Situation: Feb 24: Submitted 500 application for 1 semester extension as I failed a unit. Got a bridging A
Mar 24: current 500 expires, BVA kicks in Apr 24: Health checked
May 24: Completed study and applied for 485 (using the apr healthcheck)

Car roads are swept with the big cleaning golf cart. But pedestrian areas are not swept for many months. Glass bottles thrown by the people just stay there as shards. This punctures the tyres of bicycles and mobility scooters and everything else with pneumatic wheels.
Is there something that could improve the situation?
Currently a puncture happens every 20 km traveled or so. At this point getting a car and paying for petrol could be cheaper than trying to fix or replace the innertubes if need to travel daily. Car wheels are thicker and i guess they arent punctured by the glass bottle's shards. And car roads are swept more often. Even if the car is >10 times heaver than what is actually needed.

Hello friends - I am a 27 year old male / South Asian (for genetic context). I have been gymming on and off but was never able to do it consistently due to back pain. Since the start of this year my back pain has been manageable so I started working out again and its been a month so far. My starting weight was 78kg, my height is 183cm/6’0.5 and my fat percentage at the start was 18.1%. In the past month I have been strength training 4/7 days a week and kept my protein at above 2g/kg of body weight and been in a deficit of 500 calories per day throughout. I also supplement my body with 5g creatine a day. I track my calories intake and calories burnt very closely and as accurately as I can using an apple watch and myfitnesspal. This morning I checked my weight at the end of the month mark and it hasnt changed one bit. I cant tell in the mirror if there has been any difference, the scale says no weight loss or gain, the calories say I should have lost at least 2kg fat. What are the possibilities now? Could it be water weight? Couldnit be muscle gain? And do more experienced people on here have any advice for me?

I'll try keep this short because I could ramble all day but it's definitely something interesting I noticed.
While immersion learning still hasn't broken into the mainstream yet, it's becoming an accepted method especially in online spaces.
I've noticed discussions online about people wanting to learn kanji separately and ​of course, everyone states the obvious in that you will be less likely to understand or acquire a word simply by reading it in a vocab list, and should instead find it in content that you can understand.
What I don't get though is that if you turn around and say the same thing about grammar - you are met with ??? and also "why wouldn't you just pick up a textbook/ grammar guide" in response.
If your knee-jerk reaction there is to call out and say "hey well how else would you be able to understand the fundamentals" I can understand the viewpoint in which you're coming from but I feel like it's coming from the wrong place.
No matter what level someone is at - if they're truly serious about learning the language, then they'll come to the realisation that learning and having knowledge of something is different than acquiring it, so regardless of whether someone has knowledge of 10, 20, 500, 1000 words before going into content - that won't instantly ensure they are able to understand it - they'll just FEEL less overwhelmed because it appears like you've got something to work with (and hey I'd be lying if it wasn't slightly less stressful doing that lol).
No matter what though, you'll come across sentences all the time that have all vocabulary/grammar that you "know" and it should make sense but it just doesn't. At times that can be with or without complicated grammar, and I guess that's my point
No matter what you do, your perception of all of these ideas will change over time - and for the difference in the way each of these concepts are separated is super strange to me considering how similar it is to how you actually acquire them.
I also find that when I feel I've "concretely" grasped a grammar concept from a guide, there'll be times where I tunnel vision and focus on one specific idea that the guide presented that isn't correct - or straight up miss a separate one being used because I'm mismatching/crossing wires that would never be connected if you just learn them separately.
Anyone have similar experiences or maybe some pushback? Interested to hear what everyone has to say

Hi! A week ago I decided, under suggestion from a fellow redditor, to overclock my cpu (5.1ghz 1.35v) and well.. I did. I followed this guide from youtube using the "no hyperthreading" one; everything worked fine and it's still working fine, except that from the day after my pc started to power on for like 1/2 seconds then off for 1/2 seconds too and then power on normally like nothing happened. Other than that it doesn't have any other problems. I'm a little worried about it so if you have any ideas please share them

