It was around 2014 - 2016. I used to play this old mobile games it features a wooden mannequin with a top hat and monocle. The goal was quite simple to walk your character to the end of the level. The controls was easy enough blue/red button correspondence with left/right leg. FTM had my baby boy at 39 weeks and 6 days! The first sign was period like cramps throughout the night. Woke up and felt super constipated. It wasn’t super obvious that I was feeling contractions and not constipation at first. Took me about an hour to realize it was labor as the contractions got worse. Went into labor around 730 am and had him at 11pm the same day. No epidural but used the nitrous oxide. The contractions were painful but honestly more uncomfortable than anything. It is so hard to find a position to get through them easily but for me, the nitrous oxide REALLY helped and I didn’t feel I needed an epidural at all.
I had my husband and mom with me and we hung out in the hospital room from 10am until delivery was over. The day surprisingly went by SO FAST. It was nice to be able to get up and move around freely and we ordered room service a few times and it was actually pretty good! All the nurses were amazing and so super friendly.
Okay but here’s the thing - the pushing. My labor is broken up into two parts in my head- the contractions and then the PUSHING. In hindsight, I realize I was completely unprepared for what I was about to go through. I pushed for two hours, which apparently isn’t even that long for a first time mom. And let me tell you - I did not expect it to hurt as much as it did. I gave birth four days ago and I’m still in shock at the experience. I know everyone says how painful it is….but that was something else. If you are a FTM planning to do no epidural, spend some time preparing your pain tolerance however you can. I wish I had squeezed more ice cubes or done whatever other things the internet says will help. It was such a crazy experience there were points I thought I really truly couldn’t do it (obviously at that point you have no choice 😂) but I really felt like I was going to pass out from the pain. I can’t put into words what I was feeling to give it justice. Just try to prepare yourself. My mother, who has had three kids with epidurals, told me she couldn’t feel any of the things I was describing. And those things were the most painful parts. I don’t say this to encourage people to get an epidural - I say it so you can be more prepared than me. I feel like I was blind sided even though everyone says how painful it is.
Something else I wasn’t prepared for - the blood. It is a lot. Today I stood up from the toilet and a blood clot the size of a baseball fell out of me. (I called my OB, not of concern due to no bleeding following). They say clots the size of a ping pong ball or smaller are to be expected. It’s crazy. They just fall right out. I’m filling adult diapers with more blood than I expected and my vagina is currently unrecognizable. At the hospital they constantly checked my uterus by pressing down and clots of blood just flew out. Something no one ever told me beforehand.
That all being said - I would do it again in a heartbeat. I type this out as my beautiful baby is skin to skin with me sleeping on my chest. Child birth was an amazing experience even if parts of it were extremely difficult. The most difficult thing I have done in my life. The recovery is more than I anticipated, and I am so grateful to have my husband helping. It really is amazing what our bodies are capable of.
Our baby is happy and healthy now, but we did have some unexpected hiccups along the way. Our second night at the hospital was not easy and I thank God my baby is okay. There is some trauma I am still processing as a newly postpartum mom and I look back on my experience in awe that this happens every day thousands of times a day. Women have their own birth stories of challenges and feats along the way that they live with forever, and it is just seen as something so normal or ordinary for a woman to do. I have found such a new respect for all moms out there. This has been a crazy experience already and I am just in shock trying to process at how much love I feel for this tiny human I brought into the world. So surreal. Being a mom really is the best feeling I’ve ever had.

Ever since we’ve started with purées (and eventually solids), my LO makes this grunting noise that just gets under my skin whenever he sees food/anyone eating & it lasts the entire time there isn’t any food in his mouth.
This is the only time he makes the noise and I genuinely just wish it would stop. It’s so unbearable. 😩 Has anyone experienced/is experiencing this? How do you combat it? I’m 100% it’s his way of saying “more,” but low noises that vibrate (his grunting) really hurt, like I feel it in my body, and it just makes me feel not good at all.
Side note: I’ve been doing teaching him ASL as well from day 1.

It goes on the front, right in front of the pinkie ring. In the middle, I have a lead pipe that goes into the top pipe to put the instrument into the key of A. On the right, I have the tuning slide, which is removed and replaced by a curled lead pipe to put the instrument into the key of C. The red circles show where the A/Bb lead pipe (top) would go, as well as where the tuning slide used to be. Not pictured is the Bb lead pipe, which was missing. The mouth piece is not original, but is very small. The instrument could still use an even smaller mouth piece, such as one for a French Horn. I picked up this cornet yesterday from someone on Facebook Marketplace for a very discounted price from what it could be and the proceeds are going towards helping polio survivors. Yes the boots are real snake skin. Part of a costume for a play at my local theatre, in which I do perform with the cornet. If anyone has information on this instrument that I don’t already know, it would be much appreciated! |

Pretty much what the title says. I was laid off a month back and now just am starting my new job in a week. I don’t have any insurance because of the gap in employment, and am so strapped for money I barely have enough for food.
I just noticed white spots in my mouth near my throat, and my throat has been sore the last few days. Honestly I thought it was because I was just getting over a cold but the more I look the more I think it’s strep throat. I’m not showing many other symptoms other than my throat being irritated and red/white spots.
Now because I lack insurance, and have practically no money, I was wondering what I could do to help kick this at home? If I do need to go to get antibiotics to kick this, I was also wondering if anyone had any advice on the cheapest clinic possible or any tips and tricks. I wanted to do telehelp, but I realized I can’t get diagnosed with strep virtually.

I remember when he finally blew up because of jeffy in like 2016/17 a lot of the og fans hated it because of how repetitive the jokes were getting and how annoying the jokes were becoming. But at least he was spending time thoughtfully crafting the videos and trying new things (animations, green screen, new characters and themes, ect.) But since late 2019-now it’s basically just Logan doing everything content related in order to make money instead of making the content better. The whole adpocolypse took a toll on his mental health too because he was afraid he would be unable to pay off all of his super cars and his big ass house so he probably figured that around 2020 it was easier to just follow the same formula for videos and stick to that (ie red couch videos and jeffy).

Who did they skin? There aren’t a lot of options–it’s unlikely to be Marika, as she seems to have her skin. It is none of Marika’s demigod children, as Godwyn is known as the first recorded death of a demigod, and we know for a fact that he died long after the Godskin Apostles were already active.
To quickly define our terms, Finger Reader Enia seems to use the term “god” very specifically to mean the person who is holder of the Elden Ring.
Our list has been cut down to a very small list of possible entities the Godskin Apostles could have taken the skin from. The only other god during this time period that has been implied in the lore would be whoever held the Elden Ring before Marika, which the community currently suspects is the Gloam-Eyed Queen herself (or, at least an entity she serves) based on the recent DLC trailers. I believe it would be rather difficult to swaddle newborns and clothe multiple very large Apostles with just one godly person’s skin… unless they were able to regrow it, like a snake can.

These guys have always been snake-themed–that much is obvious–so it would be weird if their confirmed leader, the Gloam-Eyed Queen, wasn’t also serpent-themed in some way. This is my 3rd time on Citalopram. Previously responded to 10mg and 20mg.
This time around I had a pharmacogenetics test done and the results came back as precaution for Citalopram, Escitalopram (Lexapro) and Sertraline. Means I'm more at risk of adverse effects, and I should consider slow titration up and lower than standard maintenance doses.
This fits with what I've experienced with Citalopram personally. When starting, I get all the side effects, insomnia, light headedness, mild drowsiness, dry mouth, increased depression, and they persist longer than usual (8 weeks, not so much the depression). Might explain also why I take a while to respond (12 weeks) unlike a number of reviews I've seen where people are saying even after 2 weeks they're feeling much better.
I've been on 10mg for nearly 6 weeks, I've made small improvements so I'm sticking with it, but interesting results none-the-less.

I’ve had really severe KP on my arms for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried absolutely every lotion, scrub, cream and every exfoliant imaginable (lactic acid, urea, glycolic, tretinoin prescribed by a dermatologist, salicylic, to name a few.) I’ve been consistent with everything I’ve tried in order to make sure I’m giving each product a fair shot. I’ve tried dry brushing… Absolutely nothing works.
I’m horribly embarrassed about my arms. I’m very fair so the redness of the bumps is super noticeable. I’m insecure about people touching my arms and don’t like to wear sleeveless clothes. I’m so exhausted and so tired of hiding my arms. Doctors haven’t prescribed anything that’s helped. I feel like I’m screwed. Has anyone in a similar boat found a niche thing that’s helped them manage their KP?

i always have this idea that dreams represents messages Weeks ago i had this weird dream that i couldn't make sense of it, I was dreaming that i was in my hood and there was a new "AI" technology device that can change shape of objects the way you like it so i bought one because i have depression i wanted it to change the shapes of objects i see to look dreamy beautiful so i can see things different and be happy, it was a small white device looks like "wii" console so i turned it on and walked to the street and started to look around i was surprised to see things not the way i wanted buildings looks colorful dreamy with evil eyes that kind of eyes that give you feelings that they hide something bad for you its not like that red demons like eyes but like blacknwhite simple cartoon eyes if you know what i mean , with cunning evil expressions that give you vibes that they have bad things for you ,and they where there in everything i look at not spread randomly but every object have just one pair of eyes the clouds,tables,buildings, trees, at some point i met a girlfriend i never knew before and some other people but seems like i was the only one who can see those eyes.

I’m 8 months without my IUD which has totally changed how often I see pimples in general. I’m 31 and looking to essentially do preventative care while also giving my face proper moisture. I live in a very very very dry place, and still have fairly sensitive skin, but feel comfortable with it enough right now to test out some new things. I also live in a mountain town where I need to drive 2 1/2 hours to even get to a Sephora or ulta. I do get bad wrinkles in my forehead on sunnier days as well as the ones between my eyebrows from squinting, and it’s very hard for me not to for some reason. 30M,173cm,64kg,W. In may 2021 I had a 10 day period of fever 39.5 degrees with other symptoms such as severe headache(more than usual when I have high temp), particles in urine and itchiness in urethra after urination, added weird odor to both gases from colon and from mouth(took 2 years to disappear). After the illness I had a period of muscle weakness for about a month. Also I had issues with severe decrease in bowel movement which took more than 2 years to heal(things become much better after I've started eating white rice). Although it was not confirmed but it's likely that I had a covid19.
After a month and a half I felt like I've almost recovered but some symptoms remained which I expected to just disappear over a longer period of time but they did not. At first I just stopped feeling well rested after waking up and I couldn't get energized from anything like music or sports. I've started quickly getting mentally exhausted from any activity. Right now after 3 years I can't even look straight when walking because processing that amount of visual information is already too exhausting for me. I have to look at the ground to not waste my mental energy when walking outside. Before the easiest and the most enjoyable things for me were reading and playing games which I could do for days or weeks almost ignoring sleep and eating but now even 30 minutes of playing video games could feel like previous 9 hours of office work.
Before this issue I was very healthy and still don't feel physically anything wrong. Did some sports, eat only healthy boiled food, mostly grains and eggs/meat. Never consumed any harmful substances like alcohol or drugs. Don't have any phycological issues. I have a decent family, no reason being stressed, accept myself for who I am and even if I'm not doing my best - I'm having fun with my life and it is all I care about.
I did brain MRI, encephalogram, neck vessels ultrasound which showed venous insufficiency which does not explain the symptoms, blood(general, hepatitis, ferritin, thyroid functions), urine tests.
In December 2023 neurologist assumed I have a depression and prescribed escitalopram. I took 5mg for 24 days with no positive results. But it helped me realize that I at least don't have the kind of depression that this drug induced. It completely cut off my concept of having fun reading a book. I stopped being able to understand this. And it made everything else felt much more bland till I've stopped taking the drug. I feel everything the same way I felt before the illness and I can enjoy everything I could before but I'm just constantly very tired with nothing being able to alleviate this.

My husband (34M) and I(34F) loved each other from the bottom of our hearts, but its not like that anymore. 5 years ago, things changed between us and now everything is so differemt.
He came from an abusive household, and also has a pair of mental health disorders. His parents died in his teens, and that is when his Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder flared for the first time ever. Since then, he has been battling his own mind, and not always succesfully (He has scars up and down his arms, which is why he only wears long sleeved clothes now). When we got together, things where initially rough between us, but it got much better and it quickly bloomed into a relationship, which culminated in marrying one another. Even thouhh he was medicated, had a stable job and income, and a house of his own, his trauma used to come back and his meds where sometimes not enough. But even still, life was good for us. We traveled together to whereever we wantes. We had a great sex life (He was a Dom and I a Sub). We had anything we could ever want. And our future was set due to some savvy and lucky investments.
This culminated about 5 years ago, when I became pregnant. I will admit, I did not handle it with grace because I was not certain that I wantes to have children, nor did I want to bring a child into this world who cpuld pote tially inherit my Depression and Anxiety, and his Bipolar and Schizophrenia. I ended up running away back to my parents home, without telling him, and was there for weeks, during which I miscarried, which sadly I feel grateful for. I feel terrible about being happy about this, even to this day, but at the time it was a relief. My husband however basically went off the deep end. He didn't eat for 12 days, didnt drink wster for 12 days, didn't take his meds for 12 days, didn't sleep for 12 days, and the worst of his cutting happened during these 12 days. After that, he was incarcerated at a mental hospital after an altercation with the police, until I finally gathered the courage to return home and found him missing (the police ended up putting the pieces together and telling me where he was).
When I saw him, I was shocked. He was quite literally skin and bones. His eyes where still sunken in from a lack of sleep. And I will never forget the fresh scars on his arms. According to both himself, he thought that I had left him, he went off his meds, and the voices told him that the only way to "win me back" was to prove that he was good enough to go without the crutches. I have never, ever felt so guilty in my life, because I shouldn't have bolted like that, and I shouldn't have kept him in the dark about it. Maybe of I had been better then, things would be different, but alas here we are.
The man I knew is now gone. He was kind, fun-loving, gentle, great in bad, and more importantly he wanted to have a real relationshio and be better then his parents. Now, he doesn't do anything for himself. Literally the week after he came hoeme, he went WFH full time. While I am at work, he is at home all the time. The dishes are always done. Food is always on the table. The garden never has any weeds. The floors are always dusted. All of these things we used to do together, and we enjoyed doing it together. Now when I get home at the end of the day, there is nothing to do with him. Even in bed, things have changed. I mentioned how he used to be a Dom, and me a Sub, well thats completely inverted now. I have to tell him what to do, and even then all he does is pleasure me, but when I try to reciprocate it, he doesn't respond and it always ends with him getting me off and thats it. He doesn't express any emotion for himself. Its always for me
Its not just this stuff between us either. Its like he is not even living his life anymore. He used to be great friends with his coworkers and other from the nieghborhood and go out once or twice a week. Now he doesn't even talk to them or anyone else outside of work or the 1 minute of small talk whikst getting the mail. His favorite band of all time was having an anniversary tour, and he got tickets months in advance. When the time came around, I had a business trip to go on, and he insisted on not only taking a day off work to drop me off at the airport, but he also skipped the concert to pick me up. Mind you, this band was what got him through his rough childhood, and this man has posters plastered over the walls, and listens to them non-stop. And he skipped their concert to pick me up from the fucking airport. I did not even ask him to do it, I was originally going to take an Uber to and from, and I told him to go to the concert. Lo and behold, there he was waiting at the airport for me.
I have tried to talk with him about all of this, so many times, and his usual response is something like, "If you are happy, then I am happy" even though I know thats not true. The man waits on me hand and foot, does everything to make me happy, and I can tell that he is the inverse of happy. I don't/can't complain about what he is doing, because I am the cause of this and because he does everything for me, to try and make me happy.
Its like...he isn't living life actively anymore. Everything is just a routine for him. Only once has the facade ever broken, and it was when I found him curled up on our bed, in the middle of the day, sobbing his eyes put. He just kept telling me not to leave him, over and over again, for hours, which is how I know this is my fault.
I really have no idea what to do anymore. I have resorted to doing things I know he liked to do, just so that he can live some part of his life. I love this man, but he is a husk of his former self, and I miss him so much. I would do anything to get him back, but I just don't know what to do.
We have tried therapy together for a year now, and individually he has been in therapy for a very log time. Nothing seems to be working. If I have to throw myself off a bridge so that he can forget about me and live normally, I would do it at this point. I normally would not come onto the internet for advice from strangers, but I have no idea what to do, and I desperatly need suggestions/ideas on how to fix things between us.

My 3lb 3 month old female (not spayed) sphinx bit through a cord and got shocked on Friday night. Her mouth is swollen, and her breathing is heavy. We don’t have the money for emergency care and we’ve called and the earliest we can get into the vet is Monday. She is doing well though, she has opened her eyes, moved around, shes been purring, gotten up to use the litter box on her own, we’ve gotten her to eat and drink as well. But I still am worried about not being able to take her in until Monday. I feel helpless as I’m a 16 year old and my grandparents are going through financial trouble and struggle to make ends meet let alone pay for emergency care.

I’m trying to build a CSM army, I bought both battle forces, the legionnaires kill team, and my partner bought me 2 war dogs as a gift.
The way I currently tackle trim is I dry brush the trim color over the whole model and then fill in the rest with whatever color I’m using, like for my kill team I dry brushed silver to get a more “detailed” looking silver and painted red around it since I decided to go with word bearers.
I’m trying to find other possibly faster ways but I think I’ve perfected how to do trim.

I’m a 24yr old female, I have a variety of diagnosed mental health issues ranging from borderline personality to pre menstrual dysphoric disorder among others. I take medications for them like lamictal, abilify, and Wellbutrin. I’ve been experiencing some skin problems for the past 2 years now ( I know it’s been awhile) I’ve had no health insurance or extra money and just haven’t cared enough about myself to get this looked at but now I’m wondering if it’s psoriasis. There are two problem areas the first one is my back which has a big dark dry spot that is very itchy and bleeds when I itch it. The next spots are red spots with flaky outer bits and they generally pop up on my thigh and butt area.
