2024.05.03 00:00 Candid_Carpet_7184 AITA for admitting that I don’t want to go out in public with my aunt?

My(18m) aunt can be embarrassing with her extremely short temper. She often yells at waiters and waitresses when her food is oveundercooked. My dad has told her it’s not their fault but she said she can’t go into the kitchen to yell at the chef so she has to settle for yelling at the waitstaff, and that if they are upset they can go yell at the chef for her. Also yells at cashiers when her discount coupons expire, even though there are expiry dates on them and she didn’t check.
Two weeks ago, my granddad had to see a doctor. Since she got her driver’s license suspended and my granddad’s eyesight is no longer so good, my aunt had me drive them there.
While we were waiting for the appointment with the long queue she went to a nurse and started shouting, demanding an answer as to why the patient before us was taking so long. I wanted to hide my face in my book so badly. Instead me and my granddad had to tell her to stop harassing the poor nurse
Yesterday my dad told me we’re having lunch with my aunt to celebrate her birthday. I asked him if he would mind it if I didn’t go, since I don’t want to be there when she loses her temper again.
My dad looked very upset. He told me he understands how I feel but that she is still his sister, and that as embarrassed as he gets he still keeps her around and I should feel the same since she is my aunt.

2024.05.02 23:56 EnvironmentalAd6029 First 2024 Election Prediction

First 2024 Election Prediction

Pop vote: Biden+2.7
I will provide some analysis on the states below

Biden+0.7
Trumps rural support stagnates except for the southwest Pittsburgh exurbs and some suburban gains. Biden marginally gains in the southeast region of PA around Chester and Montgomery. Biden stagnates/drops the further north you go up east PA. Trump manages to flip Northhampton back, a county that moved nine points to the right for him in 2016, and then five points left in 2020. Trump also manages to flip Erie by a thin margin, down from his 2016 numbers in the county.
Trump makes some gains in the Philly area, with decreased black turnout as well as making inroads with the groups there. Philly probably moves about 1-3 points right from 2020.
Overall Trump comes up short in the state, and with PA staying in the democrat column, Biden wins a second term.

Biden+1.2
The GOP is in disarray in Arizona, and with the more social liberal slant of todays AZ, we see significant backlash against Trump. Arizona's GOP is probably a shining example of an out of touch party. Trump makes gains in Yuma, Santa Cruz, and some of the more rural ancestral democrat areas in the southeast, however gets kicked hard in Pima and Maricopa. Maricopa probably tops out at around D+4.2 and Pima at D+22.
Due to Trumps and Bidens unpopularity in the state, the turnout decreases for both sides, with the state having a portion of the electorate backing various third parties. Bidens win turn out to be a plurality somewhere in the mid 40s.
The border issue does benefit Trump, but Maricopa county is much more concerned about abortion and entitlements. The GOP shot themselves in the foot here and 2016 truly was the states last hurrah. The Arizona GOP needs to reinvent itself in order to win anything in the future, since 2022 saw a blue sweep of most statewide offices.
Trump does not push Santa Cruz to likely D, as the 2016-2020 shifts are not going to be as drastic across the board this time.
Biden also improves in the Flagstaff area, winning more of the upper income liberals.

Trump+5.5
I roasted the Arizona GOP so now you guys are getting torched too. Texas Dems have been the "nothing ever happens" party for nearly a decade now. Abortion proved to be a non motivating issue in 2022, with Abbot banning forms of abortion on the campaign trail. So the question is, what the hell does Biden have to run on here? Trends?
The Texas dems are unpopular, and Democrats themselves need to admit the border situation is NOT good for Biden. I constantly see folks talking about Trumps PA primary performance, but y'all never yap about how atrocious Joe did here. Trump got more raw votes for the first time in Republican primary history than Biden in certain counties in the Rio Grande area such as Cameron. The pan handle was more pro Biden than the Rio Grande.
There is a reason that the Texas GOP is more popular than it was even years ago. Abbots approval is 55% (https://texaspolitics.utexas.edu/set/greg-abbott-job-approval-trend) because he is defying the feds and being a border hard liner. Cruz's approval is at 49% (https://texaspolitics.utexas.edu/set/ted-cruz-approval-april-2024). Not bad approvals by any measurement.
Keep in mind these polls also include the suburban voter. The Texas suburbs do not hate Abbot putting razor wire on the border.
Sure if 2016-2020 trends do what they did in 2020, it can be a significant Biden gain. However they will not. In fact, I do not even have to say anything more. Because when it doesn't happen I won't let this place hear the end of it.
I am giving this place hella grace by even implying a 0.1% leftward shift when it could easily shift right too.

Biden+1.4
Nevada GOP is also the "nothing ever happens" party. Republicans I am going to torch you guys now too.
Trump is just not the guy for Nevada. It has rejected him twice now and it is obvious it is a Trump thing more than a policy thing even. Lombardo ran on anti lockdown ideals and rode a wave of backlash that only gifted him a 1 point win against an unpopular governor. Trump ran on anti lockdown policies DURING the lockdowns and Nevada gifted Biden a 2 point win. Trump no matter what he runs on here just isn't him yall.
Nevada shifts a bit rightward but not by a huge margin. Where are Republicans going to make up these votes? The cope I have been seeing is "Clark is the next Miami Dade" which is just stupid. In fact I don't even need to say much more. Trump will shift Vegas like 0.6% right again but that is about it. Biden improves in Reno but even then that is just a drop of the electorate.
You notice how when the Nevada GOP runs competent and moderate candidates they win. Sandoval won by like 40 points. Populists and Flopulists are just not nevada canidates.

Trump+0.2
An extremely narrow Trump win, which means I think Trump pulls it off, but I would not be too surprised if Biden wins it.
Overall I do not have too much to say about this state. The corridors that are majority manufacturing jobs continue their shift to the right and some union support backs Trump. Biden has turnout issues in Madison and Milwaukee sees Trump inroads with black folks and just less turnout in general.
Although I do not think the margins will be hugely drastic, IMO WI will be decided within a few thousand votes, or possibly hundred. So I do think every movement here counts.
Biden makes small marginal gains in the WOW counties but the southwest rurals and the driftless area continutes its shift towards Trump, but not Republicans. Trump could outrun Hovde by double digits here, while Hovde outruns Trump in the WOW area.
Overall it was always going to be hard for Biden to keep such a narrow won state in 2020 in a rematch scenario. If RoJo pulled a 1 point win in 2022 with a Biden+1 electorate I think Trump will pull the state.

