In this article, we will explore the importance of supply chain confidentiality in Web3 and how leveraging premium IP proxies like IPRockets can enhance privacy and security in supply chain management.
The Importance of Supply Chain Confidentiality in Web3:
Supply chains are complex networks of interconnected entities, including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. These entities exchange a vast amount of sensitive information, including product designs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer data. In the digital age, this information is often stored and transmitted online, making it susceptible to cyberattacks and data breaches.
Maintaining supply chain confidentiality is essential for protecting intellectual property, trade secrets, and competitive advantage. A breach of confidentiality can result in financial losses, reputational damage, and legal liabilities. In Web3, where data is stored on decentralized platforms and accessed through smart contracts, the risk of unauthorized access and data leaks is even higher.

2024.05.29 02:31 Jatalocks2 Both proxy/no proxy work locally but nothing works on cloud server (Python)

Hey, a web scraping noob here.
I have a scraper for an e-commerce website. As the title says, I don't know what is it about my request that the website recognizes.
Locally, every single proxy and non-proxy request I make to that site works. They don't even restrict my local IP. However on my cloud machine, I tried multiple proxies from countless sources, both free and not free, residential, mobile, different regions, etc. No matter what, the cloud server gets 403 when using those. If I use them on my local machine, it works as usual.
I know there must be something trivial about the fact that my request is from a local machine as opposed to a cloud machine, but I don't know how to fix it. It seems like a common problem. Does anybody know?

2024.05.28 22:29 MilkCannonMiltank Want to self-publish. Next steps?

I have been playtesting my first game for a couple of years now. It’s a creepy-cute drafting card game. It has had very good reception even in designer events. I would consider the gameplay to be in final stages with very little tweaks to be done. I have some proxy artwork but I know my next step is to finish all the visuals.
I’ve found an artist I really like and they’ve quoted me about $6300 CAD for about 45 original illustrations I need for the game. This would come out of pocket atm but I want to address question 1: Any opinions on the quote? Is it fair or too high? It would come to about $140 per illustration. And, if I offered deposit and the other half as royalties, which percentage is usually offered to artists? I would like to add that this artist has a fair amount of followers and has done some incredible work for big clients.
Besides this my main questions come through the marketing. I understand that KS is best used in the end and to actually build a base before is the best. It just doesn’t make sense to me to make a website, SM account, newsletter etc when I don’t have any official artwork done. In my head I should wait to have some final art to start any marketing related tasks. Am I wrong with this?
Eventually more things will come up but atm this is what I feel is more urgent and requires my attention the most. Thanks for your time reading :)
EDIT: I am not pitching it to anyone, so please refrain on commenting to do so. Thank you.

2024.05.28 22:19 Temporary_Noise_4014 Investing in Uranium: A Closer Look at Generation Uranium Inc. (TSXV: GEN)

While precious metals are on most investors’ radar more or less of the time, others sneak up on the markets. We went through lithium cobalt, etc, and while those commodities are still maintaining a level of interest and robustness, the latest interest has developed in Uranium. Therefore, an example of a decent player in the sector is warranted. The choice is Generation Uranium Inc. (the “Company” or “Generation”) (TSXV: GEN). Here is the CORPORATE PRESENTATION for those who want a quick fix. For context, this is one of many price forecasts for a metal at the forefront of a commodity that is becoming scarcer. I suggest the numbers below are conservative. Giant Cameco (CCO) states these reasons for the growing need for Uranium. The first is to lift one-third of the global population from energy poverty by growing clean and reliable baseload electricity. Second, 85% of the current global electricity grids that run on thermal power should be replaced with a clean, reliable alternative. Finally, the goal is to grow global power grids by electrifying industries, such as private and commercial transportation and home and industrial heating, primarily powered by thermal energy today. Big Uranium picture– supply/demand; Now that we have set the context let’s talk about GENERATION uranium. Since this is an intro piece, I will likely lift some stuff from the website. This will provide a basis for ongoing development as we progress in future pieces. As you can see, the area is the ‘box’ for Canadian uranium mining. Gen also announced that the inaugural exploration program on its self-same Yath project will begin on its 85km², 8,500-ha property located in the Thelon Basin in Nunavut, Canada. Due to strong historical sampling and anticipated long-term elevated world spot uranium pricing due to favourable supply and demand dynamics, the Company anticipates expending significant capital resources into the basin in 2024. “With high-grade historic results and extensive historical work, the Company is anticipated to resume additional field exploration in the coming weeks at Yath to better decipher the near-term drill target potential of known uranium mineralization. Generation believes in the untapped potential at Yath, as adequate diamond drilling was never conducted as a consequence of the downturn in uranium prices subsequent to the Fukushima nuclear incident”. Generation Uranium as a proxy is quite simple. The Company doesn’t own dozens of disparate properties but has decided to be more direct. It holds an option to acquire a 60% interest in and to the Arlington Property, located within the Arrow Boundary District of south-central British Columbia, and a 100% interest in the Yath Uranium Project, located in the Territory of Nunavut. The stats for the Yath project look impressive enough to warrant a position as a growth stock and a proxy for the scarcity of Uranium. No matter the makeup of uranium-generated power, it will always be ‘clean and green’ or grey or…well, you get the point.

