on your own and do an excursion.
THE BOAT: she’s nice, lots of delicious food. If you’re drinking, get the drink package it’s expensive but worth it because every cocktail is about $14. Also opt for the dining experience at the great gatsby, basically all you can eat but make it a fine dining experience. There is a free buffet on board but the quality is subpar. There’s also a snack bar open until 1am and free ice cream by the pool everyday. Although, there’s no water refill stations and the boat water tastes weird. You can get water with the unlimited drink package but only 2 a day (but I don’t think the workers really follow that).
The pool is super small. The children are annoying. I didn’t feel like they should be there considering there’s a) drunk adults (who were with their kids) b) a casino on board where you can watch old grandpas smoke cigarettes and rot at a slot machine.
There is an adult pool, but it’s inside and out of the sun. Plus, there were adults making out near to fucking in the pool, two grown men hopping in the pool only wearing underwear. Everytime I entered that pool, grown men simply couldn’t stop looking at my boobs, ew. It made me really uncomfortable and forced me to go hang out with screaming children. So your choice of pools are either men in their underwear staring at your boobs or children splashing pool water into your drinks.
SHOUT OUT THE EMPLOYEES they’re genuinely so kind and accommodating and so good at redirecting drunk adults. They make the trip. It is very upsetting because it is clear that they are all minorities from devolping nations. They spend 5-10 months on the boat never leaving. However, if you give them good survey reviews they earn a couple of hours to leave the boat. I did the boat tour (not worth imo, but did open my eyes to their living and working conditions). They stay at the very bottom of the boat in windowless room with all white walls that make you feel like you’ve institutionalized. Constant reminders hang on the walls to smile and greet everyone. It was very uncanny valley because they’re so kind and so nice to the point where you want them to crack. For example, I accidentally left an adult toy out and the nice man who comes to clean our rooms organized it for me. The tour also informed us that they used to work 15-20 hours a day but because laws changed they decided to be generous and only make them work 10-12 hours a day. They talk about going home as if they’re soldiers coming back from war, surprising their kids when they get back.
ON THE FIRST DAY pack your swimsuit in carryon type bag because you will not get your luggage until later in the evening.

For the money you spend to be on the cruise, it almost makes it not worth it for the excursions because there’s simply not enough time. I do really hope the employees are happy because there seems to be a cheap labor loophole that royal Caribbean takes advantage of.

I'm not sure how a Gen 5 remake would be handled if this was indeed the case, especially if they went for a BDSP-style remake with no actual changes to the character designs. If we get something else (which is what I'm hoping for) he could either not be there at all after having been replaced, or he can be in his Alolan design, which I personally dig.

To briefly recap:
- The Mauville Game Corner is permanently closed in Gen VI
- The Celadon Game Corner is accessible but not usable in Gen VII, and the machines are now arcade game systems
- The Veilstone Game Corner is replaced by the Metronome Style Shop in Gen VIII

Here are some tips on how to have a fun and affordable trip to Citizen’s Bank Park – from one baseball fan to the next. Or in other words, from someone who does not profit from your experience at CBP.
YMMV – please share your tips as well.
Food & Concessions: —————- - Bring your own food. Rolling through the gates with a hoagie in hand is the ultimate veteran move. Basically all food is acceptable – I’ve rolled in with anything from falafel over rice, to Tony & Nicks. I’ve seen large quantities of Primo Hoagies in boxes going through.

