I am an OG player since 2014 and I have been doing fine until around 2019 (iirc) when suddenly my world is ruined. My stuffs in backpack is still there including Dls and items. I don't give any access to anyone. My password and GrowID is still the same. I saw bulletin board and there is someone posted "I had fun with your world XD".
I know this is from before the 2 step verification era but you still need to guess my password or hack my email to access my account. I didn't change my password until recently (with additional protection provided of course) and it has been fine. I'm so confused whether my account is safe or not.
Note : I don't post this to ask for help. I'm just confused and scared, that's all.

Details that matter: my son has a developmental delay that is in the language and fine motor skills areas. He's not potty trained yet either and we have been trying for years.
He also has separation trauma as he was kidnapped by his maternal grandmother when he was 1 and we didn't get him back until he was 2 almost to the day.
My husband and i work from home so we never did daycare or preschool.
This fall he starts kindergarten and I'm worried how both of us will deal with the separation. We have never been apart since he's been home really unless it's with his dad. We have no family really it's just us. Ideas? Encouragement? He's a happy confident kid but im still worried, especially with the added factors. We did get an iep which will help i hope.

About a week ago my mother (75 years old) called me up and asked if I would go to The Rolling Stones concert in Vegas with her. She had bought two tickets, her and my father and she told me she wanted to attend but that my dad wasn’t feeling very well. He is on oxygen when he is at home. He has COPD, a lung disease, and cannot get around much. Since it was a chance to hang with my mom a day before Mother’s Day and see the Stones I said heck yeah!!
I had already mentioned to my wife that on Mother’s Day when I return, we should grill some steak and scallops and lounge out a bit… play it by ear. My wife mentioned that grilling probably wasn’t a great idea and that the oldest of our two kids, our daughter, would be heading to Europe about an hour after we return home from Vegas the day after the concert (Sunday the 12th).
Our youngest (18 years old son) accompanied me to Vegas to stay at the relatives while my mother and I went to the Stones concert.
The next morning, Mothers Day, I woke up at my parents house, texted my wife Happy Mothers Day before even jumping out of the covers. We had a family church obligation to attend to until about noon before traveling back home to see my daughter off to the airport to Europe.
Here is where the drama begins. With all the hubbub of the concert the night before, the relatives and grandma being around, my son doesn’t text or call my wife (his mom) HMD that morning. I didn’t get a text back immediately from my wife when I texted her at about 8 am, HMD… I figured I’d let her sleep in if that’s what she wanted to do. My son and I do our church thing, my wife finally responds to my text saying that they are packing and repacking for my daughters Europe trip and that they want the packing job to be right. When we finally get home late in the afternoon, I give her the present that I bought my wife (her favorite perfume that she is nearly out of) and my son gives her his present… (a note and a Pink Yeti mug I had actually bought my wife a week ago that I hadn’t given her yet, just in case one of the kids hadn’t gotten her a gift for Mother’s Day).
Side note… My wife is very big on gifts. She is a great gift giver and anticipates good gift receiving.
When I walked in home from traveling I could also smell that she was cooking something, and there was a salad on the table. I figured she planned something she wanted to have for dinner, since I had been with my own mother since the day before and she, my wife had been with our daughter having a fun girls time, watching movies, getting a mani/pedi, having pho… THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I got the evil eye right away. She started talking snarky to me, saying snide remarks which in turn, much to my chagrin I returned the remarks. It’s been tit for tat for the last 24 hours. She said her Mother’s Day was ruined and that it was my fault. That I should have planned the day for her. The blame is all in my court.
Ugh… I feel like every birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas… whatever day that retail America says I’m obligated to spend money to buy gifts… I’m not doing a good enough job. My wife buys our kids presents for Easter for hells sake. It’s too much. I don’t want anymore of it. Keep all the stupid gifts. It’s just the act of buying a thing and giving it. Its ridiculous.
Also… Am I supposed to be doting all over my wife on Mother’s Day with palm leaves and figs? If I am, I am. I just don’t see husbands doing all the work. I see kids…. Kids rubbing their moms back and making coupons for dishwashing and various chores. Kids taking care of moms and telling them what a great job they do raising them. In the arguments up to now, she is treating me like I am responsible for her Mother’s Day happiness and pointing at me saying she didn’t get what she wanted and that she didn’t have a good time. I can see how the husbands job is to orchestrate what the kids do for the moms but if I am wrong, I am wrong.
She is a great mom and I tell her that constantly. She knows I know that. I value her. My wife and I have a great relationship 99% of the time but this silly.

I will preface this by saying that I really have no idea what is going on at SeaTac, but as someone who LIVES HERE and just flew in, what in the Willy Wonka is going on? We had to disembark the plane on the tarmac, board a BUS, and ride for a half hour, only to walk a concrete maze back to the subway so we could get to the terminal. Once there, there was no clear signage to the light rail nor the Uber, and we wandered like idiots for half an hour until an airport contract employee showed us the very convoluted route to the garage, which then required an elevator to get to the Uber area. An Uber that cost nearly $80 to get to the city. I can only imagine what people think arriving here who aren’t used to this shit show.

