Reddit recommended it and keeps trying to push it because I sub to data/finance/business subreddits and also browse conservative sub for latest reactions. Question is being asked because I see it’s much more politically slanted in one side (like 90% imo) vs the economics subreddit which seems a lot more 2 sided and well less emotional.
For example: in almost every instance, you can find good and bad in most policies. Trump tariff war with China for example. Somewhat of a wash because he basically achieved nothing and exposed just how vulnerable U.S. farmers are. They pretty much are addicted to subsidies. But what the tariffs did do was set the tone and give politicians cover to go after China which in my opinion was good. China is a bad faith trading partner in many instance. Biden has expanded upon this but is far more strategic and surgical in his approach. US cant compete with China on everything, best to try to bolster industries that will be important for the future. But the knee jerk reaction under almost every post here goes like, Biden bad, no good at all. Basically whatever talking points conservatives have, this sub regurgitates…. Every once in awhile, if you dig deeper, there’s someone with either more nuance (people seem to be allergic to this), or just exposes the pitfall of the current thought process of the commenteOP. But they get far less upvotes.
Economic sub in my opinion should be pretty dry (not a team sport with entertainment value) but informative. Stereotypically Swiss, as in making strong points about both sides and not cherry picking and avoiding points that are inconvenient with your world view or the argument you’re trying to make.

I just grinded up to 6.2k beh score (and in the meantime gained like 1k mmr). Now i can chat again. This is a problem. Removing the hotkey for chat is just 2 clicks and it's back there.
I would like to have an option to ban myself from chatting for the current game. Or for the next x games. When i realise im about to get mad, i would activate it instantly.
Offcourse, most of normal day Dota players can't relate to it. I understand this.
But hey, us low beh score players are also just humans, with flaws, obviously. Most of us are not proud of it, i would assume. It's controll loss. The lvl of madness can get insane. I know for certain many players like me would welcome this feature and make use of it. It is indicative that the quality of games becomes way worse on the beh. score treshhold above the chatban (6k).
I want to elaborate somewhat further why a strictly (self)imposed chatban is something entirely different than "just not using chat":
When you have the option of using chat, you are aware of that. When things go wrong in the game, and the madness starts to increase, the urge of releasing the pressure by "venting" about how bad a teammate just did, increases to a point where you literally can't controll it any more, until you rage type something. The entire process, starting from the simple state of being aware of the option to use chat as a vent, lets you experience bad things in the game entirely different. When a chat ban is imposed, it is WAY more easy to just keep focussing on the game and your own game related actions, since there simply is no way to chat. Offcourse, there are other ways to vent, which is griefing. But the threshhold to actual griefing is a lot higher than just venting in chat.
Give us ways to prevent us from the selfharm. I see no downside to this.
[I would actually even go further and ask for self imposed timed play bans. Or self imposed daily game limits. But i realise this proposition, which i actually already asked for 10 years ago in the Dota Devs forum, will probably be rejected, since it might "hurt business" in some way. I actually think this argument is crap, and anything that helps create a less toxic envoirenment in this game improves business in the long run. Installing external controll mechanics to moderate humans weaknesses obviously does help tackle the issue of overall toxicity. I mean, you literally have a system for that already (Overwatch, Beh score, etc.). How could it be a bad idea to also give that controll to the affected players themselves?]

But they did release a recovery email address, which was not encrypted.

Right as he declared war on me I had no manpower, and was worried he'd drag the Iron Alliance in as well. Thankfully he didn't, and because it got updated some time in the past he couldn't hire them while at war, so the 6 or so troops I had deployed to try and hold the North could go down south. This was useful, because in the initial attack he hit us so hard that two of my infantry divisions just died, no encirclement, they were just dead. It was desperate and I was worried I couldn't hold. They had lost almost everything... and by the time I had reached the impassable terrain, they lost even more! Then I was holding, and noticed that his units where quite low on strength. He had lost about as much as I had, which was around 1,000 manpower and who knows how much equipment. So taking this advantage I started doing small encirclements where I could, slowly whittling his troops down until finally I encircled the vast majority of his army in different sections of the Sun Dog's former territories. Right after the second screenshot I had basically destroyed his army, encircling the rest of the troops in Colorado leaving him with 4 divisions and no hope of winning. Numbers for the Number Freaks. Finally tally for Lanius would be somewhere around 14k The rest of the war just carefully advancing (then just battle planning) and taking the focus to change into the Maxson Chapter and get a manpower injection. I definitely got lucky on this run, but it's been quite fun so far. |

But in this process I gave up my non-negotiables, my love for myself and now I am separated. I married a man, who is bi-polar, sociopathic and has no care inworld but his addiction for gaming. He lived the day as it and doesnt want to work. I am not a battered wifw but this drags me down along with the goals I want to achieve. Goals that I shouldve achieved 10 years ago.
Divorce is on it's second reading. Are women who are separated frowned upon by many in this generation? Dont we all need a second chance in life or should we just take things as it is and suffer the consequences of mentally breaking down?

