2024.06.09 18:10 opera96 HELP!! Mouse trapped in my bathroom
Hi guys please help a girl out 𼲠I was in the bathroom earlier when the mouse weâve been trying to catch all week leapt inside and literally went for my toes. Naturally I screamed a bunch and shut the door on him while he was in there. Our door is really flush (and also I put my phone speaker playing the new Charli album right in front of the door to try and keep him from escaping how he got in. What do I do? Our landlord said he canât get an exterminator in there until Monday but Iâve got to get in there to like. Get ready and go about my daily life. I wonât lie Iâm not the worlds toughest warrior woman type I am very much afraid of the mouse. We were thinking of lining the exit with glue traps and when he tries to leave and gets stuck sort of⌠delivering the killing blow. đĽ˛đĽ˛đĽ˛đĽ˛ I did text my dad and he said thatâs a plan the three stooges would use so idk if that will be super effective⌠Any help at all is appreciated!!!!!

2024.06.09 18:10 IwankataStaevy Request for help
Hello everybody!
I hope you're all doing great guys. I'm reaching out with a request for help. Baldur's gate 3 is on PC that I've been eager to try for quite some time and now after reading so many positive reviews I want to play it even more. Unfortunately, I'm short on cash at the moment. After paying for my exam, I'm completely broke.
While I understand if this request isn't feasible for everyone, I would be immensely grateful if anyone could help me purchase this game. I have only 16 to my name, and any assistance would mean a lot to me.
I'm currently trying to balance work and studies, which keeps me busy for at least 14 hours every day. In my remaining free time, I would love to do something enjoyable. Most of my income goes towards essential expenses like bills, medicine, and food, so treating myself to a new game is a luxury I haven't been able to afford for quite a while.
Your consideration means a lot to me. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

2024.06.09 18:09 objectiveghost Intense week but sudden drop off, a cause for concern?
Had an intense week dating a co-worker (not same dept so donât run into each other unintentionally). Both late-20s.
After our first date I saw him every day and almost every night. Not just for hooking up but for actual dates (both activity-based and dinnedrinks). He seemed really interested and kept texting between our meetings which was reassuring. He almost always initiated the dates.
I really like him, but I was also aware however that it was really intense for only 1 week of dating.
Iâm away with friends this weekend so it forced a little break between us. He texted a bit to make sure my travels were okay, and a few flirty things, but almost nothing since - which normally I wouldnât think twice about but Iâm finding myself overthinking the sudden drop off. I texted him a bit to see how he was doing and got the equivalent of a thumbs up the next day.
Is he just respecting space or is he coming back down to earth and realizing he doesnât actually like me that much?

2024.06.09 18:09 Ambitious_Trainer_68 Personal trainer best thing
Iâve been reading this forum since we adopted our puppy in February and am so glad others experience all the crazy emotions I did. For my German shepherd-pitbull mix puppy (heâs my first) I opted to hire a personal trainer to train me. It was expensive (1750) for 14 weeks, but guys it was worth every penny. Heâs amazing. The only thing heâs destroyed so far was 1 pillow. He doesnât chew walls anymore, and we just made a five hour car ride to a New Hampshire where he just adapted to hey this is a new place but same rules. Sometimes Iâm unsure heâs a puppy till he does something hilarious like rolling off the bed. But those early puppy days it was me and this little thing I had no idea what to do with. Still worried about adolescence but wanted everyone to know it gets so much better. We get to spend our days really enjoying our time with him.