Any ideas for a big birthday dinner consisting of 7 people for under $2k? I want to treat everyone. I was considering schwa but seems like they cap it at 6 people. Thanks!

Sorry in advance if I sound like I am rambling. This just happened a few hours ago and I am still crying.
For some background, I (30 f) messaged my SIL (32f) yesterday to wish her a happy Mother’s Day and to let her know I had a gift for her and a gift for my niece (6f) for my nieces up coming birthday. I always make the kids in the family something for their birthday since I am rather crafty and prefer to be more original.
My SIL, BIL, DH and I have had a rocky relationship for years. The past couple of years I have been keeping my distance as I do not feel welcome and because I am working on boundaries. There were some accusations (most founded) that they were on drugs. That is some crap I do not want around my kids. Yet, it is my “issues” that cause tension in the family because I have decided that my little nuclear family deserves rve some peace. I only bend a little bit if there is a party because the kids adore each other.
SIL told me that my niece is having a party and we were supposed to be invited. I told her that surprised me since my MIL said she had not heard of a party. She told me this when we discussed the gift I made my niece. It is an epoxy hummingbird hair clip. It took a lot of time to get right and I was quite proud of it.
SIL said BIL was supposed to extend invites to his side of the family. MIL showed me screenshots of the messages where he asked if my kids were coming (as usual) but no word of me.
SIL wrote a huge message saying BIL didn’t have a way to get a hold of me or my DH, and that of course we were invited as we are family.
It is important to note that they hold their children above our heads as a threat to take them away at the drop of a hat if things do not go their way. This has caused a lot of drama over the past 8 years. The past 2 of which I thought we were on bad terms. This was based on some comments the kids often made and the last time we said more than 2 words to each other it was a big fight.
I told SIL that it did not seem like BIL wanted me there for anything more than my kids and that I did not feel comfortable because the only person who even mentioned that I was welcome was SIL. I have gotten to the point where if I do not feel welcome I will not go. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. And while I am doing better to take care of myself, things are still difficult.
I told SIL that it was ok, I don’t want to cause tension and I actually had plans to see my mom this weekend. My mom lives a couple of hours away and sometimes I get to see my brother. It is cathartic for all of us as my husband gets a break before and after work and I get my family time once or twice a month. We normally craft together and have our “crafting therapy” which is something I really need lately.
The last couple of times I went to my mom’s my son was with MIL and FIL. My mom had me promise that during the summer I would bring my son with me at least once a month. I think this is fair so I agreed.
My SIL wrote a long answer that she sent when I was taking a nap, (No sleep last night so my nerves are frayed) Honestly I have read it twice and have not retained much of the message.
During my nap I missed 2 calls from my MIL. Then I woke up to my MIL bursting into my bedroom, no we do not live with her; she drove to our house, pounded on our door, DH let her in. She barged into my room and started yelling at me. How could I tell SIL that the screenshots were sent to me? How could I tell her we talk? (Huh?) Do I know that SIL called MIL screaming about everything? Do I know FIL is on the phone in a screaming match with BIL? And the last one was that SIL told MIL that if I do not come to my nieces birthday then my MIL would not be allowed to see the kids again.
I woke up to all of this. My DH was trying to figure out what was going on or how to handle it.
Just as quick as MIL came, she turned around and left. I offered to show her exactly what I said, but no. All my fault.
I know this situation is all drama. This is the first time in 2 years that I tried to have an actual conversation with SIL. I tried to be honest, not even brutally, just honest about how I feel.
After MIL left, my kids came in my room and hugged me. They heard everything. What 6 and 3 year old needs to see their mom break down like that?
I called my mom and told her everything and that I started falling into the dark hole of depression again. I know I am exhausted both physically and emotionally. I just needed to get this out.
This is not the first time taking the kids away has been used as a manipulation tool but this time I am being blamed for it. IDK what to do. I just want to curl up into a ball and hide from everything. I want to see my family and to stop feeling like a pawn of this fucked up chess game. I need to remember I am the queen of my own set, tackling my own problems on my own board. I was finally getting to a good place. I just hope this crap does not derail my progress again.

I’ve found many grocery deals in the past and thought about how awesome it’d be if others knew about them as well. Aside from deals offered by large grocery chains, I actually find a lot of discounted produce from smaller local ethnic markets.
I hope through this project I’m able to help others save and bring more business to these smaller markets. In addition, food waste is estimated to be between 30-40% of food supply!! So it’d be great if what we’re doing helps reduce any food waste that potentially comes from these grocery markets.