Completed the online forms on the 1st May. I had no response to this and put a query on the journal on May 10th to ask when it would be applied from.
Again no response to this. Just had the statement through and there is no reference to it on there and no payment for it.
Is there a typical time frame for how quickly it gets processed or do I just need to ring the helpline and see what they can do?

So essentially, I have an Orlando (407) Google phone number, which in turn rings my (204) Winnipeg landline and cell number, allowing my relatives to call me on my cell or at home. Google sent me an email to confirm if my numbers were still valid (which it is) and since I have it on my Gmail, which I rarely monitor, I wasn't able to confirm that my numbers were still active and Google proceeded to deactivate my google phone acct... reactivating it means I will have to assign forwarding numbers again, but since Google Phone only allows US numbers, I am unable to get back my sweet setup (Google phone number ringing my Canadian numbers)... My landline btw, is a Freephoneline.ca VOIP acct, where I paid a one-time payment to port my number to Freephoneline and I get a lifetime VOIP acct that has free Canada calling. No monthly/annual fees ever...
My question is: are there any free DIDs anymore in the US? The usual free VOIPs like Callcentric and that Washington state free DIDs are no longer existing... I have a couple of Linksys ATAs that I can use, and it would be nice to get a US VOIP DID numbers that I can link to Google Voice.

Who we are!Task Force Sentinel(TFS) is a unit born from a group of people with a similar mindset. - Certification system: While not all roles require certifications we do require basic training that all must go through so everybody is on the same page. Along with that roles like Leadership, Armor, Air, and others that impact a missions success heavily require certifications so one person can’t ruin everyone's experience.
- In-Game Rank System: All ranks are kept in-game and do not leave with you into the discord/community.
- Semi-Realism: We expect all our players to be mature and teamwork oriented to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. We focus heavily on the US Military Platoon Structure with supporting assets depending on the operation. During operations, we expect all players to take it with a more serious tone, but we do not expect you to know Military dialect to play with us. As long as you are communicating and giving the operation your best, that is all we care about.
- No Attendance Requirement: We understand that real life happens and you won't always be able to attend ops every week, so we do not have a set limit of ops you have to attend.
- Operation Times: We tend to run operations at 1500EDT/EST on weekends and 2000EDT/EST on weekdays. However, it can depend on when the mission makers decide to host missions.
What We Expect From YouEven though we have an application and training process, we still observe the conduct of our day to day members. There are many traits we like to focus on that really help our group shine above others. Some of these traits include but are not limited to: Works well in a team environment Is respectful and mature Takes accountability for their actions Dedicated to making the community and unit the best it can possibly be Friendly and has a sense of humor We do not expect all of our applicants to be Arma veterans. I am not quite sure of how US credit cards work, but here's how it goes for me. I have bank issued credit card with a fixed amount of money on it which I can spend as I like and deposit them back with no interest at all as long as I do the payment by the given date and no later than that (I can also purchase stuff on installments with no interest). It holds 6.270 (that's the maximum amount on it) and the current amount is 1.938,89 (I have a fixed 508,25 payment each month for a cellphone I bought last winter and to that amount we add whatever amount I use during the month). Am I supposed to create a new account in YNAB for line of credit/credit card, set the target to the maximum amount my card can hold and then set the current amount then work my way to the amount it can hold? How do I register the purchases I make with it? Thank you for your time.

