2024.06.02 10:26 Crafty_Chocolate_532 How is everyone so bad at driving here?

Honestly, this is something that baffles me every time I visit. No one seems to have learned how to properly operate a motor vehicle. And I’m not talking about the select few idiots who mistake the road with their private racetrack, you get those everywhere. Everyone‘s indicator lights seem to be broken on 99% of cars because they use it neither to indicate they’re changing lanes or exiting a roundabout, because if you properly learned how to drive, that is just something you do automatically without having to think about. People drive do close to you they could easily count the hair on your back head and would have absolutely no chance to safely come to a stop if someone in front was to have to break suddenly (let’s say a deer jumping across the road). People drive past the speed limit at not only an understandable 10% but at 300% past the limit (and way past what those roads actually support, with massive potholes even on HIGHWAYS). And if you dare to drive a reasonable speed, even past the maximum allowed speed, people angrily honk. I get if you’re gonna break the law and drive too fast, but then HONKING at people who drive at the allowed speed limit? That is honestly infuriating. Going up a mountain road that is limited to 50, I get people coming down at a 100, driving halfway on the opposite side of the road and resulting in an almost certain collision if no avoiding actions were taken. Read somewhere that Italy is leading in deaths per capita caused by road accidents.
Do people really care so little about their lives here? How is there no police taking action against what seems to be a country wide issue.

2024.06.02 10:21 Thin-Plankton-5374 ‘Rising rate’ or ‘non-linear’ lever/linkage - how to design?

I’m looking for suggestions on how to create a linkage that reverses motion and is linear at one end and travels non linearly at the other…
I have a car with a cable operated throttle (a 1998 Lotus Elise). At the throttle body end, the throttle cable is just linked directly to the mechanism that opens the butterflies for each port. There is no sort of ‘cam arrangement” there like you see on old cars with carburettors etc.
At the throttle pedal end, there is a simple ‘reverse motion‘ linkage like this: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/2193/files/linkages_1_480x480.png?v=1680383999
i.e. a simple lever with a pivot in the middle. One end is connected to the throttle pedal (which pulls a short solid bar attached the the linkage and pedal with spherical joints - to allow I guess for the arc’ed path of the fixing on the lever as the pedal is depressed), the other end is connected to the throttle cable. So there is a constant and linear relationship between movement of pedal and travel of throttle cable.
my car has individual throttle bodies which is not the OEM set up. With this throttle system, very small changes in the amount of throttle opening create large changes in air flow volume. The result of this, with the current set up, is that the car is hard to drive smoothly with small throttle openings/light load.
i want to replace or modify the linkage with one that places, say, the first 3rd of the throttle cable travel across the first 50% of pedal travel, and then becomes more sensitive (ie more throttle opening for less pedal travel) in the later portions of the pedal travel. It might be useful to be able to vary this to find a sensible ‘curve’
how do I design a simple reverse motion linkage that is non linear or rising rate at one end?
im not an enginee, but i am scientist (oh dear, you say), i’ve looked at loads of standard linkage designs and a can’t find anything, and I don’t (yet?) understand the principles of linkages to work it out myself! Does anyone have suggestions?
(I don’t want to go to DBW throttles - way too complicated!).

2024.06.02 10:10 Final_Effect8727 ABYG for not saying sorry to my mother

To start, my mother is a housewife and has had abusive (verbal and physical) tendencies to me especially, except for my older sister and brother. I remember when I was young how she would force food in my mouth, and how she slapped me because I didn’t want to eat and how she threw plates at me and told me she didn’t want me as her kid. Even in public, when she’s irritated she would curse at me while other people could hear her. This was my experience with her. I still saw her as a mother because that wasn’t all that happened. There were still very happy moments to which I’m grateful for like how she was the only person to always attend my recognition and graduation. And of course, how she still cared for me as a mother.
But now, unlike the other experiences I mentioned, I cannot find in myself to forgive her. This all started with a disagreement on the situation with my tito (my mother’s brother). For reference, my family pays him to drive me to university, and I wouldn’t say the experience was pleasant since we already had 1 accident (he hit a uv express) last year, and 2 more this year which was how he hit a foodpanda rider and also punched the dashboard of our car which he didn’t even mention to us until we saw it. He is the most unpleasant person to me, as he was a drug pusheuser and a cheater to his wife who is doing dialysis. But you’d be surprised to know that this wasn’t a reason for us to fire him already. My mother maintains that we should still help him even though he just uses his salary for himself since his kids are the ones who pays all the bills and treatment for his wife. Now, he came crying to our house saying that he gambled his cellphone and their jewelry and that pinalayas na siya sa bahay nila ng mga anak niya. My mother was crying saying that his kids shouldn’t have done that. She offered him to stay at our house and pay for the things he gave to gambling. I was disgusted by all of this and I didn’t hide it in my face especially when she was asking money from my dad thru call to pay for my tito’s debt. All I said was “Ma, wag ganyan” to which she hit me for. Things escalated quickly to her saying maldita daw ako and how I have no respect sa mga matatanda. When I didn’t agree with her she proceeded to beat me more (pulling my hair and hitting my head). Out of hurt, I told her “Ayoko na sa’yo, mas kinakampihan mo pa kapatid mo kaysa sa sarili mong anak” Then she proceeded with shouting na “Mas ayaw ko sa’yo” then I told her to stay away from me since she was trying to punch me. But she got angrier when I said that and shouted to me that she wants me to die and “papatayin kita”. This was peak of her emotions and I was bawling my eyes out and said that I won’t ever forget what she said to me. I was struggling with depression and had to be on meds since 2021 because of suicidal thoughts but hearing her say that she wants me to die was heartbreaking since I really tried hard to recover. ABYG for not saying sorry?

2024.06.02 10:05 sugar-soad Catching a killer

For the last ten years I have been hunting a serial killer who has been terrorising our city. We know that they are responsible for well over a dozen eviscerated corpses.
Every crime scene is almost identical to the last. They always seem to target loners who live by themselves. They torture their victims by slowly eating then alive over the course of two to three days.
They never seem to care about cleaning up the crime scene afterwards, as they always leave behind tons of fingerprints. They draw random images using their victims blood to taunt us. The newspapers think that there is a hidden message in these images but I know it is nonsense.
I ran their fingerprints through our system and was beyond irritated when I got no results. It has become my obsession to catch this killer as I want to be regarded as a hero.
I was the first on the scene as a worried woman reported that she heard screams coming from her downstairs neighbour.
I kicked in her apartment door to discover the killer sitting on their latest victim and feasting on their intestines.
They raised their head and smiled at me as blood dripped from the edge of their mouth. Relief and confusion surged through me as I dragged him off his latest victim .
I led them to the back of my squad car while ignoring the laughs from the onlookers.
We arrived at the station and I held my head up high as I marched him into the station and began processing him. My sergeant came over and tried to tell me to go home, but I shrugged him off as I wanted to do this myself.
I could hear my colleagues calling me crazy but I didn't care as I finally caught him. I could see the look of shock and horror when I showed my sergeant that the fingerprints matched the other murder scenes.
He had me run them through again as he couldn't quite believe it, but they came up with the same results. My gaze shifted to our killer sitting in the cell as the other inmates rubbed and tickled his belly.
I knew he would probably get away with this as no court in this country would ever prosecute him. I stared into his furry little face while trying to explain to my bewildered sergeant that koala bears also leave behind fingerprints.

2024.06.02 10:01 papercup57 Dreams that felt too real.

2nd June 2024 11:45am
Work has been a little hectic lately, but my body can't sleep past 530 in the morning which adds to my lack of decent sleep to fully recover. It's a Sunday and I've been awake from 5 in the morning and decided to not get up and just lay on the bed. I know I'm tired, my body knows it's been stretched for a little too long so I decide to take the day slow. I somehow dozzed off after sometime and fell into a deep slumber.
Not realising I've fallen asleep I started having a vivid dream where I was driving on the highway, most likely returning from a work trip. I was driving at a decent speed considering it being a highway and the road seems like a familiar stretch, somewhere in a small village about 60 to 90 mins drive from the city. That is when a truck from the opposite side approaches with a wide turn onto my lane, which was on the cliffside of the road and crashed onto the vehicle I'm driving.
I just hold on and felt the scraping and collision of metals on my side. There was nothing I could do for it all happened so quickly and was over in a moment before I could ever react to it. With my senses all numb (probably due to my deep sleep) and being highly disoriented (probably due to the crash) I can clearly recall that the right side of the car was smashed and done for good. I was stuck in the drivers seat, all hazy, heard people screaming in a distance saying, "There's man inside". Someone rushed and tried opening the door to drag me out and there's smoke everywhere. I was terrified and shaken, but felt lucky to be alive with a slight regret of being a little tired. Just as I was about to be dragged out of the card to step out on the road I woke up.
Suddenly, realising it was a dream and considering that I often have extremely tiring journeys waking up from a nap was a huge relief. I sat and contemplated for a while and broke down, not because anything hurts. It overwhelms me on how tired I am and that I have to be on a constant watch, not ever having a moment to sit back and catch my breath. The realisation broke me down, but I was relieved knowing it was a dream.
I realized I was somehow parked facing the direction away from home so I decided to turn around.
I was turning the car around on a curved road with a tiny cottage perched on the slope towards the cliffside of the road and a man pleating bamboo strips on the yard. As I put the reverse on to turn, the rear of the car bump on the cottage which violently shook and almost tumbled down the hill.
This gave me another burst of fear, almost skipped a heartbeat as I watched the cottage shook and almost fall apart.
For the second time, with that sudden fear of closely avoiding another major accident, I woke up again from my sleep; realising that I had been dreaming within my dream. I took a huge breath, gasping a heavy sigh of relief, feeling my tired feet and my sore back resting on the bed.
Inspite of me now realising that it was a dream, I can still feel my heart beating really fast and my hands and feet still trembling from the shock of colliding with a truck.
It sure is amazing how our mind works and how amazingly real our dreams can feel.

2024.06.02 09:50 Frosty-Grapefruit770 Got broken up with two days ago.

His (20m) mother had gotten into a car accident and broke a few ribs (luckily those were the only injuries). This happened at the beginning of the month and ofc I (20f) was there and tried to be a shoulder for him to cry on. But two days ago he sat me down and told me that he needs to take care of his mom and put his time and energy into caring for her. Basically telling me he has no time for me and our relationship anymore. I’m trying to be understanding but tbh I just don’t. I don’t understand why we couldn’t have just taken a break for a month and then revisited instead of just ending it all. Idk it just hurts a lot. He was my first everything so it definitely has an extra punch to the pain and idk how to deal with it at all. I’ve been crying for 2 days straight and I’ve never been one to cry in front of others but as soon as I start to think about him the waterworks become active. I wish I could ignore this pain and find a way to live on faster. I’m also scared that a month will pass and he will text me saying he regrets and then I forgive him. Ik the simple answer is to just not forgive him but I have a lot love for him and what feels like not so much love for myself atp.

2024.06.02 09:48 throwawayyypersonal Life fucking up and telling me to die

Idk man ive somehow not finished my plans of bridges or ropes despite feeling the need to die nonstop consistently for the last year. Always too busy. I tried reaching out to mental health services but was either turned away or unable to access because I'm not rich. Lol therapists I did talk to had no idea what to do with someone so suicidal but not wanting to be when my reasons weren't basic ass Ooo I'm sad and dont know why i hate myself level shit. Was told to walk out or find a specialist which we don't have here. Got turned away multiple times from different places. Even they see me as pointless lol. This week issue with my car ran me 650$ on top of a few hundred more in repair costs . I could still drive where I need to go but it's almost guaranteed death and it's making me think again this week. I have a surefire way to die right infront of me and here I am turning away and losing a ton of money in the process and for what. I want to die but not in a carcrash you get me? Sitting here like it's one after another after another of life telling me to end it. Lol didn't actually talk about my reasons but do I really need to? The reason is hardly relevant in face of the intended result

Row 7 of the Anime All Stars roster has made it's official debut! Originally, I have replaced a Uzui from KNY and Minato from Naruto for another character. Let's see their replacing characters and the new fighters. Since they're new, there is a description on their moves.
Row 7 will now feature the next wave of expansion fighters.
114. Bu-Ling Huang / Mew Pudding (Tokyo Mew Mew)
Neutral: PuRing Ring Warp
Mew Pudding begins to twirl around leaving a trail of yellow pudding which damages the opponent. The move can be charged and does more attack damage if charged. Similar to Pyra's Neutral Special, Flame Nova in Smash.
Side: Ribbon PuRing Swing
Mew Pudding leaps forward and grabs the enemy slapping and punching them. (This is similar to Diddy Kong's Side Special in Smash). Press the button again to cancel the attack.
Up: Jello Trampoline
Mew Pudding will summon a trampoline shaped like jello which bounces her to new heights. it falls if used in the air but sticks if used on the ground. Like Sonic's Spring Jump in Smash.
Down: Jello Prison
Mew Pudding uses her PuRing Rings to play a melody, then unleashes a blast of yellow energy which encases the enemy in a force field similarly shaped like jello.
Final Smash: Ribbon PuRing Ring Inferno
Mew Pudding Mew Pudding performing a series of acrobatic flips, kicks and somersaults before summoning a tambourine and a bell on a ring. She taps them together, performing a melody in the air. Her Mew Mark glows and she brings the instruments down, unleashing a blast of yellow energy which encases the enemy in a force field similarly shaped like jello. The jello force field will then explode launching the opponents captured.
115. Kakashi Hatake (Naruto) (Replacing Uzui)
Neutral: Lightning Blade
Kakashi pulls out a Kunai Spear then runs forward with his right hand shrouded in blue electricity. When they get close enough, they drive their hand into the opponent's middle, blasting them away.
Side: Kamui Shuriken
Kakashi throws a barrage of shuriken at his opponent in a radial pattern, creating an explosion after a second. Charging the technique increases the damage output, even when blocked.
Up: Water Style Geyser
Kakashi erupts the floor with a giant geyser that helps him get lifted up to new heights.
Down: Lightning Style Shadow Clone
Kakashi enters a counter stance where he reads a Make-Out series novel. If the opponent hits them during that time, they fake them out with a Lightning Style Shadow Clone, then they use Earth Style: Mud Wall Jutsu, to lift the opponent up, then finish them with Water Style Giant Vortex Jutsu.
Final Smash: Kamui Lightning Blade
Kakashi pulls out a Kunai and charges a Lightning Blade then rushes at his opponent. If he connects, he launches them up with his attack, activates his Susano'o and obliterate his caught opponent with a stronger Lightning Blade, dubbed the Kamui Lightning Blade.
116. Himura Kenshin (Samurai X/Ruroni Kenshin)
Neutral: Nine-Headed Dragon Flash
Kenshin flies forward while holding a sword. If they connect, blue afterimages follow behind them and strike the opponent, blasting them back.

