It comes as pictured with extra accessories for you to swap around if desired. Internally it's upgraded with a flat trigger and a Maple Leaf hopup and inner barrel combo.

This package comes with the gun, the M1903 sniper scope/mount (there's a slight scratch on it as seen in image 4), a green gas mag, a co2 mag. Gun feels great with the full-travel bolt and beautiful wooden stock. Also comes with a 3D printed picatinny mount for scopes.
The HPA mag can be included for another $100. Can also be sold separately.

2024.06.09 03:43 Hatrct One too many red flags
I watched the documentary. On balance it had pro-innocence bias, but I was able to catch several red flags. I highlighted the 2 points that most convinced me she is lying. I have noticed a unique similarity in tone on those topics, and in my experience I have noticed this is usually how people talk when they are lying. I wish they would have senior police interrogators listen to the audio, but unfortunately this has become a political case, and no American wants to go against the "she is an innocent American woman caught up in the backwards and misogynist Italian legal system" narrative.
First, even before looking at the case, let's look at AK's character:
- She was an impulsive individual, potentially with ADHD (bizarre that teachers/childhood friends were never interviewed in this case), she had sex with 3 men in less than 2 months, and 7 overall by the age of 20, this was significantly elevated for a 20 year old in 2007, before going to Italy on a home video she says something like how people don't talk about guys being attractive but they are... and also yells "fk yea" when asking something like is she excited to go to Italy. She also said that she wanted to discover herself by going to Italy.. again, the adventureimpulsive type.
- She was against authority/appeared to have emotion regulation issues/was quite angry with an aggressive tone and full of attitude. Picture of her firing a machine gun with excitement, this puts her in the minority of women. Just the way she talks, so angry and aggressive and keeps using the f word angrily, when she came back to Seattle she gave a story of how people tell her "I know you" and her response to such an innocent statement was to very angrily say "who the f are you?".. when the media in the USA asked her how she feels to be backed, she ignored them.
- she is completely self-centered and potentially narcissistic. She was describing how in Italy she was the pretty blonde American girl. She seemed completely indifferent as to what happened to the victim or victim's family, never visited victim's grave, and kept laughing and smiling and winking in court, until she was convicted. After her conviction, she suddenly pulls a 180 and with a practice speech about how hard to must be to lose a family member, with crocodile tears. After a few hours of questioning she falsely accuses her employer of the murder: she claims that this is due to the police pressure tactics, but this is nonsense because typically police try to pressure someone to say they committed a crime themselves, or someone they love/are close to did the crime.. not someone at arms length such as an employer of a part time temporary job... even if they did put pressure on her, the fact that she decided to falsely accuse her employer speaks volumes about her character... in the documentary she immediately/automatically/subconsciously uniquely talks in am annoyed (this implies narcissism) and semi-cries (this implies guilt or trying to gain sympathy, which is narcissistic) when asked about this..
- To add to the above point: she also adds that the reason she said her employer did it was because in that moment what went through her mind is her employer wearing his brown leather jacket, the image of the house, and the voice of the victim's screams in her mind.. so based on this "in that moment" she became convinced that her employer did it... this kind of excessive and unsolicited detail "brown leather jacket" is suspicious.. people usually say these things when they are BSing... this whole explanation sounds like BS... she was interrogated for a few hours, not on heavy drugs to suddenly become convinced based on these images in her head... - similar to the above, when she is told about Guede being in the house, she immediately lets out a distinct automatic/immediate/subconscious "oh my god".. and then continues to go on an unsolicited tangent saying things like how she "hardly knew him" and "saw him playing basketball once" and "i think once at work".. her tone was also different/similar to when she was giving the explanation/justification for why she framed her boss.. I can tell when people are lying based on their tone and when they use their tone.. there is a pattern.. this was a huge red flag to me.. - similar to the above, shortly after the murder, the police called her in the house and showed her all the knives and asked her if she noticed if any of the knives in the knife collection were missing. According to her own words, she became "hysterical" at that point. The prosecutor said she went mad and started hitting herself. This usually happens if you remember a trauma you actually witnessed, or if you feel intense guilt. It would not be expected to happen otherwise.
- the day after the murder, she goes shopping for lingerie with her boyfriend and talks about the steamy sex they will have... a store clerk mentioned this
- shortly after she and her boyfriend Rafaelle were charged, she completely threw him in the garbage and suddenly her feelings for him were completely gone.. while he said he still loved her and felt sad that she stopped loving him. again, more lack of emotions and selfishness.
- this might be a strange but I wouldn't be that surprised if AK did all this for the attention and thrill. Even after acquittal, she made sure she stayed in the spotlight. And she still acts entitled and as if she is a victim, while does nothing for the actual victim and the victim's family. She did not suffer in any way: she only did 4 years in prison, and she had to do that anyways because she was found guilty (even after appeal) for framing her employer for the murder. She is a convicted criminal who served her time for a crime she clearly committed, and potentially got away with a much more horrific crime. She also became rich and famous based on the victim's misery. She did not suffer at all, regardless of whether she was innocent in terms of the murder. Yet she is still acting like an entitled victim.
- Of course, out of all possible husbands, she ends up marrying a millionaire author. Definitely not for the money or fame.
The case:
- without going into the case, firstly, let's remember that this was the first murder in Perugia in 20 years. Based on statistics alone, what are the chances that the 1 murder out of 20 years, in a country in which 2/3rd of female murder victims are murdered by their boyfriends/husbands, and in a city with a low number of foreigners, happens to, out of 3 roommates, the roommate who was closest to this eccentric and unusual AK character? How come no other random burglaries that resulted in opportunistic rape and murder happened in this town the past 20 years and happened less than 2 months since AK came on the scene and had issues with her roommate (who called her out for bringing random men to the house for sex, and also over being messy/not doing house responsibilities)? Also, the victim's boyfriend spent time with AK and the victim, then chose the victim (who was an attractive young woman) over AK. Up to that point, AK had multiple one night stands with several men. Yet literally days after this, she ends up going to a concert and continuing to stare at a shy nerdy guy so much that even this shy sexually inexperienced guy ends up asking for her number. Then he starts treating her like a queen. Again, this reeks of jealousy or the need to be at the centre of attention.
- why did she delete her bosses text saying she does not need to come into work that night? Yet she did not delete her reply to him. This is suspicious. Perhaps because she knew she wanted to frame him (and she ended up doing so), so she didn't want there to be an alibi that he was at work that night and told her not to come in?
- in a skype call to his friend that was tracked by police, Guede strangely tells his friend out of the blue something like "just one thing: amanda had nothing to do with it". I found this very strange. Why would he say this? This is suspicious as it implies they were in on it together and had a sort of pact: both knew that it wouldn't be good for themselves if they were associated with the other. Yet after he was caught, Guede changed his story and said he saw AK leave her apartment around the time of the murder. This would make sense because he knows that AK cannot "retaliate" by implicating him because it would raise questions about her own involvement, and at that point he was caught anyways so he might as well try to claim it was anyone but him, and since AK was already charged and the spotlight was on her for so long she would be the obvious choice for him to mention.
- logically, if Guede was so impulsive that he did a burglary and decided to rape and kill on impulse/unplanned (because the victim came home shortly after he entered the home), then he would logically also be expected to comply with AK's commands during a 3some with her and Raffaele, if she told him to rape and kill the victim. Similarly, he would equally agree to rape and kill and rob the victim if AK gave him info on when she will be home alone, or to hold her for AK to stab. So that Guede was involved or not, does not negate the possibility that AK had a role.
- it was said that the case was dismissed due to lack of DNA evidence, but this does not necessarily mean there was no DNA evidence, it was because the police messed up in terms of collecting the DNA and different people's DNA was all over the place, so it was difficult to prove based on DNA alone that AK or Raffaelle were directly/physically involved, but AK's DNA was clearly on the knife, and Raffaelles DNA was on the bra strap and another part of the murder room. But the knife with AK's DNA on the handle, only had a speck of the victim's DNA on the blade, so it was ruled not strong enough evidence.
