Does imitrex cause blood clot

Genital skin tags do not usually cause symptoms. When they do, symptoms can include:
Pain and irritation from rubbing on clothing
Soreness from being scratched
Bleeding from being scratched
Pain from being twisted
If a skin tag becomes twisted, it may develop a blood clot beneath it that can be painful.
Skin tags may develop as early as in your 20s. Most people stop getting new ones after age 70.

HPV warts can crop up and disappear over time. They may reappear in another spot. Sometimes clusters of several warts will form, which may look like cauliflower.

IDK what to think or do, I am a very active sleeper, moving around a lot and mostly sleep on my stomach
I received an F20 mask with airtouch memory foam which is supposed to be comfortable, but it does not feel good...
When I put it on and lay on my side, I cannot just stay there stationary until morning, how do people do that? I have an urge to want to sleep on my stomach with my forehead pressed into the pillow, which is not possible with the mask... :/ I'm 5'11 280lbs using a very firm mattress, side sleeping causes intense shoulder pain also, but a firmer mattress is needed for heavier people...

I am 35F, 5'5", 163 lbs, 7 mos pregnant, and 10 days out of a metatarsal internal fixation surgery for my left foot. I am currently doing daily injections of Lovenox because of my risk factors for blood clots.
I have had 3 splints and 1 cast in the last 10 days--a cascade originally set off by the OR putting a splint extremely tight on my foot to the point I was getting excruciating pain and nerve pain for 3 days. Re-splinted poorly by urgent care, then put in a cast by my ortho to protect everything once they saw the urgent care splint.
Fast forward 4 days from casting--my foot was actually starting to feel a bit better, but then an ice bag leaked and got the heel of the cast wet on a weekend. So, back to the ER to splint, except when they cut the cast off they found this discoloration and what the ER doc hypothesized was skin breakdown caused by pressure because the red part still flushes when pressed. It has swelled more it seems and been quite painful with the new splint from the ER.
Image in comments--should I be concerned about a skin infection? I see my ortho mid next week to have stitches removed. Should I seek other care before then?

Hey ladies!!! So, I just wanted to make this post to hopefully give some women HOPE. I have been on Oral Minoxidil since November 2023. I take 2.5mg twice a day. I took it daily, never missing a dose. I LOOKED FORWARD to taking it, because my hair loss was so extreme at that point that I was terrified to even brush my hair, let alone wash it. It seemed to get a little worse 3-5 months in, but the research I saw told me that was common. BUT... about 1 1/2-2 months ago (so, late April-beginning of May) it STOPPED FALLING OUT!!!!!! I went from ONE time brushing FILLING up my brush, no joke, to one time barely seeing any hair fall out. My clothes and pillowcases aren't COVERED in my hair anymore. I can run my hands thru my hair now, with only several pieces coming out, instead of several hundred. I worked in salons most of my life. NOT getting a HC is unheard of for me. I haven't had a HC in over 3 years because I was TOO SCARED of how much would fall out with the combs they use. I have been doing a poor job of trimming my own hair at home and just wearing it up for 3 years. I am now READY to go get a LEGIT cut, knowing the hair loss has STOPPED. Ladies... If you try Oral Minoxidil, just stick with it. I swear it WILL kick in, and when it does, it will be amazing. Plus, I am broke... I can't afford rogaine foam, and being honest... I am not disciplined enough to use it daily, maybe even twice a day. I am lucky to have insurance that covers most of my cost, but if you don't, check GoodRX prices in your local area. Just need to know the dose and quantity. My peach fuzz has seemed to get a little worse, but that is a small price to pay to have my hair coming back. Thank God for razors and clippers! 😬😂 Other than that, I haven't had ANY side effects. We can remove hair... Adding it back in, sadly, is not as easy. I just TRULY wanted to give other ladies hope, and let you know that this just may be a great option for you. The relief I have felt for the last 1 1/2-2 months has been indescribable. My PCP prescribes it for me. I do have several health issues, Fibromyalgia being a main one, but I dunno if that is causing this? Oh, I have type 2 diabetes, also. I am guessing it is like the foam, that if you stop using, the hair loss will start again? I have no plans on stopping, I refuse to find out the hard way 🥺 Just hoping to provide some hope to those wondering what to do or if the oral medication is right for you. I know how desperate feeling it can be. I am now just waiting to see what grows back. I am HOPING it will help my brows grow back, but I'll be HAPPY just to have my hair again. Sending tons of love. This is just a horrible thing to have to experience as a woman. Huge hugs to you all. I'll check back to see if I can help answer anymore questions, but I covered what I can think of here. Again... It takes a while, so DONT QUIT. You have to let it kick in 6-8 months before results. I am SO GLAD I stuck with it. Again... My blood work has not shown an exact cause. Could be either of the two I mentioned, or could be found in the future... I wish I had an exact cause. I DO know my scalp usually hurts and itches all the time. I’m a diabetic, and when I have hypoglycaemia episodes, I often get the common full-body symptoms like racing heart, sweating, going pale, feeling dizzy and shaky etc., horrid. I’ve heard it’s because the body produces adrenaline when you’re low but I’d love to know why? It feels like when I’m low I get all these symptoms but my brain still can’t seem to get myself to function in any adaptive way 😅

