2024.05.15 12:20 Quandalf [LW1] NEW SCOUT TREE (modding) - Watcha think?
Maybe gonna make a mod reworking the LW perk trees. Just a thing I like to do. Check out this SCOUT tree I came up with and gimme your opinion! In general the rework aims at having the class defining perks earier. In the case of the Scout: Hit&Run/ ITZ/ Conceal. (It makes the game a bit easier, oh my!) Basically you can use the defining tactics earlier and also better replace high level loses. Left side is the 'Marksmanrifle Flanking Scout' path Center is the 'ITZ Cleaner DMG Dealer' possibly rifle/ shotgun Right side 'the Concealment actual Scout' / light concealed Engineer I thought a lot about this and tested it out, so just looking for some feedback! Here's a crappy graph, below the detailed explanation: https://preview.redd.it/1xq4fvhz7k0d1.png?width=704&format=png&auto=webp&s=263d75f79cd99b62e64cdbaf2fffa21a206e9477 LCPL: Low Profile - Aggression - Smoke & Mirrors Right from the start you have to decide wether you go for coveflanking, crit/dmg or support/nades, the general direction of the build. CPL: Good Ground - Bring'em On - Battle Scanners This is basically a decicion between uber flanking dmg (for ITZ/HitRun) or Battle Scanners. If you really want the highest dmg - you have to go for a scout w/o scanners and nobody likes to do that. Damn Good Ground is here as a kinda niche stand-in: It synergizes very well with LowPro and the Marksmanrifle, since there's much low cover in heights and the Marksmanrifles has great range from up high. Turns the scout into a dedicated marksman sniper, the additional +10 def well appreciated. [Thought about making this a two-perk decision only, Bring'em and Scanners, better to leave Ground in as 3rd option tho.] SGT: Hit'n Run - In The Zone - Concealment Early the deciding perks. Why wait? 2000XP takes quite a while to reach. This is where the rubber meets the road, deciding the path of the scout, giving you access to basic tatcics earlier. TSGT: Opportunist - Deadeye - Tactical Sense Lvl 4 is rather weak, additonal perks, that synergize well with previous decisions. This way you maybe actually take Tactical Sense - which is a great perk for Scouts running overwatches. Opportunist is awesome with the Marksman rifle. Remember in LW it is the only gun that procs overwatch in squadsight. You'll love it! Deadeye is valuable for ITZ chains, so the damn flyers don't interrupt your chain and also low hp flyers (no cover) are prime ITZ clean-up targets. GSGT: Ranger - Extra Conditioning - Resilience A hard decision. All 3 perks are good for all builds. Sidearms proc with Hit&Run - which is why Ranger is on the Marksman side, although it is liked by ITZ scouts too for the additional +1dmg on the primary. Alone the 1 movement point of ExtraCon can be worth it for positoning & flanking. Especially since ITZs rather take Vital Targeting over Ranger in the next level and so you still get some speed this time. Resilience is always important especially for the risky business of concealment and also leads to a scout being able to do without the Chameleon Suit which basically gives one more slot. MSGT: Sprinter - Vital Targeting - Packmaster More movement more damage or more utility? This rounds the builds. Sprinter comes late but is aways worth it, for flanking shots, there-and-back Hit&Runs or just for extended concealed scouting on large UFO maps. Vital with +2 dmg on main and +1 on secondary is also nice for all builds, maybe essential for ITZ kills. Packmaster turns the Concealment Scout into a limited, covert engineer. Many battlecanners possible! You could carry 3 smokes, flashes and chems this way, if you leave motion trackers etc at home, but remember that engineers always have way more range from grenadier and bombard. I hope this makes the Concealed/ Supportgrenade scout build a real option even for impossible ironman runs. I packed in some punch in this tree and had to get rid of Flush, Holo and Lone Wolf for the new perks Resilience, Opportunist and Packmaster. Kind of a shame, especially for Holo which synergizes with Hit&Run, I personally won't miss it on a scout tho. Flush is weird with a Marksmanrifle and it is great in other builds, yet didn't do it for me on scouts who already have high aim. Lone Wolf is a great idea, I never took it tho, since overall it is too weak and too situational. It lost some ootions but overall this scout tree is much stronger. Check out what Casey wrote on Scouts on his substack btw: https://xcom.substack.com/p/long-war-class-builds-scout?utm_source=publication-search submitted by Quandalf to Xcom [link] [comments]
2024.05.15 11:39 pimp-shrimpura alleged history of schizophrenia in family? unclear but feeling… strange lately
this might be a lot and not the place for this but someone bear with me (22m) please ;_; was talking to my family about my experiences with magic mushrooms, and my grandfather (mom’s side) said something like “be careful, my brother had a schizophrenic episode after taking lsd- we found him rambling about the molecule and he had poorly drawn out a picture of the molecule on the ground.” but i don’t think there’s ever been a conversation about him having schizophrenia? anyway then he went on to ramble about the “this is your brain on drugs”/scrambled eggs commercials that would come on tv a long time ago. and given our family histories which i will elaborate on, i feel like this is a conversation that should have happened much sooner?? or maybe he was just talking out of his ass idk lmao
mental illness seems to run in the family on both sides with alcoholism being pretty prevalent in a lot of both my mom and dad’s relatives. my dad’s brother killed himself with a gun when they were in highschool and my dad found the body. ultimately he became a pretty abusive alcoholic, and he was really prone to mood swings looking back at it. I was put in therapy after my mom divorced him but we never really talked as a family. my older sister inherited his hip deformity that made him unfit for the catholic high school his brothers all went to, and a virus that caused her to have emergency surgery at birth (which left her deaf in both ears, and she stands 4’7” at 25 years old) he picked on her and our older brother a lot, and we all struggle socially. My brother kept to himself a lot until he died at 19 in a freak car accident on a road trip with his friends. Guy with dementia snuck out and got in a car with his dog at like 2am, took an exit ramp onto the highway going the wrong way right as they took the same one, spun out and all then all lights went out, so they got rear ended by a tractor trailer. that model of jeep had a defect where the trailer hitch would break and push in to the gas tank, causing an explosion. happened a couple times prior and was actually almost recalled years before (-: trucking company policy was call your superiors before anyone else, phone records reflected that phone call did in fact happen while those kids were burning to death. i dont blame that poor driver knowing what little i know about trucking and their work conditions, and i got half of a music degree paid for by my share of the settlement. i’ve always felt like that would not have happened if these were not several upper middle class suburban families who were affected by the tragedy, who could afford to pursue legal action for years against an entity like that. I think the community rallied to donate some but even then, it was a fairly affluent community
the last time i saw my dad was at my brothers funeral. i was 14 and it had been a couple years already, but he aged so poorly much i mistook him for his dad who had died a decade prior. i don’t think we spoke until a few years later on the phone, and it was the last time we spoke. he was antagonizing my mom with his usual nonsense that she was making him out to seem like a bad guy to us, and that she was secretly in love with her cousin (who she has always been very close to) — i told him to go fuck himself — that was a reccuring taunt of his our whole childhood, which i always thought was weird but never thought much of it. eventually my brother no longer wanted to visit my mom’s extended family once he had a say in it, and he never really wanted to talk about it either. a few years after my brother died, we were visiting the cousin in question, when i woke up just in time to see them kiss. I went back to sleep like I saw nothing and my sister texted me in the morning telling me she saw the same thing.