Some preliminary info:
My mum and I have lived in our townhouse for over 10 years. During that time, we have constructed planter boxes that are set on our driveway (we don't own a car, so we use the space for that). For many years my mother has carried out her hobby of gardening there. We received new neighbors approximately 1.5 years ago. For the longest time, they would be throwing parties that would leak over to the AMs of the next day, as well as do renovations. While being understanding, it got to a point where my mum couldn't take the noise anymore at night. After numerous attempts to contact our new neighbours to decrease the noise of their parties, she finally made a noise complaint to a city. Parties started to occur less frequently.
THEN came the REALLY noisy stuff. The majority of my neighbors' renovation was to finish the basement. It was during this time when OUR house would start to shake at times. Aside from the fact that this distracted my mum from doing her (remote) job, it drew a concern as to what could possibly be happening in their basement that would cause OUR house to shake. Again, she reached out to them numerous times, with vague answers. And again my mother filed an anonymous complaint.
Turned out, they did not have the permits for the type of construction they were doing in the basement. They got super-peeved at us, as they now were delayed and had to spend a bit more money.
Anyways, fast forward to 1.5 months ago, I'm helping mum with gardening stuff. The male neighbor (of the couple) decides to approach us. He decides to "apologize" and be the "bettebigger person". Following his apology though, he makes a complaint about one of our planter boxes, the one that borders the property line between us. He says that some of the wood pieces are falling off/poking out onto his property (fair, though my mum reckons he purposely took some of the pieces of, but that's speculation). He decides to give us an ultimatum: either move the planter box more onto our property (an inch our two, but with soil and wood, probably weighs a ton, so not happening), repair the boards, or destroy it. Otherwise he will complain to the city that the planter box is on his property. So.... he's still a little butthurt that we complained to the city of his actions, and wants to have something over us.
But my mum remained positive. Understanding that the outer pieces of the planter box ARE weathered (some scrap 2x4s, some decent pieces of wood), she set out to buy sheets of new plywood that would be weather-proofed, and would replace those pieces after I took them out and drilled the sheets in.
This evening we were measuring the dimensions of the planter box to figure out what lengths I would need to cut the plywood. To make one of these measurements, we had to step into our neighbors' driveway. He saw what we were doing, and asked us to get of his property. We explained what we were doing, to which he responded "unless YOU have a permit to do this, the only thing you can do is destroy it, otherwise I'll be filing my own complaints" (not verbatim, but that was the gist of it). My mum and him at a little tiff, but I got the last of the measurements for us to then leave his driveway.
I am not a confrontational person; I'm not good at aggression or telling strangers to fuck off. But I do not like the fact that I have this intimidating dude trying to scare my old mum and threatening her to destroy something she's worked years on. Furthermore, I have the following contentions:

• The planter box on the property line border was there WAY before the new neighbors bought the place. To me, the fact that they bought it at all should also be an okay/acknowledgement of the placement of the box on the property line; unless something happened to it that ACTUALLY affects them (eg breaks and soil spills over), they shouldn't (?) have a problem.
  
• We reached out multiple times to them, trying to be civil; if they responded in kind, reassuring us in some fashion, I believe we wouldn't be in this mess, especially if you're doing things you ought to get a permit for. I get taking a few shortcuts here and there, but not a good idea trying to do so if you can't cover your ass/be cautious
  
• I looked at City of Toronto's website (https://www.toronto.ca/services-payments/building-construction/apply-for-a-building-permit/when-do-i-need-a-building-permit/), while it DEFINITELY says one is required when finishing a basement (so we were right to complain), don't think I see one particular about changing out wood for a planter box (which I am not considering an addition to the house, as a line of pots would basically be the same thing)
  
• I am borderline worried he'll try to go out of his way to get my mum in trouble
  
• How else are we gonna replace the old wood with new if we aren't on their property a little? We're specifically doing it because they don't want any of the old stuff breaking off into their driveway (potentially damaging their capop a tire, according to them) in the future. It's gotta make sense!
  
• I think he was "trying to be nice/bigger person", but he just wants to make as sad for making him spend more money and time by making us destroy our own stuff. So much for self-improvement on his part I guess.
  

Anyways, I think we'll try our best to fix up the box as efficiently as we can. We won't be covert about it, but to avoid the neighbors yelling at us again, not gonna loudly advertise it. Just drill out screws, take pieces out, and drill in a big sheet. But does anyone want to chime in on what rights I have if this guy calls the cops on us or makes a scene? Again, we're doing this at HIS request, and he's making it difficult to do. Or if you believe there is bias on my part, feel free to point it out! Free to answer questions as well. Hope I was able to get my points across. Any law stuff would help also!

Hello, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread but I don't have anywhere else to go. I don't know if I'm reading the situation wrong/if I'm the crazy exaggerator so here I wanted an outside opinion.
For context, me and my sister were raised by my single mom, who is also an immigrant. My sister has classified my mom as a narcissist and an abuser, and I would definitely agree that she has narcissistic tendencies, they're pretty much in line with the "immigrant parent" experience and although the abuse has lessened with age.
My sister was pretty much the scapegoat and I was the golden child 80% of the time; the only time I was "the problem" was when social issues were involved as I was very much autistic+ADD and had no idea how to relate to others, so I was bullied and blamed for it. My sister has ADHD and was terrible at school, which is where a lot of my mom's anger towards her came from. She's very bitter about the majority of our childhood, which I understand; there are things that happened that I will also simply never recover from, even with therapy.
My sister is bubbly, charismatic, and very empathetic. I can't stress that enough; everyone loves her. She's friends with random people in our neighborhood, she talks to and befriends homeless people, and is training to be a social worker. She has many close friends and talks to them all day and night. Our relationship was pretty rocky when we were kids, and I can't say that we're as close as some siblings are, but I always thought our relationship was okay. My mom would sometimes complain that we were against her, but I think she was just frustrated that we wouldn't turn on each other easily. However, I did start to notice a few things about my sisters behavior that is concerning me.

