2024.05.21 16:29 sxs789qwe Some information from the SMTVV trial event

I went to a game exhibition called Gamecores on Saturday. They gave each person 25 minutes of trial play time. l went to play twice, and below are some of the information and impressions l got from the trial. Moreover, since the game is in the Chinese version, l cannot guarantee that the translation of the name of the innate skill is correct. For some names that are difficult to translate, l will directly describe which demon possesses them and their effects.

Innate skill

Innate skill is somewhat similar to Trait in Persona 5 Royal, not all innate skills are unique, but for now, it seems that they cannot inherit other demons' innate skills like in P5R.
The X means to skill type like fire ice light dark etc.
X Melody: While active, all allies will deal increased X element damage when striking enemies with a weakness to X. There is also physical version, but it increases the critical hit damage. There might also be an Almighty version.(for this guy is ice)
Enhancer: While active, allies with a lower affinity for X skills than yourself will have their affinity increased to the same level as yours(for unicorn is light)
The higher the affinity for a X element among allies (except yourself, the higher the damage of your corresponding skills. for apsarā is Ice)
Higher accuracy and critical hit chance against enemies inflicted with status ailments.
More likely to naturally recover from status ailments.
Innate skills with a chance are more likely to activate.
Pathfinder - The accuracy of your next ally is greatly increased, and it is not easy to misjudge targets even when inflicted with mirage.
Wanderer - While active, the refresh time for relics becomes shorter.
Neko 2 Punch - If there is another member in the party with this trait, damage is increased.
Allies’ magic skills also have a chance to critical hit enemies inflicted with status ailments.
While in the active party, allies with Omagatoki effects will have multi-hit attacks' Accuracy and max possible hits increased.
When demons are unhappy during a conversation, they will come out to mediate.
While in Omagatoki effect, inflicting an enemy with a status ailment does not cost a press turn.
When attacking an enemy in a sleep ailment, the sleep will not be dispelled.
If the previous all performed a single-target attack, then attacking the same target will have Increased accuracy and critical hit chance.
Innate skill: Magatsuhi Spring - When the Magatsuhi gauge is full, restore some mp. New unique skill: increases 30 hp and mp
Yoko's innate skill: Deceased demons will be restored to 1hp after the battle ends.
Other innate skill or unique skill without image:
Unique Skill:
Pellaidh -Seal and lower attack 1 level to all foes
Innate Skill:
Andras:-The higher the number of hits from our attacks, the higher the damage of our own wind attribute skills.
Inugami-Increases the damage to weaknesses for the next ally.
Mokoi-Increases the damage to weaknesses against enemies with status ailments.
Leanan Sidhe-Increases damage to weaknesses and the success rate of inflicting status ailments.
Since it's the very early stage of the game, I didn't find any new miracles. The protagonist's innate skill should be able to be changed through the essence of Aogami, but whether we can use other demons' innate skills remains unknown.

New Demon

Glasya-Labolas
Race: Beast;
Null Force/Dark and Mirage, weak to elec
Yesterday's live stream showcased its unique skill, but the specific effects are unknown.
Innate Skill: When our party members hit/evade increase 2 level, critical hit chance is increased

New Magatsuhi Skill based on alignment

The Hare of Inaba side quest for rewarded a law-neutral alignment Magatsuhi skill. By gathering two law-neutral demons, you can use the calamity skill “Spring of Order.” It only requires one demon to participate in battle. The effect is to heal the skill user beyond their maximum HP and increase 1 press turn icon for the next round (which means 10 actions in total).
Additionally, the rate at which the Magatsuhi gauge fills is noticeably faster than in the original smtv. It feels like the combat system in smtvv is built with Magatsuhi skills as one of its cores.

Naamah Boss fight

Stat
Weak to physical, reist fire/ice/elec/force, null dark?(can't remeber too well, kind of blur)
Innate Skill: When the team member are same race with Naamah increase accuracy and evasion
Unique Skill: Dekaja+Charm to all foes
The Naamah boss battle takes place in the original 'The Angel's Trail' quest. Naamah will teleport you to the sacred land of Qadištu, which is the place with the giant snake skeleton shown in the trailer. After the boss battle, the remaining members of Qadištu appear, and Lilith says, “Now the time has come for you to prepare the Nahobino for sacrifice."
This battle seems to test a newcomer's understanding of the ailment and resistance system, because Naamah only uses dark skills. If you have a demon that nullifies dark, you can easily neutralize it. The more challenging part is the charm, as there aren't many ways to cure status ailments for whole team in the early stage of the game.
My team composition was Obariyon, Zhu Tun She, and Daemon. I needed to protect Zhu Tun She because it is weak to dark. Apsaras and Mermaid served mainly as support roles and Magatsuhi skill launchers. Apsaras's Magatsuhi skill can grant up to 10 actions in the next round. Mermaid's innate skill increases the maximum number of hits and accuracy, but there might be a cap on this maximum number of hits in Omagatoki effect; it seems that Aramasa still hits 8 times, which is very obvious when using other multi-hit skills. The trial play lineup was quite limited; the official version will offer more choices.

Misc

The game runs on PC, with 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, very smooth, and the graphics look good. You can use the sky view anywhere.
Didn't really explore the demon haunts much.

