Honestly, I just want to know how many other people would drop an ungodly amount of money for another game (even if it was just a DLC) to see Shepard marry their love interest. In this case, my love interest was Garrus. I want to see them a few years after the fall of the reapers finally getting the peace they deserve.
Eve and Wrex’s children would be the flower girl/ring bearer.
Liara is the maid of honor with Tali, Ashley, and Miranda as bride’s maids.
Joker is the best man, while Wrex, Kaiden, and James are groomsmen.
Grunt, Jack, Jacob and Zaeed would be running security.
Eve would officiate the wedding and marry the two.
Shepard would be preparing to walk down the aisle alone. Shepard has gone through the galaxy fighting reapers, collectors, Cerberus, etc… But never was she this nervous. That’s when Admiral Hackett arrives, greeting her and handing her a data pad that has a voice memo from Captain Anderson. Anderson knew that he may not survive the final battle on Earth, but was confident that Shepard would succeed in their mission. Anderson also knew one day, Shepard might finally settle down, so he made this recording for her. Anderson apologized for not being there for her, but wishes Shepard to have a long and happy life. Anderson talked about how he saw Shepard not only as a solider, but as a daughter that he has always been proud of. He wishes he could be there to walk her down the aisle on her big day, but knows that Shepard has the strength to face anything. Anderson gives his final goodbye and signs off. Hackett being there says to Shepard that Anderson always talked about how proud he was of Shepard, and congratulates Shepard on her wedding. He takes his exit, and Shepard takes a deep breath as she opens the doors to walk down the aisle.
Idk how this turned into a short lil novel, I just wanted to ask how many people would pay good money for a DLC where Shepard marries their love interest 😭

I just had my period. It started on June 1st and ended like few days ago. Now I had last intercourse on 6th (we used condoms ofc tho not sure if we were good at application part). I was on birth control but my doctor said I was taking them wrong as I was taking 21-7 days and she said I should another pack from fifth day (June 5th, which I did) of period since day 1 already passed. She said it's either first or fifth day. I wanted to know if that gives me any protection? It's June 10th today and I was feeling sore breasts and pain from yesterday and saw some white discharge today now even tho it could be signs of ovulation, the hell apparantley all signs that we see on non pregnant people overlap with that of pregnant ones. I did have unprotected intercourse two weeks prior to my periods. I also feel a Lil lightheaded and cramps but not anything major major just here and there I might have felt something. Mostly it's breast pain. What are my chances of being pregnant? My ob told me, any sex before periods can be ruled out. Is that a correct statement? Also does it give me any protection if started from day 5th instead going for my 21-7 say cycle. I usually start on day 8th that is after 7 days. I started a day late this time. Do I have to wait 7 days for it to work and does it put me at any risk? PS: I was taking the pills for 5 months with the 21-7 days method.
Again, I will test as soon as I can. But for two weeks, I can't. I mean I'll know in two weeks ig.
Can y'all give me some reassurance?

Things weren’t going smooth these past few days between me and the guy I WAS talking to. He would take super long to reply but still post on insta. I also have the feeling that u don’t really like me anymore which I understand because of my poor communication.” When I read that I was baffled. I said “listen, that last message is not true. I still like you. But right now it just sounds like u just don’t wanna talk anymore” to which he replies with “it’s not you I promise, you’re a sweet, fun and genuine person that deserves better than me right now “ “I just need to work on myself to become the best version of myself and rich” I say “okay I understand” he says “so again, don’t doubt yourself now, I’m just not ready to talk to someone this way(romantically) or more” “I’d love for us to stay friends but I don’t think it’d be convenient for either of us” GUYS I’m so mad. I felt so played. :((( so I just said “hmm I get it, just one last question.” “What did u mean with the first message where u said u did something without thinking about it and that u understand if u don’t wanna talk anymore?” And boom no reply, left on read. I’m so mad and sad. I’ve never cried about a man but I just couldn’t hold it in this time.

I started with 150 relatively skinny locs. I had to combine some of them and by now ive lost 5 of em. (Been locked in 1 year 7 months). The worst thing is when i lose them i never see where the loc went. It just disappears forever. I literally find out by noticing a tiny patch of loose hair. Im still in denial that 3 of them are even lost locs at this point
I retwist once every 2 months on average. I take care of my hair regularly by misting everyday, oiling once or twice a week. Mind you im M,17 and i be drinking my water and shit.
I still got an abundance of locs left and its 100% unnoticeable, but rn its shaking my self esteem and confidence in my hair and i love it far too much to be going out like Lil Wayne in a few years. Is this a normal thing for people with this many locs? I know about people losing 1-2, but this ish getting scary now. How do you think i can stop them from losing like this?