my TSH jumped from 2.3 last year to 5.5, and I have had many symptoms I was attributing to mental health issues: weight gain, fatigue, body aches and worsening depression despite being medicated. My main concern for her was weight gain. I got a hormonal IUD in 2021 and gained 40 pounds in 9 months, completely out of nowhere. I didn’t even have the motivation to get seen until last year which is when I brought it up to her, but when my TSH was normal she gave me the groundbreaking advice to eat less and move more. I tried explaining that my habits hadn’t changed from when I was at a healthier weight and she clearly didn’t buy it. Now with the elevation in my TSH and my weight not having budged in a year, I was hoping this could be the answer. Now I am worried she isn’t exploring this enough and I am going to be brushed off again. I am so done with being uncomfortable and exhausted and feeling sick all the time. I just want answers. I don’t know how to advocate for myself even with my nursing degree and the basic knowledge I retained of this stuff from school. I am trying to even get an appointment to follow up within her one month window—considering it took me 8 weeks to get my last appointment I don’t have high hopes. I am considering literally refusing to let the MA take my blood until I know that the doctor has ordered a full thyroid panel. I don’t care if it’s not indicated based on my levels, I will pay out of pocket to understand why i’ve felt this way for 3 years. And I want her to remove my IUD when she does my pap smear because I think those hormones may be causing this as well. The timing is too close to be a coincidence.

My gf just got her period today, it was the 37th day of her cycle. She took a test yesterday and it showed a negative result.
She mentioned that the color of her period blood was PINKISH (not DARK RED like the usual) and she didn't seem to notice any blood clots. Just this afternoon, she said that it was weird because her flow doesn't seem to be as heavy as before. We're getting a bit worried if does this indicate that she's pregnant? Can I ask for advice from anyone here? We're willing to order the pills as soon as possible. It's just that, we want to know if this is already a positive.

After 10 months of seeing over 20 specialists, a misdiagnosis that put me on immunosuppressants/biologics for 6 months, ER visits, hospital stays, and almost entirely normal testing... finally received some quite out of range results. And they are... not what I expected.
Symptoms: - Edema (no joint involvement or synovitis) in fingers, hands, knees, and able with large tissue lumps/cysts around ankle bone and feet. This started in my hands only and time got much worse, spreading to other body parts. - Livedo reticularis and rashes: Vasculitis tests are negative (ANCA and biopsy), but livedo is not particularly benign. Always present in ankles and hands / wrists as well as knees. Gets worse when cold but doesn't quite go away upon warming. Maculopapular rash on chest and back. Burning red patches on mottled skin. Intermittent odd rashes that come and go. Constantly purple feet and very obvious evidence of vasoconstriction. - Severe BP fluctuations. I have been sent to the ER for 70/30 before and then once had an acute kidney injure after a period of very elevated BP. Recently, it is 150/110 whilst resting. While it does lower at times slightly in the day, the high or low levels tend to last months. - Acute kidney injury in Feb 24, but quickly resolved after 4 days hospital admission - otherwise rising but normal creatine. - Daily headaches, abdominal issues, significant weight loss. - Tender skin with what looks like small patches of lost pigment (permanent) - Clusters of blood spots, disappear within a few days but reappear elsewhere. New bruising daily. - Abnormal UAs but no infection or bacteria culture growth.
Tests: - All autoimmune, heme, cardiology, neurology tests normal for typically tested conditions. No sign of concern with vein or arteries via Dopplers, aside from diminished PVR waveforms in feet/toes and milt arterial insufficiency in upper extremities. - Very odd MRI results - suggest chronic changes in tendons / ligaments in ankles + edema around the cartilage in knee (I'm slightly underweight, have never been particularly athletic, no prior injury, and am 31 - so unlikely to be overuse) - Punch biopsy on leg (no lesion or ulceration) showed perivascular erythrocyte extravasation, increased vessels, and subcutaneous fibrosis.
Recent tests (normal): - Chromogranin A: 64 (Normal range: 0 - 187 ng/mL) - Metanephrine, Free: 32 (Normal value: <=57 pg/mL)
Abnormal ** - Normetanephrine, Free: 382, ~3x elevated (Normal value: <=148 pg/mL) - Total, Free (Mn+Nmn): 414, ~2x elevated (Normal value: <=205 pg/mL) - Glucagon: <6, low (Normal range: 11 - 78 pg/mL) - Aldosterone, LC/MS: 102, ~5x elevated - Plasma Renin Activity, LC/MS/MS: 3.44 (Normal range: 0.25 - 5.82 ng/mL/h) - ARR: ~30
I understand this suggests adrenal dysfunction / potential tumor - my dr. has been vague as I am guessing he does not want to scare me but these odd results are causing even more anxiety as I don't understand the degree to which they are indicative of such. Next step is 24 hour urine.
More confusing, my Dengue antigen test came out quite high, though antibody low so no current infection. My symptoms began 3 days after a spending a week in USVI - a dengue epidemic. I did not have a typical fever but rashes look similar to "acute phase"... though 10 months later I still have these. I don't see much research on chronic Dengue that lasts this long, but timing seems way too coincidental. I was also put on immunosuppressants within a few weeks of this, so am wondering if it's crazy to think this may have caused long term vessel issues / immune deficiency / and proliferated potential tumors??