Kenshin charges a dash attack. If fully charged, he phases through the enemy which slashes with the kanji showing on the hit opponent. (Similar to Ike's Side Special; Quick Draw in Smash Bros)
Up: Tsui-sho Sen
Kenshin will slash upward. If the button is pressed after the uppercut slash, he will dive downward. The downward slash has a meteor effect.
Down: Counter
Kenshin enters a counter stance. If he gets attacked, he will open his sword and give a payback slash. Depending on how much damage the enemy attack does, Kenshin's counter will give the counter attack a multiply by 1.3%.
Final Smash: Godspeed Flash of the Heavenly Flying Dragon
Kenshin runs at the opponent at high-speed. If they connect, they slash the opponent once to stun them, then charges another to cut them to the floor.
117. Armin Arlert (Attack on Titan)
Neutral: Double Sword Slash
Armin jumps up and slashes down with both Ultrahard steel blades.
Side: Barrel Roll
Armin uses his Ultrahard steel blades to barrel roll. This move is similar to Mii Swordfighter's Airbone Assault move in Smash Bros.
Up: ODM Gear Hook.
Armin will use either one or both wire hooks to help him hook onto the ledge. He can use it on ceiling's, walls, and opponents.
Down: Ultrahard steel blade change.
Armin's Ultrahard steel blades have a durability limit live Steve's tools in Smash Bros. But unlike Steve where the tool's limit are seen when they break, Armin has a gauge telling the sword's durability limit. Some attacks will be less effective without the blades.
Final Smash: Green Smoke Assault.
Armin fires a green smoke shot from his gun to signal five allies to help attack his opponent. One of them is Sasha Braus. After the assault concludes, Armin pulls out a thunder spear to obliterate the opponent.
118. Gray Fullbuster (Fairy Tail)
Neutral: Ice Super Freeze Arrow.
Gray makes a Ice Bow and Arrow from his ice molding magic. It's similar to Byleth's Neutral Special in Smash. Pressing the button does little damage, but holding down will charge up the arrow and pierce through his opponent launching or freezing them. The latter of which will see them frozen in ice. Just like in Smash, the more damage they have, the longer they will stay frozen.
Side: Crescent Blades.
Gray summons crescent like boomerangs that he throws. It's like Min Min's neutral special where she throws Ramram where they return after a brief distance.
Up: Ice Grappling Hook.
Gray makes a grappling hook out of his molding ice which he can use to recover from the stage. It will work like Byleth's Up Special in Smash. If he grabs a curved ceiling, he will jump off of it, and grabbing an opponent will see him propel himself and bounce off their heads with a meteor spike occurring in the process.
Down: Ice Devour.
Just like with Natsu where he eats fire to replenish his power and even heal himself, Gray will open his mouth to try and eat ice attacks. Said ice users like Todoroki (MHA), and Esdeath (Akame Ga Kill), are at a huge disadvantage against Gray. If he eats an ice projectile, he will replenish his Ice Magic and take away some damage.
Final Smash: Lost Ice Shell
Gray will use his finishing attack, Lost Iced Shell where he casts himself in an circular ice shell. However, the shell will break if Gray dosen't capture anyone on the initial hit. But if he does, he freezes them. If they're over 100%, they're chilled to the bone...
119. Rikka Takanashi (Love Chuunibyou and Other Delusions)
Neutral: Umbrella Barrage / Dark Matter Blaze
Umbrella Barrage: Rikka strikes 10 times with an Umbrella. / Dark Matter Blaze: When her Banishment of this World gauge is filled, Rikka fires a huge magical ball that knocks her opponents away.
Side: Slide / Mana Blast
Slide: Rikka slides like Mega Man's down tilt in Smash where she trips her opponent. Leaving them prone to followup attacks. / Mana Blast: When her Banishment of this World gauge is filled, Rikka now fires 3 to 6 energy blasts with little to medium damage and knockback.
Up: Umbrella Leap / Kanntwinkle
Rikka leaps up with her Umbrella which reduces falling like Peach and Daisy's up special in Smash. / Kanntwinkle: When her Banishment of this World gauge is filled, Rikka dashes upward and fires three energy balls depending on the stick's direction.
Down Chuuni-Charge / Magic Selection
Rikka will get super armor and will not get knocked back from heavy attacks. Every hti fills up her Banishment of this World gauge like Joker's Rebel's Guard in Smash Bros. / Magic Selection: When her Banishment of this World gauge is filled, Rikka will choose between three moves: 1. Maximum Shield, Makes a 5 second shield. She can't move in the process like Hero's Kaclang move in Smash. 2. Bash, Swings her powered up weapon, Konigin der Nacht onto the ground damaging opponent critically like Hero's Hatchet Man move in Smash. And 3. Schwarz Shield; Rikka enters a counter stance. If someone hits her, she will hit back.
Final Smash: True Banishment of this World
Rikka summons Yuuta Togashi as both raise their hands to combine their power mixed with dark magic fire and mana to make a giant vortex.
120. Tsuyu Asui (My Hero Academia)
Neutral: Frog Leap
Tsuyu winds up and lunges at the enemy player to kick them.
Side: Frog Arrow
Tsuyu rapidly extends her tongue in a straight line, damaging and knocking away (or just staggering if the enemy is using a yellow attack) any enemy struck by it.
Up: Froppy Hopper / Tongue Hook
Asui has two up specials for recovery like Min Min in Smash. Froppy Hopper sees Asui using her frog-like body to hop to extreme heights. This move can only be done on the ground. If she's in the air, she will use her tongue instead.
Down: Toxic Mucus
Asui will barf out a toxic sludge from her mouth. If it makes contact with an opponent, they will slowly take damage. The effect lasts for 8 seconds.
Final Smash: Frog Dash
Just like Her Level 2 Plus Ultra move in My Hero One's Justice, Tsuyu launches herself towards the enemy player and slams her feet into them. She will then kick her target away only to pull them back in with her tongue, rapidly spin them around, then smash them into the ground.
121. Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach)
Neutral: First Dance, White Moon
Rukia steps forward to slash the opponent. If they connect, a pillar of ice will shroud the enemy before breaking, causing a hard knockdown.
If the move does not connect, a ring of icy energy will be placed behind the user in its place, acting as a trap that stays for 5 seconds.
Side: Next Dance, Hakuren
Rukia takes a stance and charges her beam in their sword, then stabs the air, creating a stream of ice stalagmites.
This technique can be charged. The longer it's charged the beam will pierce through.
Up: Rukia infuses her sword with icy energy. For the following 15 seconds, all her sword attacks have the added Ice element. She then uppercuts with her sword which is useful for recovery to the stage.
Down: White tree
Rukia will grow roots from her sword that scatter through the ground.
Final Smash: Bankai: White Haze Punishment
Rukia takes a stance, then fires a beam of icy energy at her opponent. If it connects without blocking, the opponent is frozen over in a long strip of ice, and she then transforms into her Bankai State
122. Ryo Saeba (City Hunter)
Neutral: Quickshot
Ryo shoots his opponent with his revolver.
Holding the energy charge button makes him fire up to 3 times, at the cost of extra stocks.
Side: Bullseye
Ryo shoots his opponent with his revolver up to 2 times.
The first shot can break an opponent's guard, and the second shot is guaranteed damage.
Up: Grenade
Ryo pulls out a grenade and throws it down to help him get blown up to new heights at the cost of taking some damage in return.
Down: Double Rocket Launcher.
As the name suggests, Ryo pulls out a pair of rocket launchers, and fires them. The rockets travel up, then at the opponent.
Holding the energy charge button simply delays the move.
Final Smash: X-Y-Z
Ryo fires a bazooka at his opponent. If it connects without blocking, he pulls up in his red car, rolls out and fires at a trio of explosive barrels in the air, alongside his opponent, which makes them explode.
123. Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh)
Neutral: Saggi the Dark Clown
Kaiba summons Saggi the Dark Clown. Although this monster lacks attacks damage, Kaiba will use his negative energy card, a Magic Card, to multiply Saggi's attack points by 3 and attacks with Dark Light.
Side: Judge Man
Kaiba will summon the Judge Man. He bangs on the ground causing the ground to shake, tripping his opponents.
Up: Blue Eyes Shining Dragon
Kaiba will call his Blue Eyes Shining Dragon to ride on his back and take him to new heights.
Down: My Turn!
Kaiba draws a card from his deck. Here, he can use these moves that go around like a pattern:
1: Crush Card Virus: Kaiba fires 2 balls of dark magic. 2: Ring of Destruction: Kaiba drops an explosive ring on the opponent. 3: Shadow Spell: Kaiba creates an Area of Effect that has purple clouds rain down electricity on the opponent.
Final Smash: Triple Burst Stream
Kaiba will summon all three of his Blue Eyes White Dragons to merge as one and become the "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon". he will then use it to fires three burst streams to destroy the opponent.
124. Minto Aizawa / Mew Mint (Tokyo Mew Mew)
Neutral: MinTone Arrow
Mew Mint uses her signature weapon, the MinTone Arrow, to fire an arrow shaped like a feather.
Side: MinTone Boomerang
Mew Mint throws her MinTone Arrow like King K Rool's side special, Crownerang in Smash. Unlike said move, it comes back instead of landing on the ground and becoming an item.
Up: MinTone Arrow Hook
Mew Mint turns MinTone Arrow into a grappling hook where chains resemble feathers.
Down: Mew Aqua Drop
Mew Mint trades her MinTone Arrow for the Mew Aqua Rod and enters a counter stance. If attacked, she uppercuts with the Mew Aqua Rod and switches back to her MinTone Arrow usage.
Final Smash: Ribbon Mint Echo
Mew Mint is seen summoning a bow and arrow out of a windy burst of feathers, charging up a shock-wave, and releasing it into a light pink blade of energy.
125. Teru Momijiyama / Shy (Shy)
Neutral: Flame Bracelet Shot
Shy will use her Heart-Shift Bracelets to fire flames which damage the opponent.
Side: Heart-Shift Bracelet flash
Shy will prepare to dash with her fist ready. It's like Mii Swordfighter's Gale Strike move in Smash.
Up: Bracelet uppercut
Shy uppercuts with her Bracelet leaving a trail of fire
Down: Heart-Shift Counter
Shy will make an X shape with her arms in a guarding position. If someone gets her, she will unleash a flame wall.
Final Smash: One Stroke
Shy crosses her arms, only to open them and unleash a wave of powerful flames against her opponent.
126. Crona Gorgon (Soul Eater) (Replacing Minato. I felt like we should have 2 Soul Eater reps after Maka)
Neutral: Black Blood
Crona will punch the ground and black goo will go out and turn into spikes.
Side: Bloody Needle
Crona uses her Black Blood to turn them into needles, usually to surprising the opponents and skewer them.
Up: Black Blood Wings
Crona will grow wings from her back to fly to new heights. Like Pit's Power of Flight in Smash. It can't do damage but is useful for recovery.
Down: Black Blood Vines.
Crona will use her Black Blood to makes vines and use them to poke out of the ground. If done in the air, Crona will instead use the vines to spike his opponent.
Final Smash: Scream Resonance
A special type of Soul Resonance that functions ordinarily like usual Soul Resonance, except that the result instead is a high pitch scream that gives Crona's weapon (such as Ragnarok) increased cutting power through vibrations.
127. Arthur Boyle (Fire Force)
Neutral: Plasma Sword Shake
Arthur uses his plasma sword to charge up a decisive blow. Similar to Roy's Neutral Special in Smash. The longer it's charged, the more damage it does.
Side: Plasma Sword Strike
Arthur dashes three times with his plasma sword striking forward. It's similar to Sora's Side Special, Sonic Blade in Smash.
Up: Plasma Sword Spin
Arthur will spin around and be lifted to the sky. It's like Sora's up special, Aerial Sweep in Smash. He will be lifted up no matter if he's on the ground of air..
Down Special: Plasma Counter
Arthur enters a counter stance with his plasma sword. If he gets hit, he will attack with his attack damage multiplied by 1.5%.
Final Smash: Star Ring
Arthur will pull out the Star Ring and use his pyrokinesis to erupt the floor and make a flame pillar. It's like Ken's Final Smash that's is done if his opponent is far away.
128. Simon (Gurren Laggan)

2024.06.02 09:29 FlashOnImpulse Discomfort in lower right abdomen?