I tried playing ana, zen, bap, and life weaver to support the heck out of my dps but unless they're really good and can out damage mercy's heal with three quick headshots while they break their necks looking at pharah ignoring the doom punching them and the mexican purple lady hacking them at the same time, its useless
And If focusing on supporting my dps doesn't work I try to damage her myself, but unless I sold my soul to the devil for constant headshots, its not gonna work, so I tell my tank to play dva and use the matrix on her (which they never really do and just ignore me and keep rein) then we have a slight chance of actually facing these two heros, but the other three will still harass you while ur trying to kill the pharmacy
And I know now someone's gonna say "in high ranks pharmacy dont really stand a chance" well yeah, high ranks mean good aim, but in my rank players aren't exactly top 500, its completely different, pharah DOMINATE low ranks, I suck at playing dps and still can win easily with pharah let alone pharmacy, u just spam rockets in spectator mode, and the skill required to kill pharah is way harder than the skill required to play her and win.
And yes, every hero is annoying with a pocket, but at least they still walk with their team and u dont have to keep looking at the sky terrorized and playing a hitscan even tho u dont enjoy it but its the only way you'll win since its pharah, echo can also fly but she's not as annoying as pharah, she actually comes down and u have ur chance to kill her even as junk, while pharah most vulnerable moment (and if ur not hitscan, probably ur only chance) is her ult, that's insane, I always see people complain about how annoying sombra is, but at least u can still play your main against her no matter what, you just have to be more careful and whatnot
But when its pharah against u, if u main junk, symmetra, torb, mei, hanzo, reaper, venture, genji, tracer, brigitte, lucio, zen, moira, winston, sigma, roadhog, doomfist, ramatra, and life weaver, then u probably gotta change whither u like it or not, its not about being smart with ur abilities or whatever anymore, i dont think its even about having fun anymore cause I literally have never found someone who enjoys playing against pharah, its just a stinky hero that forces you to change while she just flys and have the best time of her life.
And unlike other heros where u can solo kill them as a support, pharmacy requires you to convince your team to focus mercy first, or kill the other healer, or just basically come up with a plan and talk with them buf if you queue as solo support you'll know no one's gonna give a damn what u tell them, they probably wont change into hitscan in the first place, and tbh I dont blame them, u either continue playing ur main and lose, or change into hitscan and probably still lose
Basically I REALLY wanna find someone who actually enjoys playing against pharah, cause for me I might as well stick a fucking wooden stick up my ass like im dracula than have another pharmacy match

I’ve done a complete lifestyle 180 in the last 3 weeks. I’ve gone from being mostly stationary all day, zero exercise and eating what I wanted, to being in a calorie deficit (most certainly am too, about 500 less - recording everything even oil, butter, fruit squash, spices, etc), training 3 times a week at the gym doing HIIT (Fitbit says burning about 450 cals per 45 min class) and doing 10,000 steps a day. On Sunday I did 17,000 steps. I used to only drink Coca-Cola and am now drinking 2L minimum of watesugar free squash each day. In 3 weeks, I’ve lost 1lb. And I feel really heavy and bloated most of the time too.
I’ve been on my period for 2 weeks now, I take Desogestrel but I still get periods and they’re quite irregular. I wasn’t sure if this could make a difference? (I.e.: being on the pill firstly but also being on my period for 2 weeks). I’m 5ft5 and weigh 83kg, so BMI wise, I’m obese (although I don’t really think BMI is accurate but either way, I could still do with losing a stone or so). I also have PCOS.
My main aim was to improve my mental health and fitness, however I’d like to lose about a stone but have no timeframe etc on it, however I thought most people would lose more in the first few weeks/months, especially when changing lifestyle but 1lb in 3 weeks doesn’t feel like much at all.