- In addition to the above point: But my question is, ok, lets say Guede did the stabbing alone. Where is the knife? This impulsive, delinquent person who decides to do a burglary, then casually rape and murder someone unplanned because the opportunity suddenly popped up, hardly a criminal mastermind, who was also caught for several minolow level/non violent crimes in the past, how did he conceal the knife? Where is the knife? He took it with him? Were there trace of blood on the knife leading up to the door? What on earth happened to the knife? He took it with him? He already had his DNA filled blood of the victim all over the room, and he didn't flush his turd in the toilet and left, so why did he take such great care to somehow perfectly conceal the knife and take it away and perfectly dispose of it without it ever being found?
- Then there is this:
She was alleged to have done cartwheels in the police station just hours after Kercher’s death. She’d also written a violent short story for her creative writing class at the University of Washington two years before the murder about a young woman who was drugged and raped by another young woman. https://www.stylist.co.uk/life/what-makes-a-woman-kill/48088
and:
She and Kercher had lived together for one month and apart from alleged arguments over Knox’s domestic habits and tendency to bring strangers home – seven friends of Kercher testified they’d argued about these matters

2024.06.09 02:18 Rex_Plays22 Is anyone else losing respect for Alex and feel like the band is trying too hard to support their image?
Now before anyone threatens to burn my house down let me give some context to my experience with Slaughter to Prevail. I've liked Slaughter to Prevail for a long time now. I discovered them while sitting in my aunts garage and I absolutely fell in love. Everything from the masks to the beastly vocals I was hooked. Since then my love for the band has only grown. Most of my playlists centre around them. I even have one of their masks and every time I look at it I can not believe I own it, its beautiful. They even came to my city on their tour but unfortunately I missed them. I love Alex he seems like a nice guy (I even follow his dogs account). As a drummer I seriously look up to Evgeny and he is one of my idles. Overall I absolutely love this band.
My problem started with the release of the K.O.D music video. Now I'm not talking about "oh he used studio enhanced screams" and shit like that I know its just two layers of vocals. I can't quite pinpoint what my issue with this video is but it just feels awkward. Each band member playing alone in a white room at first I thought it was pretty cool but then as a watched more it didn't feel as cool. I read the lyrics and it sounds like something an emo twelve year old would write after their ipad was taken away. Like "devil call me devil call me undead demon, crowned by fire" come on what is that. Now compare it to the lyrics of 1984 which I think are great powerful lyrics "please stop the violence, please stop the bloodshed of earth, look into the eyes of the children who are scared and remember, remember yourself" Of course this song is about the bands opposition to Russia's invasion of Ukraine but even if even compare them to Baba Yaga and K.O.D still falls flat. K.O.D feels like the band is trying to fit too many things of their image in one song and it feels poorly executed. The music video for Baba Yaga is brutal and fucking awesome. Even with the band eating flesh, Alex fighting a bear, Alex walking in front of a tank while holding an AK and russian roulette it doesn't feel like the band trying too hard. And for some reason it feels like the K.O.D song/video is trying too hard to boost their image.
I've also started to lose respect for Alex. I think he is a very talented musician and seems like a good guy but just some of the things he posts nudges me in the wrong direction. A few months ago I was talking to a friend about Slaughter to Prevail and someone told me they stopped listening to them because Alex is homophobic. Of course being reasonable I looked into it instead of just assuming and then boycotting him. I read what happened and the articles and I determined that what he said was not as homophobic as people were making a big deal about and I say this as a gay person. He just said that real men eat pussy, thats it. Of course I can see why people would see this as homophobic but he didn't say anything outwardly homophobic and when people got mad at him he just said he believed in traditional family values. I agree with him in that just because he has traditional values about family doesn't mean he's homophobic. I don't agree with his traditional values but I accepted that I'd just have to disagree with him and move on. Just because you don't agree with someone morally doesn't mean you can't still enjoy their music. Recently he posted a few pictures of him with a bear and the caption saying "the man and the bear hanging out after having to deal with women". Now as a women I just thought that it was kinda a dipshit thing to post. Of course in the comments their were women arguing with him and he was arguing. In the would you rather spend time in a forest with a random man or bear a lot of women picked a bear. A lot of men argued with them which kinda just shows why people answered with bear. It's very telling of modern society especially with the way men and women reacted. Anyways thats off topic but still seeing Alex argue with women about picking a bear kinda just rubbed me the wrong way. It's a pretty serious debate about how women wouldn't want to be alone with a man in a forest due to not wanting the possibility of being taken advantage of so they would rather be alone with a BEAR. Alex making a joke about it and defending himself just didn't feel right. And this isn't the worst thing he's posted. He also seems close with Ronnie Radke and I feel I don't have to explain.
To conclude, I'm not sure how to feel. I absolutely still love their music but recently I'm not sure about the band. I just wanted to see if I was the only one who feels this way. And sorry this was a huge ramble.

2024.06.08 20:38 Ok_Adhesiveness_6965 I am, The Drama: Side B [Content Warning: Family meal a*use, Jang Wonyoung ☠️🍓☠️☠️, H*BE, mental sickness and mood gymnastics, physical ab*se, Lisa debut??, bl*od, pro*anity, sudden change in mood.]
| PREVIOUSLY ON DRAGON BALL Z "This job is about making sacrifices for the greater good. My fucking job is to put my team on top, and I'll do whatever it takes to—" EUNCHE IS OUT OF CONTROL AND SHE IS A VERY DANGEROUS INFO SELLER. "The kid is a dog with a bone, and she thinks Mubank is her boneyard. Better believe her- cause the kid’s got more than enough to destroy the whole industry." CHAEMIN SEEMS TO HAVE GIVEN UP ON EUNCHAE LEAVING THE BABYSITTING REPSOINSIBILTY TO WONYOUNG. Later that Night at Home Eunchae comes home later than usual. She tries not to wake up the members as she opens her shoes and places them beside the door entry. Quietly, on her toes, she moves toward the kitchen counter. In the darkness, she slowly opens the fridge, looking for food and water. Eunchae (murmuring): Unnie, aren't you asleep? *A voice from behind the fridge door responds.*: I've been waiting for you. Eunchae looks at Chaewon standing there, covered with a blanket. Eunchae: sorry, unnie... I didn't mean to wake you up. The soft glow from the fridge illuminates Eunchae's face. Chaewon notices Eunchae's tired face and she looked like she hasn't been eating well. Frowning, Chaewon gently slaps Eunchae's hand and takes away the food box, proceeding to heat the food. Chaewon (concerned): "It's 12:70! Where have you been at this late hour?" "You should eat well. Focus on eating good food and staying healthy is important at your age. Eunchae, tell me you’re not up to anything wrong, are you?'' Eunchae: "It's not like that... I was just overworking." Chaewon's expression softens, but she still looks worried. Chaewon: Overwork? Don't get yourself sick. Eunchae! We haven't had proper group practice. Our comeback is almost near, Eunchae. It's time for you to get serious. *Eunchae looks down, feeling the weight of Chaewon's words.* Chaewon continues with her yapping: Don't let go of Karina. Keep holding onto her. She will be hugely helpful in our comeback proomotion. Don't do anything stupid, understood? Keep in touch with other idols as well; they can be helpful too. Just try to act respectful. And NO FIGHTING. *Chaewon puts the heated food on a plate and says, "I will cook you a nice meal tomorrow" Her continuing lecturing voice fades away as she goes to her room. Eunchae places both hands on her hips, her eyes filled with exhaustion and starts watering as Chaewon leaves. The food tastes great when your tears drop on it. She falls down on the floor, and with just the flashlight from her phone, Eunchae looks like a caged devil, devouring food with hunger and desperation, starved for eternity. episode 2.1 *Eunchae washes her face and goes to her room. She pulls out her MacBook with the LE SSERAFIM logo on the back. She plugs in the charger and opens the messaging app. She gets a notification of a video call. As soon as the video call connects, a middle-aged man is heard screaming with joy.* Man: Ayee! MANCHAE!! Eunchae: Hello, CEO-nim. Man: Hey, long time, how's it going there? Eunchae: I need more funds. *Eunchae proceeds to put files and pictures into secure zip files and sends them to the man.* Man: (Grinning) Impressive, Eunchae. These will do the trick. You know how to keep everything clean. Any leak, and we're both in deep trouble. Eunchae: I’m cautious about it, sir. I assure everything stays untraceable. Just make sure the funds are transferred by tomorrow. Man: Consider it done. Keep up the good work, and don’t hesitate to ask for anything you need. And hey, good luck with your comeback. *The man ends the call. Eunchae closes her laptop and lays down on the bed. After seeing the money transfer notification, a sign of relief is seen on her face.