Hi I recently had an ultrasound done due to concerns about my right abdomen and they found a 1.9cm lesion in my liver. It otherwise looks fine and healthy. This feeling in my abdomen is the same feeling I get in my left side when I am constipated. But after passing gas or doing to the toilet my left is fine. The right however has been constant feeling like there’s something there. For context I am a 27M and have been underweight since my high school years. I’ve looked up the symptoms for liver disease and I can check the marks for tiredness and weight lost. However, I have recently transferred to a night shift schedule so that might be the reason? I am a yard jockey and am driving 10 hours a day. I’ve slept 21 hours max on my day off with 16 hours being the most recent. I do do a lot of overtime though and my sleep is on and off. As for the weight loss, I think it’s just cause I haven’t been eating as much as I did compared to day shift cause I’m just so tired when I come home. I do have an appetite and I do feel hungry at work. My pee color is fine. I did a blood and urine test and the results are normal. Aside from the lesion, is there any other explanation for this constant feeling like there’s something in my lower right abdomen, just underneath my rib cage? I jam my finger into it and it feels somewhat sore but also comforting. Ps I’m still constipated. Apparently they couldn’t get a good image of my pancreas due to gas. My stool isn’t hard or wet, but sticky or mushy.

2024.06.02 09:27 Immediate_Reward7595 FF14 ENDWALKER STORY RECAP

So Endwalker has 2 stories but becomes one around from level 83. So from level 80 to 83 is most basically we found a strange tower in every state in Eorzea, manipulating people like a disease and Fandinel was the one who did this so at level 80, we were able to choose to go on a hunting mission to Thavnair or stay at Old Sharlyan and learned about the Final Days but we weren’t able to learn a clue about it. We only learned that Hydelen was the good god and Zodiark as the bad god. So In Thavnair, we learned about the Mangus Sisters and we entered the Tower of Zot, defeat the Mangus Sisters and helped the people stuck in the tower. We successfully did. At level 82, we visited Garemald, a dark, evil and cold state and that state had the main tower which is causing people to be brainwashed or manipulated. While investigating there, we met Zenos (Rival) and Fandinel (Arch Enemy) and Zenos transferred his soul to our characters skin and that was no good at all. We struggled with that imperial suit. That was a hard challenge. After that, we successfully captured Zenos, stopped his attack and at level 83, we entered the Tower Of Babil and killed Anima (The one causing the brainwash). After doing so, Fadniel and Zenos escaped to the Moon so we chased the 2. After getting to the moon, Fandinel took his soul and transformed into Zodiark and we defeated it but this caused more big trouble. So after killing it, the final days began in the Earth but before that, we found cute rabbits living in the Beastways Burrow, the rabbits working to make a new environment in case if we failed to manage the final days. Coming back to Earth, we met this nightmare with bloody burning skies and people turning into monsters by negative emotions. So we tried our best to control the Final days. From level 86, the player goes back to the Crystarium, meets Ryne and the soul of Elidibus, and going to the far past land Elpis. Once we got there, we met tons of young Ancients such as Emet Selch and Venat. So we also met Meteion and Hermes, the 2 were so kind and friendly but Meteion has lots of sisters, so around level 87 quest, we got the results of Meteion’s Sisters but all turned out dead or missing and Meteion turned arrogant, vengeful, depressed, and kissing hope about the world and turning to being one of the major villains of the game. Hermes was too kind and trying to make Meteion more emotional but that turned even worse and that’s the reason why the final days begun. Meteion’s negative emotions. After coming back to the present, we went back to Old Sharlyan, and started to build a huge airship to the Ultima Thule. We called the whole Eorzea alliance to get as much Ether so we can build a huge and fast airship. There were few quests with that cute rabbits from the Moon and that was quite hard to deal with. After we got to the Ultima Thule, we defeated Meteion, and we talked to Meteion at the edge of the Universe. Meteion finally broke her negative feelings and she casted out her new beginning. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Meteion flew and find a switch where the player could go back to the airship but before that, we had our duel with our best friend Zenos. Zenos was full of enthusiasm and excitement for our final duel in Endwalker. After we defeated Zenos, Zenos became disappointed and depressed that he lost again and saying his last words before he is fully gone. The Seventh Dawn came back, everyone was so happy and that’s the end for Endwalker.

2024.06.02 09:21 sodumbfounded Was I (F29) emotionally abused by my ex husband (M35)? Or more?

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this, so please let me know if there's a better sub for this, but I wanted to ask for multiple different opinions on this because I've been so confused about it. I might still be in denial? Hold on tight, this one is a doozy. And I'll probably delete it after a couple days or so.
So I was in an online relationship with this man for a couple years until we met in person in 2016, then married in 2019. I'm counting all 7 years as the whole relationship, but we were only married for 1. Some background information about him is he was abused as a kid. By his dad physically, and by his neighbor (SA). Now he was also in an accident involving a semitruck, which ruptured a couple disks in his back I believe? And this is why he told me he smoked marijuana. For his back, for medical reasons. I was ok with that. It was whatever. None of this seemed to truly bother him, so he seemed pretty easy going.
Fast forward to the marriage. (For informational purposes related to the story, I'm christian and don't believe in living with a man before marriage so I was unaware of a lot.) About 3 months in, he stops doing the marijuana and things go downhill fast. He only stopped because he knew I never really liked him smoking, but again, I was fine with it because his was for medical reasons. I told him this. He didn't want to smoke it again. Okay.
He starts taking up drinking instead to dowse the pain (he never went to the doctor for it and refused), but then some other issues started rising. He told me he wasn't drinking much, but I'd find empty bottles of alcohol stuffed into the couch, under the bed, behind the dresser, etc. It just didn't add up to the amount of times I saw him drinking. I told him we couldn't afford his alcohol, he kept buying it anyway.
Another point: I was the only one working and paying bills majority of the time. He couldn't hold a job and stayed home doing nothing I guess. No cleaning, no anything. I didn't know it was going to be like this before we got married. He seemed like he knew his priorities with saving money and getting bills paid and keeping things organized. That's what he told me anyway. But everything was always a mess when I got home and I was the only one making sure anything got paid.
Anyways, he also said he started seeing this... demon figure? Or something. In our apartment. It bothered him and freaked him out. I never saw it, but he'd sometimes see it in the closet or going from room to room or in the corner, and he even told me its name was Seth. One time we were arguing and he yelled out BEHIND me to "SHUT UP." And... to clarify... he made sure I knew he wasn't talking to me, but the thing behind me. There was no thing behind me. It was just us. So that periodically was happening through this entire ordeal.
Now when he started drinking, he started having these "episodes." They happened maybe once a week, once every other week? He seemed to get really frustrated about his past or something related to it, and he'd get so angry. So angry that he'd start punching things like the wall. And during these episodes he seemed like a completely different person. I NEVER saw anything close to this side of him before marrying him. Nobody warned me of this. None of his family. I didn't know what was going on. I'm not even sure if his family knows??? He just went on a rampage. I just tried my best to console him quietly for the longest time until he seemed somewhat normal again. Then he was ok in the morning again. These episodes only seemed to happen at night. Over the course of the next few months, these episodes only got more frequent to the point where they were happening pretty much every night (I think the alcohol just helps trigger it along) and more aggressive. I stayed around each time to try and calm him down, but it never really worked. So I just ended up losing sleep over it in the long run.
I mentioned several times that we/he should see a therapist or counseling or something, but he refused. He told me he was fine and that all he needed was me. He didn't believe in therapy... which sucked for me because he needed it majorly.
During these months while he was jobless, he'd find some way to fracture his fingers, whether it be punching a wall, or just... hitting something? Idk. I legit can't count how many times he had to put his fingers in splints. Idk if he was accident prone, or if he REALLY wanted to get out of finding a job, liked being the victim and getting me to feel sorry for him (which I did a LOT), or all of the above. He needed babying a lot, let me just say. When I said he needed a job to help me with the bills, he wanted me to come with him to this temp ageny place I went to to get a job, so I agreed. But every time I came home from work and asked to go, he said "tomorrow," or "next week." Always coming up with excuses of not feeling good or he fractured another finger, or something. Idk.
(Warning, sexual topic here) Another thing was happening during these months as well. During my sleep, he'd finger me in my sleep (and then proceed to try to put himself in me). At like 1am, when I had to get up at 4:30am to go to work and needed sleep (keep in mind, all his nightly episodes were ALSO happening still, so 1am is probably not too long after I ACTUALLY went to sleep. He kept me up a lot). I told him no several times but he wouldn't stop. This happened multiple times. I was exhausted. His excuse? "You were wet." Yes, because my body naturally reacted to stimulation. It took maybe 5-10 minutes or so until he gave up.
(More sexual topic) Whenever we DID have sex was fine. But obviously there were times where he wanted it and I didn't, and when I did and he didn't. The issue came when he wanted it and I didn't. If I said no, I had to say no several times. And eventually he'd stop. Everything. Stop cuddling, stop talking, stop everything, turn his back to me and just... lay there silently. The cold shoulder. Idk what else to call this but it seriously hurt. I didn't treat him that way. If he didn't want to, I'd accept it and stay cuddling. Over time this really messed with my thinking on whether or not he really loved me or just wanted to use me as a live in sex doll.
I made all the excuses in the book for his actions. His past abuse for one. I guess I felt like he needed me? Or I couldn't leave him? Idk.
There was one night where I stayed up for 5 hours straight, from 10pm to 3am, trying to stop him from punching holes in the walls. I stayed up trying to help him so often, it wore me out to the point where sex was off the table completely for aboouutt the last 4 months of our marriage I believe. I was drained mentally and physically. Frankly I was losing my emotional attachment to him. Then he started claiming I was cheating, because I didn't want sex with him, so I had to be "getting it from somewhere." Lol I went to work and came home. What cheating?
Also, suicidal thoughts. He had those too. He'd say things like "I don't deserve you. I'm better off not here. You deserve so much more. I'm a failure." frequently. I reassured him every time. Eventually I got tired of this too.
Towards the end I was speaking seriously with him. I bluntly told him things would need to change and he'd need a therapist or I'd be divorcing him. And I wouldn't throw that word around if I didn't mean it. I was on my last straw because I couldn't help him and he was dragging me down into depression avenue too and making me lose tons of sleep on top of everything. He didn't take my words seriously.
The last night that made me leave was the worst. Now, it started off with me going to bed because I had work in the morning. He wanted sex again. Surprise surprise. I said no, I need to sleep. He went quiet for a minute. My anxiety went up because I felt like something was going to happen, and sure enough....... he suddenly pops off the bed and says he can destroy his Pokémon cards to prove his love. What kind of insanity is that?
Firstly, this is the 3rd time he'd attempt to destroy his cards. Secondly, I knew how much they meant to him so I stopped him from doing that both times before. Thirdly, haha these were original Pocket Monster backed cards. Yay. Fourth... I didn't give a crap anymore and let him destroy them. He took them out of the closet and to the bathtub. He just submerged them all in water. I finally got out of bed and went "here we go again..." and went to go watch him so he wouldn't hurt himself. Idk. I couldn't stop him. I was dead tired.
After he successfully ruined all the cards, it's like a switch flipped and he was suddenly yelling "what did I do?!?!" Over and over again. He was in the tub with the cards and was throwing the cards up in the air. He was angry with himself.
This was around 12am. He decides to throw the cards in a trash bag and take them out to the dump at the front of the complex... now. Like he couldn't wait. (I also want to mention I hated when he stayed up later than I did because he always forgot to lock the doors even if I reminded him, so I always felt like I had to stay up. I woke up one morning with our porch door just... open. Not even closed. I couldn't trust it after that.) He also mentioned offing himself again, and then stuffed one of our glocks in his pocket while taking the bag (yes, stupid to have guns in this situation, I know). He claimed it was for protection while he went to the trash. While I believed that, I wasn't going to chance anything, so I managed to get the gun from his pocket and unload it. Then I quickly stashed it next to mine on my side of the bed.
Obviously he wanted to get it back, so I was wrestling him the whole way. Managed to keep him from it, so he got angry and punched the wall behind me, causing his knuckles to bleed. (This triggered me because by this point, I already cleaned up his blood numerous times before. Walls and my shirt because he flung his hand and it sprayed both) So I start crying and asking to take him to the bathroom to clean him up so I don't have to clean up anything else. I was tired, I wanted to go to bed and sleep so I could just get up for work. He refused, but I managed to push him there. Where... he proceeded to fling his hand and the blood splattered across the bathroom wall instead. sigh
This is when we hear a knock at the door and "POLICE." The neighbors called in domestic violence on us because we were so loud. I never had any run ins with police, so I got scared to open the door, but he opened it. I stood beside him. I had blood on my shirt from him pushing me aside and he had blood on him obviously. It didn't look good.
The police asked if they could come in and it was like another switch flipped in my ex's head (because he never acted like this around anybody else but me) so he started acting almost normal again instead of whatever his hysteria was. He told them it was completely fine and they didn't have to come in. But in that moment, my ex scared me so bad by that one flip of his personality that I told the police to come in. I was just glad to be able to speak to someone sane.
When they questioned us, they quickly realized I was the only one capable of answering their questions coherently and spoke with us separately. Eventually it ended with them waiting for me to gather my things and walking me out to my car so I could drive to my parent's house. Meanwhile my ex legit told the police "it's your fault we're separating." And I just told him that it wasn't, and walked out.
He later claims the police had to hold him back from going after me but I never saw this and don't know how true it is after his lies. He lied about his bills to me over the phone when we were still online dating. He also held back information about "almost sleeping with a random woman" when we were online dating. They "got naked" and "didn't do anything" and claims he didn't know we were dating at the time, but still felt guilty about it and told me about it after we got married?? Idk. And I still forgave him on the spot. Maybe that stuff doesn't matter so much, but still. Yes, I got tested. Clear.
I never went back. I was too scared. I still don't know what to make of it to this day because a lot of things were nonsense (a lot of craziness still left out, but this was the main stuff). I realize his past may play a major part of this, but I still feel messed up from it. (Yes I probably need to go to a therapist myself, but I've also doing forms of positive self therapy exercises as well for the time being until I can actually go. I'm MUCH happier now, don't worry.)
What are your opinions on this, if you actually made it this far? I'm just struggling to call it abuse maybe because he was abused himself? Or was this even abuse? What are your outside perspectives on it?
Tl;dr: Abused ex husband becomes enraged at night, punching holes in walls, causing me to lose sleep and sanity.

