2024.06.02 06:05 Purple-Supermarket27 ABYG nag-away kaming mag-asawa bc I lost a ring that was not even ours in the first place

We asked everyone in the event about it if sa kanila pero walang umangkin so we decided to keep it na lang muna, at first, hopeful na may maghanap. It's been months and wala talaga naghanap sa place ng fam side ko so we agreed na ipa-appraise and isangla when needed. I kept it sa lagayan ng barya ng wallet ko.
Ngayon, nawala ko siya. Tumatanggap ako ng parcel sa rider while karga ko toddler namin plus kausap ko pa hubby ko sa phone that time kaya di ko napansin na bukas pala lagayan ng barya ng wallet ko. Nagsilaglagan yung barya then di ko naalala agad that time na nandon nga pala yung ring.
Minura niya ako and pinalayas, pinauwi samin. Til now di kami nag-uusap, because I was so hurt sa lahat ng sinabi at ginawa niya for losing something that was not even ours to keep. Nagwala pa siya nagbasag pa ng gamit namin, our toddler was so scared. For the first time, nafeel ko sa kanya na parang I'm in danger around him.
To add: Yes, may anger issues siya. Kapag galit siya gusto niya suyuin ko siya agad and mag-usap agad kami kahit habang mainit ulo niya while ako nagrresort to silent treatment because all my life I was verbally abused by my dad and naglalash out din palagi samin na daughters niya. Trauma ko yung sinisigawan ako, away man o hindi, and he knows it. This had happened many times na sisigawan ako at sasabihan ako ng kung ano ano over little things, makakalimutin din kasi ako, marami ako fault sa bahay (e.g. naiwan bukas ilaw sa cr, naiwan bukas gripo) pero that's because makakalimutin lang talaga ako and that doesn't mean I'm not responsible.
I can't make myself accountable if you can't even regulate yourself while we're talking.

Must-have Spanish songs at a family gathering?

Hola!
Hello! We host birthday parties for kids at my job, and I want to make a playlist with some family-friendly songs for the hispanic families that come in. That means lyrics that have no cussing and are not too suggestive. Classics are welcome, anything that fits the older generation but is also nice for the kids. Something that’s up beat as well. The majority are Mexicans or descendants. Don’t know of that helps.

2024.05.29 20:11 cho-co21 College besties turns into strangers

I want to share something lang, ilang years na din nakalipas siguro mag 8 years na next month. I have a group of friends actually besties ko nung college.
Kung busy man may GC kami active siya chat VC ganun, tapos nagkikita pasko or pag may time. We used to be friends from college then year 2016 happened. I have a work 12 hours siya so busy ako kasi sobrang nakaka pagod/puyat as factory worker. Draining pa kasi di ba kapag pagod utusan nakikita agad if may mali. So pag uwi ko pagod talaga.
Basta sila lang kaagapay ko that time kasi baguhan kami. Sila lang kasama ko pag pasok, break time at uwian. Times goes by, dun ko din nakilala ko partner ko till now kami padin. Siyempre nag paligaw ako no sa bahay hehe. Since busy nga minsan alang time talaga.
Month of May nagkayayaan swimming. May pasok ako that time from 6am to 6pm imagine pagod ka minsan nakatayo ka pa sa work. That time diko nareplyan I think pauwi ako non tapos my Bf sumama pauwi kasi hatid sundo ako. Inantay ko muna si papa tapos paalam ako swimming with friends HINDI AKO PINAYAGAN nag pumilit ako. Ayaw talaga.
Since only girl, hirap talaga ako when it comes to paalam sa parents. Di ako nakaka alis nun ng di nag papa alam. Ayos lang I respect my parents sobra. Tapos ilang paalam ayaw talaga hanggang maiiyak nako di ubra talaga.
Pinicturan niya ako then i post it on FB watching yung kay jennelyn and john lloyd movie. Btw, this is unplanned date or pag labas kasi nag mukmok lang ako. As in ginost nila ako hindi na active GC namin. They create another gc na wala ako. Talking sht abt me ;(
At first, Idk the reason why as in clueless ako. One time nakakita ako post nila sa fb feed, "new found friend/s". Tapos naki fiesta wala ako di ako ininvite. Knowing them, they talk alot of sht with other ppl.
Nung nalaman ko reason nila. I call them even sa GC wala sumasagot. Grabe nasa palengke ako with mama iyak ako tapos para di mahalata nauuna ako mag lakad. Nalaman ko pa dahil daw sineen ko msgs nila or Pm nila that night. Alam mo ba yung feeling na you can't explain yourself kasi dika pinayagan.
Then lumipas nga yung time (diko alam ganu katagal) na kinukulit ko sila. People pleaser pa ako that time.
Kwentuhan kami about sa nangyari. Tapos siya pa daw nag iinsisist at maraming sinasabi about sakin. Which is di ko matanggap nung una. Kilala mo ba ako? Napapamura talaga ako before pag maalala ko.. Nagka problema yan dinamayan pa namin as in 2 kami pumunta sakanila kahit gabi na.
Hindi ko alam magiging close sila ganun. Close naman sila samin not that thing na may masasabi ka sakin kahit ala ako ginawang masama sayo. You chose a side na puro hate sinasabi sakin you don't even think na baka one sided lang. Dahil ba wala ka ng friend that time. Well, naka move on na ako.
I tried my best. But they didn't want to hear my side. Idk if kaya ko pa i forget after akong ma hurt ng sobra. Nagka roon pa rin ako ng friends after pero if iwanan ako or dimo ako pansin. Keri lang.. I'm not going to please anyone. Never na mag b-beg for someone na mag stay. I love myself more, I care for my family and for some friends na nag stay beside me.
..We were still friends on social media. That's all.
Thank you for everything. I am the best version of myself now. Tamang reddit lang HAHAHA basa basa.

