Hello everyone, I'm a 27-year-old male. A few days ago, I made a post on this page sharing my situation and my insecurities. It was a life-changing experience because I was at rock bottom. However, after making that post, it changed my perspective on things. My entire outlook on my UPSC preparations shifted. The comments and direct messages I received in response to the post, indicating that many others were in similar situations, surprised me. This opened up a whole new dimension in my life. It's been a few days now, and I've devised a strategy. I've attempted the UPSC twice before, but I consider my second attempt to be the serious one. I've decided to skip this upcoming attempt due to my lack of preparation (I haven't completed the static portion yet).
Why this title? As I mentioned, opening up to this community made me realize I wasn't alone; there are others in worse situations than mine. The valuable feedback I received through that post was gold. It prompted me to step back and look at the bigger picture. I was genuinely surprised by the various messages I received in response.
I took a break from UPSC for a few days and started helping out with my father's business, but now I feel I should get back to studying. I've planned to dedicate 7 hours per day to UPSC preparation, and in the evenings, I'll assist my dad with his work.
Why am I creating a fuss and posting this? Reddit can not only be a teacher to me but also a study partner; it might help me overcome my roadblocks. I believe everything we do revolves around our mindset and beliefs. I'm taking a chance here, making Reddit my accountability partner, where I come to post my progress and setbacks. After the briefing, I encountered her again, it was during an English test. Time's up, paper done, I packed my bag and started to leave but she surprisingly approached me again. She was just asking about the paper, like how is this done, this and that. On my way back, I started to see her differently. Last encounter, not physical, through chat, I was sicked and admitted to the hospital. She was the only person who I knew had the same classes for phys and eng, also I have her hp. So I texted her, saying what I miss, she was very kind about it to provide info. At the moment, I kinda show interest, well is not love at first sight bullshit but just interested, I wanted to know her better.
Present day, it's been few months since we chat, the thought of her kinda graze my mind every now and then. Biggest mistake I made was I should have initiated the conversation more like what do you plan on studying or where do you wanna settle after uni, I thought I could get her to talk to me but I was really shy to converse with her knowing how much I suck at talking to ppl. I only realised this mistake when the new sem started, I should have just ask her out actually, I think she also lived near me according to a conversation I hear with the lecturer and her. Basically, I fucked up. I'm in the same class with her in English only, which in itself is lucky considering there's 31 classes and I got to be in that one class with her. - Im not sure about my feelings either The reason I show interest in this person is because of this person, how she treated me. At first I viewed her as in just like everybody normal, in my college then there's a lot of pretty girls here and there but I'd say she's cute. So my first interaction with her was because my friend wanted data for a physics experiment, I was in the same class with her and basically I was hesitant and I didn't wanna do it but due to the constant begging, I'm like ok it won't hurt I guess. I didn't wanna do it because I don't wanna talk to girls, last time I talk to one it didn't end well. I never dated, she was just an acquaintance I'd say, somehow I'd say something dumb and got pissed off, called me a piece of shit and blocked. Long story short, we phoned the Solicitors about 3-4 times now, we need to move out of our current flat at the end of the month, as we've been told we're close to exchange on the 1st of May, the last bit of enquiries have been answered by the seller's solicitors and sent to our solicitors on the 8th of May. The seller has also received their contract to sign for the exchange.
Meanwhile, I called on Friday to ask where we are and they've said they will send me a report ASAP with all the enquiries and let me know if they will be anything else outstanding.
The solicitors already have our deposit and I send an email to chase up on Tuesday and another one yesterday. Called yesterday in the evning and twice this morning and the secretary says the just can't get hold of them. They aren't local as they've been recommended to us by the mortgage broker.
What can I do? Do I complain to the partner that deals with complains? Do I just wait and figure out another accommodation in the meantime or pray that they come back to us by the end of the month with exchange/completion?
I found reviews online specifically about the 2 people that deal with our case and other people said the same that they just couldn't get hold of them once it was close to exchange.

I received an obvious advance fee scam email on outlook on web browser, it had .jpg attachments and, like an idiot, I clicked on one.
My phone immediately popped a notification saying "New tag collected"
I have since disabled NFC, also, it appears the image wasn't downloaded locally.
Also ran AVG free scan, it said no malware files detected.

I was not there when this happened to stop her, but here is the story she gave me. And this story doesnt quite add up but this is what she told me. I think there are some details missing or something but I cant quite figure what. She stated she wanted to sign up for hulu/disney+ bundle through her cable provider, which was stupid because I already have it and she could've used my login. So anyways she stated she went through her TV and found the app and went to sign up. When she attempted to she had issues and was unable to complete the sign up process but had somehow been charged already????
So she stated that she received a call directly from Hulu customer service. They were going to assist with getting the charged reversed and get the account up and running. So they instructed her to go to Google play and download some app called "ask" something (her words). I tried finding the app in play store, but she already deleted it from her device and history. So this app apparenlty gave them control of her phone. They asked her to login to her banking app so they could initiate a charge back. Well instead of doing that, the initiated about 10 different zelle transactions to different random numbers. Totaling about $3,600. She didn't authorize these zelle transactions and didn't know these people.
So eventually she started to think something was up. She took off the app from her phone and hung up on the "customer service" reps. Buy the damage was already done. She was so embarrassed she didn't tell me. But I finally pryed it out of her. So I called her bank with her and told them what happened. We have disputes filed on all the zelle transactions. The bank had her change her account and online login. I don't think she has much chance of the bank reversing these charges. So I'm not naive enough to think she's going to get the money back. It's gone and I told her the same.
I ran a security check on her phone for malware. Came back okay. She was gonna not tell me or even try and dispute the charges. I told her it's okay and these scammed want you to feel embarrassed because it means you won't do anything or tell anyone.
So a few things about her story are hard for me to figure out.

He got a new girlfriend almost instantly. He’s gone and put her all over his socials. He blocked me on Snapchat but not Instagram which is weird. Some people say he’s done that on purpose to get a rise out of me. He never made me his profile picture. We were together two years.
I ended up on a psych ward because of the abuse not that he knows that. I deleted insta off my phone and I’ve stayed off it once I saw his new gf.