Always read lots of good posts about the mwz community and how cooperative players tend to be but then that one post about some troll or douche shows up in the feed. Now I finally came across one of these players lol.
The ranked session with the lads comes to end, but I play way into the night when it's the weekend and solo queueing in crimson lobbies is torture if you're not absolutely cracked out of your mind, so I switch to pubs and grind out the obsidian camo for the BAS-B. I try to see which game modes give you crazy amounts of XP and find big modes like ground war and lockdown on warzone offer decent gains and wonder if zombies does the same (1 hour matches while grinding out t2 contracts sounds like crazy amounts of XP on paper at least) and run one. I slap on my Borealis camo and talking waifu battle buddy and load in then straight off into the city. Red zone is saturated as hell so I've got plenty to myself until...
See that living doll skin running around the same area and farming the truck cargo contracts and think buddy is on his own grind and decide I'll leave those to him. I mostly do the safes and bounties back and forth as they spawn, but then see a cargo and outlast near each other. Blue dot on map slowly approaches both and I assume it's the same guy and head towards the outlast. Bro was parachuting in and I was on foot so he gets closer and waits between them for a second. As I make my way towards the outlast he does too and picks it up. Bruh...
Didn't think much of it and go to the cargo as the challenge is weapon XP and will still count. Finish it and switch to a safe contract then notice on the radar a blood burner bike with a blue scheme sitting all by it's lonesome (Not sure if the blue and purple color on radar indicate whether it's a naturally spawned or player spawned) and take it for a spin. Park it outside and do the contract. Didn't realize when it was snatched during the safe and assumed maybe it despawned or something. Storm starts expanding and I check the map and see pretty much whole lobby has left except for one other dude.
Still didn't think much of it and make my way towards the bottom left of the map where I assume the final exfil will land. I periodically check the map for either a vehicle or portal and see the blue dot speed towards a quad. Quad disappears and I assume it likely blew up... Again not thinking much of it at the time,but the blue dot keeps blowing up vehicles around the city. I make my way to the crane and plan to fly over towards the exfil. Hover over the blue dot who's under the highway blowing up an SUV and notice a blood burner near the vicinity. Did he take my blood burner? Now I was a tad bit confused and wondered if maybe there was some weekly challenge to blow up vehicles or something.
Was so distracted on the radar on what bud was up to that I gently landed on the train tracks still quite the distance from final. No big deal still plenty of time and farm some kills along the way. I pull up the map to see where the Storm is at and see blue dot headed towards the top right of the map and wonder if bro thinks it ends there (the storm was in a weird spot where it was a bit difficult to determine whether it was gonna end on top or bottom but having played a decent amount of DMZ I could give quick eyeball test and figure where it ended) I was planning to type in chat but blue dot quickly turns around and heads to the bottom.This is where the suspicion starts to kick in...
He's driving along the tracks and I'm slowly making my way along them too killing whatever zombie I see close or far, then he rams into me and pushes me a slight distance to the left. Likely not on purpose and probably wasn't paying attention... THEN HE COMES BACK DOING A FULL ROTATION AND RAMS ME AGAIN WITH THE SAME RESULTS... A slight push to the side.

He then takes off running opposite of the final exfil and headed towards a buy station.