Taste of Royal at 150, Upset that it was not wonderland as was posted. Meals were underrated and the time in between courses was 20+ min long very boring. Also, wine pairing is extra $. Took over 2 hours.
Casino to check things out. Hang out on balcony then Dinner MDR, Casino and left happy with some winnings, pool rest of the night. Hit the solarium and we were the only 2 people in the pool with a full ship, met up with new friends we made to say goodbye. Back to room to pack.

Day9 – Sunday Disembark
Woke up 545. Both showered. Breakfast at Solarium Bistro, off the boat with our bags at 730. We chose to self-disembark to not deal with the hassle of finding out bags to walked straight to GO Port to bring us back to MCO
bus left and picked more people up at Carnival Mardigras, off to MCO. By the time we got through security at gate C and relax, it was 930… flight was delayed till 4..

Some Facts-
We did have the drink package and we always had a drink in our hands.
Yes, a lot of room time as it was a good way to get away from the crowds.
This was my second cruise but first as an adult.
A lot of Solarium time to stay away from the kids so I have no complaints about them as other people have.
Food everywhere I had Sorrento’s and hot dogs whenever we passed.
I miss that blue water so
Biggest Complaint would have to the older generation, They complaint the most and were the rudest people Ive ever seen.
for MDR we had Ivan and his assistant Agus (who was on his first week) and they were amazing and made us laugh everynight.
food was good everywhere, idk why everyone complains there when i dont have to cook it and its all handed to me.
5 stars across the board

2024.05.21 16:15 Isomodia Last played on Ragefire, thinking of returning for Teek

I just had a few questions that I don't see being addressed here.
I played EQ "seriously" as a preteen back in 99-04. I never did any meaningful raiding or endgame content, but I enjoyed grouping up and killing orcs in Crushbone or Undead in Mistmoore and just chatting with folks.
I know that it isn't 1999, and that type of player is mostly extinct at this point, but I jumped on the WoW classic train since I had missed the original vanilla version of the game (due to playing EQ,) and had very little fun. Even in levelling content, players were trying to "min-max" groups. Everyone was zerging for level cap and even random PuG groups were excluding class X or Y because they weren't "as good" as class A or B.
That sucks. I mean, I generally wanted a priest and a taunt in my EQ groups, but the idea of a druid not being able to group because "SKs are the best Knight class" and they pair best with Shaman, is just unfun. I want to be able to do content with my buddies. I want to grab a Knight, a Priest, some kind of CC, and some stabby-types and go kill froglocs. I want to do stuff with Joe and Mikey because Joe and Mikey are fun to hang out with in voice-chat, you know?
I played vanilla. It was hard!
I played on Ragefire, it was pretty neat!
I played on P99, it was FAR beyond what I was looking for!
I assume that Teek is going to be very similar to Ragefire? I know that we have relaxed XP, no "hell levels" and no-drop on death, which are all HUGE boons for someone like myself. I know that in-game maps exist (awesome!)
Is there anything I'm missing? Have things gotten more relaxed since Ragefire in other ways I'm missing? I enjoyed playing there, but I did stall out around 45 on my rogue because I fell too far behind due to real-life commitments and groups took hours to find at my level. I've got more time now, and I'm starting at launch (or at least within a day or two once the initial flood washes through... too much for me!) so I don't forsee that being a concern. I have enough time to invest, but I've also got a family that means I'm rarely all-in attention-wise (outside of doing group content, of course! Gamer wife is awesome and doesn't mind keeping the kids wrangled solo while I focus for a few hours here and there!)
I'm pretty set on playing a ranger this go-around, or possibly returning to the rogue. I've also played cleric and warrior in the past, but I don't care to fill those "group leader" roles these days, so a DPS feels like the way to go. I could be tempted by a good argument to a "support" role like enchanter or bard, though I'm looking to avoid difficult playstyles. (I'm aware this is a 25 year old game and difficult is a relative term, but I'm a casual, is what I'm driving at.)
I just want to have fun. I don't know anybody else that plays, and the modern MMO loop and mindset of the player base just has me fatigued, but I'm not ready to give up on the genre just yet. I had that fun here, a long time ago, and I hope maybe there is a little magic left for an aging-out online gamer. I'm only 34!

‎Weird Recommendation of the Day; Stone Story RPG
This is a charming game. Yes, it’s an RPG at first glance, with all of the standard tropes and mechanics, but I think I’d categorize this more in the incremental genre as the growth system feels like a step-by-step as you’ll see damage factors preventing you from moving forward until you figure out how to progress (often you’ll be defeated by a single hit point). Of course you’ll need to gather resources and weapons as you explore new spots, but like many crafting/survival games you’ll have to grind certain areas for their goods, but beware that areas become more difficult after every clearing. Combat is auto, but you can pause and switch out gear (recommended) depending on the enemy or scenario. And there is a camp you’ll be upgrading where you can build new stuff or props and continue on your way, all basics in the Role Playing Game game, but it’s the presentation that sells the show.
It’s not fast paced, nor especially extravagant but if the game had its own stats, its charisma would be an 18. Maxed and relaxed. It’s simple, slick and confident and frankly you should check it out for yourself.