• She has a victim complex/hard time doing anything important by herself, but only when I'm available to help/do it for her.

I think this is a consequence of her never being trusted to do things as a child, but I thought she would attempt to get better with age. Nope. She would ask me to fill out her student loan and passport forms, saying that she was scared to get things wrong. When I would try to get her to do it herself, she would get upset with me and call me selfish. She says that this is because she feels that she is not smart enough to do anything bc of her childhood; fair, but she's 22 now, so I think she should try to help herself out and try to build confidence. She now pays her friends to fill out forms for her; one of them is actually being paid to apply for graduate programs for her. Any mention of this makes her talk about how badly she was treated as a kid and how its lead to her being so scared of doing anything, so OF COURSE she needs help 24/7.
But at the same time, she goes out of her way to help other people with their paperwork; she even helped a coworker get into grant/loan program for university, and that paperwork was 10 times harder than what she has to fill out. It's very confusing, it makes me feel like she does these things so people like her.

• She hates responsibility.
  I feel like this is her being self aware that she's sort of useless. For example; she doesn't have a credit card, and just uses my moms/mine and pays us back at the end of the month. Recently, I asked her to stop using my credit card since she kept forgetting to pay me the right amount. She also had this habit of using my card as a form of revenge against me if I forgot to pick up her things during my grocery run (she can't drive). She would also threaten to use my card if I didn't do things for her (she said it was a joke, but it rubbed me the wrong way). Anyway, she got upset and said she needed my card for emergencies. I asked why she didn't just apply for a credit card. She said she was unsure if she would be responsible enough to manage a credit cards and make payments on time. But...she felt comfortable using MY card? The one that I have to manage and make sure payments are made on time? I explained how worrisome that was and she just told me I was crazy and controlling.
  

This has also steeped into how she approaches things like deadlines. She missed a deadline for a grant she really needed (twice) and spent an entire week emailing the grant team asking them to accept her application, and then emailing their bosses when they refused. Whenever she's rejected from graduate programs she's always confused and says she should've gotten in, even though there are some clear deficits in her applications.

• She is always telling me how bad of a person I am when I don't do as she says. Like, morally.

A good example I can think of is that she asked me to chip in $23 for her friends birthday; I was confused why I had to pay since the girl wasn't MY friend. My sister argued that since I had talked to her and liked her, this made us friends, and friends contribute to birthdays. She also said if I backed out then she would have to split my part over other people who I would consider to be my friends and that those friends were in tight financial situations, so I would be a shitty person for making them pay extra. I still refused to pay; this really had nothing to do with me. She just looked at me and said that she was surprised that I was such a shitty person. There are similar stories to this; whenever she wants me to do something and I refuse, she makes me out to be a horrible person. Not in a yelling/screaming way; she just comments "oh, never knew you were that shitty" and keeps it up for however long it is until I do the thing she asked for. for some reason I never really saw them as weird until I brought it up with some friends and they said that was messed up.

• She makes fun of/belittles me in front of her friends constantly, but gets upset when I do it back.

^pretty self explanatory. a lot of my sisters friends really like me; I think they see me as a big sister, and a lot of them are in similar situations/career paths as me. They're all very nice. My sister and I are very snarky towards each other, but she is especially mean to me in front of her friends. I'm not 100% sure what she says either; she tries her best to make sure I'm not around much when she's talking to her friends, going out of her way to make sure to exclude me from any plans she makes even when her friends want me to come. She also enjoys rubbing the fact she has friends/plans that I can't join in my face. I'm usually quite busy so it doesn't bother me much, but I have noticed it. she also tends to try and be mean to me in front of them as a joke, but if I snap back I can tell that she gets upset about it. She's asked me to not call her things like stupid in front of her friends (fair, she can be super sensitive about that), but has told many of them about my ASD without my permission (she only asked when they let it slip that they knew). So that's weird.

