My AOS package of 485, 864, 793 and G-1145 was delivered to USPS Carol Stream lockbox on 4/3/2024 with a signature proof. Haven’t heard anything back yet. Chatted with Emma twice a day, emailed the lockbox twice so far.
I had a previous case about which USCIS took 7.5 months to send me a receipt notice no matter how and how many times I requested for status check. Why they always picked me to put on delay?!
Anyone else in this situation? I’m usually calm and patient, but just can’t afford waiting for another 7.5 months for a receipt notice……

Hello. I (23F) still getting alimony from my father which is (49M) and he currently wanted to end it with paying - he have foreclosure, so they take his money from his paycheck and send it to me. He cant end it with just signed paper, he will need to take it to the court. So he tried to matipulate me to end it, saying I am not eligible for take it from him anymore and keep saying i need to end it right now so i will not pay fine for taking his money. He ended up plan meeting for me and court clerk to end this. But i ended up going to this meeting and court clerk said me i still can take it so why end it? Im currently in “disability pension” as im european and im getting half of minimal wage paycheck from country. He pay my whole life since i was 5 y.o. Same amout of money (my classmate had 2x bigger alimony and her dad had similiar paycheck, she had 3 sibilings), i have only one other brother which i never met (from father side).. (its like 6,5% of his whole paycheck), my younger brother get 11% of his paycheck.
So as i found out i can still get these money i tell him why he said me to end it? He answered im adult and i dont need it, i can get a job and its my problem and im ungrateful. Also he said my boyfriend (25M) need to take care of me - we live with our families, not together. He sometimes help me with financial things but he still do school, so its not much from him and i didnt expected from him take care of me.
I had my hip joint broken and docs didnt repair it well, so im waiting since i was kid to had it replaced (probably in 2-3 years, im on wait list which was stopped since covid in past), i also have knee problems and back problems. Got migraines and headaches multiple times per month and also i have mental health problems (bpd, adhd, anxiety and social anxiety). I tried in past jobs but i suffered from pain very much, so i just cant handle it.
Since then he cant stop spam me with messages like “when u will end it” or “how its possible to have bf which didnt take care of u, liar”, “ure bad person and ur dissapointed ur grandma”. He dont believe i can take from him the alimony. If he want to stop, he will need to take me to the court - court empoye said me.
Also he beat my mother as i was 1 y.o., cheat on her, was alcoholic and make big debt.. my mother divorced him when i was 2. Since then my mother and grandma from her taked care of me. In court he said he dont want to meet me. I didnt see him until i was 14, when my mother and i was on court bcs doctors fcked up my hip joint operation - so i can get compensation (i didnt get). Since then he sometimes messaged me and was mad when i was not like “i forgive u”, he wasnt ever like father to me. He start more messaging to me since he want to end alimony.
I dont know how to solve this. Im sure i dont want to be in contact with him, but also grandma from his side dont deserve stop contact - but she will defend my father, im unsure if shes good person as she still takling about my other grandma from mother side which died, in bad ways which idont like.
Am i bad person for taking alimony still? It help me very much with my live, as i pay for many medications and rehabilitation to live without pain.

Greetings everyone, a few days ago my Ubisoft account was hacked. I opened a ticket with support but it really didn't help because days keep passing and I don't get any response. I have "change email" emails that for some reason were sent to my Spam folder, but still, for some reason, I can login with my Playstation account. I want to send an email to change my email or something but the linked email is non-existent. What should I do in this situation? I just added the two-step verification with my phone number but I still can't log into the desktop application.