i apologise in advance cause this is going to be a pretty long post.
so, as the title says, how do i even study? ever since i was like 6–7 years old, my parents put me in "tuitions" where someone would re-teach what was done in school, and that was basically how i studied till my 10th grade. i was being re-taught or taught smtg twice and it sat in my brain.
i have always been someone who is bad at memorising and better at understanding and interpreting the answer in my own terms. i have also observed that i have a pretty good grasping power and i can understand smtg comparatively faster than others, and if smtg is made clear to me, it stays in my head at least a for a while, if not all the way for a few months.
i used to also teach myself stuff, and i observed i learned better that way, but i stopped doing it after my sister walked in on me a couple times and made fun of me for teaching myself or imaginary people as i studied (we were both hardly even 10–12 year olds when this happened).
once i got out of this tuition system or when there were any subjects that i had to study without anyone teaching me or smtg, i'd procrastinate and just not study at all. no one can procrastinate like i do. if there would be any way to count how much i procrastinate, i'd have an unbeatable record in the guiness world records. i am literally typing this with my exam is literally less than 11–12 hours while i still haven't started my studies (i need to sleep a lil in the night as well, so i clearly don't have much time left as well).
in clg, i started studying with my classmate, where we taught each other stuff, but somehow that got restricted to doing that for the internals only. and now, when i need to study for the main exams or when she is unable to join, i end up procrastinating cause idk what to do.
whenever i look at my results, i go, "without having actually studied efficiently, i am able to score above-avg scores, imagine the grades i'd get if i put in actual effort." but then that just remains a thought. sometimes i feel i end up procrastinating and disassociating with reality sm cause of other reasons and not just cause i am lazy sloth.
i have also been told multiple times by my parents and even teachers that if i were to put in just half the effort as others, i'd easily outperform everyone else. my sister got outstanding grades in her 10th boards, topped her clg in 12th boards and got into med-school last year. she said this to my parents abt me - "i wish i were like her (me). i got sm grades cause i worked sm for it. she wouldn't even have to do sm to get more grades than me" or smtg in those lines.
i have heard sm ppl sm stuff abt me like this, but until i joined law clg, my grades in boards have been very very avg and even below avg. in law clg i even failed a paper, but my grades have been a lil above avg and could easily be way better.
the thing is, i get really good grades in my internals. since the syllabus would be recently taught and fresh in my head, i don't have to put much effort in getting thorough with it. but by the time exams arrive, they just evaporate from my head. i have like the worst memory power of all the people one could ever encounter.
i have 3 semester exams left (including the one i am abt to give from tom) and i really want to test my capabilities that ppl have been pointing out for a very very very long time now. i am done questioning what exactly this "capability" it is that ppl have been pointing out. i really want to be able to know it myself, and i want some really good ways in which i can get my passion driven self to be able to study for even the subjects i am least motivated in.
i am someone who does most of the studying while attending the lecture itself, so youtube videos come really handy for me to study. but sometimes i am unable to find videos for certain subjects, and especially if it is a subject i am least interested in, i don't even bother trying to teach it to myself.
i really, really want to get the best out of my potential and want to achieve academically. any help regarding how i can do better, how i can motivate myself to sit to study in the first place, how to study, or anything at all would be highly appreciated.