Over the past few weeks, I've been using the Wayne Water Systems WSB1275 battery in my basement sump pump. This maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid battery pack has made my life easier and more worry-free, thanks to its 75Ah capacity and 12V voltage. With its handles making it easy to move around, I am now free from the hassle of constantly monitoring and maintaining the battery levels.
One of the most impressive features of this battery is the consistent power supply it provides, ensuring that my backup sump pump remains ready to kick in at a moment's notice. This reliable performance has given me peace of mind, especially during the recent storms that have brought about power outages in my area. The battery also charges quickly, so I'm always prepared for any situation.
However, there is one drawback I've encountered. While the battery works reliably, the instructions provided for installation are quite complicated and could have been simplified. Additionally, I did notice that the battery's capacity can sometimes be slightly less than advertised, which might require an adjustment in your expectations.
In summary, the Wayne Water Systems WSB1275 battery offers a top-quality, reliable solution for my basement sump pump needs. With its impressive charging capabilities and consistent power supply, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use battery pack for their sump pump system.

I recently tried the Thunderbolt Magnum 12V 160 CCA AGM Battery, and I must say, it has some impressive features. What stood out to me is the rugged design and the versatile top-mounted terminals that make it a suitable choice for various generators, including those made by Predator.
While using this battery, I found it to be quite efficient in providing constant voltage input, which is crucial for an electric start generator. It successfully powered both my generator and an ATV without any issues. The battery's compact size made it convenient to install and mount on the generator.
However, one downside I encountered was the reversed polarity terminals. It took me a bit of time to figure out the issue during installation. Additionally, some customers mentioned facing difficulty in finding replacements for this battery, as most other units do not fit the same specifications.
Overall, the Thunderbolt Magnum 12V 160 CCA AGM Battery has proven to be a reliable and functional option for powering electric start generators. But be aware of the possible reversed polarity terminals and the difficulty in finding compatible replacements.

I've been using the Schumacher DSR ProSeries Jump Starter in my daily life for a few months now, and I must say it's been quite the reliable companion. When I needed to jumpstart my car the other day, it took me just a few minutes to get everything connected and running smoothly. The 525 cranking amps and 350 cold cranking amps really make a difference in those crucial moments.
One thing that really stood out to me was the easy-to-read digital display and ON/OFF switch. They made it easy for me to keep track of the battery life and to ensure I wasn't draining it unnecessarily. However, I did notice that the 60-inch cable length wasn't quite long enough to reach my car when it was parked in the driveway, so I had to make a few adjustments.
I particularly appreciate Schumacher's safety features like the reverse hook-up safeguard alarm, which makes sure that the clamps are connected to the battery correctly. Having this safety feature has given me peace of mind when jumpstarting my car or helping friends in need.
This jump starter is well-built and seems to be quite durable. It's a little bit heavy to carry around, but it's certainly sturdy enough to handle the job. The 2.1-amp USB port and 12V DC outlet added bonus features that I've come to appreciate during my camping trips and other outdoor activities.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Schumacher DSR ProSeries Jump Starter. It has proven to be an invaluable addition to my daily life, and I know I can always count on it when I need to get my car back up and running.

2024.06.02 09:11 anax44 Interesting Coffee Varieties from the Caribbean

The variety of Arabica first transported out of the highlands of Ethiopia into the rest of the tropical world is known as Typica Coffee. A variety of Typica sent to Reunion mutated into a new type of Arabica called Bourbon Coffee. In more recent times, there have been more mutations of Typica and Arabica as well as multiple hybrids between the two resulting in many different varieties of Arabica Coffee.
There are two accounts of coffee coming to the Caribbean. The first, is of the Dutch transporting it to Suriname in 1713. A more popular tale is the story of a French Naval Officer who smuggled a coffee seedling out of Amsterdam, transported it across the Atlantic, and planted it in Martinique. From these introductions, coffee quickly spread across the Caribbean and Latin America leading to a variety of regional styles.
A regional style is generally the result of the varieties planted, terroir of the region, and traditions associated with processing the coffee beans. All across the Caribbean, there are several interesting and unique varieties of coffee.
Costa Rica:
Tarrazú Coffee & Villa Sarachi
Following their independence from Spain in 1821, the government of Costa Rica immediately took steps to develop the coffee industry. This included giving away seedlings, allowing farmers to take ownership of arable land, exempting coffee from certain taxes, and introducing the wash process. All of these developments happened in less than ten years after Independence. The strong government support for the coffee industry has resulted in consistently high quality coffee beans, and a healthy economy heavily influenced by this crop. The status of Costa Rica as the safest country in Central America also helps with coffee tourism and international investment.
In recent years, farmers have purchased their own processing equipment, making it possible to easily find small batches of coffee from single farms. Honey processing is also particularly popular in Costa Rica, and it’s done both to differentiate the coffee, and to save water. The highest grown coffee in the country is from a region called Tarrazú, and the volcanic soil and unique microclimate of this area is often cited as contributors to the superior quality of Tarrazú Coffee. In the past, many producers would write Tarrazú Coffee on labels to benefit from the name association, but recently the government of Costa Rica has developed a geographical indication for Tarrazú Coffee. The types of coffee commonly grown are Cattura, which is a mutation of Bourbon, and Catuai, which is a hybrid between Cattura and another Bourbon mutation.
A varietal associated with Costa Rica but also grown elsewhere is Villa Sarachi, a dwarf mutation of Bourbon that is tolerant of strong winds that is named for the Costa Rican town where it was discovered in 1950.
Dominican Republic:
Valdesia Coffee & Sierra Cafetalera Coffee
Dominicans drink more coffee than anyone else in the insular Caribbean. Due to this, coffee production in the country remains stable, but exports continue to decline with each passing decade. Generally speaking, the varietals planted are Typica and Caturra that are both grown organically on hillsides. This leads to Dominican coffee being good, but nothing exceptional.
Of some note is the coffee grown on the Cordillera Central, also known as the Dominican Alps. It’s the highest grown coffee in the country, and it benefits from the unique rocky soil of the mountains. Some coffee from regions in the southern part of the country have also attracted attention. This includes Valdesia Coffee, which is protected by a Geographical Indication and sold at a premium compared to generic Dominican coffee. Additionally, coffee grown by a collection of small farmers in the Sierra de Neiba range and processed traditionally has been included in the Ark of Taste as Sierra Cafetalera Coffee.
Honduras:
Café de Marcala & Camapara Mountain Coffee
Honduras is the third largest coffee producer in the Americas. They produce more than Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama combined, but still far less than Colombia or Brazil. Bourbon and Caturra are commonly grown varietals, although in the Montecillos region a type known as Pacas is cultivated. This is a mutation of Bourbon discovered in neighboring El Salvador about seventy years ago. This region is also where coffee is grown at the highest altitude, and it is protected by the Geographical Indications Honduras Western Coffee, and Café de Marcala. Coffee grown near the border with Guatemala and El Salvador has attracted some international attention, and is recognized by Slow Food as Camapara Mountain Coffee.
Panama:
Panama Geisha/Gesha
Panama is a relatively small coffee producer where many of the same varietals planted elsewhere in Central America are also planted. What the country stands out for however, is their Geisha Coffee that has managed to constantly fetch high prices and consistently win awards for the last two decades.
Geisha or Gesha Coffee was first discovered growing in the wild on the slopes of the Gori Gesha Mountains in Central Ethiopia in the 1930s. Since then, it has been introduced to coffee growing regions all across the world. While Geisha Coffee from Colombia and Costa Rica are both highly regarded, it is Panama Geisha that has become the most famous. Many coffee enthusiasts find Blue Mountain, Kona, and Kopi Luwak to be overhyped, but the floral and fruity notes of Panama Geisha makes it worth the high prices. There is no protection of the name, or geographical indication for Panama Geisha Coffee, so lower quality examples are starting to emerge.
Jamaica:
Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee & High Mountain Coffee
In 1950 the Jamaican Coffee Board was founded, and their activity is almost entirely focused on promoting mountain grown coffee from Jamaica’s four most eastern parishes. This coffee is cultivated on the slopes of the Blue Mountains, which are the highest peaks on the island and part of a World Heritage Site. The majority of this coffee is a varietal of Typica known as Blue Mountain Coffee, but small amounts of Geisha are also grown. The coffee is graded according to the height of the slopes on which it is grown, so there is Jamaica Low Mountain Coffee grown at less than 460 meters, and Jamaica High Mountain Coffee grown over that height, but below 910 meters. Only coffee grown over 910 meters however, can legally be sold as Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. Coffee enthusiasts find Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee to be very good, but no longer worth the high prices due to the growing availability of small batch specialty coffee from other regions.
Nicaragua:
Starmaya Coffee
Despite decades of political instability, the coffee industry in Nicaragua has managed to thrive. There are three coffee growing regions where farmers mostly plant Caturra and Bourbon, and all three are known for producing quality coffee. In the continuous quest for developing high quality coffee varieties with disease resistance, the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development developed a variety in Nicaragua known as Starmaya that was made by crossing several Arabica varieties with a wild coffea species from Ethiopia. Starmaya shows a lot of promise in helping the coffee industry deal with growing threats like disease and climate change.
Guyana:
Pomeroon Coffee
Guyana lacks the climate conditions necessary for quality coffee to thrive, but it is home to something entirely unique; Pomeroon Coffee. Named for the region where it is grown, this is not a varietal of Arabica or Robusta. Rather, this is a species known as Coffea Liberica that makes up less than one percent of commercially grown coffee. Most of this Liberica Coffee is grown and consumed locally in the Philippines where it is called Kapeng Barako. The Liberica Coffee in Guyana came to the region with the early introduction of Coffee to South America via the Dutch. As Arabica crops failed in the Guianas because of disease and the warm climate, the Liberica managed to survive. Liberica coffee beans are larger than Robusta or Arabica, and shaped slightly differently. As climate change threatens the coffee industry, the potential of this coffee species is being further explored.
Guadeloupe:
Guadeloupe Bonifieur
Guadeloupe was one of the first Caribbean islands where coffee was planted, and it has grown continuously there for almost three hundred years. Production today is very small, but of particular note is Guadeloupe Bonifieur which shares the same lineage as Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. Additionally, Guadeloupe was the second Caribbean island where coffee was introduced after Martinique, and due to the eruption of Mount Pelée where the majority of coffee on Martinique was cultivated, Guadeloupe is now home to some of the earliest established coffee estates in the New World.

2024.06.02 09:09 acres_at_ruin How would you calmly explain to your partner that you don’t want his dead mother’s kitschy crap cluttering your brand new house?

Title pretty much explains it.
Unfortunately the first year we were together my partner’s mother died in a car accident.
I was with his family when they were packing up her home and I both instantly knew and was told by multiple family members, including my partner, that their mother was a bit of a hoarder.
She had so many little trinkets and doo-dads. The standard little porcelain statues that women of a certain age want to collect. Lots of cheap prints and artwork (live, laugh love type stuff and that random abstract art that’s mainly just paint splattered on a canvas.)
The plan was that we would box up everything and then at some point my partner and his sister would go through everything and decide what they wanted to keep. There is some antique furniture (needing a serious restoration) and family heirlooms that obviously they should keep but a lot of it is stuff that should he donated to a second hand store.
Anyway 6 YEARS later and we have been lugging boxes of this stuff around with us. His sister has moved interstate and is working as a doctor so hasn’t got time to travel back here (though so does travel to another state to visit her boyfriend.)
These boxes have been in our apartment, we took them with us when we moved in with my parents for a year (luckily they had plenty of space so the boxes sat in a room out of the way) and now we’ve moved into our new home… and the boxes remain. They’re currently taking up the entirety of what is going to be our theatre room but is also meant to be a bedroom for his family to stay in when they visit (he’s from overseas).
Anytime I mention them he says “yeah I’m going to go through them.” but what that equates to is him, once in a blue moon, opening a box, deciding every thing in it is special and then he’ll start putting it out somewhere in wherever we’re living.
We’ve waited 3.5 years for our house to be built (blame COVID) and I want this house to be our stuff, I have a vision, I have an aesthetic in mind and her stuff is just not the vibe.
I am probably sounding a little harsh and my mother is still alive so I don’t know what that grief feels like for him but it’s just such a waste of space. I’ve tried going through it with him previously but he gets defensive if I suggest getting rid of any of it, but it just sits in a box most of the time!
If I’m being callous tell me, but I think it would be healthier for him to pick a few things that actually hold meaning to him and give everything else away (and his sister can suck rocks, we have been lugging her childhood report cards and crap around for over half a decade.)
What is a boy to do? Thanks in advance!

2024.06.02 09:08 Flaky_Worry_1817 Random involuntary bodily movements?