Trump+1
Uh oh.
The discourse around this state has gotten so toxic that I don't even want to comment on it that much.
What some do not realize is that a 0.3 decrease in turnout in heavily black counties of Clayton and Dekalb would've given Trump the state in 2020. Obviously I believe it will be a lot more than that. Abortion is not that effective of a campaign here, and I think Biden comes into the state a lot weaker than he did in 2020.
Biden probably improves in the whiter areas of the Atlanta suburbs. Pushing Fayette to about trump+4. There are no double digit shifts in suburban Atlanta though, for either candidate. I believe Trumps rural turnout will fluctuate by region, but will turnout in a much larger number compared to black people in Fulton and Clayton.
We can play the number game all day, but come election day one side is going to be humbled and the other will be the correct predictor.
Bidens approvals and numbers have dropped by double digits in the state, while Trumps on a bad day is about -3 if what it was. There is also consistent polling that shows that Georgia has changed its tone on Trumps presidency (https://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=2d4f47b8-3454-44f1-a9b3-9f10928797d5) where they see the job he did as good.
Overall this community is going to disagree with me hard here, and I think you guys have good ideas on predicting the state. But I also do not think Biden being a lot more unpopular now, and Trump being almost the same discounts the idea that he could win the state.
Georgia polling also has only slightly overestimated Republicans in recent years. If the polling shows a Trump+1 win, I might change my tune come November. But so far Georgia has not had huge polling misses.

Trump+2.2
Trump improves by less than a point in the state. Biden swings some of the suburbs leftward but nowhere near the margin of 2016-2020. The northeast ancestral dem white areas, and blacker areas, also marginally swing to Trump with lower turnout on both sides.
The eastern coastline in general will probably see universal rightward shifts, along with the border of South Carolina. This is something I do not see discussed too often when discussing the state. Trump flips Nash and Wilson county, as well as the border county of Anson which moved 8 points rightward due to minority shifts.
Overall things do not move too much in the state.
And, for the record,,, Stein wins by about 3-4 points. And no, I do not believe gubernatorial races make more dems turnout than the literal president does.

Biden+1.5
Macomb county is not safe, error. Probably around R+10
Currently I think Biden faces an upward climb here, however this could change come November. Trump improves with auto workers and union members, as well as wins some of the rurals in larger numbers. Biden improves on the suburbs, but has a substantial drop in turnout in Detroit and not just the city, but the cities inside Wayne county. Trump flips Muskegon as well as Saginaw narrowly, and has a bit more exurban appeal and probably wins more WWC voters over in general this time.
The abortion talk as well as Whitmer benefits Biden for sure, but there was also a massive crossover support for Whitmer in 2022 along with a hugely favorable Biden+7 electorate in general.
Trump improves in Macomb county, a WWC that shifted hard right towards him in 2016 and then bounced a small margin to Biden in 2020. (I do not believe a 15 point shift right in 2016, and then a 2 point shift left in 2020, is a leftward trend). Oakland county, gets pushed to about D+16, an improvment in a used to be ancestrally republican county. Biden faces turnout issues with white college voters in Washtenaw, which will cut his margin possibly more than the muslim backlash.
Overall, Biden wins the state by somewhere from 1-2 points. A rightward shift from 2020 but not the narrowest win possible.

Overall Biden wins the EC and the popular vote, but both shift right from 2020.

2024.05.02 22:48 InfernoX250 Knowledge on the magic gear guide rating?

So having played this game for a while and with both the Laxus and gear increased events right now. I think my brain broke when I got these 2 things in short succession.
  1. I got Laxus pretty easily on a limited coupon first time, so he was done and I get free shards from the ongoing trial event.
  2. I managed to pull a heart of the phoenix extremely rare neckpiece.
But before I attached it onto anyone, something got me wondering...the BP rating for the magic gear that anyone can get.
And it seems funny but somehow...Its not exactly clear how this runs.
As a few examples
my Natsu has a sword that was supreme, physical attack, fire attack, and multiple damage but it was at 25K. Seems balanced given his stats all line up like this and multiple damage works well for his brilliant flame passive.
Gray however was at an advanced grail, Ice attack, penetration, and life recovery at 20K
Then I see Elfman with a grail with Earth attack, Physical Defense, and lifesteal its advanced...but its sitting at 12K?
Thats when I was wondering..how despite this rank is it much less than Grays for example?
Does Elfman favor defensive bonuses? I looked around a bit more and was wondering aside from obviously you give physical to physical and magical to magical while trying to get some mono elemental gear on others. Obviously some non elemental users like base Erza or Bisca you try to give physical attack.
This is where is gets bonkers and I really dont understand.
So since I had Laxus and he is a versatile light user, I drew a supreme grail with light attack twice and invulnerability.
So I slap it on him. In true fairy tail fashion, Laxus is just plotwise stronger with this thing cracking 30K.
Laxus with double light buff going insane. Yet on others with another piece that has physical attack buffs twice..this doesnt happen.
How does the magic gear rating work? Its really making me curious because even with my heart of the phoenix, this extremely rare HP, ATK shield/invulerability gear ready to be used. I'm wondering who can make the best use of this given this cryptic BP rating system.
I assumed maybe it lingered not on just their arch type and accompanying element but maybe also their powers like Gray resonated with penetration stats it seemed or something defensive given his defense buff as his life goes down.
Is there any clear knowledge on this?