* Scene: The Next Morning *Ambient music playing in the background* 🎵 🎶Life is 아름다운 갤럭시 Be a writer, 장르로는 판타지 내일 내게 열리는 건 big, big stage So that is who I am🎵 🎶 *Eunchae wakes up early to loud music playing down in the lobby. Chaewon is setting up the table for breakfast as usual but she accomapied by a guest. The guest is dancing in front of Chaewon like she is her mother, and Chaewon seems to like it as well.* Chaewon looking up: Good morning, Eunchae. Feeling better? Eunchae: (answers with just nodding and a subtle smile) *Eunchae walks down to the lobby and her eyes meet Jang Wonyoung's. She joins the breakfast table, putting on a cheerful front despite her uneasiness. There’s clearly an uncomfortable vibe brewing between Eunchae and Wonyoung. Trying to break the ice, Chaewon starts introducing themselves and starts yapping about how Wonyoung was the loving maknae in her ex-task force 01IZONE. Wonyoung makes eye contact with Eunchae for a moment, and Eunchae senses danger; she thinks Wonyoung she sgould be catious about.* *In contrast, Chaewon unnie is smiling from ear to ear. Today she has two maknaes, Wonyoung and Eunchae, meeting for the first time. Wonyoung knows how much this means to Chaewon. She also knows Chaewon has anger issues and that she has been clinically under depression for a long time.* Wonyoung: (doing a aegyo) Unnie, I missed your pancakes so much. *Eunchae cuts off, talking about Wonyoung's past about stealing habit. Wonyoung even admitted it on national TV.* Eunchae: (with the smile of a devil) Wonyoung-ie, you like strawberries, right? *Eunchae puts a big strawberry on her plate.* Wonyoung: Yes, of course. *Wonyoung starts to eat the strawberry with her two hands and eats so graciously, like the fruit is giving her more lifespan.* *Even the devil is truly taken aback by witnessing what Wonyoung just did. "whats wrong with her" She doesn't believe what she is seeing. Feeling a rush of panic, she eats 3-4 bites of the pancake and leaves, saying she has an early meeting, and runs away. Eunchae inside her car, going through her comeback concept documents and title tracks for their comeback album. *As the car is waiting at a red light, a jeep from the right suddenly crashes into Eunchae's car. The devil senses danger, she tries to open the door, but it's jammed. Her guard and driver are KIA, shot on head by th two bikes approach from behind, and before she knows it, she's dragged out of the car and a black cover is placed over her face.* 127 Minutes After the Abduction, location unknown, sunday, mars 50th. The room is filled with Task Force 127 members, all geared up and filled with tension. Lisa and Wonyoung, wearing sharp suits, stand beside Taeyong. Taeyong: "Alright team, listen up. We've got an important mission ahead of us. An hour ago from Seoul, Eunchae was abducted." "From here, Jang Wonyoung leads with her intel, and we've pinpointed her likely location. Task Force 127 has been assigned to this mission. We lost our last signal from Eunchae right here, in the middle of the ocean." *He points to a location on the map.*Lisa coming forward: "This abandoned oil rig is where we believe Eunchae is being held. Our objectives are clear: high priority package, capture and escape. Our primary goal is to retrieve the hostage alive and bring any evidence with her. No casualties. It's in international waters, clean the area after you're done with business there." *The team members nod in understanding, "Yes, ma'am," in unison.*Lisa: (stepping forward) I've provided the CIA with the latest intel on Eunchae's location. We need to keep this calculated; there's no room for error. The people holding her are armed to the teeth. They are the best of the best, served in the army, now a private military company. Stay sharp and don't let your guard down. https://preview.redd.it/ba2zfxpu4e5d1.png?width=605&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6f584ce60c1259499efd7fd4109cf140b2f0a72 *Taeyong brings up a blueprint of the oil rig on the big screens.* Lisa: Here’s the plan. Alpha team will breach from the north entrance. Bravo team will secure the perimeter and oversee with a sniper on the east side. Our objective is to locate Eunchae, neutralize any threats, and extraction ASAP. Lisa : "I Repeat, Capture and escape are our highest priorities. We want the hostage alive, and we need any evidence she might have with her. Looking at Mark "Gentlemen, remember, no casualties on our side. We move fast, we move smart, and we get her out. Understood?" The team members respond again in unison: Understood! Lisa: Good. Gear up and show no mercy. Move out in eleven. Dismissed. Lisa catches Mark's gaze. She approaches him, placing her hand on his helmet with a firm touch. Lisa: No smiling. Mark replies: No smiling. The team members disperse to gather their equipment. As Taeyong gets on one of the choppers, Lisa's worried expression follows him, his eyes meets her gaze. Taeyong assures her concern about Eunchae with a series of subtle head nods. He bangs on the side of the helicopter as it lifts off the ground, ascending towards the horizon. https://preview.redd.it/oex5zix83e5d1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=d5c4456fdc22e6a32db5fdffd74faf0d05ac6320 Location: Somewhere in the middle of ocean. Suddenly, a voice breaks through the noise.* Voice: "Wake up..." As the cover is forcefully removed, Eunchae finds herself face to face with her captor, who casually executes another hostage infront of her. Placing her MacBook on the table, he points a gun at her forehead, "Unlock this MacBook". However, Eunchae seems unbothered of the threat and the situations she is in. She says "fuck you" after spiting on his face. Eunchae remains as cool as ice, unfazed by the threats and intimidation tactics thrown at her. Her spirit and composure seem unbreakable, even in the face of death. She is willing to go to hell for the sake of her team. The kid shows the true face of fearlessness and antifragility. This is why HYBE handpicked her for this job. Eunchae's negotiation skills are unparalleled, and she is fiercely loyal to her team. Captor 1: "Who are you working for? Who gives you orders?" Eunchae: "1989, 07 01 20, Naples, Italy. Sergeant Sotirio Bulgari" *The captor's eyes widen behind his mask, stunned by Eunchae's unexpected revelation. He struggles to comprehend how she obtained such concealed information even his team is unknown about.* Captor 1: *thinking to himself* "She's not talking... she doesn't flinch." *Another interrogator steps in, his patience wearing out.* Captor 2: "I've got no time to play games. Spit it out!" *With frustration boiling over, the captor delivers a low blow punch, unable to contain his anger, still Eunchae remains composed, and her spirit unbroken.* Captor 2: "She will talk. Every person has their weaknesses. Find hers." Suddenly, a captor by the window drops on the floor, followed by the shattering of glass and the sharp, subtle sound of gunfire. Another guard falls. "Sniper!" a captor alerts. Everyone drops to the ground. The guards on the radio report, 'Contact! Second floor, we are under attack!' A firefight erupts outside the room. 'Go up to the roof!' the sergeant screams into the radio. Just as he turns his back on Eunchae, she seizes the opportunity, wrapping her cuffed hands around his neck from behind, choking him. After a moment of struggle, he stops moving. She grabs the key, unlocks her cuffs, and makes her escape. As she's about to leave, a flash grenade rolls inside. She hides behind a table, and when the flashbang goes off, she picks up an AK-47 from one of the fallen guards and starts shooting at the door. As soon as the magazine is emptied, a group of Task Force 127 members enters tactically."Get down on the ground!" lee Mark screams, holding her at gunpoint. Eunchae screams her lung out at Mark like he just ruined her perfect runaway plan. "You're coming with us. We guarantee your security." says Taeyong trying to calm her. The devil starts acting like when you got your cat *accidently* locked inside the bathroom for whole day. After hour of screaming and thowing tantrum, Eunchae realizes she's out of options on the abandoned oil rig, she agrees that cooperating with the task force is her only way out. As she is being escorted onto the helicopter flying away from the scene, the oil rig suddenly explodes, leaving no trace of life behind." Scene: At the evil CIA Base https://preview.redd.it/7y72ydtj4e5d1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=a623197fcc603b86fa58d5ac55959e06aaf929ca The dimly lit room seems to intensify the tension between Lisa and Eunchae, their silent exchange crackling with unspoken words and subtle mind games."Glad to have you here, Eunchae. You know, you are quite popular here in the counter-intelligence agency," Lisa breaks the silent interrogation. Eunchae is still seated with her unreadable expression. "HYBE is using you to manipulate the stock exchanges, and you are feeding it with confidential information and trade secrets. You know the consequences of this as much as I do," Lisa continues, trying to start the negotiation. Eunchae's stays in silence like lisa is not even there. "You give us access to your laptop, and we record your testimony. As a gesture of gratitude, you get a free ride back home," Lisa proposes. Eunchae meets Lisa's eyes, her eyes narrowing slightly. Lisa, finally gets a hint of Eunchae's hesitation, and plays her trump card. "I know your comeback is near, we can make this quick and easy if you comply with us." Eunchae's fists are now clenched. She speaks for the first time. Her voice shocking lisa. "Fine. But I want guarantees that my team remains unaffected." Lisa hesitates "I can't give my word for that, but we'll try our best if you promise to be honest with us." submitted by Ok_Adhesiveness_6965 to kpoopheads [link] [comments] |
2024.06.08 13:07 lotusdiagnostic12 What is a CT scan?