• she is always switching up the narrative.

this is the thing that makes me feel INSANE. she is always telling me how horrible she has it at home and how much our mom hates her, and how I will never understand how it feels to be her so it's unfair when I call her out on things like not doing chores (like she does to me) because she will always be scolded more harshly than I will be. that's fine, a little grace is fine, but then she'll just outright lie about how "great" she is. For example, in the summer my mother was gone, so we split the chores in the house. I work a lot on weekdays, so she was to take care of general upkeep, and I would do the heavy chores (taking laundry to the laundromat, cooking in bulk for the week, mopping and vacuuming the apartment) on the weekend. I noticed that she would often not be the best at this, but as long as I could fix it on the weekend it was fine. But if I ever messed up, she would be merciless; she refused to wash the dishes for a whole week because I couldn't do them on Sunday since I had extra errands to run that weekend. I brought this up to her and she said we split the chores and that was that. I pointed out that she wasn't keeping her end of the bargain either, but she told me she was simply too busy to keep up with all the work she was being given and that the chore split was unfair anyway. I didn't really know how to deal with that so I dropped it.

• She sets boundaries, but I can't.

There are more issues but I will leave it at this one for last. She has always been very vocal about setting boundaries with me and my mom. For example, we can't give her chores last minute or it messes up her schedule (even if she's doing nothing). She's also really big on talking issues out, but usually the talk just keeps going until we agree with whatever she's saying. Personally, I am the type of person who gets really short and petty when I'm angry, so its not a good idea to talk to me. She will INSIST on talking to me even when I want to shut the conversation down and say my refusal to talk is just proof that she's right and I'm wrong. But if I talk, the conversation will just repeat itself until she gets the answer she wants out of me. She's very good with therapy-speech as well; to be honest, she always sounds condescending when she argues with me or my mom even though she says I'm just projecting. I could be, but I don't hear it when she's arguing with her friends or in online classes.
I'm probably being very one sided here, but whenever I think about some of these issues it just reminds me of my mom in a way. I've survived my mom by just nodding along and waiting for the storm to blow over, but my sisters actions are much more annoying to me for some reason. If anyone has any input it would be appreciated. I don't want to think I'm living with 2 narcissists; maybe I'm actually the problem. because of my ASD I find it very hard to communicate my feelings and I tend to shut up or become very mean and short at random times. I try my best but I do need to work on using my words and making sure they can't be used against me.

I had these custom boards made so they would fit on top of endless potentiometers. They take in 3 pins GND, VCC, and a Signal. The circuit is just a diode/resistor ladder that fades the LED based on voltage which means that I can control it from a PWM pin after I filter it. Works great.
So my idea is to use the HIFI PWM technique using two downscaled PWM pins for a combined higher bit-rate PWM output. I figured I would use two of the timers for this giving me a total of 4 outputs.
Then I'd have some buttons to select which output or parameter is being modified with a single knob. And since the knob is relative, I can use the led array to display the value of the parameter being modified. etc.
I'm thinking of adding a Clock input jack and some ADC-connected jacks for CV input. But what to make? I guess I could always use more LFOs or we could easily make a digital envelop generator too. I think it'd be cool to make this a 1u module. What do you guys think would be useful? I like the idea of having this be somewhat generic enough so that it could be reprogrammed with different functionality, or work with different modes.

Since high school hanggang nag college ako never ako nagkaroon ng circle of friends. Napapasama naman ako minsan sa mga circle nila pero alam niyo yung feeling na extra ka lang dun? Like pag may kailangan sila lumalapit sila sayo pero pag may mga gala sila sila sila lang nagyayayaan tas makikita mo nalang na nagpost na sila ng picturr together.
Then after we graduated, nagkaroon ako ng close friends na classmates ko ,dalawa. Sabay kaming nag enroll sa review center, sabay kaming nagfile for board examination, sabay kaming nag aaral, basta super close kami that time. Hanggang sa natapos yung board exams and naging close din namin yung isang circle na classmate din namin. Sinasama kami pag may mga gala sila like sa beach or fiesta or kahit sa bahay lang nila to hang out. Sabay sabay din kami pumunta nung oath taking kasi thankfully pasado kami lahat. Then sa mga thanksgiving parties nila invited kami lagi. Tapos yung kinasal yung isa kasama kami sa mga bridesmaids.
Then recently yung unang naging close ko na kasama ko mula nung before pa kami nagreview hanggang sa nakapasa kami eh di na masyado nagchachat sakin. I mean I understand naman na may work na siya and iba na priorities niya. Actually di ko pa nga alam na may work na siya eh. Dun ko na nalaman nung nag attend kami ng kasal. Sabi niya need daw niya ng picture as proof kasi umabsent lang siya. Nag ask ako ano ba work niya sabi niya secret. Okay, di ko na pinilit. Pero malalaman ko na sa bago naming naging close nag oopen up pala siya at nagsheshare. Nadisappoint ako kasi kami unang naging close ehh. Okay lang sana kung kung nagsesecret siya sakin tas ganun din sa mga bago naming friends diba. Kaso hindi, sakin lang siya ganun, tas malalaman ko sa bago naming naging close na alam pala nila kung anong work ni girl pati boyfriend ni girl. I felt so left out. Parang sila na yung mas close tas ako out of the picture na?
Tas eto pa, dati iniinvite ako ni girl sa birthday niya at fiesta sa kanila tas recently nakita ko nalang sa post na umuwi pala siya tas nasa kanila yung bago niyang circle of friends kasi fiesta sa kanila. Wala na talaga. Di ko nga alam may nagawa ba kong mali para bigla nalang maechapwera. Pero di ko na pinilit sarili ko sa kanila. I unfollowed them para di ko na makita mga posts nila. My (35) birthday is this week and my wife (32) is upset because she hasn't figured out what to get me. I apparently ruined the one idea she had because I bought something for myself this past week; which she had told me previously she wouldn't be getting me, so I didn't think twice about it.
Admittedly, I am not the easiest person to get a gift for because I hate answering the question, "what do you want for ____?" I hate asking people to get me something, especially anything specific. Plus, I don't really want or need anything. I am not a hard person to please (contrary to stating I'm difficult to get a gift for, i just understand im a hard person to think of something for because im unhelpfulin coming up with ideas) and am always happy with anything anyone gets me, because I don't expect anything tbh.
Our anniversary was a few months ago and I loved everything my wife gave me and last Xmas she completely knocked it out of the park. Neither occasions I specifically asked for anything, she just gave me something I had talked about or just some things she knew I'd like.
I'm not annoyed by the fact that she hasn't gotten me anything but it's hard not to feel annoyed about the fact that she's waited until the week before/of and hasn't thought of anything; and she's the one upset about it.
Her birthday is a few months away and I already have all her gifts ordered or in the house.
Am I justified in being annoyed or am I just an asshole for not being more helpful? Also, how do I not show her my annoyance and just make her feel worse about it, which is the last thing I want?