Well. I’ve been wanting to take a swing at the Liars’ fathers for a while, so this is finally the time I do it.
Let’s start off with an easy one: Wayne Fields. Mr Fields did pretty much nothing wrong at all. As a matter of fact, the only thing that even comes to mind is in the first season where Emily comes out as gay. He says to Pam that maybe it could be a phase, and that is literally it. The shortest list on here. And even though he did say that, he was still so supportive about it and just wanted Emily to be happy.
This is where the lists get longer. I’ll go in order of who is more horrid at parenting. Byron Montgomery was half good at being a parent, if you can ignore the infidelity with a student and then asking his teenage daughter to keep it a secret for over a year. So I guess what I’m saying is no, he wasn’t so good. I mean it’s bad enough he cheated on Ella when they’d been together for like 2 decades, but then for him to ask Aria not to tell her was such an awful decision. Not very fatherly, Byron. Although, after a few seasons he became much more bearable and actually cared about his family. I’ll also add that he was the only one who had the right reaction to the Ez*a incident, the man should definitely have gotten a punch in before Mike did. He knew that shit was wrong and tried everything to stop it, and even though he himself dated one of his students (Come on, Byron) at the very LEAST she wasn’t a minor. Although I guess eventually he came around to the relationship… Gross. Aside from that, Byron got better as a parent so he redeemed himself a little bit. I guess.
Moving swiftly on to a personal enemy of mine, Tom Marin. I hate this guy, I really do. First off, we have yet another cheater. It’s almost laughable how all of these parents have affairs. And then he had the audacity to leave Ashley AND Hanna, move in with his mistress and her daughter, and only came back to tell her he was getting married. How mean could you be? And don’t even get me started on Boil’n’Baggies Kate, he paid for her college tuition and didn’t even ask his actual daughter if she had any plans for college? He fills me with so much rage, probably because he’s such a realistic portrayal of a deadbeat. Also, I don’t know if anyone else caught this, but remember when Hanna had to sabotage his wedding, and he told her and Ashley he was moving his new family to Rosewood, meaning Kate was joining Rosewood High? Ashley said something that made me hate him more. Hanna asked why he was doing this to her, and she said something along the lines of “because he loves you and wants to be near you…right?” as if looking for Tom to confirm that. AND HE SAID NOTHING!!! I just know that slimy toad only moved back to get back at her. Anyway, enough about him, onto the next ‘goober.’
Kenneth DiLaurentis. I hardly have words for this one. But here’s a huge paragraph. Let’s paint a scenario. You have two little boys and have just recently welcomed a daughter into the world. You, and your wife, have left the baby in the house alone (?) and one of your boys hears her crying. Because he’s a child and doesn’t know any better, he thinks he can help her by giving her a bath. So that’s what he does. Again, because he’s a child, he doesn’t understand how to properly bathe another child. While you’re outside, you hear the baby screaming, and you run upstairs to see your baby drowning in water. Do you: A. rescue your baby and reprimand your child for this so they know not to make the mistake again, or B. realise that you actually left your baby alone in the house and that it was an accident, and this may actually be your fault for not being with your month old baby? If you picked secret option C, scream at your child and send him to a sanitarium, never visiting him once or even acknowledging his existence to you or your family, then congratulations! You are Kenneth DiLaurentis, worst father of the year! It blows my mind that they never killed his character off. He deserved it and no one would feel sorry about it. Also, he DESPISED Jason all because he knew he wasn’t his son, but I’m failing to see how that’s Jason’s fault? I’m 110% sure children can’t choose if their mothers have an affair with the next door neighbour, so how is resenting Jason fair at all? Blows my mind, truly. I would also like to point out that he hated that Charlotte transitioned into a girl, and hated her wearing dresses and playing with dolls, so that was probably a huge factor into sending her away to Radley. And finally, it’s the man, the myth, the legend, Peter Hastings! Let’s review. He had an affair with his neighbour Jessica, getting her pregnant, and he tells absolutely no one. He keeps it a secret until his daughter figures it out, and expects to be forgiven. He hates the DiLaurentis family because of this, when it was literally his fault for being a cheating scumbag, and refuses to ever speak to Jason even though it’s literally his son. Then, we find out he has done this twice! with Mary Drake (although he thinks it’s Jessica), then gets her pregnant, and she has twins. Peter and Veronica agree to take one of the children– no adoption involved, they just take one– and raise her as their own, never telling her the truth. They raise her to always be in competition with her sister (Half sister? Cousin? I don’t even know) and then only treat her well if she wins something or gets good grades. They find out she has a drug problem, don’t give her help, and judge her for it. Then, Peter thinks she’s murdered her best friend so he hires a detective to find out. News flash, it isn’t her, it’s actually Melissa who killed somebody, and what does Peter do? Covers it up, makes her promise to never admit it. Not to mention he’s possibly the world’s worst lawyer; destroying evidence, covering up murders, changing former wills? Such a great example to set your many, many children. To put it simply, Peter Hastings was responsible for probably an entire grade of children. He was an awful father, an awful husband and an awful lawyer.

