I totally get it that Flitsmeister needs to earn (more) money, and therefore they've turned free functions into paid functions.
What takes all my empathy away though, is that they have decided to ANNOY (*) us into purchasing, and that's when my loyalty goes out the window.
So my question is: who has experience with the BMW Traffic Camera Information service, and how good is it when compared to Flitsmeister? Any experiences?
(*) they've decided to turn on a number of audible warnings. If I want to turn off those annoying warnings, then I need to pay. So if I don't pay cash (I accept the ads), I have flitsmeister constantly interrupting radio / music with stupid and worthless warnings

Long story short, I’m 26 and the grandson is 34. I never thought about going for someone with that big of an age gap, but I’ve thought about how is just a number, especially when you approach your later 20s. And as I get older, 30 and 35 don’t seem as old as I thought they were. I’m not opposed to being introduced to someone that I know mutually through someone else, but here’s the tricky part of it: his grandmother is also my patient. And at first I didn’t think she was being serious, and so I kindly declined. But as the days went on, she continued to bring it up. And part of me didn’t see it as a big deal, but I don’t exactly have guys lining up for me. But I also took it as a compliment, that she holds me to such high regard, to want me to even meet her grandson. I’ve been told I don’t put myself out there, but is anyone ever perfectly okay with potentially making a fool of themself trying to meet someone organically? Anyway, back to the grandson….normally if it was neighbor trying to set me up with their grandson, I’d be less hesitant, but since it involves a patient’s family member, I feel like major ethical concerns come into play. But also idk if he’s even agreed to do it either. Because at first I said no, but now I feel like I’m shooting my shot but not taking her up on her offer. And call me crazy, but what if I’m stepping in the way of meeting my dare you say…soulmate? Because this grandma (love her dearly, I’m actually quite close with her) is 94, so she knows a thing or two, especially with how well she knows her grandson. And she said I’m just his type. And I know she talks about both of us to one another, she’s literally trying to set us up. And like I said, I’m not sure if he agreed to meeting me. But through all the thoughts I’ve had, I keep coming back to how hard it is to meet someone nowadays, and how sometimes being set up actually works out. My parents started dating by my mom asking a mutual friend of her’s and my dad, if he wanted to go to a party with her. He agreed and after that party, they started dating. So they were age 16 and they’re 59 now, so you do the math. In the few weeks of this going on, the times he’s been visiting her, I’m always busy at that same time with other patients, so we end up missing each other. And I hope she didn’t tell him that I’m hiding, because I’m literally not hiding…except one time when I could hear her calling out about me from down the hall “there she is!”. I felt so awkward being singled out like that, I literally walked into a random room, not thinking they would be coming down the hall and passing me in the room. FML. And as they passed by the room, she shouted “there she is!” again FML 😭 I’m also not trying to come off desperate if I agree to meet him, but what if he wasn’t even on board to begin with. And then I just look Iike fool who agreed to meet him, even though I’m caring for his grandmother. Is that cringe? Men: what should I do? Would you agree if you were the grandson? Women: feel free to chime in as well.

hi, i don't really have many people to talk to on a regular basis, i pretty much only talk to like, idk, two or three people? i would love to meet a person or two and hang out together.
i'm a neet so i'm basically always free to hang out, but i sometimes disappear for a short amount of time due to my mental health. i will warn you ahead of time if that happens or at least apologize afterwards and let you know why i disappeared.
i become very talkative once i get comfortable with somebody, like seriously, you'll hear me yapping and yapping about anything under the sun, from existential or sad topics to silly things like "why cant we just throw all our trash into space?" because seriously tho why can't we lmao.
i would like to play lethal company with somebody, it's been one of my recent favorite games but i don't really have anybody to play it with. i tried with randoms but it wasn't fun. i also play a bunch of roguelites, risk of rain 2, binding of isaac, etc. maybe we could play overwatch or deep rock galactic or ultimate chicken horse lmao.
in terms of anime, uuuh I guess I've been watching the kaiju anime thats airing right now? tbh this season isn't the best for anime honestly lmao. or at least, not for me. maybe i'll watch that new MHA season but frankly I'm very out of the loop and I'd need to do a full rewatch, or at least a partial one.
anyway that's enough about me, at least for now.

2024.05.16 10:45 bounie I might give up in my first gardening year because of the slugs.