2024.05.02 21:46 Loveclasher Ranking all upcoming cards version 3.0

This is my 3rd times ranking all unreleased cards. Previous two times seen here: https://www.reddit.com/MarvelSnap/comments/17m6tqh/ranking_all_of_the_unreleased_datamined_cards/ https://www.reddit.com/MarvelSnap/comments/1aonr70/ranking_the_upcoming_cards/ I have had some very bad misses such as being way to low on Cannonball, red hulk, and Blob. Then too high on Sebastian shaw and grand master. That being said I correctly predicted hope summers, mockingbird, cull obsidian, ms. Marvel, and annhilus being great. Also, correctly guessed havok, Hercules, and martyr would be bad. The reason I do this is because its fun and I like to gather community feedback to better decide what cards to go after. All cards are subject to change or not be released at all (Firestar). In addition, other cards can be buffed or nerfed that affect these cards viability. A few cards I’m not quite sure how their abilities fully work making ranking them hard. Overall, I believe cards being released recently are much better cards then ones in the past. Without further ado here we go:
Makkari 3 3 After the turn, runs from your hand to a random location. (if possible) A “free” 3 power can be nice, but generally you want your cards doing more. M’baku and angel are also free power and are some of the worst cards of the game. It might make some stronguy and surfer lists but seems weak to me.
Arishem 7 7 At the start of the game, +1 Max Energy. Shuffle 12 random cards in your deck. The extra energy is nice, but 24 card decks makes it extremely inconsistent. It does have some synergies in quinjet and mockingbird, if you actually draw them. If you ever played a weirdworld game there are times you just never get any good cards.
Namora 5 5 Give + 5 Power to each of your cards alone at another location. This works best in wong and odin combos. Like most other wong odin combo if you get it off you probably win. I’ve also seen suggested pair it with miss marvel then close with doom turn 6. Just seems like a card that needs a lot of set up.
Sage 3 0 On Reveal: +2 Power for each different Power among all other cards here. Recently changed from a 4 to a 3 cost I think this is a lot better. It will still want to be played later in the game. Controlling power on opponents’ side much harder. At max this has 14 power, but 6 to 8 power if played late game seems more realistic. Can pair with ravonna to discount it and even goblins thrown on opponent’s side. Negative decks can also pop off with this.
Nocturne 3 5 You can Move this once. When this Moves, replace its location with a random new one. As the son of scarlet witch and nightcrawler it gets their combined stats and ability. This might see some play in the angela elsa hope deck, I’m not sure if its better then other cards in that shell like kitty, jeff, nightcrawler, hulkbuster, silk. Scarlet witch doesn’t see much play so the random location part doesn’t seem that beneficial. Also based on wording not sure if it changes location it moves to or where it moves from. If nothing else great in C5.
Ajax 4 4 Ongoing: +1 Power for each card in play afflicted with negative Power. I have to wonder if luke cage is in play are cards still counted as being afflicted with negative power buffing this? If yes, that makes this card much better as you can decrease your own cards power with typhoid mary or hazmat without worry. Also, obviously pairs well with onslaught, high evo and other affliction cards like scorpion, red guardian, and spider woman.
Gilgamesh 5 2 On Reveal: +2 Power for each of your other cards in play with increased Power. This card is entirely dependent on if its like Shaw and permanent power increases or it works with ongoing cards. If this works with Blue marvel its easy to zoo out and get this to 20 power or otherwise its pretty limited.
Sersi 5 7 Transform your other cards here into random cards that cost 1 more. (if able) While this is rngesque in general higher cost cards have more power then lower cost ones. I think this works best with brood transforming the 3 2 into multiple 4 cost cards, very rarely will it be a horrible outcome. Even though about using this with sentry void and turning it into a 5 cost card.
Copycat 3 5 When you draw this, steal the text from the bottom card of your opponent’s deck. If this removes the text right from the card it steals that could be very good with korg/rockslide as it gives them another possibly useless draw as their deck is shuffled. Also, can work with mill decks as well. That being said potentially being a useless draw in a game with only 6 turns can be a huge detriment. At worse though you gain intel of what your opponent won’t draw.
Hydra Bob 2 5 After each turn, move to another location if you’re losing here. This seems like a better silk. Silks only benefits are multiple kraven triggers and possibly more easily reaching hard to reach locations. C5 on the rise.
Phastos 3 3 On reveal: Give each card in your deck -1 cost or +2 power. Very few decks don’t want their cards cheaper or to have more power. The randomness of this effect can hold it back a bit. In addition, if you don’t play it on turn 3 its much worse. Think this will fit best in silver surfer decks.
Cassandra Nova 3 1 On reveal: Drain 1 Power from each card in your opponent’s deck. How good this card is depends on what drain means. Does it remove a power from each card in opponents deck then add it to this card? Do cards need to have at least 1 power to get drained? If its just drains all cards regardless and add to its power this is really good. If played on 3 this is a 3 7 with your opponent drawing 3 -1 power cards. As such playing it earlier is better and is limited late game. If it works with 0 power cards then korg and rockslide would work well with it.
Sasquatch 6 10 Costs 1 less for each card you played last turn. I like this card a lot in any sort of zoo or bounce deck. Paired with mysterio you can play this turn 3. Then with mysterio out there you already have a 2 cost mockingbird. Can also work with skaar to discount it.
Blink 5 7 On Reveal: Swap the last card you played with a Higher cost card from your deck. I’ve seen some people really hyping this up, but while I’m high on it I don’t think this is busted. You can do some plays like turn a wasp into a doctor doom, but its equally likely to turn into a 1 cost. Thus, it can have some deck building constraints. Also, it is important to know what is left in your deck so cable can mess with it. That being said this is best played with good on reveal cards like: white tiger, thor’s hammer, jubilee.
Gwenpool 4 4 On reveal: Pick a random card in your hand 4 times. Gives + 2 Power each time. This pairs well with any scaling card such as: Ironman, black panther, brood, Sebastian shaw, nimrod, human torch, Deadpool. That being said it being random on what it hits can limit it. It can also bring cards into shang-chi range. Also, unless you play zabu or magik you will only have 2 turns to use that buffed power.
Thena 2 1 After each turn +3 Power if you played (exactly) 2 cards. This can reach crazy power somewhat easily for only 2 cost. The draw back is it can be somewhat clunky to only play 2 cards. You are forced to fill your deck with cheaper cards to work. Good news is this fits right in the hope angela shell doing well now. Like angela is quite worse if drawn later in the game.

2024.05.02 21:30 FnckinWhat78 It’s getting hard for me (F 22) for me to feel happy about achievements with my bf (M 28)