2024.05.28 14:03 n930 Questions regarding self-hosting of Wordpress

Hiya all,
I'm a freelance WP website creator, and I am hosting a few live websites for myself and clients using services from a local hosting provider.
2+ years ago I started hosting things at home too, on a Windows Server PC, and so far so good, I've had zero issues.
ATM I'm thinking of moving all web projects to home since I recently found some time to successfully deploy a WP-hosting-ready solution on the said Server.
The current config includes a Docker Env running under a virtualized Ubuntu 24.04 LTS machine on Hyper-V with nginx proxy manager installed, and everything seems ready to run.
The domains are forwarded to home via Cloudflare and are routed to their destinations via the Windows IIS ARR feature currently, and I am planning to run a few websites on the aforementioned Ubuntu Installation, so I will be routing domains on a second loop via the nginx instance.
So I'm asking for your opinion on the whole setup regarding reliability and what can I expect to go wrong. I'm saying this in advance - I refuse to rebuild and rethink the whole setup to remove Windows altogether, so everyone can spare opinions in that regard. The mission behind this post is mainly to get myself ready for any disasters incoming. Again, the configuration is the same for 2+ years and so far is as robust as it can get, so I will not break what's not broken.
And one more thing, I am a little lost on what to do with backing this config up. While the rest of the projects that are hosted are running on separate Hyper-V VMS, I am just backing up their VHDs elsewhere and in case of a disaster, everything can be restored for just a few minutes. But when it comes to the Docker ENV, I am unsure how to back up the separate containers I'm having. Perhaps I should deploy a Container containing some software to do so, but unsure on that, and I will greatly benefit from your opinions on the matter. So far I am daily backing up the VHD of the Ubuntu install, but if I'm making changes to separate websites, I'd prefer to have separate backups too.
So that's about it. Thank you in advance for your opinions.

2024.05.28 13:32 ProxySeller Creating and setting your own 4G/5G mobile proxies

Creating and setting your own 4G/5G mobile proxies
To begin with, it's worth finding out what a mobile proxy is. It is a type of proxy that you get from the regular SIM card of a mobile operator, and the type of connection here can also be different - 3G/4G/5G. Just like regular server proxies, mobile proxies act as an intermediary between the user and the endpoint of the connection, and the feature is that you use the network of the mobile operator and the SIM card itself to connect. And the key difference from server proxies here is that you get not static proxies, but a separate pool of rotating IP addresses. Mobile IP proxies are designed in such a way that IP addresses from mobile providers will be in continuous rotation, therefore, IP addresses will be constantly changed to new ones, which opens up unique opportunities if such proxies are used correctly.
Now, with this information in hand, we can deal with more detailed questions, specifically what is a mobile proxy farm and how to create your own mobile proxy.

Why should you create your own mobile proxy?