I can’t take it anymore. This is my first year of gardening. I sowed seeds indoors in March and they’ve barely been out in the garden a month. I bought a little plastic greenhouse and every morning I walk outside to see the awful trails of slugs on every wall of the thing. I know that when I go inside, instead of feeling excited about my seedling growth, I’ll just feel devastated when I see what’s been destroyed that night. It’s a stupid fucking lottery. I tried a physical barrier with volcanic pellets. I tried coffee grounds. I tried those really chemical blue pellets but now instead of finding slug shit all over the walls and pots I’m seeing blue shit. Even just next to live ones. So they’re just fucking digesting it?!!! I can’t even see any dead slugs anywhere - granted, maybe they’re falling into the long grass on the floor and I can’t see them. But their live numbers in the morning indicate that they’re not dying. My enthusiasm has hit the dirt. Even a beer trap don’t seem to interest them. I’m tempted to just bring them all indoors (where?? I have a tiny apartment. That’s why I bought the greenhouse in the first place.) and buy UV lights until they’re big enough to go outside. And then what???? The slugs will invade the vegetable patches anyway.
Feel free to make fun of me and my naïveté but is there any point to continuing this? I have 2 young kids and not that much energy or patience to be dealing with this problem every day. Should I just spend money on marigolds and put them all around the base of the greenhouse or something?

And that is a bottle of champagne, where the bottle has 3000 diamonds set in gold prongs all over the bottle,
a gold lable with the letters in the name that has a dot over it, has a swarovski crystal applied by hand,
how the hell did they get the small delicate prongs, and the diamonds on then? Is there a machine that can do that?
And why is he bosting and making so much hubbubb like 2-4 small manmade glass "crystals", almost more than the diamonds that there are like 3000 of and not labgrown?
The people who has tasted the champagne inside,
which the maker was talking up as one of the best ever, like he had filled the bottle with some vintage, extra good year, of some Dom or something,
the people tastings's verdict of "the best champagne ever " , didn't taste the greatest,
is that Nice wineexpert talk for: shittiest champagne I ever tasted? 🤣
And what kind of cash you would have to own this bottle?
Just the small sum of 2,75 millon USD.
Then the guy has a vodka in the same line,
With the same 3000 diamonds set in gold prongs, gold lable with swarovski, and fancy kork as the champagne.
But since the dude making this is russian, making some good russian vodka,
he had to get a little oligark walking outside as it's 20 degrees celsius or more, and gave it a little furcoat with a hood,
foefur by all means, the maker is also a member of PETA..

Normal people from russia, who knows vodka,
and not being pretensious or trying to seem like they have refined, expensive tastes,

tiered the same as the cheepest, worst, russian vodka I have ever had,

And if you have some spare change after dropping a cool 6,5 mill on a bottom tier champagne, and a bottom tier vodka in some iced out bottles,
Feel like you smell a little musty from the pre gaming, and want to smell like a rich duche when hitting the club?

The reason for this very long post, it does have a point and it has to do with wine , you have now heard this insane things about champagne, vodka, perfume and Coffee.

Are there, or has there been anything like that with wine , red or white, rose or sparkling, any wine?
That the wine is ok or so , not the best, but has an insane bottle and other packaging if there are any, and has an insane price?
Doesn't have to like the BS i found, that the price is in the millions,
but something crazy only rich people could or would drop on a bottle of wine,
not from a top winyard,
from a good or better year,
a rare bottle of one of the best ever vintages of that wine,
or something else spectacular,
so if an event big enough to open such a special bottle doesn't happen,
it's gone up in value if you sell it years later,
or could make a valuble and Nice piece to make a family heirloom,
especialy if you have a kid or grandkid that turns out to just a big a winenut as you..