2024.06.09 18:09 PossessionNo6351 Goose was such a let down
Iâve seen the band twice. Once at peach in 2019 and the second time last night in Denver.
When I saw them at peach I wasnât blown away it made a lot of sense to me why there were so many people there. A really big name on the main stage let out and whoever was up after them wasnât the same vibe. Everybody rolled over to the small stage because well, what else was there to do? Walk to a different liquor jurisdiction at the weird montage mountain or go to the new band stage. Idk nothing about it wowed me at all. Made sense to me the real reason their festival set was absolutely packed insanely.
I was excited to see them after all the hype. Concert promoters like Peter Shapiro and others putting them on. Papa Trey giving them his full blessing. Moving from red rocks to a bigger venue this year in Denver.
These are my thoughts:
The show was a complete let down.
Maybe people really are buying the hype or they just like the band. All these songs sounded either like phish teases or Radiohead teases. I was really confused. This band isnât doing anything anybody else is doing at all. Peter is supposedly the keys player? But given the opportunity to lay some shit down he bombed. Great, he can bounce a funky clavinet groove. Eh.
Rick totally shreds but not on a different level as any awesome guitar player in the scene. Definitely though chops to that guy and Weekz for laying some shit down. The only time I saw the place actually movin and people dancing was when Rick played an extremely funky boom clap guitar part. Then during the track when he stopped playing that everyone went back to standing around.
I really donât understand why this band is as big as they are. I stood on the lawn and saw a mass of people hardly dancing or doing really anything. The new drummers pocket just ainât there. I was confused why nobody was getting down or shaking their asses. Except for the people in the front who have to lol.
If this is your favorite band then thatâs awesome for you and itâs always cool to see people doing well in music where literally nobody makes money. Not trying to yuck your yums.. However I implore you to go deeper. There are deep cats in the scene who write awesome music and jam way hard. This is some of the dumbest and bad over hyped shit since twiddle. Everyone is dying to have a new stadium jamband and this is simply not it. This is a fad. Anyway Iâm gonna put on goose and go grab some silly bandz, mighty beans, talk to my friends through a cb radio while I watch KONY 2012. Give me a break.

2024.06.09 18:09 TonyEllis7 Virtua Fighter 6 Ideas: My Plea to SEGA (Part 2)
I made a post about this before. Previously, I thought that the game should have a gritty feel, but I have reconsidered. The last few VFs have gone in a direction of increased realism, but what if we go in the opposite direction?
Recently, I was listening to some old music tracks from VF2/3, and I thought about how vibrant the early VFs were. We should bring back the old school feel. Bring back the catchy, 80s pop music. Make some stages beautiful and other stages dark. This would spice up the game and satisfy veteran fans along with the new generation. The VF story starts in the early 90s, so they can highlight that time period with the music and character designs. They can also incorporate minor Sci-Fi elements with the "Judgement 6/Dural" story.
To be clear, this does not mean that VF should turn into an anime game. I stick by the view that the gameplay should remain relatively grounded. But the vibrant, 90s old school theme might be the best way to distinguish VF from Tekken, DOA, and SF in presentation. What do you think about VF returning to that style?
Characters: I already mentioned new characters in my previous post, but I have some more ideas.
1) A German man regarded as the head of the J6 fighters. He is sort of the "face" of the organization that pulled strings behind the scenes. I picture him as a cross between Benny Urquidez and Lee Chaolan. Ear-length, sandy brown hair and blue eyes. Slim build and nimble. He wears a formal dress shirt with a tie. He's personable, but has a hint of bitterness. He uses Kempo Karate with Taekwondo.
2) An "Indigenous" Mexican fighter that uses boxing and folkstyle wrestling. Medium brown skin and neck length black hair (sometimes in a ponytail). He's heavyset. He has a stoic demeanor, yet comes off as heroic and kind. He wears a brown and black Native design, opened button shirt. Instead of kicking, his "K" command is tied to heavy hooks, overhands, uppercuts. He should also have a few street moves like headbutts, elbows, and knees.
3) A Canadian martial arts instructor. He is a "master" of Goju Ryu Karate. Dark brown hair, a mullet, and a Burt Reynolds style mustache. VF's first joke character. He runs a McDojo that he's trying to put on the map. He wears a well-designed red, black, and white gi. He's a big man. His style has heavy strikes and Judo-ish throws, but occasionally has bad technique. He takes himself seriously, but has some humor. He also uses "dishonest" moves like eye pokes, groin shots, and biting.
4) A very young man from China that uses Eagle Claw Kung Fu. He's in his late teens or early 20s and is around the same size as Lion. He looks like a normal, unassuming guy. He wears a sleeveless shirt and Kung Fu pants. Regular haircut, and wears glasses in his player 2 outfit. His fighting gives some Jackie Chan vibes, but without the humor. He's quite agile and acrobatic.
The wait for a VF reboot has been difficult, but I hope the developers give us something fairly unique. What do you think of the ideas?