Dear FIAT USA:
Last year I purchased a used 2014 FIAT 500L with less than 60,000 miles on it. In the year I’ve owned it, I’ve experienced the following failures that have needed repair:
· Turbo failure
· Headliner sag / adhesive failure
· Exterior paint clear-coat failure
· Neutral safety switch Failure
· Rear hatch latch failure
· Alarm system programming failure
· Tire pressure monitoring system module failure
· Multi-air brick failure
· Driver sun visor failure (stalk became brittle, snapped)
· Passenger sun visor tension failure
· Rear license plate light assembly failure
· Coolant system component failure
The last of the latter listed failures (I’m sitting here thinking there HAS TO BE at least one other thing I’ve missed on that long distinguished list) required radiator replacement as well as upper and lower radiator hose replacement. Unfortunately, the upper radiator hose, part number 68261751AA, is on indefinite backorder as it has been for months. My car has likewise been undriveable for months as it requires said part to be operational again.
It’s one thing to make vehicles that are of low-quality, such low quality that the cost of repairing this vehicle far exceeds the (roughly) $10,000 I paid for it in only a year’s time. Places like Jiffy Lube won’t even touch a FIAT, not even for a simple oil change! Some extended warranty companies won’t even sell a policy covering these vehicles; is it a wonder why?
I had to go out and buy a second car while still continuing to may payments on this 2014 FIAT 500L, thus mandating I make two car payments in lieu of one that I can barely afford (thus why I bought the car in the first place, as valuation on used FIATs are understandably depressed as compared to other makes here) just so the 500L can sit for God knows how long in the dealer’s satellite lot and rot away under a tree while it futility awaits FIAT to ship a radiator hose. You’d think one would be able to use a generic radiator hose but no: that hose was made to be specific for that car such that I cannot even substitute a generic because of a fitting specific to the model! You have to be kidding me!

Last year I purchased a used 2014 FIAT 500L with less than 60,000 miles on it. In the year I’ve owned it, I’ve experienced the following failures that have needed repair:
· Turbo failure
· Headliner sag / adhesive failure
· Exterior paint clear-coat failure
· Neutral safety switch Failure
· Rear hatch latch failure
· Alarm system programming failure
· Tire pressure monitoring system module failure
· Multi-air brick failure
· Driver sun visor failure (stalk became brittle, snapped)
· Passenger sun visor tension failure
· Rear license plate light assembly failure
· Coolant system component failure
The last of the latter listed failures (I’m sitting here thinking there HAS TO BE at least one other thing I’ve missed on that long distinguished list) required radiator replacement as well as upper and lower radiator hose replacement. Unfortunately, the upper radiator hose, part number 68261751AA, is on indefinite backorder as it has been for months. My car has likewise been undriveable for months as it requires said part to be operational again.

So me and my friend applied for Schengen visa to France. They got theirs done from London and I got mine from Manchester. They had to look for appointments for a week before securing a slot whereas I only had to look two-three days for mine and it’s definitely because London is likely more busy than Manchester (which is precisely why I chose Manchester). This was the only stressful part, after which the process went by quickly and we both got our visa today! They got theirs earlier than mine but they picked up their passport later, whereas mine got delivered to me. The entire process got done within 10 days, which leaves us ample time to pack and head for our holidays!

I went to Europe in October and declared my items per the law because I bought some big-ticket items; Cartier, Gucci, Diptyque etc and I kept the boxes. I told customs that it was a little over 1500-2k (low balling it) thinking that they'll have me pay at the window, but I got flagged for more screening. It was only 3 of us over there out of huge flight from Paris. I was thinking...there's no way none of these people bought anything from Europe. Maybe Customs thought I was acting suspicious, or maybe everyone else was better prepared? Anyways, after 45 mins of waiting, and going through my stuff, they taxed me on the highest items and let the small stuff slide. They were "nice" about it, I guess. It was about 100 dollars, but I was more annoyed that I was holding up my friend and my friend's husband (our ride). Not to mention that I was in the front of the line because of Global Entry and was literally the last person leaving the terminal.

