What’s going on with kick? Since launch things were moving in a nice direction but I don’t see any updates happening soon? Chat is laggy sometimes don’t work. You still can’t sub on mobile but can gift subs? Frequent bugs with logging in. Site just seems stale. The incentive program is cool if you can reach those metrics but other than that I don’t see what’s appealing. When I stream on kick I get tons of bots.
What updates are happening? A lot of FBG streamers switched over and hyped it up and that’s really it.
I’m was a fan of kick but it seems nothing is happening with any improvements or features.
Thoughts? Twitch payout sucks but I think I might go back.

Hi....sorry in advance as this is going to be long post.....I've recently completed my final yr n currently doing my internship......I've never had problem making friends up until I joined college....it all started in the ending of my 1st yr where me n my best friend grew apart..from my side it was bcoz I was never able to be myself wid her she didn't like me being in a Ldr n hence I never felt I could talk wid her abt my relationship n she really liked going out a lot n making lots of friends where as I was kind of stay at hostel types....anyways she stopped talking I stopped too but I confronted her multiple times abt it n cried a lot too...she never gave any legid reason for her behaviour change like I never broke her trust never bitched abt her n always went out wid her most of the times whenever she asked....she just said she hated me n tht I was not a good person.....I started making friends again in 3rd but i don't think much before getting close to someone if I like them n consider them my friend I do everything I can for a friend....after getting close to them didn't like any of them bcoz of cunning n selfish they were n how they would yell at me.... finally I got close to one of my batchmates whom none of my friends liked n warned me tht she's too clever n is being wid us only bcoz her friends had a fight wid her....the dumdfuck I was thought tht we should always defend our friends n my previous friends just didn't like how close we were n stopped talking to me.......lets call this friend Eva...soon another batchmate let's call her Anna got close wid us n we 3 spent a lot of time together but ppl were right about Eva bcoz she started distancing herself from us as soon as her previous friends started speaking wid her again....n by tht point I had got frustrated wid her too as she would always ask me why I didn't tell her n go out wid my friend(from another college) n when I went home once she completely ghosted Anna n left her alone so I stood up for Anna n defended her....it was just me n Anna n it was all fine until I started extremely lonely n disturbances wid my bf started too around this time....she would never ask me what happened or even if I would start speaking she wouldn't pay attention...I admitted to her 1 day tht I feel lonely even wid her being my friend n she started saying everyone has a problem wid her bf n the fact tht she's dating(her previous best friend too stopped talking to her due to this apparently)but I didn't mean tht n ik how much it hurts when ur best friend doesn't accept ur bf I experienced it in 1st yr.....but she would never understand what I'm trying to tell her like for example if I need to buy something or go out I've to do it alone but she would either call her bf or ask me.....but whenever I would ask her she would make faces like she's not interested n I'm too scared of rejection so I stopped asking her......we both later made another friend Jay who initially used to joke around tht he had a crush on me n would always joke around me....one day she comes to me n tells me she asked Jay's friends who they had a crush on me or Anna n they all said Anna n then she further asked them why her when I'm more prettier than she is...n they apparently said she fair that's it she doesn't have a good face...she comes n tells me all this.....n I didn't really feel bad for what they said but the fact tht she asked them something like tht just to hear them put me down n comeback n tell me all this again hurt me a lot....I just left it thinking it's kk maybe she wants a lot of male attention n left it.... during final yr exams she stopped talking to me all of a sudden 1 day when she saw me studying in the morning....I went through hell studying for practicals bcoz I had lost all my previous friends due to defending Eva whom by the way they r all talking wid now!!! I tried posting this yesterday and it didn’t work, so I’m hoping it works now. I read this sub wasn’t just for grieving passed loved ones, but also for people we just parted with in life for whatever reason. I was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar to what I’ve experienced so here’s my story:
4 years ago, I lost my best friend. He didn’t die, he ghosted me. He and I were in a way perfect for each other. No romance between us, he was gay, and I’m female. We hung out together often, and texted each other a lot. We could talk about anything and we totally understood each other. When the pandemic hit, he and I could no longer go out, I wanted to have video chat dinners with him, but he refused. We instead just called and texted each other. Eventually, he and I safely met in my home, and had a socially distanced dinner together. It was still the same lovely relationship, even though we hadn’t seen each other in months.
A couple of months after this face to face dinner, he slowly starts changing. He’d go off on me while texting, spelling in all caps, pissed off over stupid things. Our favorite singer had just released an album at the time, and since he and I were both fans, we listened to it then compared notes later in the day. He told me he wasn’t a fan of it and I agreed that I wasn’t either. He immediately started getting mad at me for not liking her music. I didn’t understand why he was yelling at me over something so silly. I didn’t bash her, and I still love her and her other music, I just wasn’t a fan of that particular album. I stopped responding when I asked him why he was starting an argument over something so minor, and he told me he didn’t know. I went to bed with him still blowing up my phone about me being a horrible person for not liking her new music. I didn’t want to engage in such a stupid argument, so I figured in a few days we’ll be okay again, and he was just upset at something else and took it out on me. Wrong he did that, but whatever. I didn’t get an apology once we started talking again days later.
Time passes and he starts again, starting arguments over stupid stuff again. I figured the pandemic was really hurting him, and I had nothing but sympathy for him. It was impacting me too, but I wasn’t taking it out on him. I was always his shoulder to cry on and comforted him, I had no problem with this. After like a couple of months of him starting petty arguments, I get fed up of being his emotional punching bag. I tell him in a kind way that he never apologizes to me, I’m tired of being called names, and being screamed at. He apologizes, but says that the album thing broke the camel’s back and we’re not compatible as friends.
I started crying. My best friend in the whole world, was telling me he didn’t want to be friends with me anymore because of some singer’s album. I tell him I’m crying (we were texting at that time) and that I love him and miss him so much, does he not even love me back? I was freaking out cause I didn’t understand how in the world it had come to this. Our friendship was years old, not months. He and I had been through a lot together, I was always there for him and he was always there for me. We were two peas in a pod. He told me it was complicated, he loved me, and that he’d be going to bed for the night since he had an early morning. I told him that I hoped in the morning he still remembered me.
After these last texts, a week passed with no communication from either me or him, and I figured things between us had cooled down, so I texted him, asking if he was okay. He never answered. I’ve never heard from him at all to this day. I knew he was alive cause I had a friend who worked at the same place he did, different departments. They weren’t and still aren’t friends to this day, she said she’d see him at work and he’d awkwardly wave at her. She’d wave back, but she was always pissed off when she saw him for the pain he caused me. She works somewhere else now, so she no longer runs into him.
I miss him, and have never found someone I connect with as well as I connected with him. I still love him, and I sometimes dream of him. I’m sure he doesn’t think about me at all, and never cried over me. I feel like I’m going to grieve our friendship forever. I truly thought he’d be the uncle to my future children and I’d be the aunt to his future children. I thought I’d be the best woman at his wedding and he’d be the man of honor at mine. I’m probably better off since he turned into a toxic person, but it’s hard not having someone in your life that you still love and they’re alive. I have made new friends since, so it’s not like I’ve never moved on, I just have never had another best friend. I never really understood why he left, I assume the pandemic was messing with his head; It messed with mine, and I’m not saying I was this perfect person who never got mad or anything.
Has anybody gone through something similar? Does the pain ever go away? Did you ever get closure?
I was inspired to write this post after watching ‘Mother of the Bride’ recently. It’s about two exes who haven’t seen each other in years reuniting, because the kids they had in different relationships are getting married to each other. I started wondering if my future kid would meet his future kid or niece/nephew (since he was almost a second parent to them) would meet and we’d see each other again.