Hi all,
I am contemplating a gift idea for my best friend and his soon to be born son and wanted to tap into your expertise.
The idea is to start an infinity bottle in his son’s honor, with the goal of contributing to it once a year. The rough thinking is to buy a bottle of whiskey once a year around his birthday, and drink 1/3-1/2 of the bottle together (me and my best friend), and contribute the other half to the infinity bottle. Then, on his son’s 21st birthday we can tap into the infinity bottle and begin to drink it down / continue it.
I liked the concept because it is a gift that would bring us all together and would represent the continued relationship and long term commitment.
Any pitfalls or any reason why this would be a bad idea from a whiskey storage perspective? Though we’d probably not drink bad whiskey, I’m less concerned on taste and more focused on sentiment / ensuring it doesn’t go bad / oxidize.
I estimate I’d need an airtight glass ~2-3 gallon bottle for this exercise.
Curious if anyone has done something similar or has expertise relevant to this! Thanks in advance.

The apothecary spent the first few months tending to wounded Space Marines, starting their garden aboard the ship, and learning as much as they could in order to stay in the good graces of the Lady who took them in. They had learned that she was Mortarion, Primarch and daughter of the God Emperor of Mankind. They knew little of the Emperor of Mankind, and he focused on more practical medical research than learning more about their commander’s father.
Mortarion had kept a watchful eye on the apothecary she had brought on board. She half expected her sons to rip the psyker to shreds, or for the young apothecary to be overwhelmed by the number of wounded and dying. However, they had thrown himself at his work, spending time working on caring for her sons and learning. Most surprising was that the apothecary had created a garden inside the apothecary chamber, and Mortarion was starting to think the chamber smelled .... good? Pleasant? She could not be sure, but she was sure that she had made a good decision. Her sons seemed to have even accepted the psyker into their ranks, at least enough that they wouldn't immediately kill them. Typhus however did not seem quite as accepting of the apothecary, and Mortarion couldn’t quite blame him.
The apothecary kept working and working. They could feel that their psyker powers were getting stronger, and their control over them growing. They could heal the massive sons of his master quickly, knowing now how to best heal them but also how to best control their healing psyker powers. As they improved his apothecary skills and their psyker powers, they worked diligently on their garden, adding new plants and keeping the garden beautiful. Typhus watched on from a distance, sometimes while he was checking on his brothers, sometimes just to keep an eye on the psyker. He did not trust the apothecary, no matter how much his mother said that their skills were of great use, and they were badly needed at all times.
Mortarion started spending more and more time in the apothecary chamber. She said it was to look after her sons, but Mortarion knew part of her just wanted to enjoy the smell of the flowers. She wanted to smell something else, something other than the gas and the haze. Of course she never took her mask off, but what bit of pleasant aroma she got, she would take. Typhus could see this. He could see what he considered to be the slow corruption of his mother by someone by a psyker, even if they were from his home planet. It didn’t matter. He would have to confront his mother, or take action on his own. As he plotted, far distant bile filled laughter could be heard, the father was watching and waiting.
They could see their master spending more time in the apothecary chamber. One day they walked up to their master, “Do you have any wounds that need tending M’lady?” They held a series of flowers and herbs in their hands that they had been working with before they went to check on Mortarion.
Mortarion wasn’t sure what to say but thought it would be best to say something. “I am alright apothecary thank you…” Mortarion didn’t know what came over her, but she hoped that no one heard what she said.
They couldn’t quite hear the last parts, but they were at least comforted that their master was unhurt. They returned to their apothecary work, creating substances, tending to their plants, and the Space Marines.
Typhus looked on ever longer in disgust. Upon Mortarion’s exit from the apothecary, he approached her with the intent to confront her. “Mother, is it truly necessary to keep the psyker on the ship, I care not if he is skilled, he will surely cause the corru….”
“Typus, I will not tolerate such thoughts. The apothecary is within the rights and is well supervised. They will bring no harm to your brothers, I assure you. Now, if there is nothing else, I have other matters to attend to.” Mortarion walked off to take on other duties, leaving Typhus in a building fury. He would not tolerate the desecration of their mother; he would have to get rid of the plants. That would surely drive a wedge between Mortarion and the apothecary.