[21 F] 5’4” 145 lbs I’m not sure if I have any relevant diagnoses but I’ll list everything I’ve ever been told by a doc I have. I’m very literal and I want to follow the first rule as well as I can. Mental: adhd (revoked), cptsd with dissociation, depression, ppd, and was in process of being diagnosed with BPD, experienced psychosis Physical: bursitis on hips, bone deterioration in hips, TMJ (orthodontist, dentist, OMT Specialist all said my jaw was permanently dislocated and would need surgery or something), hypothyroidism, chronic tonsillitis, chronic bladder infections as child, and at one point minor back spasms.
I was in a RZR accident as a teen where we flipped uphill. No medical attention provided as I didn’t have health insurance and my parents wouldn’t take me. Then in a car accident at 18 with no medical attention. Finally another car accident where I was rear ended on the highway and did seek medical attention. X-ray is what led the DR to tell me I did have minor bone deterioration. My brother would also hold me in an arm lock on both arms until my shoulder would pop and be painful to move after constantly when I was a kid. Not sure if that would cause spasms in my arms.
suspected POTS (multiple fainting spells as a kid, once hit my head and went unconscious but was screaming/shaking; now I can recognize when I’m about to go down)
I am a cannabis smoker but I’m getting sober for work. I have used LSD, molly, xtc, mdma, ketamine, Xanax, nicotine, shrooms, and alcohol and other pills. Nothing was ever long term use, mostly just once or twice. I do believe I overdosed on xtc.
I don’t currently take medications.
Anyways, I’m having this consistent problem as mentioned in the title. My entire body spasms and twitches and moved uncontrollably throughout the entire day. Sometimes it’s worse and other times I forget about it.
I can have eye muscle spasms and I constantly have little muscle spasms throughout my legs, back, arms and sometimes feet. Never painful just tiny little areas and you can see it happen. My legs jerk around usually inwards towards the other leg, or my toes will randomly clench for a split second, my leg will lift up from the knee or I will suddenly bring my foot inwards to my butt. My arms/hand will jerk outwards or my fingers will twitch/curl in. Or my hip or shoulders will just like jerk quickly on its own. My head will also jerk in different directions. Again all of this happens within seconds and is painless. On bad days it just happens consistently and I usually ignore this. Sometimes though I get much stronger and more painful symptoms. I will experience acute burning/itching in my legs that hurt for a fraction of time that cause my legs to shake/jerk/tremospasm (not sure how to best describe it) involuntarily. Sometimes it happens only once or twice but has lasted minutes. The closest thing I can compare to the feeling is the zap I got during my epidural.
I’m not sure if it’s something everyone experienced or if I should get it checked out. Any advice, ideas, etc is very welcome. I am starting a partially physical laborer job and want to make sure this isn’t something that could possibly put my in danger hauling the product or when I’m running the machinery.

2024.06.02 09:04 Immediate_Reward7595 Which FF14 Story is the hardest to understand and easy to get lost?

Story Recap (From Heavensward)
Heavensward
Heavensward is a story of playing Hide And Seek with Thordan VII. So Ishgard was suffering with a war between the dragons for a 1000 years. Mr. Thordan VII thew bunch of lies towards us about the dragon war saying Nidhogg is defeated. So we had to go to tons of places and meet tons of dragons and we learned the truth of the Dragon War. So we found out that Thordan I and his twelve knights aimed to steal Nidhoggs eye. Nidhogg killed Thordan I and some other knights but Haldrath successfully stole the eye of Nidhogg to avenge his dad, and Nidhogg and the other dragons got extremely mad and even a 1000 years, still with hatred and doubt towards human beings. So at level 57, from around the Vault, Thordan VII was a coward and he started to know that his lies were busted and started going to Azys Lla. We defeated Bismarck but Thordan VII stole the key and made us not enter Azys Lla. So we went all the way back to Ishgard and made Cid to created an upgraded version of our airship which successfully rip the wall of Azys Lla. Then we looked for Thordan, found him in the facility and he became King Thordan and fought him, successfully defeating him.
Stormblood
Stormblood seems a bit difficult for me and the others compared to the other games but it’s just quite simple where the Seventh Dawn visited Ala Mingho, learned about the people there were Zenos’s victims. While having a fun break and a tour around the area after beating that Darth Vader like King Thordan and the vengeful dragon named Nidhogg. We had a full bunch of hope and pumped to defeat the imperials control super quickly but it didn’t turned out really easy. So one night, Zenos visited the Ranglers Reach, bullied everyone with his gangs, the WOL challenged him but the bully was too powerful so the WOL was easily beaten up by the big Samurai Zenos. The next day, we or those who were assuming that Zenos was weaker were all so sad, depressed, disappointed, and despondent, about to destroy and give up our plans and hopes but Alphinald brought up a genius plan so we traveled to Japan and China which also suffered with the same kinda problems with a 100 ton ship to stop the imperial control in East Asia , help the victims out there, stop the woman named Yotsuru psychopath (A weaker version of Zenos). A woman who was traumatized about her childhood abuse from her parents and appealing herself that her parents made a monster like this as a revenge to them, get some more allies or friends like in Kugane, we met Soroban from Ninja Turtles or Hien from some kind of Demon slayer character, or like those cool fancy looking strong friends first as a training to fight Zenos again at the end game. It sounded fun and exciting to meet new people and team up but that didn’t go very easy. We were asked to do some quests in each area to gain the people’s trust. You guys think Kugane was such a major place but it wasn’t. It’s more like a sightseeing destination in FF14 so ignore it when it comes to the major story plot. In the Ruby Sea, the people living there suffered from the imperial Kojin’s control. In the Azim Steppe, there were 2 species of Au Ra and one of the species were extremely powerful but the other was extremely weak so we helped the weaker Au Ra to end the rivalry between the 2 species of Au Ra. The weak gets revenge on the strong one. And in Yanxia, we focused main on stopping Yotsuru and that freak surpporting Yotsuru.
Shadowbringers
The game FF14 SHADOWBRINGERS is basically bringing back the darkness. Opposite from FF3. So you enter the dream world named Norvrandt, the sky was too bright so it was kinda weird. The reason was there was these evil creatures named “Sin Eaters” eats people and make them transform into one of the Sin Eaters. So the Warrior of Light and the Seventh Dawn heard that the people living there were uncomfortable about the Sin Eaters and wanted the darkness so we visited each state of the dream world and beated up the strongest or the leader Sin Eaters that were living in each areas. While doing so, we met Vauthry, an extremely fat Sumo Wrestler who is a king of Sin Eaters living in a richly and fancy place named Eulmore, but he kinda always hits the ground very hard when he’s mad or upset. Dude, can you just stop hitting the ground? I feel bad for the ground. I’m an HSP so please stop doing those painful or hurtful stuffs. Also, if you wanna hit something, go and hit the worst person I’ve ever met in my whole life naked please? I’m begging you and everyone living in Eulmore is begging you to do so. We can’t sleep too. Just too noisy. So yeah, we met him and we also met an extremely eccentric Ascian named Emet Selch, a friend of Ardyn FF15 who wanted to connect the Dream World and the real world together so we stopped him. After we did, he died but like Aldbert, his spirit joined us and became our companion and he helped us fight against Elidibus, a FF3 player that brings back the light and also the most powerful Ascian before going to Endwalker.
Endwalker
Endwalker has 2 stories but becomes one around from level 83. So from level 80 to 83 is most basically we found a strange tower in every state in Eorzea, manipulating people like a disease and Fandinel was the one who did this so at level 80, we were able to choose to go on a hunting mission to Thaniver or stay at Old Sharlyan and learned about the Final Days but we weren’t able to learn a clue about it. We only learned that Hydelen was the good god and Zodiark as the bad god. So In Thaniver, we learned about the Mangus Sisters and we entered the Tower of Zot, defeat the Mangus Sisters and helped the people stuck in the tower. So we also met Meteion and Hermes, the 2 were so kind and friendly but Meteion has lots of sisters, so around level 87 quest, we got the results of Meteion’s Sisters but all turned out dead or missing and Meteion turned arrogant, vengeful, depressed, and destroying hope about the world and turning to being one of the major villains of the game. After we got to the Ultima Thule, we were confused and searched a way to open a way to Meteion but this was quite sad. So our friends had to sacrifice their lives to make a road. What they will sacrifice for is that is we had to find the character who is nihilistic. So there were the dragons, Ea’s, and the Omicrons. The dragons and Ea’s were all nihilistic so it was hard to find the biggest nihilistic but for the omicrons, it was so hard to find. So for the dragons, it’s about they gave up because their world is having a big war, Ea’s were saying that Knowledges are wastes, and Omicrons were saying they are preparing for the war. After we opened all the path by sacrificing your friends, Emet and his friend appeared and returned everyone back to life. After that we defeated Meteion with one, and we talked to Meteion at the edge of the Universe.

🔗Stretchy Adjustable Bungee Cords for Secure Straps (4 Pack)

The Houseables Bungee Cords with Hooks have become a trusty companion in my daily life. Their 48-inch length ensures that I can secure even the heftiest objects without having to worry about them slipping away. The premium-grade rubber construction adds durability and resistance to stretching, guaranteeing these cords will stay strong for a long time.
The most impressive feature is the stretch capacity of these bungee cords, which can extend from 4 feet to a remarkable 10 feet. I've found that the extra length allows for better shock absorption, making it easier to manage heavy loads and maintain a smooth and safe transfer.
One of the things I appreciate the most is the adjustability of these cords. They can be easily manipulated and tightened to hold large items in place, while also being simple to release when needed. The flat hooks are a game-changer, as they lie better and create a more reliable attachment point compared to traditional round ones.
However, there is one minor drawback to these cords - the bright yellow color may not be to everyone's taste. Some may prefer a more subdued hue. Despite this, the overall performance and convenience of the Houseables Bungee Cords with Hooks make them a great choice for anyone in need of reliable and versatile straps for securing heavy items.

The Hampton Products Keeper 06180 Heavy-Duty Bungee Cord is a versatile and dependable product that truly stands out in the market. With its premium rubber lining on the inside, it has an impressive 10% more rubber content than conventional cords, ensuring optimal performance and long-lasting durability.
One of the most prominent features of this bungee cord is its professional-grade construction. The dichromate steel hooks at each end provide outstanding resistance against bending under pressure and are resistant to corrosion. Moreover, the material is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and UV rays, making it perfect for outdoor use.
Another excellent aspect of this bungee cord is its expansive adjustability. It stretches excellently for your cargo needs, making it a versatile and convenient choice for securing various items. The durable design ensures that the cord stretches perfectly over your cargo without compromising its strength.
However, like any product, there are a couple of cons. While the bungee cord is well-constructed, it can be a bit tricky to adjust, which might cause some inconvenience during use. Additionally, the steel hooks can be a bit sharp, which might require some extra care while handling.
Overall, this Hampton Products Keeper 06180 Heavy-Duty Bungee Cord is a remarkable product that is perfect for securing cargo and making your life easier. Its premium-quality construction, durability, and versatility make it a standout choice in the market. So, if you're in the market for a reliable and robust bungee cord, look no further than this exceptional product.

The Monkey Fingers Bungee Cord has been an absolute game-changer in my daily life. As an avid adventurer, I've had to deal with various tie-down situations, and this adjustable bungee cord has made my life so much easier. The unique, patented adjustable hook is not only practical but also makes it the last bungee cord I'll ever need to buy.
One of my favorite features is the ease of use and adjustability. Whether I'm working on a DIY project or going on a boating trip, this bungee cord can be quickly adjusted to fit my needs. Its length can be adjusted from 6 inches to 60 inches, and the marine-grade rubber core ensures it's strong and durable enough to handle any task.
However, there is one downside - it only comes in one size. I wish they offered a longer size for even more versatility. Overall, the Monkey Fingers Bungee Cord is a reliable, easy-to-use, and adaptable tool that has become an essential part of my outdoor adventures.

🔗Versatile Premium Bungee Cord Multi-Pack

https://preview.redd.it/29zz8i95x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=469b96613f3799c91923d8fbc0ee92c2f5dd8ff7
I recently tried out the Keeper Bungee Cord Variety Pack, and I must say, it's been a game-changer in my daily life. This pack of 12 different bungee cords offers a wide range of options, ensuring you have the perfect cord for any situation. The 25cm, 46cm, 60cm, 80cm, and 90cm cords make it versatile and useful for various tasks.
But what really stood out for me is the premium quality of the cords. They are made from top-tier, long-lasting rubber that ensures they won't snap or lose their strength over time. The protective coating is a thoughtful feature that resists corrosion and won't chip my paint. Plus, the heavy gauge steel hooks are dependable and easy to use.
However, one downside I faced was with the mini cords. They were a bit too small for my needs, so I had to use them sparingly. But overall, the Keeper Bungee Cord Variety Pack was an excellent investment, providing me with a range of high-quality cords that have made my life easier.

🔗Versatile and Safe Bungee Cords for ATV, Truck, and Outdoor Accessories

As an avid camper, I found the Loop Rope Campers Pack to be a game-changer. Say goodbye to those pesky bungee cords that always seem to wear themselves out and end up with an unsightly mess. This Loop Rope system is not only safer, but also incredibly easy to use. The loops evenly placed on the rope eliminate the need for complex knots, while the double sided stainless steel clips secure your cargo perfectly.
I appreciate the versatility of this product. No matter what you're trying to secure, whether it's a boat, a mattress, camping gear, or even drying clothes, this Loop Rope system does the job with ease. The different lengths of clips make it even more suitable for various applications.
However, as with all products, it's not without its small drawbacks. The clips can be a bit difficult to attach at times, and it might take a bit of force to stretch the rope to the desired tension. Despite this, the pros certainly outweigh the cons, making the Loop Rope Campers Pack an indispensable addition to any camper's gear.

