but instead of baals portals, the buff is ah round counter that goes up certain amount of kills increasing the mobs hp each round counter, they have to run to the objective quicker
like ah dead by daylight thing
hellhounds zombies and ah random boss, maybe ah Panzersoldat
the hellhounds spawn in anytime like the portal with baal the zombies have they trap set only to nerf the round timer hp buff
Boss is ah Panzersoldat that can hook grab ppl and drag them into ah trap (dragged out of windows into ah trap combo) and fly away (hop) from ah short distance, hook shot cars to stop it and fly (hop) for faster travel to human team, boss entity has speed boost like baal did and the active skill is scare feast but the zombies come out (underground to slow the animation, players can hit it but the hp buff makes it harder) immediately as its ticked instead of needing to be walked into by human player
that means while humans are going to house or objective if they used their active skill away from the team the zombies come out from the active skill and ran towards the humans in ah horde in ah direction (ah cod zombies like gameplay), maybe after round 5 or 6 the zombies sprint ah little faster (speed boost)

I have been working at a marketing agency for a year since graduating from university in GA4 and GTM and have elevated the company's usage of analytics and site tracking in my time here but I want to learn more. I don't know how to code, I've learned fundamentals of html and js through my time in GTM and googling questions. Ive taken courses on sql and advanced excel but without reasons to use these skills I've likely forgotten everything I've learned.

I've this classmate who I'm friends with. We're not extremely close, but we're in the same group of friends. Let's call her S. S is a really selfless person who can be kinda shy sometimes. She's extremely sensitive and when she's stressed or overwhelmed she can snap.
I met this girl last year, along with other girl I'll call M. M is a really carefree girl. She can be oblivious and honestly just a really chill person. M doesn't take things too personal, unlike S, who can think you're mad at her just by talking with someone else.
So I met this two girls and it was pretty clear that S was way too attached to M. They've known each other as much as I've known them, but still, S is always so affected by whatever M does.
As I said, M is a pretty chil person so she doesn't even notice this behavior from S. Some stuff S does are:
-Asking M to keep secrets, but then make painfully obvious to the rest of the group that there's a secret.
-Turn conversation of 4-5 people into a private coversation of her and M.
-Talk to me and the others when she thinks M is mad a her (Just because M is talking someone else)
-One of the last things she did was pass a paper between her and M with me literally in the middle.
I never really cared about this as I have other friends, but it was still a problem we all knew. The worst part? This attachment is totally one sided as M was completely oblivous and she even considers S just a classmate.
This new year rolls in and my best friend left our school. I was really thinking about this thing S has of excluding others, but I decided that I just needed to speak with new people. So there's this new guy "L" who happens to like the same author as me. We dont talk much, just exchange words, messages and just one proper conversation of around 20 minutes.
I first texted him, but a few days later we spoke during break time. Our conversation ended when I felt someone PULLING FROM MY HAIR for me to get up (I hate being pulled by my hair) and it's S, who then asked me what I was talking about with L. I explained and didn't think much of it.
But since then she started with this passive-aggressive comments like "Don't go with that guy or I'll get jealous", but always in a joking manner.
Then during a music class, we're all around the piano. Suddenly, S started to pull from my shirt with nervous laughter asking me to "take her out of there" M and I laughed and help her get out, but without understanding much. We got worried when S started crying.
After a long back and forth where she wouldn't tell us what's going on, she finally said that she and L exchanged glances, he politely smiled at her and she smiled back in a weird way.
Yeah, that's it. She got nervous and was embarrased because of her weird smile.
When asked why she smiled like that she said "Because I didn't want to be cute, I wanted to be like OP".
Since then I started thinking about everything and got weirded out. I texted a friend and told them everything, they told me that she probably liked L. I though the same, but wanted to let it go because she has a boyfriend.
The next day we're eating and S is looking down, I sat down beside her and she told me "Go with your friend, L. You're replacing me with him. That's why I'm mad" I laughed awkwardly and ignored her.
A few days later I met with my best friend and told her everything, we walked to M's place and told her everything too. From the attachment to her jealousy. Needless to say, we were all weirded out.