I'm sorry, but you had the misfortune of stumbling on to, and becoming a victim to one of my adhd hangup posts,
They tend to become way to long, i haven't learned any ways to stop myself yet , new to the whole diagnose thing,
I have been struggling with it since like the end of kindergarten ,beginning of school, without knowing what it was.
And when I was to old for non stop hyper all waking second of the day,
I was so scared of being weird and fit in even less than I did, and scared to do something at home, so they would start thinking i was weird and not like me either..
So I hid it as best i could, i took everything that came with that and pushed it as far down and hid it as i just could managed , had some small outlets when I was alone at home, and the times i cracked at home, it was either against my Brothers, and because of lack of selfregulation, it was either exploding with anger, crying hystericly, screaming as loud and as long my lungs and voice would let me from irritation or frustration, or having the same extremes with positive feelings, they most likely thought i was a normal part bipolar, part psychopath, part spoilt rotten daddys little Princess who gets everything she wants, never gets in trouble, and can get us in trouble with just one cry or one word, and part sweet, happy , Nice littlesister, you know the kind of babysister every big Brother, most of the time, have? And it's normal for a kid to be a hyper sometimes, but I had a childhood being scared to be me, tummyaches all the time for the stress and work, physical and mental symptoms getting slowly worse with time, and buhu, i had it so bad, millon kids had it a millon times worse, but it still wasn't plesant and 10/10 would not recomend! It's been about 20 years since I had the lightbulb moment what might be going on with me, had no idea how to move forward, thought it cost a lot of money to get it checked out, didn't have any money, now, at the end of my 30's i get it, so not learned how to stopp the long rants, but it get here some day, maybe when I get on the medication, start testing soon, which I look very much forward too. The moment i went from wondering if I had it, to knowing without knowing, if you get it, was one night after way to much alcohol, and a supersurge in inpulsivity, have it all the time, but it usually just make me online shop to much or buy something unhealty stuff to eat , and waaay to much of it, I want chips, candy, chocolate, some cookies or baked goods, and some full fat soda, and eat everything today? Sure go ahead, no worries,
But that night i did that one illegal thing, that if someone with adhd do it, their reaction to it is almost polar oposite of normal people?
It was the best few hours of my life, I hade peace and quiet , and a lot of the unvolentairy movements took a little break for the first time that I could remember,
It was the best thing I ever did, and that scared the shit out of me, and I kept away after,
that peace and quiet could had me addicted if I got to have it one to many times,
could most done a few times before stopping, but it was better to be safe than sorry,
and I have not felt peace since, that is what 18 years ago,
so even if I know the medication wont be the same, anything resembling something less than now will be 1 millon times better..
So now dont just a 500 mile long post, but a bonus 450 mile long explenation about the 500 mile post, so if you actually took the time to read it all:

and I need a very long youtube short break, that is what I use to be stimulated non stop, but they are short and switch all the time,
so I don't have to keep my fokus , attention and keep track of everything and remembering things like with movies and shows,
and they don't make me overstimulated,
the sound keeps my volume att 11 kaos more easy to handle,
once every leapyear i even get so into things on the shorts,
i ignore my kaos a little, just some minutes like around 5 or so at the most, but its Nice,
that is where I'm headed, and I'm not coming out for hours.