Apart from the yknow, incest, she remarried two years before my brother died- so naturally we confronted her about it and she just sort of fawned and said she had too much to drink and that it won’t happen again. they always get too drunk together at family events and I have glimpsed kissy face emojis and other suggestive language on her phone that she obviously was trying to shield with her hands.
Now I’m questioning pretty much everything. I don’t think it was long after that when my dad went missing, which my mom only noticed because he hadn’t sent birthday cards for a whole year, and within a year of that he was found in florida, dead on the street with fentanylin his blood. he was either dosed or killed himself. My family told me he died of natural causes accelerated by his alcoholism when it first happened and didn’t mention the fentanyl until very recently. Im wondering what else could they have they lied about or just have not told me because they don’t think I need to know?
One thing I try not to think too much about is something my mom said just once when I was little, about how when my sister was born the Doctors advised them not to have more kids bc it would be risky, “but I turned out fine” or something. My dad never came to visit our family on my mom’s side that i can remember, and when I was really little we spent a lot more time with her cousin doing a lot of quality time stuff; movies, mini golf, etc. The guy also drank a lot but he’s had better luck kicking the worst of his habits I guess.
JFC what do i make of all of this
….
i also sometimes feel like i’m getting schizo-baited by all of my targeted adds and articles on all of social media and sometimes i feel like im being watched so i don’t go anywhere or talk to my friends much at all. i went to a protest the other day and saw the typical undercover cop in his “hello fellow kids” getup, next day I step out of work to go to a coffee shop and the same dude in the same outfit is sitting next to the door when i go to leave. anyway please advise

2024.05.15 11:18 Manager_Jazzlike cmv: when two nation states fight, not targeting civilians should be considered a convention, not a "moral" rule
Tldr: the title. The long version: The line between enemy soldiers in the field, enemy soldiers on the way to the field, civilians making munitions, and civilians waiting to be conscripted, is way too fuzzy to be considered a "first principles" moral issue. They're all, in one way or another, a threat.
Furthermore, considering the government in a nation state is there to execute the will of the people, even civilians who are completely out of the fighting loop can be seen as responsible for whatever their government is doing (clearly, this responsibility is more direct in the case of democracy, but unless we're talking civilians kept in by force like in North Korea, the civilians are still giving some kind of consent by being part of the country).
Imagine a democracy that sends mercenaries to fight a war of foreign conquest, aren't the civilians more "culpable" than the soldiers themselves?
To be clear, I'm not advocating for death camps or lining up civilians to be shot. But, if a bunch of Ukrainians are taking pot shots from a factory with civilians inside, it should be the Ukrainian soldiers job to protect the civilians, not the Russian army's. In general, I'm not advocating civilian targeting, but I think the "killing cows for food" - good, "torturing a cow" - bad, distinction makes sense here too. As long as you're killing civilians for a better reason than sick enjoyment, it's fair game.
At the very least, hiding soldiers behind civilians in order to create a catch 22 (kill them and be condemned, don't kill them and get shot) is an OP tactic and should be nerfed :D
In my opinion, not killing enemy civilians should be considered along similar lines as not kicking in boxing, a rule both sides can mutually consent to, either in the interest of being sporting (which was probably the historical reason not killing civilians became a thing, no honor to a knight that kills a woman) or to mutually reduce damage (if two kings are fighting over land with a bunch of peasants, no use killing the peasants, they're spoils), but it shouldn't really be seen as a moral issue. If one boxer suddenly starts kicking, the other isn't a morally reprehensible person for kicking too. Similarly, if side A shoots civilians, side B should at least not inconvenience itself too much about not killing side A's civilians.
As a side note (i haven't thought about this too much, and definitely can't back it up, so it's not really part of my cmv), I think most of the wind behind "don't kill civilians during war" comes from privileged people in western European countries who suddenly became very strict about the rules of engagement after they stopped having wars to fight (right after they lost their last colony) and would revert to fire bombing civilians if a real war broke out.
To summarize:
- Targeting enemy civilians is not a "first principles" moral issue, it's more of a two way contract
- As such, if the other side is targeting civilians, so can you. In addition, if the other side is playing games, like hiding soldiers behind civilians, you may break the contract (expect the other side to follow suit)
CMV: Civilians are fair game in conflicts between nation states

2024.05.15 10:44 GarLuck4 A problem I cannot ignore (HFW)
I wanted to share a list of things I find lacking/wrong to see if you think the same. I must clarify a few things so you know where I am standing. I have not finished HFW... I have just finished the Kulrut mission of the Main story. I am a very particular kind of player as I tend to take twice the amount of time to finish a game compared to the average player. I have 97 hours on it and the statistics section says I have completed half the game, 48.77% specifically, a number that (I asume) stands for the overall game including side quests etc. Regarding the map, I haven't been anywhere beyond the stadium of the Kulrut so I have seen only half of it, literally.
All that said, let's begin.
I think that there is a lot of wasted potential when it comes to how the player interacts with the environment. This is a problem that I also had with the first game and all Open world games in general but it is specially annoying in this one because exploration, nature and ecosystems play a fundamental role on its narrative and gameplay. Considering how detailed and gorgeous are the graphics, phisycs, animations and almost everything, I find it sinful how biomes are only a visual effect with poor gameplay impact... A temperature mechanic that would force players to switch outfits (that could be a separate thing to armors or not) would have been awesome. It is ridiculous how ANYONE in these games seem to be affected by weather conditions and it is even more infuriating considering tenakth clans are basically divided into biomes. Sky people for example, half naked in the middle of the snow on top of a mountain. I remember getting to the desert at the beginning of the game and seeing in awe a huge sand tornado just to find out that it does not harm me at all... There are so many ways in which weather and temperature could affect the game mechanically. Machines being slower and easier to freeze in the snow biomes and the opposite in extremely hot weather. Stuff like that. The small rainforest section I could see so far is empty... Visually stunning but empty and boring. Animals are almost the same in every biome (with a few insignificant exceptions). It breaks the immersion for me to see a boar or a pig in every single place I go. And it is always THE SAME PIG OR BOAR, THERE ARE NOT EVEN 2 DIFFERENT MODELS. How animals interact with the environment and how inconsistent to real life they are is also horrible to me. I mean, Artemis did a TERRIBLE job at restoring earth's wildlife. That without mentioning the lack of different species and animals. It could have been cool to see aggressive animals too, like bears, snakes, big cats, idk, SOMETHING. The whole hunting system could be polished too, because, as it is, this is just like pressing triangle to pick something up but shooting a single arrow first. In their current state, they are just one-shot targets packed with items.
Plants suffer from the same things as animals, a few slight variations per biome but even worse as they are useless. Cactus for desert, snow plant for snow, water plant for water. It feels like a kid designed it. No real incentive for the player to gather plants really. And no, potions are not an answer, buying them is cheaper and time-saving not to mention how easy to find they are.