I (22 F) recently have been having a really hard time feeling enjoyment in my life when things come up, my LDR bf (28 M) of 3 almost 4 years, lives in his own house about 5 hours away. He allowed his parents to move into his house about 9-10 years ago and they have refused to move out, his mother hates my guts and we were only able to live together for about 8 months before the mental and verbal abuse from her because to much for me to handle so I left. Before I get into my rant just know he is actively trying to get his parents to leave, he has offered them money to help afford a house (they did buy a house in the Provence they moved from without letting my bf know and the reason they left that Provence in the first place was because his moms family was extremely toxic and she went through a lot she didn’t deserve) that being said they (I say “they” when it’s really just his mom, not so much his dad) have been purposely making his life a living hell and refusing any help and acknowledge his request to move out. He even found them a perfect rental 5 minutes down the road that he would give them a years rent for and they did nothing but tare it apart verbally and get mad at him. It’s a very very long story but we’re actively working through it as best as we can, the law is most likely going to be involved.
Anyway… Lately I have been finding it very hard to feel happy when things happen. Through my work my manager offered me an amazing position where it lets me travel around my Provence to help animals in need. Obviously I shared this with my bf and he was super happy and supportive but all I could think about the whole time was how much it’s going to suck to have the leave this job to move back in with him when/if his parents decide to leave. His job doesn’t really allow him to move unless it to major cities as he works for a railroad company and their ports are usually in main/vital city locations. Where he lives my job isn’t available as they have a voulenteer ran rescues so my rescue wouldn’t be able to be placed there and there is also one about two hours away. We have talked about moving somewhere I could work but he needs to get more experience in a new position he got at his work to be able to pick where he wants to go.
Not only has getting this job opportunity felt bitter sweet for me but our 4 year anniversary of coming up this August. This relationship has been my longest, the last couple of anniversary’s I’ve been living in my parents basement and we don’t really get to celebrate these things much as he can only come visit once a month. I can’t visit him as his mom still hates me and after being diagnosed with BPD & PTSD from the mental abuse and trauma it’s not something I’m willing to compromise on. That being said, we have worked trough a lot together, both me and my bf have been to counseling and therapy and we’re working through it. We’ve found out she is extremely narcissistic so after finding that out it’s been easier to deal with things she says. He is the one who mainly deals with everything about her and his mental health has also started deteriorating because of this. He’s started to gain weight (despite going to the gym and eating healthy) and he’s just always frustrated.
Due to how he’s feeling it makes watching him leave that much harder. He leaves and he always gets so angry and upset on his drive home because he just wants nothing but to have me going back with him. I’ve agreed once his parents are out that I will move back in (despite not having a job for me where he lives) but after receiving the new job opportunity I just felt immediate dread cause I have no idea how long it will be before I have to leave. I understand this may sound really dumb but it’s my decision to move back in with him and we’ve talked about me maybe going back to school to upgrade some things and figure it out as it comes. I did have a job at a vet office where he lives but when I left I was also having problems with the practice manager actively trying to fire me and destroy my reputation because one of her friends daughter in laws wanted the position I was in and I was doing well and they had no reason to fire me unless they created the problems (messing up my paperwork, yelling at me infront of all the staff members if I spilt something like my water bottle or getting mad at me for being lazy if I was on my 15 min coffee break not doing anything). When I left it was due to mental health and it was abrupt because that morning I did something that admitted me to the psych ward of the hospital 2 hours away which ended up in me wearing a neck brace for 6-7 months.
But I’ve worked through a lot of that and it’s in my past. It’s getting so heart breaking to watch him leave and see how upset he is. It’s starting to really bug me that things that should be exciting and happy are just becoming neutral and sad. I’ve started to see my PTSD symptoms coming back and I think this may be contributing to how I’m feeling. I just want to know if it’s common to feel this way? I just want to celebrate things with him, I want to walk in the door and just get excited and tell him about things but he’s not here. Sometimes it feels like I’m in a better relationship with my phone than with my bf. Does anyone have any coping mechanisms they use to help them when this feeling comes? I do yoga, I do breathing exercises, lately I’ve been feeling really down so I’ve been slacking on my self care and workouts.
Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you for your time.

2024.05.02 21:07 blit_blit99 Here's a compilation of cases where UFOs used "paralyzing" lights, "solid" lights, "bending" lights, and "tractor beam" lights.

The Tujunga Canyon Abduction Incidents - 1953
Sara would describe stepping into a “solid beam of light” that would lift her “about the same angle as an escalator” but with no steps. The humanoids would examine Sara, using what she believed to be an “X-ray-type device”.
****************
AUGUST 7, 1965, SAN PEDRO DE LOS ALTOS, MIRANDA, VENEZUELA
The object emitted a buzz which was compared with that of a swarm of bees. While making a slow movement of comings and goings, it came down to a distance of more or less 30 meters from the observers, while staying one meter and half above ground-level, without touching the ground. Its diameter was also calculated as being 30 meters. Below the spaceship, a kind of tube of light was projected. At once, when this pipe of light, projected by the lower part of the ship, reached the ground, two humanoids used it to come down, who were dressed in space suits which were a kind of brilliant silver plated blouse. They walked in the direction of the three men.
****************
JANUARY 21, MATIAS-BARBOSA, MINAS GERAIS, BRESIL, ERMINIO AND BIANCA REIS:
It re-ignited suddenly and directed a beam of light towards the car; which died out in its turn while the so-called balloon became motionless. Other version indicate that as the light neared, she screamed, believing it to be a plane about to crash. Her husband, now awake, had no time to say a word, as they felt a strange feeling of weightlessness, a sort of vacuum, and were "absorbed", still inside their car, into a bright beam of light, as if through a chimney, and into a kind of brightly lit circular garage.
***************
SEPTEMBER 23, 1978, VIEDMA, RIO NEGRO, ARGENTINA, CARLOS ACEVEDO AND MIGUEL ANGEL MOYA:
The light was now occupying the entire rear-view mirror and continued approaching at high speed, until the interior of the Citroën was filled with light. Acevedo reported what happened then:
"The light flooded the interior completely, and I couldn't see any farther than the hood of the car. It was very dense and bright, and its color was yellowish with a violet tint. At that moment the car seemed to be out of control. I looked through the window and saw that we were about two meters off the ground. I immediately thought that we had hit something, flying into the air, and started getting ready for the moment when the car would hit the road again."
But the car, instead of descending, seemed to continue its ascent out of control. Acevedo told:
"After a few seconds, perhaps 5 or 10, I realized that all that was completely abnormal. I tried to look out the window again but the only thing that I could see was that dense light. I remember that I started to shout 'What's the matter?,' but Moya didn't respond. When I looked to my right he wasn't there, or at least I couldn't see him. I couldn't even see the dashboard. I could only see the light, dense, it seemed like liquid, I don't know, kind of sticky."
(snip)
A few seconds later, the light retracted bottom to top, and the only thing that was left in view was a white / yellowish light, oval in shape, that continued its west heading until it disappeared in the distance."
****************
JULY 11, 1978, ALTO DA MOOCA, SAO PAOLO, BRAZIL, A WOMAN:
The humanoid closest to her caressed her head, while the other floated towards the UFO. The humanoid that had been standing next to her floated to the door of the UFO and removed an aluminum container from his belt. The container illuminated the yard in a bizarre yellow "coherent" light that appeared solid. The beam of light would enlarge, then decrease in size intermittently. The beam of light was directed towards the kitchen area, the yard and into the landed UFO.
(snip)
During the encounter, the woman perceived a total silence in the area, like a vacuum. Also during the encounter, she perceived a strong smell resembling ammonia and felt extremely cold.
*******************
October 1969 Enrique Castillo, Bogotá, Colombia:
The ships hovered about 100 meters from where I was. One of them silently moved behind the other. Now there was no more light, just a small halo surrounding the closest one [which] approached . . . Moving slowly and swaying slightly from side to side . . . it shot downwards two beams of light, strong orange in color [which] do not radiate like regular light does. [Later] I saw how the beams of light retracted until reaching the bottom of the craft, apparently ‘absorbed’, or reeled in. Two silhouettes slid down the beams until they disappeared behind the trees . . . A crackling of branches [and] dry leaves announced the arrival of the two beings.
(snip)
From the ship above, the orange light-beam was projected, which surrounded me about one meter around. I noticed how small leaves and dirt particles on the ground jumped at the contact with the light. A prickly sensation was felt through my whole body and my brain, like pins being stuck into my skin. I left the ground and slowly ascended. When the tips of the trees were passed, I could see the lake. I went up about 50 meters, feeling a terrible ‘vacuum’ sensation in my stomach. I moved my right hand, nervously, and felt that the light was ‘solid’, like glass . . . I kept on moving upwards. A gate opened above me, I entered, and the light ray softly dropped me onto the floor of the ship . .
(snip)
Castillo was astonished to discover that the craft had been in flight all the time he had been on board. He had felt nothing at all. ‘They took me to a special panel, where a visor opened like the lids of an eye, revealing a concave screen. I sat in front of the visor, on a fixed chair. One of my companions, who was operating the controls, adjusted them and invited me to look through them . . . I moved them somewhat, until I could see with perfect clarity . . .’ What he saw was his own house. I was dumbfounded; it was a sort of telescope, incorporating a beam of light, capable of penetrating the roofs and walls of buildings. I could see my family sleeping, and the dog seemed to notice something, barking and moving about nervously . . . When I moved the levers the wrong way, a neighbor’s house became visible . . . We kept on going at a steady speed. I could identify 68th Avenue, a major thoroughfare in Bogotá .