2024.05.24 12:31 Direct_Injury_8273 I don't know if I want to continue or not

☐ I guess its better to share it here since no one knows me. Is it the right choice? I 17M am planning to stop my relationship with my situationship 17F. Let's start from the beginning. It was November 29 and I already gave up on finding a girl. I went to multiple dating apps and it never really ended in a date or a girlfriend. One day, there was an event at school. Some people from Negros from the same school came and had a Caroling for their fundraising. I was watching and to set a light tone I clapped and others clapped even if they were just preparing. I only saw one pretty girl. We had some conversations with the group and they left and got back next morning to their hometown. The next day I received a friend request. She's kinda decent but I said fuck it let's find someone one last time. She seemed familiar and I asked if she was one of the carolers. And she said yes. I remember seeing her smile but then looked away after. I joked with her saying that I'm thinking of someone and then made her guess. I did that trick and did some pick up lines. She was furious with me telling her guess. But that made her interested I think. I even asked her to pick what to call her and said baby HAHHAHA. So that's why even if it's 3 days I called her baby. I asked her to call me and then she did. Well it wasn't verbal but we got to know each other. We called at late nights. Everyday we updated each other and talked romantically or jokingly. And I kept coming up with making her guess and made her mad sometimes HAHAHA. It felt as if we were moving fast. She would ask about my day and I ask about hers. But sometimes her closeness makes me want to pull away because I thought it was needy. So it was Christmas break and I had to go home from my boarding house. When I get home I tend to focus on myself which I sometimes avoid my girl. Now I started to notice things about my personality and found out I have avoidant attachment. On Christmas eve we somehow had a fight about something trivial and nagtampo ako until Christmas. Tapos nag call kami nung new year. NBSB sya. Tapos ako I understand naman pero you'll know in some parts of the paragraph. Ayun nag usap kami hanggang 3am tas una ko sinabihan I love you pero di siya mahilig mag u love you HAHHAHA. times went by mabilis Lang Yung panahon. I had some gigs tas she supported me tas nag update ako sa gym and school works. Sabi niya I try daw pero di nakacall. Ayun back to routine update tas pa kilig tas call once every 2 weeks. Pero after non may practice kami ba. Like sugurin Yung mga challenges. Tapos Sabi nya I end nalang daw kase di nya Kaya talaga mag commit. Pero ako sinave ko talaga. I understand nalang Yun. Ayun goods na ulit. Tapos nagcall kami one time. Minsan Lang talaga nakacall mga 1 or 2 every month ba kahit may load. So after nun may holy week na. Like magkita na kami. Tas nag plan kami. Ayun back to routine. Inlove na rin ako nun. Nag nung march nag apply ako ng ojt. Update dito update Doon. From 8-5 work kami. Tapos nag post sya sa TikTok ng don't tell your girlfriend Yung may pa twerk ba. Tapos ayun kaunti na Yung chats namin. Nasa 6 months na kami. Sabi ko I communicate anong naramdaman mo. Pero ayaw nya talaga. Mahirapan siya or ayaw Lang talaga niya. Nag sorry ako kase wala akong time ba kailangan ko pa Magluto tas mainit sa work tas physically exhausting. Tapos sinabi ko if pagod kana sabihin mo. Tas Sabi niya I end nadaw. Kase ilang mention nadaw Yung end. Kaya ayun down ako non. Tinry ko I feel Yung emotions. Ni agree ako in goodwill. Nag move on na ako nun. Tapos after 1 week bumalik siya. Of course nag chat kami ulit. Nag pa notes sya ng the one that got away. Tas Beatles. Kase pag I fix daw namin babalik daw Yung same issues. Parang gusto na talaga I end. Worth it ba to?