2024.05.21 15:56 Training_Leopard3599 Questions on old paperwork and correspondence - RCA related

I've dealt with a lot of things but am completely out of my depth with this latest find. This last buy included some paperwork that is correspondence, instructions, blueprints, patents, and a letter with Walt Disney's Fantasia letterhead from William E. Garity about the Academy Award it won with a picture of the award. Everything ranges from 1931-1942 and all centers around a gentleman Max T. Schomacker and mostly RCA. Most items are about things he was inventing or fixing and his work. Other people involved in correspondence with autographs are William E. Garity, M.C.Batsel, E.W. Kellogg, and A.G. Zimmerman. I've found a little information on everyone but with how niche this is can't get any idea of value or even what to do with this. Really cool history though. Added some pictures to give an idea of what things look like (don't mind the cracks in my lens). Appreciate any help with what others have done or found to be helpful in these situations or someone who dabbles in this.

2024.05.21 15:47 Physical_Wallaby721 Underwriter Opinions Requested

Hi all -
I was hoping to gain some insight into the day to day of the Insurance profession. Particularly that of being an underwriter. Admittedly, I am not in the industry, nor do I have any intention of entering it. The reason I ask is because a friend of mine is in the industry. Specifically, as a Directors and Officer's underwriter for a major firm. And long story short, it seems wildly easy. I'm talking 30 hour work weeks max. with lunches, dinners and happy hours a weekly norm. Additionally it seems as though the work can be done from anywhere (the golf course and poolside are his favorites). From what I have observed, the bulk of the job mainly consists of filing paperwork, delegating tasks to others, and taking very simple notes on potential clients. Myself and our other roommates have attempted to ask how his job appears so simple, but he gets quite defensive about it and we just leave it alone.
So my question is... is this the norm? Did he just luck out with seemingly the greatest job of all time? (keep in mind he is very well paid). I mean not to knock the profession but rather field some opinions.
Thanks all!

2024.05.21 15:35 Ragntard Letter "to" the chairman - The future of game loops

Letter
I wasn't able to post this on spectrum for some reason so I'm sending it here! (Might be too long?) Maybe someone sees it, maybe not? But at-least I've posted my thoughts :)
https://preview.redd.it/bka0rk8qds1d1.png?width=400&format=png&auto=webp&s=7a904858339a52bb7148c9671e7093d75c3dff43
Edit: was able to post it after removing the parts about "streamers" for some reason? Please go and upvote it if any of this makes sense to you https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/61894/thread/letter-to-the-chairman-the-future-of-game-loops
Since SC is moving into a phase where more focus is going to actual gameplay loops, I think now's the time to give ideas and feedback on what directions this should take. I've had a growing concern the last 2 years or so that the type of gameplay that CIG is moving towards won't hold up in the long run. We can have the most advanced game ever, but if the essential game loops consist of "fly to marker X, shoot or deliver something, fly to next marker" this game simply will not be enjoyable in the long run for most players.
Instead I think CIG should focus on what makes their game great, the sandbox experience! How many of us have jumped into the PTU only to spend hours experimenting with what ship fits in what, or how we can use different systems in unexpected ways?
So here's my open letter with ideas from a long time backer!

Quantum jumps

QT jumps should have the potential to be dangerous, and possibly even damage your ship, but once a jump is performed it leaves behind a trace that others can use to easier calculate a safe jump. The more people that use the same QT point, the safer it gets.
There should also be specific areas that can boost QT jumps in different ways (or make them more dangerous).

Bounty hunters

Since QT jumps leave traces, these could be scanned for ship ID codes, satellites could also help players pinpoint where a specific ship ID has been and how often they've been there. This would be used to find locations that the target is at often as if playing hot or cold. When in a "warm area" with lots of trace of the target, the hunter could then land and visit different locations and talk to NPCs for the last bit.

Exploration

Explorers could help out scanning for interesting locations in space, and good QT spots, but the most important part of this to make it fun for everyone would be procedural generation. Exploration simply won't be as fun if you can only find shipwrecks or prebuilt places.
So this is a big one, but the only true solution I see here would be procedurally generated systems. Random wormholes could show up that leads to random generated systems (these would of course not have the same fidelity as built ones, but wouldn't need cities or NPCs for the most parts).
When exploring such a system there could be a time limit until the wormhole closes again, or you could spend resources to stabilize it, you would also have to rely on crafting to actually survive in systems with potential dangers such as solar storms (that might force you to land in the safety of an atmosphere) or weather systems.

Pirates

With the more defined QT lanes, pirates would have an easier time finding common travel routes for merchants where they could get a location to sit and wait for victims. But the larger lanes would have more security, and the best merchants would use more secret lanes with QT boosts that pirates would also want to find.
Players would want to keep these secret as if more people know about these lanes, more merchants/pirates would flock there and its value would decrease.

Merchants

Much like pirates it would be a game of constantly finding new stable QT lanes that are safe and quick, the QT boosts could be temporary (lets say that an area gives a boost for maybe a week or so), and after they expire a new one would have to be found.

Mercenaries

The QT lanes would also help here, and scanning ships for ID codes that can be marked as stolen. Traveling these lanes and getting interdicted would also simply give them free targets to shoot down, and more danger for pirates hanging out at the same place.

Mechanics

Apply the same systems that ships are getting to landing zones, a mechanic could start working for a company in their distribution centers, fixing them after battles and restoring things that intruders have broken (like if an intruder has turned off the lights, or locked down a door). If you don't have markers and specific quests other than "fix the light", a good mechanic would have to have some knowledge about a certain locations systems, while a novice mechanic could do simpler tasks or work as an apprentice where someone says what to do (and gives markers to the player, a sort of "hey you! Go here and replace this thing so the lights start working").
A mechanic with lots of experience would get offered jobs at larger locations and eventually cities or maybe navy NPC ships in dry dock. They would also be able to do it alone without NPC assistance for more money.