1969, Oscar Bowles, a wealthy Bolivian businessman:
The disc stopped, hovered momentarily, and flashes of white light emitted from its underside like electricity jumping a gap, striking the sheep. This happened about 30 times in quick succession, and the sheep fell to the ground. As Stevens relates: As it became apparent that the flock was the target of interest, the shepherd picked up a stick and, raising it, started to run toward the slowing, shiny metallic disc. With his first threatening motion of raising the club, there was a flash of violet light and he suddenly was unable to continue the motion. It was like he was immersed in molasses. He could barely move, and then very slowly. He could roll his eyes and look around. He saw his helpers apparently in the same kind of paralysis . . . The stricken sheep did not move. As he watched, the silver disc-shaped craft, with a shiny dome on top, descended still more,

1977 Columbia, South America
THE CURTAIN OF SILENCE
The craft reported at this time appeared to witnesses in different shapes and sizes; often shaped like helicopters or ray fish. Beams of light which emitted from them were capable of penetrating solid matter, such as the roofs of houses, and of targeting and paralysing people. By October 1977, the populace was thoroughly alarmed, particularly in Vigia, as this news report confirms:
*************
Pauline Delcour-Min, England, 1964 & 1996
Once at home, with Paulinne under regression, details of the journey to Scotland emerged. Paulinne recalled that as they drove along the road a “beam of light that slants diagonally from behind us” appeared. Within moments, they had driven directly into it causing the vehicle to be “drawn into it” and into the air. She further described it as being like a “tractor beam” and that upon entering it they were “frozen” and that “time had stopped” for the couple.
****************
The Buff Ledge Abduction 7th August 1968
The craft now moved directly overhead, and shot a beam at Michael and Janet. Grabbing Janet's shoulder, Michael pulled both of them on their backs on the dock. Suddenly, Michael was overcome with the fear of being kidnapped. He remembers screaming, "We don't want to go!" The light from the beam was so bright that Michael recalls being able to see the bones in his hand, like an X-ray. The two teenagers both later related that the beam had a "liquid" feeling to it, and gave them the sense of free floating.

1973, The Doraty Abduction, Houston, Texas
Some of Sprinkle's hypnosis session is included below:
Sprinkle asks, "Is there anyone around you?" There was this long, almost forty-five-second pause, and then she said: "two little men."
"[The two beings) were about three and a half to four feet tall; grey creatures with large egg-shaped heads."
"It's like a spotlight shining down on the back of my car. And it's like it has substance to it. I can see an animal being taken up in this. I can see it squirming and trying to get free. And it's like it's being sucked up."
***************
Brazilian Island of Colares - UFO Encounters of 1977
In describing their experiences with these light beams, most victims claimed that "They were immediately immobilized, as if a heavy weight pushed against their chest. The beam was about [seven or eight centimetres] in diameter and white in color. It never hunted for them but hit them suddenly.
"When they tried to scream, no sound would come out, but their eyes remained open. The beam felt hot, 'almost as hot as a cigarette burn,' barely tolerable. "After a few minutes the column of light would slowly retract and disappear." Most symptoms usually disappeared after seven days. "
(snip)
One night several months later, on May 24 1978, a journalist and photographer, who had been sent to cover the local UFO encounters, were in their car when despite the heavy rain they were woken up "by a powerful beam of light which however unbelievable, it may seem passed through the metallic structure of the roof of the vehicle."
Not surprisingly they leapt out of the car to see that "a tube-shaped light beam, about [twenty-five centimetres] in diameter, was coming down from above onto the roof of the car and passing through the metal panelling."
On this and other occasions, they managed to take numerous photographs which they claim that their newspaper later sold to "a North-American group."
On another night while trying to use flash equipment to photograph one of these craft "the UFO emitted such a vivid beam of light that it smashed the windscreen" of their car. (Giese, 1996)

Denise Stoner , West Virginia - 1982
As she lay in bed in her room, a bizarre entity suddenly appeared as it walked right through the wall (we should note this is a detail of entities appearing through walls is found in many other similar encounters). She would claim to The Boston Globe that the entity “looked like a monk, he had a robe and was carrying a light”. The entity held its hand out toward her for her to take it. As she felt no fear, she did so, and they proceeded to walk out into the hallway. The figure lifted the light it was carrying and pointed it directly at the wall and then walked into it and disappeared. The next thing she knew she was inside a “large, dome-shaped room” and there were lots of other children around her.