Travelling from one place to another is also... Meh. I think that fast travel should exist but be more limited IMO. The campfire shouldn't even exist and saving should be mannual (from the main menu) and automatic. In its current state, there is no reason why the player should go anywhere by foot or using a machine. Fast travel packs should be A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE and work as a whole settlement. It would have been cool if they would have taken RDR2 idea where you have to set a camp. The feeling of travelling alone in a dangerous land is lost the moment I can run a few meters away from a machine and fast travel to the other side of the map. It would be a lot more immersive and make cities or small settlements more valuable. You never get to feel unsafe, alone, far from civilization. As there is probably a campfire, abandoned settlement, city or town every 100 meters. Everything is easy, quick, at hand.
The game's economy does also need some rework. Crafteable items shouldn't be for sale at all. That way, gathering stuff would feel more rewarding and necessary. The same goes for animal and machine parts. The last two are negotiable, make them expe sive, really expensive, and that merchants that offer those products are rare and scarce, just like the special merchants from meridian that doesn't exist in this game. I actually love how they handled machine parts in this game as you have to change strategies to get a specific part, no complaints with that.
Machines are nerfed during side and main quests. This is so stupid and mainstream-designed bullshit and I cannot stand it. It is so ridiculous how dumb and weak a thunderjaw is in a quest compared to hunting it in the open world. This was not a thing in HZD or at least I do not recall it being like that.
"Anyway, that is all I got for now GAIA. Time to tuck in."
"I Wish you a pleasant sleep, Garluck."

2024.05.15 10:44 Ace3000 Obligatory Do I Restart Post.
Originally, I wasn't intending to after the 2.0 update, but recently I found out a certain choice I made not only got its reward nerfed, but also I got spoiled in how it actually affects a certain thing I was going for despite it seeming like it wouldn't affect it at all.
So, should I restart anyway? I've had about 80 hours pumped into it, up to the initial waiting phase of Play It Safe
What I did: I betrayed Panam for the red Shion Coyote. Thought it wouldn't affect anything since I was gunning for Judy, but I got spoiled that I'm now unable to get her ending because of it. Also it got nerfed, it's not a Coyote any more and doesn't have the 199 top speed.

2024.05.15 10:06 Lower_Scientist_9434 Joy needs CC immunity to be Joy
Joy without CC immunity ISN’T JOY. Now you will tell me that an assassin must be cautious when entering a fight and blah blah blah. Other assassins can actually burst targets and run away. Joy can’t do that and that’s why she is unique. She needs some time to execute her gameplay and that’s why you can’t nerf her this way. The last adjustment ruined the hero completely. Nerf something else like even her damage, but not what makes Joy JOY. submitted by Lower_Scientist_9434 to MobileLegendsGame [link] [comments]
2024.05.15 09:27 Dereas6 Aphelios ITEM build ideas after new patch, MASTER tier Aphelios main.
Hello everyone my name is Crowley Meratyn and i am Master tier Aphelios main
57Games 63%WR on Dia1/Master , wanna ask what are you going to build after new patch.
Still not tried Yun Tal Wildarrows so not flame me for not including it. (Boots are 9/10 times Berzerks for AS) In my eyes, after all nonQ items are out of crit what about this: 1st item Collector: - Total Gold Cost: 3100 ⇒ 3200
- Attack Damage: 55 ⇒ 60
- Lethality: 16 ⇒ 15
- Critical Strike Chance: 20% ⇒ 25%
(This change for only +100g cost is great, early spike stats a bit expensive 1st item but stronger than Kraken in my eyes)
2nd item Infinity Edge: - Total Gold Cost: 3300 Gold ⇒ 3400 Gold
- Critical Strike Chance: 20% ⇒ 25%
- Attack Damage: 65 ⇒ 80
(This change for only +100g cost? 15AD, 5% crit, guys this is so huge.)
3rd item Situational: Option 1: Lord Dominiks Regards: - Armor Penetration: 35% ⇒ 40%
- Critical Strike Chance: 20% ⇒ 25%
- Attack Damage: 40 ⇒ 45
- No longer deals increased damage based on target's max health advantage
(This is change that helped with base stats, but we are out of the Giant Slayer passive, that means, we really need to build it to lower armor of targets, with big % hp it wont help us anymore, still so important item for AA marksman like Aphelios..)
Option 2: Runaans Huricane: (yes, i am not joking)
- Total Gold Cost: 2800 Gold ⇒ 2600 Gold
- On-hit Magic Damage: 30 ⇒ Removed
- Bolt AD Damage Scaling: 40% ⇒ 55%
- Critical Strike Chance: 20% ⇒ 25%
(Great item when you need AOE, and they have many frontliners, as Aphelios player with high base AD,
Bolt AD Damage Scaling: 40% ⇒ 55% this is insane change for us)
4th item Situational: Option 1: Bloodthirster: - Attack Damage: 55 ⇒ 80
- No longer grants extra AD above 70% Health
- [NEW - Ichorshield: converts excess healing from lifesteal into a shield, up to 50-400 (based on level)
- Crit Chance: 20% ⇒ Removed
(This item is out of Crit, but it has insane amount of AD and passive Shield, we really wanna build this 4th item vs poke, Aphelios love lifesteal and we have 75% crit.. we dont really need more trust me.)
Option 2: They are heavy AD so Guardian Angel? or Randuins Omen: (this item is great, if you dont like GA, Randuin is after buff a lot better with stats.)
- Health: 400 ⇒ 350
- Armor: 55 ⇒ 75
- Humility cooldown: 60 seconds ⇒ 90 seconds
- Humility slow: 55% ⇒ 70%
(
Guardian Angel has 55AD and 45Armor for
3200g + RESS //
Randuin has 350hp, 75 armor and very good AOE slow vs divers for
2700g, yea if you compare stats, Randuin looks a lot more worth vs also assasins, 75Armor is great i wont lie to you)
Option 3: They are heavy AP: - Maw of Malmortius: Great vs Burst 9/10 times best MR item for Aphelios.
- Mercurial Scimitar: They nerfed its crit and its 300g more expensive, but they added 10% Lifesteal which we dont need cuz we have BT, sometimes 1/10 when playing vs Varus, Ashe that heavy CC cleanse can be lifesaver more than Maw
Thanks for reading, i would like to say at the end, that i am playing passive like this:
- Lvl1 - W (for better last hitting)
- lvl 2,3,4 - Q (for raw AD for farming)
- then E max (lethality is great early/mid and when maxed you are on 33 lethality)
- after E max i go for full W (AS is better than AD later in game, becouse we have enough dmg and need some AS source, i go W max 2nd when going CollectoIE/LDR becouse need some AS in this build).
Thanks for reading, tell me your ideas after new patch and write me your build, in this post i tried to show you my build that i am going, feel free to ask me about anything and sorry for my english, i am from CZ).
Your Crowley.

What is the Whig party? The Whig Party was a political party in the United States that existed from the early 1830s to the mid-1850s.
Here are some key points about the Whig Party: Origins: The Whig Party emerged in the 1830s as a coalition of various anti-Jacksonian factions. They opposed the policies of Democratic President Andrew Jackson, particularly his expansion of executive power and his handling of the Bank of the United States. Beliefs: The Whigs supported a strong federal government, internal improvements such as infrastructure projects, a national banking system, and protective tariffs to promote industry. Leadership: Prominent Whig leaders included Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, and William Henry Harrison. Presidential Success: Four Whig presidents served in office: William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, Zachary Taylor, and Millard Fillmore. Decline: The party began to splinter over issues such as slavery, the Mexican-American War, and the Compromise of 1850. The rise of the anti-slavery Republican Party and internal divisions led to the decline of the Whig Party. Legacy: While the Whig Party itself dissolved in the 1850s, many former Whigs joined the Republican Party or other political movements. The Whigs left a legacy of advocating for economic development and opposition to executive overreach.
