Hey, Guardians, it's the Weapons Team here with the weapon balance update for The Final Shape.
There's a lot to go through, from a comprehensive PvE weapon damage pass to Exotics changes, varying from substantial reworks to minor tweaks. We are also tamping down some outliers with an eye toward the World First race for the upcoming raid. And maybe there's a hint in here about a returning fan-favorite weapon, too...

Weapon Archetypes

Back in update 6.3.0, we rolled a set of Spec mods (Dragonfly, Surrounded, and Rampage) into the base functionality of those perks, and now we're coming for the rest of the Spec mods. We've increased base weapon damage almost universally (making exceptions for weapons that were already overperforming or that we buffed very recently) and have retired the following weapon mods:
  • Boss Spec, Taken Spec, Minor Spec, Major Spec, and Adept Big Ones Spec.
We were already happy with the damage output of Exotic Primary weapons and Trace Rifles, so we only slightly reduced their damage bonus versus red bars. In most cases this means their damage output is roughly unchanged (since they receive the buffs below).
  • Reduced damage bonus versus Minors from 40% to 30% (except Fighting Lion).
Included below are the matching damage changes by weapon archetype. Note that we made some exceptions for Exotic weapons that were already performing strongly and applied some buffs just to specific tiers of enemies. Except where noted, these changes are in PvE only. Also note that, because Exotic weapons can't equip mods, this gives them a larger relative buff than Legendaries, e.g., Riskrunner's maximum possible damage is increased 10% versus red bars, but Shayura's Wrath's is increased by 3% in effect because it can no longer slot a Minor Spec mod.
In addition to compensating for the removal of Spec mods, we've taken this opportunity to buff some weapon types that have languished in endgame PvE, most notably Pulse Rifles.
  • Increased base PvE damage versus all combatants.
    • Pulse Rifles: 20%
      • Exceptions: Graviton Lance and Revision Zero's Heavy Burst mode. (These both have an intrinsic PvE damage buff built in.)
    • Pellet Shotguns: 10%
      • Exceptions: Legend of Acrius, Tractor Cannon, Conditional Finality, and The Fourth Horseman. (These are all already performing as intended.)
    • Slug Shotguns: 9%
    • Fusion Rifles: 7%
      • Exceptions: One Thousand Voices. (This one was just buffed.)
    • Sniper Rifles: 7%
      • Exceptions: Izanagi's Burden's Honed Edge shots and Cloudstrike's storm. (These are both performing well.)
    • Glaive projectiles: 7%
    • Linear Fusion Rifles: 5%
  • Increased damage versus Minors (red bars)—this stacks with the base PvE damage increase.
    • Sidearms, Trace Rifles, Scout Rifles, and Bows: 20%
    • Auto Rifles and Pulse Rifles: 15%
      • For Pulse Rifles, this is in addition to the above buff, and Graviton Lance and Revision Zero's Heavy Burst mode are included.
        • I.e. Pulse Rifles will do 1.2 * 1.15 = 38% more damage to red bars.
    • Submachine Guns: 10%
    • Hand Cannons: 5%
  • Increased damage versus Majors (orange bars).
    • Trace Rifles: 20%
  • Increased damage globally, including PvP.
    • Machine Guns: 7%
    • Swords: 7%
  • Splash damage from add clear-Exotic Primary weapons was overperforming in The Final Shape when combined with the damage buffs listed above, so we've pulled it down slightly on a handful of weapons.
    • Reduced splash damage by 10%:
      • Sunshot
      • Trinity Ghoul
      • Polaris Lance
      • Graviton Lance
Several releases back, we gave Kinetic weapons a substantial damage bonus in PvE to account for it being harder to use them in subclass builds. In general, we're ok with leaving this in place until we have a better-defined role for Kinetic weapons, but the bonus damage versus Boss-tier combatants was making it hard for weapons of other damage types to compete.
  • Kinetic damage type weapons no longer deal bonus damage to bosses; damage to other combatant tiers is unchanged.
    • For example, a kinetic Sniper Rifle and a Stasis Sniper Rifle of the same subfamily will both deal the same damage to a boss.
We've also made some quality-of-life changes to several weapon types.
  • Updated Heavy, Adaptive, and Aggressive Burst weapon intrinsic names to match burst count across all weapon archetypes. Functionality is unchanged.
    • 2-burst: Heavy Burst
      • Includes Sidearms, Hand Cannons, and Pulse Rifles.
    • 3-burst: Adaptive Burst
      • Includes Sidearms, Linear Fusion Rifles, and Adaptive Pulse Rifles.
    • 4-burst: Aggressive Burst
      • Includes Pulse Rifles.
  • Removed the foundry name from the Veist Rapid-Fire, Häkke Precision, and Omolon Adaptive weapon intrinsics.
  • Scout Rifles
    • Updated the hip-fire reticle to better show accuracy and aim-assist state.
  • Hand Cannons
    • Some aggressive Hand Cannons struggle to compete with the stats of the top-tier examples [cough] Igneous Hammer [cough], so with Crimil's Dagger and Something New returning in The Final Shape, we updated their stats.
      • Crimil's Dagger (Iron Banner)
        • Stability: 23 to 31
        • Handling: 23 to 31
        • Magazine Size: 8 to 9
        • Airborne Effectiveness: 10 to 21
      • Something New (Solstice)
        • Stability: 27 to 30
        • Handling: 24 to 30
        • Magazine Size: 8 to 9
  • Low inventory Sniper Rifles were a little too low in PvE for our liking, so we've increased the minimum.
    • Increased minimum reserves from 14 to 17 shots; maximum reserve is unchanged.
  • Linear Fusion Rifles
    • Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifles are strong, but in some cases are quite hard to control.
      • Reduced firing animation kick and recoil for Adaptive Linear Fusion Rifles.
  • Wave Frame Grenade Launchers deal competitive damage as of the Destiny 2: Into the Light update, but some stats on these didn't have a gameplay effect. In this pass, we're adjusting the blast radius.
    • The size of the wave is now affected by the blast radius stat. This will mostly impact the width of the wave, though the length and height will also be scaled.
      • The default display stat for the blast radius has been changed from 100 to 50 (where 50 represents the previous baseline—any stat over 50 will result in a larger wave segment than what was possible before).
    • Special ammo Wave – Frame Grenade Launchers overperform as add clear weapons in their current state, so we've pulled the length of the wave back a little.
      • Reduced the length of the waves from 22 meters to 15 meters (except for Dead Messenger).
  • Swords
    • Updated the Sword reticle to better indicate its charge state. When Sword energy is consumed, the amount of delay the Sword has before it begins to recharge now subtly appears in the reticle.
    • Bug fixes:
      • Fixed an issue where the Overwhelming Battlesong debuff from some missions would prevent Swords from recharging or losing energy while guarding.
      • Fixed an issue where unpowered caster Sword heavy attacks would not reset the Sword's energy recharge delay.
      • Fixed an issue where uncharged adaptive Sword heavy attacks cost the same amount of ammo as their charged counterparts. They now cost 1 ammo, same as other uncharged heavy attacks. ##Exotics
Divinity's ability to bypass combatant gameplay by generating a weak spot (called a "cage" internally) on command has too high an uptime as it stands, particularly with trigger feathering. We're not changing how effective the cage is or how feathering works, but we are increasing how long it takes to generate the cage, which will make it less ammo-efficient and less useful against targets that break aim frequently.
  • Increased the number of shots required to generate the cage by 75% against combatants (PvP unchanged).
Rat King's firing animation makes the weapon hard to control at high rate of fire, so we've updated it.
  • Swapped the firing animation to the same one used by other auto-fire Sidearms.
Devil's Ruin could be made to apply its firing animation to other equipped Sidearms.
  • Fixed an issue where the firing animation from Devil's Ruin would get applied to other equipped Sidearms if the weapon was swapped during the firing animation.
Symmetry needed a little attention, particularly its reload speed and handling, so we took this opportunity to increase those via the catalyst.
  • Catalyst now provides +10 reload speed, +10 handling, and the Eddy Current perk, in addition to its existing effects.
Gjallarhorn's Wolfpack Rounds always looked like Arc projectiles, regardless of the weapon's actual damage type.
  • Updated the visuals of Wolfpack Rounds to match the damage type of the weapon.For example:
    • On Gjallarhorn, they will use Solar effects.
    • On the Royal Entry Void Rocket Launcher buffed by Gjallarhorn, they will have Void effects.
Touch of Malice's burn from the Darkness Ball didn't last long enough to be useful in PvE.
  • Increased duration of burn applied by the Darkness Ball against combatants from 2 to 3.5 seconds.
Osteo Striga made it too easy to spread poison across a whole encounter from a couple of kills of weak combatants.
  • Now has a 4-second cooldown on the poison burst on kills. (Poison burst from sustained damage doesn't receive this cooldown.)
Necrochasm's add clear role wasn't as strong as we'd like, so we've buffed it and replaced the Outlaw perk on the catalyst with a new, custom perk that leans into this role.
  • Intrinsic perk now provides increased reload speed after precision kills.
  • Increased duration of burn applied by the Cursed Thrall explosion against combatants from 2 to 3.5 seconds.
  • Catalyst has been rebuilt.
    • One for Thrall: Damaging 3 combatants in quick succession provides a period of increased damage, range, and aim assist.