Guilds and factions

The factions could sell some or all of the above data that their members hand in for rewards (another explorer loop) and the better the data, only the higher members would have access to it.

Radio stations

LOTS of streamers love SC, why not give them an in-game platform? (and something to do during QT for everyone else). Imagine the radio stations of GTA but live with people broadcasting things in game.
A gameplay loop would be to build broadcast towers in each system (on land you have to acquire) and maintaining them. We already have technology to send video streams during calls in game, why not let the reliant mako some purpose in game?
You could broadcast races, or just host a news show about the lore stuff.

Ship systems

These are in a really good state already, but try not to create a game loop with the systems you have, simply make them work together and see what players do with them.
If fire depends on oxygen and invaders jump onboard, let us increase the oxygen in one room for a fun explosion when they fire weapons for instance, or increase pressures to dangerous amounts for anyone without a helmet!

Animals

Some people have already lured animals onto their ships, so give us cages (simple boxes with doors we can open and close) and some form of lures like food?
These could be used simply to trap and keep creatures, or to drop the cages into enemy camps and remote unlock them! (could also be used to trap other players and NPCs?).

No-fly zones and anti pad rammers

Give us a max speed limit in some areas, this would help beginners that are landing as they have to take it slow, and pad ramming etc. would be harder as turrets could shoot down players a lot easier.
This could be done via mastermodes or some sort of "tractor beam field" thing that slows items in its area (would not exist at all stations).

Crashed ships

This is already being worked on, this is just a reminder of how great of a feature this would be, and that it should not be forgotten!
The idea that ships shot down in orbit crash to the surface and generate crash sites that in time can become dwellings is just incredible for sandbox type gameplay.
The idea is simply give us fun tools, that aren't 100% designed for only one profession or use case, but things that we can experiment with. A lot of these stated above have been described for only one profession, but like the mechanic role above, a good pirate would know how to turn off certain systems or hack into things to download maps and schematics that the mechanic also uses in day to day work (or maybe even simply kidnap a poor mechanic that already has insider info?).
And please move away from nav markers as much as possible!
Those are my thoughts, hope someone reads this and adds some ideas of their own!

2024.05.21 15:33 joshuarowley42 Race Report: MIUT 85k

Finished my first ultra a few weeks ago, the MIUT 85k, and wanted to share my experience as a novice! 🏃‍♂️
Firstly: thank you all for making this sub an awesome place to learn more about this (totally insane) sport. I have been inspired every day by the posts that I have seen here, and I have learned a huge amount from you all.
Below is a brief summary. Link to a more full article at the bottom.
Background: Coming from a max distance of 40k (Snowdon 3 Peaks), I targeted the MIUT 85k with its brutal 5,000m elevation gain. Trained hard for a year with my coach, Simon, and managed to cross the finish line in 15:13:31, way under my goal of 18 hours!
Preparation: Worked with a coach to build a solid training plan, read Jason Koop’s "The Essentials for Ultra Running" for extra insight (recommended on this sub..), and stayed proactive with physio care. Sleep and diet were also key components. Nerded out a bit by studying the course in 3D, planning my nutrition, and setting up my gear meticulously.
Race Day:
Reflection: This was an amazing journey, both the race and the preparation. Learned a lot about the importance of good support and what matters in planning. If you’re considering an ultra, go for it! Enjoy the process, listen to your body, and embrace the challenge. Huge thanks to my coach, physio, and wife. On to the next adventure! 🌄
My friend posted the full report on her website: https://run-ultra.com/news/miut-85k/

2024.05.21 15:31 jezzejamezz Question

I’m looking to buy myself a MacBook Pro, yet I can’t decide should I buy the current one, 16” with a M3 Max or should I wait some months and acquire the 16” with a M4 Max.
I have now saved over 4,5k which I could splurge on the Mac, or put it into my bank’s fund or other relatively safe investments and then take it out after ~6 months to start shopping some time before Black Friday begins and then with the receipt I could ask for the price difference to be refunded. (If store now sold something for $1000 but two weeks or other small time window later it’s being sold for say $800, you can make a dispute in some cases.) Of course, I could also just buy during Black Friday. The risk is just that the devices could be sold out.
When put in this way, the second option sound a lot better, right?!. The downside here is that I would be without a computer for close half a year, as I just went and sold my previous one. I don’t need a computer right away, so I could wait.
What would you do?
I live in Europe so our prices are higher and I assume we also don’t have access so Apple’s Certified Refurbished.
Thanks,

2024.05.21 14:42 BoutxDatxAction Should I move out of an Apartment I Love to save $1k a month