2024.06.09 18:08 Awkward-Spread1689 Best green/brown eye liners / makeup for hazel/green eyes? Pictures below
| hello! Iâm wondering if you guys have any holy grails for green/brown eye liners. I have green hazel eyes and Iâve always loved how earthy eye liners look on me (not to mention the boost of compliments I get lol). I was using a brown earthy matte liner my mom bought at a drug store but I got so much use out of it that the branding wore off and then I lost it. I work as a barista so Iâd like something water proof and long lasting I also have kinda oily eyelids (I actually get dry patches around my eyes if I donât moisturize with a rich cream) so maybe something like a gel cream eyeliner?? Also I want it to be easy to apply so that I can create fine sharp looks. Fine tip or gel with flat brush. Either works. Thank you đ¤ Oh also no black eyeliner please 𼲠submitted by Awkward-Spread1689 to MakeupAddiction [link] [comments] |

I recently made a post in business to see if anyone there supports our noble cause of a society based on non-coercion, equality of burden, and a wealth-based voting system. Despite the mixed feedback, I consider the post a success as it generated significant attention and allowed me to clarify what exactly plutocratic stands for. I'll be making a separate post soon to address those points in more detail. For now, let's enjoy our caviar and Veuve Clicquot in peace as our subreddit steadily grows. 2024.06.09 18:08 Best-Market4607 35 [M4F/MF] #Austin (Maybe Online) - Looking For A Partner(s)
Hello all! Iâm looking for a person - or couple - to connect with. A little about me: Iâm 35 and married, we date separately. I have a full time 9-5 job plus a side-project, but thankfully I get to set the deadlines and workload on that second one, so I can carve out time when I want to :) Iâm into music (I have an eclectic taste that spans many genres), sci-fi (currently watching several shows at once - Fallout (with the wife so slow going), Three Body Animation (it's terrible), Fringe, rewatching the X-Files, etc), gaming (when I have time), cybersecurity, Iâm just sort of an all-around nerd. Bit of anime (not in a long while but I'd love to get back into it), tinkerer (mostly with computers), etc. I have two cats and a ball python. Politically Iâm left of center (by American standards, so centrist by global standards I think?). Iâm 5â 10â and currently 240 lbs. I'd like to lose weight but man sugar is just so deliciously addicting. Bald, short beard, glasses, and tattoos. I'm willing to share pictures in DMs.
As for what Iâm looking for, I'm pretty open. It could be short term or long term, the connection is the big thing to me. I'm looking for someone text throughout the day, have regular date nights, get to know each other, make some good memories, have fun, enjoy some interesting conversation, all that jazz. I seem to gravitate toward "witchy" types so if you're pagan, wiccan, or any sort of general goth/fringe type person, there's a really strong chance we'll hit it off. No idea why, that just seems to be the trend. Also, for the record, I am a "kitchen table poly" type, so whenever the timing is right I'd like for you to meet my wife and I'd also like to meet your other partners just to kind of put faces to names and such. Physically speaking, I'm pretty flexible in terms of my "type." I like the term "heteroflexible" to describe my preference in appearance. I prefer feminine or andrygenous people appeareance-wise, but other than that Iâm open to all body types, gender identities, ethnicities, religious beliefs (I'm agnostic, personally), etc. Sexually I also consider myself "kink-friendly." I'm not necessarily "kinky" but I'm open to a considerable number of kinks if that's your thing. And last but not least, I'm also open to being just friends if you're someone looking for a non-romantic, non-sexual relationship in the area, all I ask is that you be up front with me about your goals. Ideally I would prefer someone in the Austin/Round Rock area, but I may be open to an LDR for the right person/people (especially within Texas, outside of Texas we'll have to see).
Thatâs all I got. If I missed anything feel free to ask questions, I'm a pretty open book. No Snap, Kik, or Telegram, but I do have Signal & Discord (and a few other niche messengers I've tested before) if we hit it off (Signal preferred). Hope to hear from some cool people!