Here's where I found out from M that S texts her A LOT every day till M replies (Neither of us is really active on social media except for S who answers messages quickly). She also told me about a dream S had and where she basically told M, that she though I was mad and distant (I was).
Everyone agress that me and L barely talk, and even if we did talk a lot, it shouldn't matter to her.
Since then I've been talking less with her. A few days ago I ate lunch with someone else (no on purpose) and I think she got mad because today she didn't try to talk to me at all (good for me tbh) and when I went to eat, she avoided our table and only sat when I was away.
I don't think I'm the asshole, but this is so confusing.

Hello all. I want to thank this group. I went into my 1st routine colonoscopy without any procedure anxiety thanks to all the helpful posts.
It was originally scheduled for mid-March but I canceled due to being on antibiotics for a post-dental procedure infection and a leg injury suffered on a trail.
I did a low-residue, low-fiber diet starting 1 week before and a clear liquid diet yesterday. I ate less the last 2 days of the solid food diet.
I drank a lot of clear liquids. Between 8 am yesterday and 5:50 am today, I drank 2.6 gallons of fluids (dye-free Gatorade, white cranberry juice, apple juice, chicken broth, coconut water, tea, and water) and ate 8 servings of Jello (pineapple, lime, and lemon).
Prep was SuTab. 5:00 pm yesterday, I took a Zofran to help prevent nausea. This was automatically prescribed. 6:00 pm yesterday, I took the 1st bottle of pills, 250 mg of Gas-X, and drank the 1st 16 oz of water. 7:30 pm yesterday, I finished the 2nd and 3rd 16 oz of water. 7:45 pm yesterday, the SuTab started working. 2:50 am today, I took a Zofran. 3:50 am today, I did the 2nd half of the prep. 5:50 am today was when I had to stop everything by mouth. I managed to drink a 20 oz Gatorade Rapid Rehydration after finishing the 32 oz of water I had to drink after taking the SuTab pills. I finished it at 5:48 am. 8:50 am was check-in time for a 9:50 procedure. My procedure started 5 minutes early. I recovered from the Propofol much faster than they expected. Walked out of the clinic at 10:30 and was home at 11.
The worst part of the prep was the headache I got from only getting 3 hours of interrupted sleep and sleeping weird so my neck tightened up. And being very cold.
My biggest surprises were having no discomfort from the SuTab and how little time I spent in the bathroom. I expected to be in there for hours but I just did multiple quick trips. And peeing out the butt is extremely weird.
There was a single 3mm polyp that he removed and non-bleeding internal hemorrhoids that didn't require treatment. He said I don't have to come back for 7-10 years.

I’m a part of a large group of contractors in IT, all of us want to be Progressive Employees but have been held against a non compete clause. We act in every way as progressive employees for years, the only difference is no opportunity to educate or grow inside the company and no gain share. Basically a hidden company that we know nothing about gets paid for us working at Progressive, and that’s just the way it is forever and ever. We are worried about directly asking anyone on either side because we fear we could be fired for even checking out our options. With the federal ban on NO COMPETE, what would be your best advice to someone trying to become a true Progressive Employee? Is it worth it to apply in a different department and attempt to transfer later? Just looking for some insight. As part of treatment I am getting for hypogonadism, I get blood work done every six months, usually including a full liver panel.
I just got my liver panel today and the results were pretty typical for the past couple of years - albumin, bilirubin, alk phos, total plasma protein, globulin, albumin/globulin ratio all normal (I can post the full numbers and ranges if needed) but my AST is 50 (normal is <= 39) and ALT is 95 (normal is <=52).
These numbers have fluctuated off and on for as long as I have records (going back to mid 2021).
