Bumblebee wild caught sockeye salmon in a 14.75 ounce can was on sale in my grocery store for just over a buck. It had the MSC badge on it. How could I pass it up? I bought a couple cans.

The amount of fish to liquid was quite good. It came with some bones, but not a lot. But how did it taste?
OK straight from the can, but this is definitely for cooking. I'll give them credit though for maintaining a fairly pure salmon flavor through the canning process, much better than most mass market canned tuna. Not what you'd get from fresh cooked salmon or well smoked salmon by a long shot, though. But respectable and lacking strong off flavors. A nice change of pace from other canned fish.
I experimented by trying to sub salmon one for one into a crabcake recipe, with a minimum of filler and egg, coated lightly in breadcrumbs, and fried.
The verdict? OK, but not great. Crab holds its shape better and I think canned salmon would benefit from more interesting-flavored filler, rather than less. Bumblebee has a number of recipes on their website which look awfully dubious to me, like salmon kale pesto pasta. But this one looks like it could be a winner.

I think this would also be good in a salmon salad replacing tuna. It also has potential as a topping for pasta added at the last second, but probably not cooked in a sauce.
For a buck-ish it's definitely a good thing to have in a cupboard. MSC approved, decent flavor, quick to prepare, and some good nutritional value, it's worth thinking about.

My 4 year old was asking if they made merch his size. When we checked, the new drop was butthole themed and I don’t think he can wear it to preschool, and nothing his size. If the guys see this let me know if you ever plan on a drop for the children

Hi. Every time I go out to smoke on my balcony (3rd/top floor apt) I get hassled by an angry bumble bee(s). He just flies near me angrily buzzing and dive bombs near me. He has not stung me, but it’s super annoying. I know there’s probably a nest out there, but i actually like bees. Can we co exist? I don’t want to kill them or destroy their home, but I want to be able to go outside without worrying about being stung. Advice plz

Hoping this is the right flair. Came here to rant/vent silliness that baby robes seem useless and not practical whatsoever, yet I was gifted 2 or 3 of them when she was born, one of them from my mother, who had kids! Like when am I ever going to put my kid in these? We transfer from her baby hooded towel (soft and fuzzy bumble bee/elephant ones from Amazon or Burt's bees hooded towel) to PJs before bed.
Have any of you found an occasion to put your baby (or even toddler) in a robe? They're so cute (especially the ones with animal ears on the hood) but I'm a no frills kind of gal and if it's not practical I'm not going to use it. Not even for a picture unless I'm guilted into it. I'm tempted to give them away but I don't want a new parent or well intentioned gift giver thinking they might be useful when to me they're not... But then again, maybe I'm making assumptions and some might use them. Please, those of you who have used them - enlighten me!!
(Adding also that microfiber towels suck! I'm hanging into the hand me down ones I got for our next kid in case our other towels combust, but they've either only been used once or not at all.)

Several days ago, back when it was happening I saw "Eurovision" trending on Twitter and as an American I don't care too much about it, but I'm a curious person so I click on it and it was mostly people talking about the disqualification of the Netherlands representative Joost Klein. He was disqualified because he behaved inappropriately to an EBU employee who was filming him without his consent. Filming someone without their consent is illegal in Sweden and there was an agreement within the EBU not to film him when he comes off stage. He asked several times for the person to stop and they still didn't so...In any case I'm on his side regardless of if he just made a gesture at them or if he knocked the camera from their hands. There's no conclusive answer.
I listened to his song Europapa once and immediately fell in love with his music. I honestly have never fixated on something SO hard. I have such a soft spot for older Europop on the whole. You know, stuff like Caramelldansen, Dragostea Din Tei, Lucky, Bumble Bee. They're seen as memey songs, especially Caramelldansen and Dragostea Din Tei, but I love unironically love that stuff. Europop is seen as a joke by Americans as evidenced by how Planet of the Bass became a big meme, essentially mocking Europeans that speak English as second language. (Not to mention Kyle Gordon got TikTok famous by mocking Autistic children under the guise of "That Annoying Kid"). Europapa itself is very 90s europop, which is why I love it.
Last FM only counts full plays and doesn't count when I start the song over from the start, so it says I've only listened to it 40 times in the past four days. Not a lot for some people, but that's a lot for me and it's not counting many of my plays. Overall I've listened to to his music almost 200 times in the past four days. That's more than every other artist I normally listen to in the past month and is close to the amount of plays other artists have for me in the past 90 days.
It's taking over my brain in a way I've never experienced. I've started doing some very rudimentary Dutch study so I can understand his music better. Something I've never done before nor have I ever had to inclination to do so for other Non-English music I listen to. It helps that Dutch is one of if not the easiest language for English speakers to learn since it's the closest language to English.
I also think it's appropriate to mention Joost himself is mentally ill, mentioning it throughout his music (depression, borderline personality disorder, PTSD). He also is likely some form of neurodivergent there's a couple of interviews with him at Eurovision where the interviewer (For whatever reason...) asks about his earbuds he is wearing and he says it's due to all the loud noise at the event, he wears them to mute the noise. So, he's cool, talented and relatable!