Hello! Hoping to get some advice on my pc!!!
I built it a few years ago and it has worked perfectly until a month ago! It got stuck in a boot loop(?) and wouldn’t get past the windows log in screen. And now I’m unable to set up windows at all
I’ve essentially rebuilt it aside from the case and fans at this point and I’m still having issues. But here’s everything I’ve done so far:
-standard repair options (reset to a fixed point in time, uninstalling recent updates, etc) -wiped the entire pc using “reset my pc” (both options, keeping files and then removing them completely) -MULTIPLE clean installs of windows from a usb (both 10 and 11, just to see if it’d make any difference) -new ram -new SSD -new power supply -new motherboard -new gpu -updated bios -quadruple checked all cable connections
I’ve tried every option it gave me in the advanced trouble shooting options, and done every command prompt I could find from other Reddit posts/Microsoft forums.
Startup repair cannot repair and says Log file: C :/windows/system32/logfiles/srt/srttrail.txt
If anyone has any insight that would be super helpful!!!!!

Hi fellow darts fans. My name's Dave and I play for a local league in the Midlands in the UK, and I've become totally addicted to darts over the last few months! I'm a web and mobile developer in my day job, and am looking to do a personal project in my spare time.
I was wondering if any of you have any ideas or pain-points in your darting life that a website or mobile app could help with? There are plenty of scoring sites/apps and practice apps, so don't want to do anything like that, but looking for something fresh that could solve a real-world issue you may be having. i was thinking of having an app that brings together all the league results and fixtures in the UK, but the data is so inconsistent from league to league, it would be quite a problem.

I'm in the process of finalizing a house with floor heating throughout. We are installing an Oso EPC 360 to supply heat to the floor and hot water. We are using the EPC because it provides a good starting point for further expansion with an energy well or an air-to-water heat pump.
But then, I’m a bit of a nerd... About 10 years ago, I did a fair amount of mining with a 1.2 kW miner. I turned it off because I needed the SIM card from my mobile phone for an iPad on a holiday trip... and I never turned it on again. Guess if I regret that today...
Then I talked to a friend who is a plumber about this liquid-cooled miner. And dumping the heat into the floor and tap water. He told me he had two friends who did exactly that. If I buy 20 kWh per day and use it for a heating element or a miner where I capture the heat, the end result is the same (and the load on the power grid).
So now my mind is seriously churning! Does anyone out there have experience with such systems?
If there is no consumption of tap water and the temperature is relatively high, there will be no significant cooling. How have people solved such problems? An extra cooler on the wall with a fan on a thermostat?
And how sensitive are these miners to temperature fluctuations? With three boys, I imagine there will be quite a bit of hot water used for showering after training and such. So the cooling would be substantial. But nothing at night. So the fluctuations will vary between 5 and 40 degrees...
Before the eventual construction of such a system, there will of course be the production of schematic drawings. Both hydraulic and electrical. But if people's experiences are that this doesn't work, then I need to rethink this...

I was discussing on another community about game industry and gacha games in general. It is widelly assumed that gacha games are an easy way to make a quick bucks. Which I won't deny sharing the opinion. However, someone pointed out that it also brings Exposure. Gachas are a way to make game startup companies/studios known in this day and age.
By now, I'm sure everyone here knows of MiHoYo/HoYoverse. Whom made Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, among other gacha/mobile games. However, there was something I didn't know about the company. Their first games weren't free gachas games, but games with an actual price tags. However, it seems those games didn't bring much profit due to piracy. I don't know if those games were considered good, but, from what I've understood, those games sells number definitely did not help the company have a good start.
I'm not really smart, so I'll resume the line of though (and vague memory of arguments others pointed out at the time) that bring me to this question in bullet point.

• 29-30 march 2023, Crunchyroll anounced the EoS of the Global version of Princess Connect Re:Dive
• According to the schedule (based on JP hisctory) in more than one month Kokkoro (a very popular character) would have seen the release of her "Princess form" unit.
• (Theory) Possibly due to the news hitting the Kokkoro's fan (a vast majority of the community, if I'm not mistaking) harder, the backlash of the announcement is heavy.
• However, when looking at the sells, it wouldn't be unexpected from Crunchyroll to vault the game, as it wasn't nearly as successful as in Japan. Most likely due to the meta already being known leading to generally less expanse from the players
  • I myself skipped banners, unless they were for meta, collabs or limited-time units I really wanted
  • I think someone even called it from the very beginning, that the game wouldn't work so well.
• Due to the backlash and people bringing up Crunchyroll past history in vaulting games after a 1-2 years, they made the mistake to remove that info from their website. Leading to a bigger backlash from the community.
• That poor decision, is what makes the story bigger than it actually is. + the fact that they were about to release a gacha based on a more successful (non-anime, and in quote "less niche") franchise.
• Since Crunchyroll doesn't need exposure, as much as startup companies need it, they were loosing more than they were gaining from Princess Connect.

Had Crunchyroll made the announcement a few months later, after the hype for Princess Kokkoro died down, would the resulting (first) backlash had be more, less or as severe?
As I said, what really was the problem is how they choose to deal with the first backlash, by removing all mentions of the vaulted games. Though this was in response to how the people choose to paint a bad portrait of them following the EoS announcement. The second backlash seems to have kept the embers from the first from dying out sooner than it actually did.