So they start working together and over time as a guy myself I am able to see when I think a guy is into my girl or doing things that catch my eye, for example he gets her phone number and starts light texting her, comes in on his day off with his dogs (shes the only one working) and they chat for a bit, starts talking about his life and past relationship. etc etc So I tell my girlfriend at the time “hey look I think this guys into you, I know you have to work with him so just keep that in mind” she would say things like “not everyones into me” “hes just friendly” and stuff like that So then I noticed she starts texting him back and she starts telling me how he skateboarded with lil peeps friend (she loves lil peep) and like I said he skateboards, and draws, and is a spiritual type of guy, and this is basically the vibe of my girlfriend.(not really me at all) So with that being said I start worrying because I told her this guy likes her and now they see each other everyday and shes engaging in text conversation with him. So for her work she doesnt work with him during a shift but she will work from 9-3 then he comes in at 3-close. So thats when I check her location at 3 and always see her still there until atleast 3:30 sometimes until 4 and I get immense anxiety just knowing theyre jusr chattin it up. So fast forward a week I talk to her about this tell her how its bothering me, she reassures me and all is good, but then she hangs out with her friend, they wore dresses and she ends up going on her day off to the workplace where just he is working. She said she just went to use the bathroom but ended up staying for up to an hour. Thats where I was losing it I was going crazy and anxiety filled inside of me. Later that night I pick her up and tell her everything Im feeling and crying to her (at this point we have been dating for a year and a half) She says she only wants me and we will be together forever etc. So basically Im just being manipulated and gaslit Because after about another week me and her are going to a concert. She has to switch with Jeff to be able to go so during her shift she asks and tells him about the concert and small talk stuff. So I ask if she mentioned she was going with me. Of course not to my surprise she said no and didnt mention me and it would be weird. She also followed him and he followed her and said he wont unfollow him because hes a good kid and they work together. She also has PCOS and apparently Jeffs ex had PCOS so he started sending her guides for PCOS via Instagram DMs and she would say he does things she wishes I did and that one stung.. Also a quick backstory me and her met at our other job and she had a boyfriend at the time! she ended up breaking up with him and we got together she would tell me how she would sneak to the bathroom to snap me back, she would say how she would try not to mention her boyfriend at the time to me essentially hiding him because the only reason I found out is beause our other coworker we were with asked about him. So with that being said guess what happens next, we are hanging out one night and I just have anxiety for days over all this stuff, she goes to the bathroom like 3-4 times in the past hour or two, so when she comes back I ask can i see your phone? she like gives me an evil smile and I look and to my surprise 5m ago Jeff so they were texting. This set me off and I cried due to the betrayal I felt and I knew I was right. This is getting long and I missed a lot still but her side to why she did this was because I wasnt a good boyfriend and granted I had my mistakes. I liked girls posts right in front of her and genuninely didnt have any meaning behind it I just like every post on my instagram feed. Also I had nudes far down in my camera roll but I never even knew they were there I never go in my camera roll and just go through it but I definitely see how these things can upset her. Also her dad is her main person she didnt grow up with a mom and her dad has been overdosing since 2019 so her mental health is extremely bad so she will constantly blame stuff on her mental health. So i would bring up this stuff with Jeff that happened a lot because it hurt me throughout the remainder of our relationship, she would say stuff like that was a year ago you need to get over it. And she told me how she was indeed wondering he would be a better boyfriend at the time so in the end I was right she manipulated and gaslit me and made me develop trust issues but I was right So now we break up and guess what? She follows him, she fckin follows him and now Im like wtf. So I confront her and she says she has been freaking out lately and my snap score has been going up fast and it never does (when I just started snapping friends and doing streaks) so she followed him. Sometimes i might respond to a story with a friendly thing like “love yr artwork” or “great photo” nothing much to really look into, and when some message me saying “thx for the follow, cool profile” i pretty much do the same, conversation doesnt usually continue from there, i assume cause, well…we are strangers, its just politeness, though as i dont have many friends amd defo would love to chat more with people on insta i have stuff in common with, i completely understand the awkwardness and fear of it, and with this situation we have perhaps that example from his guys straight up ness, so.. we are both gay men, and i follow a bunch of travel and art profiles/ pages on instaggram cause its what im into, thats what public profiles on the platform are for, right?, and so this one account i started following ,the guy followed me back and messaged me the following,

It had been yet another day on Lantica beach for the Crimson Paragons, not too long after the hard fought victory in the unexpected alien invasion. But something just kept nagging at Talios... A strange emotion that just wouldn't leave. A... Yearning. For something. For... Someone. Someone had been at the back of his mind ever since he had returned from that trip. When that Lamia had hugged him, tail and all, Talios felt strange. He felt something he had never felt before. A new emotion... And unbeknownst to him, this emotion would spark something even he'd think unfathomable. All it'd take... Is one, relatively innocent question. When everyone was chowing down on some delicious food Nhak had made at the beach party, and Kyouko, one of Max's comrades had showed up. A Jorõgumo. A yokai with a ravenous appetite, essentially.
Kyouko showed up, by... Crawling down a banana tree. There were no longer any bananas in that tree. Not even peels...
"A large fish skewer? Sounds nice."
Talios gives a simple response, not entirely paying attention. Something else is bugging him.
"Hi Kyouko."
Nhak, on the other hand, gives her a proper response.
"Yes Kyouko, a whole fish, just for you! Made with love! Aoi Helped!”
But just then... Talios gets a brilliant idea. And... He can finally try and get her out of his head.
"Say... Kyouko. Do you... Know where Nagisa is?"
Nagisa. Another of Max's crew, practically a daughter to him. A rather bubbly Lamia, though her words can pack quite the venom when she's teasing someone. Talios, unfortunately. Is not aware of this yet.
"Nagisa should be in the lodge still. Rachnia is helping her fix her swimsuit."
Damn it. He was hoping for her to be alone, so they could speak in private. Looks like I'll have to abort, Talios thinks to himself...
But he's practically wearing his heart on his sleeve. Everybody can tell what's happening, he's a... Terrible liar.

