CBS Sports: C. He’s a heck of a player, but didn’t they draft Michael Mayer last year and signed Harrison Bryant this year? They have other needs. Don’t really like this pick that much. It’s not like he’s a good blocker for their run game. Strange pick with other needs.
ESPN: What a strange first-round selection, especially considering tight end was addressed last season with the second-round selection of Michael Mayer. Offensive tackle and cornerback were bigger needs. New general manager Tom Telesco must have simply relied on his draft board and gone best player available, especially with Oregon State RT Taliese Fuaga and every single CB still available. ESPN: The Raiders finally address their defense at defensive back in particular, with Richardson who is 6-foot-2 and ran the 40 in 4.34 seconds. He needs development but did lead Mississippi State with 7 pass breakups last season, even as he never had an interception. He's also not afraid to stick his nose in the scrum as he had a combined 164 tackles the last two seasons.

Hello I am having an issue with caching certain shaders if they are using a .gdshader script.
Scenario: I have an enemy that will spawn a poison cloud when they die. This uses a Cylinder Mesh that uses a gdshader in the material override. With most particle effects I only have to load it once for the shader to be cached and then I never get the stutter again. However with gdshaders, it seems like they need to load every single time with the exception if shader is already present within the scene. Aka if there is already a poison cloud, it loads instantly, but if the poison cloud get removed and a new poison cloud spawns, then the shader has to be loaded again cause a stutter.
The shaders uses 2 noise textures and I only began to notice it when I made them 512x512 instead of the 64x64 low res images. There is still a tiny frame loss with the low res images but I'd just like to remove stutter on instantiated shaders.
Is there any tips on how I can force the shader to get cached or am I doing this completely wrong with .gdshaders and need to rethink my approach?