Every six or so months, the AST has been:
12/2021: 49 4/2022: 52 10/2022: 47 4/2023: 54 11/2023: 39 5/2024: 50
And ALT has been:
12/2021: 112 4/2022: 99 10/2022: 67 4/2023: 86 11/2023: 81 5/2024: 95
About me: I am a 34 year old formerly VERY obese guy who has kept 80+lbs off for a decade, but could still stand to drop another 15-20lbs as I am right around 25% body fat. I am struggling to lose the last bit of weight even with pretty serious caloric restriction and a lot of exercise. My cholesterol is slightly elevated, though my blood pressure is good and the rest of my lipid panel was normal. No abnormalities on kidney panel. I am fairly active, lifting weights and/or doing yoga every day, and I know that resistance training can elevate AST and ALT. I drink very little alcohol (2 drinks a week, maximum, usually on weekends) and do not use recreational drugs. My diet is largely whole grains, lean meats and fish, and fresh vegetables (minimal soda, snacks, sweets). I do take supplements such as NAC and TUDCA. I have no symptoms of any liver issues that I am aware of. My primary care provider is "monitoring" my liver values, but since they have been fluctuating for so long and aren't getting dramatically worse he is not particularly alarmed. I am trying not to be, either, though NAFLD has come up as a possibility.
I will probably just keep trying to lose weight and see how it impacts the numbers.
That said, I have a check-in on today's blood work with my urologist on Friday, and I'm thinking about asking for a referral to a hepatologist since I finally have good insurance that will cover the visit. Does this seem prudent? Is there anything I need to be aware of going into the appointment? Anyone have any thoughts, etc? How nervous would you be if you were me?

It's exhausting thinking about her 24/7. Evertime My phone goes off my heart drops into my stomach thinking it's her, when it is I get butterflies and when it isn't I feel depressed. When we first started talking it was super exciting and flirty and even sexual alot but I feel like our conversations are just getting bland now. to start lets call this guy Joshua. We are in a snowboarding club together, and met this past december. The club goes on trips ski/boarding 5 times in a semester, and people get pretty close from this. We both are 2nd year college students. The club is also very very much degens. He's a huge stoner who lives with his childhood best friends. They're all really close.
I am new to the club this year, and we had met a few times but we were not really close or spoke much. He lives in the same complex as me at college, and i started seeing Joshua on the bus line.
Josh is a pretty friendly guy, but always really surface level. He seems on the shyer side, close with his friends but he doesnt talk much to girls. He's known for being pretty closed off.
Our ski season ends around the end of February. Him and his roommates put it out in the neighborhood club group chat to come hangout and play some drinking games. My roommate went with me, she's also in club. After the night playing games, she turned to me and was like "josh def is interested in you" and I had also started to notice how cute he was that night. So the combination resulted in a little more interest than just noticing how cute he was
I'm in a sorority, so i asked him to a date party a week later. he seemed hesitant to go, but I reassured him it wasn't a big deal, and I could ask someone else, if it didnt work out. He went with me to the party, and was a really fun date. We both were drinking, and when we got home, he asked me straight up "do you like me?" I told him that prior to this week no. and that it hadn't been more than a friendly date, and i was a little interested but he could turn me down right then. He agreed that he hadn't been interested in more than friends but that night had sparked an interest. He told me he liked me, somehow that night spiraled into games at his apartment with our friends, and we were walking around the neighborhood aimlessly, chatting away til 3 am. He told me his fear of relationships, and taking things further than friends. That he'd never been ina serious relationship. maybe just friends with benefits at the furthest, with a girl he'd been friends with since childhood.
He asked what I was looking for, and I told him, the idea of friends with benefits scared me, because you have one foot in, one foot out, and someone is always going to walk away hurt. "So you're looking for a boyfriend." again he always seemed to catch me off guard. I told him eventually, but we don't know each other well enough to pursue anything serious, so let's just get to know each other.
We made plans, and the next two weeks were filled with group hangouts that had serious eye contact, and being inseperable. Our friends caught on. But it seemed pretty friendly. til our big camping event. I wanted to ask him to formals, he had DDed me while he was sick, and studied with me when he didn't have any work to do, we'd spent a lot of time together, and he seemed really interested. we were both drinking yet again, and I asked him to formals and he told me "IDK if i want a relationship yet, but I really like you. "
he voiced to me his big fear was FOMO from his close friend group.
that night we were cuddled up by the fire, wandering around together, things were really good. He came back to my tent and we kissed a while too, stayed up all night, and watched the sunrise. I told him if it was a one time/hookup situation he was looking for, to leave me alone. Instead he offered to come over and hangout with me and the cat that night, he kissed me again, and we had two more days of hanging out with friends, and him coming over after to spend time with me and watch our show.