Talios gives another simple response, hoping for the topic to just be dropped. But everybody else can tell how... Unusual, he's acting after mentioning Nagisa's name.

Ember. A small dragon, ethereal in nature... Most of the time. In this instance, it appears she's in fact, solid. It's a part of Ejders soul network going on in his body. Talios had completely forgotten Ember was on his shoulder...

Talios... Is a really bad liar. It is quickly becoming apparent just how bad he is.

Talios takes off his helmet. His pokerface does, in fact blow. He looks... Ever so slightly flustered, even. In expression, more than anything. He can't blush, since he has no blood.

This time it's Safi, a dragon of the stars. Although, currently, they're in a human form.
Talios: "I could kick all of your asses at poker."
Ejder: "Remove the last two words, and I could believe it."
Sarah: "Did that Lamia hug from yesterday awaken somethin in ya? Awww."
Talios: "The tight and scaly Lamia hug awoke absolutely nothing in me."
Safi: "I've never heard a more blatant lie than that."
Talios: "Yes you have. Because it isn't a lie."
Sarah: "Talios. I have to deal with Max tryin to bluff his way through shit. Your pokerface ain't cuttin it."

Suddenly, Nhak appears to phase behind Talios. He places a ghostly hand on his shoulder.

And Nhak lets out a laugh, Talios feeling more defeated by the second.

"Talios do I reaaaaaally have to use my strings to make ya tell the truth?"
This voice came from Rachnia, Max's Fiancé. She came out of the water, having been taking a walk...
Talios jumps at Rachnia's presence.
"WHERE IN THE BLAZING blue hells did you come from."
His voice changes from loud to quiet on a dime, oddly enough. And it was at this moment...
That a devilish look came across Ember's face.
"Hey, Talios, since you wanted to make sure everyone's accounted for, why don't you go check in on the Tail-Meatbag personally?"
"...I- Well... You see..."
Talios falls silent, having been defeated at his own game by Ember. Finally though, Kyouko asks the question that had been plaguing Talios since Rachnia's arrival.
"weren't you helping Nagisa with her swimsuit, Rachnia?"
"got that done earlier. She's helping Cerne tie her swimsuit now."
Perfect! Talios had his out, with Rachnia confirming that they can account for Nagisa.
"Ah. See, she's with Cerne! Rachnia can account for it. No need to go looking. No reason... At all..."
And Talios thought he was safe... Until the sight of Cerne casually strolling along the beach enters his view.
Talios: "...Wait why are you here Cerne?"
Rachnia: "Hey, Cerne, I thought Nagisa was with you!"
"Guess she might be in the lodge with Lala or Eliza."
Ember: "C'mon, Boss Man! Everyone has given a different response as to where Snake is! You gotta figure out which one is true!"
Talios: "...Surely Cerne is right."
She was not, as Lala happens to walk out of the water with perfect timing. One by one, each of Max's companions says another is with Nagisa... And every time, the companion mentioned shows up... Until there are no more companions to show up.
Meaning, Nagisa is in fact. Unaccounted for. Talios lets out a defeated sigh, picking Ember off of his shoulder and placing her down.
"I... Will go make sure Nagisa is accounted for..."
Feeling utterly defeated, Talios trudges to the lodges in search of Nagisa. Seph, a multiversal god, and known as the Paragon of Freedom... Only has a few words to say.
”Godspeed, funny chaos man.”
Eventually, Talios reaches the fifth lodge. Each one before, held no answer. He expected nothing different from this one. Three firm knocks on the door...
"Yeees? Who is it?"
Ah shit. So Nagisa was here... Talios was kind of hoping she wasn't so he wouldn't have to go through this.
"Damn..."
"AHEM. Uh. I was told to make sure everybody was accounted for. So... Yeah. You weren't at the beach, so I came to check the lodges."
A few moments of awkward silence.
"WELL! Since you're here, I can return to the group and inform them of you being accounted for."
Talios immediately turns and starts walking away, satisfied with his totally foolproof lie.
It was... Absolutely terrible. Obviously.
But before he could leave. A behemoth of a man stands in his way. Gonkgar. He himself is walking to the lodges.
"Where Nagisa?"
"Talios... you're not just here to check on me, are you? You lie terribly."
Nagisa's voice is... Frankly, beautiful to Talios's ears. But damn it... Why did Gonkgar have to intercept him...
"I don't even need to see your face to know. Come on in, the door's unlocked."
Gonkgar pushes Talios toward the door and turns around.
"...Shit."
"Alright fine..."
Talios pops open the door a crack, peeking in. He hits his helmet on the door frame.
"hey, no need to be shy!"
"...I am never shy. A bounty hunter is not shy."
He has not moved from his peeking position in the door. Nagisa giggles in response to Talios's very, very poor lies.
"Actions speak louder than words ever could. Now head inside before I have to pull you inside myself."
"I- ...Okay. Fine."
Talios, begrudgingly, enters the lodge. He's... Fidgeting. He has his hands hidden behind his back, but it's obvious just from the movement of his arms in general.
Not even Talios is sure what he's feeling... Or how.
Gonkgar stands nearby Nagisa’s lodge with his arms crossed, defending his bro’s chance at makin’ a move.
"Oooh you don't even have to tell me. someone's in loooove?"
"Did Max send you to me for advice?"
Talios seems... Genuinely startled by Nagisa's question.