I've been playing since the begginning and I remember summer '19, after the first anni if I recall correctly, that they added a new event called: Challenge Rush.
Sometimes they did it by tags so you fought super saiyans or lineage of evil for example and sometimes they did it by colour and there were no boosted characters, only the ones that you had, any tag, any colour, any unit you wanted to use (at the begginning creating a team was so much more complicated without zenkais, LF buffs and Leader buffs but you could create random teams that could work pretty well...) and it was 5 or 6 different battles each with great difficulty and grat reward (I remember once it was like 300 cc per win and no BS clear conditions or stars). It was also fun bc you could try out new teams or fun combinations like a nameku blue spam team to clear the event or a fast dropping card team using future gohan and it didn't matter bc you didn't need to use a predetermined team.
It was a great mode until they did the same they did with Ultra Space Time Rush (Wich gave also ez 500 cc per "Gauntlet" or difficulty) made the Zenkai version that gives us no cc, prolly bc many people could clear it easily (and they dont want you to be F2P and earn good cc) after the level cap went from 3000 to 5000 but before it was a real feat to clear it.
They'll prolly won't do this to TOP bc its only giving limited cc to the people who play it well and have a good team (mostly not F2P)
When they did the Challenge Rush for DB campaign I flipped up bc if you didnt arts boost your characters they literally did negative damage and died like nothing, only able to use DB characters (only the new ones were decent) I almost wasnt able to enjoy this event.
I was not excited when I saw for the GT campaign that they were doing another Challenge Rush bc I thought: Difficult event, new units required, arts boost required, GT only (I had real good GT but if it had to be arts boosted I was Fucked), but to my surprise I was able to clear it with my GT units no diff, GT units were not compulsory, arts boosts were not required, the reward was meh, 1000cc at max and you needed to play the simple phases over and over again each day but the last one had some fun stars conditions like: use 3 GRN or use 3 BLU with all the colours, the challenge was fun and I tried to beat it with what I call CHALLENGE TEAMS, like a 99+ combo team just to see if I could keep it going, a NameKu full Blue card build, a Beast Gohan only etc. I spent a lot of energy to do those challenges only for me and It was real fun.
My surprise arrived with the next Challenge Rush because I wasn't able to play with units from that campaign (Cell Saga and later the same with Saiyan Saga), they boosted the new or some zenkai'd old ones from that saga and was somewhat difficult bc I didn't get Super Vegeta, or Ultra Gohan (I got them when the event ended, lucky me), neither Nº16 and I didnt have ssGohan sparking nor LF Perfect Cell (the one that goes boom) so I tried without using characters from that saga and suddenly and for no apparent reason their arts cards were increasing in ki cost every time I used them and the debuff didn't go away until a lont time without using any arts cards had passed and I had no visible debuffs so I checked the enemy's kit and there was nothing, they simply nerfed artificially every other characters not from the saga (I think making it really challenging and boosting the saga was enough for some people to try and summon) just so you had to summon for the new units just to beat this event (with meh rewards again and not from the challenge battle but from the easy repetitive ones), I managed to beat some of the color challenges using units from other sagas with some clever rotation and supports but anyone without as much skill and time to build their boxes as me (6 years playing) could find this shit unbearable...
they are making moneygrab events so F2P spend all their cc and maybe some money just to beat what otherwise would be a real fun event and battle to test yourself if you wanted
I suggest making a Revolution like they did for Minecraft, WarThunder and HellDivers 2 so they put in some real fun events (make them real challenges if you want but that you can clear the way you want), less bs contidions and some good rewards like they used to be, so much effort to moneygrab and nothing to keep us happy

Was looking around and I’m someone who likes a step by step play or list of things. My knowledge of the game isn’t super big, but I have a good handle on things. One thing that I lack is being able to setup my own list to follow.
That said, was looking around for some efficient guides to follow, it seems that the Oziris V4 received positive feedback. I’ve noticed, though, that it is about 2 years old as of now. Is this okay to use yet?
Would also like to say, played last league and had an account that was non-iron OSRS and had a great time with them. About 500 or so hours (on the non-iron), but felt like being able to trade just inhibited the fun I was having with the game. I recently completed my up to date apple ecosystem, including my Mac. I was thinking which other device would I like to add if i didn’t care about money too much.
Funnily enough there are two devices I never had, always loved and to this date get jealous of. These are the 27” 5K iMac and the 12” MacBook. I think that these two were the pinnacle in Apple’s design. Today’s Mac’s are infinitely better and are on top of the their game, while these weren’t on top even during their time. But they were so nice!
Unfortunately, I was broke AF in a developing country during those years (I had to save for more than 6 months to buy a base iPhone 7 haha).
Nowadays my ecosystem is kind of high end (16” M3 Max 64GB, iPhone 14PM, iPad Pro 12.9 M1 with Magic Keyboard, Apple Watch, AirPods) and there isn’t anything that I would like from newer devices I don’t have. (It’s kind of thing for me but I do like my apple devices a lot, it feels like a small way to see everyday that I have actually made something happen. As little of an achievement as it is for many I never thought I would own a top of the range macbook like my M3 Max now!).
I thought of buying a 27” 5K iMac a few months ago to use as a home desktop and monitor for my Mac. Then I figured that it’s very cumbersome to use it as a monitor and can only be done through glitchy 3rd party apps. Then I thought I could buy a more powerful one to actually use, but figured out that to get a late get i7 or i9 with 32GB of RAM is actually quite expensive, despite the performance being that of an M1 machine. Which makes sense since it’s still a gorgeous machine (I like it a lot more than the current iMac) with a display that on its own is worth easily $500. So, I didn’t feel it was worth spending like $700-800 one something that would be a lot slower than my current machine and would be difficult to connect with.
The second device I loved and missed out on was the 12” MacBook. Especially the Rose Gold one (omg I miss this color so much, had it on my first iPhone). I thought about buying one last year as well since they are quite cheap, but didn’t due to 2 reasons. 1) I don’t trust them, so I don’t wont to spend $200 on something that has a very big chance of breaking real soon (butterfly keyboard issues) 2) my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard outclasses it in every way (except size apparently, with the 12” being significantly smaller and lighter).
So overall I think the time came and past for these devices, and I have no reason to get either.

I am a solo pushcart player. I’m pretty bad and have only played 2 rounds (both booked at tee times that allowed me to play solo for the round).