The apothecary had the nightmare again, the four voices laughing, and the smell of bile.They can also see their garden withered and dying, the smell of decay in their nostrils. They wake up in a shock, hurrying to check on their garden. They found that their vision had come true, and that they were too late. Mortarion came in shortly after, seeing the apothecary on their knees trying to find something in the field of decay. Mortarion called out to them, “Apothecary, what has happened?” Mortarion moved to their side, laying a hand on their shoulder. “Apothecary, what has happened” she said again, but quieter, calmer; maybe even caring.
The apothecary turns to Mortarion, eyes wet with tears, hands and knees covered in dirt, grime and withered plant parts. “My plants. They're gone. They’re all gone….”
Mortarion did not know how to comfort the apothecary, they had no knowledge of care or concern. However, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a lily, growing alone in the field of decay. She was going to grab it, but seeing the grim on her hands, she avoided touching the little flower that was left. “It seems a lily still remains. I know of a safer place if you wish to take it elsewhere.”
The apothecary looked up, gently cupping the lily in their hands. “Thank you, M’Lady.” They dug the lily carefully out of the ground, placing it into a pot near their workstation. “I am ready to transport it, M'Lady. Please, lead the way.” The apothecary said, dried tears caking their face.
Mortarion led the apothecary to her personal quarters, gesturing to an empty space on the far side of the room. “You can use this as your garden. No one will hurt your plants here.”
The apothecary was both shocked and appreciative at the opportunity. They gently laid the pot into space, taking care to keep it safe. Mortarion thought perhaps she would do her best to ease the pains of the apothecary, her lily. “I’ll leave you to your work.” She said, calmly, not her usual aggressive or brooding manner. She exited her room, leaving her lily alone to care for her flower.
As soon as she was out of line of sight, her face twisted in hatred as she went searching for Typhus. Once she found him, she picked him up, holding him by his neck. “What did you do to the apothecary’s garden!? Tell me Typhus!”
Typhus laughed maniacally in Mortarion’s face; his face twisted with an evil she had not seen from her sons. “You care too much for that psyker. Have you forgotten what those sorcerers did, did you forget mother? Have you forgotten you are?”
Mortarion squeezed his neck tighter, her hatred burning in her chest. “You know better than to talk to me like that.” She could see the mark of Chaos upon her son, and she took her scythe in free hand. “You are no longer a son of mine; your corruption will end with you. Goodbye traitor.” She cut off his head with her scythe, carrying his body to the airlock, where she jettisoned the body of what was once her son.
Mortarion went to join her lily in her room, joining her apothecary in the making of their garden. She hoped it would calm her down, she hoped that she could smell that sweet smell again, she hoped that she could show her traitor son that he was wrong. She would show him that he was wrong, even if she had no idea how to garden.

So... since I was probably 14 (I am 16, turning 17 in July), I've been walking and jogging at night for three hours. I go to a boarding school for about 9 months a year and what I've been noticing is that people that I've known since I was a freshman have been asking me if I had been losing weight and I tell them I haven't because almost monthly, I always weigh myself and I either keep my weight or lose probably about five pounds at most lol. So, in summary, since September, I've been weighing 345 lbs but people are asking if I had been losing weight but I haven't. Granted, I am because like I had stated, I walk around a lot during after hours but I hadn't really lost weight, I just wanted to ask if it was "Normal" in a sense or if it was just them trying to be nice.

So over the summer, I am going to at least try to lose 50 lbs because I have made a bet with a friend that each and every pound I lose, he has to pay me a dollar. What my question is if it is Better to go on an OMAD diet or continue my walks but go three times a day and to workout. (Morning, Afternoon and Night.) I am also aware of the risks of both. I might try to make it harder on myself, by that I mean in the middle of the summer which is probably sometime in July, I might try to walk to a "Gathering Place" that my people use to celebrate the birthday of my small town. The distance from my town to their is about 30 to 20 kilometers (18 to 12 miles) but the road there is pretty rough by vehicle, I also might have to deal with animals such as wolves or bears. While doing that, I will probably try to put some heavy gear to make it more difficult and painful but that one is still up to debate. So, in summary, which is better?