Creating your own mobile proxy can be a valuable venture, particularly for those looking to resell IP addresses. These farms are often demanded by medium to large companies that require a significant number of IP addresses. Quite often medium or even large businesses consider creating mobile 4G proxy farms in case they need a large number of IP addresses, as mobile proxy farms are not only cost-effective but also have a very high trust factor and are comparable only to residential proxies. While residential proxies are tied to traffic, mobile proxies have unlimited bandwidth, and this becomes a key factor in calculating costs. The rotation capabilities of a single mobile proxy allow for obtaining a thousand IP addresses per day without traffic limits, making them highly efficient in the market. The larger the business size, the more tangible the economic benefit of mobile proxies becomes for the company since the pay-per-traffic model of residential proxies will be less cost-effective for their high-volume IP address needs.
Therefore, 4G/5G proxy with rotation not only helps in the data collection process but also gives access to content that is geo-restricted and thus helps mask user activity. A own mobile proxy farm will be useful for such tasks:
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Mobile proxies, with their unlimited bandwidth and rotation capabilities, offer a cost-effective solution, especially for businesses with high-volume IP address needs.
  • Geo-Targeting: Mobile proxy farm gives you the ability to customize more precise display of ads based on specific countries and regions, according to the location of the key audience.
  • Product Data Scraping: Mobile proxies enable point-by-point collection of product information, such as availability and price in specific regions, aiding in market discovery and trend analysis.
  • Testing Applications: 4G/5G mobile proxies provide opportunities to test applications and websites in specific regions, ensuring functionality and performance.
  • Network Activity Management: Within a company, mobile proxies can monitor traffic among employees, enhancing security and increasing productivity.
So if you're considering building your own 4G mobile proxy farm, this is an issue that deserves your attention, because you get personalized access to an entire farm with impressive features and no traffic limits. Mobile proxies continue to grow daily, opening up many new opportunities in a wide variety of industries. And for business solutions, mobile proxies are an integral tool that enables a variety of strategies.

What do you need to create a mobile proxy?

In answering the question of how to create your own mobile proxy, we need to consider all the components and equipment that will be required for such a purpose. To create a 4G/LTE mobile proxy you will need:
  • SIM card: You need to choose the right operator, with the tariff plans you need.
  • Modem/smartphone: The SIM card requires an activation and connection device. Each SIM card requires one modem, but you can also use a regular smartphone with 5G capabilities as a modem, and this feature will also be available on our service soon.
  • Hub: You will also need a USB hub, ideally with 10 to 20 ports. You will need this connect hub to accommodate your modems with SIM cards.
  • PC/Server: Any personal computer is required but with a Linux operating system installed on it. A TV tuner is also a good cost-effective option. Usually, modern models are built on hardware that can support multiple modems. In terms of cost, they will also cost less than PCs or servers.
  • Mobile Proxy Control Panel: A special panel will also be required for modem management, which makes it easier to manage traffic and optimize the performance of proxy servers.

Mobile Proxy Control Panel Overview and Features

We have developed a convenient solution for managing your mobile proxy farm or individual modems, and this panel allows you to configure mobile proxies in the most detailed and convenient way due to its wide functionality and user-friendly interface.
We also offer several options for using your mobile panel. Namely:
  • If you have all the necessary equipment, we offer a monthly subscription.
  • If you do not have the equipment, we offer a pre-packaged set of equipment including delivery. But please note that the subscription is not included in this set and it must also be purchased separately.
To better understand how the mobile panel works and its key features, we suggest reviewing its complete structure to fully understand the functionality of the control panel.

The mobile panel is divided into several main sections, namely: "Home", "Knowledge Base" and "Setup".
https://preview.redd.it/ewqgu7k8k53d1.jpg?width=398&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c9f0abc9ba56d4d6164bb77a24d674272dc7d19
  • "Home" - all connected hubs and modems are displayed here. This is the main working area and all settings can be conveniently configured here.
  • "Setup" - in this section you can set up synchronization of your equipment with the mobile panel and also set up the necessary connection.
  • "Knowledge Base" - a section with general information, answers to common questions, and various tutorials on mobile proxy configuration.

Mobile panel workspace key features

In this section, we will look separately at how the Home section is organized. Directly below the button, you can see a roster of live host tabs. Every tab functions as a graphical depiction of a connected hub, accompanied by its bounded modems.
https://preview.redd.it/o53x26y9k53d1.jpg?width=412&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=10aa057456003d329299cc1f9deac4c4e181a0ad
By clicking on the three dots next to the tab name, you can delete an unnecessary tab or rename one of the tabs. Also, this Modem Management window consists of two sections: one (upper) for managing the selected modems, and the second (lower) serves as a knowledge base, which contains information about modems and SIM cards for a specific hub.