Explain the Democratic-Republican Party The Democratic-Republican Party was one of the first political parties in the United States. Here are some key points about the Democratic-Republican Party: Founding: The party was founded by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in the early 1790s in opposition to the Federalist Party led by Alexander Hamilton. Beliefs: The Democratic-Republicans favored a limited federal government, states' rights, agrarian interests, and a strict interpretation of the Constitution. They were critical of a strong central government and favored an agrarian society of small farmers. Leadership: Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were key figures in the party. Jefferson served as the third President of the United States from 1801 to 1809, and Madison succeeded him as the fourth President from 1809 to 1817. Opposition: The Democratic-Republicans opposed the Federalist Party's policies, including the Alien and Sedition Acts and a national bank. They supported the principles of the French Revolution and favored closer ties with France rather than Britain. Achievements: The Democratic-Republicans were responsible for the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, which doubled the size of the United States. They also oversaw the abolition of the national debt during Jefferson's presidency. Transformation: Over time, the Democratic-Republican Party split into factions, with some members eventually forming the Democratic Party, while others joined the Whig Party. The Democratic Party that emerged retained some of the principles of the Democratic-Republican Party. The Democratic-Republican Party played a significant role in shaping early American politics and government, advocating for a decentralized system and agrarian interests.
Explain the federalist party The Federalist Party was one of the first political parties in the United States. Here are some key points about the Federalist Party: Founding: The Federalist Party was founded in the 1790s by Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, and others who supported a strong central government and a loose interpretation of the Constitution. Beliefs: The Federalists believed in a strong federal government, a national bank, protective tariffs, and close ties with Britain. They favored an industrial and commercial economy over an agrarian one. Leadership: Alexander Hamilton was a key leader of the Federalist Party, along with John Adams, who became the second President of the United States from 1797 to 1801. Policies: The Federalists supported the Alien and Sedition Acts, which restricted immigration and free speech, and they favored a pro-British foreign policy. They were often at odds with the Democratic-Republicans led by Thomas Jefferson. Opposition: The Democratic-Republican Party emerged as the main opposition to the Federalists, criticizing their policies as favoring the wealthy and infringing on states' rights. Decline: The Federalist Party declined after the War of 1812, as their opposition to the war hurt their popularity. The party eventually dissolved in the 1820s, leaving the Democratic-Republicans as the dominant political force. The Federalist Party played a significant role in shaping early American politics, advocating for a strong central government and policies that favored commerce and industry.

The entire zombie world is resurrecting and threatens the existence of life on Earth, as depicted in ornately detailed and meticulously crafted images. Your goal is to compete in tournaments and devise a strategy that will allow you to save innocent people while amassing and occupying the opponent’s armory. GET RID OF ALL THE ZOMBIES IN THE DUNGEON Evil ghosts are holding back some of the world’s best gunmen. They are wreaking havoc on the planet and must be stopped at all costs. If you are still disoriented in the dark, it is recommended that you locate the base and construct your battleship as soon as possible. Any zombies that move while driving should be killed or cornered. You should avoid zombie attacks because their magical power and attack pressure are perilous. Players can avoid assassins by moving around and hiding behind walls and containers. When you’re almost out of ammo, move quickly to avoid leaving traces and being ambushed by an opponent at the last second. You must raid and properly aim at the numerous enemies roaming around to get out of the arena. PUT ON YOUR ARMOR, WHICH IS SPECIALIZED DAMAGE-DEALING GEAR When discussing the shooting environment in Left to Survive, the Armor power upgrading device cannot be overlooked. Because each of our guns is equipped with a silencer and pinpoint precision, the incredible magical power of our guns will astound all of the players. If being surrounded by zombies makes you nervous, you can launch an attack from a safe distance. The Armor pair and the newly added protection feature in the shop will transform into formidable arms to assist you in completing this difficult task. Sniper weapons, guns, shotguns, and machine guns could all be used during the battle. This will be determined by both the target’s and the opponent’s strength. Maintaining your fighting spirit necessitates frequent use of health boosters and ammunition reloading. CREATE SEPARATE COMBAT FORMATIONS AND COMBINE THE FORCES OF BOTH SIDES Those who want to fight in multiplayer squads can do so in PvP combat. Combatants can engage in 1×1 solo battles or 2×2 team battles. One of the aspects that distinguish that particular team fight is how the skills of all of the team members combine. Improve your teammates’ abilities to provide the fairest fight possible while avoiding unnecessary injuries. Your opponent may be able to split your force during an ambush battle. Never be duped into fighting more battles with other groups, as cohesiveness is the key to success in Left to Survive. LAUNCH AN ALL-OUT ASSAULT ON THE ENEMY BASE USING HELICOPTERS You must raid all bases to turn every fight into a zombie apocalypse. Your helicopter will carry out this operation, which will collect all the resources required to maximize your fighting power. In contrast, enemy bases are constantly guarded by imposing towers and legions of local guards. To conserve energy, the player must also bring formidable weaponry aboard the plane and use the cannon’s most lethal firepower. Then, build your battling stronghold with materials stolen from your opponent’s stronghold. 2024.05.15 08:08 ProHunter4life Testing Out Remington's Upgraded 870 Fieldmaster Shotgun
870 Field Master Hey there fellow shotgun enthusiasts! Have you heard about Remington's latest iteration of the classic 870 pump-action shotgun? They just reintroduced the 870 Fieldmaster with some sweet upgrades over the standard Express model. We're talking a classy walnut stock, sling swivel studs, drilled and tapped receiver, and even three choke tubes right out of the box. All that for just a Benjamin more than the Express. I took this fancy new Fieldmaster out to the range to put some shells through it and see if these upgrades are more than just superficial. The initial impressions are promising - the action cycles smooth as butter and it ejects shells like a champ thanks to the improved barrel and chamber finishing. The walnut stock also gives it a refined look and feel. This is shaping up to be a winner, but stick around as I put it through its paces to see if it holds up over time! First Impressions of the New Remington 870 Fieldmaster When you first pick up the new Remington 870 Fieldmaster, you'll immediately notice the premium feel. Compared to the 870 Express, the walnut stock and metal finish are a big upgrade. The wood-to-metal fit is tight, and the deep, rich walnut hue gives it a classy look. 870 Smooth Action and Reliable Performance At the shooting range, the Fieldmaster performed flawlessly. The action is buttery smooth, and shells ejected effortlessly after each shot. The trigger has a clean break, and the recoil pad helps tame some of the kick from the 12-gauge shells. The Fieldmaster comes with three choke tubes (improved cylinder, modified, and full), allowing you to customize your pattern for different types of targets or game. At 25-30 yards, the modified choke tube produced nice, even patterns. Built to Last While the Fieldmaster hasn’t been out long enough to determine long-term reliability, if it’s anything like the original 870, it’ll last generations. The receiver is milled from a solid billet of steel, and the barrel has a tough matte blued finish. All components are built to strict tolerances, so you