The buzz about Michael BĆ¼rÅy buying into GME had Roaring Kitty (aka DFV) and Ryan Cohen so excited, that they both increased their positions considerably.
This guy, is the godfather of wall-street, he began the most successful investment fund EVER (Medallion) and the company that runs the Medallion fund, invests a huge amount ($12,582,000) into Gamestop, and on the SAME DAY it's announced, Roaring Kitty comes back to life?! (...this ain't no Cohensidence!)

Assuming Roaring Kitty's had a silence agreement in place for 3-years, then if we look at the detail, that silence order should/would have ended weeks ago. So, if you believe he was silenced (and if you have been following his Twitter, then that seems to be apparent) then he chose his moment! You can see how Roaring Kitty has been preparing for the last 3-years, and it's obvious that he timed his play.
These 13F-HR filings are required every 3-months. The deadline to file after each quarter is around 6-weeks after (42 days later than the reporting period end) to give them time to prepare the filings, etc.
Generally, it only take a week or two to prepare these things, big companies have people dedicated to the role, and often these filings are given to dedicated clerks whose job it is to to cross the Ts and dot the Is of a semi-automated report before filing to the SEC. Just look at Charlie Monger (100yrs), Warren Buffet (93yrs), George Soros (93yrs), Rupert Murdoch (93yrs), Henry Kissinger (101yrs), Queen Elizabeth (96yrs), etc. I don't need to bolster that argument; it's pretty much a fact money gives you good living, good food and good healthcare.

Storytime and TLDR is at the bottom.
I (22F) had a decent upbringing, both parents (57M and 52F) present, a roof over my head, food on the table, private education, etc etc those things can be ticked off. But inside the house those family dynamics were always pretty strained from my earliest memories. With both parents having their fair share of trauma, it had to carry into their kidsā lives somehow. The untreated mental health from a young age, lack of self-awareness/accountability, both parents turning a blind eye to the easy signs that your kidās a little fucked in the head definitely wasnāt on the agenda of family things to discuss at the dinner table.
My parents were and are very much in love, youād see the unity between them instantly. And they got together quite late for their generation, generally speaking - late 20s and early 30s. And so, itās always been the story that Iāve been told and as far as anyone else in our extended family was concerned: my parents met, fell in love hard and fast, had me, and shortly got married after. Ironic given I grew up catholic so the whole āhaving a child out of wedlock is forbidden and a gateway to hellā was confusing when you know this their story for me off by heart.
Growing up, I never looked like my dad. I need to preface Iām mixed - mumās Asian and dadās stereotypical white man from the UK. I know how genetics work, had a pretty good grasp of it when it was explained to me when I was a kid. Now itās things like, I donāt have my dadās nose, his hair, his face shape, I just looked like my mum and some distorted other features I could never see my dad when I looked in the mirror. As a kid, they just explained as genes and that my mumās was stronger so I just ended up looking exactly like her and I just ended up with my dadās small ears (Please, I cannot believe I was so gullible to think that the only thing I got from my dad was his goddamn ears). I just never questioned the lack of my dad in me when I looked at myself, why would my parents lie about that? Also, I never had a reason growing up to care about whether I looked like my dad. There were a lot of mixed kids like me in my area so it was a similar boat and I had somewhat (and I say this lightly) of a support system to reassure me that this is all normal.
But there gets to an age where you feel things shift, and society is perceiving you a type of way now, the mixed kids identity crisis, the lack of belonging and blah blah blach. But my parents wouldnāt lie to me? There it is, asked the guy a few questions. Security questions like heās at a fucking bank, if you will. And everything checks out, what he knows, how he knows, and what the guy looks like. Here I thought I was my motherās daughter, but I am my bio dadās daughter through and through - in appearance only personality, weāll never know. My parents are none the wiser of this guy reaching out, so imagine their surprise when Iām sat on FaceTime with them when theyāre 3000miles away and Iām trying to find out if this guy is legit. And after being iced out for the rest of their holiday, I get a āYes, he is! But he isnāt your dad, heās not the one that raised you so it doesnāt matterā.
And sheās right. It doesnāt matter.
I donāt know how to end this but to the curious folks that want to know what happened after, not much, I blocked bio dad. And Iāve been slowly working on a fruitful relationship with my parents, the ones that have been there since day 1.
TLDR: Had a late night gym sesh with my bestie, got a few messages from some bald guy on LinkedIn claiming he knows me, misses me and heās my dad. Ask my parents, to confirm itās real. It is. Blocked.