Hi everyone- my friend of 15 years has stopped hanging out with me and talking to me for the past 6 months after a conflict between my boyfriend (36) and his wife (31). I have tried reaching out to get together and he says “I’m doing me” and doesn’t want to get together claiming it’s work related or something. I’ve asked a couple times if everything is okay and he says yes. We’ve had a strictly platonic relationship since college. His wife and I were friends. My boyfriend and him were friends. They were heavily involved in my kid’s life and I had been very active and involved with their daughter since her birth. I pretty much saw her every month. They even moved to live closer to us and we live 3 minutes away.
His wife and him had always had a lot of issues and we were always there for both of them. My home was pretty much always open and I would hear both of them out and stay neutral. His wife would come to me telling me crazy things about him and it would upset and disgust me but afterwards I’d then tell her I felt bad not hearing his side and making any judgements. She would beg me not to tell him we spoke. I always agreed and kept my promises. I never broke that trust. Of course I don’t think it was a great idea to be both their confidant but his wife is from another country and was very lonely and emotional.
6 months ago she started to tell stories about my boyfriend. Adding untrue details or putting herself in the center of a story. We ignored it. Then One night she called me up to say he tried kissing her (cheek) and called him cringe. We both understood the cultural aspect but found it odd that this came up after 4 years. My boyfriend was very embarrassed and offended to be accused of this and would’ve appreciated her saying something in the moment or years ago. He apologized but also asked for some space. (Prior to that we saw them once or twice a week, which yes, was a lot)
Her husband was upset with her and tried talking to her. Apparently she didn’t care about a potential loss of friendship and “had crazy ideas about us” (her husbands words). Initially he came by a few times and then after Christmas he stopped. He doesn’t text me ever. I’ve reached out and he is short or disinterested. I’ve asked if everything’s ok and he’s just busy. My boyfriend reached out and told him we love them all and if they were rubbed the wrong way by something then we never intended it. My friend didn’t respond.
My son will ask about him all the time. I miss their daughter. She used to call me aunt and now she probably doesn’t know who I am anymore (she’s under 3). I’m super sad by it. I was depressed for a while but have been coming to terms with it more and more. He text me recently for my birthday and I asked if he was mad at me and he brushed that off playfully saying not to worry.
I’m at a loss here- is it best to move on? Or respect the space? Or reach out again? I’m completely aware friendships can have ups and downs and people can need space… but to go from spending so much time to radio silence is weird and I don’t get an explanation. If kids weren’t involved I probably wouldn’t be as upset either. Please help me come to terms with this.

Hello! I am a woman who is very, very tall. I am 6’4. I love working with children and I love to dress up. I was wondering if being a party princess is an option for me or if I can’t simply due to my height being too tall for any of the princesses.
I have a lot of experience working with children. I worked at a daycare for many years in the infant, 2s room, 3s room, and preschool room. I also have been a painting teacher for children ages preschool-6th grade. I have taught children’s painting birthday parties. I have babysat as well.
I am very experienced with makeup as well. I love to dress up. The only possible problem is my height. I am way taller than most women and even most men.

Main question: ideas, concerns, interest, and additions
Lore: two religions are trying to take over an area by their gods, heroes, monsters, and artifacts battling it out. (Religions being non modern major religions for obvious reasons)
Deckbuilding: you choose any number of god cards you want involved in your deck building. Each god as an associated religion. (Norse, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, aztec) reveal your chosen god (only 1 of each religion). Your deck has cards of those religions or neutral. (Bountiful harvest is neutral but trip through the duat is Egyptian). Deck size between 40 - 60 cards.
Types of cards/mechanics: Resource: devotion. Start with 5 devotion and gain 1 every turn. Devotion has 2 states. Praying and defending. Praying devotion is used up for that turn only. Going back to defending the next turn. Defending devotion is your health total. If your defending devotion hits 0 you lose 2 Praying devotion per damage. This is your lifetotal and your resource throughout the game.
God cards: give a set amount of devotion every turn and allows for powerful effects gaining or losing devotion.
Creatures: heroes, monsters, or unaffiliated parts of the religion. Act as a wall for health. Each turn a creature can attack or use an ability. Abilities vary by religion and creature. When a creature attacks it deals it's damage from left to right to all creatures the defending player controls. Placing is important.
Artifacts/locations: these are items or places that are associated with the religion. Items, weapons, temples, divine areas. They last for a stated number of turns before going to the underworld.
Events: these are one and done effects that change the game state. Draw 2 cards. Destroy 1 creature etc.
Each religion has a main focus. Norse: shuffle. Returning cards to and searching for cards from decks. (Shuffle one creature into it's owners deck. Reveal the top cards until a new creature is shown. Put that onto the field in the same spot as the old creature.)
Roman: theft. Choosing target cards in hand, deck, field, or grave and using them or their effects for yourself. (Target 1 event your opponent has played. Copy it's effects)
Greek: creatures. Draw, play, buff, switch, and kill creatures. Very board focused but little card Draw or interaction with non board
Egyptian: underworld. Send and recover cards from the grave. Mill, instant kill, resurrect, etc
Aztec: sacrifice. Killing your creatures and permanently lowering your devotion for huge effects. Higher cost cards use your opponents devotion and cards too.