Situation:
Bring in $3k after taxes - in mid 20s - not much debt - got scholarship for college and have ~$6k in total debt (credit card and personal loan with a manageable interest rate)
Current apartment (in NJ, 1 bed 1 bath) I love I am locked in at $2k a month because I would be renewing and they can only Jack rent up so much per year legally in NJ, my exact apartment is going for $2450 if you move in as new tenant right now
I have opportunity to move into a moderate housing unit through state for a total of $1100 a month. The apartment is a 1 bedroom, slightly smaller - not updated like current apartment (not renovated like current apartment is) but it’s in a good/safe community where the updated apartments also go for $2k+ - so it’s safe, just not renovated and it’s a little gross in my opinion (especially compared to where I am now) but it’s is doable/livable if I had to.
Is saving ~$10k over the course of 12 month lease worth the hassle of moving + leaving a place I actually enjoy living?
I obviously am not saving much - my monthly take home is $3k right now and rent is $2k…. I don’t have much emergency savings yet, and don’t get family help with money — I am maxing out 401k contributions at the moment which makes take home pay a little less
I am expecting to get a new job within the next 2 months - I am studying for professional exams which will immediately jump me up in salary by at least $1k a month and potentially much more in near future after that.
Is saving the $10k THAT big of a deal at this stage in my life? Is it worth it to move somewhere I may not be happy from a place I know I am comfortable and is a lot yes, but less than comparable apartment under normal circumstances in my area?
I have like a week to decide and I can’t sleep over this. I am comfortable and more or less happy where I am. I am having a difficult time weighing pros and cons of saving an extra $1k a month. It’ll help me build my savings and allow me to do more things like take a trip/buy new golf clubs - more breathing room essentially - but when I get this pay bump - I will be able to do that in current apartment as well - BUT then I think about a full year of making $4k+ a month and only having to pay $1100 in rent and that would be even more than $10k saved over the course of the year
Really struggling here, having options is a blessing but this one is causing me such stress and anxiety. Do I stay where I am happy and then live with the fact I am leaving money on the table that can change the way I’m saving/preparing for next phase of life (home ownership, building retirement fund) —- or move to a place where I will save more money but I don’t know if I’ll be happy there. It is only a year lease…. If I’m that miserable would just need to make it 12 months (but would then need to try to reenter the apartment market at current jacked up rates and no longer locked into my “lower” $2k a month rent that they legally can only gradually Jack up.
Please help. I know I have to make the decision but desperate for outside perspective and advice. Is the saving in rent over 12 months and the extra cash I’ll be able to save worth leaving a place I love that’s under market value but still too expensive? Would you move or not?

2024.05.21 14:35 willyq711 RV Towing and Vehicle Selection

Greetings all,
So I grew up with RV trailers in the family (3) and now that I have my own fam, looking to get a pre-owned one to see how it goes. Things have changed since the 80's and 90's, but nothing beats good times and memories in the RV life....
I'm looking to get a 26-30' trailer (Jayco, Coleman, etc) that sleeps 8-10 weighting an average of 5500 lbs, with a 625 lb tongue/hitch weight. Of course have to add on perhaps 1000+ lbs for other items (food, luggage, water, etc) over the dry weight, and perhaps another 200 lbs to that tongue weight for filled tanks and batteries.
My question here is that I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 1500, for which, it will either be a RAM 3.0 Ecodiesel or 3.6 V6. I only will tow the RV around 4-6 times a year, and this truck will be my daily driver so it needs to have the best mpg possible (I'm in commercial real estate and am on the road often with mixed city/Hwy driving). The ecodiesel is at 9600 lb (3.92 gears) towing capacity, but diesels require more and higher cost maintenance, higher fuel prices and come with their own set of issues now and then (but it gets 22/29 mpg). The V6 tows 7730 lbs (3.55 gears) or 6840 woth the 3.21 gears, and gets 19/24, but those engines are flawless and it's around $5K less than the diesel. I may consider pre-owned as well, but even then the pricing difference is still the same.
I'm wondering if the 3.92 gears on the diesel will hurt my mpg, even with the better efficiency on the diesel. I'd probably prefer the gasoline V6 with 3.21 gears, but that maxes out at a towing of 6840 lbs. Like I said, I do need a truck, but want to maximize my daily mpg as much as possible. I could care less as to the mpg when towing, but don't want to have the truck maxing out on my towing trips either.
Anyone that can chime would be great.

Maxed out cooking facilities
Hi all! I recently maxed out my cooking facilities and I haven’t been able to figure out how to speed up gold accrual now. All my cooking cats had the corresponding skill (soup skills cat on soup, stir fry skills cat on stir fry, etc.) Soup and Stir fry cats have 5 stars and my juicer has 4. My soup cat has the highest hearts with 7, followed by my stir fry cat with 5. Juice kitty only has 1.
I put my soup/highest #of hearts cat on my most recent ingredient (papayas), but left my stir fry kitty and juicer at their cooking facilities. I’m working on upgrading my papaya station, but am really close to getting my next ingredient at 1000 ld.
My juice price seems like it will forever be stuck at the price around “ks”. If that’s the case, does that mean it’ll just take me longer and longer to reach new ingredients?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I’ve tried to understand the pricing structure before but just don’t get it. Maybe if someone could explain it to me in layman’s terms? 🙏🏼💛 Thanks in advance!!