  • Dinner summary/highlights: They're getting used to "living" on camera, so they try to find entertaining things to do/say so the audience don't get bored.
    • General explanation: a lot of Thai humour involves language and wordplay, so a lot of the jokes involve those. Luke sometimes has a bit of a hard time following (but I have to say that his level of Thai is extremely impressive).
    • The other participants very gently and playfully tease Luke for his Thai sometimes, but they're also curious about the US and life abroad, so they ask Luke about American cuisine, whether there's anything spicy there, etc. Some of them also want to improve their English, so they ask questions and practice with him.
    • Around 42:30, they realise that they need to wash dishes, so they start negotiating who's going to wash dishes. There's also some regret about using plates instead of eating from the original food containers. Khaotung and Mix wash while the others give them "moral support."
• 54:00 In the game room, Neo and Pond try to make some language jokes and wordplay with Luke. Example: "Which language can open and close?" Answer: "Swedish" (Because when you say it in Thai, it sounds kind of like the English word "switch" said in a Thai accent). Luke tries to tell the "why does the chicken cross the road" but translated to Thai, etc.
• Around 59:00, Earth, Gun, and Phuwin join and play some of the games that were on the coffee table, such as Jenga, and a thing that makes impressions of whatever you put in the frame. At around 1:04:00, Gun loses Jenga, so the punishment is pushups.
• 1:06:00 They play darts; the punishment for the losers is washing dishes after breakfast tomorrow. Phuwin loses. Everyone continues playing games for fun (darts, table football, etc.)
• 1:14:00 PD announces the first competition for "medals" (official competitive points on the scoreboard). Game is called "What the Face?" sponsored by Canon. Gun and Phuwin are team leaders and take turns choosing who they want on their own team. Each team needs to send one person at a time to try to construct someone's randomly-assigned face using the parts from the large board. The winning team will win one medal each.
• 1:46:00 PD announces that the additional reward for the winning team is that they get to choose their bedroom first. The losing team were originally happy with their room until they saw the luxury of the other room.

  • Highlights: Gun and Phuwin discover a separate fridge (provided by one of the sponsors) that is full of packaged seafood items. They're particularly excited about the imitation crab (which is very popular in Thailand in general)

• 2:39:00 It's Luke's birthday, so while he's showering, the rest of the guys prepare a birthday surprise for him. Neo (and later Phuwin) goes to help stall to buy more time while the rest continue setting up the surprise

They think the person who's "it" won, but turns out they forgot to find the last person, so they win the medal.
• 4:05:00 Snack/free time. Phuwin makes Thai omelette (khai jiao) with imitation crab. (Khai jiao is like a staple food in Thailand)

  • Group 1 highlights: This was the group that won the What the Face? game. First impressions of the house are that it's very nice and spacious, to the point that they were tired from running around trying to find each other earlier. They recapped how Mix and Khaotung found washing the dishes. They were happy to have won the first competition of the show, and they thought it was even nicer that they got to choose their bedroom in addition to getting the medals. They also talked about Luke's birthday surprise, especially about how they needed to send Neo and Phuwin to stall him to buy more time to set up. They also talked about the gifts they got him. They complimented Luke's Thai skills, particularly in reading, and they (especially Mix) want to try to practice more English with Luke this week.
    • Fan comments: Fans remarked about the nice birthday surprise. They said that Earth seems like the tidiest person so far, and he agreed. They also talked about the jam session, and the guys joked about starting a band. In general, the guys all happy and excited about the experience; it feels like a sort of group trip/camp situation where they get to live with friends and peers for a short period

  • Group 2 highlights: this is the group that lost the Face game earlier. Everyone is excited about the house and seeing all the places they can hang out. They also said that Mix had an unfair advantage having Earth's face because he sees his face pretty much every day. They also expressed some (light-hearted) bitterness about their bedroom assignment, especially compared to the other bedroom and bathroom. They made some potential plans to try to steal the large bedroom during the day tomorrow while the other team aren't paying attention. They also talked about Luke's birthday surprise, and how the surprise was almost ruined a few times: Phuwin accidentally ran into Luke while holding his gift, and when everyone first thought Luke was in the shower, he actually was still walking around the house, so he almost saw what everyone was doing.