While The Lament’s damage is roughly equivalent to other Swords, the healing on hit largely removes the intended downside of using a Sword for boss DPS, and the chained heavy attack was too strong.
  • Reduced healing effect by 20%.
  • While this weapon does inherit the 7% global buff to Swords, we've reduced the damage of the high end of the chained heavy attack by 20% from that point.
    • This means combos at lower stacks are less affected by the change than combos at higher stacks.
Dead Man's Tale's rapid-fire hipfire fantasy isn't landing as well as we'd like, so we've bumped up the rate of fire and added a bit of stability to Cranial Spike to make this easier to control. At the same time, its strength is skewed a little high on mouse and keyboard and a little low on controller, so we've tuned accuracy and magnetism (controller reticle friction) to address this.
  • Baseline:
    • Cranial Spike stacks now grant stability in addition to aim assist stat and range (+2 per stack).
    • Increased reload speed benefit of Cranial Spike stacks.
  • With catalyst, iwhen hip-firing:
    • Slightly reduced accuracy benefits.
    • Increased magnetism falloff scale (1.6 to 1.7).
    • Increased baseline rate of fire from 130RPM to 140RPM.
    • Removed PvE-only damage buff that scaled with stacks of Cranial Spike and added a 15% damage bonus at maximum stacks of Cranial Spike.
The Colony's fantasy of spawning self-replicating insectoid robots is something we've wanted to juice for a while now. This update allows The Colony to deal with waves of combatants in a unique way.
  • Now spawns additional insectoid robots on final blows. More robots (up to five) spawn from tougher combatants.
Truth has fallen far behind other Exotic Rocket Launchers, largely due to its lackluster damage, and we wanted to lean further into total rocket count.
  • Increased area-of-effect (AoE) damage such that it doesn't lose noticeable damage due to not dealing impact damage.
  • Increased total reserves by 3. (This is on top of the reserves change to high impact Rocket Launchers from the 7.3.5 update.)
The Queenbreaker's damage output is outpaced by Legendary Linear Fusion Rifles, so we've increased its damage and reserve ammo to compensate. We do see frequent requests to move Queenbreaker to the Energy slot, but given the number of Special ammo damage options in this slot, we have opted to push it further in the Heavy slot. We're working on some functionality changes to this weapon for a future update as well.
  • Increased damage versus bosses, minibosses, Champions, and vehicles by 12%.
  • Increased reserve ammunition by 3.
The power from Cerberus+1's focus fire perk from the Exotic catalyst was limited by it being always available. We've changed this to only being available following a kill, allowing us to increase its strength.
  • Focus fire now will activate on Special reloads following a kill and will no longer reduce range or rate of fire.
In a world where Bastion has competition for a Fusion Rifle in the kinetic slot, we felt that it was time to lean further into emulating Saint-14's combat style.
  • Reworked Saint's Fists perk: Dealing damage with melee increases your charge rate, damage, and reload speed for a short duration. Landing a majority of pellets in a burst increases melee damage.
Eriana's Vow has fallen behind other anti-barrier Special weapons and, as a Solar weapon, has the opportunity for a subclass tie-in.
  • Breaking a matched shield or piercing a Champion's Barrier will cause the target to ignite.
Deterministic Chaos didn't have a clear niche when it shipped, so we've redesigned it to be an anti-Champion and weakening powerhouse.
  • This weapon is now intrinsically anti-barrier.
  • The Heavy Metal and Vexadecimal perks have had their locations and behavior swapped.
    • Heavy Metal now causes every 4th bullet to make targets volatile.
    • Vexadecimal now causes every 16th bullet to also weaken targets.
The flexibility offered by The Fundamentals (on the Borealis, Hard Light, and Dead Messenger Exotic weapons) is useful, but most of the time there's no need to switch damage types rapidly, so it's irritating having the current damage type clear on death.
  • The Fundamentals now maintains its state across death or respawn. ##Perks
Alacrity working in solo activities is intended, but it's too strong a perk to have 100% uptime in PvP.
  • Will no longer work in Rumble.
Archer's Gambit has been brought down a bit so it can be used on Legendary weapons.
  • Reduced draw time buff from 66% to 60%.
  • Reduced buff duration from 8 to 4 seconds (but it can now stack up to 8 seconds).
Grave Robber needed some extra love.
  • Will now activate on dealing damage with a powered melee, in addition to standard melee kills.
Chain Reaction is too strong on Special ammo weapons in its current form, so we've branched it between Heavy and Special ammo weapons and will be shipping it on new Special weapons in The Final Shape.
  • Special: About 15% smaller AoE size and 20% less damage.
  • Heavy: Same AoE as before and 30% more damage.
Eddy Current was a little too slow to activate and didn't provide a strong enough bonus, particularly when amplified.
  • Now takes 1.5 seconds of sprinting to activate instead of 3 seconds.
  • Also provides a bonus to handling and a 5% scalar on each stat at base.
  • Being amplified will immediately activate the perk at its maximum effectiveness.
Underdog was shelved a long time ago, but we wanted to swap it out for a more viable perk on weapons that still had it.
  • Instances of Underdog have been replaced with Pulse Monitor.
Osmosis and Permeability have some interesting build-crafting potential, but when all they do is change damage type, they don't have enough general utility. It's also irritating when the perk effect falls off when you don't actually put your weapon away.
  • These no longer drop off when pulling out a Ghost or similar actions.
  • Now partially refill the weapon's magazine on activation.
The previous Chill Clip change hurt slow rate of fire weapons disproportionately and left Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifles as the clear best option, so we've branched the functionality to account for this.
  • Adjust the number of slow stacks applied based on properties of the weapon.
    • In this case, Rapid-Fire Fusions like Riptide will still require 3 shots to freeze, but slower firing Fusions only require 2.
  • All other archetypes have been un-nerfed and only require 2 shots to freeze.
High Ground's functionality wasn't delivering on the concept strongly enough, so we've granted it better baseline functionality while retaining the fantasy.
  • Reworked to provide a stacking damage bonus when getting kills in any context (like Rampage) or instantly granting the maximum amount of stacks when damaging an enemy from the high ground.
  • PvE max bonus increased to a 25% damage bonus, and PvP max increased to 15%.
The Killing Tally perk on the original 21% Delirium Machine Gun has been updated to match the version found on random-rolled weapons.
Perks that currently match your equipped subclass have been changed as follows:
  • Osmosis and Tessellation now match the damage type of your equipped grenade.
  • Permeability and Elemental Capacitor now match the damage type of your equipped Super.
Deconstruct had a variety of issues that cropped up when it started to appear on AoE weapons. It's been updated to address bugs and prevent exploiting ammo generation:
  • Now refills from reserves instead of from thin air and should trigger more reliably across weapon types. ##The Future
Now that we’re largely happy with weapon damage in PvP, we’re going to move the PvP-specific tuning out of the game modes and into base weapon tuning in the future. This will give us the ability to fine-tune damage per weapon subfamily, e.g., on precision Hand Cannons instead of all Hand Cannons.
We also have some big systems changes we’re working on for a future release, including redesigns of the PvP and PvE ammo economies, introducing more player choice into weapon mods and more new weapon types.
And that's all we had for today. We hope these changes will help you better understand how your arsenal will fare once The Final Shape arrives on June 4 and that you can better prepare your loadouts for the new raid. Os explico: hoy me ha parado una pareja de la Policía Local acusándome de ir con el móvil en la mano mientras conducía. Esto es absolutamente falso; antes de arrancar, el móvil estaba en su soporte en el salpicadero y no lo he tocado en ningún momento desde que he salido del parking en que estaba hasta que me han parado (que habrán sido dos minutos máximo).
A pesar de decirle al policía, lo más educadamente posible, que debía haber visto mal, no ha servido de nada; de hecho no me ha dejado ni hablar. Intenté decirle que puede que me haya visto con la mano cerca del oído porque llevo audífonos y me acababan de cambiar las gomas (de hecho venía del centro de audición) y se me estaba saliendo uno de ellos. Pero no me ha dejado hablar, me ha cortado diciéndome que le daba igual, que está prohibido conducir con cosas en las manos (que no llevaba ninguna).
En fin, que €200 y 6 puntos por algo que no he hecho. Pero claro, no tengo forma de probar que no llevaba el móvil en la mano (igual que él tampoco tiene forma de probar que lo llevaba) y, al final, es su palabra contra la mía. Porque estoy intentando encontrar posibles cámaras de CCTV en el trayecto que he hecho pero no hay ninguna hasta donde yo sé (que ojalá la hubiera).
Mi pregunta es, ¿merece la pena recurrir? Porque tengo entendido que en estos casos en que no hay pruebas objetivas siempre gana el policía. Pero es que me frustra muchísimo perder 6 puntos después de 25 años conduciendo sin más que un par de multas de aparcamiento y, especialmente, cuando es mentira de lo que me acusan...