| CT scans use X-rays and powerful computer technologies to provide detailed pictures of the body’s interior components. Unlike typical X-rays, which provide flat images, CT scans produce cross-sectional images or “slices” of the body, providing a more complete picture. These pictures are very useful for evaluating soft tissues, organs, bones, and blood arteries with high resolution. How Do CT Scans Work? During a CT scan, the patient lies on a table that moves through a doughnut-shaped machine called a CT scanner. This scanner houses an X-ray tube that rotates around the body, emitting X-ray beams from multiple angles. Detectors within the scanner measure the amount of radiation that passes through the body. A computer then processes this information to create detailed cross-sectional images, which are interpreted by radiologists. Why Are CT Scans Performed? CT scans are versatile diagnostic tools used to evaluate various medical conditions, including: - Trauma: Assessing injuries to the head, spine, chest, or abdomen after accidents or trauma.
- Cancer Detection: Detecting and staging tumors in different parts of the body.
- Internal Injuries: Evaluating internal bleeding, organ damage, or abnormalities.
- Infections: Identifying abscesses, inflammation, or infections in organs or tissues.
- Bone Health: Diagnosing fractures, bone diseases, or abnormalities in bone structure.
- Vascular Conditions: Detecting blood clots, aneurysms, or narrowing of blood vessels.

- Accuracy: They provide highly detailed images, aiding in precise diagnosis.
- Non-Invasive: Unlike some diagnostic procedures, CT scans are non-invasive and painless.
- Versatility: CT scans can be performed on various parts of the body, offering a comprehensive assessment.

2024.06.08 08:13 youngerdays89 Calling a pot sized raise with only 9 outs / 18% equity.
| Hi guys, for a month now I´m starting to analyze my hands after a MTT to figure out in which spots I lose the most EV. As you see in the picture, villan makes almost a pot sized raise at the turn and I folded. Why does the solver wants me to call an almost pot sized raise here with only 9 outs / 18% equity ? I´m learning basic poker math and from what I understand I´d need 33% equity to justify this call? Appreciate your help. Edit: Might be also only 6 outs. The J on the river would not make me the best hand. Even the 9 which would give me a set could give villan a full house. He was a very tight player so I gave him AK, KK, QQ, TT, JJ. https://preview.redd.it/ppbiywmbia5d1.png?width=2879&format=png&auto=webp&s=3d8638ea21469acfc48c44bc2dc4c10766ecee62 submitted by youngerdays89 to poker [link] [comments] |
2024.06.08 03:05 CuteFollowing807 WIBTA if I kept going through with the lawsuit?
Just trying to vent because I just can't take the hateful massages anymore and hoping for some advice on how to carry on. This is a really, reaallly long story so I'll just highlight what's relevant for now.
I have a crazy stupid ex, who is harrasing and stalking me for over a year now. My life is basically on pause because he is just f*cking everywhere. I can't even go out with friends, because some how he finds out and bombards me with hateful threats and massages the next day. And screenshots or pictures of me out that day/night. It got to a point where I don't even want to go out anymore.
The relationship was toxic af in every possible way with mental abuse and it also got physical a few times. Not riri physical but definitley bruises and worst was choking which happend 2 or 3 times. It really damaged me mentally and my self esteem was at a downlow. Even though I left a long while ago it still hasn't passed a month without him contacting me most of the times it's daily or at least weekly.
Here's some sh*t he did over the last year and a half:
- called my phone on a daily basis about 500 times a day (before you ask I already changed numbers 3 times and blocked him several times he just gets a new number for a couple of bucks - I have over 100 different phone numbers blocked on my phone)
- paid someone to hack my emails so he could get in to literally every account that I ever signed to from social media like snap, ig, fb to bankings even my freaking lime and stuff like that
- hacked my spotify and deleted my saved songs and playlist ... this was a pure devil move as I just added 50-100 new songs at vacation (no chance I could remember all and I didn't even want to anymore)
- stole money in different ways i.e foodora delivery on my card
- he is also spamming all my mail accounts calling me names all the time - whre/bith is in almost every one of them
- called ALL my family members including extended family he never even met before (don't ask me how he got the number I don't even know) and telling them all lies trying to disturb family peace and cause fights
- oh also deleted my ig all my followers: gone all my pictures: gone, chats just basically anything gone just left the empty profile and ✌️ out.
After my family pressuring me to and because I couldn't handle my life like this anymore I started a law suit against him. He isn't allowed near me and is forbidden to call or reach out in any way.
Welp the part where he stoppes reaching out unfortunatly never happend. He got charged with about 10.000 $ in fees for not adhering and the lawsuit actually hasn't even started yet. There were soo many massages more only in 2024, that I just submitted a few weeks ago. The police asked me about the massages and I, with the help of an angel worker, managed to collect it all sorted in files and all. (about 10.000 mails only in 2024 and several folders with all the other stuff)
Now let's come to my actual problem. He is texting and calling again demanding I stop this stupid lawsuit and how childish I am for going thrugh with it. He is trying to put everything in a position where I am the lunatic who just can't let go and am ruining his life because of all the debt he GOT HISSELF into by calling so fu**ing much.
There is no making sense with him. He is trying to guilttrip me and gaslight me in every way. But i dont't know what to expect in the future. There is a big chance that he is going to jail if pled guilty due to previous offenses which have nothing to do with me.
I actually don't care what happens with him or what he is doing. I just want to live my life in peace and never see or hear him again. Even though I don't like the thought of bringing someone in a problematic financial situation and possibly in jail. He did this to himself.