know each part will work together perfectly. For an additional $100 over the 870 Express, the Fieldmaster is worth the extra coin. You get a shotgun that handles and shoots like a dream, has premium components built to last, and looks like a shotgun that costs twice as much. If you want an affordable, dependable pump-action shotgun, the new 870 Fieldmaster deserves a spot at the top of your list. How the Fieldmaster Improves on the 870 Express The biggest thing you'll notice with the Fieldmaster is how smooth the action is compared to the Express. Remington has made improvements to the machining of the barrel and chamber, resulting in shells ejecting effortlessly. The slide glides back and forth without a hitch. For a pump-action shotgun, it's practically silk. Premium Wood and Metal The Fieldmaster also upgrades the materials. Instead of the hardwood stock and basic finish of the Express, you get a handsome walnut stock and forend. The receiver has a matte blued finish rather than just a basic matte black. These premium materials make the Fieldmaster feel like a high-quality firearm from the moment you pick it up. Added Features https://preview.redd.it/ajvecioj7j0d1.png?width=731&format=png&auto=webp&s=2c1e30954a6ac3e10d328370ba72070888154755 In addition to the improved action and premium materials, the Fieldmaster includes features missing from the Express like a drilled and tapped receiver, sling swivel studs, and three choke tubes (cylinder, modified, and full). The ability to mount optics and the inclusion of multiple choke tubes provides added versatility for both hunting and target shooting. Overall, the Fieldmaster is a noticeable step up from the 870 Express in terms of build quality, materials, and features. For the extra $100, you're getting an 870 that handles and shoots like a dream with some useful extras. If you want an affordable, all-purpose shotgun that will last a lifetime, the Fieldmaster is worth the investment. The improved 870 platform combined with that walnut stock is hard to beat. Range Testing the Upgraded 870 Fieldmaster Shotgun Accuracy and Pattern When you first take the Fieldmaster out to the range, you’ll likely be impressed with how accurately it shoots. At 25 to 50 yards, the three choke tubes—improved cylinder, modified, and full—provided tight shot patterns on the target. The smooth bore and polished chamber of the upgraded barrel seem to help the shot stay together as it leaves the muzzle. Reliability The true test of any shotgun is how reliably it cycles and ejects shells. During several rounds of shooting, the Fieldmaster performed flawlessly, extracting and ejecting shells cleanly after each shot. The action felt smooth and didn’t bind up or jam at all. This type of reliability and smooth functioning is what you hope for in an upgraded gun. Handling and Feel One of the biggest improvements with the Fieldmaster is its upgraded furniture and metal finish. The walnut stock and forend feel solid and comfortable in your hands. And the blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver looks sharp and high quality. The Fieldmaster just feels like a premium shotgun when you shoulder and shoot it. Overall, the initial range testing of Remington’s 870 Fieldmaster showed it to be a noticeable upgrade over the standard 870 Express. With its tighter shot patterns, smoother action, and upgraded fit and finish, the Fieldmaster would make a great all-around shotgun for upland bird hunting, waterfowl hunting, or sporting clays. While more long-term testing is still needed, the first impressions of this reintroduced shotgun are very positive. For an additional $100 over the base model 870 Express, the Fieldmaster seems worth the extra investment. Conclusion So in the end, the Remington 870 Fieldmaster brings some nice upgrades to the table compared to the Express model. The premium walnut stock and metal finishing look great, and the three choke tubes add versatility. While the Fieldmaster costs more, the initial performance indicates it’s a worthy successor to the 870 legacy. The true test will come through long-term use, but if you want a refined 870 with some classic styling, the Fieldmaster deserves strong consideration. Time will tell, but the foundation is solid for this reinvigorated shotgun. submitted by ProHunter4life to Remarms_RemingtonFans [link] [comments]
2024.05.15 07:34 KayRocky In response to the Bots and Nid players (complainers)
You bots and Nids have it so easy. At least your units have a chance. Just because I downloaded the free to play mobile version of the game I’m stuck with SEAF. I refuse to buy into the pay to win mechanics of the game. Yea I drop a few thousands RC (mind you I make like 10RC a week) and I can be an oh so cool helldiver. But nooooo that’s for super citizens only!
Meanwhile I’m over here dealing with farmers as my low tech units. Sure they have a breach action shotgun…. But I’m no farmer with a gun and they ain’t no sayain. I have to IMMEDIATELY tech into bunkers and barracks with a research station! Otherwise I won’t even be able to get my SEAF site up in time.
And before you know it those positions will be over run by patrols and my workers turned it fodder for bot builds and food for the Nids.
Oh sure I can at least cap some Nids and get oil reserves going. But then I can barely afford to build radar stations that will let me find the samples on the map that will then unlock mini nukes for my Artillery sites.
But good luck getting those going at any reasonable speed!! I mean for god sakes the AA site is ONLY able to target Dropships… not even gunships! Much less shriekers. Hell why even have the option to build them on bug planets!?! No one does and never will!!
Research and tech trees are so screwed up for SEAF players… like when will we ever get a patch?! I swear we were only included in the game to be “motivation” for helldivers. It’s like we are literally props!?
If one of my worlds get invaded it’s either protect my civis (they only half to run like 50 yards max thank god) or I get people loaded in crypto pods to at least save my leveled up units…. But jeeze it’s like the devs just made this faction… and then forgot about it.
If o have to hear one more time about a bot player complaining about microing a Flame hulk… at least your ships don’t drop your research currency when downed… and to the Nids who complain about chargers being slow and easily rodeod…. At least you have a medium unit! I have squads of SEAF troopers that have LITERALLY cloth armor… I’d complain about our cars/buggies… but they literally don’t work.
The only real useful thing I can do is plant hair trigger hellbombs around the map in the hopes they get ACCIDENTALLY set off…
The only reason I even play this game is so I can earn medals for my C-01 application.
Uggh…. Time to go build another set of landing beacons and start all over again.

2024.05.15 07:22 Primaul What if the fun balance pass did this.
the following anti-Player & Fun enemy buffs have been reverted
- Hulks: Force required for them to stagger slightly increased
- Devastator fire rate slightly increased (only the standard devastator)
- Scout strider Riders now less vulnerable to explosions
changes to the following
STRATAGEMS have been made
Railgun has been reverted to its original pre-nerf state with a one-month grace period before any adjustments are made.
Arc Throwers range increase to 50 meters. 50m is not halfway across any map.
Heavy Machine gun now has 100 rounds per drum magazine
Grenade Launcher now has 6 reloads up from 2
my thoughts on this are the SMGs should be the floor of damage per round and everything else should do more damage. with Polar Patriates the concussive effect should be standardized -5 damage -45 fire rate. I don't think the damage should increase to much because that would make the enemy units to easy and that would be no fun.

2024.05.15 06:57 CuriousPhilosopher24 Suggestion: 2 sidearm when picking up from the ground
Hear me out on this, been thinking about this concept for a while. not sure on the grenade pistol since that one can be a cheat or too OP carrying way more grenades.
The concept is this for regular sidearms that makes it fair and not too OP or nerfed. . .
- You can only pick up the same sidearm you carry.
- Accuracy is the same as Exo-suit where its along the side of the cross-hair center.
- You have now 2 guns but also takes twice as longer to reload.
- One handed perk is will be optional depend on the sidearm.
- Hip shooting will depend on the sidearm.
- Ammo you carry will be shared or equalized depends on the mags it carry but it won't doubled.