I (20F) was invited to a vacation back in December by my friend (21F) to Disneyland. My friend, let’s call her Mary, invited me to this trip back in February of last year. We have known each other for over 8 years and this seemed like a no brainer to me to say yes. This trip comprised of six people: Mary, Mary’s sister Lucy (19F), Mary’s Mom, Mom’s boyfriend, boyfriend’s son, and myself.
For context, Mary and Lucy’s dad passed a few years back and mom got a new boyfriend pretty soon after. The sisters were not happy with this as boyfriend and son moved into their house. Because of this, we were separated into groups to do our own things, me & the sisters and then mom, boyfriend, & son. We were pretty happy with this arrangement as it allowed us to be independent and go at our own pace.
For this trip, the mom got a resort for all of us to stay at. As I was invited, I did not pay for my accommodation, only for my own traveling and food. We stayed for a whole week and had some rest days in between parks (important later on)
Fast forward and it is our first day at Disneyland. We get up early and go to the first park and start going on rides. Everything seems fine so far but then Mary chimes in that Lucy and I start walking too fast to get around. I tell her that I’m used to walking fast from past vacations so she can just yell at me to slow down and I will. Through the day she does tell me to slow down and I do! First day ends and the next day is a rest day.
I have never been on a vacation before with rest days and I am used to constantly doing something every day. I suggest to Mary and Lucy about going on universal for one of our rest days and they both say no thanks. I start planning on going by myself until I remember I have an online friend online that I would love to meet up with at the park. We then set plans to meet on the Fourth Day. I did try my hardest to convince both Mary and Lucy to come with me to universal but they were pretty stubborn in not going.
Third Day comes around and everything goes to shit. We get there pretty early because we wanted to get in line for a really popular ride. As we are scanning our cards to get in the park, Mary’s card is not scanning correctly. I look back towards Lucy who motions me to run ahead and grab us a place in line. I get in line and message in our group chat where I’m at. Now this is where I admit I messed up. Lucy messages that Mary doesn’t feel comfortable cutting ahead in line and I get a bit angry. I tell them I’m not moving from my place in line and they need to come up where I’m at. Lucy then says that Mary doesn’t feel good and they leave the line., telling me to go ahead
At this point my mind is just like WTF?! I leave the line and catch up to them but Mary walks away as soon as I get close. Lucy tells me that Mary is really angry and doesn’t want to talk right now. We both decide to let her cool off and talk about it later. Well the rest of the day goes by and we don’t see her again. I wasn’t in contact with Mary for the rest of the day but Lucy, throughout the day, tries to get her to come back. We find out later that Mary joined the other group for the day and went on the rest of the rides with them.
The fourth day comes around and I go out to see my friend at universal. When I go back to the resort, Lucy informs me that she had to sleep on the floor last night because Mary refused to share a bed with her. Lucy then shares a a bed with me for the rest of the trip and we decide to keep doing our thing until everyone cools off.
The fifth and sixth day come and pass, with me and Lucy by ourselves exploring the other parks. The seventh day comes and it is time to fly back home. We go to the airport together as a group but Lucy and I sit away from them on the plane as there is no assigned seating. I get picked up from the airport and trip is over.
It’s super close to Christmas so I don’t talk to Mary or Lucy. It isn’t until after the new year where me and Mary exchange conversations. From my perspective, I thought this was just something minor that would eventually look back upon and laugh but I was so wrong. I drop by Mary’s house to pay back some of the vacation money I owed her and we are chatting it up like nothing. Everything seems fine to me! A few weeks pass and our new school semester begins. I invite her out a few times but she claims school is giving her no time for breaks with fair enough. I stop reaching out as I also got busy then out of nowhere I get a message from Mary saying she wants to cut contact and considers our friendship over. Let me tell you I was devastated. I sent a message back but I think she blocked me and never saw it.
After a month of thinking about everything, I reach out to Lucy telling her that herself as well as Mary are still welcome to my house at any time as I know their home situation. She responds well and we meet up in secret to discuss everything. Turns out at home, her whole family turned against her blaming me and her for ruining the trip. Mary is also really mad that I went to go see my friend at Universal. Things eventually mellowed out and she’s back on speaking terms with Mary but the rest of the family are all fighting against each other for other reasons I won’t mention. Lucy told me she would try mentioning rekindling our friendship with Mary but then later let me know Mary is not interested at all.
Well, now I’m just kinda stuck here waiting to see what comes next. I still love Mary so much as a friend so it just kinda sucks this is were we are at. I know I should have reached out at some point to apologize but it just seemed so ridiculous that Mary couldn’t even tell me why she was upset directly, I had to get all my information from Lucy.

After a lot of considerations, i decided that i want the Fractal Design Focus 2, mostly because it's cheap, it includes decent fans, it has a mesh for the front panel, and the general minimalistic, and not too "gaming" design.
But i have a concern about dust building up on the PC parts since it doesn't have a dust filter for the front panel unlike the Meshify 2, while some said that it's better to not have a dust filter for better airflow, i'm on the lazier side of cleaning my PC so having less dust accumulate over longer time is definitely a plus if that's an option.
What is your experience on using the Fractal Design Focus 2? Does anyone have problem with dust accumulating as a result of the case not having a front filter?
And lastly, i would appreciate if you guys would recommend me some other cases just for considerations, my options before this was Phanteks P400A and the Meshify 2.