La semana pasada ne diagnosticaron hipotiroidismo, me han puesto 25mg de levotiroxina en días alternos. Hace unos meses empecé a estar cansada y a notar que no bajaba de peso.
Me preocupa el tema del peso. Dicen que si la dosis está ajustada correctamente no debería ni haber síntomas ni problemas para adelgazar, pero veo mucha gente que no lo puede llegar a controlar. No sé si a menos producción de hormonas, más síntomas, o no funciona así, porque ahora tengo la hormona elevada poco pero irá en aumento.
Estoy intentando llevar una alimentación equilibrada, no consumir ultraprocesados, azúcares añadidos y harinas refinadas.
Me podéis contar vuestra experiencia, consejos, cualquier cosa😅

Tengo 1 mes 7 dias desempleado, de una empresa textil en la que me sentia bien, comodo, el mejor entorno laboral, esos lugares en lo que dices "no esta mal puede ser peor" y en pequeña parte disfrutaba lo que hacia, pero un dia anuciaron problemas economicos y fui el primero en ser despedido, llegue a un acuerdo para irme bien y me dieron aprox 2 meses de sueldo, me mantuve optimista tenia 18 y hace unos dias cumpli 19 años, joven con ganas de laburar, a lo que sea le entro y dispuesto a aprender lo que sea necesario. Se me ha hecho un dolor de cabeza conseguir laburo, he pasado por lugares cerca de mi zona, panaderias, bares, lugares de comida, comercio en general dejando mi cv, y no he tenido la primera entrevista aun y ni hablar de la cantidad de vacantes a las que he aplicado por paginas como linkedin, computrabajo y cualquier otra, y no me han llamado absolutamente de nada, me sentido muy mal me he mantenido optimista, pero cada que salgo a buscar o envio y me quedo esperando algo que no llega nunca, estoy todo el dia actualizando mi gmail a ver si llega algun correo, algun mensaje o llamada pero nada en todo este tiempo, he sido sincero y lo que no se estoy dispuesto a aprender, a mi edad no se que experiencias quieren que tenga para que me tomen en cuenta. Hoy desperte con mucha ansiedad, y ver como la poca plata que tengo se me esta yendo me hace tener pensamientos extremos, es dificil tambien porque soy extranjero, llegue en septiembre 2023, 18 años, a veces siento que no valgo nada y que se viene todo encima. Hola, comence a trabajar como desarrollador de software para una empresa en Febrero, el contrato se acordo que yo pasaria las facturas y ellos me las pagarian a mas tardar 30 dias despues de remitirlas, la factura de Febrero la cobre sin problemas, pero a finales de Abril decidimos cancelar el contrato por mutuo acuerdo pero no han pagado la factura de Marzo ni la de Abril, la de Abril es normal porque aun esta en el periodo, pero la Marzo ya tiene 10 dias de pasada la fecha, escribo mensajes desde la semana pasada y al principio me decian que tenian un problema con el pago pero ahora me ignoran los mensajes, las dos facturas sumarian 5600€.
Tengo el contrato incial, la finalizacion y copia de las facturas que le he enviado.

Hace un tiempo venia manejando por una calle bastante transitada en Chihuahua, en ese momento habíamos tenido que cambiarle los rines al carro y nos había dicho el mecánico que tuvo que poner una pieza demás para que pudiese caber la llanta en el carro, entonces yo tuve que dar una vuelta un poco cerrada y se soltó una de las piezas por que no estaba bien ajustada, tuve que detener el carro en la calle por que si seguía a tratar de mover el coche corría el riesgo de que se saliera una llanta, pasa que estuvimos esperando a el seguro para que revisara el incidente y pudiesemos pedir una grúa, y en lo que estaba detenido esperando llego un policia vial y se paro detrás de nosotros, yo pensé que se había detenido para ayudar a desviar el trafico por que en ese momento solo tenia las intermitentes y el triangulo que viene con el carro pero estaba equivocado, me pregunto mi situación y yo le expliqué lo que había sucedido, el oficial en un principio se puso a insinuar que yo venía ebrio cuando yo no había tomado ni una sola gota de alcohol por que quería una mordida, luego comenzó a decir que yo estaba mintiendo y que no había sucedido eso por que era imposible que se soltara, se notaba que no tenía ni idea de lo que estaba hablando ya que luego nos comento el mecánico de la grúa que era un accidente común que sucede con ese tipo de piezas, no entendía por que estaba intentando hacer gaslight con lo de la pieza hasta que luego empezó a decir que yo había dado un banquetazo y que por eso se había salido la pieza y que si se daño la banqueta iba a tener que pagar, yo obviamente sabía lo que sucedió así que se lo negué, pero el trataba de intimidarme para que me pusiera nervioso diciendo que me iba a hacer un test de alcohol y diciendo que si la banqueta tenia cualquier daño era suficiente prueba para que yo tuviese que pagar por que de ahuevo quería su mordida el pendejo, yo estaba seguro de lo que le había sucedido así que le dije que revisara la banqueta y me hiciera una prueba si quería, su ultimo intento de intimidación fue fingir que había una camára en la calle en la que di la vuelta y que le iba a pedir a su compañero que le mandara el video para ver si me ponía nervioso, yo para ese momento ya sabía que era lo que estaba tratando de hacer así que otra vez me dio igual, luego de eso hizo como que según el inspeccionaba la banqueta pero en realidad quería escabullirse sin que me diera cuenta, al final se fue sin decir ni una sola palabra. El mecánico confirmo luego que había sido el accidente por que no se había ajustado bien la pieza. Que enojo da que en lugar de estar buscando como ayudar un policía que debería de ser una figura de autoridad este como rata muerta de hambre buscando mordidas de 100 pesos por que les pagan una miseria, sin integridad ni respeto por su posición.

Ese fue el rompehielos, y así habremos platicado toda la noche convirtiéndose en toda una semana. Quiero decir que no tuve una química tan maravillosa con ninguna otra mujer como ella.
Viendo ahora los mensajes me di cuenta que yo estaba enloquecido por ella y mis hormonas estaban en descontrol. Yo no tengo mucha cancha en la vida amorosa.
Ella también parecía enganchada en la conversación y de esta manera, se dio lugar a una primera cita. La primera se vuelve una segunda, tercera y hasta una cuarta. Cabe aclarar que hay una larga distancia desde donde ella vive y donde yo vivo. Una hora de distancia. Ella venia casi siempre y yo fui una vez para allá.
En persona es un sueño hecho realidad: una mujer bondadosa, cariñosa, tierna y extraordinaria en cuanto al afecto físico. Tiene un apego estable y es muy segura de las cosas que dice. Siento una enorme paz estando con ella y es lo mejor que me paso en mis pocos años de vida.
Hasta el momento, me encanta la persona que es. Sus creencias parecen coincidir con las mías y sus valores de la vida también. Pero uno nunca sabe, solo va un mes que la conozco y dicen que en la vida uno nunca llega a conocer a alguien en su totalidad.
Luego de transcurrir dos días de la primera cita, me comenta que es madre soltera. El ex la engaño y nunca se quiso casar con ella. Entonces se va rotando en el custodio de la princesa. Pero dice que todo termino bien y es un buen padre. Ella ya tiene la vida casi hecha: una casa propia y un trabajo estable.
Le comente esto a mis viejos y obviamente ellos bien conservadores, me demuestran que están en contra de la relación. Me parte el alma no tener sus aprobaciones.
Le dije a ella de tomarnos un tiempo para que pueda ordenar mis pensamientos. Ella respeto mi decisión aunque le costo entender el porqué. Nos mandamos unos mensajes nada mas. Pero con menos frecuencia que antes.
Sigo reordenando mis ideas y miento si digo que estoy bien sin hablarle. Mi apego ansioso hace que mis emociones me jueguen en contra. Me fijo sus redes y las personas que sigue constantemente. Pero siento que es porque no la conozco del todo.
Me muero por verla y mis pensamientos viajan a mil por hora. Gracias a Dios, tengo gente en mi alrededor que me ayuda mucho a procesar las cosas. El tiempo que me tome con ella fue para prometerle estabilidad y seguridad a la hora de volver.

He also posesses a revolver that he himself developed. Rather than firing bullets, however, it can fire any fluid with the force and power greater than that of a cannon. Inherent Traits: As a clownfish fishman, Rango is naturally immune to the poisons of Anemone. He is also passively resistant to most other types of poisons, primarily those found in sea life. This resistance has allowed him to develop a symbiotic relationship with an Anemone he named "Noodle" (because it kinda looks like a bowl of ramen)
"Noodle": Noodle is a sentient anemone that sticks to Rango. While it cannot speak, it evidently communicates to Rango in some way. The Anemone seems to have a serious personality, being the voice of reason to Rango's erratic behavior, and actively chastising him when he "Misbehaves".
Interestingly, however, Noodles connection to Rango grants it a level of control over Rango's body. At times, especially when he is unconscious, Noodle will take over and take rango to safety. This symbiosis has proved especially useful when fleeing under water, as noodle will Drag rango away through a sea bed in a pinch.
Otherwise, Noodle almost exists as an extension of Rango, its tendrils being used as extra arms most of the time. Noodle emits an "Electrotoxin", which is to say that contact with the tendrils will both electricute and Paralyse a living target