Hello , I am someone who played the game when it went global (some friends told me to play it) so ive seen multiple designs which looked ... Yeah (old Pam for example or jessie ) . Also I quit after the Janet brawl pass
I never really hated new brawlers designs or their gameplay because it was a something new fun and exciting although we received some abominations in the process like day 1 Rosa ( I will never forget the terror she was)
First tho I will say some characters who have good gameplay but bad design (THIS IS MY OPINION I DO NOT HARASS YOU IF YOU PLAY OR MAIN THAT CHARACTER , I have to say that because reddit is reddit)(Also I DO NOT harass the game designers these are my opinions on how a character should look like for their gameplay or a design I dont like because of my personal opinion)
Starting off with Edgar: Imagine a character who heals himself with every auto attack and has an ultimate(Super) which makes him jump from the shadows and strike you down , that sounds like a cool vampire and you can make him Mortis brother or something but no, instead we got an emo boy who hits you with his scarf? And his hands are like pencils? Wasted potential on the design part
Second for me is Cordelius : His shadow realm is what ruins it for me because ,I think if someone can take you to another dimension should look badass and intimidating , basically looking like someone who can overwhelm you by his strength alone, but instead it's a mushroom addict?
Those are two but now I want to talk about Charlie and Melodie , I think those two characters are badly designed down to the gameplay and they are kinda similar since they basically took Lola and said but what if .
Charlie she is Lola but with spiders and steals from people and can turn you into a cocoon? I know she uses spiders and things but I would much rather see that on a monster looking character . Her auto attack as well I dont like it ,you could give that to a kid like character who plays with yo-yo but you give it to someone who does shows and things and is a thief ?(Not saying her basic attack mechanic is not interesting) Also her design, she doesn't look like someone putting on performances she looks like a flying squirrel thing (please seatch it up they look so adorable tbh)
Melodie , Ahh man this character, Lola but what if she was a singer Her design is nothing exciting or interesting I feel nothing when looking at her design. Her gameplay yeah I don't like that either and find it boring, she is a tank that has long range but needs to be close to do meaningful damage and has 3 darryl dashes but those things move as fast if not faster than stu and can stock up 3 of those bad boys , she doesn't have anything flashy that would make you feel like you are playing a singer .
I do think that her gameplay can make her a balance nightmare just like the previous mentioned Charlie, basically someone you need to nerf to the ground because their kit is fundamentally broken so their numbers need go be worse than the average brawler
I know I yapped a LOT but I find it such an interesting topic of discussion because lets be real most brawl stars content is gameplay and talking about designs or the game in general is something rare to find (because if you say something bad about the characters or the game people will complain , ofc something reasonable not like "AHH SUPERCELL NEEDS TO GIVE US 10000000 GEMS EVERY UPDATE")
So what's your opinion I would love to discuss more about it

A few years ago I started cutting our one neighbors grass after her husband died. She pays me a small but fair amount, $25. They're basically family to us, 60yo woman, adult daughter and her 6yo who she has joint custody of. They're not the problem.
The next year after I started cutting Neighbor 1s grass, her next door neighbors son passed away and then her husband six months after that. Neighbor 2 seen me cutting 1s grass and asked if I could do her lawn too. Knowing her situation and her being old and not working I agreed to for again a small fee, $35. Since the yards were connected and I had an old riding mower I figured I cut all the grass at once, mine included and I make an extra $50 a week for mowing grass.
Neighbor 2 has a small above ground pool. A family friend was taking care of it, poorly. So the next year they asked me if I could because you guessed it, I too have a pool. I got an extra $15 for putting chemicals in the pool and vacuuming as needed. This got me up to $50 a week from Neighbor 2 plus the $25 from neighbor 1.
A few weeks ago Neighbor 2 passed away. She has a roommate who lived in the house, basement apartment with her adult mentally disabled daughter. Supposedly Neighbor 2 left the house to her BFF with the stipulation the roommate got to stay since she renovated the basement apartment a few years back when the husband and son died so they could all live together and care for one another.
So this year Neighbor 1 pays me $30 and Neighbor 2 pays $40 because hey inflation and gas prices. With the money I made off them I bought a new Zero Turn riding mower, something I would not have been able to afford without the side hustle of cutting grass.
My wife has been telling me to cut ties all together with Neighbor 2 or demand a real payment for the grass cutting like $60. I also have two boys who sometimes help me to get it done faster but my oldest just got a part time job, but obviously school will be out in a few weeks. My intention of cutting a few yards was to get work for these boys on our street so they could make a few bucks.
Neighbor 2 has the friend who's son half assed the pool a few years back but now they're telling me they don't think he would be available to open the pool because his wife is dying of cancer. I told neighbor 2 I would possibly keep taking care of the pool next year (this summer now) if their family friend opened and closed it.
Neighbor 2, the roommate texted me today asking if I would be opening the pool because family friends wife is very ill. I haven't responded yet.
In addition to my wife telling me to stop being the nice guy and let them pay a real company to handle the pool, I don't think they can afford it. I know, sucks to be them, but I understand the situation and genuinely feel bad and want to be helpful but my time is valuable too so I get her point. Part of me honestly wants nothing to do with the pool. I kinda want to tell them that and say I'll keep cutting the grass but the responsibility of the pool is just too much for me. My oldest doesn't help with ours and I don't trust him enough to put him in charge of their pool and just pay him.
I'm kinda lost over this entire situation. I'm kinda over it too but don't want to be the asshole here.