It felt like he was really opening up to me a few days before formals, but as he would open up more, he would also start to pull away physically. No more kissing, just cuddling, and he seemed very nervous. He voiced his fear of FOMO again, saying that we'd spent a lot of time together and he still wanted to see his friends
Formals came around and the night before he noted that he didnt know the time/date until just then. he still wanted to go, but the actual formal rolled around and his roommates had friends over and when he showed up at my door he wasnt in the best of moods.
We had a really great night after that though, pregame was a lot of fun, he held my hand throughout the night and we even danced a little.
He was attentive, and when i had been in the bathroom too long he was looking for me instead of just sitting with our mutual friends.
That night though, once we got home, the plan had been to change, and then head over to our friends but we sat down and realized we were pretty drunk
I was tired, and he wanted to leave to see our friends. I started to hammer him with questions, which in retrospective might be what scared him away. I asked if he saw a future with me, if he liked me enough to date me, if he wanted more from me, if he saw anything next semester.
I saw him get nervous and shifty, and he started to blurt out answers, NO, I dont see this, I dont like you enough, and then he took his sweatshirt back, and was like
I guess i shouldnt come over anymore...
I still like you though, im sorry. Im sorry. im sorry.
and when he left left he hugged me apologized again, and then said he really enjoyed my friendship outside of whatever this was as well.
The next night we had a ski club event. ( i know it sounds like all we do is party and drink but my grades were fine).
The original plan was a pregame with my friends and a walk over, but his Josh's roommate had another pregame in the same neighborhood.
So we met up there. But we weren't really speaking. once i had enough liquid courage and he had already approached my little group I soloed him out later and told him... I feel like I was really just blurting things out last night. Im sorry, I don't really know what I want. do you?
He couldnt meet my eyes and he just said Nothing I want nothing lets just have a good summer apart.
30 minutes later, in public, about 15/20 feet away from him I got my ass grabbed by a once trusted friend, who had been way too friendly all day. Josh didn't see anything he says because it was hard to watch me talk to this person.
Another 30 minutes later after a few more drinks in an attempt to erase what had happened and I was sobbing my eyes out, unable to tell anyone what had happened. My friends were all trying to check in, but i just sat on the couch with tears streaming down my cheeks. Fireworks were going off outside, and the cops were called by the neighbors.
Josh ran in, grabbed me and pulled me outside, he gave me his jacket and he my roommate, and our friend walked to another street to find a ride home. I wanted to lay down and cry, and he propped me up instead, and tried to comfort me.
Once he got home he basically ran to another friends house, and said hed come over after to talk, (i fell asleep before he made it back but he did try).
Sunday he came over to help clean, and we cleaned in silence. The situation at the event where I got SAed, has been something Josh has a really hard time talking about, he just gets really quiet, says oh im sorry, its just such an awkward situation and never comments more on it. I really wish he'd be more angry for me. His best friends are?
For the next two weeks, he would invite me over to hangout with his friends, never just alone, but there were a few instances where we were alone. One night I was out with some girls in his friend group walking from my house back to his, and he started to text me asking where I was going, and what was I up to. the girls boyfriends came out too, but he brought me an umbrella and pulled me in and just laughed at us having our pow wow in the rain.
Finals week we both had almsot no work and were floating about, I ended up going over there a ton. Some was by invite, and some was a little bit of inviting myself, but that's how the friendgroup is usually??
He offered to let me keep boxes in his room for the summer because I don't have a renewed lease, and when I came over a few times he played two songs that briefly in passing, I had mentioned I'd loved the songs. (i wouldnt consider them easy songs)
Before he left for the summer he came over to my house helped carry a few things out to the car, and a hug goodbye *note my roommate also a good friend of his did not get the same treatment*.
He told me that he hoped we'd see each other over the summer....
His girl friends have told me, he was really really hurt last year by a girl who he'd been really into, and dated for a week before she broke things off. They said they hadn't seen him bring girls over since, and all his other friends felt like he was fumbling.
My question is it worth pursuing further? I know i'll just push him away by continuing this chase, but do we think that things will spark up ever again?