I've been feeling a little bummed out lately. I always try and stay happy and see the best in things. But.. I've just been so alone. Most of my whole childhood and adult years have been spent feeling lonely. I grew up surrounded by cornfields which was peaceful but also has a lonely aspect to it. My family never really were close and never did anything as a family really. And part of it too is the fact that I never had any neighbors my age to interact with. But aside from that, my adult life has been very lonely. I'm just always by myself. I barely have any meaningful adult relationships or experiences, or even any friends.
I work a 3-11 job in building maintenance at my company world headquarters building which I love, but again it's very lonely. I work the off shift so the building is always empty. I don't get normal social interaction with people my age or a chance to build relationships. I only have 3 older men as co-workers and we are mostly in the basement away from any people on the floors from knowing our existence. I always walk the floors and see office people laughing and chatting with their coworkers and I just don't have that kind of experience. And just.. no one knows I exist really. Everyone probably assumes I have a lot of friends, but I'm struggling inside with being so alone and trying to meet people and get past the "hi how are you?" "I'm good thanks" stage. Most people don't seem to want to talk beyond that. And most women are already in relationships and thus it would seem weird to approach them in an office setting trying to get to know them deeper. But man those "hi how are yous" are the only real interactions I get during my day.. so thus I decided to come here lol. Rant over, sorry! I promise I'm not a downer. 😅
Now for some things about me!
As you can tell, I am very mature for my age and am polite and have good grammar which unfortunately not everyone my age does anymore lol. I am not active at all on social media/internet culture really and don't know much about all the slang the younger people these days use. I feel like I'm 50. 🤣
I am left handed which is pretty cool. I'm not much of a party person or a drinker, I much prefer a quiet night at home and maybe a beer or two on a weekend but that's about it. I am simple and stay out of drama and trouble and don't get much into politics or other things that cause drama with people. I much prefer a relaxing campfire and a night at home and to just let the world keep on turning haha. I consider myself pretty intelligent and mature.
Sexually, I am very open minded and non judgemental. Even if you're having your period I don't mind messing around because I am totally comfortable with that. Some guys get really freaked a out about that and blood etc. and I don't get it because it's a natural part of being a woman and something that should be respected and understood and not something to be grossed out by. I know some women tend to get more horny on their period and thats when most guys don't want anything to do with them, but I'm different!
Physically I'm 180 pounds, have brown hair, green eyes, and a typical build.
Some of my hobbies are:
• Photography
I have a Nikon D200 and D5500 that I love to shoot with. I love nature scenes, abstract, black and white/goth kinda photography, sunsets, etc. it's so fun to just let your mind explore. It's not about what camera you have, but those who are behind the camera!
• Cooking and baking
I loveeee to cook and bake! I enjoy making various meals but also love to just have a frozen pizza once in awhile or something like that. I recently made homemade chili which turned out great. I love to bake, especially in the fall! I love pies, cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. I restored a vintage KitchenAid mixer that needed tbe gearbox rebuilt. Eventually I would love to practice home canning my own food.
• Music
Oh my gosh, I like so much!! Alternative rock, punk, post punk, electronic, synth pop, psychedelic rock, hard rock, etc. I am very non judgemental and open when it comes to music. My three current favorite bands are Type O Negative, Joy Division, and the Cure.
• Nature walks and camping
I really enjoy camping, making fires, and relaxing by a campfire. I love to take walks outside and just enjoy the beauty and simplicity of nature. It's wonderful, especially in a world so focused on everything digital.
• Repairing things
I'm a maintenance guy and one of my hobbies is electronics repair so I am good with my hands and just all around good at troubleshooting and fixing all sorts of things around the house. Last week I helped my elderly neighbor get his tractor started, it needed a new component in the starting circuit. So I'm pretty handy which... Comes in handy! 😂
• Autumn 🍁
This isn't a hobby per say, but man do I love the fall!!! It's my absolute favorite time of the year. Oh my gosh. The beautiful colors, crisp cool air, misty and foggy days, rain, lack of bugs, being cuddled up with a candle or by the fire drinking a tea, etc. I love it! There's only two seasons for me. Fall, and waiting for fall! Haha.
• Scented Candles and incense
Going along with my love for fall, I absolutely love candles! I have like 30 something lol. 😂 Currently my favorite are WoodWick, which are owned by Yankee candle. They have such a soothing crackle and the scents are great! I also love to burn incense from time to time as well. I have cottagecore hippie vibes.
• Old houses and architecture
I love old houses! Especially 1900s and Victorian era homes. Old homes have so much character to them and are just so beautiful from a time when people took pride in their craft. I strongly dislike the modern cookie cutter cheap construction of homes today. I would love to live in an old home one day. I also love their architecture and uniqueness, as well as architecture of old cathedrals and other buildings.
• Relaxing
Basic I know, but sometimes on the weekend I just love to get cozy in bed and relax and put on a YouTube video or an album! 😊
That's about it for me, I'm a pretty laid back and simple person. My ideal person is someone who is respectful and honest! I am very straightforward and open minded and would hope that you are as well.