2024.05.15 06:48 Busy_Ocelot2424 How to buff the mech (without making it OP)
Currently as it is against bugs I love using the mech. It has some hidden utility that I came to appreciate recently: being especially useful on hot planets and firestorm planets. Because the mech moves at a helldivers running pace it is a great taxi across hot planets because it isnt hindered by stamina drain, and it is immune to fire tornadoes so you are very safe to cross those areas. This got me thinking about how it could be made effective against the automatons. As for now, its only useful against bugs, and many would say the way to make it safe for bot missions would be to make it more tanky. But theres definitely going to be another mech coming that will be tankier, so it doesnt make sense to buff this things health anymore. Tbh, its health is fine against bugs, you cant play like youre invincible but if you keep moving and using terrain you can stay safe. I came back to the speed. The mech should not be limited to a helldivers running speed. It doesnt make sense. Its taking babysteps. If it were faster, it could keep itself out of trouble from rockets and get from cover to cover before turrets shot at it. So thats my suggestion, dont make it tankier, buff its speed, but also: reduce the spread of the machinegun. This thing has so much spread its insane. It kind of helps against the bugs but it wouldnt be a nerf to reduce the spread. This would allow weakspot targeting with the hmg on the mech. That would be a huge factor in letting it fight automatons. Lastly the rockets just need to be able to aim up or down idk what that problem is but Im sure they could fix that. One more thing that might help it with automatons would be to reduce cooldowns BUT, I wouldnt be surprised if in the future with the NEW mech they add ship modules for mechs that buff them and do that anyway.

2024.05.15 06:16 Successful-Part-8440 The Type 83 Destroyer: probably the best defender out there.
The Type 83 is probably the most underrated defender among all the destroyers, while potentially being the best defender among destroyers. It has:
- 2x1 missiles
- 1x1 missiles
- 1x1 cannon
- 2x1 grenade launcher
- 2x1 torpedoes
- 3x1 free AA
- 2x1 free autocannon
- 2x1 locked autocannon
- 1x1 locked AA missile
- 1x1 helicopter
- 474 500 hp
- 22.74 knots speed
- 10.4 maneuverability
- 9.6km radar
- 3.33km visual detection
- 2.4km sonar
- Stealth
Its hp is somewhat the envy of other destroyers playing a defensive role. At 474,500 hitpoints, the 83 can take a hit and more. It won't be bullied off easily.
On release, the 83 probably didn't have the same impact defensively, and there were good reasons for this. Its loadout made it very versatile, but there weren't that many weapons that can push the ceiling of the 83's versatility towards high multirole effectiveness, nor did the 83 have 2x1 torpedoes.
The torpedo buff improved the effectiveness of the 83 against subs somewhat, but that didn't improve the 83's situation when it came to having to make a choice between spam torps, burst torps, or a compromise(Black Shark torpedoes).
There simply weren't that many weapon choices that could exploit the 83's flexibility, and 83 just lagged behind the defensive and supportive abilities of the 55A, Anchar, and Ushakov simply because of that factor even when these four destroyers got buffs. The 55A could equip multiple Garpuns and eventually JRNGs and Crotales for the AA role, and that it has the 3x1 missile slot means it can fire a powerful volley of missiles. The Anchar had 4x2 AA slots combined with 3x1 grenade launchers, 2x1 torps, 3x1 missiles, and a cannon which meant that it had powerful AA, strong missile volleys, strong torpedo defenses, and can retaliate against subs. The Ushakov is a double cannon destroyer with a well rounded defensive kit.
The 83 just fell behind these destroyers: it just couldn't compete.
But things changed for the 83 because of the following reasons:
- SM6 and Prometheus redesign
The redesign of these air-capable missiles made the 1x1 missile slot worth one of these missiles. This boosted the 83's anti-aircraft capability.
Previously, the 83 had to equip either an NLOS autocannon for triple-purpose anti-missile/anti-aircraft/anti-ship firepower, or the Rapidfire for gun-based anti-aerial/antiship defense.
Both were not satisfying, because the NLOS can be flared and thus it dealt no damage for precious seconds, or settle for the Rapidfire which didn't have a missile burst. They could also equip the JEAG, but it was basically an unflareable missile that can't deal with aerial weapon spam.
- Tiger Shark torpedo and Akya Torpedo
That the 83 now had access to high damage torpedoes that were not vulnerable to countermeasures made the 2x1 torp slots of the 83 extremely potent, useful, and dangerous to any target particularly submarines.
This vastly improved the 83s ASW capabilities, as well as giving it a burst of AA firepower from the Merlins guns.
That the 83 now has a high arc, good damage, missile with high speed and a fast reload meant that it's 2x1 missile slot just became much more effective as a support missile slot.
An AOE, medium-long range, high burst damage, AA missile meant that the 83 can now equip a weapon that can deal with aerial spam.
A better P/J45, equipping this on the 83 meant that 83 is now more effective against aircraft while remaining effective against ships.
Overtime, the 83 gained access to weapon systems that gave it a defending edge over the other common defender destroyers. The 55A doesn't have 2x1 torpedoes, can't equip the Seahawk Sigma, and has lower hp. The Anchar has lower hp, and cannot equip the SM6 nor the 500 without losing significant AsuW firepower. The Ushakov cannot equip the Seahawk Sigma, cannot equip the SM6 or the 500, and has lower hp.
The 83 has high HP, and can equip the Sigma and SM6/500 without losing significant AsuW firepower unlike the Anchar and the Ushakov. It can also equip the Tiger Shark and Akya at a 2x1 slot. It has the Aster, which is a long ranged, fast reload, good damage, AOE antiaircraft missile, which while may pale to the 55A's HHQ-9B missile, is quite effective at what it does, and the Anchar and the Ushakov doesn't have any equivalents.
It is the best destroyer for serious support DD players right now, and it is definitely worth the AC. Even without the A-220M and equipped with an AsuW cannon, one can still defend well with it.

2024.05.15 05:49 BringBackManaPots Solis should cause some kind of distortion effect when she has a lock on you
Pretty simple nerf idea to add a little counterplay. She punishes the behavior the devs want in the community (i.e. using utility), and there isn't really any way to respond to what she does. Every other operator has a tell, or thing you can do to play against them. There needs to be at least some way to respond to her, because as it is now, you're pretty much stuck with going full run and gun.
Maybe the interference that her lock causes can strengthen as she gets closer, similar to vigil. There needs to be some way to respond to what she does, because as it is now, youre kind of just SOL when she's on the board.