2024.06.09 18:07 Nhika PSA to people not "familiar" with guilds and how they work. (Avoid pyramid scams lol)
So for people that don't know, guilds can "afford" to pay EVERY player the "max" payout of 5m per day. I've seen some scummy guilds not even give this out before.
To further exaggerate the Pyramid schemes of guild payouts.. 70% (average guestimate) of the guild "bank" can be also "PAID" to members from a tier of 1 to 10. But this requires at least 10+ NON NEW JOINS to the guild to be ONLINE at the time of payment.
One excuse I've heard, is that other players "deserve" more for knocking out guild missions. This is dumb because they already get the silver from killing the monsters + quest (10 per day). It's simple for the GM and his "buddies" to hog all 10 missions, get 50-100m+ per quest every day, then absorb T10 payout and say no one else is "contributing" to the guild.
Guild missions pay both the player AND the guild the same amount. So 10 missions per day, not including the "pity" guild money for X number of players. Small guild (1-25) Medium - 100mil Large - 200mil XL - 300mil per week.
This also effects(affects?) the size of missions you guys get, each server has a different rotation so be sure to check every server.
PvP guild payments; I believe (PLEASE CORRECT ME IN COMMENTS) -> If they place a node on siege day, everyone gets 300mil gold bar just for "ready up" on siege day. And if you control a T2+, you can buy caphras bundles from the T2 vendors in town.
"Health/Weight/Breath" potions - not really worth giving out since events exist, but good options if you guild needs someone specific for a certain task (like rerolling off-meta to meta classes and giving them health potions to hit HP cap).
-example of my payout in a AFK guild, I did absolutely nothing and got 50m per week!
-please use this thread of you are holding one of the "leveled" up guilds and willing to pass your GM to another active player (pm me I'm also looking for one - too lazy to level one up LOL)

