Mainly coming from my gut, F(20) it tells me this coworker has secretly been into me M(22). For a good 8 months.
Is that possible?
He’s a gentleman. Attempted to fix my tire and ended up giving me a ride home. I didn’t ask but I did complain a little about the stress and he offered his spare. Wasn’t compatible. So he offered a ride home.
Will be sweet at times and soft voiced. Very shy type, I low key or intimidate him in some way, hopefully in a positive light. He treats the others like homegirl/boys, but me, he stutters and breaks eye contact out of nervousness. We can’t even hold a conversation. If so, it’s forced and awkward.
I can tell he loves my eyes, by the way we just stare a little few seconds too long. Or maybe time just feels freezed. Our intense contrasting eye colors strangely intensifies the eye lock. He loves to take a good four seconds to respond before I ask him a question. Prolonged. Eye contact.
Got them just locked sometimes and its enough to leave me questioning, does he want me
Anyways, after my crush manifested I began to observe him a little.
He always needs to say bye to me. (Strange thing he does) compliments people around me when the compliment was obviously meant for me . Ex. said his homeboy smells like vanilla and has a mysterious aura. (I wear heavy vanilla perfume, i’m quiet asf and he isn’t gay just saying. His friend is the complete opposite as the description) BUT WHY if this is meant for me, is it said to his friend ?
Shy around only me. He treats me very different from others girls and easily chat up a storm. Funny enough, he’s a mute for the most part around me. He will talk confidently loud to his friends, but the moment I try to start a convo he cuts it short. And shows obvious signs of nervousness that wasn’t previously shown around the other girls.
The bad side of him is the jealousy i’ve noticed. Anytime we got new male coworkers he keeps me away after them, demanding me around if he noticed me talking to them. And giving me silent treatment after I talked to them.
Another strange thing he did was attempt to insult me if I somehow “hurt his feelings” Ex. I called him his brothers name on accident (they sound the same) and i didn’t apologize because social anxiety and busy w/ work during the shift.
And before he left to say goodbye he intentionally pauses long and turns staring at me stating “I forgot your name for like one second..” after saying my name like 10 times while demanding me the whole shift.
I can’t seem to understand why he got so upset over this? Was he being sarcastic? Why would he get that offended or petty? Does he like me?
Just weird part is we’ve been working together for almost 8 months now. Why no confession, I am just left with this agonizing gut feeling and a longing of just satisfying the tension in some way with an answer.
I know he thinks i’m cute , I think he’s cute. If he likes me he needs to grow pair, or stop with the unnecessary avoidance and random micro flirting. Hoping he’s just shy! But main question, why not make a move?

I’m 28F and I don’t live in NYC, but I pretty much spend most of my weekends there. I’ve recently had a falling out with a close friend and I’m just looking for someone who’s down to just go out to eat, go to a cute bar, and open to clubbing (I usually jump around the ktown area but I’m open to other places). 16 weeks pregnant due November 1
I feel so unphotogenic that I can’t bring myself to take any pregnancy pictures by myself or with my husband.. I know this is a minor issue compared to other people on here but it just makes me sad seeing all the cute “announcement” posts and the cute little things y’all did to tell people you love that you’re pregnant. I’ve had body dysmorphia for almost my entire life and I don’t know how to get over it. I take a picture and I’m disgusted with the way I look. I don’t know what to do. I got married and we did it at the courthouse but I’m going to have a wedding eventually and I don’t know how I’m going to take pictures then either. I feel like an ugly Fck to be honest. I see all my flaws and I literally think everyone looks better than me. I can’t take any good pictures to save my life. I know this is a stupid issue but I really wanted to have memories for my baby girl when she gets older and I don’t know how I’m going to do that if I hate every single picture I take. Sorry to all the moms going through really hard stuff.. just wanted to rant and my husband doesn’t wanna hear it right now.