Devil Fruit: The Up Up fruit
Rango has eaten the Up Up fruit, a devil fruit that allows him to enhance anything he wants. This is done by creating cyan Arrow-shaped beams. When an object is struck, an arrow pointing upward will be embedded on their body. The "Strength" of the upgrade is directly related to the length of the arrow.
Rango uses this fruit to enhance weaponry, as well as turn normally harmless items into weaponry. For example, he may Upgrade the sharpness and hardness of a toy sword, making it comparable to a high grade blade. Or he may upgrade an innocuous object like a playing card or Billiard Ball to turn them into deadly projectiles
A weakness of this ability is that an individual can only be upgraded once at a time. Further upgrades will require removing the original and replacing it. However, the scope and scale of an upgrade can encompass multiple aspects, so long as they have some relation. Further, Rango must choose what he upgrades. If he is not aware of something, he cannot upgrade it. This requires him to have a passing knowledge of whatever he is enhancing.
Releasing an upgrade will return the target to their original state
Techniques
All applications of upgrade involve Rango targeting and enhancing a certain aspect of a person, it Even the person as a whole.
Monster-Grade - A technique that is largely used on animals, although it can also be utilized on Zoan-type or humanoid beings. This enhancement amplifies the animalistic properties of a target, turning them into "Yuuma" (jp) or "Cryptids" (en)
Servant-Grade - This is technically not a separate upgrade, but instead an Inherent property of the technique. Any target upgraded by Rango can have their body or mind hijacked by him, forcing them into fulfilling his commands.
Rango has utilized this ability to enslave criminals on his island, forcing them into becoming servants as part of a luxury resort.
As a side effect of this control, individuals will have glowing purple eyes.
Devil-Grade - Rango enhances the devil fruit of a target. This will either enhance the element of a user in the case of element-type fruits, or provide an additional property for other such fruits. (Zoan upgrades will apply the Monster-Grade effect)
Health-Grade - An ability that is technically split into two. The first is Recovery Enhancement. This ability will grant an individual a passive ability to heal and mend wounds and injuries. This is rather slow, however, and will generally take a few hours to a day to complete depending on the injury. The second is Full Recovery, In which Rango will "Upgrade" a target to full health, regardless of injury or cause. However, because this change is a result of the upgrade, and not a side bonus as the other, once this upgrade is released, a target will return to their injured state. Generally speaking, this is only best in an emergency.
Stolen-Grade - An offshoot of "Servant-Grade", Rango uses his upgrade ability to hijack an object or weapon that traditionally cannot be used by individuals other than the original user.
Presently, Rango has used this ability to "Steal" a mirror owned by Brulee, granting him free access to her mirror dimension without her knowledge.
Castle-Grade - An upgrade that enhances the natural defense of a target
Hyper-Grade - An Upgrade that enhances the natural speed of a target
Ballistic-Grade - By upgrading a projectile attack, Rango can enhance it's power and force of impact. Largely speaking, he uses this mostly on bullets to grant the power of a cannon
Split-Grade - A technique that allows Rango to bypass the original limitation of his fruit. He will split the upgrade into two branches of a whole, allowing him to upgrade multiple related aspects, but at half the original efficacy. This results in the arrow on a target branching into two separate arrows.
Downgrade - an inversion of his ability done by upgrading his own fruit. This allows Rango to instead reduce or weaken aspects of a target, such as their durability or speed.
Equipment
Rango has a series of equipment that he has enhanced to have useful properties
Mirror Portal: A mirror stolen from Brulee. This allows Rango to acess his own section of the Mirror dimension. However, he can only enter an exit this section through this mirror, and does not have acess to any other nearby mirrors.
Infinite Sachel: A sachel enhanced to have storage space equivalent to that of a large crate. Rango uses this sachel to store his armory of weapons.
Trace-A-Rang: A boomerang that is enhanced to lock onto a target and strike them, and then afterward always return to the user. This makes for the perfect projectile weapon, although it isnt very strong damage-wise.
Boost Rations: Small packages of rations that are enhanced to provide increased vitality and health when eaten.
Perfect Gauntlet: A pair of gauntlets enhanced with the strongest defense enhancements possible. This makes these gauntlets nearly unbreakable.

Hola, desde hace un tiempo vengo barriendo en el hall (creo que así escribe-) y el jardín delantero de mi casa y hace un par de dias vengo notando que aparecen fósforos en el piso y el pasto, algunos medio quemados, otros totalmente consumidos y algunos ni siquiera están prendidos. (Tenemos un kiosko, pero ninguno de nuestros clientes fuma) mis hermanos no fuman, pero en todo caso de que alguien fume en mi casa , porque dejaria algunos sin encender??
Lo pensé por un tiempo y ahora les quería preguntar que podría ser, (capaz y es una forma de marcar la casa para robar o ns¿) a alguno de ustedes le paso? Que puedo hacer??

2024.05.15 18:14 goblyn79 Anyone else that just isn't a fan of Christopher Pike? 35+ year old spoilers for "Witch" below

Being the right age to be the target audience for Fear Street, Point Horror and Christopher Pike's never ending series of YA horror books I read my fair share of Pike's books back in the day and at the time I remember really not enjoying Pike as much as Stine or the other Point Horror authors like Caroline B. Cooney and Diane Hoh. I remember having conversations with my fellow YA horror readers at the time and I always had the impression that Pike was a little more serious and adult than some of the other authors and I just didn't "get" him. And I've always thought this in the back of my mind that maybe as a kid I just wasn't quite ready for Pike.
Flash forward to maybe 10 years ago, I got lucky in a thrift store and found a good pile of Point Horror and Fear Street books and along with a few Pike books, I purchased as many as I could afford at the time and included "Witch" by Pike as I have, in subsequent years, heard it was one of his better books.
Well I finally got around to reading "Witch" and whewwww now I remember why I'm not a fan of Pike.
The main character of the book, Julia, has some psychic powers, but is additionally absolutely drop dead gorgeous (to the point that everyone either falls in love with her immediately or thinks she's stuck up), with friends that just don't question her at all, even when she's on a revenge rampage. Not only is Julia your run of the mill Mary Sue cliche, but her dead mother is ALSO a Mary Sue, another beautiful hippie witch that everyone loved and apparently spoke entirely in prophetic super pithy things to say, which we get constantly treated to via various character's flashbacks, and implied psychic messages from beyond the grave. Combine this with a plot entirely based around very unlikely circumstances and it just made for such a long slog to get through.
I seem to recall this is a typical problem for Pike, his female characters are all so perfect and beautiful and completely without any sort of realistic motivations that it makes it impossible for me to care enough to keep on reading. I know I'm criticizing cheap 30 year old YA books here that were made to make money and not necessarily have any redeeming literary value, but at the same time Fear Street, similarly written en mass to make lots of money have plenty of really good entries that still hold up today (the First Evil series, 99 Fear Street, the Silent Night trilogy and other various entries are all stand outs for me), so its not just that I've outgrown 90s YA fiction. And yet, so many people here and in some of the vintage horror collector groups on facebook seem to unironically have great esteem for Pike.
So anyone out there like me who has tried and just can't get into him? Why do you think that is? I personally just don't think he's that great of a writer (again, two Mary Sues in a single book is just absurd to me) but since so many people really seem to genuinely enjoy him, I'm not sure what it is that I'm missing!

Hola, perdón si este post no va acá pero literalmente no se donde más conseguir ayuda.
Estaba trabajando para una empresa en Canadá de forma remota desde el norte (zona franca) y me enviaron un computador para trabajar, ahora renuncie y necesito enviar el computador de vuelta, desde allá hicieron las gestiones con un servicio de envío en chile pero me piden un documento de aduanas, supuestamente me tenían que entregar un documento cuando me llegó el computador pero ni recuerdo si lo recibí o no (fue hace tiempo) y la única forma de enviar el computador de regreso es pagando un impuesto de aduanas de nuevo (WTF?) para sacarlo de zona franca.
Esto ni siquiera considera el precio de envío sino que es meramente algo de impuesto aduanero por zona franca cuando este es un computador enviado desde allá. Que puedo hacer?