I feel like I'm losing my mind, I am constantly drained and I have lost all my desire to live, I just do it from inertia. I've read about narcissists and I started thinking that my partner may be one, but now I am so confused and I am starting to believe that maybe I am the narcissist, maybe I am the problem and I can't think straight.
I nag a lot about things that he refused to do, even if I asked him multiple times. And I'm referring to basic things for an functional adult - taking out the trash, cleaning after himself, washing his clothes. If I don't tell him to do it, he doesn't do it, if I tell him maybe he will do it but afterwards he would complain that I am always so negative (because I told him again to wipe off his piss from the bathroom floor), that I am always giving him chores (I do my part of household chores, I often do his part too). When I'm asking for help and I complain that I'm always taking care of the house on my own, and I'm so tired of repeating everyday the same things, I become this vile person -his words- who only wants to control him, who is always negative and upset, who is always nagging, who wants to destroy his mental health. He starts screaming, yelling, cursing me and my family, he tells me that he can't stand me anymore, that I should find another man, that he doesn't want me anymore and so on.
The next day he acts like nothing happened, like he did not verbally abuse me, like it is my fault and he is entitled to be mad at me. He expects me to say that I'm sorry and apologize profusely, even if he would not apologize for the things he says.
When we are in public after a fight -with friends or family, he acts very kindly towards me, and when we get home, his behavior shifts and he is giving me the silent treatment, or he is stonewalling me. It's like he is an entirely another person in public.
He often says mean things to me, and after 5-10 minutes he says no that's not the truth, I never said that. He denies all the things he does or tells and he is lying about what I do and tell. He would say that I sent him messages and called him names, and when I show him the conversations and ask him to show me when and where did I do that (because he lies), he shifts the conversation to another accusation, and he returns to the first accusation after a while (the name calling one), and then bounces back to another false accusation previously discussed, and he does that, throws false accusations at me, over and over again, until I am literally dizzy and too tired to defend myself and I give up.
He started a fight in front of his parents (after I told him that his behavior indicates that he is a narc) telling them that I am not normal, that I abuse him by saying that he is a narc, that I want to manipulate him by making kim think that he is a narc. He basically told them that I said that he is manipulative and abusing, without telling them that he doesn't allow me to speak, that he starts to yell at the slightest inconvenience, that he is cursing me and my family over the smallest things, that he sometimes wouldn't let me work, he would stay next to me and yell at me during my working hours (we both work from home), he wouldn't do anything for me, for our home, for our relationship, if I don't ask for it, and when I ask him, there's a big chance that he wouldn't do it and start a fight.
We unfortunately share a home and a mortgage. He threats me that he will leave, I says ok please do, and he doesn't do it. I want to break up with him, sell the house, pay the mortgage and split the remaining money, but he doesn't want it, even if when he is arguing to me he says ok let's sell it. When it comes to a serious discussion, he backs down. I feel stuck in this home with him, he doesn't want to leave/sell his part to me/sell the whole house. He only threats me with this because he thinks that this way I will shut up my mouth.
I think that he genuinely enjoys the conflict, the yelling the cursing. It's like fuel for him. He plays the victim card but the next day he rises and shines, he is literally unbothered by anything, he gives me the silent treatment, while I'm thinking, crying, trying to speak to him, trying to communicate, trying to find ways to talk about our relationship. Neah, nothing touches him.
I feel like everyday I'm running on a hamster wheel, everyday the same loops, nothing changes, nothing gets better. We fight, he hurts me, I cry and overthink about the fight, he acts normal, he would maaaybe buy me flowers and cook dinner, and the next time I bring up something that hurts me we start all over again. And so I began asking myself if I'm the problem, maybe all of it is in my head, I started doubting my actions and my words, I started thinking that maybe I'm mentally ill, but in the middle of the fights, when I hear how he speaks, how he curses me, how he makes fun of my parents I am convinced that this is not a normal response to my "please do the laundry". But after the fight he would deny that he said or spoke those words He would tell me that I have the blame for the way he is acting, and if I want him to be nice to me and not curse me, I shouldn't tell him negative stuff such as reminding him about house chores. After a fight I am so drained I cannot think straight, I cannot work, I cannot eat, I cannot do anything besides stare at the walls and cry.

Ok, while thinking over the events, and reading Feast for Crows, I found a specific line in a Cersei chapter that had me thinking.
I know most of us are aware that Blood was a former gold cloak brute who was hired by Daemon to carry out the murder of one of Aegon's sons, while Cheese was hired to help navigate the secret passages of the Red Keep, as a ratcatcher he knew them like the back of his hand. After the murder takes place, we know Blood is captured two days later at the Gate of the Gods with a bloody bag. He was severely tortured for 13 days, revealing that he was going to bring the head to Daemon at Harrenhal.
Now we know all the people involved were Daemon, Mysaria, Blood and Cheese. Daemon dies from splattering on the surface of the Gods Eye lake and becoming fish food most likely. Mysaria gets whipped to death and dies naked on the cobblestones, Blood is tortured for 13 days then dies, but Cheese is the odd one out that goes missing completely and never is mentioned again.
So it had me thinking, all of these people die but one of them just happens to get away scott free, never seen again conveniently. I at first thought it was just a simple plot hole that George forgot to go back to, but when reading over a Cersei chapter in Feast where it is describing Jaime's findings when searching for Tyrion in the walls, this excerpt is mentioned,
A passage to the black cells had been found, and a stone well that seemed to have no bottom. They had found a chamber full of skulls and yellowed bones, and four sacks of tarnished silver coins from the reign of the first King Viserys. They had found a thousand rats as well... but neither Tyrion nor Varys had been amongst them,
The basis of the theory I'm getting at, is that these yellowed bones are Cheese's, the sacks of coin are the payment he was given by Daemon through Mysaria most likely. Now how Cheese died is the big question. I think what happened is after the events of B&C took place, they fled back into the walls, into the deeper parts of the castle, Cheese led him to where he stashed the bags of silver before they went up to commit the murder. Cheese was in this for the money, not so much because of loyalty for Daemon. Blood was though, he was a brute and an idiot, I think he fatally wounded Cheese, didn't care about the money, he considered Cheese a loose end and may have been told to do it by Mysaria. He then left him there where he was found later by rats and consumed till nothing was left but rotten bones. Blood was alone because he had already disposed of Cheese. The thousand rats are a giveaway to this ratcatcher's fate also, most likely drawn to the remains.
Also fun extra detail but the chamber full of skulls was probably all the people who helped build the red keep in Maegor's era, who he killed, probably sealed them away deep in the castle, out of sight, out of mind.