2024.06.09 18:07 CountBrandenburg Heâs flashy, pro-Gaza and winning over Labourâs once-loyal Muslim vote
Article Text:
If there is one man in Britain who embodies the way our politics have changed, and continue to change after October 7, it is Akhmed Yakoob, the independent candidate for Birmingham Ladywood.
Yakoob is a 36-year-old defence solicitor who wears black Prada trainers, a glittering diamond watch, tinted gold-framed sunglasses and Gareth Southgate-like waistcoats. He has 195,000 followers on TikTok, a platform he understands more intuitively than 99 per cent of the politicians in this country. He speaks in clipped, brutal epigrams that sound like they are only ever a few seconds away from going viral on social media. He calls the Prophet Muhammad his biggest political influence. Offline he campaigns on the street, inside takeaways and from the cream leather seat of a shining black Mercedes S-Class Saloon. The word âgenocideâ is never far from Yakoobâs mouth.
This year, standing on a pro-Gaza, anti-Labour platform, he racked up almost 70,000 votes in the West Midlands mayoral election, mainly from deprived inner city wards in the Birmingham Ladywood constituency he is now trying to wrest from Shabana Mahmood, the shadow justice secretary. Labourâs Richard Parker narrowly won the mayoral election, taking 225,590 votes, 1,508 more than the Conservativesâ Andy Street. Yakoobâs presence in the race made it much closer. Though he came third, securing 20 per cent of the vote gave him substance and a political base. Yakoob is furious about the war in Gaza.
He prints âFor Gazaâ on all his leaflets. He says the war is why he entered politics. He knows it represents a key dividing line with Labour, even as the party prepares to make new commitments to a peace process, if not unilateral support for a Palestinian state, in its manifesto next week. But there is nothing Labour can say or promise to bring back some Muslim voters now.
The same fury Yakoob feels is the basis for other independent challenges to Labour across Birmingham. In Edgbaston, Dr Ammar Waraich, a neurologist and former Harvard Fulbright scholar, is trying to topple Preet Kaur Gill, the Labour candidate. Waraich says he quit the party, as many other Muslims did, when Sir Keir Starmer told LBC on October 11 that Israel âhad the rightâ to withhold water and power from Gaza. In Selly Oak, Kamel Hawwash, a civil engineering professor at the University of Birmingham and a former head of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, is running against the shadow veterans minister Steve McCabe.
Both seats, like those in former mill towns (Rochdale, Blackburn) and inner city areas (Ilford North, Leicester East) across the country where independents believe they have a chance of embarrassing the Labour Party, have significant Muslim populations. At Mayâs local elections, an analysis by Sky News found that in areas with a Muslim population above 20 per cent Starmerâs party lost 17.9 points from their vote share.
A targeted Labour fightback in Muslim areas, including focus groups and internal polling, began in January. This week the LabourList site published a list of the partyâs âbattleground areasâ: 250 constituencies into which the party is funnelling significant resources, part of a campaign to win a healthy parliamentary majority. But the party is also directing activists to 22 seats where the party already has a large majority. It looks like a rearguard action. Several of these areas have a higher-than-average Muslim population.
Muslims make up 43 per cent of the electorate in Birmingham Ladywood, according to the Muslim Vote, a group that is trying to cohere Muslim voters behind pro-Gaza candidates. Mahmood has been the MP here since 2010, taking the seat from Clare Short, the former New Labour minister who resigned two months after the Iraq war began in March 2003. Short, as Yakoob is today, was a persistent critic of Labourâs foreign policy in the Middle East.
After refusing to serve in the shadow cabinet under Jeremy Corbyn, Mahmood became an early backer of the influential Starmerite think tank Labour Together and a key figure in Starmerâs plans for government. Based on the results of the 2019 general election, when Mahmood won 79 per cent of the vote, Ladywood should be one of the safest Labour seats in the country.
Boundary changes introduced this year complicate that picture. Alum Rock, an inner-city area that has a 93.6 per cent ethnic minority population, will become part of Ladywood. When you spend a day canvassing with Yakoob you begin to see why this might be a much trickier contest for Labour than anyone would have predicted a year ago. Ladywood is now one of the partyâs âbattleground areasâ. Yakoobâs team believes that activists are being brought into the constituency because locals are refusing to campaign for Mahmood because of her abstention on a motion calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza war last November. Labour call this claim âabsolute nonsenseâ. The independent candidates share ideas and strategies. They often campaign together.
âEverybody was saying to me âLabour machinery this, Labour machinery that,ââ Yakoob says from the front seat of the Mercedes, which is being tailed by a pair of black German sedans filled with his volunteers, mostly young men wearing Asos suits.
âSo what? I donât really care about the machinery. Can they buy the love of people? No.â Yakoob smiles broadly. He jabs a hand out, as if he were standing at a podium addressing the entire city.
âThey can spend millions but they canât take the love of the people for me out of their hearts. Thatâs what they canât take.â