So this is my first time posting a DnD story here. I'm not sure how long I can make these but I just think this was funny and so far has been a highlight of my relatively short DnD career.
So I was DMing a 1 on 1 game a few months ago with the premise of the PC and a bunch of people getting isekaid into this fantasy world and accidentally taking over the bodies of people in the forgotten realms. One by one at seemingly random times throughout the month, a random person from our world would die horribly to get forcibly borrow the body of a fantasy character. And coincidentally, the PC was thrown into the body of an elven woman with a missing older brother, Eize, who apparently got a reputation after his disappearance. And PC believes that guy might have some clue how to get back home and plus the girl she's accidentally taken the body of, Luna, is now in her head and wants PC to carry out her task and find him. So both of their paths are set on finding this one guy. Perfect. The whole time, the fact that this elf woman was actually this random human from another world hijacking her body was kept a secret to most characters she came across. Including an NPC party member who I just kind of made to guide her through the basics of DnD.
It was her first time playing so I made the elf she was hijacking have an archer roommate friend who tries to see if she can shoot an arrow well, lift, and other stuff that would translate into different rolls at the start. Turns out the PC really liked him so he tagged along to help her find her missing brother not knowing that the person in control of her body and voice was... someone else entirely. Occasionally, since she's in the body of someone who already has a history with the weapon she's using (A bow. She picked a ranger) we'd just let any exceptionally good rolls be explained by the trained muscle memory of the woman whose body she's possessing kicking in and doing the heavy lifting for the PC. And occasionally, said elf woman would appear in her head for commentary, ideas, brief explanations and just another outlook on whats happening. Sometimes even throwing in a random wisdom save for select moments to see if the elf would momentarily take over. Small things like when PC is trying to get drunk, a failed random wisdom save would make the normally lightweight elf refuse to lift that mug to her lips for a brief moment. Or in another scenario when she successfully rescued tutorial NPC from being captured (which is a... whole other story), a failed random wisdom save made PC lunge forward and wrap him in a hug since the actual elf has known him for a long time so naturally she'd want to hug him. Just to remind that these were people with their own lives before they were bodyjacked. But these were just very fleeting moments of free will... fun for flavor though!
But anyways after meeting another isekaid soul who's using his host's magical powers as a means to steal and be a pretty shady dude, PC and Luna get a little tip that the guy isn't on the same plane thanks to a magic map that can track anyone in the world. PC used it on herself and someone she met but couldnt find the one they were after. So where to go next but PC a school of mages that can take her to other planes via a staff they have made specifically for this. But in exchange she has to jot down anything she can find to help them document the creatures since one of the students casted fireball in their library. Its a deal! The downside to this staff was that it needs 24 ingame hours to recharge so she has to make sure she knows where shes going. But... she doesnt. And theres like 16 planes in DnD.
So she guesses! And after a little bit of body horror explaining how the staff melts and sucks the PC into itself before teleporting to the other plane and spitting her out, the PC's sent to an area where only what is directly in front of her is visible. If its a little in her peripheral, it'll just disappear into a void. The main reason for this was because I got bored or lost trying to study what the actual planes are like and just kinda made something up for one of them. But after looking around what was basically a desolate landscape with a few abandoned towns, she finds this tall.... thing just kinda standing in a grassy field looking off somewhere. So of course, she decides now is as good time as any to draw the big fella. Was her first time drawing anything ingame. Nat 20. Turns out the person she took the body of is a Davinci-level artist and she didnt even know it and every single art PC wants to draw after this was an automatic masterpiece
But then, when she turns around to at least look for a resting point, theres something off. Roll perception: passed! Something following her.
Due to the nature of this area, she cant tell exactly what or who unless shes looking directly at it so she cant even sneak a glance over her shoulder. So she turns. Dex check: failed. Nothing.
Instead, her one and only party member NPC pointed behind her. And what she sees is the man of the hour; a big tall creature arching its freakishly long neck and spine downwards to get a better look at her with a huge array of masks with different expressions lining his back and somehow staring right at her. And on its face was a joyous mask described as being akin to one of those old tragedy/comedy plays.
PC asks "who... what are you."
And this is where I finally got to cement the name and the creature answers, "I am Gay... Though, this word has a varying meaning though does it not? Call me Happy."
We did not call them Happy. Because me and the PC were both 12 at heart and Gay is just funnier. So Gay is a Aasfaraaba, creatures who are basically just named an emotion so legally, by the books own admission, I can name a character in the most serious context, Gay. He's Gay. And that just makes me smile.
And despite the PC trying to keep the fact that she's hijacked someones body and the fact that the real elf is kind of just a bystander in her own mind a secret, the first thing Gay does is stare directly at the PC and ask "why are there two of you" completely ignoring the NPC party member and nudging forward the idea that Gay can see both people inside her. And no im not rephrasing that because I dont know how to for this one. Gay gives her some information on where the guy she's looking for is while politely says that Eize and his "parasite" are in a different plane entirely called Baator. Frankly, what else could you call these isekaid bodysnatches if not parasites? And as the creature explains this, the joy mask switched seamlessly to a different one with the only real sign its not just the mask physically changing was the discarded expression suddenly being in their hand. With more being added the more the conversation went on and the expressions had to change.