Hola les gars, ça fait hyper longtemps que je voulais raconter mon thread horreur horrible que j’ai vécu, donc let’s go : (j’avais fais des dessins de mon appartement et de mon bâtiment mais je peux pas poster de dessins :/ )
Contexte : je m’appelle Lilo, on est en janvier 2021 à Nice, j’habite chez mes grands-parents (je précise qu’ils sont présents 1mois puis ils partent dans leurs autres maisons pendant 1,5mois ect…), j’ai 17 ans(ah et je suis une fille mdrr vu que mon prénom est pas si évident que ça). Les deux semaines avants le “drame”, étaient géniales j’ai passé mon temps avec mes copains chez moi après le nouvel an, vraiment un moment très chouette. À la fin de c’est deux semaines, tous le monde est parti sauf un pote avec qui je suis partie faire les courses, à la fin on se dit au revoir et on se verra d’ici 2-3jours au lycée, il est environ 17:50-18h. Je rentre dans ma résidence seule et me dirige vers mon bâtiment, mais j’ai vraiment une sensation désagréable dans le ventre et même si je me dis qu’il y a rien à craindre je reste vigilante parce je sais à quel point l’intuition est fiable. En arrivant j’ai une sorte de toc : j’écoute toujours la porte de l’entrée claquer derrière moi je sais pas pourquoi. Donc ce jour là j’écoute la porte est elle se ferme très lentement comme si quelqu’un était entré et avait retardé la fermeture. Je me dis que c’est rien et je continue jusque ma porte.
Contexte : j’habite au rez-de-chaussée et c’est dans un cul de sac qui donne chez moi, chez ma voisine et à la cave, mais personne prend cette porte puisqu’il y a un ascenseur. Pour prendre les escaliers et l’ascenseur il n’y a absolument pas besoin de passer par chez moi qui est je le rappelle, un cul de sac.
En arrivant à ma porte je me sens vraiment pas bien, et j’arrête pas de penser à la porte pourtant ça doit faire que 10seconde que j’ai franchit la porte d’entrée de mon bâtiment. J’ouvre ma porte et je sais pas pourquoi je dis : “coucou papa je suis rentrée”, alors que je vis seul à 8h de route de chez mon père. Je referme vite la porte derrière moi et j’aperçois quelqu’un arriver dans le cul de sac (j’ai pas fait plus attention que ça à sa tenue à ce moment là), je ferme la porte à clé malgré que ce soit une porte blindée ce que je fait jamais et je pars poser les courses dans ma cuisine. À ce moment là je suis stressée et dans l’incompréhension, je comprends pas pourquoi j’ai dis bonjour à mon père alors qu’il est pas là et je sais pas pourquoi mais je retourne à ma porte pour regarder dans l’œil de celle-ci et là j’ai vu un truc vraiment pas normal : un mec avec un pantalon sombre, une casquette, des basket noir et un sweet simple bordeaux-rouge vin et ce qui me semble être un sac à dos, à un mètre de ma porte, il est immobile et je discerne mal son visage. Puis je sais pas vraiment combien de temps après, mais ça m’a paru une éternité, il s’avance près de ma porte et souffle très fort d’un ton qui ne signifie rien du tout de bon et part. A ce moment là je réalise pas vraiment et je me dit que c’était peut-être un mec qui voulait des renseignements et que c’est la weed que j’ai fumé ces deux semaines qui m’a fait être parano. Il est environ 18:10-15. Bref je me détend un peu je me dis que j’abuse et je repars finir de ranger mes courses et me faire des pâtes (c’est excellent les pâtes). Bref tout se passe bien j’ai mis les pâtes dans l’eau… je pense 3-4minutes plus tard (il doit être 18:30-35), j’entends des bruits de “toquement” sur une des portes vitrées de ma maison.
Contexte : j’habite en rez-de-chaussée, mon entrée donne sur un couloir qui juste en face mene à la chambre de mes grand parents, au fond à gauche à ma chambre, et à droite à ma cuisine collé à la chambre de mes g-p, au salon et à la salle de bain. Toutes les pièces ont une porte vitrée sauf la salle de bain et les toilettes. Mon jardin forme un L qui part de mon salon à ma chambre. Devant ma chambre se trouve une petite terrasse renfoncée. Le jardin est entourée de grillage, de feuillages et d’arbustes.
Je pense que les bruits viennent donc de la porte vitrée de la chambre de mes grands parents. À cet époque il fait nuit très tôt surtout à Nice donc il faisait déjà nuit. Je sais à ce moment que les seuls stores électriques fermés sont ceux de leur chambre, de la cuisine et une des trois portes vitrées du salon. Je panique un peu puis rationalise très vite en me disant que c’est le chat des voisins (me demander pas pourquoi mais c’est ce que j’ai pensé sur le coup). Un peu après je les ré entends, mais cette fois sur la vitre de la cuisine. En panique j’attrape un ustensile et je pars m’enfermer dans la salle de bain. J’attends très longtemps et j’envoie des messages à des potes qui me disent de les tenir au courant et d’appeler les keufs si jamais ça se reproduit. Je sais pas trop mais je pense que je suis sorti après 20-30min après. En sortant ma maison sent le brûle et est enfumée. Rien de grave c’est vraiment les pâtes qui ont carbonisées. Bah là concrètement j’oublie l’histoire des toc toc toc et je pars en mission pour aérer l’appart : le levé vite fait un store et je dois la casserole dehors. À ce moment là j’entends des toc toc toc. Je ferme tout et cette fois ci je rationalise pas du tout, je me vois dans un thread horreur ou dans une vidéo de Victoria Charlton. Je prends un couteau et je prends pour mission d’aller faire un check de tout l’appartement. Je vais dans le salon j’allume tout, je verrouille au max toutes les portes et je baisse les stores, je fais pareil dans la chambre de mes grands-parents tout en mettant des coup de couteau “au cas où” dans leur penderie, et enfin je finis par ma chambre où je fais pareil. J’avais trop peur d’aller dans ma chambre parce que je verrouille toujours qu’une seule porte parce que l’autre bug un peu. Bref tout e passe bien et je ferme les stores. Avec les stores fermés et la lumières les traces de la vitre ressortent j’ai il y avais une TRACE DE MAIN sur une des vitres, comme si quelqu’un avait essayé de l’ouvrir. Je comprends de sa craint vraiment et je suis en mode panique je raconte tout à mon pote qui veut que j’appelle les flics les rien y fait j’ai aucune envie de les appeler avec de la beuh chez moi. (Il est environ 19:20-30). À ce moment là je trouve rien d’autre à faire que de me refaire à manger tout en gardant le couteau proche de moi et en étant discrète. Et quand je commence à faire la cuisine je recommence à entendre des toc toc toc à une porte vitrée, pis à une autre et une autre… JE ME CHIE DESSUS. À ce moment là je pense que c’est mon dernier jour sur terre et jsp on est un peu bête dans c’est moments là, et je décide d’écrire mon testament. Bref j’ai l’impression que des heures s’écoulent. Les bruits continuent mais se mélange avec des sortes de grattements, le tout de manière pas du tout structuré ni régulière. Il pouvait y en avoir toute les minutes comme, dix minutes plus tard … bref je mange et je me calme dans mon salon parce que je n’arrive pas à me détendre et je ne veux absolument pas dormir. Il doit être 20h quand les bruits s’arrêtent mais je me détends pas le moins du monde. Je tente de penser à autre chose, de grignoter, de regarder des vidéos… mais rien ne marche. Tout est plutôt calme jusque 21:30. À cette heure ci j’avais trop envie de fumer une clope à cause du stresse mais j’ai une règle très stricte je ne fume pas à l’intérieur et encore moins dans une maison qui est à mes grands parents. Je me roule une clope, je prends le couteau et j’appelle une de mes meilleures amies pour ne pas être seule. J’ouvre le store le plus bas possible mais pour que je puisse passer en dessous de maniere à l’aise, et je sors sur devant fumer.
Contexte : comme je l’ai dis mon jardin fait un L. À ce moment là je suis dans le salon et c’est la parti qui forme le bout du L. Sur le moment j’y est pas pensé sur le coup mais la lumière du salon avec les stores entrouverts, projeté mon ombre et de la lumière sur les feuillages en face, qui peuvent être visibles dans le reste du jardin si on regarde dans la bonne direction).
Je parle en chuchotant avec ma pote et on rigole un peu de la situation pour dédramatiser. Brag tout se passe bien j’ai presque finis ma clope quand ma pote me fait remarquer qu’elle a entendue des bruits. Je panique instantanément et d’un coup on entend un toc toc toc sur une vitre proche. Ni une ni deux je jette ma clope, je rentre je verrouille la vitre au max, et je me dirige vers le boutons pour fermer les stores et je vois QUOI ???? Des putains de baskets noires. Comme le mec du début de soirée devant ma porte. Bref je baisse les stores et j’ai passé la nuit dans mon salon salons stresse et les bruits de toc toc étaient rares mais ont stoppé définitivement vers 23h.
J’ai aucune news parce que j’ai pas appelé les flics, et je n’ai jamais revu cet individu. J’ai quand même passer plus de deux semaines avec l’énorme couteau de cuisine dans mon sac de cours tous les jours par peur. Maintenant c’est une réf entre pote, je vais très bien je suis maintenant en étude de cinéma à Toulouse et on espère tous que @squeezie et sa super équipe aimeront ce thread et en parlerons en vidéo. (Si jamais je peux envoyer les dessins de mon appart et de mon bâtiment).
J’ai vécu une autre mésaventure moins hard mais si jamais ça intéresse quelqu’un faite moi signe :)

Bonjour,
Est-ce que vous captez facilement que vous plaisez à un mec, même s'il le cache ? et est-ce que c'est un no go d'envisager une relation amicale dans ce cas ? Inversement, est-ce que vous fuyez un mec qui vous attire si vous savez que ça peut pas aller plus loin que de l'amitié ?
J'ai (H30) presque pas d'amis filles aujourd'hui mais je remarque avec le temps qu'il y a des schémas qui se répètent, et j'ai l'impression de commencer à comprendre. Jusqu'au lycée j'en avais quelques-unes, puis après je suis parti dans des études & métiers très masculins (math) et plus rien depuis. Je croise surtout les copines de mes potes ou les copines de ma copine, mais il y a toujours une certaine distance et du coup en dehors de ma copine actuelle il n'y en a aucune avec qui j'ai un minimum de lien. J'en viens à me demander si c'est pas de ma faute, et si c'est pas parce que j'envoie des signaux inconscients que la fille me plaît et que ça crée une sorte de blocage chez elle.
En effet, mon problème c'est que je vais naturellement/majoritairement vers les personnes qui ont une bonne gueule (chez les mecs aussi d'ailleurs, alors qu'ils m'attirent pas du tout), donc si je m'entends bien avec une fille c'est fort probable que je pourrais être attiré par elle et je me demande à quel point vous le ressentez et que c'est pas ça le fond du problème. Pourtant je suis en couple donc je sais qu'il ne se passera rien.
Ces 6 derniers mois j'ai encore vécu 2 exemples où dans un groupe mixte, je trouve une fille cool parce qu'on a des intérêts communs, sauf qu'elle a l'air d'être ouverte avec tous les mecs du groupe sauf moi. Pareil chez une médecin récemment pendant une rééducation. Elle est un peu + jeune, je la trouve cool, j'ai fait 20 séances et je suis le seul qu'elle continuait de vouvoyer alors qu'elle tape la discut' à tous les autres au bout de plusieurs mois. C'est comme si elle était gênait, des fois elle me tutoie, des fois elle me vouvoie, c'est bizarre car j'ai remarqué qu'elle ne le faisait pas avec les autres. J'ai déjà essayé de détendre l'atmosphère 2-3 fois, je vois que je la fais marrer mais rien à faire elle met une distance. Je la trouve très jolie mais je pense pas lui avoir montré : je la regarde pas spécialement, j'essaie pas à tout pris de créer du contact, je semble pas intimidé, etc...
Ce qui me tue c'est que ça me fait pas ça avec les mecs. Dans ce genre de situation il y a un bon feeling qui passe et ça peut devenir des potes. Et je comprends pas car je suis plutôt lambda, pas moche mais pas incroyable non plus (par exemple je me suis jamais fait aborder frontalement par une fille), introverti mais je vais quand même vers les gens, etc... Donc je pense pas que j'intimide, ni que je sois bizarre. J'en suis venu à me demander si c'est pas que j'inspirais pas la confiance aux filles, mais j'ai plutôt une tête de gentil et on me fait souvent la remarque - un peu bizarre haha - que je suis "doux", donc je pense pas que ce soit ça...