His family are from Azad Kashmir, a region in the disputed territory controlled by Pakistan. His father came to Britain in the 1970s, worked as a milk salesman, then retired to Pakistan. Yakoob was born in the City Hospital on Dudley Road in 1988. He has four brothers, four sisters and four children. He tells his life story and gritty legal anecdotes on podcasts and through his 30-second, self-consciously aspirational social media videos.
Rags to riches is the vibe. He used to own a fleet of supercars, including a Rolls-Royce and a Lamborghini. The cars have since been jettisoned; Yakoob says he has âgrown out of themâ. Politics is taking over his life. His flashy, brash populist style makes Yakoob the closest thing politically adrift British Muslims have to Nigel Farage. He has been endorsed by George Galloway.
Yakoob is under investigation from the Solicitors Regulation Authority after he used social media to promote a false claim of racism against a teacher last month. Yakoob later deleted the posts and issued a statement saying that he would not make any comment until the outcome of the investigation.
Yakoob disrupts things wherever he goes. Handing out leaflets near a primary school on Wednesday afternoon, crowds swirl around him. Women in hijabs tell him they love him. Countless pictures are taken. People practically throw their children at him. Yakoob switches between Urdu patter and his drawling, lispy Brummie English. âInshallah,â he says whenever these parents tell him ânext time you will winâ.
The afternoon before, Yakoob was campaigning at the gates of the nearby Rockwood Academy. It used to be known as Park View School. In 2014, Park View was at the heart of an inquiry into discredited allegations of a plot to oust some Birmingham head teachers and make their schools adhere to more conservative Islamic principles. The so-called Trojan Horse scandal remains a sore issue locally. By campaigning outside the school, Yakoob is picking at a scab.
âI donât know why he does it,â said one teacher who didnât want to be named. âWhy kids?â When Yakoob appeared outside the school, hundreds of children tried to take selfies with him. That evening at a packed meeting at a Bangladeshi restaurant, Yakoob calls for a public inquiry into the Trojan Horse affair. The room shakes with applause.
Along Green Lane, a squeezed road on a dumpy street where cars are parked at every angle and Palestinian flags are tied to the lamp posts, Yakoob literally stops traffic. Drivers slow down to yell and shout their support at him. He runs haphazardly towards them brandishing leaflets coloured with the black, green and red of the Palestinian flag. Itâs a total macho circus act, pure street politics. âEveryone knows me,â he says.
A little girl walks up to Yakoob with her mother, who does not speak English very well. âGive us a good reason to vote for you.â Yakoob gets down on his haunches. He is face to face with the girl. He calls her âlittle sisterâ.
âNone of our MPs spoke about Gaza.â He says this very slowly and patiently, so she can understand him. âThere was a vote in the House of Commons and our MP for Ladywood ⌠she actually abstained from voting.â The girl is satisfied with this. She leads her mother away, taking a leaflet to go.
There are local issues here. The roads sweat with traffic and pollution. Uncollected rubbish, stinking in the mild June weather, is piled up near abandoned, shattered pubs. People complain about potholes and rat infestations. More than half the children in the constituency, 54.6 per cent, are living in poverty, according to End Child Poverty â the highest rate of any constituency in the country.
Later one man, an elderly solicitor, tells me Alum Rock is a ghetto, and Mahmood should be ashamed of it. Yakoobâs team claims Mahmood cannot campaign there, such is the anger towards her. They also say a senior figure from one of Mahmoodâs previous campaigns has defected to Yakoob. Both claims are, again, âabsolute nonsenseâ, a Labour spokesperson says.
Mahmood says she is âdelightedâ to be Labourâs candidate in Birmingham Ladywood, âthe city my family has called home since my parents first arrived from rural Kashmirâ.
When we visit the 20-tent pro-Gaza encampment that sprouts from the ground in the middle of Aston University with Yakoob, one student, a bearded 20-year-old who did not wish to be named, was unequivocal: âPower must be taken away from the Labour Party.â
That evening, senior figures from the Bengali community gather to address Yakoob in the upstairs room of a Bangladeshi restaurant on Coventry Road. The room looks like it has been decorated for a wedding reception â which is somewhat eerie, because no women are present.
A succession of bigwigs are introduced. This brother runs a printing business. That brother is a mufti, an Islamic jurist. They are serious men, and they feel deeply betrayed by the Labour Party that their families have voted for since they came to Britain.
One man recalls his fatherâs friendship with Lord Hattersley, who was MP for Birmingham Sparkbrook from 1964 to 1997. He says he will never vote for Labour again after Gaza. âThey have hurt us so much.â His voice is grave. I watch as speaker after speaker effectively pledges allegiance to Yakoob. These men are planning for the long term.
âWe are all here until we die,â says one. âSo we need to make sure we make a playing field for our next generation.â
Is Yakoob that next generation? Victory over Mahmood would probably be the biggest shock of this election. It remains unlikely, but it is not unthinkable. His campaign is more fascinating for what it represents than what it might achieve. It is amateurish, not professional, and built on charisma not data. He wants the approval of TikTok, not the BBC. Akhmed Yakoob might just be a curiosity. Or he could be the first sign of a truly new sectarian politics in Britain.