Gösta Karlsson UFO encounter - Sweden 1946
Years later, Gösta Karlsson described the object he saw to the Swedish ufologist Klas Svan:
“It was shaped like a disk and stood on two telescopic supports.
(snip)
On top of the cockpit, there was something thick, like a periscope four meters high. It had that bright purple light source that caught my attention. Light along a strange curved trajectory softly enveloped the entire object and pulsed slightly like water in a fountain.
The air smelled strongly of ozone.

April 4th, 1966 - Location: Burkes Flat, Victoria, Australia
Then gradually the top seemed to come to meet the bottom, They seemed to close in, making a transition of one light oval, similar to first view, everything then just disappeared. The last thing Sullivan saw of the light display was just a spot on the ground, a light spot, become smaller and smaller, to nothing.
Meanwhile, as he was driving, he observed that his car headlight beams suddenly appeared to be pointing in a direction off to the right in the direction of the strange light display and also seemed to be, bending back on an axis with the object in the pasture. As he got closer, the angle of bending of his cars headlight beams became more acute.

1949, Norwood, Ohio Searchlight UFO Incident
An additional photo was found in the possession of RAY STANFORD, who states: "This is several generations down from the original16 mm movie film, but it seems to rather clearly show that while the beam was projecting several degrees away from the object, when it got within a certain event horizon of the object, it was simply bent or 'pulled' the beam directly into the object, seemingly bending it about 26.5 degrees, as measured in the photo plane! This frame has always amazed me since I first saw it in the mid-'50s. Several persons, back then, who had seen the actual movie said that at one time the object seems, indeed, to 'suck' the beam squarely into it!

‘Piedro Viera 12 January 1997 Puerto Rico:
...an extraordinary mutilation case that occurred in Puerto Rico, the initial stages of which were witnessed by a security guard and former police officer, ‘Piedro Viera’, who recounted to Jorge Martín and me that while driving in the small hours of 12 January 1997 he had seen a large circular object coming from the direction of the El Yunque Rain Forest, then hovering above some cows in a pasture. A blue-green conical beam of light came down from the craft and engulfed two of the cows, one of which was ‘levitated’ towards the craft. ‘The cow vanished suddenly when it was about five feet from the underside,

Nov. 08, 1954 dusk. La Tessoualle (France):
Andre Chaillou felt pricklings in his hands, "in spite of his gloves," when a blue disk came close to his motorcycle and his electrical system failed. He was unable to move or articulate a word for several minutes. As soon as the blue light was turned off, he started again and went near the light when it reappeared 200 m away. He saw the object, a cone 5.5 m in size, rise vertically with a soft whistling, then fly horizontally to the north. (98)

Sep. 10, 1954 Quarouble (France):
A metal worker, Marius De-wilde, 34, came out of his house as a dog was barking and saw a dark object on the railroad tracks, then observed two dwarfs walking toward it. When he tried to stop them, he found himself paralyzed as a strong orange light was projected at him. The creatures were under 1 m tall, bulky, and wore dark diving suits. No face or arms were visible. Traces made by an object of estimated weight 30 tons were noted by French Air Force and police on the ballast.

1965 — A couple is driving on a country road in Buenos Aires province, Argentina, when their car engine begins to fail, so they pull over in front of a tree. They notice an object behind the tree that emits a luminous ray toward them that bends at three places, vertically and horizontally, to avoid the tree. The woman’s cheek feels as if something is probing her.

During the encounter, the woman perceived a total silence in the area, like a vacuum. Also during the encounter, she perceived a strong smell resembling ammonia and felt extremely cold.

A gate opened above me, I entered, and the light ray softly dropped me onto the floor of the ship . .

2024.05.02 20:58 blit_blit99 Here's a compilation of cases where UFOs used "paralyzing" lights, "solid" lights, "bending" lights, and "tractor beam" lights.

The Tujunga Canyon Abduction Incidents - 1953
Sara would describe stepping into a “solid beam of light” that would lift her “about the same angle as an escalator” but with no steps. The humanoids would examine Sara, using what she believed to be an “X-ray-type device”.

A few seconds later, the light retracted bottom to top, and the only thing that was left in view was a white / yellowish light, oval in shape, that continued its west heading until it disappeared in the distance."

2024.05.02 20:33 MarvinStraightAF Surfing questions

My buddy is letting me hold his surfboard while he lives in a landlocked community and I had a few questions about the surfing here being that I’m fairly new to the area and the sport:
  1. When does it become warm enough to go without a hood and booties? I have a wetsuit that me friend left (middle thickness, not sure the scale for that) and he was saying that I should get some booties and a hood if I’m going to be going anytime soon. I want to try to learn before it gets super crowded everywhere but I can see freezing temperatures getting pretty discouraging during the learning process
  2. If I need them, where should I go to get them and when are the best discounts happening?
If you have any other general recommendations or wisdom you’d give to a beginner Maine surfer I would love to hear it!

2024.05.02 20:29 SomeMockodile What value does hook escape attempt even add to the game that isn't negative? Why is this mechanic still in the game?