Bueno como dice el titulo, me mato la fuente, mother y cpu por bajadas de tension constantes, si bien no son piezas modernas los reemplazos son mas caros que lo que hay hoy en el mercado, el presupuesto supera los 400mil pesos porque son 4 partes que hay que cambiar por tema de compatibilidad.
El problema esta en que estoy viviendo en un hotel familiar, (pension/conventillo), no soy yo el cliente y no tengo acceso a la boleta.
Hay alguna forma de encontrar el número de cliente para el reclamo?
Si puedo hacer el reclamo, como me pagarian? No cuento con el efectivo ni el credito para hacer el cambio y esperar que me lo reintegren.
Estoy un poco al horno con esto, si bien me prestaron una laptop vieja sin pantalla, es incomodo para el laburo, gracias por la ayuda

Good morning everyone, AcA here and I have a brief (haha) update for you this morning. I felt it was pressing to give everyone an idea of what I am seeing and feeling headed into the next epoch of space weather. What a ride AR3663/3664 were? Long before most of you showed up for the biggest storm in decades, AR3663 was trying to get there, only to be usurped by AR3664 stealing the show. Well AR3664 has now departed, and the sunspot situation is complex, but not as intense as before it left. There are certainly more spots and active regions, but we are missing one with significant complexity and size like AR3664. As a result, we can probably expect a quieter stretch of space...
Something wild just happened. Something that has happened numerous times since I have started this. Call it stupid, tell me I am ate up, call it woo woo, I don't care. I don't call it anything, I juste note its occurence. As I am writing this brief little snippet, X-Ray spikes, and topped out at X2.99. For the last 10 days, when I have seen magnitudes like that, I automatically go to AR3664, or went to I should say, but AR3664 is gone...so what AR is responsible? I can barely see the leading edge of the plage, but it must be respectable.
That is the beauty. Nobody knows. It is not visible and as a result has not received a numeral yet and we have zero real idea of what it looks like. However, we can extract 3 key details from this information.
    • The sun is still very active - X flaring continued overnight with an X3.3 overnight and this most recent X2.99~ from a new contender.
    • Something imposing is hiding behind the limb, and will be rotating into view, and appears that it will be X capable off jump street.
    • The flare topped out at X2.99, but based on the signature, I would not be surprised if the actual flare magnitude is north of that. THis often happens when flares occur so far on the limb they are occulted by the sun. It affects our probes ability to measure it.
    • The radio emission from this flare was over 1000 km/s. Wowzers

Buckle up folks. Now hopefully you have got the drift. There is no certainty here. I think many people are forgetting one key fact about this game. Its comprised of two words. Space & Weather. Space suggests its distant, massive, and on scales far bigger than a human. Weather suggests its an interconnected and dynamic system of more variables than we can track or understand. Our brightest minds, best models, and best computers, cannot tell you with any high degree of certainty whether it will storm 5-7 days from now, maybe not even rain. If that is the bar for terrestrial weather, than what is it for space weather? I give you my take. I give you my analysis. I hope I am right, and alot of you are here because I have had a pretty good track record so far. Do not think for one second that I don't know that track record could fall apart tomorrow. I need you to understand that.
Internally though? That is a different story. My confidence is rising. My perception broadening and my understanding increasing. The beauty of space weather currently, is at some point you have to make a gut call. You read the same data as everyone else, and you make your prediction. The finer brush strokes don't always come out perfect, but the big picture is definitely coherent at this point.

I expect a brief lull in activity affecting earth. Flaring may remain slightly elevated but we cannot escape the fact that AR3664 is out of the mix. The other groups are growing, but they are not growing exceptionally fast. That could change and we will keep close eyes on active regions. Here is a link to all SDO imagery with a few pointers
AIA 131 Teal - best for capturing the flash of flares.
AIA 171 Gold - best for capturing magnetic connections, overall activity, post arcade loops
AIA 211 Purple - best for capturing eruptivity during flares and dimming
AIA 193 Bronze - good for coronal holes esp, but a blend of 171 and 211 showing activity and a glimpse of eruptivity
AIA 304 Red - best for plasma filaments and prominences and eruptivity
The others are great too and have various specialities but the primary ones are above.
If existing active regions do intensify, the forecast will change. We cannot assume they will, although I think they will. The sun is active overall and is able to generate big flares from any location or sunspot group. Even though the existing are not huge gashes like AR3664, AR3664 had humble beginnings too. Even though the spots on the disk are compact, they are fairly intense. I believe the official forecast reflects this. Even with AR3664 off the disk and no longer listed, the M-Class chances are 75% (too low) and the X-Class chances are 40% (I agree). They are seeing the same thing.
OFFICIAL FORECAST -EARTH
WSA-ENLIL shows an atypical setup. There are some small CMEs in the pipe and we are passing through a solar wind enhancement. Not sure where it came from but the parker spiral action is carrying it to and through us. Nothing big out there right now though. CME production remains elevated, including several potential full and partial halo, but currently nothing substantial aimed directly at us. DONKI shows a minor impact in the coming days with max Kp3.
Our star has made its most prolific run yet over the past few weeks. Both generating massive geomagnetic storms on earth and massive flares. Yes, SC23 was more intense in every facet, but SC25 is not over. It has already far exceeded SC24 though and its not close. Get this little fact.
In SC24 there were approximately 48 X-Class flares in the entire cycle which spanned from 2008-2019. In the past 2 weeks have seen more than 25% of that total. In 2 weeks, we got 25% of the way to the entire total of the previous 11 year cycle. And that does not even count the years and months prior of SC25, just the last 2 weeks. I think Mr McIntosh can take a victory lap. He went against the grain, called this a big cycle in direct opposition to NOAA on the basis of his own theory. Bravo! Its not done. We are in solar maximum and that is clear, but what is not clear is just how max this max will be? Nobody can predict the future or what will happen tomorrow on the sun, but I can say that there has NEVER been a better time in all of our recorded civilization to get acquainted with and understand space weather. Not only because of the activity level, the tools available to everyone for free, but because we must be on watch. We are the watchers. If you are here, you know what is up. The rest of the world does not. They do not understand space weather and the think its impossible to do so. Too complicated. Well that is where you come in. Learn it. Understand it. Teach it. Its going to matter in the coming decades, and I would bet everything I own on that. Does that mean CE 2.0? Hell no. Don't immediate jump to extremes, but here is the simple facts. We hit extreme storm levels last weekend from not so extreme storms. It did not harm anything. No widespread damage, just some localized stuff. A transformer blew up in a city about 50 miles from me overnight. Don't see that often. Could it be coincidence it occurred as our earth is trying to process all of the excess energy and current coursing through it? Sure it could be, but I am paying attention. Seismic activity is sharply rising the past few days, with significant attention paid to the south pacific and the caribbean currently. Weather and cloud anomalies all over the place and in strange places. The link to cloud anomalies shows iridiscent clouds usually spotted in polar regions only, yet these are in Vietnam. Many other places too. Are you paying attention?
Coming Article Teaser and Open Letter
I am going to touch on my article that is in the works just a little bit. A teaser if you will because I think it needs to be discussed right now, but when I release it, you will need no less than an hour to read it. It will be comprehensive and supported. I am shooting from the hip here, but I do so from an informed standpoint, the same standpoint I want you to arrive at.
What does ALL of this mean? Should I be scared? Can I jump to conclusions about this? Stop it. One day at at time. We are not scientists here. Most of us have no degrees or letters behind our names. We come armed with logic and the powers of perception, ready to learn. We are in the observation stage. We are looking for signals, correlations, coincidences, anomalies, patterns, etc. We must all determine for ourselves the truth of the matter, with our own eyes, and it starts right here at solarmax.
Now let me get something straight. I am very excited about aurora chances and the study of this field. I have no reason to believe we are in imminent danger. I have no reason to believe that we are in imminent danger tomorrow, or any other time. I recognize that like many forces of nature and the cosmos, that the sun does have the ability to make life pretty hard here, as well as makes all life possible. I give it the respect it deserves, but I do not give it fear or panic. I give it logic and rationality. Logic and rationality tells me that something is up with our planet, and I am not sure its so easily explained by the current narrative. I see man made climate change used far and wide to excuse every development from earthquakes, length of day glitches, changing earths rotation, etc and who am I to argue? I have no degrees as I said. I am just a self taught dude who likes space.
But I would offer them a challenge. Find a way to attribute last weekends massive geomagnetic storm from some relatively low magnitude CMEs to climate change. Go ahead, I will wait. No one would argue that the CMEs from 2003 were stronger, yet the effects were nearly identical and anecdotally more intense. How did our Co2 do that? They will attribute it to starlink satellites or something else man made. ESA swarm mission will tell you that its only decreased 9% on average whatever the hell that means. How can that be, if its been weakening at absolutely positively no less than 5% per century on average with modern estimates much closer to 5% per DECADE. The average rate of loss is no longer reported and is a mystery and possibly a closely guarded secret. As a result, I have no numbers or figures I can give you that I can prove. I will offer you a challenge too though.
Look around. Do you see a pattern? Do you see an acceleration of "things"? Everyone does. Cant deny it. Climate change is a good candidate for it, but we must factor last weekends geomagnetic storm in as anecdotal evidence that something could be changing, quickly. Its not proof. We could not go to a court of law and establish it as fact without refute. Some could say the CMEs combined in an unusual way and it somehow drastically magnified the overall energy content into a single wave. Maybe that is true. I cant refute it with data.
But....we can watch for the next one. We will get another big storm? I dont know. But we will be watching. If we see another storm like last weekend from low end X-Class flares, that could change. Our argument could strengthen, but we must approach it scientifically and logically, even if we are not scientists. Immanuel Velikovsky said that the test of a theory should be the explanation that requires the least in the way of modification, qualifier, and assumption to arrive at a conclusion. Pardon my french, but fuck what the mainstream is telling you. I am not saying they are lying, but am I saying trust your eyes, your instincts. This is IN you. It is in us all.