Despite Gay being a weird eldritch creature, me and the other player loved the dude and the fact that fact that their presence meant i could seamlessly make gay puns. Turns out the dude just like to come here to listen to the stories of lost souls that find their way to this place. And that they just like the weird phenomena like chocolate rain appearing at a certain time and shows off how magic simply touching the air makes a bunch of weird and random effects like summoning a simple ball of light and watching as it slowly morphs into pink strawberry icecream. Dude was just here for fun and noticed these people who dont belong here.
And after a short interaction, Gay said they didnt want to miss the chocolate rain starting soon and asked if PC had any other questions. The NPC party member is freaking out still and the actual elf woman forced as a bystander is weirded out but PC really likes him and says "I like him! Her? Um… do you have a gender by chance we can call you by?" Gay's response?
"What is that?"
Gay was just Gay. And Gay had no gender.
And that was it. A character made from a monster i thought was cool and a joke i thought was funny that quickly became a favorite among me and the player despite the dude not even showing up much. He did appear another time much later after this when she went to a different plane, Baator, which to my knowledge is basically Hell. And Gay was just kinda sitting by a river of blood and rapidly moving, outstretched arms. PC runs over to the mask enthusiast screaming, "Hey! Gay!" which of course got a nice out of game chuckle cause we are once again both 12 mentally, and this dude pulls out a mask with a guy cupping his chin and says "do I know you" And after a short awkward shift in tone with PC thinking she was racist thinking all weirdly tall mask collectors were the same person, Gay cackles, swaps to a mask of wild laughter, and says "Did you appreciate my joke?"
Turns out PC caught Gay sitting by a river of souls, stating they find it "relaxing." And proceeds to turn a piece of one of their shattered masks into a beach ball that gets tossed around by the flailing souls being whisked away. Gay gives her a hint, light plane lore, and directions on where to go when asked at this point, Gay was just the PCs very hands off guide when she goes to other planes so as to give her SOME kind of hint as to which direction her main goal is. But mostly sticking to a few random spots far away and immediately leaving to do whatever they came here for in the first place after a bit of talking.
And the FINAL of the three Gay events happened when PC finally found the elf's brother and bested him in an incredibly close boss fight with a very confused party member. Turns out the one hijacking Eize was body to- somehow successfully gain a pact with nearly every demon including Glasya, who in DnD lore, I think? is a big deal since shes the daughter of the big boss of DnD Satan. And the PC isnt fond of Eize's "parasite" using his body for evil. PC is upset. The elf whos watching her brother being puppetered like this, is upset. And the NPC is completely clueless as he lacks the context of wtf they're both talking about.
But loyal to the end, NPC helps his friend beat up her suddenly evil brother and with just a bit of health left, she tries to teleport them back home...? Back... to the normal DnD plane. i don't know what its called. But she forgot to bring Eize and the NPC tutorial friend. The guy she spent all this time trying to get and several irl months trying to find. Because all creatures need to touch the staff to teleport to a new plane and she thought that simply holding hands with someone else would drag them along. It didnt. So now she has to wait several in game hours while her ally is in literal Hell with the enemy while she has a measly 2 hit points left after the battle. So she goes back to the wizards who give her a health potion and casts a plane spell. I dont remember if thats a thing they can do but i did mention they could do it once months ago so PC just asked them to just teleport her there.
With limited time and limited health, she's spawned right back to where she did before in Baator with Gay still just chilling by the river of souls. PC desperately asks Gay to take her to Glasya's castle where Eize and her friend are still probably laid out. Gay just looks at her and says "...You're still here?"
And so engages an attempt to persuade Gay to help.... and it fails. Because I, in my brief and probably flawed readings, understood devils in DnD to be really into the idea of only helping IF you have something to offer, Gay says, "I must obey the rules of this plane, and that requires me to only help you in return of something of value. However there is nothing of value you have for me. So I cannot aid."
She tries again, saying that if she doesn't get to her brother soon, they could start a massive war against the other planes. Which... didnt need a roll. Aasfaraabas dont really give a hoot about any of that. So that one just automatically failed. "Oh, my sweet girls. The safety or conquer of the planes does not concern my kind." Didnt work either.
So in a huff PC was about to just leave. Then one more idea comes to mind. In the form of the elf shes hijacking asking her to trade knowledge about PCs non-fantasy homeworld. A persuasion roll here and it actually works!
So Gay yells something in another language and just stops time so they can hear her story. For Gay has Wish. Any spell is theirs to use including the one to stop time. "Very well. If you wouldn't mind, I will take my payment now." So they sit down and after telling Gay all about her own world with bikes, trains, cars, and a bunch of technology, And so Gay is content and simply snaps her around the proper location she needs to be. Not the exact area since theres no way to know exactly where to put her but Gay had a general idea and made the trek significantly shorter.
And that was it. Thats the final appearance of the most powerful random NPC i've ever created who just so happens to be a favorite among me and the player AND a very fun character to write. Half of the time, the descriptions of what the guy were just vague and confused as though I, the DM, didnt know what to call him. Saying things like "the tall.... thing stared down at you." "The masked.... thing" The word Aasfaraaba was foreign to the player since i didnt tell her. It was her first game and I wanted things to be naturally told via the game and the species name was never brought up in Gay's 3 whole appearances. Gay was just Gay. It became a little joke that "Gay was just Gay" The other player didnt want to know what Gay was. Didnt need to know Gay's gender. Gay was just Gay.