Minsan Lang talaga nakacall mga 1 or 2 every month ba kahit may load. So after nun may holy week na. Like magkita na kami. Tas nag plan kami. Ayun back to routine. Inlove na rin ako nun. Nag nung march nag apply ako ng ojt. Update dito update Doon. From 8-5 work kami. Tapos nag post sya sa TikTok ng don't tell your girlfriend Yung may pa twerk ba. Tapos ayun kaunti na Yung chats namin. Nasa 6 months na kami. Sabi ko I communicate anong naramdaman mo. Pero ayaw nya talaga. Mahirapan siya or ayaw Lang talaga niya. Nag sorry ako kase wala akong time ba kailangan ko pa Magluto tas mainit sa work tas physically exhausting. Tapos sinabi ko if pagod kana sabihin mo. Tas Sabi niya I end nadaw. Kase ilang mention nadaw Yung end. Kaya ayun down ako non. Tinry ko I feel Yung emotions. Ni agree ako in goodwill. Nag move on na ako nun. Tapos after 1 week bumalik siya. Of course nag chat kami ulit. Nag pa notes sya ng the one that got away. Tas Beatles. Kase pag I fix daw namin babalik daw Yung same issues. Parang gusto na talaga I end. Worth it ba to?

2024.05.23 22:02 Troy420420 Solo trip to Colombia- good idea or bad idea ? viaje en solitario a Colombia: buena o mala idea

I am thinking about booking a 3 or 4 day trip to Bogota for some night life fun with the beautiful Colombian women. I am divorced and just am looking for some fun and love. I feel like I am the prime target to get robbed. I will be bringing a girl or girls back to my room, not a big drinker but I do enjoy other white substances and may party in that. Am I just setting myself up for something bad to happen to me? Is it worth the risk? Can I make it two or three days in Bogota and have a lot of fun with nothing bad happening to me? If I only party and play during the day, would that make a difference instead of at night ?

2024.05.22 04:50 DefiantVariation212 ABYG na icut off ko lahat ng communication ko with my husband’s family?