I am moved and touched by all of the posts, comments, questions, articles, and observations. Someone made an excellent observation overnight about the possible sympathetic nature of the flaring yesterday on direct opposite sides of the sun that I had made myself, but not brought to your attention. I thought maybe the timelapse just made it look sympathetic, but evidently others noticed too. That is what this is all about. Again, I am an armchair analyst. I make no bones about that. I have no qualifications that I could point to that says I know what I am talking about. When I say self taught, I do not just mean this subject. I am self taught in life. I barely graduated high school. I was essentially guaranteed graduation because my high school could not wait to get rid of me. If you are looking for good grammar, punctuation, syntax, etc you will not find it here and ultimately qualified or not, the results and predictions will pan out and prove it or they wont. Either way I will not lie to myself about it. I have been preparing for this for months and I did not know why I was preparing, or why I felt making this sub was so important when so many resources already exist. I am going to ride that wave, but I expect you all to keep me accountable.
I am sorry this was longer than expected. I hope you can get the message and be an adult about it. I am not saying we are in trouble, but I am saying we need to be paying attention. If you want to freak out about it, I cant stop you. Arm yourself with knowledge, and you yourself will know, when or if it is time to freak out. Arm yourself with knowledge and you will not be swayed by twitter idiots and AI written articles which sensatonalize the topic and only give the worst case CE scenario because it sells. I realize now that its not practical to guide you through each event, that we will grow past that point, and as a result, you must teach yourself with the tools here and elsewhere. Not even just for yourself, but for the rest of the world who do not understand space weather and they need someone to trust. Why not you?

The 2024 PEA is preliminary in nature. Current published resources for both of the Cañariaco Norte and Cañariaco Sur deposits (previously reported in News Release dated January 28, 2022) includes Inferred Mineral Resources along with a significant percentage of Measured and Indicated Resources. Inferred Mineral Resources are considered too speculative geologically to have economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as mineral reserves and there is no certainty that the 2024 PEA will be realized. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves have not demonstrated economic viability.
An independent technical report for the 2024 PEA,prepared in accordance with NI 43-101,will be available under the Company's SEDAR+ profile and website on or before June 7, 2024.

NPV Sensitivities
The sensitivity analysis provides a range of outcomes for the Project when the key parameters vary from their base-case values. The NPV estimate is most sensitive to changes of metal prices, resource grade, overall operating costs and capital costs as illustrated in Figure 1 and 2.
The After-tax NPV ranges from US$2,054 billion to US$4,011 billion as the applied Copper price varies from US$3.85/lb Cu to $5.00/lb Cu.

Project Description
The Cañariaco Project is situated within the Province of Ferreñafe, in the Department of Lambayeque, in northwestern Peru, approximately 700 km northwest of Lima, the capital of Peru, and approximately 102 km northeast of the city of Chiclayo. Current access from Chiclayo to the Cañariaco Project is 150 km along a paved road followed by secondary gravel roads.
The project area covers moderate elevations ranging from 2,200 to 3,600 metres ("m") above sea level. The copper deposits are situated on the eastern side of the continental divide and infrastructure will be on the top as well as both western and eastern sides of the divide. The topography varies from steep incised valleys at lower elevations to open grassy highlands at upper elevations. There is sufficient suitable land available within the concessions and close to the mining areas for the process plant, ancillary infrastructure and comingled waste rock and dry stack tailings facility.
The 2024 PEA contemplates that Cañariaco would be mined using conventional open pit mining equipment followed by crushing, SAG/ball mill grinding and flotation recovery of copper, gold and silver to a copper concentrate.
Cañariaco is estimated to have relatively low project capital and operating costs due to proximity to infrastructure and favourable natural setting with key features as follows:
  • Large scale mining and processing operation to process 120,000 tpd/43.8 million tpa with a currently planned 27 year mine life;
  • Conventional drill and blast mining, large scale electric shovels and haul trucks;
  • Conventional crushing, SAG and ball mill grinding followed by flotation recovery of copper, gold and silver to a copper concentrate;
  • Application of best practice process tailings management through comingled waste rock and filtered dry stack tailings storage;
  • Water resources available in project area exceed project requirements;
  • Low Strip Ratio life of mine of 1.33:1;
  • Power supply from existing Northern Peru power grid with connection point only 57 kms from the project; and
  • Project site located only 24 kms from existing paved highway connecting to the Pan American Highway on the west coast.
Low Capital Cost Intensity
Importantly, the Cañariaco project has low capital intensity when compared to several other global copper projects currently in the development stage. Key project attributes that reduce the capital cost include the following:
  • The mineralized material from Cañariaco Norte and Sur deposits are moderately competent with Axb of 53, and moderately soft rock with an average BWI 12.2 kWh/tonne, which enables high throughput utilizing a single comminution line consisting of one primary crusher, one large SAG mill and two ball mills whereas many projects with comparable throughput require two SAG mills and four ball mills;
  • The region receives significant annual rainfall and adequate fresh water is available at site eliminating the need for a desalination plant and pipeline from the coast;
  • Relatively close proximity to the national power grid reduces the capital intensity of power supply infrastructure;
  • Close proximity to an existing major transportation highway reduces access road construction cost and time;
  • Utilization of trucks to transport concentrate along existing highways to the loadout port eliminates the requirement for a concentrate pipeline;
  • The project site is in a sparsely populated area and there is no requirement for community relocation; and
  • Concentrate loadout through an existing port on the west coast of Peru eliminates need to construct a new loadout facility.

Sustainable and Responsible Mining
The project development concept has utilized best practice technologies and will benefit from several existing external factors which will assist in making Cañariaco a very responsible, desirable and sustainable project.
The application of filtered dry stack tailings combined with comingled waste rock storage maximizes the recycling of process water and significantly reduces freshwater requirements. In addition, this technology eliminates the need for wet tailings storage and a major tailing retainment structure and reduces associated seismic risk.
Electrical power in Northern Peru is generated predominantly by hydro which is the preferred power source from ecological and carbon emissions perspectives.
Electric powered overland belt conveyors, rather than haul trucks, will transport most of the mill feed and waste rock from the mining areas to the plant as well as the comingled waste and dry stack tailings facility thereby reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The project is located in a sparsely populated region and at elevations above major agricultural zones.
Capital, Sustaining and Operating Costs
The initial capital, expensed over the first four years of the Project, amounts to $2.2 billion. The sustaining capital over the remainder of LOM amounts to $526 million. Closure costs are estimated at $216 million. The project financial model incorporates a lease strategy for the purchase of the initial mining equipment whereby 20% of the mining fleet cost is capitalized and the remainder is carried as operating cost. Sustaining costs include construction of a crusher at the Sur deposit and related conveyor system to connect with the primary overland conveyor in year 16 prior to the start of mining operations at Sur.