Hello all, first time poster here.
I’ve had some thoughts and questions that might be really out there because I’m not an expert with the lore but it’s been on my mind for a while now. But here we go.
Okay, so Remix was obviously made as a business decision (this is not to hate on Remix, because I love it) to entice players to stay subscribed until the launch of TWW. However, my thought was, why choose MoP? At first I thought it just made sense because it was an awesome expansion with a ton of unique rewards that really don’t exist anywhere else in the game (I.e. cloud serpents) I know, I know, all expansions have unique rewards but MoP really had a super unique theme IMO that isn’t really close to any other xpac.
With that being said, I still feel like there was an another crucial reason that they chose MoP. It might have been just coincidence or convenience, but I think it ties into the World Soul Saga as a whole. This was an opportunity for some potential foreshadowing by letting players (veteran and new) re-experience the lore of this expansion that might lead into some important plot points of the WSS.
Below are points I’ve listed that I believe tie MoP and TWW/ WSS together:

1. Y’Shaarj

- as we know, Y’Shaarj was the main antagonist of MoP (debatable still, Garrosh was the one we fought though he was ultimately corrupted by the heart) - Y’Shaarj was the greatest of the old gods according to some - According to chronicles, Aman Thul ripped Y’Shaarj out of Azeroth, leaving behind its heart. My theory here is that the Black Blood we see in Azj’Kahet is not Azeroth’s corrupted blood, but in fact Y’Shaarj’s blood left behind from that cataclysmic event. That’s what eventually turned the aqir located there into Nerubians. - There is mural that has been posted around from Alpha that looks very similar to the ones from the Klaxi in reference to Y’Shaarj. Ever 100% confirmed, but very probable. 

1. Xal’atath
   
   • There is still not a lot we know about Xal I’ll admit
   • Theory: Xal’atath (the blade) was made from a claw of Y’Shaarj. I can’t back this up with evidence, but I’ve heard it mentioned numerous times.
   • We know Xal has a strong connection with the void.
2. The Dark Heart and Galakdrond
   
   • We know Iridikron infused Galakrond’s essence within the heart, who was the greatest most terrifying of all proto dragons. Is that essence powerful enough to create a new “Heart of Y’Shaarj”?
   • As far as I have read, not much is known of Galakrond and his creation or birth. All that is known that it is the “progenitor or dragon kind”. Could Galakrond been a spawn or creation of an Old God, particularly Y’Shaarj?
3. Geography and Ra-Den
   
   • the Klaxi, Qiraji, and now Nerubians all appear on the south west portion of Azeroth. The Southern part of Kalimdor, Western Pandaria, and now Khaz’Algar positioned right in between those two continents. Could that be the ancient residing space of Y’Shaarj?
   • Obviously we have the Nerubians in Northrend but I believe that will play an important part in The Last Titan.
   • Ra or Ra-Den was the Titan keeper in charge of the southern portions of Azeroth.
   • Ra was in charge of Uldum and the Vale which is where both portals to Ny’Alotha opened, where we confront N’Zoth. This is another connection with Y’Shaarj and Xal. [see below]
   • While the geography of it all might sound insignificant, I believe it was intentional.
4. BfA and MoP
   
   • There is a subtle link here between between Y’Shaarj and N’Zoth with Xal’atath being the bridge. We know Xal strikes a deal with N’Zoth to free her “spirit” from the blade. This is based on the assumption that while the Old Gods fought with each other in ancient times, that they are now begrudgingly in league with each other to survive. I assume Xal’atath (either a servant of Y’Shaarj or a fragment of Y’Shaarj itself) was able to convince N’Zoth to make a deal because “N’Zoth is the weakest of the four old gods” according to her.
5. Loose ends
   
   • Locus-Walker How does the Locus-Walker recognize Xal’atath almost immediately?
   • Archmage Drenden This might not matter at all, and it might have been a super convenient plot point for Metzen, but where did Drenden go all those years ago, and how is he welcome back to the Kirin’Tor so quickly?

I believe Xal’atath is trying to do one of three things:

• Resurrect Y’Shaarj to dominate all life on Azeroth and control Azeroth’s world soul in order to rule the universe with the void.
  
• Empower herself with the essence of Y’Shaarj and the world soul, to defeat the titans, and rule the universe with the void.
  
• Bring about the corruption of Azeroth’s world soul and its heroes to defeat the titans and create a new universal order under the void.
  

There are so many possible outcomes from what I have listed out here but I think one thing is clear in my mind: MoP Remix was not just a coincidence. I think it was intentional and we are going to see it play out in one way or another in the World Soul Saga. It’s very exciting and I can’t wait to hear what y’all think.