Real and practical advice for single men - this works
I originally shared this as a reply to someone's post, then felt like a separate post would help more single guys interested in couples. I've been the male 3rd enough times to be able to share what actually works and is a step beyond the more generic advice of "be charming" or "be respectful". For all the single guys out there, good luck and here goes.
Mindset - you are part of their fantasy and there for her pleasure as a priority. You win when both he and she walk out thinking "Wow" without any yellow or red flags from you.
Here's my advice
  1. THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT OF ADVICE - Talk to and engage the M half of the couple. Let him know you know your place in the 3some (i.e. you're there to help them have fun together). It's also a great opportunity to ask him what their fantasy is, what she likes, what he would like to see, and more. Hopefully, they've both talked about this a bunch and he can tell you about that, including any limits. He might even share something special you can do that will blow her mind. By engaging him, with respect, you can find all the help you need in making this work out well for everyone. You don't have to become his best friend, but the more he is comfortable with you, the more they both can relax and enjoy the experience together.
  2. Realize you are part of THEIR fantasy and you will can be invited back if this works out well. So focus on making it work out well for them, being aware and responsive to their needs, what they are looking for. Single, attractive, respectful men are not as common as you might think. Finding one couple that you get on well with and getting invited back will open many doors for you, especially if they have friends or want to invite you to a party. So, focus on giving her pleasure and fun, even if you don't finish yourself. This is really important to remember - focus on her enjoyment.
  3. Sometimes a couple will have a specific fantasy and want you to play a role like being the Dom to her. If you find that out, read up on it, get an idea on what you can do in your own style to play that role. Some couples really enjoy when the woman gets to live out her fantasy with another man, whether she wants to be a sub, or a Dom herself, or even really simple almost vanilla things like, doing a strip tease or being playfully teased. You don't have to be perfect or an expert, but realize your role in this interaction is to help them have fun living out their fantasy.
  4. It should go without saying, but impeccable hygiene is a must. Be trimmed, clean, smelling good, fresh breath, and whatever else you need to do so that she doesn't get distracted. A nice light amount of cologne will work. My advice on cologne is to ask a female friend to pick one for you and then be very subtle with how much you use. Women's noses seem to pickup cologne more than you realize. If you don't have a friend or don't trust cologne being fresh and clean smelling from a shower is great too.
  5. If necessary, drink an energy drink or coffee so you are bursting with energy when you guys get to the bedroom. That new person energy and stamina goes a long way to having her feel good, appreciated, sexy, wanted etc. You might be tempted to drink alcohol before hand, even just to loosen up. My advice would be NOT to drink.
  6. Realize they might be nervous or not sure where to start. That's okay if you gently take the lead and help her relax. Gentle kissing, caressing and laying her down on the bed for you to go down on her is a good start. Don't worry too much though, once you get the ball rolling, just let nature take over. You're all there for the same reason, so just let things flow.
  7. If you are meeting at your place, have a pile of clean towels for them to use. Also of course clean up your place, clean sheets on the bed, etc. Make sure your bathroom and shower are sparkly clean and spray some air freshener around. If necessary, open the windows and air your whole place out just to make things fresher.
  8. Have bottled water and some sugary snacks. The water will keep everyone hydrated and people feel more comfortable when they drink from a water bottle they open themselves. Gatorade is great too. Sugar snacks will give you a short recharge on your energy (saw this on a porn set). Notwithstanding what I said above about skipping alcohol, having a bottle of wine or other alcohol works well as an icebreaker when the couple shows up. Still, one drink max for everyone is my recommendation for your best evening.
  9. Before meeting, send sexy chat notes to her (with him in the same chat) to help build excitement in her mind and between them. Keep things subtle, share how excited you are, be playful and easy about it. Too many texts, getting too heavy or too graphic can ruin the mood. And as a general rule, don't send a dick pic. Just don't. You might be tempted to show off, but she can enjoy it when you two are together in person.
  10. Check in with him, getting his permission in a friendly way, for anything you want to do that you haven't already talked about. You might find things unfolding naturally in new directions and he(and then her) will feel better when they see you check in with them. Remember, he's sharing his girl with you, the more he and then she trust you the better things will turn out.
  11. Always respect what she says. If she doesn't like something stop. If she wants more of something or asks for something you haven't already talked about, then check in with him to make sure it's okay. Interestingly enough, he may ask you to do something she doesn't want or like. You know how it is with guys, sometimes they can get carried away. If this happens, the best answer is to respect what she says, and suggest something else instead. She will be happier, trust you more for respecting her voice and overall, they will have a better time.
  12. When things are winding down, look for their cues that it's time for you to leave (if you are at their place) or for them to leave (if they are at your place). This is a good time to make sure they know where the towels are, that they can shower, offer them water, etc. You know, all the "how to be a good host stuff".
  13. As they are about to go, you can share with them how much you enjoyed the evening and checkin with them, to see if they enjoyed themselves. If they did, you usually don't have to ask. A nice sensual kiss and a hug for her works. Next, it's REALLY IMPORTANT that you thank him for sharing. If you stop and think for a moment, he just shared the most important person in his life with you in a very intimate and private way. You got a gift from him. Be respectful and say thank you with honesty and heartfelt integrity. This can help him and her see that you have character and understand your role.
  14. Make sure you know, respect and follow THEIR rules about communicating. In general, you can avoid problems by making sure you always communicate with BOTH of them. Sometimes, either she or he will text or call you separately. Just make sure that you ask, know and follow their rules about this. Also, if they do say it's okay for you to talk to each of them separately, it's best to keep the other person involved and aware when you do. This shows simple respect for each of them as individuals and their relationship. The same goes for meeting up with them as individuals. Know, respect and follow THEIR rules.
  15. Performance issues: if you need to, take a small dose of viagra or cialis to help get over anxiety issues. But don't over do it if you haven't taken it before. You don't want to get too much of a headache or other side effects. One side effect of these meds is that they can also make it harder for you to finish. But don't worry about that because you focusing on her this time is the big win for you.
EDIT: Cardio FTW - being in great cardio shape pays dividends all around. Beyond aesthetics for your potential partner, increased stamina means you get less tired during your play time and can choose when to stop vs having to stop because you are badly out of breath. It can also help with exhaustion based performance issues. Last point is that when you click with someone, it's nice to be able to keep going just for their pleasure.
  1. Last note - If things work out for you to meet and then you all have a good time, you can be the fuel for new passion and excitement for them and their relationship. In the least you can give them good memories. Maybe it can even develop into something long term.
  2. Additional note about follow-up: After you leave or they leave, a short polite text thanking them both for a great time is a nice thing to do. Keep it short, simple and don't worry about setting up your next play time, instead just thank them. This gives them feedback that you enjoyed them and opens the door for them to share back to you, as well as ask you later for another play date. Realize that they might not get back to your right away and that's okay. They may have moved family, work or other obligations to make space for this date, and then have to catch back up with all those things the next day. If they had a good time with you and want more, they'll reach out.
If anyone else has advice, pls feel free to add it. Everyone wins when you do.
EDIT/UPDATE: For all those that found this helpful. Great! For those who gave feedback on how this advice doesn't work for you, cool. I just shared to be helpful. For those who think I'm implying that the woman is a possession, that's not the point. I actually paused when writing the section about the guy sharing his girl, I thought someone will take this wrong. Maybe it's a guy respect thing, but it's certainly not to imply any sort of ownership. For the people who think this is icky, I'm just trying to help single guys. If it doesn't work for you, you can ignore it. :) Last thought: this isn't the only way for people to do things. I shared to be helpful. Nothing more. No agenda, no service, no sales pitch. Just giving back to the community.
Edit #2: Added the point about follow-up text. Edit #3: Added the point about cardio.