🔗Versatile Adjustable Bungee Cord with UV Protection

https://preview.redd.it/4tsv8vv5x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=031a5b4327e544027a1f41d4bac5dd4e78e77458
Using the Danik Hook Adjustable Bungee Cord has been a game-changer in my outdoor adventures. The adjustability feature allows you to set the length to your preferred range, from 6" to 48" unstretched. Its durability is evident with the UV-protected hooks and bungee, ensuring longevity and protection against the harsh elements.
One of the things I appreciate the most is the versatility of this product. It can be used in various settings, such as boating or camping, without any hassle. The option to swap out Bungee cords for 5/32" - 3/8" diameter ropes or parachute cord makes it even more adaptable to your needs.
Despite its great features, there's one downside: the Danik Hook Adjustable Bungee Cord can be a bit challenging to tighten the bungee cord and adjust the length. However, once you get the hang of it, it becomes a smooth process.
Overall, this Made in the USA adjustable bungee cord has made my outdoor experiences more convenient, and I highly recommend it for those seeking a strong, customizable, and adjustable bungee cord for their adventures.

🔗National Hardware Adjustable Bungee - The Ultimate Cargo Securing Solution

https://preview.redd.it/w8lj1xa6x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f764521f03a0a5b3a4db3171bd5556ccd8622dd
When I'm out exploring, I like to have a bungee that can handle anything thrown my way – and that's exactly what National Hardware's Adjustable Bungee offers. With carabiner hooks that can be used as tie-down straps or in place of ratchet straps, it's the only bungee I'll ever need.
The adjustable length from 9-in to 60-in allows me to secure my cargo without worrying about it shifting or being tossed around. The slip-resistant securing system and easy-to-use mounting feature also make it a reliable option for garage organization and securing sports balls on shelves.
One of my favorite features is the interchangeable carabiners – I can swap them out for S-hooks or quick-links depending on what I need to secure. Plus, the product comes with two adjustable bungees, which is double the amount of security for my adventures.
Overall, this bungee is a must-have for any explorer. It's easy to use, secure, and versatile, making it the perfect addition to any vehicle or outdoor excursion.

🔗Versatile and Durable Adjustable Cargo Net - Ideal for Outdoor Use and All Weather Conditions

https://preview.redd.it/xgow8km6x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79cc2d5fcdcc248a4240206e97a3434e0160b7f2
I recently got my hands on the Flex-Web Adjustable Cargo Net, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. This 72-inch net ensures I can safely secure my gear while on the go.
The unique feature of this net is its six adjustable arms, secured to a central powder-coated ring. It allows for a full adjustable net, perfect for those unpredictable cargo changes. The ABS plastic hook ends are a fantastic addition, as they prevent scratching surfaces and stay secure during transportation.
One of the things I appreciate most is the ability of each arm to stretch twice their length, making it easy to accommodate various cargo sizes. And with its UV, Chemical, Fuel, and Oil Resistance along with waterproof properties, this net is built to withstand all kinds of weather conditions.
While it's made in the USA since 2008, it's designed to be versatile, suitable for ATVs, motorcycles, UTVs, trucks, trailers - basically, anything you'd need a secure cargo net for. It's truly a fantastic product, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in need of a durable and reliable bungee cord.

🔗Premium Adjustable Bungee Cords with Strong Steel Hooks and UV Protection

https://preview.redd.it/ddjtcg57x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc25854739432f354370df1ba385c93f2b69d096
I've been using the SmartStraps Premium Adjustable Bungee Cords for a while now, and they've served my needs pretty well. The super strong cord is definitely more durable than the standard bungee cords I've used in the past. The adjustable feature is a game-changer, eliminating the need for multiple length cords. All you need is one bungee cord that can adapt to various situations.
However, I did notice that the cord's elasticity might degrade over time, especially in extreme weather conditions. Also, the steel hooks are not the best when it comes to scratch-resistance on delicate surfaces. But overall, these bungee cords are pretty convenient and useful for various situations.

🔗25 ft. Round Stretch Adjustable Bungee Cords

https://preview.redd.it/x8uyjn97x34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79c5d101f723a0243a1f531f391ec7687e0b9dc7
The Haul-Master 25 ft. Round Stretch Cord with Adjustable Hooks has become quite the life saver in my day-to-day activities. It's like having a superhero sidekick who's always there to help you secure and manage your cargo. Whether it's tying down a floppy hot tub tarp or securing a trailer cover through the winter, this bungee cord is the perfect tool for the job.
One of the most impressive features of this product is its adjustable length. It's like having a chameleon that can change its size on command. With the simple twist of a hook, I can easily adjust the cord to reach any length I need. This flexibility has turned what could be a cumbersome task into a breeze.
However, there's one downside I've noticed with this bungee cord. Despite its durability and easy-to-use design, the outer jacket seems to have a slight tendency to fade over time. Sure, it's not a major issue, but I would love to see a product that can withstand all the elements, not just some.
Overall, the Haul-Master 25 ft. Round Stretch Cord with Adjustable Hooks is a fantastic product. Its adaptability and strength make it a versatile tool in my arsenal, and I'm sure it will continue to come in handy for many projects to come. Despite the minor flaw, I would highly recommend this bungee cord to anyone in need of a reliable tie-down solution.

As someone who's had the pleasure of using a set of Keeper Bungee Cords, I must say, they're a game changer. The vibrant orange color sure catches the eye and makes it easy to spot in any environment. And boy, do they live up to the "durable outer jacket" claim. I've left them out in the sun for days, and not once have they shown any signs of wear.
The industrial-strength design is quite impressive too. The hooks are definitely larger than your average bungee cord, which means fewer scratches on my belongings. I particularly appreciate that they're corrosion-resistant, ensuring they'll last a lifetime.
However, there's one thing I wish was different - the thickness. At 0.374 inches, it can sometimes be a bit too thick for certain tasks, making it a bit cumbersome to use. But overall, the Keeper Bungee Cords are a fantastic investment for those who need a reliable and sturdy solution for securing their goods.

I recently gave Axemax's Heavy Duty Bungee Cords a try and have to say, they impressed me. The color-coding feature made it a breeze to organize my belongings, and I loved the variety of sizes they offer. The durable rubber and cross-woven latex material held up to some rough use, and the UV resistance means these cords will keep their color even after spending time outside.
On the downside, I found the hook design could be a bit more robust. A couple of times, I had issues with the hooks breaking or loosening under pressure. However, this issue was outweighed by the convenience of having a carry bag for easy storage and retrieval of the cords.
All in all, these adjustable bungee cords make a useful addition to any outdoor adventure or work situation, providing flexibility and durability. I'd definitely recommend them to my friends!

I recently tried out the MOLADRI Black Adjustable Bungee Cords with Hooks Set, and I have to say, they've become a lifesaver in my daily life. These bungee cords are incredibly versatile, offering multiple uses such as securing luggage to the roof of my car or holding down a picnic tablecloth during a windy outdoor meal.
One striking feature that stood out to me is their adjustability. The length of these cords can be easily adapted to fit a wide range of situations, making them an essential item for anyone on the go. The flat, heavy-duty design also impressed me, as it not only absorbed shock from bumps and turns but also evenly distributed the load, improving the safety of my cargo.
However, while the flat design is a plus for securing heavy objects, it does make it difficult to use these bungee cords for less substantial items. Additionally, the metal hooks at the ends of the cords add extra durability, but they can be a bit tricky to untangle when storing them.
Overall, the MOLADRI Black Adjustable Bungee Cords with Hooks Set has become an indispensable part of my daily routine, thanks to their versatility and durability. Despite the occasional struggles with untangling the hooks, the benefits far outweigh the inconveniences, making this set a wise purchase for anyone in need of a reliable and adaptable bungee cord.

I recently tried out the Monkey Fingers Adjustable Bungee Cords, and let me tell you, they're a game-changer for anyone who needs to keep their cargo secure. The bright red color definitely stands out, making it easy to see even in low-light situations. The 2-pack is perfect for keeping one in the car and one on your boat or ATV.
The adjustability of the bungee cords is truly a lifesaver, letting me quickly switch between lengths depending on the load at hand. The hooks are sturdy, making it easy to secure even the heaviest loads, and the bungee cords themselves are incredibly durable, withstanding harsh sun and salt water without any issues. My only complaint is that the hooks could use a slightly larger size for securing cargo on ATVs.
Overall, these are the best bungee cords I've ever tried, and I highly recommend them! .

Buyer's Guide

Adjustable bungee cords are versatile and practical tools that can be used for a wide range of purposes. They come in various widths, lengths, and capacities, making them suitable for different applications.

Important Features

1. Stretch Capacity

https://preview.redd.it/lfp9yhuax34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7ff8addd0f24e9adf3f4f66aeb5dfed5d47f6b1
The stretch capacity of an adjustable bungee cord is the maximum distance it can stretch without breaking. This is an important consideration when choosing the right bungee cord for your needs. For smaller loads, a lower stretch capacity will suffice, while for heavier loads, a higher stretch capacity is required.

2. Diameter

The diameter of an adjustable bungee cord affects its strength and flexibility. A wider cord is generally stronger, but more inflexible, while a narrower cord is more flexible but less strong. Choose a bungee cord's diameter based on the load it will be supporting and the angles it will need to stretch at.

3. Coated or Uncoated

Adjustable bungee cords can either be coated or uncoated. Coated cords are more resistant to wear and tear, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications, while uncoated cords are more flexible and lightweight, making them suitable for light-duty applications.

4. Quality and Durability

To ensure the longevity of your adjustable bungee cord, choose one made from high-quality materials and built for durability. Look for reinforced end fittings and sturdy construction.

Considerations Before Buying

1. How You Will Use the Bungee Cord

Consider the specific application for your adjustable bungee cord. Will it be used to secure a load to a vehicle, to hold two objects together, or for stretching exercises? Understanding how you will use the bungee cord will help you choose the right one with the appropriate stretch capacity and diameter.

2. Budget

Adjustable bungee cords come in a wide range of prices, depending on their size, strength, and quality. Determine your budget before making a purchase, and consider the bungee cord's expected lifespan and suitability for your applications. Remember, cheaper options might not always be the best value.

3. Brand Reputation

https://preview.redd.it/g37l8ckbx34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a720f58177e61675d9f9ba77068cd0c9c91ab6b
Some brands have better quality control and produce more durable adjustable bungee cords than others. Research the brand's reputation before making a purchase, and look for positive reviews and experiences from other users.

General Advice and Precautions

1. Always Read the Instructions

Before using an adjustable bungee cord, always read the manufacturer's instructions for proper handling and usage. This can help you avoid accidents and damage to your load or the bungee cord itself.

2. Avoid Overstretching

Do not overstretch your adjustable bungee cord, as this can cause it to snap and potentially cause injury. Make sure to secure the bungee cord appropriately and only stretch it as far as it is designed to stretch.

3. Keep the Cord Organized and Tangled-Free

A tangled or knotted bungee cord can be difficult to deal with and can even damage the cord. Make sure to keep your adjustable bungee cord organized and untangled to extend its lifespan and maintain its strength and flexibility.

4. Choose the Right Bungee Cord for the Job

Using the wrong bungee cord for the job can lead to accidents, damage to your load, and even personal injury. Always choose the appropriate bungee cord based on your load's weight, the distance it needs to stretch, and the angles involved in the stretching.

2024.06.02 08:50 Normal_History_5111 i surrender! you win!

i’m not sure how long it’s been since the breakup, but it’s still fresh out from a few days to a week. i’m 21F, been in countless relationships to situationships & everything in between. i will admit what i’m about to say is so corny, but they were all pretty forgettable. however i know i will remember this one for a long long time.
she (21F) knows my reddit, & she’s also on this sub (to my knowledge), but at this point does it really make a difference whether she sees this or not? i’m going to try to make this short & sweet; i’m dumpee, she’s the dumper. also want to preface this by saying that i am not the victim here, ive done certain things that were the cause of why our relationship ended. to be brief, ive struggled with addiction for a while & i recently relapsed and tried to hide it from her & lie about it. we were talking about going no contact. again, after being in relationship after relationship, no contact is the most painless option to move on from your ex. personally, it would hurt me more (& this is not my ex’s fault at all lol) to stay friends, have to talk to her as just my friend, & potentially (or should i say eventually) see her with someone else, going on dates, etc. i like to stay friends with my exes, so i normally navigate breakups by immediately going no contact for a few months-year & reconnecting from there.
i’ve always sort of struggled with knowing whether my ex really cared or valued the relationship as much as i did. best way i can describe it is, “does she love me because she loves me or does she love me because of the way i love her?” this post is in no way a direct reflection of how she felt about me; i just wanted to provide some context for why i feel so crushed by this.
i told her that id like to go no contact once i go to rehab. she asked if i want no contact forever or once i finish rehab. im trying to be cool about it (boygenius) so i say that whatever she wants is fine. keep in mind, she hasn’t expressed any preferences for no contact, limited contact, friends, etc. so i already felt like she didn’t really care about what happens to us. she says she will let me know when the time comes then follows up with “unless you contact me i’ll assume we’re going no contact moving forward.” as in she will assume that we won’t talk again except if i reach out first.
you can look through my post & comment history so you’ll understand what i mean when i say that i’ve been numbing myself since things ended. i’ve processed it. i’ve accepted that it is what it is. but i can’t say that it is what i wanted or that i wasn’t surprised that it ended when it did & how it did. i have no clue if she’s looked through my reddit. i guess the main takeaway is that im the one who doesn’t care about the breakup, because im talking about hook-ups, one night stands, meaningless sex, radical acceptance, hyper independence, etc. honestly i wrote on those (& this post) for me to somehow grasp the situation, and force myself to move on & keep moving forward. because why would i try to keep lighting a flame that she already blew out? & that’s completely okay. i guess i figured that because she dumped me, she’s waiting for me to move on & stop making her feel bad, so she can be relieved, so i tried to convince myself that “that’s it, what’s done is done, onto the next!” i only have the utmost love & respect for her and im so grateful i got the chance to be in her life for a short time, but ill speak for myself when i say that i have never felt so close to and so intimate with another human being. when things ended, i was angry. not at her, but at myself & at the circumstances. and now? the second i read that text about her not having a preference for whether we stay in contact or never speak again.. the tears finally came out. i haven’t cried once since the breakup. felt like i was invincible. as immature & silly as it is, i wanted to make it seem like i care less because out of my own insecurities, i felt like an inconvenience that prevented her from moving on with her life. but L, you really got me with that one. i surrender, you win. not gonna lie, reading that text stung. it really fucking hurt. just a few weeks ago, i could have never pictured my future without her in it. we were inseparable. we used to laugh about how absurd it would be if we actually broke up one day, and how we were so sure that we’d find our way back to each other someday, regardless of what was happening in our lives.
but guess what? that’s life. sometimes your actions have consequences. and what goes around does actually come right back around. i can attest to that now. i didn’t treat my disease, so of course it grew more & more until i actually picked up drugs again. i chose my addiction over the person i once thought was the love of my life. i cannot blame or hate her in any way at all for potentially never wanting to speak to me again. i cannot begin to imagine the pain ive caused her because i neglected caring for myself. there is no apology that will do it justice, what’s done is done, and now i must sit with the discomfort & pain from my own doing as a result. all i can do now is go to rehab, and more importantly, go to rehab for myself. because i don’t ever want to lose such meaningful relationships that i will never find again in my life, all due to my substance abuse & the person i become when im a slave to a drug.
L, i know this is corny as shit. and i know that you know how sorry i am for how things played out, & how i ruined everything. i am so grateful to have crossed paths with you, and you have no idea what you have done to me & my life. the world needs more people like you. i will spend the rest of my life missing you, and i highly doubt that there will ever come a day where the thought of you doesn’t cross my mind. if i could give you the moon, i would give you the moon (phoebe bridgers). and for the record, i do care. i care so so much. i remember everything. i want you to know that i will always care & if there ever comes a time you need me, you know where to find me. thank you for everything. & thank you for being you.