An explanation of the modem control panel

https://preview.redd.it/5idtvjabk53d1.jpg?width=746&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a09cd6a8a59d7cff46bffd860a8cbb96bc825cc

2024.05.28 12:51 RYU_1337 $$ - Nginx Proxy Manager (docker container)

Hello everyone,
I'm facing two main issues with my network setup and would really appreciate any insights or assistance.
  1. Nginx Proxy Manager on NAS: I'm running Nginx Proxy Manager (NPM) as a Docker container on my NAS. I've encountered an issue where adding a host to reverse proxy does not work, despite the firewall (UniFi) seemingly configured correctly since direct reverse proxy configurations on the NAS itself work without any problems. It appears that the problem might be with NPM's configuration rather than the firewall.
  2. Cross-Subnet VM Communication: My VMs are on a NAT-configured 10.0.1.0/24 network, and my NAS is on a 172.16.0.0/24 network. I can ping the NAS from within the 172. network without issues. However, attempts to use the built-in reverse proxy to access a website on the 10. network fail unless I add a second network adapter to the VMs with a 172. IP address, after which it works fine.
I've tried various troubleshooting steps without success and am considering professional help to resolve these issues. If you have experience with similar setups or any suggestions, please share them here or send me a DM.
Thank you!

2024.05.28 11:47 SignificanceNo3189 Create a web proxy to share website service using only one user login

I'm planning to develop a web app for my business network that can access a web page (Power BI report) and remember my login info. This way, I can share the local address with employees without giving them my login details.
I was thinking of using a Flask app, but I'm not sure how to manage the cookies to keep my session open. Ideally, I want to login once, and then the app should handle the cookies.
Is there an easier way to do this or a better library I should use?

2024.05.28 05:53 AdditionalHandle3594 Resolving the Instagram Open Proxy Error

What Does Open Proxy Mean on Instagram?

Instagram has stringent rules regarding its usage, and encountering an "Open Proxy" error indicates that you won't be able to access the app or website from the device using the flagged IP address. This typically means Instagram has banned your IP, rejecting all data requests sent from it.

What May Cause This?

  1. Excessive liking, commenting, or following/unfollowing accounts.
  2. An IP address associated with past malicious activities on the platform.
  3. Using public Wi-Fi that has been exploited for malicious purposes.
  4. Unrecognized login attempts or posting unusual content.
  5. Clicking on links from unfamiliar sources.

How to Fix Instagram Open Proxy Error?

The first step is to try unblocking access directly through Instagram support, though success is often limited, especially if your actions still violate the platform's rules. Another option is using an Instagram proxy. An Instagram proxy acts as an intermediary server, masking your device’s IP address and providing an additional layer of privacy and security. This setup allows your device to communicate with Instagram via the proxy server, which forwards your requests on your behalf.

The Power of Instagram Unblock Proxy

Beyond resolving IP bans, Instagram proxies offer various advantages, such as managing multiple accounts, growing followers, and scraping information. Here’s what you can do with Instagram unblock proxies:
  1. Access Unblocked: Proxies can help bypass restrictions in workplaces, educational institutions, or countries. While VPNs provide comprehensive security and privacy, proxies are faster as they do not encrypt the entire internet connection.
  2. Manage Multiple Accounts: Instagram allows up to five accounts per user. Proxies are essential for handling more than a few accounts, preventing your IP from being flagged by Instagram.
  3. Grow Followers: Multiple accounts with unique profiles and content strategies can attract more followers. While this approach may not be entirely ethical, adhering to Instagram’s guidelines ensures sustainable growth.

How to Use Instagram Proxy Effectively?

  1. Assign One Account per Proxy: Allocate just one account to a distinct proxy to prevent potential banning issues. Choose high-quality, reputable proxy providers with IP rotation and advanced security features.
  2. Scrape Slowly: Use web scraping tools or custom scripts in programming languages like Python. Mimic human behavior by adding random pauses between requests and limiting concurrent requests.
  3. Avoid Free Proxies: Free proxies are often unreliable and insecure. They are usually overcrowded, slow, and may not provide privacy or anonymity. Known free proxy IP addresses are actively blocked by Instagram.
OkeyProxy is a top choice for Instagram proxies. Offering rotating residential, static residential, and data center proxies, OkeyProxy’s rotating residential proxies, obtained from authentic residential users, make your Instagram bot nearly identical to real users, allowing you to automate tasks without the risk of being blocked.