Gonkgar knows what Talios wants, even if Talios doesn’t. It seems Nagisa does too.
Gonkgar begins to think about all the times he and Talios hung out together, his true bro. All the times they fought for fun, and destroyed wizard tarrasques together. He thinks of the time Gonkgar wanted to ask that one girl out to the prom, and Talios totally encouraged him to press his luck. When Gonkgar’s mom was sick in the hospital, Talios made sure to take care of his dogs. If Gonkgar can be here for his bro now, that is precisely what he’ll do.
90% of that might not have ever happened in the real world, but Gonkgar likes to think it did… Somewhere.
Safi: "Do you feel that parental instinct because Talios went to see Nagisa?"
Max: "He did?!"
Safi: "It was pretty obvious he had a crush on her."
Max: "Wait he has a crush on her?!"
Nhak: "Well, someone brought up Nagisa... And he went melon."
Rachnia pulls a quick purple string and hooks it onto Max. Just one command is spoken. "Give him a chance."
He holsters his pistol.
"Fine."
Back in Nagisa's lodge... Talios is stiller than a statue as the Lamia's tail grows closer to his leg. He feels a chill down his non-existant spine... It's probably just a draft... But wait. He doesn't feel cold, generally. Or any temperature. How strange...
"Well... Isn't there like... A process..."
Talios is getting more and more flustered by the minute, something not even HE thought was possible! He's been getting an awful lot of new emotions lately...
"Well there's nothing wrong with a big hug, is there? I'm not easily impressed, so you'll have to do your best."
Talios seems to... Loosen up, slightly?
"Oh. Yes. Hug. Of course. Uh... Sure..."
she taps Talios' nose with the tip of her tail.
"I'll be waiting for a black knight on a noble steed. Impress me."
Aha. Talios understands perfectly now... Is what he thought. But he doesn't. He's so, unbelievably dense... And perhaps, takes thing a little too literally.
”He cooked.”
Gonkgar says to the rat. How foolish he was... Talios was fumbling hard.
"I guess... That's my cue to leave... Ha."
Talios is getting ready to leave... But why?
"Are you sure running away now is very knightly? Wouldn't want to run with your tail between your legs when it matters most."
she's just brushing her hair again, her eyes closed, back turned to Talios.
”Man, she not make it easy for bro. It like bro just discover pools exist, and get thrown in deep end right away.”
Gonkgar says to the rat.
Talios freezes. The sharp words of Nagisa shock him to his very core... Because he thought she wanted a horse.
"But. I was going to go get a horse... You said I needed a noble steed... And all..."
Max is looking at the lodges, arms on his hips.
He sees Gonkgar standing guard. Gonkgar gives a slow nod.
“Let he cook.” He mouths at Max.
Max: "I have to give THIS a chance?"
He's tapped into the security footage.
"He can't even pick up on the noble steed hint! How can you fumble THIS hard?!"
She chuckles.
"I don't need an actual horse. We already have Cerne."
Ah. Now Talios gets it. At least, he thinks he does.
"Oooh! ...Why would I need to get Cerne? Can she help with this?"
"I gotta say, at least you're funny... You know what? I'll give you a few dates. See where it leads... If you can convince Max."
Gonkgar silently launches 30 feet in the air and fist bumps before landing in front of the door again.
"A black knight against a white knight, just like the fairytales. If nothing else, it'll be a fairytale made true."