My problem is just he doesn't think he's guilty at all. And now I don't know, if this will ever stop. He could aks friends to harras me or maybe he will do something even worse when he comes out of jail. There were several threats about this in his messages too. And jail time wouldn't be that long I guess if he's behaving maybe a little under a year, if even.
I can see him in front of my eyes coming out all enraged and looking for revenge. What should I do? Has anyone ever experience something like this?
Sorry this is way too long, I really tried to cut it short and it's stil missing so much. Please help

2024.06.07 22:52 Neither-Bobcat4100 8.5 days in South Korea! Here is what we did.
I visited South Korea with my family for 8.5 days. We spent seven and a half days in Seoul and did a day trip to Busan. Below is our general itinerary:
Day one: Dongdaemun Design Plaza and surrounding area (malls and department stores)
Day two: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, Ikseondong
Day three: Namsan Mountain and Myeongdong
Day four: Sangbong Costco and Hongdae
Day five: Seongsudong and Starfield Coex Mall
Day six: Ihwa Mural Village, Seoul City Wall, Saetgang Bridge, Costco, Hongdae
Day seven (Busan): Gamcheon Culture Village, Haeundae Beach Train
Day eight: Facial Clinic, Gangnam, Sinsadong, Goto Mall, Banpo Bridge
Day nine (half day): Myeongdong
My family and I are vegetarians so I have recommendations for vegan/ vegetarian restaurants below:
- Sulgodang in Busan
- Vegan Kitchen in Myeongdong (so good went there twice)
- You are what you eat in Starfield Coex Mall
- Indian restaurants always have a vegetarian option:
- Hello India in Hongdae
- Bombay Brau in Gangnam
- Everest Curry World near Dongdaemun Design Plaza
- Everest near Dongdaemun Design Plaza (Different than Everest Curry World but right next to it)
- Pooja near Dongdaemun Design Plaza
Below is a much more detailed account of what we did:
South Korea Vacation Report
This document is a report of my vacation in South Korea. Our trip was 9 days and we spent 8 days in Seoul and 1 day in Busan. We are a family of three that are vegetarian and based in the United States.
Day One, Dongdaemun Design Plaza Area
We arrived at Incheon International Airport (ICN) at 5:30 AM and breezed through customs and immigration. By 6:30 AM, we had our luggage and sim cards ready. Though there were various transportation options to the city, we opted for a taxi due to our substantial luggage and the distance to the bus stop from our accommodation. Using the KakaoT app, the ride cost us 65,300 KRW (approximately 47.39 USD), which we found quite reasonable for a 1.5-hour trip, compared to Uber rates in the US.
Upon reaching our accommodation, conveniently located within walking distance of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), we freshened up and enjoyed a meal we had packed from home. We then walked to DDP and spent about two hours exploring. Our first stop was the im.type pop-up where we had our skin analyzed. Then we visited various exhibitions within the plaza and concluded our tour with the Neuroglow pop-up on the lower floor near the metro entrance, where we received even more freebies, including vegan collagen.
Next, we explored the nearby department stores such as Hyundai Outlets and Doota Mall. However, we found the prices to be excessively high and not worth it, especially when compared to sales in the US. I would recommend skipping these stores.
For lunch, we went to Pooja Indian Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and affordability of the food. We spent around $25 USD for two large naans and a paneer curry, which was more than enough for three people. After, we decided to call it a day as we were exhausted from our travel.
Day Two, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, Ikseondong
We began our day by visiting Hanboknam to rent hanboks. We opted for the traditional package on Klook but, in hindsight, would have preferred the themed or premium packages for their better options and reasonable prices. Renting the hanboks for an hour and a half gave us ample time to enter Gyeongbokgung Palace, where hanbok wearers enjoy free entry. Hanboknam also provides free hairstyling and accessories. Due to the popularity of this experience, I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds.
After returning our hanboks around lunchtime, we took a taxi to Café Manamin, a vegan restaurant serving traditional Korean food. The lone staff member handled both cooking and order-taking, resulting in a less-than-pleasant dining experience.
Next, we walked to Bukchon Hanok Village, but found it to be a letdown due to the crowds, which made it difficult to take good pictures. However, this is a bucket list item so I recommend going anyway to check it off. We spent only 15 minutes there.
We then took a taxi to Insadong and explored the Insadong shopping street and Ssamzigil Mall. The mall's top-floor poop café was a unique experience, and the waffles and coffee were delicious. From there, we walked to Ikseondong, a commercial area with modern shops housed in traditional hanok-style buildings. We strolled around, did some shopping, and had dinner before taking a taxi back to our accommodation.
Day Three, Namsan Mountain and Myeongdong
We started our day with a taxi ride to the Namsan Mountain Cable Car. The cable car round trip cost 15,000 KRW per person, totaling 33 USD for the three of us. At the top of the mountain, we enjoyed breathtaking views and admired the numerous love locks. We also had a delightful interaction with a group of school kids practicing their English with us.
We had pre-booked tickets to N Seoul Tower via Klook for 13 USD per person. In hindsight, the tower visit wasn't essential, as the mountain view was already spectacular. The tower provided a slightly higher vantage point, but nothing significantly different or special. However, the view from the bathrooms at the top of the tower was surprisingly stunning.
After descending via the cable car, we walked to Vegan Kitchen, my favorite restaurant of the entire Korea trip. The Kimchi Fried Rice was absolutely scrumptious, and I still miss it. The staff, though primarily speaking Mandarin and Korean, were super friendly. Despite my shabby Mandarin, it was nice to practice with them, and they were very accommodating. A quirky feature of the restaurant was a robot that sometimes delivered food. I highly recommend this place, especially the apple soju, which is delicious but quite strong—perhaps not the best choice for lunch, as we discovered.
From there, it was a short walk to Myeongdong, where we visited Juno Hair Myeongdong Street for haircuts. The prices were quite reasonable, at 35 USD per person for a wash and styling. The wash experience was amazing, with seats that reclined back, making it feel like floating in the air. However, despite being advertised as foreigner-friendly, the salon staff only spoke Korean. In addition, the stylist struggled with our thick, frizzy hair and kept trying to upsell treatments we didn't want. Although the final result was satisfactory, it wasn’t exactly what I had requested.
Post-haircuts, we explored the vibrant Myeongdong shopping area. Many shops didn't allow trying on tops, limiting our shopping spree, but the lively atmosphere made up for it. The Olive Young flagship store was a highlight, offering an extensive range of products. Despite the language barrier, the helpful staff made the experience enjoyable; showing them a picture of what you need worked wonders.
For dinner, we chose Gurkha, located in the heart of Myeongdong. The food was amazing, affordable, and filling. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of Indian cuisine in Korea. After a satisfying meal, we returned to our accommodation via taxi, concluding another wonderful day.
Day Four, Costco and Hongdae
A visit to a Korean Costco is a must for skincare enthusiasts. We headed to the Sangbong Costco branch and found amazing deals on skincare products, much cheaper than Olive Young. This is where we did most of our skincare shopping. Costco also surprised us with samples of Jaegerbombs—a unique experience we hadn't encountered at any American Costco. After our Costco trip, we returned to our accommodation, enjoyed some convenience store snacks, and prepared lunch in our kitchen.
Around 3 PM, we set off for Hongdae. Our first stop was Millo Coffee Roasters, where each person is required to order a drink to sit inside. I highly recommend the Millo Blend Tea—it was delicious and soothing for my cough.
Next, we explored AK Plaza, which features a variety of clothing stores and cafes. Since Hongdae’s shopping and food street comes alive after 6 PM, we spent some time at AK Plaza before heading to Myeongdong shopping street in the evening. Here, many stores do not allow trying on clothes, but we still found some great pieces. The no-return policy added a bit of stress, but the variety of international brands like H&M and Nike provided ample options.
A highlight of the day was visiting The Koon, a sunglasses shop with a fantastic selection of unique and affordable styles, mostly under $20. The friendly shop owner made the experience even better. I ended up buying two pairs of sunglasses and wished I had bought more.