No, I'm serious. It's no secret that playing solo survivor or killer is detrimentally impacted to an extreme degree this patch, I feel like in over half my games (as killer and solo queue survivor) a survivor will just give up in the first minute or two of the match, usually through going to stage 2 immediately. Personally, I don't understand why these players don't just DC instead of making the game a 3 vs 1, as most of the other players in your game will prefer having a bot to nothing, and the dc penalty is quite low for the first 2 DCs you have a day (and personally I think if you DC more than 2 times a day then you should probably just not play the game as much).
But then I thought about it after watching for a 3rd game in a row of a survivor giving up immediately and making the game a 3 vs 1 at 5 gens. What do hook escape attempts ACTUALLY add to the game? This mechanic has always been flawed, but in the modern state of the game there's really only 2 actually useful purposes for this mechanic to exist. It's whenever either people run slippery meat and luck offerings and there's a solid chance most players in a trial can unhook when they want to, or it's usefulness if there are 2 players remaining and the other survivor is being chased by the killer and cannot unhook you and you happen to kobe on the miniscule chance that you can. When was the last time either situation actually occurred in one of your matches?
New players I see constantly think that attempting to escape off the hook is an effective method of getting back into the game, so it's effectively a noob trap for new players, and detrimentally impacts them. For advanced players, Hook escape attempts are used a "go next" option that isn't a DC to just circumvent the DC Penalty. I've heard BHVR employees say "Well, we can't make survivors stay in the game if they don't want to play", which is true. But then just encourage them to DC instead of giving up in the game? In most situations, I would rather have a teammate who is a bot just to maybe do 1 generator or waste a minute of the killer's time as the killer removes them from the game, as an alternative to just not having a teammate at all because someone went down after 45 seconds to a wraith.
And the worst part is, that I see a decent amount of the community actively defend the mechanic, saying that giving up and screwing over your teammates when they want to play the game is completely justifiable. "Oh, it's a nurse/blight? Give up. Legion game? Not fun to mend, justified giving up. Killer brought 4 slowdown perks? Give up. Survivor teammate took me to a map I didn't like? Give up." Many people who play this game only have a few hours of playtime a day at most, possibly even a few times a week with jobs or educational requirements. If my only experience playing dead by daylight has over half my games where the game is essentially unwinnable after a minute into the match, discounting queue times and such, why would I ever justify queueing up as a solo survivor during my free time? And it's much more common people will give up early than DC and give you a bot teammate who will at least play better than half of my teammates in solo queue.
However, I don't like saying "just remove it" without offering a gameplay alternative that also includes a potential rework. How about If you want unhook attempts to be actually meaningful instead of just removing the feature, instead consider an alternative: players get a maximum of 3 (5 with slippery meat) free unhook attempts per game, but these attempts do not progress the sacrifice rate and you can now attempt to self unhook in stage 2. Then it becomes a secondary resource survivors can attempt to use strategically on the small chance it works rather than used as a "go next" feature. Then it would actually be a skill expressive aspect to the game that a survivor can attempt to utilize to save time for teammates. It would result in scenarios where the killer would hook someone and this person would immediately break off the hook 2 seconds later, but would this really be a game ruining problem like the current system?

2024.05.02 20:06 Emberashn A Practical Living World on Tabletop - Elaborating on Ken Levine's "Narrative Legos"

For some more indepth looks at what this is and how it came to be, even if they're mildly outdated, check the link below.
Clicky Here

To give a broad overview, I ended up watching Ken's GDC Talk on his Narrative Legos idea some time ago, and obviously, it spoke to me. Emergent Narrative as a concept is something I was already interested in, and Ken's idea seemed like a clear pathway to it.
Particularly because, when we look at the broader scope of games that have tackled that concept, a lot of them actually have a lot in common. Idk if Ken knows it now, but from my perspective his Narrative Legos isn't all that far off from what the Nemesis system is doing, and both aren't that far off from what something totally systemic, like Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld, is doing.
But the thing is, while the ideas of all these games speak to me, I'm designing for tabletop. I don't have the benefit of a computer simulation, and also have to contend with a number of issues with tabletop RPGs in general, not the least of which is the practicality of running systems like these. (Never mind the instantaneous prejudice that comes out as soon as I mention video game design)
How I squared that problem is whats detailed in the linked posts, and you'll also find some PDFs in there of some formalized rules, as well as a rudimentary play example to illustrate some things.

To TL;DR the whole thing, I collapsed the Narrative Legos idea into something that delivers a practical Living World system to tabletop; just needs a Calendar.
To try and go through the current state of it, though, much of the system is still rooted in how Levine originally presented his idea. "Stars", which I currently call Keeper Characters, or KC's for short, collectively act as both a combined personality for generic NPCs and as a sort of logic for how Cities behave as a group and interact with the Players.
I expanded this though, dubbing that collective purpose "Culture", and upped it to two tiers where entire Regions have their own Culture made up out of the commonalities between all the Cities and individiual KCs (eg, KC Adventurers, evil doers, etc) within it.
To drive KC behavior, we still have the Passions, but also a second level in "Motivations". Motivations are used to build up dynamic Passions as the game progresses, but also serve as the first line of KC behavior.
For Motivations specifically, I actually inadvertently reinvented the Personality system that the Pendragon TTRPGs use, funnily enough by working backwards from what Bannerlord and Warband did in a much less comprehensive way. (And in fact I'm convinced Taleworlds got it from Pendragon originally, or they reinvented it like I did)
By doing that though, it also solves a couple other issues, namely Reactivity, which is a big big big thing about these kinds of systems, as well as squaring how social mechanics work on tabletop when we're assuming people want their improv to matter and not be wasted. And theough these, we also fulfill the Macro bar, with disposition towards players (or each other) being handled through Motivations.
Player's don't have prescribed personalities, but Reputations that they accumulate through their actions. These Reputations then pull double duty as Personality Traits for KCs, and through this combination, we gain a lot of fidelity in terms of how KCs can behave and how they'll react to certain kinds of player actions.

But, at this stage, we just have the Narrative Legos sans what Ken called the macro bar, IIRC.
We still need something like that, but it was also desirable to be able to integrate more conventional "Adventures" that we see in TTRPGs, and all of that needs to be squared with my specific vision for a sandbox game; agency can only be real if players can fail, and can miss out.
This was the root impetus for how this evolved into a Living World system, and it involves a few solutions working in tandem.

So firstly, the core enabler is my use of Timekeeping through AngryGMs Tension Pool. But also my idea for Quest Blocks. Basically generic stat blocks that detail how specific kinds of quests will progress in stages that I call "Acts".
For example, a basic Assassinate Quest might come in 3 Acts: Track Target, Kill Target, Flee. This would be available to the Keeper as 3 Blocks, which detail the generic requiremenrs to fulfill that act, but would also detail how to handle deviations, and what kinds of quests can be easily integrated. Say Kill Target fails, and the Players Flee, and now the Target is hold up in a fort. This can lead into an Infiltrate Quest.
As a tool, these are going to be highly useful given the sandbox nature of the game. Rather than worry about stopping the game so you can prep, pull up the Blocks and improvise.
But as a mechanic, these become potent for elaborating into what I call Quest Lines; detailed, bespoke adventures that can integrate seamlessly with with the sandbox and the living world.
The idea behind them is, all Quest Lines are written from the assumption that the Players are never involved; including not even witnessing any of the events. So once the Quest Line begins, through whatever trigger, the assumption is that if the players never become involved, then the events of each Act, as they trigger as time progresses, will backfill into the "canon".
They become stories that, if the players go poking around, can learn about what happened.
But through the Quest Blocks, if the players interject at any time, the Keeper will have the tools they need to adapt the Quest Line no matter how that interjection manifests; up to and including completely derailing it.
But what these do in conjunction with the Narrative Legos mechanics, is allow for a gameworld that can solve its own problems. KCs with the right Motivations or Passions can not only generate quests on the fly, but may also be eligible to take up Quests, and as such, Quest Lines will have guidance saying how any KC, or even specific ones, will be involved and what their canon becomes if left undisturbed.
With a combination of a lot of initial seeding, a well developed gameworld, and just time to keep playing, the living world just starts working, and changes over time.
Its often jokingly asked "Who needs players anyway?"...you don't need players to watch this system go to work.