2024.06.02 08:41 flubb98 Toxic parents never change

To preface, I am a 26 year old female, alot of the events that I'm going to talk about occurred when I was a child, some will be more recent, but as I keep low to no contact with my parents now, there wouldn't be much to tell.
As far back as I can remember, my mom would say and do things that made me feel like I wasn't as important as my brother(s). Before my younger brother (22M) was born, if my older brother (29M) broke or damaged something, he'd blame it on me. She always believed him. Sometimes he'd pinch himself, run to our mom crying and say that I pinched him for no reason and I'd end up getting punished. If he wanted to use the PS1 (for those who remember that) and I was using it, I'd be forced to get off so he could have a turn, regardless of how little time I had been using it. The same applied to the family computer. Anything he wanted, he got.
After my little brother came into the picture I assumed my older brother would be forced to share the game systems, computer, toys etc. But I was mistaken. Instead, my mom began to spoil them both, giving them whatever they asked for. Citing their recent autism diagnosis as the reason for the special treatment. "You're the only normal one, you have to compromise on these things for your brothers because they're special." "You have to be mature and responsible because they can't." Were essentially the messages I was fed for years.
I was often the one left in charge if my parents went out, not my older brother. If I wasn't in charge, they would have our oldest brother, (32M) who was adopted by our maternal grandparents, my mom's parents, watch us. Unfortunately, he was also spoiled rotten, but by my grandparents in an attempt to make up for the fact that my mom didn't raise him. Which only fueled my older brother's need for the latest and greatest toys/games at the time. So they got into arguments all the time and I'd end up being the mediatoone in charge regardless. I always had to keep a close eye on my little brother regardless of who was left in charge also, he's not as self sufficient as my older brother and lacked the understanding that most kids his age had, so he needed constant supervision or else he'd end up getting hurt. Which happened a few times, but surprisingly only while my parents were the ones watching him.
When I was 10, my dad lost his job after a seizure (he's an epileptic) caused him to slam his face into a coffee table. He wasn't able to immediately return to work due to the damage, and was fired as a result. We were then evicted from our apartment and were forced to move in with my maternal grandmother. My grandfather had passed a few years prior so it was just her, my uncle and my oldest brother living in the house at the time. My grandmother didn't want us there, to put it simply. My uncle is the one who kept bothering her about how my mom was going to lose custody of us if we didn't have somewhere to go, and she eventually caved. But she wasn't discreet about how little she enjoyed having us there.
At 13, we were still living with my grandmother, my dad had gotten a new job and I finally got a cell phone. Not my own, but my Dad shared his with me after he'd get off work. So from the hours of 4pm to 10pm, I was a regular teen with a phone, which felt nice. One day, I had to text a friend about something related to school, so I asked my mom if I could borrow her phone to text this friend. As I was getting the info on the assignment that I needed, a text came across the screen. It was from my mom's ex Jay. Jay was the father of my two older brothers, (29M & 32M) he was also physically abusive towards my mom when they were together. I admit I shouldn't have gone through her messages, but as far as our entire family was aware, Jay wanted nothing to do with my mom or my brothers, so I was curious as to why/how my mom had his number saved, let alone why they were speaking. To my horror, my mom was flirting with and sending very explicitly worded messages about how much she wanted him and how terrible my dad was. I'll admit, neither of my parents were perfect, my mom had her favoritism of my brothers, while my dad was verbally and physically abusive towards me and my older brother, but never my little brother. My dad also cheated on my mom with a coworker shortly after I was born. Which my mom made common knowledge to us kids by the time I was 7. So our relationship as a family, was tumultuous to say the least. Nevertheless, I brought the texts to my dad, who then confronted my mom. I mean, I was a kid, I had no idea how to navigate that. So I brought it to an adult, as I thought I was supposed to. But boy, I had no idea that things would turn they way they did. My mom essentially told my dad, who barely understands technology, that the texts he thought she sent, her ex sent and that I was just trying to break them up because I hate her. He believed her. This affected me for years because she'd always use it as leverage to accuse me of lying. "Well you lied about those texts, so obviously you'd lie about this too!" I was branded a liar and to this day, despite her admitting that she was lying back then, everyone in my family just sees me as a melodramatic liar and I've come to accept that will probably never change.
At 14, one of my best friends died in a train accident. I wasn't allowed to go to his funeral because my parents had booked a vacation to see my dad's family. My parents knew that telling me no before we left would result in me sneaking out and going to the funeral anyway, so they lied to me, saying that they'd think about it and let me know in the morning before we'd leave, saying it with that tone they use when you know they're going to say yes just to make me think I'd be able to go to the funeral and avoid having to look for me. They've admitted to all of this which is even more chilling to me. The next morning, they'd already packed my luggage in the car by the time I had woken up. My dad sat down and told me in no uncertain terms that I was not going to the funeral and that I was going with them, regardless of what I thought or did. I kicked, screamed, cried, bit, everything I could possibly do to get my dad to put me down. But in the end he turned on the child safety locks and he threw me in the car with my younger brother, we left and spent 3 days with my dad's family. All the while I was made fun of and mocked for crying constantly on what was "supposed to be" a happy vacation according to my parents. My older brother didn't want to go, so he didn't have to. But apparently that only applied to him. To this day I still haven't forgiven them for that.
At 15, I was kicked out of my grandmothers house, and only my dad was against it. But in the end, I had to go live with my boyfriend because I had nowhere else to go and nothing my dad said changed the minds of my mom or grandmother. Until I turned 18, my mom would get me $100 in groceries a month, to keep me alive. (I think she was just afraid I'd report her for abandonment if she didn't atleast feed me) Even then, she would say that she couldn't afford the $100 sometimes and I'd have to get a month of food out of $50 or less.
At 18, I became pregnant. My dad was very unhappy. I had my first born and I thought we were on the road to mending our relationship.
At 21, my parents invited me and my child to their house for dinner, they also invited my boyfriend but he was unable to join us because he was tired from work, but these dinners had become a regular occurrence at this point. Unfortunately, my older brother (29M) still lives at home with them and my younger brother, so I was forced to interact with him. He ended up saying something like "Mom and Dad only put up with you because they want to see your kid." It struck a nerve with me, because it had already felt that way to me for awhile, and my parents were right there, but didn't deny what he said and I started to cry. I excused myself outside but I wasn't calming down.
For some context, back when I lived at my grandmother's house, I had regular breakdowns. My parents were constantly yelling at me or hitting me for one thing or another. I didn't have a room or a bed back then, I slept on the couch in the living room from the ages of 10-15. So when my dad would go off, he'd repeatedly slam me down into whatever surface was in the room if I tried to get up or leave the room we were in. So the couch if it was the living room, my parents bed if we were arguing in their room, etc. My mom never stopped this. Sometimes it would go on for hours, and it'd get to the point where I'd either freak out and get physical with my dad or I would start to rip out my hair and beg him to leave me alone. I was regularly laughed at by my mom or older brother and called dramatic for reacting that way during these screaming sessions.
But in that moment l, as I was crying outside, I felt like that kid again. I was small and meaningless. I wanted to go home. So I collected myself as best I could and walked inside, grabbing my son as I walked up to my parents at the dining table. I told my mom that I was sorry, but we're going home. She got as far as saying, "But we're about to have di- ." before my dad began to scream at me like I had never heard him scream before. My mom took my son into another room as soon as she saw that I was caught off guard by my dad's outburst, and locked him in my uncles bedroom. For over an hour my dad berrated me, as I could hear my son wailing for me from the other room. He kept pushing me and getting in my face, not letting me leave the dining room, he almost slapped me but for whatever reason, didn't. My mom and older brother, just like when I was a kid, stood there and laughed at my reactions. Eventually, he stopped because I said something that made him really mad, so he charged outside and left. My uncle came out of his room with my son soon after and he drove us home. I sent them a long message afterwards stating that I'm going no contact. That lasted about three years, and we've since reconnected in the past 2 years, my dad hasn't pulled anything like that, seemingly because he knows I'm serious when I say I will never speak to them again. My mom on the other hand is back on the "she's out to get me" "she hates me" train again. Anytime I ask her something, even simple yes or no questions, she sends me a novel detailing her yes or no answer. If she's saying no, she always phrases things like I'm this unhinged person who goes crazy over being told no and that she's just an innocent victim to my rage? Which is funny because regardless of what her answer is my response is always "Okay." Or "Okay, thank you." And any question is prefaced heavily with "You really don't have to if you don't want to." "It's totally fine if you cant." "It's fine if you say no, I can figure out something else if need be." I don't want to be a burden and I don't like exerting more energy than absolutely necessary, so I have no reason to try to argue with her. It's gotten to the point where we have so little contact, she has to blow up small misunderstandings that happen when we do converse. My uncle sent me a screenshot from my mom to him, which was her saying I needed to do something, I honestly don't remember what. But whatever it was, apparently my dad and my uncle were the ones who wanted me to know that, not her. Which honestly doesn't matter either way to me. But I guess she took whatever I said in response as an attack despite only saying okay or alright as a response, and I had to deal with her and my dad spamming my phone in the middle of the night trying to make this literal non issue, an issue. So I ended up replying that I have no idea why or how this had devolved into what it did, but I have nothing to do with this, and to stop messaging me about it. Surprisingly they did. Finally the most recent thing was that I had talked to my parents, in front of everyone at their house, including my boyfriend and our kids. I told them I wanted to start looking for a job and was wondering if they'd be willing to watch my now two kids for a couple of hours on some of the days that I work, just until we save enough for the down payment at a daycare for them. My main driver for this was that my mom and dad had been pushing for my kids to stay ovespend time with them so i figured if we could do that while I also work that'd really help. Nowhere in my mind do I think I am entitled to my parents help, I just thought that if they were pushing to spend time with them, that this was a perfect opportunity to do so. My parents agreed initially, but when I called them to make plans about it because I had an interview lined up, my mom said she never agreed to anything like that and that she "wasn't going to raise my kids for me." In the end, it wasn't worth an argument and I just said that she could have just said no the first time I brought it up, and I would have just started looking at alternatives for childcare. Pulling this hurtful stunt was unnecessary and cruel. And we haven't spoken much since.
Honestly I doubt they'll ever actually change, which is why I keep them at an arms length. Sorry for the rant, I just needed somewhere to put all of this.

she (21F) knows my reddit, & she’s also on this sub (to my knowledge), but at this point does it really make a difference whether she sees this or not? i’m going to try to make this short & sweet; i’m dumpee, she’s the dumper. also want to preface this by saying that i am not the victim here, ive done certain things that were the cause of why our relationship ended. to be brief, ive struggled with addiction for a while & i recently relapsed and tried to hide it from her & lie about it. we were talking about going no contact. again, after being in relationship after relationship, no contact is the most painless option to move on from your ex. personally, it would hurt me more (& this is not my ex’s fault at all lol) to stay friends, have to talk to her as just my friend, & potentially (or should i say eventually) see her with someone else, going on dates, etc. i like to stay friends with my exes, so i normally navigate breakups by immediately going no contact for a few months-year & reconnecting from there.
i’ve always sort of struggled with knowing whether my ex really cared or valued the relationship as much as i did. best way i can describe it is, “does she love me because she loves me or does she love me because of the way i love her?” this post is in no way a direct reflection of how she felt about me; i just wanted to provide some context for why i feel so crushed by this.
i told her that id like to go no contact once i go to rehab. she asked if i want no contact forever or once i finish rehab. im trying to be cool about it (boygenius) so i say that whatever she wants is fine. keep in mind, she hasn’t expressed any preferences for no contact, limited contact, friends, etc. so i already felt like she didn’t really care about what happens to us. she says she will let me know when the time comes then follows up with “unless you contact me i’ll assume we’re going no contact moving forward.” as in she will assume that we won’t talk again except if i reach out first.
you can look through my post & comment history so you’ll understand what i mean when i say that i’ve been numbing myself since things ended. i’ve processed it. i’ve accepted that it is what it is. but i can’t say that it is what i wanted or that i wasn’t surprised that it ended when it did & how it did. i have no clue if she’s looked through my reddit. i guess the main takeaway is that im the one who doesn’t care about the breakup, because im talking about hook-ups, one night stands, meaningless sex, radical acceptance, hyper independence, etc. honestly i wrote on those (& this post) for me to somehow grasp the situation, and force myself to move on & keep moving forward. because why would i try to keep lighting a flame that she already blew out?