I 28F and my husband 29F has a very complicated relationship with his family. 7 years ago ng magbf and gf palang kami ayaw na sakin ng mga kapatid niya. 2 ate at 2 kuya at siya yung bunso, and yung mom nila have illness na bedridden. We were graduates na when I got pregnant with our baby girl and also working na. The moment na nagpositive ako sa pt in a span of 2 days na nalaman namin we told each families na at bumukod agad kami kahit na wala kami ipon that time. We were struggling at wala kami ipon kundi sahod lang but I stand my ground na I cant live in their house and I will not be comfortable. FYI all her ates and kuyas have their own families na yung sumunod na kuya sakanya may asawa na but walang anak but lahat ng yun living on the same roof so just imagine the chaos lalo na if dun kami at ayaw nila sakin. Yung ates and kuyas niya nagrereachout sakin na how they dont like our relationship na tutulong daw yung asawa ko sakanila and wag magseryoso muna. They even message my parents na kung ano masamang sinasabi between our relationship. His kuyas message me also na how my husband changed and seemed distant to them when I came. For the record, lahat ng utos sa bahay paglalaba up to paglilinis ng bahay nakatoka sakanya hanggang sa pagbabayad ng electric bills kahit na yung mga pamilya ng kapatid niya halos malaki nacoconsume sa electricity since dun sila lahat nakatira and nakakagamit lang siya ng electricity paguuwi galing work at matutulog. To cut the story short napagod siya sa ganung set up kahit bedsheet ng mga family ng kuya at ate niya siya pinaglalaba. They did not hear anything from me I just ignored them and ayoko ng stress kase buntis ako nun. Also grateful ako sa husband ko na never ko nafeel na di niya ako pinaglaban sa fam niya.
My whole pregnancy is comfortable and happy kahit na halos kama at electric fan lang meron kami nung una we managed to move to a bigger home nung 6 months ako and nagkokompleto ng gamit sa bahay and saving up for my delivery. My whole pregnancy is stress free wala kaming tulong nakuha sa family ng husband ko but my family is supportive in all ways except financial because I won’t let them. Parang yung mindset kase namin we did this to ourselves building a family and gusto namin kami magprovide sa lahat kahit medyo nagihirapan at times. I know mapride kami talaga but may gusto lang kami patunayan na kahit 22 kami nagfamily eh kaya namin. Mga 1 year old si baby namin nagrereachout kami sakanila if kamusta parents niya and decided to visit them (we live na kase sa province since VA kami mas quality life unlike in the metro) Nagbook ako rt tix and spend 4 days in manila. I also booked hotel accommodation since alam ko wala kami matutulugan dun and pagdating namin kahit alam ng papa niya di sila prepared tho nagheadsup na kami darating kami like typical day. Pinansin naman nila anak ko but my whole stay para akong hangin doon.
We visited them atleast twice a year wala hostile pa rin sila. For 6 years I remembered every occasion sakanila bdays ng parents, mothers day, fathers day, christmas and new year walang paltos lagi ako nagpapadala kahit yung asawa ko sinasabi wag na. Kahit minsan nakikita niya sa my day na naospital yung apo niya di man lang kamustahin.
ABYG if blinocked ko sila?

21 yrs old ako currently nag aaral parin sa university so me and my sister in law had a fight before pero di ganto kalala she’s being so rude towards my mother.
So ayun i still talk to them treat them nicely kahit ang dami dami kong naririnig na balita na sinisiraan nila ako etc. Well we still have a beef kasi di sya nag lilinis ng bahay (take note bahay to ng nanay ko and di sya nahihiya na ganun kakalat ang bahay kahit nakikitira lang sya) kahit cr manlang sana ang linisin di magawa naka dorm kasi ako malayo ang bahay namin sa university lingguhan ako umuwi samin and every time na uuwi ako need ko mag linis ng bahay kasi as in parang binagyo ang bahay i have allergies kaya ayoko ng magabok na bahay yung cr namin mukang public cubicle na sa dumi we have yellow walls sa cr at dahil di na siguro nalilinis naging orange na we have blue tiles na nagiging brown na yung damit nila hinahayaan lang nila sa cr na mabasa hanggang bumaho na lagi ko naman sinasabi sa kanila na tagtagin nila ang damit nila sa cr nakasi ang baho but ang ginagawa lang nila ay wala so even na umuuwi ako dati ang nililinis ko na lang ay cr at nilalagay ang damit nila sa mag sulok bahala na sila. Even at my brother nagagalit na ako kasi it always triggers my allergies pag umuuwi ako but parang wala lang sakanila yun.
Before all of this happened me and my cousin drink one on one we talk a lot then naalala ko na i shared something to her na hindi na kami nag iinuman nung asawa ng pinsan ko because she did something and say something that offended us. March 28 nag swimming kaming mag pipinsan at kasama namin yung nakainuman kong pinsan ko (btw she’s just 16 or 17) still not legally allowed to drink kasama din namin yung ate nya. I tried so hard na makisali sya samin without drinking or anything pero di talaga sya nakikisali a few day after ng swimming namin nakita ko silang nag paparinig sa fb and day mga first week ng april yun. I shrugged it off kasi hindi ko naman alam kung sino nanaman pinaparinggan nila pero napansin ko isa sa shared post nila ay “gaya gaya” daw so i think ako to. Inintay kong kausapin nila ako kasi baka gusto lang nila since they never heard my side.
I think madami pa syang dinagdag kasi as in gigil na gigil sakin yung dalawa. Eto namang asawa ng pinsan ko hindi ko alam kung bakit nagagalit sakin e ang sinabi ko lang naman ay ayoko na syang makainuman because of something she did and say she really disrespectful toward some people she always say na prangka sya no she’s so disrespectful na umaabot sa punto na kahit di nya kilala kung ano anong sinasabi nya. They disrespected me at social media call me names (well sanay na ako na mahilig silang mang body shame at mang lait talaga). They also make fun of me saying that i stink im very hygienic person so hindi ko alam kung saan nila nakuha yun e sila nga tong gumagamit ng sabon pang hugas ng private area nila tas pang hugas pa ng muka nila. Hanggang ngayon di parin nila ako kinaka-usap about dun pero sa lahat ng nakita kong mangungutya nila sakin sa socmed i had enough no more bigger person bahala na sila. And for my cousin na kung ano anong paninira ang ginawa sakin and now nag papaawa na hindi ko daw sya kinakausap haha hanap na syang kakampi nya and i hope i really hope na worth it lahat ng pinag gagawa nya.
Btw she really had a guts na mag patulong sakin sa research nya after lahat lahat ng mga ginawa nya sakin one of them said na b0b0 ako so bakit di sya mag patulong dun. And it’s funny na sabihan ako ng b0b0 e hinahanap nga nya ang RRL sa chatgpt HAHAHA
Abyg dahil di ko na nga pinapasin sila until now?