Hi everyone! I've been working as a VA for a US based ecom for almost 2 years now. At first, the work environment provided for us was really nice despite the fact that pay and benefits aren't really that great. But last year, the micromanaging has really been on a different level and have heard horror stories from co-employees that have been there longer than me that getting a proper pay raise was nearly impossible. Anyway here are some of my gripes and the reasons why I'm really considering on quitting:
- 10 days PTO "awarded" after 1 year, 2 days PTO increase every year after 1st year. Take note, those PTO days are the only ones you can use your whole tenure in the company, so if gagamit ka ng 5 days sa 1st year mo, 7 days PTO ka nalang sa 2nd year mo and the rest of your time sa company except for the 2 PTO increase. Basically, you'd need to work for another 5 years to get 10 days of extra PTO.
- No holidays except christmas and new year
- Time tracker that takes screenshots, wasn't a problem at first but now everytime may 2 consecutive scs or "gap", HR will flag you bakit ganito ganyan
- HR will also flag your unpaid time off or absences if it reaches to 20% per quarter which is a bit unfair naman as we have little to no wiggle room with our PTO policy
- 1 month resignation notice, if you fail to follow this, they will not compensate properly and will withhold pay
- Tracking KPIs using quantitative approach which again is fair, but with our EOD reports, weekly and monthly meetings, plus time tracker--ewan parang I feel like robots lang kami na dapat productive the whole 8 hour shift and required na may numbers kami to show for it, if wala edi hindi ka productive in their eyes
- Almost 2 years na ako with the company pero feeling a bit stuck cause they keep laying off people in my team. Still doing the tasks that I did since day 1 (CS and admin work) on top of higher level managerial tasks while I only got a total of 40% hourly increase in the last year and a half. 40% in hindsight sounds good pero $1.3 lang talaga yan
- Lastly, had a 1 on 1 with a higher up who said that I'm not meeting their expectations when the past 2 years I've increased revenue to basically 1300% the last 2 years and increased the number of brands from 3 initially when I was onboarded to 38 now. Adding also that when I was onboarded there was little to no training/support provided to me. This resulted in me being highly anxious and getting chest pains na because of that incident.

i F16 am the youngest of my family and currently the last one in high school. i feel that my parents favor my older sibling over me and i have many reasons to believe so. my older sister and brother both were given brand new at the time 2020 flat-screen tvs while i was a tv that was made in the early 2000s. they bought my sibling gifts and expensive shoes while I've had to buy my clothes and shoes with my birthday and Christmas money and that is the only time i get money and it my relatives that send me money my parents have never given me a single dime unless they had too. everything in my room are hand-me-downs from my siblings nothing new and nothing lasts. my parents don't remember my age, birthday, or month i was born in, nor how to spell the name they chose for me. im also currently typing this on a used pc that I've had for 7 years and is the only access i have to my friends and the internet they wont buy me a phone not even one for emergencies and i bought this pc with my own money i saved. my father used to be sexually abusive to me when i started growing into my body and he acts as if it never happened and leaving me with horrible trauma and the fear of men. my mother is neglective i only remember her showing up two times for any school related thing and she only stayed long enough to watch me for only one of the two. i dont remember having a childhood not even a happy one yes i do love my sibling dearly and they have done no wrong to me nor even tried to but my parents whenever i try to talk to them about something important for me argue and say that im too young for it and the real world will eat me alive. i don't feel love for my parents mostly my father i don't love him at all but im not sure about my mom im not sure about her. my life before i turned 16 was horrible i was even planning to run away to a different state after my 16th birthday it was that bad it was also to the point where i was thinking about ending my life even though i had never come to that conclusion before. i feel like im a failure, not even worth anything i feel empty and all ive been able to do these past days was cry. im getting back to the point of rethinking about ending it all again its hard and i hate just having to bear everything alone the only people i can tell are strangers who ill never know. im scared and all i can do is cry and cry and cry. i feel all alone in this world like everything i do is worthless. i hate myself i wish i could tell my friends and have everything be ok for once. i want to be free with no one making the decisions for me i just want to breathe air that isn't filled with contempt for myself i just want to breathe and feel human as if im finally living for once in my life just being alive and nothing else. i hate being where i am i hate the noises of the fans in the ceilings i hate the birds chirping in the morning i hate waking up to find no food left for me i hate waking up and finding myself alone. nothing to call people to one to reach nothing to do but wait and cry. i hate being alone but its all i wish for in this house its the only time i can breathe just breathe. i know i wont do harm to myself as i hate even the smallest amounts of pain or even the thought of doing anything to myself so dont worry about that im trying to better myself even though its barely helping. i just need a way out of this family somewhere that's not here anywhere but "home".