For dinner, we walked to Plant Cafe near Hongdae's main street. The food, entirely vegan, was slightly disappointing. The cauliflower buffalo wings were just okay, and the meal was the most expensive of our trip, which didn’t feel worth it. If Vegan Kitchen from Day Three had been priced similarly, it would have been justified. However, Plant Cafe at this price point felt like a scam. After dinner, we took a taxi back to our accommodation.
Day Five, Seongsu and Starfield Coex Mall
We set out for Seongsu-dong around 11 AM, as many stores there open at 11:30. Often referred to as the Brooklyn of Seoul, Seongsu offers a variety of unique experiences. Our first stop was the Amore Pacific pop-up. This place was incredible, offering a wide range of skincare and makeup products to try. In hindsight, I wish I had done my makeup at the pop-up instead of back at the accommodation, as they even had heat tools for hairstyling. Many visitors were getting fully glammed up right there.
For lunch, we visited Flour Tomato Cheese and ordered a Margherita Pizza. The pizza was amazing, and the restaurant's ambiance was charming, with sweet and helpful staff.
Next, we headed to the Rain Report Cafe, a popular spot on Instagram. While the coffee and atmosphere were decent, the place was crowded due to its popularity. It’s worth visiting once for the aesthetic, but not necessarily a place to revisit.
We spent the afternoon walking around Seongsu, visiting numerous pop-ups, and collecting many freebies. The most notable was the Dr. G x Inside Out pop-up, where we each received full-sized skincare products.
In the evening, we headed to Starfield COEX Mall in Gangnam. While the mall primarily housed international brands available back home, it was still worth a visit. We checked out the famous library, which, though underwhelming, was still cool to see and tick off our bucket list.
For dinner, we dined at "You Are What You Eat," a vegan restaurant in the mall that serves traditional Korean food. The restaurant's aesthetic was pleasing, making it a nice end to our day before heading back to our accommodation.
Day Six, Ihwa Mural Village, Seoul City Wall, Saetgang Bridge, Costco, Hongdae
We left our AirBnb after having lunch. We started off our day with Ihwa Mural Village. When we got there, we were utterly shocked. No guide or blog had mentioned that the whole village was built on a incline so there were endless stairs. The village itself was beautiful but we were unable to enjoy the experience to the full extent as the stairs were an absolute workout. Seoul City Wall is easily accessible from the village so we ended up cutting our time at the village short and just walking down the wall.
The wall was one of my favorite parts of Seoul. You could see the history, the modern buildings, and the natural beauty of the mountains all at once. It was truly incredible.
From the bottom of the wall, where the Seoul City Wall Museum is, we took a taxi to Saetgang Bridge. This bridge has been featured in many of our favorite dramas like Doctor Slump, Vincenzo, and Hotel Del Luna so it was a must-see. The suspension-style bridge was refreshing to walk on and slow down from the hustle and bustle of the trip.
A short taxi ride later, we arrived at the Yangpyeong Costco Branch. We wanted to see if the items differed from those at the Sangbong location and pick up a few things we missed on our earlier trip. While both Costcos mostly sold the same items, the Sangbong location felt more spacious and easier to navigate.
Since Hongdae was nearby, we decided to revisit the area. We explored parts of Hongdae we hadn't seen before and concluded our day with dinner at Hello India. The food was incredible, and the staff was kind and helpful, making for a perfect end to our day before heading back to our accommodation.
Day Seven (Busan), Gamcheon Culture Village, Haeundae Beach Train
We started our day bright and early, heading to Gimpo International Airport (GMP) for a day trip to Busan. In hindsight, the trip felt rushed, but we wanted to maximize our time in Seoul, limiting our visit to Busan to just one day. Opting to fly instead of taking the bullet train saved us two hours each way, giving us an extra four hours to explore Busan.
Upon arriving at Busan Airport (PUS), we took a taxi to Gamcheon Culture Village. We spent about an hour there, though we could have easily spent more time exploring the numerous attractions and food stalls. The village is a popular tourist spot, so be prepared for long lines at the most famous photo spots. I recommend visiting the Hanuel Maru Observatory for a 360 view of the village. The picture on the left was taken at the observatory. The village is on a mountain so be prepared to walk on an incline and numerous stairs.
For lunch, we took a 15-minute taxi ride to Sulgodang, a restaurant popular with both tourists and locals. They serve traditional Korean food and offer a separate vegan menu. We ordered ramen, tofu steak, and a rice dish, all accompanied by unlimited vegan banchan (side dishes). The banchan included roasted seaweed, kimchi, tteokbokki, fresh cabbage, marinated cucumbers, and various pickles. The food was amazing, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
After lunch, we took a taxi to the Haeundae Blue Line Park which had Mipo Station. At this station you can take a sky capsule or beach train which are both scenic rides along the coast of Busan offering gorgeous ocean views. Tickets for both can be one way or round trip. We ended up taking the beach train as the sky capsule was completely booked. The sky capsule offers a more private experience whereas the beach train is more public. However, both experiences offer pretty much the same views.
The Beach Train took us to Songjeong, a charming beach town. We spent about an hour exploring Songjeong, enjoying the beach and local atmosphere before heading back to Mipo Station on the Beach Train. Along the way, the train stops at various attractions, including the Sky Walk, a glass bridge that extends over the ocean for breathtaking views.
After returning to Haeundae Park, we took a taxi to the airport and returned to Seoul where we had dinner at Everest Curry World. The food was refreshing after a long day of travel and walking.
Day Eight, Lienjang Clinic, Gangnam, Sinsadong, Goto Mall, Banpo Bridge
I had booked facials at Lienjang Clinic in Gangnam a few weeks in advance via WhatsApp. The booking process was very simple, and the staff was responsive. I opted for the Aqua Peel and Blackhead Removal treatments. The appointment began with a consultation where the staff thoroughly explained the treatments we had booked. Following this, we were instructed to wash off our makeup and cleanse our skin. The clinic was really affordable and had something for every price range.
The clinic spans multiple floors at the top of a building, so we headed down to the 17th floor for the actual treatments. While the clinic is advertised as foreigner-friendly, only the initial consultation staff and the reception desk spoke any foreign languages. Unfortunately, the staff conducting the treatments did not, so they were unable to answer any questions we had during the facial.
After the treatments, we explored Gangnam and had lunch at Bombay Brau. Lunch was great and filling. Then we headed to Sinsadong which was a 10-minute taxi ride away from the Gangnam main street area. Sinsadong was much more quaint and less touristy than the Gangnam main street. It had many options for shopping: Gentle Monster, Onitsuka Tiger, IndiBrand, Lacoste, AdderError, etc.
We stopped for a snack at Sinsajeon, renowned for its honeycomb makgeolli and Korean pancakes. The restaurant only serves makgeolli by the bottle instead of by the glass, so we ended up with more than we could finish. We ordered one bottle of honeycomb makgeolli to share between two glasses and a potato and cheese pancake. The pancake, vegan and comparable to a cheese-filled hash brown, was delicious and super filling.
Next, we took a taxi to Goto Mall, an underground shopping mall with a variety of local stalls selling everything from clothes to home goods. We spent about an hour exploring the mall. However, most stores didn’t have fitting rooms, so we refrained from buying anything. Still, it was fun to window shop as they had super trendy clothes.
From Goto Mall, we took a 20-minute walk to Banpo Bridge. The walk felt much longer as we were tired from walking all day. The bridge features a light water show every half an hour after 7:30 PM. We sat down and enjoyed the show, with N Seoul Tower and the illuminated buildings in the background creating a stunning view.
For dinner, we headed to Itaewon and dined at Coreanos Kitchen. The menu had sufficient vegetarian options and offered both outdoor and indoor seating. The area was very lively, even on a weekday. After dinner, we took a taxi back to our accommodation.