🔗Durable DSLR Camera Case with Neoprene Exterior

https://preview.redd.it/e20685bss34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3477659f87ec3b0208121acf6263407df1dc1d9
I recently purchased the USA Gear QTL Portable DSLR Camera Case Bag, Southwest and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me. I love the vibrant southwest pattern that not only looks great but also doesn't give away the fact that there's an expensive camera inside my bag. The dimensions are perfect at 7.25 inches x 6 inches x 5.5 inches, making it a great option when I'm on the go.
One of the standout features of this case is its durable neoprene exterior. It's rugged and weather-resistant, ensuring my camera stays safe and secure no matter the conditions. The cover zippers and metal hardware provide extra protection, while the reinforced belt loop offers stability and flexibility in how I carry it.
The adjustable shoulder strap and padded hand strap make it comfortable and easy to use, whether I'm carrying it on my shoulder or hand. However, I find that the bag can feel a bit weighty when I'm carrying a DSLR with a lens attached, making it better suited for shorter outings.
The USA Gear QTL Camera Case Bag has exceeded my expectations in terms of visual appeal, sturdiness, design comfort, size, and weight. The southwest pattern adds a touch of style, while the reinforced metal buckles ensure durability and longevity. The scratch-resistant interior and padded dividers provide extra protection for my camera and lenses. Overall, this case is a perfect blend of style and functionality.
While I appreciate the beautiful design and comfortable carrying options, I wish the interior had a bit more space to accommodate additional camera accessories. Additionally, the rain cover can be challenging to use at first, but once you're familiar with it, it gets easier. Despite these minor drawbacks, I believe the USA Gear QTL Portable DSLR Camera Case Bag, Southwest is a fantastic option for photographers looking for a stylish and durable camera case.

🔗Northwest Electronics Waterproof and Impact-Resistant Camera Case

https://preview.redd.it/5p7wmbpss34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a31ffc07bd06b23805eb6da07f86d02d3bbda72a
I've recently been using the "Northwest Electronics Shielded Case" for all my outdoor adventures, and it's been a game-changer. The O-ring waterproof seal is a lifesaver when I'm near water or in humid climates, giving me peace of mind knowing my gear is safe. It fits my camera and lens perfectly, leaving no room for damage.
The automatic pressure equalization purge has been especially useful, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and ensuring everything stays snug and secure. The high impact polycarbonate hard case has saved my camera from a few accidents already, and its robust cell core with solid walls provide extra support.
Despite its durability, the case is lightweight and fits comfortably in my bag. The throw-down latches ensure everything stays in place, even during the most trying of times. Overall, I am incredibly impressed with the performance and reliability of this case.
However, one downside is that the customizable foam inserts can be a little cumbersome at first, but taking some time to measure and pre-cut everything made it much easier. All in all, I would highly recommend the Northwest Electronics Shielded Case for any adventurer looking to keep their gear safe without compromising on quality.

🔗Insta360 Gear Hard Travel Case

https://preview.redd.it/5iphym0ts34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c2e129a86fa37b208adcce54ba2893c8d9e602a6
I've been using the Hard Carrying Case for Insta360 One X/X2 in my action photography adventures, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. The first thing that caught my eye was its button closure - it's so simple yet effective at keeping my precious camera safe and secure.
One of the features I absolutely love about this case is its durability. Made with high-quality PU material, it not only gives off a stylish vibe but also provides water resistance and protection against dampness. I've been traveling with this case for many photography trips now, and my camera is always in tip-top shape thanks to the hard PU surface that keeps scratches and dings at bay.
The size of this carrying case is perfect for those who want to travel light. I can easily fit my Insta360 One X/X2 along with its frame housing inside, making it easy to toss in my backpack or carry-on luggage. Not to mention, the convex lens part design provides extra safety to my camera lens from any potential damage like scratches, dust, or scrapes.
Another great thing about this case is its versatility. Designed specifically for the Insta360 One X/X2, it can also be connected with a selfie stick or used with a tripod for better results.
There's just one downside to this case - it might be a bit too mini for some people's taste. However, I personally find the compact design extremely convenient and portable, especially when I'm on the go.
In summary, the Hard Carrying Case for Insta360 One X/X2 is an awesome companion for all my action photography needs. Its durable and stylish build, combined with its versatile design and size, make it an absolute must-have for anyone who wants to keep their camera safe and sound while exploring the world of action photography.

🔗Fully Enclosed Waterproof Case for Rylo 360

https://preview.redd.it/o943bapts34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46ff74d106463eb67e1ddb5ac61b78906d70f564
The Rylo Adventure Case is the ultimate accessory for your 360 video camera, offering full protection during all of your outdoor adventures. I've personally used this case for surfing and snowboarding, and it's kept my camera safe from scratches and dings. The case is waterproof up to 3 meters (10 feet), making it perfect for underwater shots. Included are a mounting buckle and two adhesive mounts (one flat, one curved) for securing the camera to any surface - helmets, surfboards, windows, you name it.
However, the lens protector is made from a material that can be easily scratched, which is a con for those looking for a flawless protectant. Also, the sound quality is slightly muffled when using the case, which might affect your overall experience with the camera.
Overall, the Rylo Adventure Case is a solid investment for anyone who wants to take their 360 video camera to the extremes without worrying about damaging it. The ability to use it underwater and the secure mounting options make it a must-have for any adventurer.

🔗Durable Aluminum Alloy Protective Case for GoPro HERO8 Black

https://preview.redd.it/51s0vreus34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=36884215f68c364f1ceac2c63c5245424efa9228
I recently purchased the PULUZ Aluminum Alloy Protective Case specifically designed for my GoPro HERO8 Black, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my photography adventures. The sturdy aluminum alloy case not only provides an added layer of protection to my camera but also looks incredibly sleek and professional.
One aspect I absolutely love about this case is its ability to help dissipate heat effectively. I often use my GoPro for capturing high-definition videos in various settings, and I've noticed that the camera tends to heat up quite a bit. Thanks to the efficient heat dissipation properties of the PULUZ case, however, I no longer have to worry about overheating or damaging my camera during extended shoots.
Another notable feature of this case is its compatibility with external accessories such as UV lenses and polarizing lenses. With a 52mm thread size, I can easily attach these essential photo tools to enhance the overall quality of my shots. Furthermore, the built-in 1/4-inch screw hole ensures that the case is compatible with any standard tripod, giving me more flexibility when setting up shoots.
However, there is one small issue I've encountered with the PULUZ case – it does add a bit of weight to my setup. As someone who values portability, I sometimes find myself wishing that the case were a tad lighter so that I could carry it around more comfortably. Regardless, the benefits of this protective case far outweigh the minimal inconvenience caused by its weight.
In conclusion, the PULUZ Aluminum Alloy Protective Case has significantly enhanced my GoPro HERO8 Black experience. Its durable construction, efficient heat dissipation, and compatibility with a variety of accessories make it an indispensable tool for budding photographers and adventure enthusiasts alike. While it may add a bit of weight to your camera setup, the added protection and convenience more than make up for it.

🔗TSA-Approved Waterproof Action Camera Case

https://preview.redd.it/ekr6ywzus34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a34f8e5d164759d609dfbc86a99471bb5d2ea7b
I recently had the chance to test out the Eylar Protective Hard Camera Case, and I must say, it has been a game-changer in my life. As an avid action camera user, I understand the importance of having a reliable case that not only keeps my camera safe but also makes it easy to access. This Eylar case has exceeded my expectations on both fronts.
Firstly, the size is perfect for my camera needs, with dimensions of 13.37 inches x 11.62 inches x 6 inches on the outside and a slightly smaller inner space of 11.81 inches x 8.87 inches x 5.18 inches. The rubber gasket lining ensures that my camera remains waterproof and dustproof, offering up to 1 meter of submergence protection. The customizable foam padding is a great feature, as it allows me to create a snug fit for my camera and its accessories. The case includes two customizable pull and pluck cubes, one bottom pad layer, and one top egg crate layer, providing ample protection against shocks and impacts.
Another highlight of this case is its TSA approval, which means I can take my camera with me on flights without worrying about it getting damaged or stolen. The lockable latches and fittings ensure that the case remains secure throughout my travels. The case also has a stackable design, making it easy to store and transport multiple camera cases together.
However, one downside of this case is that it does not explicitly mention the materials it is made of. It would be helpful to know whether the case is resistant to cracking or damage from the sun. Additionally, while it does meet TSA requirements, the lack of specific details about the case's warranty might concern some potential buyers.
In conclusion, the Eylar Protective Hard Camera Case has been a valuable addition to my camera equipment. Its ability to keep my camera safe from water, dust, and shocks, along with its TSA approval and customizable foam padding, make it stand out among other options on the market. Although it could benefit from more detailed information about its materials and warranty, its overall performance and usability make it a worthwhile investment for action camera enthusiasts like myself.

🔗Soft Silicone Protective Case for GoPro Hero 9 Black

https://preview.redd.it/72acphivs34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2340c0ba5db10676d26fd6ad26c5d34905860e9a
As an avid adventurer and photography enthusiast, I've always been on the lookout for the best accessories to protect and enhance the performance of my GoPro Hero 9 Black camera. When I came across the TELESIN Action Camera Protective Case Cover, I knew I had to give it a try, and it didn't disappoint!
Firstly, the customized shape of the case ensures it fits my GoPro like a glove, with no gaps, providing maximum protection from scratches and dust. The premium soft silicone material not only gives the case a delicate appearance, but it also feels incredibly comfortable and smooth to touch. I love how it safeguards my camera's delicate lens, preserving its brand-new condition.
One feature I truly appreciated is the easily detached lanyard. Not only does it allow me to either hang the camera around my neck for easy accessibility, but I can also wrap it around my wrist for secure and comfortable handling during intense action shots.
However, it's important to note that this case is specifically designed for the GoPro Hero 9 Black only, so other models won't be compatible.
Overall, the TELESIN Action Camera Protective Case Cover has significantly improved my photography experience, providing peace of mind knowing that my GoPro Hero 9 Black is well-protected and ready for action.

🔗Waterproof and Durable Action Shot Camera Case

https://preview.redd.it/d5jkjh2ws34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b35b88a739e37c9f69916417a6c60538db5bc4a
I recently got my hands on the Action Shot Water Proof Case, primarily to protect my trusty Action Shot camera during my adventurous outdoor excursions. I must say, it has been a game changer!
The first thing that impressed me was its solid build. The rugged design can easily withstand impact and falls, giving me the peace of mind when I'm out capturing extreme shots. Even more impressive is the all-weather sealing feature that keeps my camera dry and safe, irrespective of whether I'm jumping into a pool or attacking the waves on my surfboard.
The easy Click & Grip mounting system is definitely a highlight. It's compatible with all Action Shot mounting hardware, which makes it incredibly convenient to switch between different mounts based on my requirement.
However, as with any product, it does have its shortcomings. The case isn't as water-proof as advertised. I've had a couple of instances where water somehow managed to seep in despite being fully sealed. Additionally, the case's depth doesn't seem to match the 10ft/3meter specification, so that's another point of contention.
All in all, I believe the Action Shot Water Proof Case is a decent accessory for those looking to safeguard their cameras in harsh environments. The robust design and easy mounting system make it versatile, but the lack of proper water-proofing is something that needs improvement.

🔗Stylish Forest Green Camcorder Bag

https://preview.redd.it/1jwyjsews34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=083bc325c400363c574e9aefe3b90619cd2bc117
I recently got the Vangoddy Laurel Forest Green Sport and Action Camera Compact Camera Case to house my precious camera and related gear. As an avid adventurer and storyteller, I need a case that not only provides the utmost protection, but also keeps my camera and its accessories easily accessible.
Ever since I got this case, it's been a game-changer. The nylon material feels secure and sturdy, offering a sense of confidence that my camera is well protected, especially when I'm hiking through rugged terrains or surfing wild waves. Interestingly, its unique padded fold out camera compartment provides an impressive level of protection that has kept my camera safe from any accidents.
One of the things I love about this case is the rear pockets. They allow me to swiftly access my SD memory cards, cables, chargers - the list goes on. This quick access feature has saved me from countless missed photo opportunities. And, when it comes to carrying this case, the adjustable, removable shoulder strap with extra padding has made my travel experience incredibly comfortable.
However, one minor drawback is space for accessories. As a heavy-duty traveler, I pack quite a bit for my photography trips. So, while this case is fantastic, it might not have enough space to cater to all the accessories I might need.
All in all, I'd say the Vangoddy Laurel Forest Green Sport and Action Camera Compact Camera Case is a must-have for photographers or videographers on the go. Its high-quality material, superior protection features, and convenience, make it worth every penny.
So, the next time you hit the road with your action camera, don't forget to pack yours. You won't regret it!

I can personally attest to the convenience and efficiency of the Vivitar Hard-Shell Case for GoPro Action Cameras. . As an avid action camera enthusiast, I've often struggled with managing and transporting my ever-growing collection of accessories. .
This case, with its robust hard-shell construction and thoughtfully designed divided compartments, has been a game-changer. . No more scratched lenses or misplaced memory cards! . Plus, the simplified carrying strap means I can quickly grab my case and go. .
My only minor complaint is that the netted top pocket could be a tad bigger, but overall, this case has made my action camera adventures much smoother. .