Social &Environmental
Alta Copper has been active in the Cañariaco area since 2004 and since that time has developed and established a wide range of relationships with a corporate policy of respect, shared involvement and value, mutual benefit and transparency. Communications with the local communities and public authorities at all levels continues to ensure that key stakeholders are aware of the Cañariaco project status and plans, and that the Company responds to community concerns and requests.
Mining
The 2024 PEAis based on open pit mining methods with conventional drilling,blasting and material loading with large electric shovels for excavation and haulage to the primary crusher using large capacity haul trucks. Independent and dedicated high-capacity electric conveyor systems will transport plant feed from the primary crusher to the process plant and waste to the comingled waste and dry stack tailings facility.
Over the life of the Cañariaco mine, two separate deposits: Cañariaco Norte ("Norte") and Cañariaco Sur ("Sur") will be mined in separate pits, with the bulk of the plant feed coming from Norte. Mining will commence in the Norte pit which will provide 100% of the process plant feed until year 16 at which point mining operations will commence at Sur. Years 17 through 25 will see mining taking place in both Norte and Sur with variable mining rates while maintaining total annual production of 43.8 million tonnes. From year 26 through end of mine life all mining will take place in Sur.
The Cañariaco open pit mining operations will have a mine life of 27 years, operating 365 days a year with a life of mine strip ratio of 1.33:1 (including pre-stripping). The mine production plan is based on mining a total of 2.72 billion tonnes of material, comprised of 1.176 billion tonnes of plant feed and 1.548 billion tonnes of waste rock over the life of the mine. Mining operations will supply the process plant at 120,000 tonnes per day or 43.8 million tonnes per annum. During the life of mine operation, annual cash-flow will vary due to annual and forecast variations in head grade, strip ratio and metal recoveries.
The major mining equipment fleet will include nine (9) blast hole drills, five (5) 38 m3 electric shovels, two (2) 33 m3 front end loaders and thirty-eight (38) 290 tonne capacity haul trucks. A fleet of smaller loaders and trucks will be utilized for early mine access development and initial pre-stripping. Electric shovel major maintenance and mobile equipment replacement are carried in the mining costs. The moderate altitude of the Project avoids the need for de-rating of mine haul truck drive systems.
Whittle Consulting's Mine Plan Optimization
A key part of the mining plan development for this 2024 PEA included comprehensive mine plan optimization analysis by Whittle. This analysis includes a very detailed assessment of metal grades, metal prices, metal recoveries, mining and processing costs throughout the deposit, and by applying advanced computational analysis, including by the use of Whittle's proprietary Prober-E software, develops an optimized mining plan to maximize the net economic value of the mining operation. A key aspect of this mine planning strategy is that it brings forward cash flow and optimizes the net present value of the deposit. This approach involves advanced pit phasing techniques and takes advantage of variable mining cutoff grades, plant feed stockpiling and blending strategies during the life of the mine plan.
Metallurgy and Processing
The Cañariaco project comprises two copper-gold-silver porphyry deposits where the main copper species are primarily sulphides, predominantly chalcopyrite with lesser amounts of bornite and chalcocite. The Sur deposit also contains molybdenum however the levels did not warrant recovery for this 2024 PEA. Extensive metallurgical testwork programs on samples from Norte have been completed over previous years, providing an extensive metallurgical database for Norte. Resource development at Sur is at a much earlier stage than Norte and accordingly the metallurgical testwork completed for Sur is preliminary. However, the testwork results received to date from Sur are very good and comparable to the results for Norte confirming the amenability of conventional flotation recovery for both Norte and Sur.
The key metallurgical design parameters applied for process design in the 2024 PEA are as follows:
  • Mineralized material competency/hardness: Drop Weight Test Parameter Axb 53 (75th percentile), Bond Ball Mill Work Index 12.2 kWh/tonne (75th percentile), moderately competent and moderately soft
  • Grind size P80 for flotation feed: 200 microns
  • Metallurgical recoveries (life of mine): Copper 88.2 %, Gold 63%, Silver 53%
  • Copper concentrate: 26% Copper, 3.7 g/t Gold, 74 g/t Silver.
Mine haul trucks will transport plant feed material to the crushing station where they will dump the material directly into a large gyratory crusher. From the crusher, plant feed material will be conveyed to a live stockpile ahead of the grinding circuit. Plant feed will be drawn from the stockpile and fed to a single 12.8 m diameter by 8.2 m EGL (Effective Grinding Length) SAG mill. SAG mill discharge will be screened to remove oversize pebbles which will be crushed in pebble crushers and returned to the SAG mill feed. SAG mill screen undersize product will be fed to two parallel 8.5 m diameter by 11.4 m EGL ball mills operating in closed circuit with cyclones to produce floatation feed at 80% minus 200 microns. The floatation circuit will comprise of rougher and cleaner flotation stages, with rougher concentrate regrinding prior to cleaner flotation. Cleaner concentrate will be dewatered using a thickener and pressure filters, then conveyed to the concentrate storage building to await transportation to the port for loadout and shipping to offshore smelters.
Waste and Tailings Handling
The Cañariaco process flowsheet has included Comingled Dry Stack tailing technology for waste rock and tailings placement. This technology is considered as "Best Practice" and is seeing more application within the global mining industry. The technology offers three key benefits:
  • increases process water reclaim and recycling;
  • eliminates the requirement for wet tailings containment dams and eliminates related seismic risk,
  • reduces the size of tailing containment system footprint. Dry stack tailings treatment utilizes pressure filters to dewater process tailings to low moisture content with recovered water recycled to the process. The dry tailings filter cake produced are transported by belt conveyor to the tailings management facility where they can be placed or "stacked" with waste rock as a stable pile within the tailings facility. Combining the dry tailings sands with waste rock within the same pile enhances the overall stability of the pile and eliminates the need for two separate facilities.

The 2024 PEA summarized here for the Cañariaco project was completed by Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC, of Vancouver British Columbia, with mining aspects completed by AGP Mining Consultants Inc.
The findings of the 2024 PEA will be disclosed in a NI 43-101 Technical Report which will be completed and available on SEDAR+ and Alta Copper's website on or before June 7, 2024.

Sobrang bait kasi ng boss ko at madalas kalmadong sermon lang ang ginagawa niya. Now, feeling ko nagiging burden na ako sa mga kasamahan ko. They always try to understand me but I think hindi naman na dapat nila ako intindihin.
To the point na tuwing papasok I feel guilty and anxious. Iniisip ko agad magkakamali ako or magiging pabigat ako sa kanila. Bukod doon, I feel so left behind. Laging ako yung ginaguide. Laging ako yung sinasabihan na mag improve or need pa aralin yung ganito ganyan.
I decided to finally resign, since may job offer naman na rin ako sa ibang company na sa tingin ko mas akma para sa akin.
However, I feel like I'm rushing the decision altho since January ko pa to pinag iisipan. Ang dami nagsasabi na sayang pero mas nananaig sakin yung hiya at guilt. Lalo na yung anxiety ko na baka magkamali lang ako.
Is this enough reason to resign?

Buenos dias solicito un consejo de parte de ustedes ya que al ser programadores tal vez me puedan dar sus opiniones ,(mi post es un poco largo y es necesario dar contexto primero para que puedan entender mejor mi problemática y por ende en llegar a un mejore solución) estudié ing. de software totalmente online en mis circunstancias no tuve otra opción pero siento luego de estudiarla asi (el zoom ni se usaba) que no es lo mismo que haber estudiado presencial, aun así agradezco haber terminado, no en la pandemia sino antes, ya luego ahora si en la pandemia me hice cursos, para actualizarme, de 1 año y logre un trabajo como desarollador. y es ahi donde les quiero decir, ya estuve en ese rollo ya se o al menos ya tengo mas conocimiento de lo que es de que trata la cosa a nivel empresa pero soy una baba para programar me falta mucha logica llegue al trabajo por mi persistencia y aparte la empresa y me encanta desarollar sin embargo en la que estaba se trabajaba horrores de 8 a 7 pm pero habia veces que por lo lento de una vpn que a fuerza teniamos que trabajar con ella salia a las 8 o casi 9 pm ya saben porque tardaba mucho en reflejar cambios (habia veces tardaba de 5 a 8 min por un solo cambio) mas aparte pullear y pushear todo el codigo hecho (eso ya era rapido, eso sí no teniendo que arreglar broncas del git y si es que no estaba ya pisado por otros compañeros), y aparte viajaba mucho el trabajo de oficina repito me encantaba, con todo y la barbaridad que me costó aprender a debugear y a inspeccionar, corregir, harcodeo y hasta testear código incluidos hacer cambios en bd, y mas en producción con los cuidados que implica, fue brutal al principio (es mi primer trabajo formal) pero lo que me hizo dejarlo fue el viajar, o el trabajo de campo(y sin viaticos) me la pasaba viajando y acabando con la cuadrilla incluida la gente de mtto 11 ,12 pm y llegue a estar semanas llegando a mexico a las 2 o 3 am, (y habia dias que sin importar llegar a esas horas al otro dia habia que ir a a la empresa temprano a dar parte o a las labores de oficina) mi pregunta directa es miren vengo del soporte operacion e infraestructura pero me siempre me llamo la atencion la programacion (por eso estudié eso) pero ya vi que no tengo tantas habilidades en ese campo, y matemáticas avanzadas siempre me costó un buen, me tuve que esforzar al doble o triple que otros en la universidad para pasar bien esas materias. (me dió covid y desde ahí tengo secuelas como ciertos problemas visuales y me cuesta un poco mas retener ciertas cosas) entonces ¿mejor que hacer, preferir ser un jr por 5 o hasta mas años o irme por el camino que ya tengo y donde tengo mucho más experiencia que es de operacion y soporte donde hasta puestos de jefatura alcancé, (porque antes de estudiar a eso me dediqué, antes el desarrollo aunque siempre ha existido no era tan popular como ahora y menos despues de la pandemia que explotó en gran medida), aunque ello implique perder lo que tanto trabajo me costó aprender en el arte del código porque ya que estuve en desarrollo y me gusta de mucho de hecho pero se mis limitantes y aunque las podria trabajar eso me llevaria aun mas tiempo,
si llegaste hasta acá, gracias sinceras y cualquier opinion directa y seria también se los agradeceria, ahorita estoy aplicando por occ y linkedin y alguna que otra de hhunter pero si tuvieras algun otro tip tambien seria muy util, saludos