"Hope, guts and pride" is the name of the coalition agreement of PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB. In 26 pages they spell out what they plan to do. "Whether it's about security of existence, care or money in the wallet, or the availability of sufficient housing, our ambition is great," the four write in the introduction to what they themselves call an outline agreement. "We also want to reverse the far too high influx of asylum seekers and immigrants. We want farmers, gardeners and fishermen to have a future again." The new coalition has broken down the intended policies, many of which still have to be worked out by the future cabinet, into 10 chapters. Below are the main points for each chapter:

Subsistence security and purchasing power

The four parties have agreed that the deductible in health care will be more than halved. This will only happen in 2027, because earlier would not be possible. Now there is still a mandatory deductible of 385 euros per year. That would then become 165 euros per year. Furthermore, the coalition wants a reduction in the burden on labor "for example by introducing an extra bracket in the Income Tax." And the four want to encourage job security, improve debt relief and make child care almost free for parents.

Grip on asylum and migration

As announced, the coalition is heading for the strictest asylum package ever. Thus there will be a temporary Asylum Crisis Act with crisis measures. In the event of a "crisis," far-reaching measures can be taken. The indefinite asylum permit will be abolished and the temporary residence permit will be modified. Asylum seekers who have been rejected will be "deported as much as possible, including by force." Also, asylum seekers with residency permits will no longer be given priority in the allocation of social housing. Automatic family reunification will also be scrapped, and the number of people allowed to chain migrate will be "severely restricted." The agreement also states that the dispersal law is to be undone (much to the chagrin of the law's creator). The new coalition wants to repeal the law, which has already been passed by both the House and Senate. Furthermore, the coalition wants to seek permission from the European Commission not to participate in European asylum and migration policy, and wants more border control and the introduction of the dual status system. Asylum is not the only form of migration the coalition wants to combat. There will be additional requirements for migrant workers from outside the EU, and "malicious temporary employment structures" will be cracked down on. Study migration will be curbed, including by offering more courses in Dutch, a cap on foreign students and an increase in tuition fees for non-EU students. As for civic integration, the four want knowledge of the Holocaust to become mandatory and language requirements to be raised. Under the same heading is regulation of amplified prayer calls [of mosques].

(Public) housing, infrastructure, public transportation and aviation

Structurally, 100,000 new homes must be added each year. One way to do this is to make more land available for building. "'Adding streets, inside and outside of cities." the agreement states. Procedures to build must also be accelerated. For people who already own a home, the coalition wants to curb rent increases (in social housing). Of new construction, at least 30 percent on average must be for social rent. For homeowners, the increase in property taxes will be capped. And also important for this group: "there will be no tampering with the mortgage interest tax deduction." In terms of infrastructure, 130 kilometers per hour may be driven "whereever possible" again, including during the day. Furthermore, the accessibility of rural areas must be improved "by strengthening bus transport between village centers in the countryside" and the construction of the Lelylijn, a train connection between Lelystad and Groningen, will continue.

Agriculture and fisheries, food security, and nature

Regarding agriculture, the BBB's spearhead, the coalition wants to "pull out all the stops" to adapt European directives. Efforts are being made to adapt the Nitrates Directive and "recalibrate" Natura 2000 areas. "Aimed at a main structure of robust nature areas instead of 'snippet nature'." The agreement also states that the Netherlands should no longer pursue a more ambitious nature policy than the rest of Europe. The coalition does not want a forced reduction of livestock. Nor should there be any forced expropriation. However, there should be generous voluntary buyouts and plenty of effort should be put into innovation in agriculture. Striking: the cheaper "red diesel" is coming back for farmers, horticulturists and contract workers. Despite the fact that in 2013, that low excise tax rate for diesel was actually scrapped.

Energy, security of supply and climate adaptation

In terms of climate policy, the coalition wants to stick to existing goals, the agreement states. "Only if we fail to meet the targets will we make alternative policies," it says. The climate fund also remains intact. From that billion dollar fund, established by the current cabinet, climate measures are financed. The fund also provides money for the development of nuclear energy. The new coalition is heading for four large new nuclear power plants, and not two, as previously thought. The parties want to focus on more energy independence and own sustainable energy production. Furthermore, the heat pump will not be made mandatory after all. The current cabinet had thought of that, but it has been scrapped. Subsidies for electric cars to be scrapped by 2025.