I (22F) had a decent upbringing, both parents (57M and 52F) present, a roof over my head, food on the table, private education, etc etc those things can be ticked off. But inside the house those family dynamics were always pretty strained from my earliest memories. With both parents having their fair share of trauma, it had to carry into their kidsā lives somehow. The untreated mental health from a young age, lack of self-awareness/accountability, both parents turning a blind eye to the easy signs that your kidās a little fucked in the head definitely wasnāt on the agenda of family things to discuss at the dinner table.
My parents were and are very much in love, youād see the unity between them instantly. And they got together quite late for their generation, generally speaking - late 20s and early 30s. And so, itās always been the story that Iāve been told and as far as anyone else in our extended family was concerned: my parents met, fell in love hard and fast, had me, and shortly got married after. Ironic given I grew up catholic so the whole āhaving a child out of wedlock is forbidden and a gateway to hellā was confusing when you know this their story for me off by heart.
Growing up, I never looked like my dad. I need to preface Iām mixed - mumās Asian and dadās stereotypical white man from the UK. I know how genetics work, had a pretty good grasp of it when it was explained to me when I was a kid. Now itās things like, I donāt have my dadās nose, his hair, his face shape, I just looked like my mum and some distorted other features I could never see my dad when I looked in the mirror. As a kid, they just explained as genes and that my mumās was stronger so I just ended up looking exactly like her and I just ended up with my dadās small ears (Please, I cannot believe I was so gullible to think that the only thing I got from my dad was his goddamn ears). I just never questioned the lack of my dad in me when I looked at myself, why would my parents lie about that? Also, I never had a reason growing up to care about whether I looked like my dad. There were a lot of mixed kids like me in my area so it was a similar boat and I had somewhat (and I say this lightly) of a support system to reassure me that this is all normal.
But there gets to an age where you feel things shift, and society is perceiving you a type of way now, the mixed kids identity crisis, the lack of belonging and blah blah blach. But my parents wouldnāt lie to me? Iām going to buy my first knife and wondering about 2 finishes, Doppler p2 and Gamma p1, considering they have the same price and I love both.
The pink on doppler p2 is so insane that I canāt say no, but the brightness and the colors of blue with purple and cyan green on gamma p1 is just so good that I canāt take my eyes off, they both are just stunning as hell.
So what are your thoughts about these two?

So, I have a very amateur lab, no access to glove boxes or fancy things like that.
I have been needing some AlCl3 and I'd rather not order it.
What I have been trying instead is:
1.) First making anhydrous ZnCl2 with HCl and elemental zinc and melting it (it melts at around 290C) in a round bottom flask in a powerful heating mantle.
2.) When the flask seems nice and dry and the ZnCl2 is all molten I add finely chopped aluminum foil bits in rough stoechiometric amount that I have previously dried in the oven on max heat.
3.) I then increase the temperature of the reaction flask mantle to about 380C and after a while a vigorous reaction starts, producing a white gas that I condense in another flask that I immediately connect (when the vigorous reaction starts) to the first one by a short, non refrigerated and even thermally insulated (with glass wool and aluminium foil) borosilicate glass condenser / arm (or whatever it's called, sorry). The reaction seems self-sustained enough, I stop the heating as soon as it starts.
4.) A white-yellowish product then condenses in the second flask and it has all the properties of AlCl3 that I can think of testing.
5.) I've been trying to store that AlCl3 by dissolving it in dried acetone, with limited success (ends up yellow after a few days, but if it can last one day it'll already be useful). For my use case rn, it being in acetone is not an issue.
The problems I can see are: - the short distillation arm ends up clogging, I think I might need a system to warm it to at least 180C (AlCl3's boiling point) - there is obviously residual water in the system that deteriorates the quality of the end product
As I have no access to inert gas I have been thinking of trying to flush the atmosphere of the whole system with dry acetone, but I'm afraid I'll inadvertently hit an explosive composition mixture in the reaction flask and getting my whole system to explode once the ZnCl2 + Al reaction occurs, as it is exothermic but how much so I don't know.
Does anybody know what temperatures this reaction can reach? is it close to acetone's auto-ignition temp? 380C is already not that far... so I'm reluctant to try this.
Any other ideas or advice please?