I really think Josh does care about me, and we had a great time, but he isn't texting me much anymore, if at all... I'm going to be in his hometown this weekend but I dont plan on letting him know/ seeing him.
What can i do at this point. I feel like he's said everything he needs to, he knows that I want more than what he's offering and I feel like I'm driving myself crazy. I really do think that we could be just friends, but I also feel like he has a soft spot for me and I don't want to miss out on something great just because I didnt give him time to get over his fears.

Our ski season ends around the end of February. Him and his roommates put it out in the neighborhood club group chat to come hangout and play some drinking games. My roommate went with me, she's also in club. After the night playing games, she turned to me and was like "josh def is interested in you" and I had also started to notice how cute he was that night. So the combination resulted in a little more interest than just noticing how cute he was
I'm in a sorority, so i asked him to a date party a week later. he seemed hesitant to go, but I reassured him it wasn't a big deal, and I could ask someone else, if it didnt work out. He went with me to the party, and was a really fun date. We both were drinking, and when we got home, he asked me straight up "do you like me?" I told him that prior to this week no. and that it hadn't been more than a friendly date, and i was a little interested but he could turn me down right then. He agreed that he hadn't been interested in more than friends but that night had sparked an interest. He told me he liked me, somehow that night spiraled into games at his apartment with our friends, and we were walking around the neighborhood aimlessly, chatting away til 3 am. He told me his fear of relationships, and taking things further than friends. That he'd never been ina serious relationship. maybe just friends with benefits at the furthest, with a girl he'd been friends with since childhood.
He asked what I was looking for, and I told him, the idea of friends with benefits scared me, because you have one foot in, one foot out, and someone is always going to walk away hurt. "So you're looking for a boyfriend." again he always seemed to catch me off guard. I told him eventually, but we don't know each other well enough to pursue anything serious, so let's just get to know each other.
We made plans, and the next two weeks were filled with group hangouts that had serious eye contact, and being inseperable. Our friends caught on. But it seemed pretty friendly. til our big camping event. I wanted to ask him to formals, he had DDed me while he was sick, and studied with me when he didn't have any work to do, we'd spent a lot of time together, and he seemed really interested. we were both drinking yet again, and I asked him to formals and he told me "IDK if i want a relationship yet, but I really like you. "
he voiced to me his big fear was FOMO from his close friend group.
that night we were cuddled up by the fire, wandering around together, things were really good. He came back to my tent and we kissed a while too, stayed up all night, and watched the sunrise. I told him if it was a one time/hookup situation he was looking for, to leave me alone. Instead he offered to come over and hangout with me and the cat that night, he kissed me again, and we had two more days of hanging out with friends, and him coming over after to spend time with me and watch our show.
It felt like he was really opening up to me a few days before formals, but as he would open up more, he would also start to pull away physically. No more kissing, just cuddling, and he seemed very nervous. He voiced his fear of FOMO again, saying that we'd spent a lot of time together and he still wanted to see his friends
Formals came around and the night before he noted that he didnt know the time/date until just then. he still wanted to go, but the actual formal rolled around and his roommates had friends over and when he showed up at my door he wasnt in the best of moods.
We had a really great night after that though, pregame was a lot of fun, he held my hand throughout the night and we even danced a little.
He was attentive, and when i had been in the bathroom too long he was looking for me instead of just sitting with our mutual friends.
That night though, once we got home, the plan had been to change, and then head over to our friends but we sat down and realized we were pretty drunk
I was tired, and he wanted to leave to see our friends. I started to hammer him with questions, which in retrospective might be what scared him away. I asked if he saw a future with me, if he liked me enough to date me, if he wanted more from me, if he saw anything next semester.
I saw him get nervous and shifty, and he started to blurt out answers, NO, I dont see this, I dont like you enough, and then he took his sweatshirt back, and was like
I guess i shouldnt come over anymore...

and when he left left he hugged me apologized again, and then said he really enjoyed my friendship outside of whatever this was as well.
The next night we had a ski club event. ( i know it sounds like all we do is party and drink but my grades were fine).
The original plan was a pregame with my friends and a walk over, but his Josh's roommate had another pregame in the same neighborhood.