Public facilities, healthcare and education

The four parties want to strengthen primary care, including general practitioner, district nursing and informal care. Furthermore, working in care (where there is a large staff shortage) must become more attractive. This should be done "by means of more autonomy, career prospects, good working conditions and limitation of regulatory and administrative burdens." There should also be better care for the elderly. In terms of education, teaching methods used should be "proven effective and otherwise politically neutral" and 'Englishification' should be reduced. On medical ethics, everything remains as it is. "The legal frameworks remain unchanged" around embryos, abortion and euthanasia.

Good governance and strong rule of law

The coalition is sorting out a new electoral system for the House of Representatives. Exactly what that should look like remains to be determined. In any case, it should strengthen "the regional link between voters and elected officials." The intention is to have the system in place by the next elections. Furthermore, steps must be taken for a constitutional revision so that laws can be tested against the Constitution. And by extension, steps should also be taken for the formation of a constitutional court to conduct constitutional review (a fervent wish of NSC leader Pieter Omtzigt). There will also be "a right to err". "A single mistake can no longer push a citizen deep into trouble," the new coalition believes. Dunning and collection costs of the government will be sharply reduced. Also, the number of civil servants and consultants in the government is to be cut, and a cut of one hundred million euros has been booked for public broadcasting. Hotel stays will become more expensive because the VAT rate will return to 21 percent. VAT on cultural goods and services will also go up, but not for cinemas and day recreation.

Domestic security

In the area of security in the Netherlands, the four want to strengthen the approach to organized crime. "Greater efforts will be made to confiscate assets" and "the anti-money laundering approach will be intensified." There will also be harsher penalties for serious crimes such as terror and serious acts of violence and sex offenses. The juvenile justice system will be made tougher, including by increasing maximum sentences.

International security

"The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine politically, militarily, financially and morally against Russian aggression," the agreement reads. The NATO standard of 2 percent for defense is to be made legally binding. And controversially, there is to be an examination of "when relocation of the embassy to Jerusalem can take place at an appropriate time." Most countries have their embassies in Tel Aviv because of Jerusalem's complex status.

Public finances, economy and business climate

The business climate must be improved, the new coalition believes. And so recent tax increases for entrepreneurs will be partially reversed. This includes an increase in the energy tax. The forming parties have agreed to eventually save 14.7 billion euros per year. The same amount of additional spending (tax relief and investments) will be spent in return. On balance, spending will eventually be reduced by 4.7 billion euros per year.

My "pen" name is Kairi Aoyama.
I'm looking for assistants to finally be able to draw the manga for a story I've been planning for a while.
First, let me tell you about the story and then the details of what I'm looking for.
The story follows Lily Valse, a young woman trying to achieve her dream of becoming a professional singer and leader of her own band. After being deceived by her previous group, Lily meets Mia Akabane, a musician trying to become a writer, and both will try to achieve their dreams together as they discuss topics like finding your place in the adult world, dreams, failure, and the daily fight to try to achieve your goals.
The story has a relaxed and joyful tone, yet it can get romantic and dramatic at some points. If you're still interested, please keep reading.
I'm looking for assistants. I can't offer any payments because I'm not in a good financial situation. Yet, as an artist myself I don't take work for granted. I'll be doing most of the work. I just need a couple of people to help me with whatever. A page, a panel, or even the script would be really helpful. Once again, I'll be doing most of it, and any revenue we make (which is the goal) will be divided proportionally.
The only requirements are the following:

Have some free time. Again, this is not a job and I'm not paying for your time properly (yet). But I'd require to at least have some free time. I know school or work can get heavy, but I'm looking forward to someone who has some time available. Not a lot, but like I said, if I ask you for help in a panel and you're going on a two-week vacation to Europe, then things won't work out. Just a certain amount of time a day would be fine. An hour or two would be a good place to start
Have Clip Studio Paint (or Photoshop). That's the tool we work with and I think it is very helpful. Other software can work well but sharing files might get tricky. If you have any experience using other programs with CSP or Photoshop files without problems, please let me know.
You don't need to know how to draw. If you can draw lines in different intensities naturally, then you will be my savior.
Be over 18+ The story won't have any NSFW content but I'd still prefer that you'd be over the age of 18 so we don't have problems with maybe discussing mature topics, anatomy or even being way too young to be on the internet and hence, putting our project in a delicate situation.
Speak English fluently. I also speak Spanish but I bet most people here talk in English so, it'd be preferable that we all could communicate.
In case it wasn't clear, the two main leads are girls and will fall in love. The story doesn't explore in-depth themes of sexual preferences as they are established as something normal. If you have any problems with said topic, I think this isn't the story for you.