2024.05.15 05:24 Arkasha_AmerRus This may be a stretch, but I think some of the characters are based on mental illnesses, or at least have them
Jax: ASPD-He seems to not care about other people very much and has played rude pranks, laughed at others misfortune, left them to die to an abstracted character, as well as enjoying violence without any empathy shown as seen in the second episode and even threatens Gangle with a gun to make her keep driving. He also seems to hang around and target Gangle, with someone like her having such extreme emotions being very easy to manipulate
Zooble: Depression-Always down, frustrated, easily annoyed and uninterested in everything the others have to do
Pomni: Schizophrenia-She just happened to wake up in a random new world one day with deformed and inhuman creatures all around her telling her to do things and having other multiple frightening random events popping up, like Kaufmo abstracting or the tragedy mask in the bathtub screaming and charging towards her
Gangle: Bipolar Disorder-She has two emotions based off which mask she has on, assuming thats how it works. A tragedy mask, which she is depressed and upset the whole time she wears it, and a comedy mask that I assume makes her happy and joyful whenever wearing it. She has two emotions that(provided her comedy mask didn't break) she'd be able to switch between whenever, going straight from happy to extremely upset
Kinger could possibly be dementia, as Jax has said you can't count on him for anything (again if Jax has ASPD he may be lacking enough of a moral compass to make fun of Kinger's dementia that way) as if he may get forgetful and confused a lot. He is also the one who has been there the longest and hence may be the oldest, maybe even elderly, putting him at a higher risk for dementia
The Alligator outlaw guys: Multiple Personality Disorder-Three of them who are all alligators and look similar but act differently, eventually one of them realizing he's an NPC and the memories he has while in the persona of the boss aren't real and are all just made up to fit his place in the story
Ragatha, and Caine are ones I'm not sure about yet.

2024.05.15 05:12 CorpsmanOnFire [WTS] Larue Match Grade Upper 16” 5.56 $975
Timestamp:
https://imgur.com/a/lEZxdyD Selling this tack driver I got before my last deployment. It shoots sub MOA consistently with 77GR Black Hills OTM and grouped PMC XTAC 55gr really well! Only saw about 100 rounds suppressed with RC2.
Includes the Surefire Flash Hider, PRI gas Buster and the original case and books, stickers and targets Mark bundles with it. Some OD green patches remain but I was able to get most of my spray paint job scrubbed off. I know it’s higher priced but I bought mine after the Larue price hike ($1300) and need to make a few bucks back on it.
Asking for $975 shipped.
I can only accept Venmo or Zelle. No gun related notes. PM me directly. I will not reach out to you as to avoid scammers. Will have it shipped out no later than Thursday afternoon.
Also interested in a DBAL A3/ A2 if you have one.
Thanks!

2024.05.15 05:07 SuperGoody [14.10] Zoe Reroll Guide - Is she OP or Balanced?
Intro
Hello, I'm Goody. I make TFT content on YouTube, Twitch, and occassionally Reddit.
This time I'm here to discuss Zoe Reroll, a comp that has caused a little bit of a stir on the PBE due to her buffs in 14.10
But there are those that say Zoe is a terrible unit
The most prominent of which is
Mortdog who said
"Stop playing Zoe. She's not good. Despite the buff even" (VOD Timestamp of this here) Challenger Zoe One-Trick: LIGhtYgo
I've been playing a lot of Zoe Reroll on the PBE, but recently in my stream
CuLe TV told me about a Challenger on the Japanese server who one-tricks Zoe Reroll called
LIGhtYgo.
His lolchess page is here if you want to read it And coincidentally, I've been playing the same comp they play amongst others that I'll share with you today
TLDR:
If you want a TLDR, this timestamped section should cover that
(The video also has Spanish and Vietnamese Subtitles)
Disclaimer: I tested these comps on the PBE and I have not played them in ranked. For transparency, here is my lolchess
And my Exalted only account here
(Highly recommend trying this btw, it's very fun)
But let's get started!
Ghoe Reroll (Ghostly Zoe)
So let's start with what LIGhtYgo plays which is this comp here
(Teambuilder here)
I couldn't find any VODs to link from LIGhtYgo but here's some of my gameplay of this comp on the PBE
From looking at their match history, LIGhtYgo tends to reroll Shen + Zyra or Zoe + Illaoi (1 tank + 1 carry) but sometimes they manage to 3 star everything alongside Aatrox.
Give Zoe Shiv
LIGhtYgo also frequently itemises Zoe with Statikk Shiv, 3 star or otherwise, to stack Zoe's passive as much as possible.
Passive: Kills increase the number of ricochets by 1 for the rest of combat.
Now, I should mention that Zoe's tooltip here is misleading and frankly incorrect. Zoe gains more ricochets if she participates in a kill, also known as takedowns.
And that is why Statikk Shiv is so phenomenal for Zoe. Not only is she reducing the MR of enemy units (helps Ghostly and your Magic Damage Dealers) but the damage from Shiv will give Zoe takedown credit once those enemy units perish.
So, even with just a Shiv and at 2 star, Zoe can be very impactful as her passive continues to easily stack.
Thus Zoe has great synergy with other AP carries like Zyra, Morgana, Teemo, Alune etc as they soften enemy units for each other to clean up.
And so Zoe is an incredible secondary carry as she needs very little to come online
You can infer this from LIGhtYgo's match history as they tend to succeed more when Zoe isn't their primary carry but rather secondary.
Although the buff to Zoe in 14.10 should change that, especially combined with the buffs to Ghostly, Warden, Aatrox, Behemoth and Jax.
Zoe's Weaknesses
From my games, I've felt Zoe has 2 main weaknesses
- Firstly, she can struggle into tanky frontliners as it'll take her more time to stack her passive.
- Secondly, Zoe can lose 1v1s as her ult will no longer ricochet (no targets left to bounce to)
These weaknesses can make Zoe feel very binary: - she either gets 3/4 takedowns and nukes - or she gets stuck, gets no passive stacks, and does nothing
Spooky Solution
But that’s why Ghostly can provide so much value to Zoe.
Those Spectres will help Zoe get through tanks and once they're concentrated, Zoe's single target will nuke which even allows her to win those 1v1s
Problems with Ghoe Reroll
From what I tried on the PBE, I did find this comp to be very powerful at level 9. However it could be a struggle getting there as you also need to reroll Zoe who can be contested by Fortune, Arcanist, and Storyweaver players
Is it a Player Diff?
I also find there to be a really odd tempo where I need to find Zoe 3 but also hit level 9 to find Udyr. I did learn later that you don't really need to 3 star Zoe to get to 9, and it's certainly not impossible to hit Zoe 3 at level 9.
Although, it seems that LIGhtYgo resolves this problem by keeping the option of Zyra Reroll open. (They play boards akin to this one occasionally)
Also, sometimes the Inkshadow item doesn't tend to be that useful, especially if it's Tattoo of Bombardment, as you don't have an AD carry.
Lastly, the position of the Ghostly units is really important so the Spectres concentrate onto Zoe's target(s). This can be really awkward if your primary Ghostly tank has a Stoneplate.
I have lost games because I moved Zoe away from my Ghostly units last second :(
But by far the biggest problem I have found is how much better the comp becomes at 9 than level 8. I personally find rerolling at level 8 to be the easiest to find 3 star Illaoi, Zoe, and Galio 2 whilst also being able to field 8 units which enable many important synergies.
Essentially, I don't like rerolling at either 7 or 8 with this comp. So I decided to comp up with a new comp to address this problem which is Altruist Arcanist.
4 Arcanist 3 Altruist Zoe Reroll
So here's a new variant of Zoe Reroll that has an incredibly strong level 8 (you play Rakan at 9) that gives you more time to reroll and find Zoe 3. This makes this comp so much easier to play and in turn, I have had so much more success with this variation particularly.
Teambuilder here
[Here's the full game from that clip with this comp]
This board also has a primary tank option between Amumu or Illaoi so you can play around whichever you manage to 3 star.
Although your secondary carry here is Lux who also holds your utility items like Morello and Shiv.