26 weeks here with my 3rd. I’m a die hard stomach sleeper and no matter what I do I wake up sleeping on my poor son and although I’m not uncomfortable as soon as I’m really up for the day and lay on my side after I grab my phone, he kicks like CRAZY. It’s like he’s finally able to stretch out and move after the whole night. I wish I could curb this somehow but asleep me vs awake me seem to have two different ideas.
THEN, I’m sick atleast once a morning. Everytime when I’m getting my toddler set up for the morning, my daughters getting ready for school I’m usually next to the toilet. I get a horrible headache after for a bit and then comes the friggin hunger pains. It’s so hard to want to eat when I feel like this but I know I need to in order to feel better. I usually end up drinking a light coffee until I can actually handle some food which ends up being lunch and by then I’m so hungry I eat until I have NO room so I’m back in pain. What a cycle 🤣
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the afternoons though, it’s starting to warm up here in Canada and I’ve been getting outside a lot more. This is my first summer pregnancy, I’ve only had January and March babies before so I’m so excited to show off my bump in all the cute summer outfits and be the cute pregnant mom at the waterpark this year.

My whole wedding is a boho, rustic vibe. It’s not casual but it’s certainly not an overly formal affair (garden wedding with lawn games and s’mores). On that theme, my wedding dress is very boho. It’s more cream than white. It has lots of flowers embroidered on it. It doesn’t have a train. It’s not even technically a wedding dress. I bought it from a designer clothing brand I’ve really adored for awhile because I like their ethos about sustainability and their general style.
My FMIL sent me a picture of her dress. It’s a full on gown. First of all, it’s white with a few blue flowers on it. It’s a full length, one shoulder dress with crystals along the one shoulder. It’s pretty but it’s basically more of a gown than my wedding dress. I’ve explained to her a few times that I think she will be overdressed as no one else (including myself) will be at her level of formality. She insists on wearing it and is even trying to pressure my mom to match her formality (my mom picked out a cute midi dress with polka dots). She wants my mom to wear a formal gown as well so she doesn’t stick out.
I’m trying to be very delicate and polite about the situation but it’s just weird! Why do you want to wear a formal white dress to your son’ss wedding??? Especially one that you know is more white and more formal than the actual bride! My fiancé has told his mom more sternly that her dress is not a good idea but she’s stubborn. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any changing her idea and she’ll show up wearing what she wants. It’s still super frustrating though!

I just started dating this girl recently, we’re both 30 years old. We’re still very much in the getting to know each other stage before going steady.
I really like her a lot, and she knows that I do. She tells me often how she likes me a lot too.
Yesterday she posted a selfie on her IG story and I messaged her something I thought she would find cute. She then replied by asking me why I like her so much because she sucks as a human. I thought that was weird to say but I replied by telling her all the things I like about her and asked her why she thinks she’s a bad person and that I don’t she sucks at all.
She replied by telling me that she’s not as loving as she used to be and that the idea of love “icks” her, but that she thinks about me a lot and that she hopes things between us go somewhere.
I replied to her that she must have her reasons for feeling like that and that I hope things go somewhere between us too. She liked the message and that was the end of the convo. We haven’t spoken since
I don’t know why this conversation really strikes me as strange. It’s just making me wonder what her dating intentions are. Am I over thinking this? This conversation has been in my head ever since. I don’t want to ask her anything too weird because we have a weekend trip together coming up don’t want to cause any unnecessary discomfort or awkwardness.
TLDR; Girl I’m dating told me she’s weirded out by the idea of love but that she hopes our relationship gets somewhere. Feels like mixed signals but not sure how to approach a convo about it.

I have a gripe. Please let me know if I’m in the wrong. We’ve been together five years, been married two. I call my husband pet names or give him compliments just about every day in passing. He comes home from work, he receives a “hey handsome”, simple stuff like that. He used to do it for me too, but it stopped a few years ago. I cannot remember the last time he’s called me beautiful or cute. I’ve asked him before if I’m taking it too personally or if he genuinely finds me attractive and he says I’m overthinking it, but nothing changes? He still doesn’t call me anything sweet. I brought it up this morning that it’s making me insecure and he blew up, saying he’s got too much going on at work and I’m being petty and completely flipped things, saying I’m causing him stress… I know it’s little, but is it really that much to ask that my husband tells me I’m beautiful once in a blue moon? How often do you let your spouse know?