2024.05.21 13:05 Tom_Quixote_ Any Copper Spur Long owners? Does your tent measure to spec?

I just bought a Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 Long version, which is supposed to measure 96 inches inside.
Before buying the tent, I wrote an email to Big Agnes, asking if it was really 96 inches, or only 93 inches, as I read a review saying it is in fact only 93.
Big Agnes replied that yes, it is indeed 96 inches.
Ok, so I receive the tent and pitch it in my living room, just inner tent with poles, and I measure the long side of the inner tent. It measures only 93 inches. So three inches shorter than spec.
I then contacted Big Agnes again, and they say the tent will be stretched when I stake it out, which I of course can't do here in my living room. And I am worried I lose my right to return the tent if I bring it out in the field, since the tent will no longer be brand new.
TLDR: Does anyone here have a Copper Spur Long, and could someone please measure how long the inner tent is while pitched only with the pole system?
Does it really stretch when staked out? It seems like the fabric is already under max tension just from the poles, so I really doubt it can stretch more.
Thanks for any help.

2024.05.21 12:05 Captain_Apolloski What happens when you value increasing profit over retaining staff and work life balance...

So as a preface - coming from the upside down land of Aus, where all the wildlife wants to somehow harm us and we lost a war to emus, while I am sure all US-centric advice would be well meant, it won't help me.
I work in a security control room, where we monitor clients in basically all of Australia and New Zealand. We have a relatively small team of 14, which basically just barely covers the required staffing to operate 24/7. Enter manglement, who asked each of us individually to swap to 12s. We all refused of course, and were clear about why. Apparently we should have kowtowed to the beings the great gods of capitalism saw fit to put above us lowly peasants.
Manglement, in all its wisdom has decided that for "operational reasons" they must institute a new rotating roster. Which would be fine, if the new roster wasn't specifically aimed at three people in particular, myself being one.
The three people this will have an impact on all have relatives with some kind of disability, be it mental or physical, and as such we have had 8 hour shifts since we were hired. One for mornings, one for afternoons and one for nights - fully covering a 24hr period. We have worked out the rotation amongst ourselves, and until now there hasn't been an issue. They tried to sweeten the pot for me by tossing in a promise of promotion, but when I said I'd need that in writing funnily enough they decided not to pursue that.
They haven't realised yet, but this was the final straw for not just us, but the other 6 most senior people in the place. We're all actively looking for somewhere else, where we aren't expected to manage the workload of 3 controlrooms between a max of 3 people at a time. They fucked around and are definitely about to find out.

2024.05.21 11:45 Hefty-Drop6571 Does unemployment give you a chance to reenergize?

I've been unemployed for more than 2 months. I chose to leave the job in anticipation of an upcoming reorientation rather than being fired.
My previous job required me to ensure that I always used birth control, which can lengthen my time with my enterprise to at least 2 years. I had no plan to have the first baby then, so it was not a challenging choice. Furthermore, despite a suspicion that things might not work out, I decided to give it a shot in that new field after talking with the line manager about the scope of work, which was very different from what I had done before. Eventually, the final decision was made.
After 6 months of working, I started a series of rest days after submitting my resignation letter here. The primary cause was my disappointment since most of the tasks did not correspond with the job description provided during the interview.
Anyway, even though I had to give my decision a lot of thought—resigning from a job during a recession is a risky move—I am still happy with it. I am currently putting the required skills into practice and registering for a few professional knowledge-based courses. I want to be a better version of myself when I go back into the job market.