Speculation: First part DFV knows they (Shorts) have messed around again and have been doing it dirty. The gig is up again, time to close and pay up. The second part is a funny scene from arrested development where Buster, a character who just cannot fit in properly goes AWAL to try and show he has a nasty side, it just comes across as way too far. DFV just poking fun at bears here no doubt.

Speculation: I haven't seen the Town but from reading online this scene showed the amazing friendship between Doug and James when James simply replies, who's car are we going to take? in response to what sounds like a risky ask for help from Doug. Then with Mad Max: Fury Road we have a film about a post apocalyptic survivor in Max Rockatansky who eventually brings down a warlords Citadel (hmmm).

Speculation: The whistling is synonymous with Omar and is to the tune of a nursery rhyme, "the farmer in the dell", anyone that watched The Wire would know instantly that this means Omar is coming and this means you best get out the way as he is coming with his double-barreled shotgun and he certainly won't hesitate to use it. The Kingsmen scene where they are locked in the pub is a particularly violent scene and it's an interesting film to reference, the plot *Film spoiler here* is essentially about a boy named Eggsy from a lower-class neighbourhood who's father dies and he finds out that his father was part of an elite inner circle of upper class. After trying to be part of this group, Eggsy discovers their secret plot to take over the world and takes it into his own hands to save the day. u/ ThePhenomNoku talks about the last 2 referenced films; "So the anime is demon slayer. It’s about a kid who has everything taken from him and trains to learn how to fight demons. Though as a sidenote he kind of carries one around with him. It’s complicated.The other movie with the guy holding the person, & the fight scene is the original Oldboy, and without giving too much of the plot away it’s about a dude who is falsely imprisoned for a couple of years or so, and then enacts his revenge."

Speculation: In Oceans 11 there was a lot of planning and variables that had to happen for everything to work. It was a high risk high reward plan with a lot set up to go against but it's possible. The target has always been "just up", DFV just reiterating what he said in the first place.

Speculation: Of course with the loophole stuff it could be about all of the DD that has been done on what has gone on over the years but it could equally be about SHFs finding loopholes to get out of the mess they are in with the stock. The second part the judges clearly don't feel the attempt of the cheerleading or gymnastics piece they are portraying is any good but they are giving it a go and it's suppose to a comedy. Note the school is the cougars, cat links again of course.

Speculation: Batman was of course a good hero who would rid the streets of criminals, they would scare just at the sight of the batman signal being fired knowing that they were about to get wrecked. In this clip, two years has been replaced with three years in the monologue and the kitty signal is of course a nice touch.

Speculation: I think it's best just to give the description of what happens in this scene taken from the fandom page. Elliot chooses to sit down with the friend in the dungeon. He lights a match and reads the note "Don't leave me here." Elliot chooses to stay. The alarm shuts off. An explosion happens nearby. Robot opens the door to find a fire raging outside. He concludes it's too late. Both of them sit down. They each say "I love you." Explosions rage around the room. "It's an exciting time in the world," Elliot says. Fade to red. Take from that what you will.