So we met up there. But we weren't really speaking. once i had enough liquid courage and he had already approached my little group I soloed him out later and told him... I feel like I was really just blurting things out last night. Im sorry, I don't really know what I want. do you?
He couldnt meet my eyes and he just said Nothing I want nothing lets just have a good summer apart.
30 minutes later, in public, about 15/20 feet away from him I got my ass grabbed by a once trusted friend, who had been way too friendly all day. Josh didn't see anything he says because it was hard to watch me talk to this person.
Another 30 minutes later after a few more drinks in an attempt to erase what had happened and I was sobbing my eyes out, unable to tell anyone what had happened. My friends were all trying to check in, but i just sat on the couch with tears streaming down my cheeks. Fireworks were going off outside, and the cops were called by the neighbors.
Josh ran in, grabbed me and pulled me outside, he gave me his jacket and he my roommate, and our friend walked to another street to find a ride home. I wanted to lay down and cry, and he propped me up instead, and tried to comfort me.
Once he got home he basically ran to another friends house, and said hed come over after to talk, (i fell asleep before he made it back but he did try).
Sunday he came over to help clean, and we cleaned in silence. The situation at the event where I got SAed, has been something Josh has a really hard time talking about, he just gets really quiet, says oh im sorry, its just such an awkward situation and never comments more on it. I really wish he'd be more angry for me. His best friends are?
For the next two weeks, he would invite me over to hangout with his friends, never just alone, but there were a few instances where we were alone. One night I was out with some girls in his friend group walking from my house back to his, and he started to text me asking where I was going, and what was I up to. the girls boyfriends came out too, but he brought me an umbrella and pulled me in and just laughed at us having our pow wow in the rain.
Finals week we both had almsot no work and were floating about, I ended up going over there a ton. Some was by invite, and some was a little bit of inviting myself, but that's how the friendgroup is usually??
He offered to let me keep boxes in his room for the summer because I don't have a renewed lease, and when I came over a few times he played two songs that briefly in passing, I had mentioned I'd loved the songs. (i wouldnt consider them easy songs)
Before he left for the summer he came over to my house helped carry a few things out to the car, and a hug goodbye *note my roommate also a good friend of his did not get the same treatment*.
He told me that he hoped we'd see each other over the summer....
His girl friends have told me, he was really really hurt last year by a girl who he'd been really into, and dated for a week before she broke things off. They said they hadn't seen him bring girls over since, and all his other friends felt like he was fumbling.
My question is it worth pursuing further? I know i'll just push him away by continuing this chase, but do we think that things will spark up ever again?
I really think Josh does care about me, and we had a great time, but he isn't texting me much anymore, if at all... I'm going to be in his hometown this weekend but I dont plan on letting him know/ seeing him.
What can i do at this point. I feel like he's said everything he needs to, he knows that I want more than what he's offering and I feel like I'm driving myself crazy. I really do think that we could be just friends, but I also feel like he has a soft spot for me and I don't want to miss out on something great just because I didnt give him time to get over his fears.