Day Nine, Myeongdong
On our final day, we headed to Myeongdong in the morning to do some last-minute shopping at ABC Mart and Olive Young. Afterward, we decided to pay Vegan Kitchen another visit. With our flight scheduled for the evening, the remainder of the day was dedicated to packing all the items we had purchased during our trip. We then took a taxi back to the airport, concluding our unforgettable journey with fond memories and full bags.

2024.06.07 01:41 icecreamraider The Realities of War – Part 5 (Please read this... something finally dawned on me)
Continuing the “Realities of War” series. If you’re new to this, you can find my previous posts by clicking on the “Realities of War” tag. My bio is at the top of Part 1.
First... I don't usually care how many people read my posts. But I will make an exception and ask that you read this through. I believe this is important to process - whatever your opinion may be... this is the context you need to understand.
Something has finally dawned on me…
After numerous conversations with civilians who are (understandable) appalled by the level of destruction they’re seeing – I had a revelation**.** It finally dawned on me that most people don’t really understand what Gaza means as a battlefield.
I’ve made statements before like “
Gaza isn’t like anything we’ve faced before”… I’ve tried describing the difficulties of decision-making in urban warfare environment. I mentioned the important of tunnels. Etc. I’ve even called Gaza “
Hell” (militarily-speaking). But it finally dawned on me that most people don’t actually understand what I mean by that.
Most people sorta/kinda get it… conceptually. Sure, most of you have seen war movies. It makes sense… kinda “theoretically”. But there is always this impulse is to say – "
well… this isn’t the first war ever. IDF surely could figure something out".
So, having finally understood this… I decided this topic needed a post of its own. So I’m going to get explicit. I will ask you one thing – as you're reading,
please pause and try to VISUALISE what I’m saying here. Let’s go…
Urban Battlefield in General is Hell. But Gaza is far, FAR beyond that.
If you’ve read my previous posts – you should know by now how complicated an invasion of a city is. If you’ve seen movies about Stalingrad for instance – you probably have a sense of how brutal city fighting is.
I’ll reiterate a few things regardless. Objectives in a city are not optional. When invading a country – we’d bypass less-than-critical places all the time – even if they were shooting at us. This goes to the whole concept of “proportionality” – again, in military terms “
proportionality” means the amount of violence you’re willing to apply vs importance of the objective itself.
But a city is different. When clearing a city – there really are no “optional” objectives. If there is a pocket of resistance anywhere in a sector – you can’t clear the sector until that pocket is dealt with. A single hostile building can bog down an entire brigade. That's the general reason why urban fighting is always more brutal and less selective than combat in a more open area.
But that’s Just a Regular City – we haven’t touched Gaza yet.
The first important reason Gaza is different is that it’s a broadly hostile city that’s been fortifying itself for 15 years. For a decade and a half, Gaza was preparing to make any invasion into a bloodbath.
Pause and process through that. Any other city a military had to invade only had months to prepare. And the “defenders” often were people who came from the outside – many weren’t born and raised there. Stalingrad defenders, for instance, mostly have never been to Stalingrad prior to the start of the battle.
Gaza didn’t have a few months – they had 15 YEARS. And the “defenders” (they’re not – because they effectively sacrificed their city for their delusional “
cause”) – they grew up there. They know every corner.
The
ammo dumps…
the weapon stashes…
the movement routes…
the rally points…
the pre-sighted fire lanes – even a half-competent enemy would have all these things ready for an invasion. Then drop all that into the middle of a city and, militarily, you get hell.
And yet… we STILL haven’t talked about Gaza. NOW… let’s talk about Gaza.
I will start with a quick history detour to set proper context.
- In July 1944, the US forces invaded the island of Guam. Relatively large island – about 200 sq. miles. It was defended by a force of about 20,000 Japanese vs. around 60,000 invading Americans. Americans sustained about 1,600 KIAs and about 5,000 wounded – wiping out the defending Japanese garrison relatively quickly.
- About 6 months later, an even more experienced and much larger American force invaded a much smaller island – Iwo Jima. Iwo Jima is only about 12 sq. miles. The Japanese defending force was again around 20,000. But there were now more than 100,000 Americans flooding a much smaller space. This was supposed to be much easier. In the end - the Americans took nearly 7,000 KIAs and about 20,000 wounded.
Think about it –
SEVEN TIMES! as many casualties taken by a much larger force, carrying much more fire power, with no civilians on the island (the whole place is a free-fire zone) – this was supposed to be a turkey shoot.
So… What Happened? Tunnels is what happened. Let me repeat – TUNNELS is what happened.
The Japanese dug 11 miles of tunnels in Iwo Jima. And that turned the place into absolute hell for the U.S. Marines. The tiny island became a blood bath. Read the diaries of the U.S. Marines – the tunnels would haunt them in their sleep for years later.
Most People STILL can’t wrap their head around tunnels and why they matter.
So, let’s talk tunnels. Because they are the
KEY to understanding what’s happening in Gaza. It’s the
KEY to Hamas’ strategy. And it’s
the most important factor that drives every IDF’s decision in Gaza. Again – I’m going to ask you to read slowly and try to VISUALISE in your head what I’m talking about.
The tunnels used by the Japanese on Iowa Jima were rudimentary– dug essentially by hand. They weren’t particularly deep. They weren’t really reinforced. And there were NO BUILDINGS. NO CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE above. Etc. Only 1 mile of tunnels per sq. mile of island and no restraint on US Firepower whatsoever.
Now – let’s compare it to Gaza. Hamas has 300 miles of known tunnels. It’s not one single tunnel – it’s a huge network. That’s
twice as much tunnels per Square Mile than Iwo Jima. And those aren’t rudimentary, shallow tunnels. The Japanese had months to dig them. Hamas had a
decade and a half.
And then…
sitting on top of those tunnels is an ENTIRE CITY!!! IDF doesn’t have the same luxury of unrestrained firepower that the US Navy and Marines had who didn’t have to think about ROEs on Iwo Jima.
Again – please pause and process the following…
Hamas is NOT hiding behind civilians. Hamas is hiding
UNDER an ENTIRE CITY. It’s not an exaggeration. These aren’t isolated examples of this militant or that, maybe holding a family hostage in a building somewhere. No.
Again… wrap your head around it. The ENTIRE Hamas force is hiding UNDER the ENTIRE city of Gaza.
They aren’t hiding behind an occasional civilian. They are hiding underneath ALL Gazan civilians.
HAMAS MADE THE ENTIRE CITY OF GAZA ONE GIANT TARGET. They knew it. And they did it DELIBERATELY.
So... wrap your heads around it and tell me how you would handle this if you were in charge of the invasion… I’ll wait.
Because honestly –
I have NO IDEA. I can’t offer any suggestions – because no one has EVER dealt with that.
No military had a previous SOP for a city that has a parallel, fortified enemy city running underneath. The tunnel problem is new to EVERYONE.
So… what do you do with them?
Again – I have no clue! No one really knows – NO ONE had to deal with such a situation before. IDF is trying to figure this out right now – and every military in the world is watching and taking notes.
The First Immediate and Most Logical Option looks like very heavy things that you drop, try to punch a hole in the ground and wait for them to go “Boom”.
You still have a city to clear. You can’t move troops into the middle of a sector that sits on top of an underground enemy network that’ll surround them. So, when you know that there is a major tunnel hub or a junction in your sector – the ONLY immediate option you have before moving in is to POUND THE ABSOLUTE HELL out of the ground in hopes that you will collapse the reinforced walls in. And even then – it’s a tunnel – it won’t collapse the whole thing. If you’re lucky – you’ll destroy a hub or a junction. Under the circumstances – that’s a win.
But you certainly can’t bomb all of them. They’re very deep – a single penetrator may not even reach. And there are 2 miles of tunnel networks per every square mile of Gaza – you’d have to bomb every single square inch of the city. So, what do you do with your munitions is you pick the most important points that you suspect, and you hit them with everything you’ve got.