Gonkgar is silent screaming in front of the door.
”Let GOOOOOOOO!”
Max: "Alright then, hon. If that's the criteria ya want, I'll oblige."
He starts loading his revolver with explosive rounds.
Talios, on the other hand, seems to immediately lighten up. He seems... Happy?
"Really? Wow. Uh... Thank you, Nagisa. I promise to not disappoint. And uh... Maybe... Grow less dense. I guess. Ha."
"Don't count your chickens before they hatch. I have a feeling that you're going to have a much tougher time convincing Max, than convincing me."
Talios's entire mood shifts on a dime. Grim.
"Ah. Yes. Maximillian... Oh dear."
Talios walks out of the lodge, immediately greeted by Gonkgar's back.
"...I won, Gonkgar. I won."
Gonkgar turns around and immediately gives him a giant bear hug. It is pretty tight, but Talios can take it.
"TALIOS WIN."
"Thank you, Gonkgar... For stopping me from leaving that door."
”Gonkgar know what it like. Me have experience with ladies.” He fist bumps Talios’s shoulder. “Okay, you hide now?”
"...Hide? I know Maximillian needs convincing, but... It can't be that bad. Right?"
Talios walks past Gonkgar to the rest of the group once more, unaware of his possibly impending doom.
"He have weapon out. Take Gonkgar second favorite weapon, it maybe help."
Gonkgar holds out a strange... Fish... Spear? To Talios.
"I'll be fine. Although I appreciate the thought, Gonkgar."
And Talios continues walking back to the beach party. And he arrives with a pep in his step never seen before...
"Hello, everybody. Nagisa is perfectly accounted for."
Talios gives a big thumbs up as he delivers the message.
Max: "Yeah. We know. Sooooo. dating sweet little Nagisa, huh."
He's seated, ominously tapping the blue and silver alchemy revolver on his leg.
"Uh... I'm not sure if it's... Considered offically dating. Yet. Just uh... Testing the waters, one may say...You know, I'll admit I'm pretty dense but uh. You seem a tad angry, Maximillian."
"I'm not mad... Just protective."
"Uh... Yeaaah..."
Ahem.
"I think I'll go talk with... Nagisa a bit more. Let you... Cool off."
This. Was a very... VERY poor choice of words.
Maximillian shoots the floor behind Talios, where he would have stepped if he were to walk to the lodges. Talios turns stone cold and still as a statue.
Talios: "Got it."
Max: "We're havin a chat. Ain't nice to walk out during that."
Max: "I'll be honest with ya, Talios. Had it not been you, I'd have put you in the dirt already. Nagisa gave ya a chance, and said if you can beat me, she'll give you a few dates.... so..."
He slowly walks up to Talios.
"When's the duel, friend?"
"Ha... Saturday. High noon. And let it be known..."
"I won't lose, Maximillian Ironstout. That is a promise."
"...Just like I promised Nagisa I'll impress her on those dates."
Now he's trying to egg Max on.
"Ironstout, huh. Didn't even know you knew that raggedy old name of mine. Alright then. We'll see if you're worthy enough to be a son in law, shall we, Chaos Spawn?"
He laughs, no longer being able to keep up the charade.
"Man I suck at intimidation. Hope ya don't mind the hard time, Talios."
"Meh. If it was anyone else, it could've worked. But you've seen how I am, ha! Thinking I could take on Seph."
So he IS self conscious somewhat.
"The hard time only makes things more fun."
And so, it had been decided. Talios now has to fight... For love? Something Talios thought impossible. Strange how things work out like that.
And unbeknownst to all... Chaos is deeply amused by this turn of events.