The Lissandra Nerfs really hurt...
Honestly, this may be extreme bias due to a bad few games, but I find a Lux 2 to be more reliable than post-nerf Lissandra. Lux feels like she needs a lot less to function better as she CC's more units, usually targets and slows down the enemy carry, and softens up enemy units for Zoe.
(VOD of why I don't like Lissandra)
The combination of Lux, Amumu, and Illaoi feels incredibly solid
Now the reason why I don't give Zoe Shiv on this board is due to a few reasons - Altruists prolong combat due to the mana reave, damage reduction, ally healing, and the trait resistances - That allows your frontline to be super beefy especially since the resistances are great for Bruisers/Wardens (loads of EHP) - Lux will have more AS than Zoe (Lux: 0.7x1.5=1.05 vs Zoe: 0.75x1.2=0.9) - And finally, opening up that item slot allows you to give Zoe a third damage item
Why not itemise Soraka?
Your secondary carry items should be going to Lux as she has more AP from Arcanist.
While Soraka can do a lot of damage, you only really care about her mana reave because it's such a powerful utility ability.
Regardless, Soraka will gain AP naturally from her passive as your frontline will continue to heal during combat. As she gains more AP, she heals your frontline more, who then stall for longer.
Lastly, the following 2 combinations are literally perfect for Altruist Arcanist.
Lux, Teemo, Thresh, Volibear, Galio, Morgana Darius, Bard, Soraka, Galio, Lissandra
4 Warden 6 Arcanist
Here's the board for this one
Teambuilder
(Here's some Footage of this Comp in Action)
Meta Report from Khym and YBY1
In the 14.10 Meta Report by Khym and YBY1, Arcanist Zoe is described as an Easy Top 4 Comp (if I'm reading that correctly)
Khym also has a guide on how to play Zoe/Illaoi RR here
And what's great here is that, again, as you reroll you have option between Amumu or Illaoi 3 as your tank (however Illaoi is better due to the Arcanist AP)
Also, with the 4 Warden buff, this frontline feels great and buys plenty of time for Zoe to scale.
And this variation certainly has the highest ceiling out of all the comps if you get a Porcelain Spatula
6 Arcanist, 4 Warden, 4 Porcelain is extremely powerful.
Luckily, you can easily pivot into this board from Altruist Arcanist but pivoting is a tad more difficult to do if you're playing Ghoe.
Similarly, both the Warden and Altruist boards can tech in Hwei at 8 to make hitting the 3 stars easier.
4 Warden Hwei 4 Arcanist 2 Altruist Hweimothy
So if you're low rolling Zoe, Hwei can easily save the day.
Regardless, all 3 comps make up for at least one of Zoe's weaknesses. They either buy her plenty of time to scale or they tremendously enable her damage and, in turn, her passive.
And, at the very least, Zoe is great item holder due to her buffed passive
Speaking of which, let's talk about Zoe's items now.
Zoe's Items
Of course, as I've mentioned, you can give Zoe Shiv so she can get takedown credit and stack her passive quickly
But generally, MR reduction is necessary (even if it's not on her) so Zoe can kill units and stack her passive. Shiv is far more preferable to build but Ionic still does the job.
But I'm a simple guy, I want to see BIG damage numbers and huge ricochets, thus I forgo Shiv on Zoe for pure damage items.
But before we get into those items, let's talk about which casting item Zoe will want
Casting item: Shojin vs Adaptive Math
First cast:
Zoe is 0/60 and Shojin/Adaptive give 15 mana
Shojin:
0.75-1x3 = 4 seconds
Adaptive:
0.75-1x4 = 5.3 seconds
Second Cast onwards
Shojin:
0.75-1x4 = 5.3 seconds
Adaptive:
10 mana after 0.7 seconds 40 mana every 3 autos every 4 seconds Then 1 more auto for 10 more mana
Thus Adaptive: 0.75-1x4 = 5.3 seconds
So Shojin will get Zoe's first cast off sooner however after that Zoe's cast frequency between Adaptive and Shojin is the same.
Considering Adaptive gives more AP, is not dependant on auto attacking, will continue to generate mana even if Zoe gets stunned (or has to walk up) and it grants MR (useful against magic damage), I believe Adaptive is the superior mana generating item on Zoe if she has no bonus attack speed
If Zoe has just a Shiv, then her cast frequency is much faster [(0.75x1.2)-1x4 = 4.4 seconds] with Shojin.
TLDR:
- Give Zoe Adaptive if you're going solely damage items on her (Rabadon/Archangel's + Jewelled Gauntlet)
- Give Zoe Shojin if she has any bonus attack speed (Nashor's/Shiv/Pumping Up)
AP item: Rabadon or Archangel's
Of course, Zoe is a Mage and so she wants as much AP as possible which is either Rabadon or Archangel’s
I prefer Rabadon because it's more upfront AP alongside a great damage amplifier. However Archangel's can be more realistic to build and eventually it will outscale Rabadon's AP.
Increase Casting/Damage Multiplier
Lastly, you can give Zoe an item to increase her casting frequency like Shiv or Nashor's Tooth. Both of these items maximise Zoe's Kill Participation.
Or you can give her more damage amp for more, well, damage. Those are items like Jewelled Gauntlet or even items like Guardbreaker or Giant Slayer.
Although if you go the pure damage route, you need Zoe 3 and a ton of AP, so Zoe can stack her passive by one shotting whatever she touches.
SUPER TDLR:
Generally great build : Shiv/Nashor's + Shojin + Rabadon/Jewelled
My favourite: Adaptive + Rabadon + Jewelled
Bonus: Luden's Tempest
Luden's Tempest feels amazing on Zoe. With her ricochets, she gets so much takedown credit so quickly with it and it's so much damage.
[Here's my gameplay of Luden's Zoe in action]
And what's nice is that Zoe formerly built Luden's in TFT's spinoff game League of Legends. So it's a great callback
Although I've never played Zoe before...can I pretend to have a sense of nostalgia?
Kayle Upgrade
It's Blue.
20 AP is 20 AP. You're already building Shred so Green is Redundant, and the Attack Speed from Red is only 12%.
Pivot Potential
Zoe's items are very flexible so if you don't hit Zoe 3, you can pivot them to other AP carries like Syndra, Azir, Lissandra and Lillia.
So you don't absolutely need to reroll Zoe, you can just as easily use Zoe to Fast 9 instead, especially around Storyweaver, and pivot into a Legendary board.
Fin.
That is all the information I currently have on Zoe Reroll
Hopefully this was helpful but I'd like to ask for your thoughts
What do you guys think about Zoe?
Do you think it's as OP as I believe or is Mortdog right?
Also, I usually do Patch Previews for each patch (for example here's my 14.10 patch preview), but I'm curious whether you guys would be interested if i made that into a Reddit post as well.
I imagine it'd be similar to how they do it on the LoL subreddit but I'd include my thoughts as well.
For example, I think Low Interest Rates is turbo giga insane in 14.10 because you can hit max interest rate at 2-6 (by the latest) at which point you're earning 6 gold a turn.
Lastly, I'm currently working on a Rek'sai reroll comp that is incredibly funny so look forward to that!
But yeah, I'll leave it on that note I think
Let me know if you have any questions!
I shall answer them as soon as i wake up lol
Thank you for reading <3