What are the most important points you Need to Hit? Three important categories: suspected hubs, suspected junctions, and suspected exit points. So, what do they look like?
- Hubs and Junctions -well… they’re either underneath a building or perhaps under something that looks entirely trivial from the surface. For you (a viewer on the sidelines) – it looks like IDF bombing a park. Or a random house. Or just needlessly blowing up a street. Yeah… I get it… sure looks like a war crime from where you’re sitting.
- Exits – well… they usually exist inside buildings. Buildings that already have weapons and ammo stored inside. Sometimes those buildings are just houses. But also, they are SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, WAREHOUSES. You know – the CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE!!!
And here is the insidious part - the civilians who worked in that building previously, likely had NO IDEA that there was a tunnel exit into their building. You know what a tunnel exit looks like? A random piece of plywood on the floor in the basement - that's what it looks like. If you're a civilian working at a hospital in piece time, you decide to go down the basement for some reason and decide to move that piece of plywood - you'll find a narrow hole in the ground with metal ladder going into the darkness. What does it look like to you? Probably just a sewer.
And that's if you're even allowed to go down the basement. I recall an interview with a western doctor who worked at a Gaza hospital. He recalled that one place he was not allowed to was - you guessed it - the basement. There was always Hamas posted near basement stairs and the staff was warned to stay out.
What Does this Look Like from the Outside?
Again… please slow down and try to visualize what I’m describing.
An IDF unit approaches a school for instance (or a hospital… or something of similar nature) that had no sign of enemy activity and suddenly takes a volley of fire from it.
Under normal circumstances – you’d have a sense that the bad guys are waiting for you. Remember what I described in Part 2 – typically, you’d have eyes on a new sector for days before you enter it. Surveillance does its job and you already know where to expect a firefight going into a new sector.
Not in Gaza - IDF is effectively blind. What Happens Next is the Most Insidious Part of the plan– and it’s the MAIN REASON Israel is losing the PR War.
So, IDF arrives at a school (or a hospital) and the militants open up on them.
Well… what do soldiers do when they’re getting shot at? Yup… you guessed it – they shoot back. They light the place the f—ck up. Eventually, they take the place. Whether or not they drop some bombs on it first – doesn’t matter for this particular example.
Because what happens next is the main victory Hamas achieved in this war. By the time IDF walks in – the surviving militants already bolted back into the hole they care from. It’s easy – just a quick stair climb down. Throw your dead bodies down there too, for better PR effect.
So IDF walks in… turns the place upside-down… and what do they have to show for it? Nothing!!!. All they can show you are a couple of Aks and a picture of a hole in the ground with some stairs going down.
Well, guess what. A couple of AKs and a hole in the ground don’t look that impressive on camera, do they?
You’re a civilian – you’re watching this on TV. And so, understandably, the first question that comes to your mind is: “
That’s it? That’s all they found?!! They shot up an entire school for a couple of AKs?” And then, of course, the Qatari and Iranian propaganda machine spools up and goes full-blast: “
Look everybody!!! You can’t believe the Jews – they lie!!! They didn’t find anything. There was no Hamas. They just planted a couple of guns there. They just wanted to blow up this innocent school for no reason”.
And, btw, the hole in the ground isn’t even a given. That’s a win, actually. You only get that if they ran too fast to demolish it on the way down. But if they had a minute to spare - you don’t even have a hole to show news cameras. All you’ll have is a pile of rubble in a big dent on the floor- like someone detonated a bit of C4 on the ground for no reason (you know - another “Jew lie”, as Al Jazeera would put it).
That, my friends, is Hamas’ strategy. That’s what you’re seeing. That’s why things don’t make sense at first glance. That’s why it looks like IDF is just shooting at buildings and bombing things for no reason. Hamas’ victory in this whole thing is in making sure that YOU can’t see the reason for IDF’s actions.
That’s the entire Hamas’ PR strategy. And many of you are falling for that strategy and buying into insidious propaganda.
So again… if you’re still skeptical of the statement that Hamas is “
hiding behind civilians”. I’m going to ask you to step back and process the enormity of this challenge.
I’m not asking whether Israel should have invaded or not – that’s not the topic of this post. Imagine you had no other option but to invade Gaza and destroy Hamas. And Hamas is in a city UNDER an ENTIRE civilian city.
So… tell me how YOU would do it – I’d love to know. Because I don’t know how.
So… IDF is learning some lessons… what have they learned so far?
Here’s what I’ve been able to gather so far:
- The structures are very complex – they are multi-level. They have living rooms, storage hubs, workshops.
- he structures are very resilient. Not only are they deep and reinforced – they have escape roots to different levels.
- Bombing is partially effective for hubs and junctions – but very limited more broadly. It ultimately, can’t solve the entire problem. It can help you disrupt an ambush from underground – that helps. Maybe stop reinforcement traffic underneath. But you still have to deal with the remaining network.
- Flooding a tunnel works to some extent – but it has limitations. There are technical problems IDF hasn’t been able to resolve yet.
- IDF has found success with tracking tactics – they wait for militants to show and see if they can track them to identify tunnel exits.
- IDF is now developing new tactics – learning how to conduct underground offensive manevers.
- If a tunnel network remains – a sector can not be declared cleared. That means troops have to stay behind much longer. The entire thing is getting much longer than it would’ve been in a more typical invasion.
- Tunnels is a form of psychological warfare. The incidents of friendly fire have gone up. The troops are jumpy and nervous when no direction can be assumed to be safe.
So… there is that. Again, there are legitimate questions of whether or not Israel should have invaded to begin with. That’s a debate for another time and isn’t the topic of this post.
I’ll be back to continue the previous Part 4 later.
If you're interested in the previous parts of the series, you can find them here (thanks to

2024.06.06 22:23 usuario_medioxD Weathering suggestions
| Finishing painting this Bradley and starting weathering soon, my plans were: • Pinwash with AMMO's dark wash • Rust and pigments around the shell impacts • Subtle chipping • Subtle rust effects • Mud with AMMO's heavy earth • Dust with AK's rainmarks for NATO tanks However, I feel that this weathering will leave with a pretty monotonous tank that will not match the reference pictures. You guys have any idea of how to spice the weathering up a bit? submitted by usuario_medioxD to modelmakers [link] [comments] |

I have two MR HOP rubbers, but they are in fact silicone, one 60, the other 50 degrees. And I find it that they really easily overhop .28g bb's, especially in my Ak, the hop is turned all the way down and the bb's are overhopping, I wonder if anybody had the same issue?
The accuracy and consistency is awesome tho, just outside my sight picture :)

2024.06.06 04:55 MpSeifs WTS - A bunch of random parts, hardware, washers, Chaves Pocket clips & Set of Redencion Scales modified & unfinished, Two Modified titanium lighters, one with a torx bit insert with bits, and some other random stuff
Hello everyone today I’m cleaning out my garage of all my knife stuff I no longer want or need. This is a very random post with a bunch of odds and ends pieces mainly from Chaves knives but there’s all kinds of stuff. Check the pictures and if you have any questions please ask. It’s all been used or modified and want to sell it all in one go to avoid excess shipping costs. Will ship priority but please don’t ask if I will sell anything separate. It’s all or nothing. Pretty much everything is titanium including both zippo knockoffs that I blasted a Chaves logo onto. The slim one has a regular insert and the larger one has a torx bit insert with 4 torx bits T6, T8, T10 & T15. A few sets of skiff thick washers and the pivot measuring plate and a strider tool from Amazon. Everything in the pictures is included. Ps if the buyer also wants it I have at least 10 titanium scales that I’ve practiced my finishing on so if you need some scrap titanium let me know and I’ll toss them in for free. FYI they are not useable on any knife only as scrap pieces. Thanks 🙏🏻 SV - $150 if that’s too high shoot me an offer and we can work something out.