2024.05.17 17:39 kittyydoran Why por not para?

'Fui a la tienda por unas cerezas.'
Why is it 'por' and not 'para'? Because in my mind the cherries are the purpose of the trip to the shop, not the cause.
But then DeepL says I can 'Fui a la casa de mi amigo para una fiesta' - why is this a purpose and not a cause?
The distinction between the two is very unclear to me and was wondering if anyone has a better way for thinking about these two discrete categories.

2024.05.16 10:18 mvelmambaje FIESTA PRIME RESERVATION

Hello. I have a reserved unit with Fiesta Prime na binayaran namin last year. Now po, naghihingi na sila ng documentary requirements for Pag-ibig loan processing and property turnover.
Now, 2 times na nagpadala ng letter ang Fiesta na my payments will be forfeited if I am not able to submit the requirements within a few days. One of the documents needed kasi is the birth certificate of my co-borrower which is my father. Wala rin silang binigay na alternative document na pwede namin ipasa in lieu of the annotated bc like affidavit.

Hello everyone! I came with a question about a story that I read about 4 years ago but now I can't find it, it was about a boy who transformed into a zombie but still maintained consciousness, at first he couldn't speak and after meeting someone who gave him a type of rubber square on the neck could I do it again, He also had a relationship between him and his best friend who had not been infected, at the beginning of the story he was going to a party where he was infected, he was in his car until he crashed and the next day he arrived home where he found his mother and her sister already eaten, after that he wanders until he finds more zombies and then people with whom he communicates very little because his throat was broken, there they cure him so that they can talk again and the story continues. I would like to know if anyone here also remembers the story, knows the name or what happened to it, thank you very much

2024.05.15 18:50 BaraaBilalPal What is the Subjunctive Mood in Spanish

Understanding the Subjunctive Mood in Spanish

The subjunctive mood in Spanish is used to express doubt, emotion, desire, necessity, or uncertainty. Unlike the indicative mood, which states facts, the subjunctive mood deals with situations that are hypothetical, desired, or contingent on other actions. Here are some key points to understand its usage:
  1. Expression of Doubt or Uncertainty:
      • Translation: I doubt that he will come to the party.
  2. Wishes or Desires:
    • Example: Quiero que tú seas feliz.
      • Translation: I want you to be happy.
  3. Emotions:
      • Translation: I'm glad that you like the food.
  4. Necessity or Obligation:
      • Translation: It is necessary that you study for the exam.
  5. After Certain Conjunctions:
      • Translation: I'll go to the party provided that you go too.

Conjugation in the Subjunctive Mood

For regular verbs, the present subjunctive is formed by taking the first person singular (yo) form of the present indicative, dropping the -o ending, and adding the following endings:

Understanding "Vosotros" and "Ustedes" in Spanish
When learning Spanish, it's crucial to understand the different ways to say "you" in plural form. Spanish has two main forms for "you all" or "you guys": "vosotros" and "ustedes." These forms vary depending on the region and formality. Let's dive into these plural "you" forms and when to use each one.

Vosotros

Usage: - "Vosotros" is primarily used in Spain. - It is the informal way to address a group of people you are familiar with, such as friends, family, or peers.
Conjugation Example: - Hablar (to speak): Vosotros habláis (You all speak) - Comer (to eat): Vosotros coméis (You all eat) - Vivir (to live): Vosotros vivís (You all live)
Example Sentence: - Vosotros sois mis mejores amigos. (You all are my best friends.)

Ustedes

Usage: - "Ustedes" is used both in Latin America and Spain. - It serves a dual purpose, being used for formal and informal contexts in Latin America, while in Spain, it is mainly reserved for formal situations.
Conjugation Example: - Hablar (to speak): Ustedes hablan (You all speak) - Comer (to eat): Ustedes comen (You all eat) - Vivir (to live): Ustedes viven (You all live)

How Are Reflexive Pronouns Used in Spanish?

¡Hola, amigos! Today, we'll dive into an essential part of Spanish grammar: reflexive pronouns. Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and the object of a verb are the same, meaning the action of the verb reflects back on the subject. In English, we express this concept with words like "myself," "yourself," "himself," etc.
In Spanish, these pronouns are:
Here is how reflexive pronouns are used:
  1. Present Simple Tense: Yo me lavo. - I wash myself. Tú te lavas. - You wash yourself. Él/ella/usted se lava. - He/she/you (formal) washes himself/herself/yourself. Nosotros nos lavamos. - We wash ourselves. Vosotros os laváis. - You all (informal Spain) wash yourselves. Ellos/ellas/ustedes se lavan. - They/you all (formal) wash themselves/yourselves.
  2. Infinitive Verbs: Vamos a lavarnos. - We are going to wash ourselves. (Note how the reflexive pronoun is attached to the infinitive verb.)
  3. Commands: Lávate las manos. - Wash your hands (yourself). Lávense las manos. - Wash your hands (yourselves).
  4. Gerunds: Estoy lavándome. - I am washing myself. (Here, the reflexive pronoun is attached to the gerund.)

Practice with Pal

Reflexive pronouns might seem tricky at first, but practice makes perfect. With Pal on WhatsApp, you can make reflexive pronouns second nature.

Les doy un ejemplo para que entiendan;

2024.05.02 02:56 pish2826 NAGDALA NG SAMPUNG KASAMA SI BISITA NA HINDI NAMAN INIMBITA! HALA?!!!!

So, fiesta kase samin nong nakaraan and hindi kami nag-invite ng mga bisita kase maliit lang budget this year. Close family members and friends lang inimbita namin and enough lang yung handa para sa kanila.
The day went by ng maayos naman, smooth, di nagkaproblem.
Bigla na lang nagpop out of nowhere!! GANON!
YAWA!!
BAKIT MAY MGA GANITONG KLASENG TAO? ALAM KONG FIESTA PERO GANON BA TALAGA MAY BAONG MGA KASAMA?! SA TANANG BUHAY KO NGAYON LANG AKO NAKARANAS NG GANITO. HAYUPPPP! KAGIGEL E!!!
FIRST TIME PO NG FAMILY NAMIN NA MARANASAN TO, so hindi rin talaga namin alam ang gagawin. Never pa po kami nagreject ng bisita.

We cordially invite you to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Kyoto with Democrats Abroad Japan.

We hope to honor and share the rich traditions of Cinco de Mayo, foster connections within the international community, and assist Americans in registering to vote.