Basically all food is acceptable – I’ve rolled in with anything from falafel over rice, to Tony & Nicks. I’ve seen large quantities of Primo Hoagies in boxes going through.
- Bring your own non-alcoholic beverages, in unopened plastic containers. I’ve seen two liters of Diet Coke, quarts of iced tea, liters of water. If you pay $10 for a water at the park, it’s because you didn’t prepare.
- The stadium offers a “Designated Driver Coupon”. You submit some personal details and are granted like $7 in concession credit. This appears as an online ticket in your MLB account. It claims to be for “A Regular Sized Soda” but confirmed it works on anything (except probably booze, idk). Yes, $2 ice cream helmets unlocked, just google it.
- If it’s in the 50s and breezy, you will be cold – feel free to bring a blanket.
- The sun… holy smokes. Next to costs, it’s the second biggest enemy of park goers. Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. If you forget screen, I do believe they have some stations inside the park. Guest services or one of our friendly redditors may know definitively.
- For evening games - the Sun sets behind the 3rd base foul pole. If you want protection from the sun in the evenings, tickets on the visito3rd base side are pleasant. Sunglasses for first base side, always.
- For Day games – there is no reprieve from sun except for the first 10 rows in the 100 levels and the 200 level. These shaded seats also provide shelter during rainy games.
- BYO Poncho/Rain coat. They don’t play in heavy rain, but there’s something nice about staying dry while they keep playing and everyone else is headed for cover.
- Row 1 is not the first row of all sections, particularly in the foul parts of left and right field.
- The Phanatic goes to specific parts of the park during parts of the game. For example, every 7th inning he will go to section 117 to be behind the home dugout. Ask an usher for details if you have a kid who’s fascinated.
- My big body against a stranger’s big body, in 85 degrees heat feels like you’re in a pizza oven. The seats aren’t huge. You can use the Section Map of the ballpark to determine which seats are on the aisle.
- For small parties, it’s often best to get day of tickets [regular season only]
- There are a ton of home games. If budget is one of your biggest concerns, target weeknight games. Often, you can score great priced tickets on weeknight iffy weather days.
- For day of tickets for those that are less price sensitive, look at the secondary market websites and sort by” Best Seat”, scroll down and look for low price ticket anomalies.
- If a game is definitely going to get rained out, tickets will flood the resale market. Buy some. It will either get rescheduled within the next couple days, or the Phillies will give you a credit to another game of your choice. This is a good way to get extremely low priced tickets.
- If you are on the east side of Broad, walking down 10th is extremely pleasant.
- Paid, stadium sanctioned parking should be used by those that tailgate or have accessibility considerations. If utilized, leave early or anticipate a lengthy wait.
- There are many ‘free’ parking options all around the stadium, if you’re willing to walk a bit. I’m not blowing up anyone’s spots here, but if you look at a map there are some pretty good options both north and west.
- You should have more concerns of violence and belligerence within the ballpark than concerns with the neighboring areas (particularly immediately around game times). But, of course leave valuables out of sight in locked cars.
- Ride Share – Don’t get dropped off or picked up right at the stadium. It will be faster and cheaper to avoid this. Walk just north of the casino and you’re out the congestion.
- Bag Policy requires a clear bag, or fanny pack. No purses or backpacks are allowed, except if they’re deemed to be “diaper bags” or of medical necessity. Sooo many people must make the long walk back to their car to drop off their purse. Don’t let this be you.
- The gates are a huge bottleneck. Just walk quickly through the gates upon entrance. They have a seamless security scanning process and personnel will let you know if you need to open bags, or go through additional screening. Otherwise, walk straight to the ticket scanners.
- Drinking… Please enjoy yourself. There’s nothing more refreshing than a frosty one - particularly as you’re in a pizza oven with another steamy fella. Beers are prohibitively expensive, you’d think; however, nearly all shenanigans are borne in drunkenness. Be mindful of the families and friends around you.
- Haribo Goldbears are a top notch baseball treat, my BYO of choice
- Aramark sucks at delivering quality concessions, but most of the employees are friendly if you give them a smile and are patient.
- If there’s a long line for the bathroom, and you walk in through the exit, I hope you get what’s coming for you.
- Booing your own team is lame, especially if you don’t slug out the season with them
- It’s okay to cheer for good baseball by the opposing team
- Balls thrown by players into the stands should be given to children. Balls caught from play are fair game, you may keep it for your efforts.
- If you have long hair, check that it’s not going into the drinks of the people behind you.
- Embrace the sweat during the summer and enjoy the shower that’s looming
- Have a good time at CBP. Show others, including opposing fans, a good time.
