I'm confused with the princess plus packaging. Plan is to book two rooms. Two adults and their kids (6 and 10). 3 adults (me and my parents -seniors). Vancouver glacier bay 7 days there and back.
Wifi is an absolute must. So my plan was to book princess plus package. But only the first two occupants of a room get the plus package?
What about my nieces or myself? Do we pay out of pocket for all the meals/drinks then?
Isn't it smarter to go premiere package? It has unlimited casual dining - does that mean I can go to restaurants and absolutely pig out? Wouldn't I make back the cost easily then if assuming a dish is $15-20?
I don't think it makes sense to pay for a package for my nieces. My mom also doesn't drink nor eat a lot.
My question is what packages would you recommend? Is it a faux pas if I share my deserts or soft drinks with my nieces?

Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is doing well. I have a question about Currency Swaps that is driving me crazy. For the below question, why are we not considering the fixed payments that the client is receiving from the currency swap? I am confused why they would not be considered in the valuation of the of the swap? When I did the calculations I was easily able to get the Swiss Franc paying side but for the Euro paying side I included the coupons and ended up getting a value of around -11,800 for the swap, just shy of the -19,600. I cannot wrap my head around where the fixed euro payments go. Very frustrating lol

Everything's gone up, but this was the first one that made me do a double take. I remember getting these for $5 (on special, they were normally $7 iirc).

So, this might be a dumb question and I’m only afraid to ask my doctor due to past negative experiences with doctors, but… I got off of meds about 2 years ago. I got married and started obsessing over fertility, took a break from work, and decided meds weren’t the most fertility-friendly thing and I’d be okay without them if I wasn’t working.
Fast forward and this baby thing is probably going to take some medical intervention, I went back to an executive level position and realized being unmedicated was creating wayyyy more stress on my body and life than any ill-effects the meds could have on my fertility.
I live in a new town and found a new gp. Told him the situation. He asked my previous dose and in the moment I couldn’t remember (bc adhd). He started me on 10mg adderall xr. It’s been two weeks and it’s… not working. It works ever-so-slightly in the morning right after I take it. And then nothing. Just distraction and armpit sweat. He told me to check back in 30 days from now. Do I have to wait that long? Do you normally get resistance from asking for an increase too soon? I’m nearly positive I used to be on 20 mg. And there doesn’t seem to be much payoff in another 2 weeks of meds that aren’t working. Idk. Is there any value in sticking it out or should I just grow a pair and ask now?

Okay, so I’m at an office that i did my externship at and they paid me for my externship which I know is rare. They paid me $20/hr for that, but now I’m on my own and have my RHS/ICE certifications and have been working there as my full time job.
They told me they’d talk about pay, but are now saying we have to wait till my 90 day mark to raise the pay. I was planning on settling at $22/hr as they are starting a new assistant on that next week, but now I want to ask for $24 as I’ll have my Oregon EFDA soon. They are also supposed to be reimbursing me for the certifications I received, but I haven’t heard anything back on that yet. I absolutely love my job and the hours, but I know I need more pay considering most places start people out at $24/hr in this area.
What would you do/ask for at the 90 day mark?

I realized yt-dlp was usually picking 720 resolution so I added -f "bv+ba/b" to the command so it picks a much higher resolution video. Now it picks a 1080 or 1440p video, but I am having trouble with the audio.
FFMPEG gives an error:

This is honestly a bit of a sad story, as my friend was in a hostile relationship. Let’s call her Gem.
Leading up to my wedding Gem (who was a bridesmaid and my best friend of 20+ years) disappeared because she had a new boyfriend. From day one of her telling me about him he was jealous and accusatory of her talking to other men. They had known each other for years but reconnected and immediately got serious. He immediately made her delete friends that were men and insinuated that she was being slutty before she was with him. I saw this as a red flag right away and tried to tell her that he had no business knowing anything about her past if she didn’t want to tell him specially so soon into a relationship.
Over the months leading up to my wedding there were many more red flags but I tried hard to be ok with it. My fianće and I went to dinner with them and her bf seemed funny. But Gem blew me off a lot. We barely talked and I didn’t have much help with wedding stuff. I did mostly on my own. I tried not to hold this against her. At dinner I had asked if he wanted to come to the reception. But I specified that Gem would be busy and sitting at the head table. He laughed it off and said it was fine. He didn’t need to come.
On the day before my wedding, her bf was nowhere to be found in the morning when he was supposed to be giving her a ride to my city an hour away. She called me crying causing a bunch of stress. She told me that her boyfriend said he was going to call ME the bride and tell me that Gem was being a bitch. My shudders went closed on him in that moment. I told her to just get here when she can. My fiancé and I had errands to run.
She made it to my house after a bunch of drama and guilt tripping from her boyfriend. He was insinuating that she would be hanging out with other men at my wedding. (This is just the tip of the iceberg, this guy was seriously paranoid and abusive). She spent the day bitching about him while I told her she should end it. We had a rehearsal dinner that night and then my mom was spending the night with me and Gem and my daughter at our house, while my fianće and the boys were at his dad’s.
All night Gem was distraught. Leaving the house to go talk to her bf, while I pretended not to care. I was determined to not let her ruin anything but it was hard. My feelings were deeply hurt that she couldn’t just mute him for the night. Especially when he was being so abusive. Then she had the audacity to ask if could come after all. I said NO. My mom was flabbergasted. She left again to go talk to him and that’s when he messaged ME.
He was cruel, rude and disrespectful, saying that I should’ve let him come. I honestly barely remember the details of the message because I was so angry and heartbroken and it was all such insane bullshit. Still I pushed these feelings down so the night wouldn’t be ruined, even though it kind of was. I lost it on him and called him sick in the head and an abuser. He said “you don’t know my side” unbelievable. I blocked him.
Gem came back in and said “what did you say to him?” In an accusatory way and this is honestly the part that haunts me. It was the night before my wedding. This one night and day were supposed to be about me and I had this horrible man reaming me out and my friend not focused on me one bit. Not even a sorry for his actions. I don’t remember what I said and I again, just blocked it out. I was honestly scared for her as she couldn’t see how crazy he was being and seemed to have no idea how awful she was being herself.
The wedding day was wonderful. I put the stuff from the night before in the back of my brain and enjoyed myself. Though I was a bit cold to her throughout the day.
The next day I sent her a huge message telling her how awful it was and that she needed to end it with him. My husband and I went on our honeymoon and didn’t talk to anyone for a week. Gem did not end it with him and it took many more months. She eventually apologized to me. It’s been 10 months and I’m not over it. We’ve been friends for 20+ years and I’m not sure I even like her anymore. I’ve been struggling to even want to talk to her. Not sure where to go from here but it feels good to share this story. I honestly think some people are not capable of being selfless for their friends in their wedding day. Choose your bridesmaids wisely.

His 26th film. Based on stories from the 2000 collection Rope Burns: Stories from the Corner by F.X. Toole, it stars Eastwood, Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. The film follows Margaret "Maggie" Fitzgerald, an underdog amateur boxer who is helped by an underappreciated boxing trainer to achieve her dream of becoming a professional.
Paul Haggis wrote the script on spec, and it took four years to sell it. The film was stuck in development hell for years before it was shot. Several studios rejected the project even when Eastwood signed on as actor and director. Even Warner Bros., Eastwood's longtime home base, would not agree to a $30 million budget. Eastwood persuaded Lakeshore Entertainment's Tom Rosenberg to put up half the budget (as well as handle foreign distribution), with Warner Bros. contributing the rest.
The film had an incredible run in limited release, breaking many records for Eastwood's career. It eventually earned a fantastic $216 million worldwide, becoming his highest grossing film ever. It received critical acclaim, and it was named as one of his greatest films. It won four Oscars: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (for Swank), and Best Supporting Actor (for Freeman). Eastwood became one of the very few directors to make two films to win both Best Picture and Best Director.

36M, White, 6 feet, 240lbs, Vape (no cigarettes), Alcohol intake is 0 to 6 drinks per week, No recreational drugs, Medications: Propranolol 10mg 2x per day, No other medical conditions, Activity level: moderate (gym 3x per week, cycling once a week).
I have been dealing with an undiagnosed tachy-arrythmia for over 10 years. This has been very sporadic (once every couple of years in my 20s, now happening 2-3 times per year). I call it undiagnosed because the arrhythmia lasts about 10 mins tops, and as such I have been unable to get myself to an EKG fast enough to get it captured. However, I know a few things: it's very fast, bounding, and starts and stops extremely suddenly. Usually, I have been either at rest (on the couch) or have just had a rapid positional change like bent over and getting up quickly when it triggers. I have long suspected some kind of SVT but my cardiologist basically won't move ahead with any diagnosis or treatment until it is captured. I have recently gotten an Apple Watch to try and do this the next time it happens.I also get occasional PVCs, usually 1 or 2 per day, if even that, and I find these manageable. This has started 6 months ago.
Today, however, something different happened. I had just started my work day, when I started feeling PVCs frequently, like multiple per minute. After 20 minutes of this and feeling very uncomfortable, I drove myself to the hospital, where they captured several PVCs on EKG. No chest pain, Vital signs normal, no dizziness, no fainting. After about 3 hours of this, they settled down and now Im back to not having any. Doctor at hospital assured me they were benign, no further testing required, and that I shouldn't worry about them. This is based on his review of my bloodwork and EKG done at hospital. He did not recommend any further investigation.
I am having a hard time taking solace in the doctor's words. Today's episode of hours of frequent PVCs was so uncomfortable, came out of nowhere, and in combination with my previous arrhythmia history has made me significantly concerned about my heart health. I'd love any input or advice as to what to do next, as this is starting to affect my confidence in strenuous activity (gym, sex, hiking etc.).