Ever since the course started back in April, a teacher has been beyond mediocre. She's always absent, late, and if she's present, her classes are incomplete and more often than not, incomprehensible (and from what I've heard from fellow students, she was the same last year, I wasn't in the institution last year though) so I, with the help of some students, presented a formal complaint to the principal office, this, to have her removed: the institution warned her, that if another complaint were to be present, she'll be fired. Ever since the first letter was filed (which was about 3 weeks ago) clases haven't gotten any better. To the point that some students have even quit the institution all together.
I have been thinking about filing another letter, but here's the thing, she recently told us that her children are sick, and so fellow students who still aren't happy with her class, and aren't truly learning anything, stand by her below average service because "Oh well she's going through tough times".
People have told me that it's shocking that I'm thinking about filing another letter, like caring about my future makes me an asshole, would I be the asshole for doing so though? It's not like she's going to be jobless, likely she'll just be relocated to another school. Here's the facts, at this school, we're all adults, most of us with families or work (or both) to take care of, I can feel empathy for the teacher and her family, but I don't feel like I should compromise my future, just because a teacher at one time was feeling down. If I want to obtain my high-school diploma to eventually go to college, get better job opportunities, so on, I need a teacher who does her job right. Who allows me to learn so I can succeed at the exams this coming september. If I fail the exams because I didn't have a proper teacher, regardless of the reasons, that's a whole lot of more money and time spent in 2025. Money and time I rather spend in college.

The user channels nen into a pen, and is able to write commands onto people, forcing them to obey those commands. This can even be done at range, in which the user writes a command in midair and then uses emission to fire it like a projectile. The āinkā from the pen is emissive.
The command must be written on the skin of the target, so clothes would act as a natural obstacle. The commands can be complex, but they need to be well written, with proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. If the sentence doesnāt actually make sense for reasons like those, then the command may be misinterpreted or ignored entirely as nonsense.
In addition, the total word count that can be written on a single individuals body is 100 words. The command projectile, however, can only be a maximum of six words.
When under a command, the target can speak and acts normally, with the exception of prioritizing their orders above all else. When an order is completed, the command will fade from their body. Once all the commands are fulfilled, the target will have no memory of the time they were being manipulated. The only thing that a target canāt be commanded to due do is anything that directly harms them (jump off a cliff, punch yourself in the face, etc.)
I put transmutation in parentheses because Iām not sure if this would necessitate altering the nature of the emitted nen to act like ink or not.

So IIRC the T34 was one of the four tanks receiving a āfaceliftā this past update. I canāt find the post where I read it at the moment(does anyone else remember that I hope Iām not making all this up).
I assumed that meant just cosmetic changes, maybe they wanted to update the model since itās such an old tank idk. After the update I noticed the cosmetic changes I expected to see(black is more black is the best way I can describe it). However I noticed something else as well, the gun feels FANTASTIC.
The T34 was my first and free tier VIII prem so I logged a lot of battles in this thing even in its powercrept state. What Iām trying to say is I have a good feel for the tank/gun and what to expect from it and when not to push my luck.

I (20M) began dating my now ex gf (23F) [Iāll call her J] around last July. J and I met at college and had been really close friends for about a year and I always had a fondness towards her. I hadnāt thought of her romantically really since she was actually in a 3-4yr relationship w/ someone else when we first met.
Anyways, we start dating after they broke up in May and it was amazing and I was as happy as Iād ever been. We didnāt have any issues except for one moment in August where J felt as though I was insulting an insecurity of herās when what I was trying to do is say that I donāt care about her insecurieties at all because they donāt matter to me. Then sometime around September I get into an accident that makes it so I have to be home for a month to recover from surgery. I was going to be mostly stuck in a wheelchair up until November and was worried about how I was going to be able to move around campus but J reassured me that sheād be there for me as much as she could.
Within a week of being back on campus, J was being off and then after hanging out with each other for the whole weekend, texted me saying that we should break up because Iām ātoo good for [her]ā and itās unfair that we be in a relationship while she āprocesses her last breakup.ā I was sad to hear this but respected her for making that choice. It gets a little confusing because 1 day later she asks if we can get back together because she realizes that Iām who she mostly hangs out with since most of her friends graduated. I said no because it felt off for her to want to breakup and then immediately ask to get back together. I should add that J expressed that once she was done processing her last breakup she would really like to explore a relationship again.
J pushed to stay friends (even though I suggested us not interacting for a certain amount of time could be good for our new relationship dynamic). I agreed to us still chatting as friends but I also asked that if things ever felt somewhat romantic that we should be open and honest about it to each other.
Fast forwarding, J started mistreating me A LOT towards the end of the year. J would resort to getting easily frustrated w/ me and then screaming and cursing at me. She would offer to help transport me with my wheelchair and then make remarks that made me feel guilty about using it. She started to sort of drift away from hanging out w/ me and when I confronted her about it, sheād claim that I was ābeing crazy.ā
Around December things especially got bad. Turns out she suddenly started remembering that moment in August and ācould no longer forgive me for itā which felt super weird and random to bring up months later. She claimed this was the reason we could never be in a relationship again and added on that she āneeds years to understand herself before exploring a romantic relationship w/ anybodyā. I was sad to hear this but I was also happy to hear that she was going to take some time to work on herself since she had expressed wanting to do that in the past.
I later found out that she started seeing someone new just a few weeks after all that and I was informed that she had actually started talking to the new guy a solid 2 weeks before the messages we exchanged which sort of makes it feel as though she wasnāt being honest with me in the 1st place.
Overall she expressed she didnāt want to be friends anymore because my āexpectations are too highā. Then a month later she reaches out for me to add her back on a mobile game we both play even though I explained that I felt that was weird given our new dynamic. She reached out to a mutaul friend asking if he could help walk her to and from her car whenever she and I were at the same place.
She went as far as taking a letter that I had written to her privatley and waving it around at a party she hosted where she even read it out loud to those attending. She makes up stories about things Iāve said to her or about her. I truly care for this girl and so I have not resorted to talking smack about her to others because I feel she doesnāt deserve that.
I have since gotten campus police involved so that she canāt contact me and have had to now explain to mutual friends what is going on since everyone is so confused on why sheās trying to paint me as this villain who treats people terribly and only is nice as a facade. I do my best to not have her seem as this completely bad person to others since I donāt feel she deserves that, yet the majority consensus after people have heard both of our sides is that she seems to be āprojecting her feelings onto meā and appears to be āvindictiveā.