If any of you are interested, I'd be thankful. I've been preparing myself to write this story for nearly two years but I know I can't do it alone. It will be a mountain to climb but I will do it cause this is what I dreamed for so long.

I guess I should start with (35M), I honestly don't know if that's the right way. Nothing makes sense anymore.
I've been suffering with this horrific disease now since 2008. I had a series of bad injuries in the military I don't want to get into that. But the doctors say my major depressive order stemmed from that. I've been fighting it for years now. This post December I finally decided to try to get my life and health on track and I went to a primary physician. They had the mental health screening on the forms that I had to fill out. All these years I've always lied and just march everything good, everything's fine, everything's perfect. You know the usual fucking bullshit fake smile that we have all put on for the world so they don't know the deep dark black hole that infects our chests. I don't know what changed, I filled it out as honestly as I could in my score came back horrifically. I want to say it was a 21 testing and I scored 17. Before I could even get the words out to ask if it's bad My doctor said yeah we need to get you on some meds. I started off on 50 mg sertraline and 50 mg trazodone because I was not sleeping anymore. I started noticing the effects rather quickly. Everything was starting to feel much better. I started eating again, I started sleeping again, I even started smiling again, genuine real smiles. Then in March, I started having noticeable declines and my doctor bumped me up to 100 mg sertaline. Again same trend where everything started picking up and feeling good, feeling normal, feeling right. April comes along, I catch COVID while working across the country. I come home to recover and was home for 3 weeks. I was absolutely miserable the whole time despite taking my meds. I honestly was hoping the COVID would kill me at that point. Because how I felt from having it, and just my general mental health. Three and a half weeks goes by, I finally get to go back to work. Not even a week later, my boss says we need to have a meeting. It wasn't a meeting, there's never any intention of a meeting according to co-workers. My supervisor whined moaned and complained the whole time I was gone that we were losing revenue because of me. They talked about firing me the whole time.
Now I'm sitting here broke, alone, depressed, in my bedroom. I've been searching for over a week for employment. And honestly at this point, it doesn't look like I'm going to find anything quick enough to be able to pay for rent because of all this. I've hit a point where I feel like I've let my friends/roommates down. I'm at a point where I feel like I'm an absolute failure. My meds aren't working, I'm barely eating, I'm barely sleeping, I can barely get the interest to play my games. I turn my Xbox on and I just look at the TV. I feel like I'm a broken shell of a human being at this point. Sadly I feel like I'm starting to move on from passive suicidal ideation, into something much more terrifying. I can't bear the thought of being homeless, and even worse having to go through SSRI withdrawals because I don't have insurance or money for my medicine now. I just want this pain to stop. I just want to feel normal. I don't know what I'm doing wrong in my life.