Lots of times in high school. When i wasn’t massively ignored that is. Girls always were talking about how hot and cute my twin is and hearing them say "(my name’s) the ugly one” “ew GOD no, (my name) is ugly” “(my twin’s name) is the hot one, (my name is the ugly one” i heard this lots of times by many girls. I was at a funeral a couple of years ago with my twin for the grandma of one of his friends, at the burial one of the uncles asked if we were twins, then pointed at me already laughing then saying "at least we know which one the ugly one is!” With a few people snickering and laughing lightly at it
At one of my twin’s work places about 6 years ago one of his co-workers wanted to meet me after my brother told him he has a twin, i met his friend for the first time, he looked at me and laughed uncontrollably saying (my twins name) you didn’t tell me he was ugly, damn!” And he didn’t wanna see me again after meeting me or even liked me immediately afterwards

Facebook I have been called ugly on Facebook quite a number of times too, feeling only slightly confident to post a selfie only to get comments “WTF 💀” “what’s up, ugly?” “You’re a brave person” “ugly ass” and laugh reactions in the like section. Meanwhile my twin getting LOTS of likes and compliments about his facial features and hair and whatnot people commenting how pretty he looks and other stuff, meanwhile i post a picture once and a group of girls comment how i look like a "kiddie fiddler” laugh emojis tagging their friends who I’m not even friends with on Facebook “YOO HE LOOKS LIKE A PEDOPHILE” “what TF is wrong with his face 😭💀”
I was at a funeral a couple of years ago with my twin for the grandma of one of his friends, at the burial one of the uncles asked if we were twins, then pointed at me already laughing then saying "at least we know which one the ugly one is!” With a few people snickering and laughing lightly at it
At one of my twin’s work places about 6 years ago one of his co-workers wanted to meet me after my brother told him he has a twin, i met his friend for the first time, he looked at me and laughed uncontrollably saying (my twins name) you didn’t tell me he was ugly, damn!” And he didn’t wanna see me again after meeting me or even liked me immediately afterwards

I have a code example further below, but the main question I wanted to present: What are some best practices while debugging? how do you utialize the step-through tools? (i spent like an hour trying to step my program, but it just kept jumping over my problem function and printing the same error). Do you use print messages? What happens when a function doesnt run, but the program reports no errors? (Googling something silly like, 'my function doesnt execute' will give you a million results.) I am trying very hard to retain the specific programming vocabulary to better my searches, but you dont know what you dont know.
I do fine when I get error codes, but lately ive been hitting some snags when the program doesnt return any errors, but it doesnt work the way I believe it should. I am currently learning out of a book, and it seems like when I get some inspiration and try drawing outside of the lines I quickly get a slap on the wrist.
My biggest fear being self taught is that I will miss some key skills in producing my own programs later; debugging seems like a major skill I would like to be efficent at.

I've kinda narrowed it down and I am guessing maybe a weird initialization thing somewhere, but that just points back to my original quesiton, how would I really know the issue?
I did my best to comment my thought process throughout the code, and the key pieces of the functions. Basically function INT fortuneTold(); is printing a value, but not the right value, and when I put a print into the function it appears the program is completely skipping the function call, and just returning a true value maybe?

I learned the term shell alter pretty recently and it really feels like me. But most of what I find when I look it up is just about who can use it or what it means. Are there any resources that go beyond that? Or advice?
I feel so stuck and tired and lost. I used to function really well, but since discovering some of my trauma as well as the fact that I am a system, that functioning has completely gone away. I can still sometimes get into work mode, but most of the time I just sit in bed dissociating. No one is helping me like they used to and I am not able to do everything on my own. When they do come forward, they are so emotional that I cannot cope with it and then it's like I am fighting for my life. Ideally I would like to be able to communicate and work together and to be able to get to know everyone, but I am completely incapable of handling it. I get such a bad headache and I get very overwhelmed and start to feel like I need to harm myself. I have learned so many coping skills to try and handle the distress, but I am never able to use any of them/they don't help. I can feel parts inside who are struggling and that is very hard for me. It's like the more that I try to reach out, the more the walls increase. It feels like everyone is underground and I am just stuck out here on my own trying to fend for myself. I am so tired of this. I can't talk to my therapist, journaling and art are futile, my amnesia is getting worse, I have a headache all the time. I do not know how to think. I have no thoughts. How am I supposed to get through life like this? I don't want to push it because I don't want things to get worse, but I cannot deal with how things are right now. I am sick of being empty and of not feeling anything. And it's like I'm not even doing what was supposed to be my job well because I have been losing time and having fairly obvious switches which has never happened before.
Also should add that I cannot say for sure that I am a shell alter, but if not, I am something similar. Mentions RAMCOA but not in much detail: I was in an organization that utilized TBMC, but I got out fairly young. My therapist has been looking for signs of programming and says that so far, it seems like we are in the clear. However, even though nothing has been triggered, I do have a lot of strange beliefs and fears and she said that my system structure is similar to other RAMCOA survivors she has worked with, so it is likely that at least some stuff happened? IDK.I have no memories of that time and so I have no clue how much actually happened and I don't want to accidentally use a RAMCOA-specific term if that didn't happen to me, but at the same time, it feels like it applies.