Let’s start off with I am a 21 year old full time college student with 2 part time jobs. Clearly I am not getting much help from my father as he makes 32k a year with 5 other children and also not emotionally present. (Not looking for a oh feel bad for me, just keep reading, i am content with my life) While in college I met my current boyfriend he does not work as he does not need to. I figured his parents had a few dollars laying around as it’s not uncommon for parents to pay for their child’s college. Met his parents and they lived in the most BEAUTIFUL house. I brought in a cute little orchid.
2 years into this his parents are gifting me the most beautiful gifts ranging from $400-$800 and I feel bad giving something around $50 together. At that point I still didn’t understand how much they truly made until I was helping my boyfriend filling out the FAFSA, where he recorded 482,000 a year, not including the retirement fund and the business worth 62 million. At that point I just kind of sat there silent staring into space like “there is no way”. after sleeping on it, i realized how much that really is.
Sorry for the yapping I lost my track of thought. However at times I have noticed that his parents have the “oh i feel bad for her” and have offered to buy me a new transmission for my car ($600, which isn’t much. however that’s my rent) or they offered to pay my rent multiple times, there are also other instances such as buying me health insurance or we went into chanel where I saw the most beautiful bag (duh it’s chanel of course I am going to drool over it.) but they were persistent on buying this bag for me. Everytime i have said no. How do I go about not feeling guilty? I’m not sure how I feel when they offer stuff. I appreciate all of their offers but it makes me feel just bad. I am not sure if my feelings are valid. Also for holidays when I show up with a $50 bracelet and they turn around and give me $400 cash and gifts I just feel bad. Thank you, sorry

Was trying on summer clothes and I was so shocked at how good I looked. I have been exercising everyday and eating healthy and my skin, hair and body was glowing. I was trying on summer clothes and not only did I look good but they made me feel good. Normally I’m so insecure of my body but seeing in it a positive form is so so motivating and I just can’t wait to wear all those cute outfits that I’ve been so scared won’t fit me anymore, this summer ☀️

I recently went through a breakup. We had 3 dogs. I let my ex keep all of them because I wanted them to have each other. I’m living alone for the first time and have been feeling sad and unfulfilled not having my dogs with me anymore so I’ve been thinking of getting a new pet to take care of.
I went to a tattoo consultation and my artist had her sugar gliders in a pouch with her at the shop. I got to pet them and fell in love with them. I knew what sugar gliders were but had never seen them in person. So for the last couple weeks I’ve been doing a lot of research trying to decide if they’re a pet that would be fulfilling for me and that I could give them all the care and attention they need. I’ve already found a reliable breeder near me. Even put a bunch of sugar glider related items in my cart on Amazon and such. Made space for a cage in my apartment. I plan to feed them the TPG diet if I get them. And I found some multivitamin and calcium supplements online because I’ve heard they need that. I found an exotic vet nearby. I’m also a big time night person and I work from home. I usually go to bed around 1-5 am lol so when I found out sugar gliders were nocturnal I thought it was cute because we seem to have that in common 😂
I just can’t seem to fully commit to it for some reason. Like the idea seems really exciting but I’m a bit nervous as I’ve never really had an exotic pet other than a snake and lizards and stuff in the past. I think hearing that sugar gliders are high maintenance kind of scares me. Like I don’t wanna feel like a slave to my sugar gliders if they really are that much work 😂 I’m willing to put in work with pets. I just don’t know how it will actually be if I get them. I will say my dogs come over once a week for a sleepover lately. As me and my ex are “co-parenting” the dogs. I do my best to be a responsible pet owner and would keep them far from my dogs if needed. I also hate traveling and I’m a homebody. So from my research I think I could be a good sugar glider owner. But it’s completely new territory for me. Any thoughts or advice? Sorry for the long ass post. Thanks

I love high heeled shoes but can no longer wear them. I have too many foot and ankle issues. Alas…I’m thankful that there are cute flats out there!