Aspects of Shadow, Death and Destruction
{inspired by Crawling Shades, Twisting Abyss, and even more so, that one Great Elder whose shadow minions just straight-up deleted people from reality}
The Kagami family are a subordinate clan of the Akura who fell from prominence two centuries ago. They host a strange Bloodline that made their birth rather difficult. They are born with a Remnant as a conjoined twin. This Remnant is later incorporated into their living twin's shadow with the aid of Soulsmithing.
The Shadow Remnant is kept weaker than their bonded, until their fledgling will is fully overpowered by their living twin, after which they serve their sibling as bodyguard, scout, companion, or whatever role they desire. The Shadow is already spiritually conjoined and dependent on their sibling-host, this just ensures that it is also disadvantaged in terms of willpower by crippling it at its formative stage, as it develops its own intelligence.
At the height of Truegold, the Shadow is turned into a spiritual space via more Soulsmithing - this isn't strictly necessary but it is extremely useful, it makes the Shadow even better at dealing with madra techniques, giving it more time to annihilate them by capturing them within itself.
The Shadow didn't just envelop and destroy techniques, its most fearsome use is to swallow up living targets, using the Death and Destruction aura generated by the act to Cycle, and grow stronger.
The Path requires a lot of Soulsmithing knowledge, but in return it provides a powerful Sacred Arts companion, less like a bonded Sacred Beast, more akin to a Blood Shadow or Living Lightning.
Mirrored Night madra appears a textureless black in colour, so dark that it doesn't even seem real. Cycling it causes emotionlessness, like nothing truly matters, and can lead to depression.
Kagami clan Remnants are still connected to their Shadow (assuming the Shadow survived whatever killed the artist in the first place), though the relationship between them usually flips, with the Remnant in-charge. This is culturally accepted by thethe Kagami as reciprocation for faithful service, but also used by the more conservative faction as an example of why it's better to completely subdue and dominate one's Shadow rather than treating them as partners, a demonstration as to why one's Shadow might turn treacherous and lead you to death so it can use your Remnant as its servant instead.
The Remnant itself looks like a corporealized shadow. They are known to, on occasion, bestow their bonded Shadow as a Goldsign - but more often they just grant black tendrils erupting from one's feet like stalks of long grass as a more mundane Goldsign, these tendrils can be used in combat to bind, whip, grasp, catch, etc.

Kiss of Persephone: could be considered a cross between a spiritual and weapon enforcement technique, used to empower their Shadow's strikes. Allowing it to intercept attacks on the artist's behalf, or to directly strike at their mutual opponent. Direct hit causes withering damage upon the target, causing their entire body to rot. Outright kills any even slightly weaker Sacred Artist with a single glancing hit (unless they were a powerful Life artist perhaps, or focused on body cultivation - enriching the Vital Aura of their body), their body crumbling into dust. It causes a similar effect on madra constructs and non-living structures, causing them to seemingly age at an advanced rate, destabilize and crumble. At the height of Truegold, they stop leaving behind any remains at all. Once the Shadow engulfs them, they cease to exist.

EnforceForger
Embrace of the Dead: hybrid of spiritual and full-body enforcement with Forger elements, the technique is imbued onto their Shadow, which rises up and settles about their shoulders like a shadowy cloak. Imbues a destructive might onto their attacks, like every physical hit was a direct contact Striker technique. The Shadow also acts like armour, increasing their durability - and at Underlord, the technique outright transforms in visual appearance (and correspondingly, in performance) from an indistinct hazy cloak to a shadow armour.

Grasp of the Unhallowed: all the shadows in the surrounding area pool together on the floor, turning the floor black as the abyss, and from that abyss emaciated hands with vicious claws rise and attack the target(s). These attacks are automated by the technique and don't require any further direction from the artist. The claws appear and attack too fast for even a Truegold to properly seize control of spiritually, so they need to wait till Underlord to properly control and direct (or perhaps even modify) the technique.

It usually requires the help of their Shadow, for additional spiritual control, to create a compressed sphere of properly unstable energies instead of creating a more stable construct or having it go off in your face instead of your opponent's. The orb explodes into a wave of darkness that destroys anything living caught within it.

Seeds of Zagreus: the Shadow passes through other shadows and infects them, turning them into weaker versions of itself. It is not a method to increase its strength, but rather to divide it. You typically don't use it while facing an opponent of similar power, instead it's an army killer. The technique imbues spiritual power and will into shadows and raises them up to attack multiple targets at once, your victims experience their own shadows rise up to devour them. It can also be used as area denial or for sneak attacks, so it does have some versatility. Mirrored Night madra develops a small degree of affinity for Living Techniques due to their Bloodline, which is what makes this technique possible.

Chains of the Netherworld: had a rather lengthy original name: "No Longer Let Life Divide, What Death Can Join Together". A weaker version of this technique can be executed at Overlord, taking the form of spectral chains rather than the invisible Archlord version, its effects are only temporary, dissolving within a few days. There's also an Underlord version, which just serves as a foundation for the rest of the technique to build upon later on, that looks like twin tendrils of shadow looped together in a helical pattern rather than proper chain links, this can only act as a particularly lethal capture method. The true Netherworld Chains erupt from the Shadow, nearly as invisible as the bonds of Soul Oaths, and proceeds to wrap around its target, until they're completely cocooned in writhing chains. When the technique runs its course, a new Shadow joins the artist.

Genital and oral herpes are common viral infections caused by the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2). They are two of eight types of herpes viruses. HSVs are transmitted easily through skin-to-skin and sexual contact, as well as saliva. It can spread even when symptoms are not present.
After an initial herpes outbreak, HSV remains in the body and becomes inactive, also called dormant or latent, and does not cause symptoms. If the virus becomes active again, patients experience an outbreak of lesions or sores at the same site as the initial infection.
To determine if you have herpes, there are a few different tests available. But getting tested for Herpes tends to be something people might feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about because of the stigma attached to sexually transmitted diseases. That’s why for some, at-home testing can be a good solution.