I can enjoy an evening out with friends just as much as the silence of sitting at the shores of the river and watching the sunset in solitude (although I've been craving to watch it together with a partner for a really long time now). I can be out in a pub, at a rave, a metal show or at a football game and have the time of my life, but I cannot do these things every day; I need recharge time (on the sofa, in the woods for a run, a lazy Sunday staying in bed etc.). Although similar hobbies and interests are a plus, emotional and intimate compatibility are more important to me. I've had my share of emotionally unavailable women who were afraid of intimacy so I know I can't deal with that again because of the way how those things affect me. I am always emotionally invested with the woman I pursue and in those cases that was to my detriment. But my ability to feel so deep is also something I wouldn't want to change because as of yet, although it's getting harder, I haven't given up on finding someone.
With those emotional needs come two requirements that I found to be vital over the years: First, being able to be silly and cutesy together and to accept each other's inner child and care for it. I am not talking about having to deal with another person's immaturity or inability to perform basic adult skills, rather with the way sadness, hurt, anxiety and being overwhelmed manifests for me (and maybe for you, too?). I need someone who is able to comfort me, to hold me, to allow me to be weak and needy for a while until I've calmed down, and I'm more than ready to offer the same. Your inner child can come out for a while, no problem (: Also in a positive way: Thankfully, today everyone seems to be understanding of the cuteness overload cats (or any animal baby, really) can cause; I need that with a partner. I also still have plushies as comfort animals and ideally, you do too.
Apparently in every relationship, one person is the stronger one. In the past, I have been with women who obviously were stronger than me, but that doesn't mean they always had to be strong, far from it. I certainly need to be able to feel protected, but it's not like I'm a particularly needy partner, like everyone, I have my ups and downs, but I can pull my weight and have been told by past partners that I am very caring and that they felt safe and understood with me, and providing that for my partner is really important for me as well.
Second, intimate compatibility. I am rather insatiable and love to experiment when it comes to the bedroom, so you should, too, in order that we can explore and enjoy together. I found out how fulfilling living out those fantasies can be after years of never being able to try and in a relationship, this kind of fulfillment for both partners is a must for me. I found the term 'filthy best friends and partners' to be a perfect description.
I'm looking for a balance between healthy independence and being emotionally present. A relationship where we 'get' each other; we're both each other's number one and treat each other like royalty. Where a disagreement leads to more intimacy between us as we understand better, not to resentment. Where we're comfortable baring our souls to each other, becoming a safe haven and secure base for each other. I don't like the modern notion that you 'should never feel too safe in a relationship' because that sounds like running from the mafia (and believe me, I love mafia movies); you should always put in effort, yes, but safety is one of the things I always want to experience and provide in a relationship. We shouldn't fear that a disagreement leads straight to breakup. I know ‘self-sufficiency’ is trending right now, but I feel like as partners, we’re partly responsible for each other and not our own but also each other’s happiness. Being dependant and dependable at the same time is important; making each other’s wellbeing a priority. If you’re not able to healthily depend on someone and their support while you’re having a hard time, look elsewhere. If I have to be afraid you’ll run at the first major problem that surfaces, even if it’s a ‘you’-problem, it’s not going to work. I think that all things can and need to be talked about. If you think ignoring someone for days is a form of communication, please look elsewhere.
I am looking for someone real. We all have our problems, I don't want or need a 'perfect' person. You don't have everything figured out or 'all your shit' together. Be imperfect. Admit when you feel sad and angry, lonely, hopeless or even helpless – it's all relatable. Don't hide it. Be quirky, be dorky, be witchy, opinionated, be yourself. Don't pretend.
I'm looking for someone to share romance with. Not great gestures, but small, meaningful ones. Poems for each other, expressing our feelings; cards with heartfelt messages that we put our perfume/cologne on, and a symbol that means something to us only, the print of your lips with lipstick, the way I sign and seal my letters for you.
Just as important to me is agreeing on living a healthy life, staying in shape both for ourselves and for each other, regularly working out and eating healthy. I am drug and disease-free and expect the same of you. I do drink as I love a good beer or glass of wine, rum or whiskey, but I've never really been drinking much and especially during the past year have further reduced it. One vice I have is that I enjoy a couple of cigars a year, but I can definitely accommodate you in this regard.
Another important point is aligned life goals: I value safety more than adventure. I want to build a home together with my partner, a safespace for the both of us, where we always feel loved and protected, a place that we create together, make it cozy together so we just love to get back home there wherever we might have been, a home we decorate together for Halloween (my favourite holiday) or Christmas or Springtime, as we live in tune with the seasons, enjoying nature on a walk or the rain outside, reading in our cozy home. I value stability and harmony.
Appearance-wise, I am into ladies on the smaller side), so I'm looking for someone petite/slim/skinny/healthy-fit. Likewise, I am not really muscular and don't have visible abs; like I said, I'm a runner, so if you're more into the gym-type, I'm not a good fit.
I’d prefer to move from text to voice calls, videochat and then meeting up, all of that rather sooner than later. Not that there’s a need to rush anything, but I’d rather see earlier if we’re compatible or not; as someone who catches feelings fast I need to protect myself.
Caveats

I don't like travelling as it stresses me out; I don't mind being somewhere else for a week or two, but the organisation part of it drains my energy very quickly and dealing with stuff that doesn't work out is overwhelming to me. Smaller trips are ok, but I'm not the right person to travel the world with.

I don't want children and had a vasectomy
I need space for my own projects/time to recharge after social interaction.
While I feel like I am in tune with my inner child and working on/with it through therapy, I realise this is something that could be a turn-off for people.
I have been diagnosed with depressive episodes in the past and am taking anti-depressants right now. I realise that I am a work in progress, maybe more so than in times past, but I manage and the fact that I'm putting myself out here is based on me being ready to get to know someone new.
I want to create a home together here, as I'm firmly rooted where I was born; I realise this is a lot to ask, but I have seen many people here being open to moving, so I want to at least try reaching out to them.