Now all of that is great, but practicality is the issue. How do we make this workable in tabletop, especially for a role that is already heavy as it usually is?
Firstly, a lot of that comes from the games overall philosophy. For one, Keepers don't need to know or internalize the whole game. They don't even need to know how player characters work. They just need to know their role, and thats it. So that collapses a lot of the overhead already, as does the numerous tools and procedures that will be there to guide gameplay.
But secondly, is something I'm pretty proud of: just keep a Calendar.

So lets assume a Keeper is beginning a brand new game, utilizing a pre-made World Builder Book (my version of a setting and adventure book combo). You could just make your own, but thats gonna be some work and will be a different process.
To prep the World, they'd have to Seed the World and fill out the Calendar.
My thinking here, they'll either have their choice of what initial Quest Lines will begin, or they can roll for it, and there will be a number of things they'll be seeding regardless (to foster and reflect already developed relationships between Cultures and KCs).
To do this, for Quest Lines, they'd simply look to the Quest, and see what its Time Die and Time denomination is. Eg, roll 1d8 Weeks. Per the result they'd go to the Calendar and, forward from the starting date, fill in that Quest as triggering its first Act, and then put in the same sort of thing for the next Act, to be rolled at that time.
For other things, like generic Quests that may be running or even just short Quest Lines, they might not have a second Act at all, and might instead just trigger a new Quest, as can the bigger Quest Lines themselves at their end.
Others still will also include a note to check for a KC of a specific KC/Region. What this would mean is that when the Act triggers, the Keeper should also choose or roll for, and then note down that a specific KC is doing the Quest, if any are available that can.
And there will also be cases where there could be multiple outcomes; all of that would be notated on the Calendar, and its just up to the Keeper to update it as time moves along. (And they'd have the flexibility to shift time around as needed so things don't pile up on a single day)
And thats basically it as far as managing the world. Updating KCs themselves, including any dispositions they might have as a result of either Player or other KC Actions, won't be handled until those KCs are interacted with, or the Calendar says to do it as part of an Act resolving. (Eg KC X was the one that slayed Elvarg the Dragon, so once that Act triggers, things would need to be updated for their Culture, which is easy enough)
The final thing Keepers will want to do as part of this, to ensure that the fact that all these things are happening are visible, is follow through on the "World Effects" Quests impose when they finish.
For example, some part of the world might be at war when the game starts, and may be a Month later the Quest Line for that war has progressed to where a City ended up getting destroyed. Refugees could start flooding into other parts of the world, and Keepers will have the mechanics (through an expansion of the Tension Pool mechanics) to introduce these elements to the Players. And of course, they'll have the option to seek rumors just to get an idea of whats going on.

So, taking all that together, it just works. A lot of it is still rough (and I'm guaranteed forgetting a lot that would go into it), and it does need a lot of work to set up (unless you're nuts like me and don't mind improvising literally everything just to test the mechanics).
But! Thats not necessarily a bad thing, as the game is intended to be heavily integrated with its default setting, so a lot of that would be set up for you. For those that would still want to do their own, though, that's an excellent reason to design a book intended for such people.
I'm inevitably going to have a lot of experience by the time I've finished setting up my own world. Translating that experience into a bespoke book so you can set it up step by step is a great opportunity.
And ultimately, its a lot of fun. Part of the goal here is to give the GM of the game more gameplay to engage with that isn't dependent on the Players, and this does a lot for that in tandem with other systems in the game. And, IMO, it should work well to nix the tendency to want to railroad players.
With enough things going on, you and the game will always be telling a story. Even if the players decide to piss off and play pretend Fantasy Bakers.
I(Which this system is actually fantastic for supporting along side the more typical epic fantasy. So much so my game now could be described as a blend of epic fantasy and slice of life)

2024.05.02 19:04 Ok_Patience_968 Boomer refused to let me use a coupon.

So I went to Kohls this morning to buy a few things for my upcoming cruise and for a date(!) I have coming up this Saturday. I had a coupon for 20% off. The boomer at the register rings me up and scans the coupon. No problem. Then she says “Go ahead and insert your Kohl’s card when you’re ready.” I tell her I don’t have a Kohl’s card and I’m using my debit card to pay. She says she can’t let me use the coupon if I don’t have a credit card with Kohl’s.
I politely explained that I’ve used coupons like these many times at Kohl’s and have never had a credit card with them. I even re-read the coupon to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. But, no, I was right. Boomer cashier insists that she won’t let me use the coupon. But she keeps repeating that if I sign up for the credit card I’ll get the same discount. But I repeatedly told her I wasn’t interested. The she rudely asks “Well, what are you going to do?” So I tell her I’ll pay with my debit card and just go up to customer service and have them fix it.
So she rolls her eyes and removes the coupon from my purchase and pretty rudely tells me the total and that I could have saved over $20 if I had just signed up for the card. I payed them immediately went upstairs to customer service and had the woman up there fix it. Even she was puzzled as to why this cashier was so insistent on not letting game use the coupon.
Boomers in customer service jobs are always so fucking rude to customers but they’re the ones complaining about how “millennials” (they think anyone under 55 is a millennial) are entitled and rude.

2024.05.02 18:36 Fast-Ad-2415 How Trickster should be in the future

Here first as usual for comparison, what Tricksters are like currently:
ps://dragonsdogma2.wiki.fextralife.com/Trickster
am done with playing this boring af class, which I did onl,y because I simply cant stand having a Class in the list, thats unmaxed ...and because of Seeker Tokens Help, because thats the only really helpful thing this garbage class is good for - for one single Augment ...
Weapon Skills:
After having experienced first hand, how shitty this class plays, to have a better understanding about, what needs to be changed about it, this is what I'd give the Trickster for 8 Combat Skills
Core Skills:
Here the Trickser needs most rework, because most of this Classes gimmicks shoudl be all Core Skilsl, not Combat Skills, because of how fucking situational they are, that it feels like a huge waste of potential, if you#d put these mechanics into Combat Skill Slots.
Master Skills:
Augments: These 10 Augments would i like them to have
Quick Summary, what did I do here:
