Greetings Gamers, and welcome to the second part of an original post that I know a lot of you have been waiting for quite a while now. That- or you were waiting for something new to show-up in this sub and all other similar subs for Reddit. I have been working on this post since around Halloween of 2023, and the reason for it was because I found myself listening to some really old game soundtracks that sent me back to the days where everything felt simpler. The problem is that it become too long that I will have to split this up in two parts. The Soundtrack Charts and then, The Nostalgic Stories.
So, I invite you all to grab your bindle, take out your MP3 player, and let's meander down Nostalgic Ave and explore the many links that I had resided here for your enjoyment. But first, please refer to the bullet points here in its entirety, as it should give you the full walkthrough of this post.

This list is a extravagant list of many game OST's.
I am aware of how many links are in this post. It is extremely link heavy. (Approximately 240 links)
You are not obliged to listen to every playlist and/or a whole playlist.
These charts are based off of multiple websites, Reddit posts and personal opinion.
I am sure that I have left out some important game OSTs to some of you. Please proceed to check other charts, as it most likely will be in one of them.
Some years in the charts will have more than just one game. That is because that year had some REALLY good soundtracks, and I just couldn't list one.

Almost all yearly dates I put next to the games are based off of North American release dates.
I absolutely have not played all of the games listed here.
I do not own any of these songs.

2023.11.28 17:33 sidneyaks Working on electrifying a 1994 ford probe -- any thoughts on how to start making the gauges work?

I'm working on turning my ford probe into an electric car using a nissan leaf EM57 motor (google doc outlining plans so far). One of the many challenges I'm facing is how to get output to the driver. I'd like to keep the stock IC but understand that it's probably going to have a completely retrofitted with an arduino controller or something to make everything work out. I might consider printing a new face for it and sliding that under the needles so I have different ranges (ex: The tach will now be able to go up to 10k rpm, while the speedometer may keep the same range because even if it can go faster I shouldn't). That said, I'm not really sure where to start with making the gauges actually move.
Unless someone just has a full guide in their pocket (doubt it), does anyone have any idea of where I could start? I found the wiring diagram online; it doesn't look computer integrated (which is nice) meaning I could fiddle with each gauge separately and send it it's own signal? Would these signals be likely to be voltage based? Amperage based? PCM?
I know I'm shooting in the dark, thank you for anyone who takes the time to look at this.

Had the intelligence, capability, and clear accounting practices necessary to find this post hidden beneath many layers of error messages and What to Watch? Posts! In the following mystery tour we will try to uncover what happened to Chart-Kun in 2016.
April 1st 2016: Hundreds of Redditors gathered to witness the latest anime directed by Mizushima Tsutomu and written by Okada Mari:

With a director as seasoned as Mizushima, with Girls und Panzer, Shirobako, Another, Blood-C, Joshiraku, Prison School and not to forget Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan among his many credits under his belt- what could go wrong? In fact most of his direction jobs are personal favorites of mine and I would recommend anything he ever touched, often even without any caveats. Be it raunchy over the top hijinks, character drama, gorey suspense or high octane action, he proved himself capable of handling all these things. The writing was handled by Okada Mari. A controversial and well established writer for anime, she helmed many projects. Among her most popular works is probably the series composition for Toradora, but also other drama-and-sometimes-comedy-heavy series like WIXOSS, O Maidens in Your Savage Season and Hanasuka Iroha or mecha anime like Aquarion Evol and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Like with many of these series, she also worked on Mayoiga together with Koyanagi Keigo and Shinsuke Oonishi.
This team of creatives should be a slam dunk for horror mystery drama featuring a teangae and adult cast. But something went wrong. Are all the deleted and lost users in the episode discussion threads connected to this? We might never know.
But let us start at the beginning. Episode 1, which prompted the rise of Chart-Kun. A bus full of strangers, apparently eager to start a new life after they cracked an online mystery game. Dead to the world, their trip to the Lost Village¹ (thus, Mayoiga) is off to a rough start and we can feel a collective shudder thinking about HBO’s Lost. After collecting myself, the investigation leads a few promising insights: All mystery trip participants are on the journey to run away, quite literally lose themselves and trying to find their new self like they try to find the mysterious Lost Village. It’s a colorful cast. Teenagers, adults, love birds, anti-social ruffians and a whole lot of weirdos. In typical Okada fashion they all have dramatic reasons to go on this journey of Village-/Self-discovery and said journey will cause conflict among this ragtag group of voluntary outcasts.

It’s now several hours later. The last words of Chart-kun turned out to be

„Well, that ending was... it was horrible.I had a glimpse of hope. But no.“

Words of despair, but let me recap. Mayoiga is a work of its creators. This is tautological, yet describes the strengths and weaknesses like nothing else can. This has the sometimes subtle and often loud humoristic bend of Mizushima and also shows his love for sound engineering, machines and CGI when needed. It has the energy of both Shirobako and Another- the slow beginning and the Final Destination escalation for the finale. We see the storyboards and layouts crafted with care, character animation being a strong point of the series. Without having quite the resources of Shirobako, it nevertheless always holds a pleasant level of production quality. Important for this case if also Okada’s writing. The investigations also lead to me stumbling upon the user u/AutoLovepon who is still active to this day, in contrast to many of the thread participants. Maybe they also went to the Lkost Village? AutoLovepon at least still keeps working diligently, executing² episode discussion posts diligently and making her namesake proud.
In the end, the investigation was a failure. I could not find Chart-kun or many of his comrades, lost to the power of the hidden village. I could also not find the cause for the general reception of Mayoiga. Is the mystery solved in the end? Yes. Does it take some wild twists and turns? To the point of whiplash. Is there Okada’s signature drama? So much drama for the whole ensamble cast, one must be careful to not get overwhelmed by it. There also is suspense, a solid production, comedy and a farcical whimsy to most of it. What’s there not to enjoy?

Ali, dok ste napolju, možda vam neće ni pasti na pamet da postoje stvari kojima toplota ne prija i koje, ako ih zaboravimo u autu, mogu da nam naprave mnogo problema. #1. Naočare za sunce

Thank you all for the input on my first post.
Everything works fine, but I am unsure of some things and considering how well it went on my first post, maybe you can help me again with some information:
Solar inverter is offgrid/hybrid 5.6kw. Panels are canadian solar. 2 strings 6 each.

I installed the android app and the power diagram is a bit dodgy. The PV production added with the grid consumption does not sum up the power drawn by the load. It updates every 5 min or so. Today the grid icon showed -11 W consumption. How even....? If I turn on the instant water heater, which draws 3.3kw instantly, the solar power provided by the system was 2,7k. The rest was taken from the grid. Is it possible that the inverter is on purpose not supplying 100% with active solar power the whole house because in the eventuality of a big consumer is turned on, there might happen a brownout? I don't have batteries installed yet.
Cannot modify parameters of inverter with a laptop. I have 2 possibilities to communicate with the inverter. Through a wifi antenna that goes into an rs232 (connecting with my phone), or through USB - B The app recommended by the seller is Watch Power. I tried all versions, ran them as administrator and the laptop won't see the inverter, although the device manager shows an USB connection. I have the latest drivers and all. Should I bother buying an RS232 to USB adapter? Has anyone encountered similar problems with solar inverters?
I ordered 4 12v 200Ah gel batteries. Intend on connecting them in series. Do I need an equalizer? Don't they equalize if I leave them overnight connected in series?
Should I protect with fuses both the + and - wire of the batteries that go in the inverter? The manual shows a protection only for the + wire. And I assume I need also a switch for the batteries?

This was the product of 8 hours of brainrotting about this man. Do consider English isn't my first language so I used Grammarly to correct any mistakes. Might still be wordy due to ADHD and my inability to shut the fuck up.
This is long and detailed. Enjoy :)

Vision

Alright, let's begin with The Big Topic™
For his element, people often assume the red gem on his belt is his vision, and conclude he is a Pyro character. However, I don't think that's his vision, nor that he's Pyro.
Why? If we take a look at the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview, Diluc's vision isn't shown so clear, but we can still make sense of the shapes and tell he's a Pyro character.

Same with Ningguang, the element symbol isn't clear, but we can still see a little shape in there, some sharp edges, plus the color, which leads us to conclude she's a Geo character.

Not only it doesn't have any element shapes in it (when it should be clear from this angle), and the color matches neither Geo nor Pyro, AND that small circle on the middle isn't present in any other vision, but it also obviously looks a little too big to be a vision. (Also, no characters except for Ningguang and Diluc have their visions shown in the trailer, probably due to it being heavily STC. So I don't have any content to compare that to)

Despite looking kinda Sumeru-ish (IMO), I doubt that'd be the final vision design for the region.

But now that we have that out of the way. Let's take a look at him again.

The skill/burst shown in the trailer very obviously creates a sandstorm. This should discard Pyro as an option, and minimize the element possibilities to be only Geo, and maybe Anemo.
I don't think he is an Anemo character for two very simple reasons: 1- His aesthetic does not fit the element's "theme", 2- If his ability is like the one shown in the trailer, and taking into consideration that he's a playable character like any other, it makes no sense for him to be able to create a sandstorm in a place without sand, using only the wind. A place like Dragonspine, for example. If anything, he'd only be able to summon a sandstorm anywhere if he was a Geo character.

This one might be a stretch, but should be at least half an evidence. Pay attention to the sound effects of each character.
When Ayaka swings her fan up, the sound effect is, essentially, any freezing-ice-magic-fantasy-power sound. You know, the one often with bells and all, you get it. This way, we can conclude she is a Cryo character.
Lyney's might be a stretch, but there is a quick, sharp sound, similar to that of electricity when he lifts his hat, while Lynette has a bubble-like sound in the back. This leads me to believe they'll be Electro and Hydro, respectively.
Iansan is quite obvious, but the sound effect is an explosion, so I believe she'll be a Pyro character, not Geo as some have theorized.
Pulcinella doesn't have any sound effects, but unlike other characters, she isn't seen showing her abilities/vision either.
If we take a moment to listen to Sumeru's preview, [the sound effect that plays when Cyno appears is like heavy sand falling, much like an avalanche, implying he will likely be a Geo character.

Weapon

I can say with confidence that he will be a polearm wielder. I mean, just look at his art. It's really no secret.
But if anyone's curious, the weapon he holds in the trailer is the Beginners Protector ;)

Oh boy, this one was hard to find any evidence for... well, anything on that subject, really.
Let's begin looking for evidence in the official Genshin Impact manga. More specifically, comparing the heights of the characters.
If you'd like to know how precise the heights in the manga are, here is a comparison between Jean and Kaeya's height in the manga vs in-game.

Unfortunately, there aren't any characters in the manga that use the "boy model" in-game, so I can't make a proper comparison to know if their heights are precise in this one too. To make it even worse, Cyno never stands directly by the side of another character except for Amber in the entire manga. So the only measurement tool we'll have are the following images:

Taking a closer look, we can notice Cyno is only slightly taller than Amber. This could be evidence that he uses the "teen boy model" rather than the "adult male" model. But that might be just in the manga, right?
Well, as we know, Amber uses the teen girl model, while Kaeya uses the adult male model, and this is what their height difference looks like in the manga:

Both in the manga and in-game, Amber stands barely at Kaeya's shoulders. If we compare that info to the first manga Cyno picture, Cyno is definitely not much taller than Amber. Here are the two images with Amber as the height reference so we can compare Cyno and Kaeya.

Cyno is about as tall as Kaeya's chin, just like the teen boy model.
Yeah... I was kinda disappointed as well.

But as always, why don't we take a look at all the possibilities?
First of all, some of the characters with the same model types in the manga have height differences, one of the best examples I could find is Diluc, who reaches only Kaeya's nose. Cyno might just be like him.

Secondly, Cyno's outfit, especially his cloak, is misleading, and it's very hard to get a proper idea of his height with it. Also, the height difference between the teen boy model and the teen girl model is not as big as it should be if compared to the manga.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest, this is just a personal opinion, not actual evidence. But I think he "fits" better between the tall males in his official splash art than he does with the teen males. I thought he looked too skinny for that model until I took a better look at Tartaglia's. Though characters' splash arts like Albedo and Xiao's only make me believe further he'll get the short male model. Here is a comparison with the short male characters:

I really don't have a conclusion on this topic. Cyno is really a weird case. He looks too old to be a teen male but too small to be an adult male. Sigh, let's keep our hopes up and at least hope he gets a pretty model ;)

Role

For this topic, I will be discussing both gameplay role and story role.

Let's begin with the easiest one: Gameplay, and start with his rarity.
There are a couple of ways we can figure out a character's rarity. The first one is analyzing their splash arts. In general, 5-star characters have wider splash arts, lots of details, and at least some sort of background (except Klee, for some reason). While 4-star arts don't have any sort of background, simple details, and have a lot more focus on the character presented rather than their abilities.

Though Cyno's splash art doesn't look so detailed right now, it has two of the 5-star elements mentioned: background, and is definitely wider than most arts.

It's a little hard to analyze his splash art at the moment, since we definitely don't have the full picture. He could turn out to be like Ayaka on the trailer, where all we had of her splash art was this, and we could barely see what her abilities really were.

An interesting thing you may notice from the pic above is that the background of Ayaka's splash art isn't visible in the trailer, so Cyno might, after all, get a better background on his art.
Another thing is that later in the game, some arts were updated because the quality of the arts did get better with time. Since the Travail trailer was released even before Venti's banner, Cyno's current known art is definitely bound to get some changes in the future.

There's a more silly way to "speculate" unreleased characters' rarity, which is finding the pattern in the Travail trailer.
Diluc was the first promoted character, and turned out to be a 5-star. Ningguang was the second, and is a 4-star. Ayaka was next, and is a 5-star. If we follow the pattern, we'll see Cyno should be a 4-star character, Lyney and Lynette are 5-stars, Iansan is a 4-star, and finally, Pulcinella is a 5-star.
But then again, as much as I think the last two fit this "speculation", I doubt Mihoyo would have thought about this. Plus, Pulcinella and Dain are 100% both 5-stars and it simply breaks the entire theory apart. As I said, it's just a silly "method" with no actual evidence it works (unless, of course, I'm right. In that case I demand acknowledgment jhkhjgh)

Now let's talk about his actual gameplay role
I'm gonna be honest, though I do have some speculations, I don't have many strong opinions to share on this topic. I'll try to put as much evidence as possible to support my guesses, but it'll definitely be more of a "brainstorming" kind of section.

I think it's too early to tell if Cyno will be a DPS or a Support. There are essentially no patterns when it comes to character roles, Mihoyo has been making their kits and releasing them based on previous characters' releases (like Albedo and Zhongli were good supports for Xiao and Ganyu, so they released their reruns consecutively), buffs (much like Geo got a massive buff in 2.3, so they made an entirely Geo-focused patch, etc), and events (Windblume and Venti rerun, the windtrace origins and Eula, you get it).
With that said, Cyno, as we've speculated, should be a Geo polearm Male character, and so far, there are two other polearm Geo characters: Yunjin and Zhongli. Both of them being supports.
I believe this could mean Cyno is, after all, a DPS-focused character. However, the last Geo character released, Itto, also turned out to be a DPS, but since we're yet to get a physical Geo DPS anyway, maybe he'd fit into that role, and not be anything like Itto.
Taking lore into consideration, since Anubis is the protector of the tombs, I also believe he could be some sort of healeshielder as well (more likely to be a healer, since both polearm Geos are also shielders. But then again, Mihoyo doesn't seem to be tired of making crowd control Anemo characters either.)

His normal attacks, in my opinion, could be based off Egypt's traditional 'Sai'di' dance, since his clothes are similar to dancer outfits of the ancient middle east, and the dance itself is a byproduct of martial arts that survived Ancient Egypt times.
I can see his auto-attacks having simple movements at first, stepping forward, then back, and so on in a rhythmic manner. Then, they escalate to something more complex. Likely not using his polearm as just a weapon, but more as a tool to confuse, to dance with the enemies. I can imagine him spinning himself and his weapon around, using his polearm to hit enemies on knee-level, and moving his feet and legs a lot, throwing them in the air, spinning them to take down enemies. I like to think he'd kick enemies, much like Itto's attacks.

About his kit, I believe what's represented in his splash art is his burst.
In my opinion, it should be a sandstorm that deals AoE Geo damage and creates a field that deals continuous damage for a few seconds before it disappears, like Kazuha's burst. I think it should also have an additional effect, like decreasing the enemies' defense, making him viable as both a Sub-DPS/DPS, much like Yoimiya.
As for his elemental skill, I have two speculations.
In his presentation in the Teyvat storyline trailer, there's a figure that crosses the screen right before Cyno appears, along with a paper-like sound. Taking a better look at it, it should really be just a cloud of dust, but I think perhaps it could have something to do with his talents.
My first thought was that perhaps Cyno can summon a clone of himself, like Shenhe's burst. Except it'll be his E. We do know Mihoyo likes to make similar character kits that are slightly better than the previous, like how Kazuha's E is Venti's burst.
My other speculation for his skill are the ones portrayed in the manga

In the first one, we see Cyno can create a field, and in a way, use it to "heal" Collei. Based on this, we can speculate Cyno will have some sort of healing abilities in-game as well.
The problem I find with this speculation is that the field he creates could very well be simply general Sumeru knowledge, and not have anything tied to Cyno or his vision, specifically (much like Zhongli can create seals, but don't use that ability in any of his skills. Or Childe, who can summon a whale but doesn't do it as a playable character. Or even Kaeya, who can create a field of ice that grows and spreads in the manga)
I find a lot of problems in basing my speculations in the manga since most of what is shown is definitely not translated into the final product of the game. It's still at least some evidence, nonetheless.
Another silly detail we could take into consideration is that all characters in the trailer have in common is that they all turned out to be DPS' so far. Probably doesn't mean anything though.

Now, story role (is it considered a spoiler if it's just speculation? Oh well, in any case, this section may contain spoilers)
First of all, if Cyno is anything like Ayaka, he'll probably appear in the first half of the Sumeru story quest, in the 3.0 update. Not later than that, due to him probably having a lot of story importance.
In the Travail Story Teaser, all characters present had some sort of story importance. Diluc accompanies us in Monstadt's story quest, Ningguang helps us defeat Osial, Ayaka is an important figure in Inazuma with great influence who helps us take down the vision hunt decree, etc. To explain Cyno's role, I will definitely steal Wei's theory even if it's a joke, because honestly I AM SOLD.
Wei's theory proposes Cyno, as a reference to Anubis, may have a role similar to him of being the God of the Death, guiding souls to the afterlife, and more importantly, protecting graves. In this case, the grave Cyno protects is the real Dendro archon's fake grave, created as proof to make his fake death more believable.
There's a second part about Baizhu being the real Dendro Archon which despite being one hell of a storyline, I don't believe so much, but this ain't about him.
Now, I do think Cyno will have some sort of connection with Anubis. But perhaps that connection will happen in a different way.
The image of the jackal in the God of Death comes from the behavior of the dog packs that stole the corpses of the death from the more "shallow" graves. The existence of Anubis is likely an answer to grave violators, protecting the dead from that sort of disrespect, and guaranteeing a peaceful transition to the afterlife. Anubis is also associated with the death of the Pharaoh.
There are no Pharaohs in Sumeru, as far as we know. So the closest thing we'd have to one should be a great leader, in this case, the Archon.
Now, if we take a look at Cyno's role in the manga, although he's definitely very powerful, he doesn't seem to be more than a regular Sumeru scholar, despite being a mature and knowledgeable one. Comparing the two "versions" we have of Cyno, as the God of Death and a mere scholar, it does feel off he'd be the same.
In Egyptian mythology, the role of Anubis changed with time, from the most important God of Death of the underworld to the "judge" of death. In the judgment of the dead, their heart was weighed on a scale with the "Feather of the Truth" (which belonged to Maat, the Goddess of Truth). If the heart was heavier than the feather, the deceased was eaten by Ammit, if it was heavier, the person in question could access paradise or the soul would be brought back to the body. It was Anubis who guided the soul.
Perhaps Cyno isn't the God of Death, in this context, but rather, the Judge of Death. He would be the one to find out the old Dendro Archon isn't dead and reveal it to us. Or, as the guide of souls, and the Dendro nation in crisis, he could decide to bring the old Dendro Archon back.

On another note, Cyno might as well be a dancer or have that as a side ability, since his clothes look like and could be based on dancer outfits of the ancient middle east during the merchant trade boom.

Bonus: Voice actor

More of a hopium-driven topic, but I'll also take into consideration some leaks. More specifically, the one about Johnny Yong Bosch voicing a character in Genshin Impact.
The first theory was that he'd be Itto's voice actor, but as it turns out, Max Mittelman has taken the role. Someone also speculated that he is Ayato's voice actor, which, in my opinion, could definitely be true, considering how similar their voices are. However, if Ayato turns out to have a different voice actor, then who is Bosch voicing?
(1-March-2022 EDIT: Ayato's English voice turned out to be Todd Haberkorn! Now, either Bosch is no longer voicing a character in Genshin, or someone is getting him as a VA soon ;))
For them to have already chosen him as a voice actor, it should mean it's a character close to getting an appearance in the story, somewhere in the next 4 or 5 patches, if I were to guess. The only male characters to be released (that we know of so far) are Heizou and Cyno (and the "real" Dendro Archon, if you're as high on hopium as I am).
Heizou is a young detective who uses the "boy model", and was inspired by the character Detective Conan, likely meaning he'll be a teen like Bennett or Chongyun, not just a short adult like Xiao or Albedo. I don't believe he'll have a voice actor like Johnny, but something more like Megumi Ogata, for example.
Now, I did have to dig through some videos of Bosch's voice to remember what he sounds like. And I was surprised with how incredibly well it fits with Cyno, especially if he sounds anything like Kiba from Wolf's Rain.
Cyno also did remind me of another voice actor: Hiro Shimono, aka Dabi's VA from My Hero Academia. He is a fantastic voice actor, and the role that really captures what I imagine for Cyno is Keima Katsuragi from The World God Only Knows.
Another VA someone mentioned on this subreddit is Alessandro Juliani, the EN voice of L from Death Note. Despite sounding much deeper than I had imagined, I also think it's a good example of what he could sound like.
In my head, Cyno will sound somewhat mature, knowledgeable, and straightforward, but won't have much of a deep voice like other Genshin males, as well as sounding slightly younger than most of them.

Phew, that was quite a lot. I don't think there's much more to say about Cyno for now. If there are any leaks in the next few months, I'll definitely come around to update this whole... thing.

Since our last report for the month of May, IFF has filed 18 RTI requests, 2 First Appeals and 1 Second Appeal. Here, we give you an overview of the requests filed and why demanding transparency and accountability from Government authorities is one of the key elements in our fight to protect digital rights.

Why is transparency important?

The Right to Information Act, 2005 was enacted to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority by ensuring that citizens are able secure access to information under the control of public authorities. Facilitating such access is necessary to ensure that democratic processes are not subverted by public authorities acting under private interests. Where transparency is not upheld as a value of public decision-making, citizens are at a disadvantage when it comes to keeping a check on abuse of power by the public authorities.
The Right to Information (RTI) Act is thus one of the most important tools at the disposal of the public to engage with, and demand transparency and accountability from, the Government. We use the Act to routinely extract information about various ongoing policies and projects that the Government launches. In the month of June , we have up till now filed 18 RTI requests, 2 First Appeal and 1 Second Appeal electronically with authorities at the Central level, concerning the various issues on which we engage with the Government.
Note: Number of RTIs are calculated from the date of the previous report. While we try to make this a monthly report, some RTI requests from the previous month that were filed after that month's report may be included in the present report.

Data Protection and Privacy

One of our key areas of work is ensuring that public authorities respect data privacy and engage in practices which will ensure that the right to privacy is protected. We filed 7 RTI requests with various authorities this month to ask for information pertaining to newly introduced projects which affect the data privacy of Indian citizens.
Under IFF’s Project Panoptic, we routinely file RTI requests with various public authorities after we come across news reports that they are developing or using facial recognition technology. This month, we filed requests with:

The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare on the different MOUs signed between the GOI and Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Amazon Web Services (AWS), ESRI India Pvt. Ltd., Agribazar India Pvt. Ltd.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on the use of GPS imaging technology on vehicles for toll collection the NHAI
The National Health Authority on the use of Aadhaar based Facial Recognition for the COVID-19 Vaccine through IFF’s representation IFF/2021/020 dated April 19, 2021.
The Department of Electronics and Information Technology on IFF’s representation IFF/2021/018 dated April 8, 2021 regarding the data breach of Facebook users.
The Department of Electronics & Information Technology on IFF’s representation IFF/2021/017 dated March 31, 2021 regarding the data breach of Facebook’s users.
The National Informatics Centre on IFF’s representation IFF/2021/013 dated March 5th, 2021 about the storage policies of Arogya Setu data.

Further, on May 17, 2021, six of our second appeals before the CIC came up for hearing. The six appeals pertained to RTI requests asking for information about surveillance orders that the Ministry of Home Affairs had issued in 2018. After the CIC accepted our appeal, it observed that the MHA failed to justify reasons for denial. It also observed that our first appeal to the First Appellate Authority of the MHA was improperly rejected. It remanded the case back to them, and had directed them to re-adjudicate it by July 31, 2021. Accordingly, the First Appellate Authority held a telephonic hearing on June 24, 2021. We are awaiting a copy of the First Appellate Authority’s decision. IFF will consistently and incrementally be pushing for greater transparency and trust for interception and surveillance reforms. Net Neutrality

Through the SaveTheInternet campaign, we were able to secure a massive public victory for net neutrality in India. Another focus of our work is to ensure that freedom of speech and expression on the internet is protected and that unnecessary censorship does not lead to a chilling effect on people’s fundamental rights. The sight of a Shawarma spit rotating slowly while grilling is breathtaking and majestic. The meat slowly bubbles and fries up on the exterior, while melted fat and juices trickle down the assembled shawarma cone. Then like a trained violinist, the shawarma meister shaves the exterior of the cone into thin strips of grilled meat before wrapping it in some flatbread. It is a true site to behold, and the experience of eating shawarma that was shaved seconds before is one you'll likely never forget. So what is one to do when you have no shawarma shops nearby and the craving strikes. Well the answer is to make your own but the problem with that is it's near impossible to get the correct grilled flavor and texture without a rotisserie, that is until today. I'm going to show you how to make the best homemade chicken shawarma of your life, using a technique that I developed that requires no special equipment (except some skewers) and can be done in any grill or broiler equipped oven.

What is Chicken Shawarma

Shawarma is the name given in the Middle East to a dish of layered meat which is grilled on a rotating spit, it commonly comes in two forms; Chicken or Meat (either beef, lamb or a mix of both). It's served throughout the middle east with every country putting their own unique twist on the marinades and sauces that are used. For the most part shawarma is eaten as a sandwich, but it's also sometimes served with rice, on hummus or with a salad. The popularity of shawarma and it's appeal as a quick delicious street food has lead to it spreading all over the world particularly as a late night meal.
There are a number of international variants of shawarma such as Turkish Döner (this is actually the historical origin of shawarma), Greek Gyros, and Mexican Al pastor (invented by Lebanese immigrants to Mexico), though today we will be focusing only on Levantine (specifically Syrian and Lebanese) style Chicken Shawarma sandwiches. These sandwiches are put together using the freshly shaved chicken, Toum (Thick garlic sauce, see my last post for this, link in notes), salty pickled cucumbers and Shatta (Chilli sauce, also in my last post), all wrapped together in a thin stretchy flatbread called Saj. Some people opt to add in slices of Tomato, lettuce, French fries or potato chips (crisps) for additional flavors or textures, but I feel it's unnecessary and the shawarma sandwich can shine without them. Once wrapped in the bread, the sandwich is toasted on a panini press for a minute, to crisp up the exterior of the bread and seal the sandwich shut.
The issue with cooking chicken shawarma at home is that it's really hard to get the right texture without the assistance of a rotisserie. As the rotisserie spins, the meat cooks from the outside inwards, and attains a glossy grilled char on the outer surface. Once shaved you'll end up with pieces that on one side are perfectly juicy and tender soft meat, and on the other side are crisped and lightly charred with an amazing grilled flavor. That texture is essential for correctly made chicken shawarma, and unfortunately it's really difficult to get using most home cooking methods. Although the marinade adds the majority of the flavor to the dish, it won't taste or feel right without the grilled exterior.
The simplest method to use for home cooked shawarma is to cut your marinated chicken into strips and then pan fry them. It works in a pinch and will give you chicken strips that taste similar to shawarma, but I've found that this method doesn't give you any resemblance in terms of texture and crucially the meat is missing a charred/grilled flavor. Another method that is quite simple, is to grill whole chicken thighs or breast fillets (slices about 1 cm thick) in a griddle or grill pan, then slicing it into strips before serving. This will give you a better texture and some char, and is my preferred method if I'm in a rush. However the texture is still quite different from that of genuine shawarma and the reason for that lies in the direct contact the chicken pieces will have with the pan. It will cause the meat to cook a lot quicker on the outside than it will on the inside, so you'll end up with a larger variation of doneness across a cross section of the meat.
One strange technique I've seen a lot recently, involves stacking your whole chicken pieces on some skewers, and baking it upright in the oven. Although this might look closer to a traditional shawarma cone, it's absolutely illogical, as you have to bake the whole thing until cooked through to the center. Although well intentioned, this method will basically give you over done and dry outer edges with some browning, and a well cooked center with 0 color. So what can you do to get realistic shawarma at home?
My technique is designed to grilling steak in a restaurant setting, to ensure that we get a perfectly cooked center in our meat, while still ensuring we get a crispy grilled outside. We will use the grill or broiler function to obtain a nice crust and grilled flavor. First the marinated chicken is sliced into thin strips about 1/2cm or 1/4in thick, then its suspended between two skewers. The filled skewers are placed on the edge of a baking tray or dish so that the meat is suspended in mid air and isn't touching the base. The tray is then placed under the broiler or grill in the oven to cook and is rotated every few minutes until lightly charred and cooked through. This is the best technique I have found for cooking chicken shawarma at home, and it really does mimic that of rotisserie shawarma. The direct heat from the grill or broiler allows you to develop char and crispiness, without the meat constricting and shrinking as it would in a pan.

History

The origins of Shawarma is one of many stories and timelines, and has been claimed by many nations. The name Shawarma may have come from the Turkish word çevirme, which some sources say means turning, though my google-fu has said it means translation (technically this still is a form of movement). But all indicators do point to this being an ottoman food, and that's mainly due to its importance and stature in the countries that make up the former ottoman empire. One very important clue on its ottoman origins was discovered in the background of a painting from 1616 which the food historian Priscilla Mary Işın discovered and wrote about in her book 'Bountiful Empire: A History of Ottoman Cuisine'. It dates the rotation method of cooking kebab to at least the 17th century.
Shawarma is thought to have first gone vertical through the work of Iskender Efendi in the 19th century (1867 to be exact) in the city of Bursa. He is also the inventor of the Iskender Kebab, which consists of meat shawarma placed on a bed of bread, then topped with a tomato sauce, browned butter and yoghurt. His descendants still run a restaurant in the city of Bursa to this day. Speaking of vertical shawarma, nearly all shawarma is now cooked vertically, but over the past decade there has been a resurgence in horizontally cooked shawarma. This is usually done over a coal fire pit and is honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten.
The spread of shawarma through the rest of the middle east is not clear and there aren't any credible stories of how it got transformed into a sandwich nor how it came to be combined with Toum and Shatta. However given that Toum is very much a Levantine invention and is a main component of chicken shawarma sandwiches, it's likely that it spread from either Syria or Lebanon. One clue to the Syrian origins of Chicken shawarma sandwiches also lies in the stores that sell shawarma throughout the Arab world. One of the oldest shawarma stores in Egypt is called Abo Ammar El Sory, which literally means Ammar's Father - The Syrian. There are also lots of other Syrian joints that specialize in shawarma throughout Cairo, though I'm unsure if this is just a phenomenon in Egypt.
One thing that we can say for sure is that Shawarma has spread throughout the world over recent years, and this is mostly attributed to the rise in Syrian refugees opening restaurants in the countries they now call home. London, UK is home to dozens of these, some of which put out shawarma that can rival any I've had in the Middle East. Europe has been a hotbed for Turkish Doner Kebabs for a long time, but the shawarma sandwich is now posing a new challenge to their dominance.

Flavor Profile

The chicken shawarma itself has a mild but complex spiced flavor due to the varied amounts of spices in it. You can easily pick up the flavors of Bay, cloves, cardamom and turmeric. The paprika and tomato paste add some depth to the shawarma and much needed umaminess. Adding lemon and vinegar to the marinade give it acidity but at the same time they serve to tenderize the chicken in conjunction with the yoghurt. Once cooked the flavors in the marinade mellow down slightly and you also get the grilled flavor coming through. Finally the great thing about cooking the shawarma with this method, is that you are still able to taste the chicken itself.
As a sandwich, it has quite a great and well rounded flavor. The first flavor you notice is the grilled bread, which I think is a step that gets left out too often. The freshly baked flavor you get from toasting it is essential to the shawarma experience. The next thing that cuts through is the garlic sauce, with its strong and pungent garlic flavor. You then get the flavors of the chicken mixed with the salt and sourness of the pickles. It's very much a memorable experience eating real shawarma for the first time as the flavors all blend together so well. If you add some chilli sauce as well then you will get a background heat in your sandwich that is really pleasant.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Shawarma:

1kg (2lbs) Boneless skinless chicken thighs
4-6 Garlic cloves
4 Bay Leaves
1 Cup of Yoghurt
4 Tbsp tomato paste
3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp White Vinegar
2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Boharat
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1/2 Tsp Chilli Flakes
1/2 Tsp Ground Coriander
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp Turmeric
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger
1/2 Tsp Cloves
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
1/4 Tsp Ground Cardamom

Sandwich Ingredients:

Saj bread if you can find it, Lavash or Lebanese bread if you cannot
Salty Lebanese pickled cucumbers or if you can't find it then get salty cornichons
Toum sauce (recipe in my last post, link in the comments)
Chilli sauce (recipe in my last post, link in the comments)

Directions

Marinade directions:

Butterfly or pound your chicken thighs until they are 1/2 cm or 1/4 inch thick, even thickness is crucial for a great cook. If you are using chicken breasts then butterfly them and then pound to an even thickness
Crush your bay leaves using a pestle and mortar or a spice grinder (you can use some of the salt to help with this), then add to a bowl with the remaining spices
Mince your garlic and mix with the Yoghurt, Tomato Paste, Lemon Juice, Olive oil, white vinegar and the spice mix. Stir until well mixed and then add your chicken in to the bowl and mix to ensure each piece is well coated in the marinade
Place your chicken in the fridge for a minimum of 12 hours so the marinade can really take effect

My oven grilled/broiled chicken shawarma technique:

I highly recommend checking out my video for this as the steps are kind of hard to translate into words

Slice your marinated chicken thighs into strips about 1/2 cm or 1/4 inch thick
Using a skewer, pierce your chicken strips all along one side and slide them onto the skewer until the entire chicken thigh has been threaded on to the skewer
With a second skewer, pierce the opposite end of the chicken, so that the chicken strips are suspended between both skewers, it will kind of resemble crochet. Push the thigh together so it's slightly compressed then repeat until you have filled all your skewers. Leave about an inch clear on both tips of the skewer.
Line a deep baking sheet with foil or dish with foil, then place the skewers across the edge of the sheet. Either end of the skewer should be resting on opposing walls of the baking sheet, with the meat suspended between them, floating above the sheet not sitting in it (you may need to use a deep baking dish if your trays are shallow).
Place your tray in the oven with your grill or broiler set to medium and cook for 3-5 minutes. Rotate the skewers to the second side and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Place them back in the over for 2-3 more minutes until slightly charred. Cooking times will really vary with each broiler or grill, but you should basically flip when it starts to develop a sear then flip when it happens on the other side. Your chicken should read 74c or 165f when done. If your broiler or grill only has one strength setting, try rotating it more often such as every minute.

Pan Grilled directions:

Heat a grill pan or griddle and place a few chicken thighs in it, but don't overcrowd the pan
Cook them on medium high heat, flipping them every 2-3 minutes until cooked through, this should only take a few minutes
Remove and let cool slightly before slicing into thin strips

To make a shawarma sandwich:

Place a piece of bread on your work surface and slather on a couple of tablespoons of Toum
Add your chicken pieces on top, as well as some pieces of sliced cucumber pickle
Add some chilli sauce to the sandwich then roll it up and seal
Place your sandwiches in a grill pan of griddle, and weigh them down with something heavy. Allow them to sear for 30-60 seconds per side until grill marks form. You may find that wrapping the sandwiches in greaseproof paper before grilling helps keep them from splitting open.

Notes and tips

This recipe is specifically for CHICKEN shawarma and the marinade for meat shawarma is completely different, it probably wont taste right if you do this with meat instead
You can use Chicken breast instead of chicken thigh, or even a mix of both if you are doing a large quantity. The best way to do this would be to alternate strips of thigh and breast for a well mixed texture
I really recommend using metal skewers, but if you can't find them then regular bamboo or wooden ones will do fine, just be aware that they can burn under the grill
Play around with the strength of the marinade a bit, the spice blend is great but you might find that you like it a bit weaker or stronger. Try halving the spices or doubling it to suit your taste. The rest of the marinade ingredients should remain the same though
If you really wanted to go wild, I'd highly recommend grilling the shawarma on a charcoal grill. The flavor will be insane and honestly coal fired shawarma is so much better, you will thank me for this

Ima vec neko vrijeme od kad sam se prosli put osjecao sigurno. Tko bi rekao da bi tako bezazlen cin uzrokovao toliko dugogodisnjih muka. Sve je krenulo prije dosta godina, sa zelenim kvazidinosaurom koji je kao dijete progutao laptop i to mu je trajno izoblicilo glavu. To samo po sebi nije razlog za suditi karakteru, ali deformirani guster bio je klinicki psihopat. Jedan dan prolazim pokraj lokalnog Konzuma i komentiram prijatelju: "Ovaj zelembac zgleda ko jedan od onih nakaza iz Edo Maajkinih Prikaza." Mislio sam da je to valjano opazanje i nista vise, ali ni trenutak nakon toga van je istrcala jedna od prodavacica. Izderala se na mene da sam umisljeni divljak i pitala me tko mi daje pravo da se blesaviram na ulici(??). Prva reakcija bila mi je sok, ali onda sam se zagledao. Shvatio sam par stvari, prvo da je glas prodavacice jako piskutav i nazalan. Drugo, da je visoka oko metar i 20 centimetara, i trece da joj je glava velicine prtljaznika Golf Dvojke. Uznemiren, odsetao sam dalje s prijateljem i probao zaboraviti dogadaj.
Dva tjedna kasnije narucio sam pizzu. Sve je bilo normalno dok nisam cuo motor. Pretpostavio sam da je to mozda dostavljac te sam osluskivao za kucanje. Medjutim prije kucanja sam cuo nesto drugo. Zvucalo je kao priguseno vikanje i mumljanje. Pretpostavio sam da je to televizor u drugoj sobi i nisam puno mislio. *kuc kuc kuc* Otvorio sam vrata, i na njima je stajao dostavljac. "Aahhhh gospodine, narucili ste pizzu?"-pitao je. "Da, jesam, slavonska?". Dostavljacu je trebalo par sekundi da odgovori, u medjuvremenu je trljao ruke i smijesio se. "Gospodine?". "Aaaaa zao mi je odlutao sam. Uistinu, slavonska. Nego gospodine, ja sam vam zakljucio da ste vi jako dragi i zato sam vam stavio poseban sastojak na pizzu. 16 sjemenki jabuke, najukusnije su ako ih sve dobro prozvacete.". U tom trenutku primijetio sam par stvari. Prva; dostavljacev glas bio je piskutav i nazalan. Drugo; bio je otprilike metar i 20 cm visok. Trece; stajao je udaljen od stoka jer mu njegova glava velicine prtljaznika Golf Dvojke nije dozvoljavala da se vise priblizi i cetvrto; iz grma iza njega je virila noga necega sto je evidentno bilo truplo golog covjeka. "Ne trebate mi platiti, ja castim." Cim je otisao, guglao sam 16 sjemenki jabuke. Rezultat je da je to kolicina sjemenki koju treba pojesti da bi se umrlo od trovanja cijanidom. Tu sam vec bio teze uznemiren. Nije vise bilo sumnje, Kodi me proganjao.
Nazvao sam policiju ali oni su me prozvali da lazem i uhitili me. Isao bih u zatvor, ali susjedova nadzorna kamera potvrdila je da je mladog vozaca ubilo nesto prenisko da bi virilo iznad grmlja. "PUSTI ME VRAPCA TI ZBUNJENOG PSECI GADE OZLJEDIT CU TI PRSTOM RUPU OD PENISA SUGAVI DREKNARU NEMOJ DA...". Ispustio sam kamen na njega. Stenjao je par minuta. Taman se cinilo da je izadhnuo kad sam cuo zadnji glas iz rupe: "Nadam se da volis......... Povrce".
Policija je zatrazila diskretnost dok izvrsi autopsiju i nikad mi se vise nisu javili. Godinama se nista nije dogadjalo. Izgledalo je da je Konzum odustao od interaktivnog marketinga. Medjutim to se promijenilo sa Zdravoljupcima. Naizgled bezazlena druzina povrca koja djecu uci da jedu zdravo, zar ne? Kupovao sam nesto u Sparu jer iz principa i straha u Konzume ne zalazim, kad mi je nesto upalo u periferni vid. Kao da se hrpa brokula pomaknula. Pogledam poblize i primijetim par stvari. Prvo; jedna je od brokula gotovo triput veca od ostalih, i drugo; naizgled je... Dlakava? Pozvao sam jednog od zaposlenika da ih obavijestim da je jedna od brokula pljesnjiva, medjutim kad sam se okrenuo nije je bilo. Krenuo sam se vracati kuci kad sam nesto cuo. Zvucalo je kao hihotanje. Pozurio sam doma i zakljucao vrata. Sjedio sam blizu prozora u panici kad sam ga cuo. "ZDRAVO! Ja sam Branko, BROKULA BRANKO. Tu sam za tvoje zdravlje. Otvori vrata da te mogu ozdraviti.". Otrcao sam do kuhinje i zgrabio noz: "Bjezi brokulo ako ne zelis da te pretvorim u mnogo vise manjih brokula!". "Brokula Branko, Brokula Branko, zvali su me Branko. Branko Krvolovac, Branko Krvolovac, jer proslost mi je jako kr-va-vaaa!". Sljedeci je zvuk bio piljenje vrata. Odbacio sam noz i zgrabio hokejasku palicu. Gad je provalio a ja sam ga cekao iza vrata i zveknuo. Odletio je par metara prije no sto se uhvatio za ogradu. Opalio sam ga jos jednom i uskocio u auto.
Odvezao sam se do prijatelja koji ima veze u vojsci, zvat cemo ga Mirko. Rekao sam mu da mi treba pomoc ali nije vjerovao. "KUNEM TI SE MIRKO AKO MI NE POMOGNES BROKULA BRANKO CE ME FILETIRAT I POSLUZIT ME NA NEDJELJNOJ VECERI!!". Vec se spremao pozvati mi pomoc kad su prozori poceli pucati. Odveo me u podrum gdje me zabarikadirao i dao mi pusku. Slijedila je krvava bitka u kojoj je nastradala cijela postava Zdravoljubaca... Zdravoljubaca 1???!?!? Poubijali smo ih sve, sve do zadnjeg. I ponovno, na izmaku snaga brokula je promrmljala. "Ako su Zdravoljupci tako dobri?..". Smijesila se pokrivena biljnom krvlju par sekundi te nastavila: "hee, hee... Ako su tako dobriHAHAHAha... Zasto onda... Zasto ne postoje Zdravoljupci 2?". Mirko i ja javili smo se vojsci sa snimkom iz podruma. Nadnarednik kojeg je Mirko znao pregledao je snimku i nevoljko nas uputio covjeku kojeg zovu "Generalko". Generalko jest bio general, ali visoko odlikovan. "Bojao sam se ovoga"- rekao je. "Vec neko vrijeme sumnjamo na ovako nesto. Informacije nam pokazuju da su Zdravoljupci proizvedeni ilegalnim metodama, znanjem iz vise neetickih pokusa koji krse nekolilo odredbi Zenevske Konvencije. Ostat cemo u kontaktu.".

Generalko me poslao u bunker pod zastitom vojske. Bunker je za bunker bio relativno ugodan, sto mi je pomagalo da se smirim. Barem na pocetku. Ali jedne veceri u glavi mi je sijevnula slika; jasna slika onog idola iz videa. Razmisljao sam o njemu i shvatio par stvari. Prva, izgledao je kao netko tko bi imao piskutav i nazalan glas. Druga, izgledao je kao da bi u zbilji bio visok oko 1 m i 20 cm. I trece, ako JE visok 1 m i 20 cm, pa, glava bi mu morala biti... Morala bi biti JAKO velika, mislim pricamo, pricamo OGROMNO. Glava velicine prtljaznika Golfa Dvojke...

Zbog nekoliko zahteva za ovim tekstom, ovde navodim 20-ak afera SNS-a. Takođe sam napravio Excel fajl koji možete da skinete, ako se nešto desi objavi ili da vam bude lakše da sortirate podatke. Za svaku aferu ću dati kratak opis i izvore sa različitih strana. Neki tekstovi će vam biti poznati jer su pomenuti u mojoj objavi za Vladu, ali sam ih svejedno ubacio. Imam još par zanimljivijih stvari od ovih opšte poznatih, ali kao i uvek sačekaćete. Afere su sortirane od blažih do najgorih.

Lažne diplome:

Period (2008 - )
Senat Beogradskog Univerziteta je poništio doktorsku disertaciju ministru finansija Siniši Malom, koji je skoro pola svog rada prepisao. Ministar policije Nebojša Stefanović, takođe privlači sumnje da je plagirao doktorat, a nema dokaza ni o završenim osnovnim studijama sa Megatrenda. Sa tog privatnog fakulteta ima diplomu i ministar za rad Zoran Đorđević. Bivši predsednik Tomislav Nikolić nije znao ni smer na kom je završio studije. Sumnja se i da je diploma ministra energetike, Aleksandra Antića, lažna. Niko od ovih ljudi nije podneo ostavku.

Budući mnistar rada, a zatim i odbrane, Aleksandar Vulin kupuje stan od 107 kvadrata koji vredi nešto manje od 245 000 evra. Nakon što je to uzbunilo Agenciju za borbu protiv korupcije i čak 3 tužilaštva, Vulin je 2017. godine izašao u javnost i rekao da je novac pozajmio od tetke iz Kanade. Tačno 205.000 evra je, kako on kaže, unosio 9 po 9 hiljada u zemlju. Po toj matematici morao je 23 puta da putuje za Kanadu što nije dokazao.

Ministarstvo omladine i sporta, sa ministrom Vanjom Udovičićem, prebacuje 143 miliona dinara budžetskih para na račun nepostojeće firme "Evropske Univerzijatske igre 2020". Zbog toga u 2019. godini sportisti nisu otišli na letnju Univerzijadu, a zimsku Univerzijadu su plaćali iz svog džepa. Takođe Srbija je propustila Evropsko sportsko nadmetanje studenata te godine.

Posledica: Do sada nema posledice. Verovatno neće biti ministar u narednoj vladi.

Ana Brnabić je izašla u javnost i demantovala tu priču, zauzvrat je dobila premijersko mesto, a njen brat milionske poslove.

Aflatoksin:

Pronađen je 10 puta veći nivo aflatoksina u mleku od dozvoljenog. Ministar poljuprivrede Goran Knežević je izjavio da je mleko potpuno bezbedno za piće. Pronađen nivo je bio 0,5 mkg/l (mikrograma po litru), dok je po tadašnjim zakonima Srbije i EU dozvoljeni nivo bio 0,05 mkg/l. Rešenje ministarstva je bilo da podigne zakonski dozvoljen nivo na 0,5 mkg/l. Ali biologiju nije briga za naše zakone pa je nivo rastao čak do 1,2 mkg/l. Procenjena šteta je između 100 i 125 miliona evra.

Iako nema direktne veze sa sns-om, postoje velike sumnje da su se umešali u sudskom postupku. Aleksandar Mitrović, sin Željka Mitrovića, je pregazio 17-ogodišnju devojku na pešačkom prelazu. Prošao je kroz crveno i pobegao sa mesta nesreće. Osuđen je na 12 meseci kućnog pritvora, ali je putovao u Firencu pre isteka svoje kazne.

U leto 2017. godine, na jahti u Budvi, sastali su se Goran Rakić, predsednik Srpske Liste najveće srpske stranke na Kosovu, Bedžet Pacoli, najveći lobista za nezavisnost Kosova i Milan Radoičić osumnjičen za ubistvo Olivera Ivanovića. Nakon tog sastanka Bedžet Pacoli menja stranu i ulazi u vladu Ramuša Haradinaja. Za vreme te vlade uvedene su takse od 100% na srpsku robu, koje koštaju srpsku ekonomiju milion evra dnevno. Takođe, nedugo posle toga se desilo ubistvo Olivera Ivanovića.

Jovanjica:

Na poljuprivrednom gazdinstvu Jovanjica je pronađeno 650 kg marihuane kao biljke, plus mnogo više u osušenom stanju, kao i labaratorija za proizvodnju. Sumnja se da je vlasnik gazdinstva Predrag Koluvija pozvao Andreja Vučića, predsednikovog brata, odmah nakon otkrića. Država je gazdinstvu dala 3 kredita u iznosu 3,9 miliona evra. Slobodan Milenković, policajac koji je otkrio plantažu je bio pritvoren i, sumnja se, primoran da da izjavu da predsednikova porodica nema veze sa ovim slučajem. Gradonačelnik Novog Sada i visoki funkcioner SNS-a, Miloš Vučković podnosi krivičnu prijavu protiv predsednika i njegovog brata. Tužilaštvo donosi presudu da predsednik i njegov brat nemaju veze sa slučajem Jovanjice.

U službenom vozilu, direktor koridora Srbije Zoran Babić, zajedno sa vozačem naleće na vozilo koje čeka na napletnoj rampi. Vozili su po velikoj magli, preko dozvoljenog ograničenja. Poginula je žena koja je sedela na zadnjem sedištu udarenog automobila. Sumnja se da je Babić vozio zbog povreda nogu, za razliku od navodnog vozača koji je prošao nepovređen. Takođe na objavljenom snimku sigurnosnih kamera fale 2 minuta, baš ona 2 minuta koja bi bila ključan dokaz za ovaj slučaj. Babić je podneo ostavku, ali još uvek se nalazi na istoj funkciji.

Državna fabrika namenske industrije je povlašćenoj grupi privatnih firmi prodavala svoje proizvode ispod cene proizvodnje. Krušik je svesno poslovao sa gubitkom u korist privatnih preduzeća bliskih vladajućoj stranci. Samo u poslovanju sa kompanijom "GIM", sa kojom se povezuje Branko Stefanović, otac ministra policije, Krušik je oštećen za 14 miliona evra. Krušik je oprostio taj dug GIM-u. Ove podatke je izneo uzbunjivač Aleksandar Obradović, koji se krivično goni umesto onih na koje je ukazao.

Lider glavne opozicione stranke na severu Kosova je u 8 sati ujutru ubijen sa 6 hitaca u leđa ispred svoje kancelarije u najprometnijoj ulici severne Kosovske Mitrovice. Do danas slučaj nije rešen. Oliver je, dok je bio živ, sumnjao da Milan Radoičić stoji iza paljenja njegovih kola i ubistva njegovog kuma, što je rekao u intervjuu za BIRN.

Rušenje Savamale:

U sred noći, maskirani ljudi sa fantomkama i bagerima ruše nekretnine u Hercegovačkoj ulici. Prolaznici su bili vezivani i oduzimali su im se telefoni. Policija se nije odazivala na pozive i izašla je na teren 10 dana kasnije kad nije mogla da izvrši uviđaj jer su gradske vlasti uklonile ruševine. Čuvar zgrada u toj ulici je kasnije preminuo.

Beograd na vodi:

Period (2014 - )
Donet je poseban zakon, protivno ustavu i planskoj strategiji razvoja Beograda, koji prisiljava građane da prodaju državi svoju imovinu na teritoriji pri obali Save. Oko 100 hektara najvrednijeg zemljišta, po planu namenjenog za kulturu, poklonjeno je firmi iz Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata na 99 godina. Tu se više od 6 godina gradi luksuzan kompleks Beograd na Vodi, izgradnju prate brojne afere, uključujući i Rušenje Savamale. Prostor je privatno obezbeđen ljudima koji ne daju građanima da priđu kompleksu. U poslednje vreme kruže informacije da su Arapi samo maska i da je ovo projekat Aleksandra Vučića i Mila Đukanovića, mada su za sad to samo tračevi.

Posledice: Najvrednije zemljište u Beogradu poklonjeno privatnicima za izgradnju luksuznih stanova koje skoro nijedan građanin može da kupi.

Kašnjenje evakuacije ljudi iz Obrenovca:

Period (2014)
Na obrisanoj objavi službenog sajta grada Beograda objavljena je molba Siniše Malog građanima Obrenovca da ne napuštaju svoje domove. U poplavama koje su potopile ceo Obrenovac, zvanično se udavilo 17 osoba, ali je broj verovatno veći zato što su vlasti pripisivale neke slučajeve kao prirodnu smrt. Vlada i uprava grada su se bavili PR snimanjima za javnost dok su ljudi ginuli.
Odgovorni: Uprava grada Beograda na čelu sa Sinišom Malim
Posledice: Niko nije odgovarao.

Pad helikoptera:

Period (2015)
Novorođenoj bebi je trebala hitna nega, poslat je helikopter po nju. U povratku, posada je dobila naređenje da slete na drugi heliodrom da bi se ministar slikao sa njima. Posle 2 neuspešna sletanja, posada gubi kontakt u oluji i helikopter se srušio. Živote je izgubilo sedmoro ljudi, uključujući i novorođenu bebu. Tadašnji premijer Aleksadar Vučić je odbio da smeni odgovorne ministre Lončara i Gašića.

Posledice: Izgubljeno 7 života. Aleksandar Vučić "ne da" svoje ministre.

Welcome to the 5th Anniversary banners. We have 4 fest banners with 1 Pick-Up banner at the end. All of the banners have half price for the first pull with gems. The pattern has B1 and 3 with 12 6* and 2 5* and banners 2 and 4 with 11 6* and 3 5*. Each banner has 5 "top prizes" being a combination of 2 Syncs and 3 Awakenings or 1 Synch and 4 Awakenings.
We have the four (traditional) elements well represented here with Earth, Fire, Water and Air represented (Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony...) with each one getting a banner. Given that the analysis of the banners is a bit hard for more than "If you need this element pull here" but I'll give it a go. Also, since I try my best to make sure everything is accurate and matches up I counted multiple times and found that we have 42 new relics between these banners. :)

B1 "Water": A good mix of water magic and physical stuff here. We'll see a lot of Switch Draw type stuff this fest and here Quistis gets it for WatePoison which manages to barely keep the mostly dead Poison element from being completely dead. Rikku takes lessons from Ignis on how to buff a party for Crits. OK finally gets an En-Element for Water with his Synchro. Finally, Noel follows Serah from the realm of Ice into Water. Another interesting development is a NEW Brave USB with Switch Draw.

Overall: It's a solid Water banner and with Water Magic coming so far it means it's no longer nearly as rare as it has been in the past. Physical parties still seem more viable for 6* magicites than magical ones but with a couple magical Water Synchros out now if you've got them Water magic is definately viable for 6* Ifrit.

B2: "Earth": Ok...it's Earth AND Ice. Yuffie took the Earth Ninja crown from Kelger a while ago and her new AASB, AOSB, and Switch Draw Flash just cements her as the top Earth Ninja. You can also pair it with her first AASB for Cap Break 2 and WCast Ninja. Rydia's been at the top of the water game for a while and now her Earth magic also is top tier. Vivi also gets more relevant with a second AASB moving him into the Ice and Lighting realm (with non En-Element Water being possible through Vortex).
Finally we get a new type of chain from Tellah which has the chain limit of a Gen1 chain, the buffs of a Gen 2 chain, instacast, and gives the party 20% extra Earth damage. We'll see another of this type on the next banner. They're not exactly Gen 3 chains since the chain-99 limits it a bit but they're about on par with the gen 2 chains due to the elemental buff they give. Why they choose that we'll have to wait and see...my guess is because they work better than Gen 2 chains for mixed teams but maybe new content will work better with Elemental Damage boosts (though with 6* Magicites giving this too it's value would seem reduced)? I'm going to start noting them as 2.5 Chains since they're a sidegrade in most ways.

Overall: Good Earth and Ice stuff. Ninja's have always been decent and with the 6* Earth Ninja ability Yuffie can put out a ton of damage. Same comment as above for Summoners and Rydia. The new chains are interesting so if your Earth or Ice teams need a boost (6* Valefore anyone?) consider pulling here.

B3 "Fire": Starting off, this banner is the only one with all new items...YAY! If you're still working on 6* Shiva this banner will help you out a lot. Noctis' Synchro has an interesting mechanic and with his new unique ability he should be a fire powerhouse. Of course that's also true of Locke with his Synchro and new unique ability. Baltheir gets one of the new 2.5 Type chains for Fire and we get a new 6* Fire Sharpshooter ability for him. Sephiroth finally brings out his inner blaze, returning to his Nibelheim roots and adds Fire to his Darkness to great effect. Finally there's Sabin who's AASB seems a bit weak with it's reliance on keeping PBlink up. Of course he gets PBlink3 but that still can be risky depending on the boss.

Overall: Solid fire gear and DPS. If you're especially interested in trying out the new unique abilities with a Synchro this is your best shot to be on the cutting edge of the power curve. There's a few rare things like Seph's new USB giving En-Fire stacking and Noctis' Flash+ doing overflow damage but nothing completely new or amazing other than the sheer Fire DPS here.

B4 "Wind": This banner has the least amount of new items with the only new stuff being for Alph and Porom. Porom's stuff is the norm for White mages now so nothing amazing there. Alph's Sync has an interesting mechanic so you only get the Wind RS once but he ends up doubling as a healer (see Lunafreya) which seems a bit odd to me. I don't think DeNA really know what they're doing with Summoner Synchros (though Rydia's Earth one is fine...) so they're trying the hybrid DPS/Healer route which...we'll see if it works out or not. Serifie's stuff also re-appeas here and since not many probably pulled on the collab banner my guess would be it would be new for most people. There's some additional Healer gear here so if you're still short on that it's not a bad place to look to pick something up.

Overall: Feels a bit weaker than the other banners partially due to so much Wind RS on here vs pure DPS. Of course it's useful but once you have it, adding more doesn't help too much. Same goes for healing...if you don't have any healer AASBs, then it becomes critical but once you have one or two they quickly lose their value. This banner falls into that category...if you don't have the stuff here or something close it might be a critical pull for you. If you already do (and most players will if they've been playing for a length of time) then it's value drops quite a bit.

There's also the upcoming AASB Select with 2x11 Draws (Full Price), a Glint Pick-Up, and an Ice Pick-Up (Need Price). Here's what they have:

Hey guys! I thought I would post this because when I tried posting this at the beginning of the month, the AutoMod took it down because for some reason it thought I was giving away codes for events and that's only allowed in the MegaThread... Anyway, enjoy this step-by-step in-depth guide I wrote on setting up Wi-Fi in Gens 4 and 5!
Gen 4 and 5 Wi-Fi is back up and running! You can battle, trade, and even receive past Mystery Gift events! This works in Gen 4 games and Gen 5 games and doesn't require any hacking, cheating, or action replays of any sort! All you need is a DS or 3DS and a Gen 4 or Gen 5 cartridge, and, well, Wi-Fi, of course. Connection capabilities may vary from person to person.
All in all, it depends on the type of Wi-Fi you have, and your best chances to getting it to work are with a 3DS, though with the DS Lite it works for some and not for others. I personally tested this with Pokemon Black and it wouldn't work on my DS Lite, but it worked on my 3DS XL. With my newfound Wi-Fi connection capabilities, through Mystery Gift, I got events that were handed out in 2012, such as Fly Pikachu, V-Create and Fusion Bolt Victini, and Shiny Metagross! Here's some proof!

You can even transfer these events to later gens through PokeTransporter and PokeBank.
After some personal research by scouting for events through Mystery Gift in Black, I have found out that there are at least 26 different events you can get in Gen 5. Apparently, there are fewer events you can get in BW2 compared to BW.
This doesn't work in all aspects of the game, as when I try a random battle, it says 'Communication Error,' but the case may not be the same for y'all. Game Sync also doesn't work, and depositing Pokemon in the GTS doesn't work for Gen 5, either. All aspects of the Gen 4 GTS work, though! You can register Friend Codes within the game itself and battle and trade with anyone as long as you've added them in the Pal Pad, even if they are halfway 'round the world! Random battles may work for some, so let me know if they work for you in Gen 5! Battle videos work, too! In order to get this all to work, it involves simply changing the DNS of your connection. On a 3DS, you'll need to change both the Primary and Secondary DNS. Here is a document telling you all the information you need on this topic.

In the video, he doesn't input the Secondary DNS, but inputting the Secondary DNS also works, as I connected on Gen 4 Wi-Fi with a Primary and Secondary DNS, and it worked just fine.
Only some Wi-Fi connections work on a DS, but a 3DS takes all Wi-Fi connections. For a Gen 5 game on the 3DS, simply pop the game in, go to Internet Settings, click your current Wi-Fi connection, and make it so that Auto-Obtain DNS is off. From there, input your corresponding Primary and Secondary DNS values! (For the secondary DNS, make sure to put two zeros before the one or the eight.) This is what worked for me on Gen 5. After you do all this set-up, just hop on the game and connect! (Remember to go to the Pokemon Center for battles and trades.) If, on Gen 5, you cannot get the connection to work, and if you are using a Wi-Fi network that comes from a router, try using a mobile hotspot that requires a password upon connection!
For Gen 4 on the 3DS, do not change your Primary and Secondary DNS values in the Internet Settings. Instead, do it in the Nintendo WFC Settings in the startup menu of the game itself.
For older DS' like the DS Lite, Gen 5 will not work. Gen 4 will work, and for that, follow the same procedures as you would if you were setting up your Gen 4 game on a 3DS. (In other words, set it all up in the startup menu of the game itself.)
Gen 4 only works with Wi-Fi that doesn't have a password, so if you have data on an Android phone, you can set up a hotspot that can be used for Gen 4 Wi-Fi connection. There are also public places with open Wi-Fi hotspots like Publix and Walmart that you can use to connect. Some might have captive portals which require you to log in to the open network, and those won't work with Gen 4 Wi-Fi connection, so you must find a place with an open Wi-Fi network that doesn't require you to log in upon connection. If you are using a mobile hotspot that doesn't require a password upon connection for Gen 4 and it won't connect, try connecting to a Wi-Fi network that comes from a router. If you have to, change your router to WEP. This will make it so that upon connection, it will not require a password, and you should be able to connect on Gen 4 games.
If Gen 4 doesn't seem to want to work, try both primary DNS values mentioned in the document. I've heard that Pearl is fickle with this Wi-Fi method, as it freezes or disconnects randomly, so if you are attempting to connect on Pearl, be patient and keep on trying. Edit: I tried it on Gen 4 in HeartGold with an open Wi-Fi network by connecting in the Nintendo WFC setting in the start menu of the game itself on a DS Lite and it worked perfectly!

Update: As AlexStonehammer pointed out, Gen 4 Wi-Fi also works for Pokemon Ranger, so you can download the Wi-Fi exclusive missions, including the one that gives you the Manaphy egg! :)
Update: All languages and regions of every Gen 4 and Gen 5 games are compatible with this Wi-Fi method, referred to as Wiimmfi.

Update: The Wi-Fi Train in the Battle Subway in Gen 5 works! You can battle trainers from all around the world now! Here is a page on the topic from an old Gen 5 guide I have!
HUGE Update: PokeCheck is now back up and running for Gen 4 and partially for Gen 5! You can use it to get any Pokemon you'd like, and you can also use it to find out your SID (Secret ID) in Gen 4 if you want to RNG for Shiny Pokemon! There are several guides on it on YouTube, so you can check there for how to do it. It doesn't require any hacking at all; it just involves the GTS.
Update: As JohnnyTheGaymer pointed out, Xfinity routers don't seem to work with this Wi-Fi method at all for Gen 4, even if you set the Wi-Fi security to WEP or Open. So if you have an Xfinity router you might have to buy an old modem or use an Android phone’s mobile hotspot, which is what that user did.
Edit: Here is the website listing the games that they have tested to see whether or not they work with this Wi-Fi method.

Edit: Regarding Error 60000, as TexasAndroid pointed out, this error means that you need to remove your current Wi-Fi settings from your DS and start fresh. The Gen 5 games don't make this easy to do, but the Gen 4 games apparently have an option right in the game to clear out the settings and start fresh. If you get this error, insert a Gen 4 game and use it to knock out the existing Wi-Fi settings so that you can set them up again. If you get another error upon reconnection, simply try again. For another user, they put in their SoulSilver and went into the Wi-Fi settings and reset all the information, then put in their W2 game and it worked!
Update: According to InternalLoss, who works in the Mystery Gift department and who is helping to run this whole thing, there are 38 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in English, 23 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in French, 23 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in German, 24 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in Italian, 22 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in Spanish, 395 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in Japanese, and 79 events that you can get across all four Gen 5 games if they are set in Korean.
Update: You can now participate in random battles and watch Battle Videos in Gen 5!
Tip: As Waeiwa pointed out, if you don’t have access to a hotspot without a password or a WEP connection, there is another way to connect online for the gen 4 events. Go onto your Wi-Fi settings on a browser and go to the guest connection settings. Make a guest Wi-Fi connection and set the password to nothing. This is risky but as long as you don’t leave it on when you aren’t using it, you should be fine. Connect to the password-less guest Wi-Fi on your DS and change the DNS like you would with a WEP connection and it should work. Just don’t forget to turn off/disable the guest Wi-Fi afterward because an open connection isn’t safe.
Update: I see a lot of people having trouble with either connecting to the servers or receiving gifts in certain games, so I just wanted to let you know that even if you do everything correctly, there is still a random chance that connection to the servers will fail or that certain gifts won't appear for you.