These S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow Jones ‘rallies’ look made to fade. May 28, 2024
By : Matt Simpson, Market Analyst
I noted at the end of April that average returns of US stock markets were actually skewed to the upside, which flew in the face of the old adage "sell in May and go away." The seasonality matrix shows that global indices don't tend to provide negative returns until August or September, with July providing positive average returns beforehand.
We have four full trading days left in the month, and odds favour another bullish month for US indices. However, price action on the daily timeframe has alerted me to a potential pullback, while VIX futures and market positioning are also sending smoke signals to be aware of.
https://preview.redd.it/sj0wxw1l333d1.png?width=1485&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7d1b412b26c6de78c4015b9924bf5756b68295e

VIX market positioning from the weekly COT report

The VIX represents the implied volatility of the S&P 500 index over the next 30 days, as perceived by options traders. A lower reading suggests lower levels of expected volatility, while a higher VIX means increased levels of expected volatility. Although it is based on the S&P 500, it serves as a global benchmark for implied volatility of the stock market in general.
https://preview.redd.it/kt52ujko333d1.png?width=1245&format=png&auto=webp&s=01623dd8ebe9af216a9f13b11ac4111dd2b684e4
It is therefore interesting to note that the VIX reached a four-year low last week, just as open interest (a proxy for volume) hit its second-highest level on record, according to the commitment of traders report. As the data is accurate up to Tuesday, May 21st, and the VIX futures market subsequently rose and broke a four-week losing streak, I suspect a cycle low for volatility may be in place. If so, this suggests higher levels of volatility, which doesn't generally bode well for US indices.

S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones (Futures and cash markets)

The top panels show the futures markets, the lower shows their respective cash markets. It can be useful to compare the two to provide hidden support or resistance areas between them.
https://preview.redd.it/goubv9kr333d1.png?width=1485&format=png&auto=webp&s=9b6fc5fe9d5e9bce894e3a72c213e838e4d607a9

S&P 500 (ES1! Futures, SPX cash):

The futures market drifted higher on Monday in a tight range, but what has really caught my eye is how the overnight high met resistance around the April high and the high-volume node of the rally from April's low. Given that the price action of the past two days remains within the body of Thursday's bearish engulfing day, my hunch is to fade into rallies beneath the all-time high upon any moves inside Thursday's upper wick.
Bears could seek an initial move back to the bearish engulfing low. However, we likely need to see the S&P 500 cash market (lower panel) break comfortably beneath its gap support level before becoming too confident about further downside in the futures market.

Nasdaq 100 (NQ1! Futures, NDX cash):

Tech stocks have the slight upper hand, as Nasdaq futures are trading in the upper wick of Thursday's bearish engulfing candle (and shortly-lived all-time high). Yet I really do not trust these early moves in thin trade, which has allowed the US dollar to drift lower, AUD/USD, EUUSD, and the like to drift higher along with US futures. Like the S&P 500, I seem to want to fade into these drifting markets with a stop above the all-time high.
The March high of ~18,700 makes a likely target for bears, although I'd like to see the cash market break or form a daily close beneath its March high before getting too excited over a deeper correction. A break beneath the 18,545 low on Nasdaq futures opens up a run for 18,200 near the high-volume node of the rally from April's low.

Dow Jones (YM! Futures, DJI cash):

For a brief momentum in history, the Down Jones cash market traded above 40k. I am fairly certain it will break above that level in future, but for now the Dow is leading the declines on Wall Street.
Yet Dow Jones futures are trying to form a low above the 39k handle (near a high-volume node). And this paves way for a minor bounce, which may help better time shorts for the Nasdaq or S&P 500. The Dow seems likely to appeal to bears seeking swing trades, but that requires either evidence of a lower high forming – or a break below 39k to suggest bearish continuation.

Is anyone else running Forgejo, and using Caddy as the reverse proxy? I've been trying to get Forgejo working all day. I can access it's website fine, but when I try to push commits to a repo I created in Forgejo, it constantly bombs out with errors:
send-pack: unexpected disconnect while reading sideband packet Writing objects: 100% (2684/2684), 51.96 MiB 59.85 MiB/s, done. Total 2684 (delta 1402), reused 2684 (delta 1402), pack-reused 0 (from 0) fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly
My Caddy config is nothing but a reverse_proxy line, which is what the Forgejo docs say to use. But the reverse proxy is the only thing I can think that might be messing things up.
Anyone else ever run into this sort of issue?
Edit: Forgot to mention I'm accessing the repo from Git using HTTPS, not SSH. I honestly have no idea how to route SSH through a reverse proxy, when the proxy is already routing to a different port that the service runs on.