Heya, I'm just trying to understand how to translate impersonal sentences in Ukrainian, especially with regards to verbs and the -Š½Š¾ ending.
I just read in a grammar book that "In impersonal sentences the form of Past Passive participle ending in -Š½Š¾ in āŃŠ¾ is used as the predicative with link-verb Š±ŃŃŠø (to be)"
Does this mean if I see a sentence, without a clear subject + where there's a form of -Š±ŃŃŠø- followed by a word ending in -Š½Š¾ I should assume it is an impersonal sentence?
For example, the sentence "ŠŠµŠ“ŃŠ°ŃŠ¾ŃŃŠ² Š±ŃŠ“Šµ Š·Š°Š»ŃŃŠµŠ½Š¾ Š“Š¾ ŃŃŃŃ ŃŠ¾Š±Š¾ŃŠø
Should be translated as "Mediators will be involved in this work"

One of my relative is a struggling first year student and he is struggling a lot to find any jobs. But a week ago he was called for a "job training" to deliver newspaper at night. And what he explained made me wonder if the business is exploiting students / migrants like him. I have listed what this relative described to me. I could not believe the details. Also, today I found that in Finland there is no minimum wage defined in law.
Does the above practise look legal to you? If not, what are ways to complain about this business?

One of my relative is a struggling first year student and he is struggling a lot to find any jobs. But a week ago he was called for a "job training" to deliver newspaper at night. And what he explained made me wonder if the business is exploiting students / migrants like him. I have listed what this relative described to me. I could not believe the details. Also, today I found that in Finland there is no minimum wage defined in law.
- This company pays 15 euro for delivering newspaper for almost 3 hours at night in a omakotitalo area
- The penalty for missing to deliver newspaper after working for a week is 10 euro per missing. He mentioned that there is a guy who actually missed to deliver paper one night and had to pay 20 euro.
- The company does not hire them but uses same model as wolt. Treating those workers as entrepreneurs. So, they also have to invoice the this employer. Think 15 euro plus cost of using invoicing company.
- This company also told the workers that they can not leave them for 3 years
- No pay for those 3 training days
- There is no days off in a week - if someone needs day of - it is possible like in 1 day off in a month but the "manager" will decide if he want to give day off or not :(
Does the above practise look legal to you? If not, what are ways to complain about this business?

I responded by saying ādaijoubu,ā after which they were really sweet and tried talking to me in Japanese (and to my embarrassment I couldnāt respond). At one point I know they called me cute, and I thanked them, and then one of them said (I think) āMidori chatta(sp?)ā and repeated it for me. I think she meant that Iām new to learning Japanese, or that Iām young, but I am not sure, and I donāt have many resources to confirm.
Does anyone know what she could have meant or said? I was very embarrassed that I couldnāt (edit: grammar) speak with them more, and at one point I apologized. I probably looked very flustered when I couldnāt respond properly to them.