Description: This scene is taken from the movie Scream (2022), a direct sequel to Scream 4. A lot of the text has been changed but to summarize, one person states "he is making a requel" then there is some talk about the squeeze movie that came out last year and how most people in the actual know hated it and how "squeeze mid" pissed on their "covidhood", how the main character is a mary sue? Then a few cuts of Scream and how real squeeze movies have meta slasher whodunnits and that to some people the original is their favorite thing in the world
Speculation: A requel is A movie which revisits the subject matter of an earlier film but is not a remake or a linear continuation of its plot (i.e. a sequel or prequel). So essentially what is happening right now with the stock is not exactly the same of what has happened before but it is essentially a revisit of the same subject regarding squeezes. A mid squeeze implies that it wasn't as high as the squeeze could have gone and the theme of slashers and murdered people really suggests heads will roll (SHFs hopefully).

There is some cat flashes and images going on and the Woman in this is tagged as a bear (that is someone who is down on a stock or market, usually would short). Candyman talks about how there is no need for the bear to leave yet and that he was obliged to come then he says "be my victim" and a bumble bee comes out of the word be.
Speculation: Time is running out for the bear, they can hang around for a while longer but they will be the victim. This is more of the DFV is coming for you as he dresses himself up as a rampaging murderer targeting the bear in this case. Not sure on the bee, whether that is DFV just having some fun or if it's that a sting is coming in some sense.

Carson continues that Anton could have 14 grand out of an ATM and just walk away before finally stating "do you have any idea how crazy you are?". Anton replies, "you mean the nature of these memes?" to which Carson says "I mean the nature of you!" The scene ends with the phone ringing.
Speculation: DFV putting himself into the mode of Anton from No Country for Old Men is quite the statement. For those who haven't seen this movie, Anton is a wrecking ball of a killer and adheres by his rulebook to seek out different people through the movie to take out. Carson being the desperate short seller here who is not understanding why DFV isn't just playing by the usual financial rules and taking his gains and going. The phone ringing at end could be an implication of margin calls ringing for the desperate short seller.

Description: This is taken from Braveheart and the prisoner (William Wallace) is asked to say a word in a famous scene where WW shouts "FREEEEDOM" only in this clip its "GAMESTOOOOOOOP".
Speculation: This is the first direct reference to Gamestop word for word and it should be noted that this is the scene where William Wallace is about to be executed. Could mean that DFV is willing to risk it all for Gamestop like William Wallace martyring himself for the freedom of Scotland.

I had two things I need help with regarding faerie dragons. The first is simple enough, I noticed you don't have stat blocks for them yet and I'm preparing an enchanted forest for my players. Could I please have some stat blocks for them?
The second thing is more complex. I'm planning to run an insect-themed game where my players play as 6-inch-tall humanoid bugs (bee people, ant people, centipede people, etc) and I'm going to use all your excellent giant beast monsters as a starting point.
But I want to include a faerie dragon encounter at this level, and this is where you come in. I don't know how to make a Tiny, CR1-2 monster into a Huge CR17 BBEG. The easiest way would probably be to adapt one of your existing monster stat blocks to this end. What do you think?

I have been going as Bee for almost 20 years now & want to legally change it so I don't get the cringe every time I have to use my legal name. I've decided I might as well go ahead and change other parts of my name that don't vibe with me while I'm at it.
First name: Was given a very "pretty" first name at birth by my grandma whose birthday I was born on. It was a popular 80s feminine name, starting with B. Grandma often called me B Lynn as a child. When trying to find a name I liked in my 20s, a friend suggested Bee & I love it.
Middle name: As indicated above, my given middle name is Lynn. I don't mind it; it means 'lake' or 'pool below a waterfall' from Welsh (I'm part Welsh), and I think it pairs well with Bee, but I'm considering changing it to the original Welsh spelling, which is Llyn. In Welsh, this would be pronounced with a forced air sound on the ll, almost sounding like a th sound, but I would just continue pronouncing it like Lynn.
Surname: This is the one I am really struggling with atm. I have a patronymic surname (masc name + son), and I would like to find something to fit the nature theme of the rest of my name. I am also part Irish, so leaning towards an Irish Gaelic nature word as a surname. Kinda considering Móinéar, which means 'meadow', but I think I would prefer not to use a word with accents over the letters. Also, I'm more drawn to forests and wilderness than grasslands and cultivated spaces. Am leaning more toward Fiadh (pronounced FEE-ah) which means 'wild/wilderness' but also has references to 'deer'🦌 and 'respect'.
So, how does Bee Llyn Fiadh sound/look?
Open to suggestions for the middle (& perhaps a second middle name) & last names, but the Bee stays :)