To make a long story short, my boyfriend cheated on me. I’m M21, and he’s M26. We have been together for 10 months. He didn’t have sex with anyone, but for the entirety of our relationship he has been sexting other guys and sending nudes via Snapchat, Facebook messenger, Twitter, and Grindr. I consider that cheating and was almost certain we were on the same page about that until I discovered all of this about a month ago… I won’t go into details about the conversations we have had about it all, though I will point out that part of the reason I was so upset was because I had specifically asked if he was using Grindr or messaging anyone else. I had also asked if he had two snapchat accounts. He always said no. I just had a gut feeling that he was lying, but I ignored it for months. I thought I was crazy and being incredibly insecure. And it also hurts that he knew I thought I was being crazy and insecure, and he continued to let me feel that way. Just watching me. There have been times where he’s compared my questions to the questions his ex (that had sex with other people multiple times) would ask when they were together, and I never appreciated that comparison because I was not and have not been screwing around or even messaging anyone else. I wasn’t projecting a feeling because I was the one in the wrong like his ex was. Anyway, I caught him again a couple of weeks after initially finding out. This time it was a “fake” Grindr account where he was using some random pictures off google. We talked about it again, and came to the conclusion that it’s an insecurity and need for validation type thing considering some really heavy life situations he has gone through. I feel like I have been more than understanding. I tried to hear him out about the why, and I even recognized that he and his ex were both open about messaging other people in this way (though I guess it ended up being taken too far). I have done nothing but validate his feelings while also trying to hold my ground and say that this is something I’m not comfortable with. I was so quick to forgive him, and I even figured that it would happen again, so I wasn’t surprised when I did find out about the catfish Grindr account. He has deleted all of the accounts, including the second snapchat. I have told him that right now, I really just need to feel love and support from him because I have been trying so hard to show that to him, but it has honestly turned into me just chasing after him and I’m exhausted. He’s not a big words guy, and that’s my not problem. I don’t need fancy words, but I feel like he doesn’t even try to make me feel supported right now or build me up. When I bring up the feeling, he counters it with what I can do better in the relationship. And I even validate that. I know I’m not a perfect partner, but I do feel like I am at least trying and it hurts that I don’t feel validated or supported. I feel like I am carrying the weight of the communication. I feel like I have been so patient about everything. He can’t even tell me that he appreciates my effort even though I make sure to tell him every other day that I notice and appreciate his (though his “effort” is an increase of playing mobile games to cope with not messaging people). He can’t even compliment me without me asking how I look or if I did something well. He only actually apologized for the whole situation once and it made me cry because I thought he finally started to understand. Now he’s back to just snapping at me or getting aggravated when I start to feel low again. And honestly, the reason I start to feel low is because he is literally giving me no reassurance or showing me that I shouldn’t feel insecure anymore. I know that there’s only so much that can be said about the situation. I know that it sucks to have one specific situation brought up. But it’s not like it happened years ago and I continue to bring it up. I found out about it a month ago. I don’t even mention it every other day. I just feel lost and detached, and I feel like I’m the only one who is really trying to fix everything. Is there any advice? Sorry for such a long post.

My (23F) best friend (22F) love getting dressed up cute and trying new restaurants. A few weeks ago, we decided to go to this riverfront taco restaurant for dinner, but they don’t allow reservations. It’s first come first serve, so by the time we got there, there was an hour and 45 minute wait. However, next door there is a really popular bar & grill. It’s on the river, half indoor and half outdoor. At 9pm, it turns into more of a club scene. They put away a bunch of the tables, open a ticket booth to sell wristbands, open the outdoor bar (the indoor bar is always open) and bring out a DJ. It’s a really popular spot for young adults my age in my area. My boyfriend and I have a very open and honest relationship, and we have both been cheated on before. We make sure to avoid doing sketchy shit to avoid hurting one another, which is usually very easy for us to do. Knowing that they transfer from a baclub scene at 9, we decided to go because it was only 7pm. i texted my boyfriend to let him know my plans were changing, the wait at the taco place was too long and my best friend really wanted to try the barbecue at the bagrill next door. The only other option in a 15 minute driving distance we’re very high end and pricey, because we were on the waterfront. I knew my boyfriend has prejudice against this place, because it’s the main dating scene in our area. But that’s after 9, before then, there are literal children that dine there with their families, it’s a typical restaurant with a bar in the corner.
Well, I was right, my boyfriend was very unhappy. I told him i’d keep him updated, he had my location, and i had posted a few videos on snapchat afterwards of my friend and I repairing her flat tire, just as extra reassurance that i really WAS with her. We purchased our condo in July of 2023 while the HOA was being managed by one company, but as of March 2024 another one took over. When they took over, they started sending mail addressed to the previous owners of the condo, apparently unaware that it had been bought 7 months earlier. It would be against the law for us to open that mail, so we threw it out. To clarify, the first management company was fully aware of the purchase and had the correct names on our online portal.
Our HOA dues went unpaid for about a month after that, but eventually we got an email asking us to register an online portal for the new company. When I did, it was under the names of the previous owners, not us. We also noticed that the HOA dues were much higher than they were supposed to be, and there was a "special assessment" fee that had no explanation either. When I reached out to the owner of the new management company to ask about this stuff, he immediately got defensive and accused us of failing to notify them about our purchase of the condo. (I guess he didn't realize we'd been living there since before his company took over). As a side note, the new online portal does not feature a CC&R anywhere.
Now we have an online portal with dues that are too high, under someone else's name, and a special assessment fee with no explanation. I don't want to have my arm twisted into paying for something when I don't know what I'm paying for, and I'm certainly not paying for something under someone else's name, lest he come back to us and say that we never paid our dues.
This is our first home and I'm new to all of this. I'm really not sure where to go from here, I would appreciate any advice.

A colleague of mine sent me a Calendar invite and the email contained a word which one of my filters detected and sent the template. Is there a way to exclude calendar invites from my filters?
Another question, is there a way to stop the filter from send the template when a mail is only sent to me and isn't a mass mail? (I usually use those filters to answer mass mails)