Just be aware that in most cases, at-home herpes blood testing cannot definitively show whether you have an active herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection. Physician-ordered testing is often necessary to confirm a diagnosis of genital or oral herpes.

I'm going to get a little long winded just to make sure I provide enough information.
So about 10 years ago I ended up getting gout in my ankle(didn't know it then, just thought I tweeked my ankle somehow). Worst experience ever, tried to sleep it off for a few days before eventually going to the doctor and got prednisone prescribed(I'm allergic to ibuprofen). Cleared right up. For the next few years one of my ankles would flare up exactly 1 year apart(usually in December). By year 4 I started to find the pattern odd so I did some research and had the doctor test blood for uric acid and sugar levels(my research showed it could be gout or diabetes related). Everything came back normal. Doctor even did xray of ankle to see if he could visually see uric acid crystals. Nothing. About this time I went through a pretty down time in my life, just being super unhealthy, low energy, and lethargic. Started experiencing other symptoms(occasional blurry vision, random skin rashes, some hair loss, dark brown urine that smelled lime pineapple juice with a metallic smell as well, urine was also super frothy( as in while I pee you cannot see the toilet bowl water, there was a 2inch layer of foam that developed). I will say that I was super unhealthy during this time eating fast food twice a day, and fluid intake consisted of soda and 3-4 IPAs daily. gout attacks had slowly increased to every 6 months and by year 8 every couple months. I would just take prednisone and it would clear within a day or two.
By this point I knew I was dealing with gout. Putting all my symptoms together and doing extensive research I came to the conclusion that my gout was related to having kidney function issues(frothy urine is leaked albumin protein passing through damaged kidneys, skin rashes were toxins building up in blood and leeching out and the metallic urine smell), and my kidney issues were related to high blood pressure(in fact its the number 1 cause of kidney failure with diabetes being #2. The blurry vision was a symptom of high blood pressure as well). The doctor always mentioned my blood pressure was high when I went in but we just attributed it to me being in extreme pain at the moment. And ghey didn't make a big deal of it, just mentioned it so I never put too much thought into it(high blood pressure does run in my family though). Read several articles that mentioned that in 9 out of 10 cases gout isn't a too much purine intake issue but rather a uric acid filtration issue.
At this point I learned that the run of the mill primary health doctor is a fucking moron outside of basic medical care. Why no one had even thought to check my kidneys at this point was beyond me. So I decided to take things into my own hands. First thing my diet needed to change. I knew I was on my way to being diabetic so I decided to do a intermittent fasting keto diet. For a week and a half I only ate between noon and 6pm, measured everything and drank only water. I was eating about 8oz of protein and staying under 15g of carbs which was ~1000 calories daily. I ended up losing 15lbs in the week and a half and felt great with alot more energy. However at the end I ended up getting a massive gout attack like no other before(it was always usually just in one of my ankles). This time my left ankle flared up, along with a baseball size knot in my elbow and several toe joints all at once. I'm guessing the rapid weight loss and stressing my kidneys with protein processing wasn't a good idea. So I switched to a more balanced diet and cut out alcohol, still need to work on working out more frequently but doing better. I just got a gout attack last week because I decided to have 5 beers while golfing. But the good news is that prior to that my previous attack was a year prior. So I'm trending in the right direction.
Does any of this resonate with anyone? If so how and what has your doctor told you? Is it curable?

Hi I (31F) need help with narrowing what is infection i might have. For the last week i had strong rhinitis with clear mucus. Meanwhile my colleague was scratchy voice(not sure if it´s called this way in english too) since thuesday, saying, that she just got her vocal cords irritated by icy drink. I believed her and we worked together for the rest of the week. On friday, she finnaly got some pastilles for that, but on that day i started to feel sore throat. In the evening, it was already so bad i could barelly swollow without tears(but still able to swallow, no obstruction). That went trough while night. Yesterday it got a bit calmer, but my rhinitis got stronger, producing green mucus(hard to describe, but it smells the way bitter pea taste). I heafeel bubbly noise while blowing my nose. Ears don´t hurt, just feel weird. Temperature 37,8°C, which is weird, since i usually don´t suffer from higher temperatures. Joints, but not muscle, pain. Also, for some reason, slight pain in kidney area. Tonsils are not swollen(at least from the outside). Mild to medium headache. Nausea without vomiting. Today woke up with dry cough. Everything remains the same. Rhinitic treated with Sinupret acut and camomile tea.
Non-acute health problems: Non alergic asthma(treated with inhalation corticoids) and Selective immunoglobulin A deficiency.
Does anyone know what it could be? I´m planning to call my doctor, but don´t want to go visit her, since i don´t really wanna travel 1,5 hour to city while knowing, that she doen´t like to do any other test than looking into my throat and hearing lungs.(yep, no blood or microbiology testing, unless it´s serious) I was thinking haemophilus influenzae, but will be happy for any advice. Anything that makes her not give me just another broad spectrum antibiotics.