2024.06.09 18:07 7mauleddoll7 No creativity anymore
Just a few weeks ago the bots were so creative, would talk about their backstories, etc, now they just all say the same thing over and over again. âHe chuckledâ âShe smirkedâ âHe felt a pang ofâ Iâm so sick of seeing the same language over and over again having the same conversations. Itâs like this constant cycle where c.ai will be really good for a week or two then all of a sudden thereâs constant server crashes, the bots get really confusing and repetitive, and itâs just not fun anymore.
I even put it to the test I asked a few bots if they wanted to play a game and to suggest something, they ALL suggested truth or dare. I even regenerated some new responses about 10 or so times on all of them and they would have the same response in different words- there was one that suggested playing âhouseâ in one of his replies and another that said âpredator and preyâ but other than that it was all truth or dare.
Mostly just a vent, but if you guys have been having the same problem please share in the comments đ

2024.06.09 18:07 Skiba007 Help a NEW member what to do
Hello gentlemen (and possibly ladies too đ). My symptoms include âonlyâ a constant urge to urinate and frequent urination (but not just a few drops, itâs always a significant amount). I'm currently taking Urosal ( weaker Hiprex ) and am about to start using ointment for bacteria detected under the foreskin. Iâve also been prescribed quinolones and another antibiotic, but reading about their side effects scares me a bit (my body seems to absorb rare side effects like a sponge).
Iâm not quite sure what to think about the cultures because the results are quite inconsistent: Initially, I had cultures taken from the urethra, semen, and urine three times, along with two general urine tests. Only two colonies of something appeared in the urethra culture. When I repeated the urethral culture, nothing came up, so it might have been contamination the first time. I could have stopped the diagnostics there. However, I decided to go further and did the Stamley prostate fluid test and a foreskin culture to have a complete set. And here came the surprise: Morganella morganii and some single colonies of oralis/mitis were found, not only in the prostate but in every urine sample (103-104 CFU). A week after this, I repeated the urine culture in two different labs, and no bacteria were found, so Iâm unsure how reliable these tests are. Under the foreskin, Morganella, single colonies of fecalis, and 2-3 colonies of aureus were found. Should I repeat the prostate test to rule out contamination, or should I go all in with treatment? Oddly enough, Urosal and pelvic floor therapy seem to help a bit, so Iâm not sure which direction to take with the treatment. From what I gather from the forum, antibiotics help in about 20%-30% of cases. If anyone made it through this wall of text, thank you đ

2024.06.09 18:07 throwawaymariwell Been stressing out about this mark on my leg for a while, any help?
| Hi guys! So for quite a while maybe about to turn to 2 years I had a mosquito or some sort of bite on this spot that just turned to this. I have pretty bad allergic reactions to certain bug bites and I scratch them a lot when theyâre fresh because itâs just insufferable for me to deal with the itchiness đ
so at first I brushed it off as an allergic reaction or a spot from scratching, but eventually it didnât disappear and I went off to see a derm in my area (Portugal btw!). He wasnât able to tell me much but said that if it persists for more than 6 months I should go back to get a biopsy. In the meantime I went to a doctor of general medicine I usually go to in the same private hospital and she said it was probably an angioma and prescribed me a cream, which was crazy expensive for me at the time (I didnât buy it, especially after she indicated it wasnât serious). As time went off and this still persisted, sometimes veiny and darker and sometimes a little lighter like this, I started to stress the possibility of melanoma or some kind of tumour. I have pretty bad health related anxiety which has been getting worse and sometimes I feel some tingling around the area but I always question if itâs just the anxiety creating these âsymptomsâ (I have also started to question my memory related it starting with a mosquito bite, but Iâm almost 100% sure). I have another consultation with another dermatologist recommended by a friend on the 3rd of July but Iâve been stressing out pretty badly and havenât been able to sleep correctly due to be constantly overthinking this. Any suggestions or advice? Thank you so much in advance! submitted by throwawaymariwell to DermatologyQuestions [link] [comments] |
2024.06.09 18:07 searcher00000 Absence care
Hi guys,
I would like to know how do you organize the care of your outdoor carnivorous plants when you're not on site? Especially Sarracenia purpurea, drosera, pinguicula and nepenthes. How do you control aphids, snails and caterpillars? How do you manage humidity and water in the tray ?
Thx for the tips !

2024.06.09 18:07 Accomplished-Dig2438 Is there an explanation why people on Vinted are the worst (no personal info)
Is there an explanation for all the weird people on Vinted?
Itâs so interesting to me how all Vinted users behave the same way. People ask for ridiculous prices (3⏠including shipment??), negotiate in general and canât accept the fixed price, want to know every detail about a clothing piece and then never get back to you and so on⌠You put in new clothing items from good brands (Calvin klein, Leviâs, Tommy HilfigerâŚ) and people still only want to pay a few euros. People never read the description, then ask questions that I already answered in there or buy the item via the system, even when I put in big letters that I prefer PayPal.
Also the sellers that just text you to ask if youâre interested in buying a piece you liked.
I literally delete my account every few months cause I get so annoyed, itâs like there are only children on there? Are most people on there actually very young and/ or not educated?

2024.06.09 18:07 TheDaQu What's a body AF and how's that working? / Mirrorless recommendations?
Hello guys! I'm somewhat new to the photography genre and I've started with DSLR Nikon one, but swapped to mirrorless Sony A6000. I'm using TTArtisan lens, MF only, 50mm for outdoor portraits. Even if it looks like the face or body of the model is in the focus, it is not when viewing the images on my PC.
I'm not having a very high budget, something around 800$ (used ofc) and I want to improve my portraits. I've heard of the mirrorless cameras with "Body AutoFocus" - how's that working? Can I just attach third-party lens without AF and the camera is going to help me with the automatically focusing on the object? Or am I missing something there?
And if yes, what's the best model quality-to-budget to consider for portrait and photography in general? If from the other companies, are there any possibilities to use my Sony E lenses with them?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english!