2024.05.21 11:19 yamallamaa How do I actually do well in university?

Hi guys, I'm confused about how to do well in my degree. For context, I do psychology with neuroscience BSc. I've never done psychology before as my school didn't offer it for A-level, but I did biology for A-level, enjoyed it a lot, and was successful, as well as for my other A-levels.
I was excited to do this degree, and I do enjoy the content. But the coursework and final exams just killed my enjoyment and self-confidence. I'm finishing my 2nd year right now and I'm so terrified of doing poorly, cause it contributes 30% to my degree, and also I just want to understand my course. I've tried different note-taking and revision methods, I've gone to drop-in sessions and sought external help, but my best grades are like a 65% max on an essay (which is not bad but when it's one of the only 2:1 grades you get per term............).
Anyway, I just really need help, especially with understanding how to 1) balance my lifestyle between working + taking care of myself, 2) understand how to critically evaluate, it's so confusing to me and my essays always have the same feedback with too much of a range in grades for me to know what I'm doing wrong and 3) know how to properly revise this content. I think I may have been so used to having a syllabus laid out for me like in A-levels that my brain just doesn't know what's important to know (we only get one sample paper for revision, not any past papers, and MAYBE an online MCQ self-assessment with answers (sometimes not even with answers!!)) Does anyone have any advice?
tldr; I suck at my degree and genuinely cannot find out what's wrong with me and how to improve.

2024.05.21 10:48 Acatalepsy-Rain Bobbing Theory

Bobbing Theory
Greetings Apes, new theory on the share offering. A little less sexy than the colorful speculation, but this theory ties in with a few of the current and past DD. (I’ll add a little tinfoil at the end).
For this theory I am going to exclude as much tinfoil as possible and also make the assumption that market makers and hedge funds are not engaging in crime but are instead (mostly) working within the rules they created to fuck the poors. While I do not agree with their rules, legal does not equate to ethical as was taught in my PhD program’s first semester ethics course, After all slavery was legal in the US.
“Bobbing” is a swimming technique that involves gently bouncing from the pool floor and practicing exhaling underwater and inhaling above the surface. In this case the dumb storm troopers (Shorts) are the ones in the pool.
There are 5 Assumptions that are made in this theory:
  1. Many hedge funds are short GME and need to maintain margin.
  2. The Hedge-funds are likely working together to maintain margin.
  3. Margin calls are not going out or at the very least are “flexible.”
  4. They still think they are going to win and have a thesis (this is important).
  5. RC had a plan to stop the bobbing cycle.
I think many of us are getting the perspective wrong and I think it would benefit us think a little differently. When we are seeing these price rises, it is not about them losing control. If it was, the price would look like a phone number. This is a controlled and planned raise. The price rises accomplish two things: First it attacks retail psychology and gets us to FOMO (fear of missing out) and then (for less hardened apes) breaks moral (they want this) and second It helps them support their cost basis (SCB). This is a two step process, let’s break this down.
Retail FOMO
This helps the shorts in a few ways but it is a double edged sword. When there is no liquidity it only takes a few shares to raise the price. This creates more volatility and options prices go up and the shorts happily write the contracts. When they drive the stock price back down to near max pain they get to keep the premium. They win. They also get to keep us gambling, remember it’s not the wins that hook the gambler it’s the almost. This FOMO raises the price as they funnel orders to their dark pools and they let the price raise controlled. They then meter out the buying pressure and complete the trade after they walk them down through short laddering. The only way this hurts them is if the shares are DRS'd. That is why the volume explodes.
Supporting Their Cost Basis
It is these two processes together that make up the Bobbing Theory and, I believe explain the Dorito of doom. Each time we touch the top of that line they are grabbing margin from FOMO psychology and supporting their cost basis by raising the average price of their opened shorts. They push up to the top of the pool and take a breath of that sweet retail margin. Then they drop back down through (illegal) high frequency short laddering (slowly exhaling their margin) until they hit the bottom. Then when they need to take another breath they push off the bottom get retail to FOMO and take another breath of that sweet sweet retail margin. They do all this in addition to pumping the market and the longs they hold.
The high frequency short laddering to lower the price is why we see so much off exchange and a huge increase in volume. They are trading between themselves to lower the price without actually burning through their short shares.
The 5 Assumptions
In order for the justification for the FOMO and SCB process to make sense we need a “why", thus the 5 assumptions.
The shorts need to have two things, first enough liquidity to maintain a semblance of margin, and second, a promise (reassurance) of profits (for them and the creditors).
In this theory the hedged funds are working together and are helping each other maintain margin, thus spreading the risk. Remember, we don’t need all of them to fail, we need one of them to fail. This will cause buying back shares at any price and this is something they all desperately want to avoid or they will all get liquidated. So what do they do, they “bob” for a breath of air. The thing is they all have to “bob” when one runs low on margin (air) so we don’t know which one was close to failing. They also go to pretty extreme measures when one of them is about to fail, They do this through loans (Melvin, New York Community Bank) or taking on failing banks (UBS, Silicon valley bank). They are also not being adequately margin called (Archegos, Fed Letter to Prime Brokers). Why would you not get appropriately margin called? Because, you can still justify your short thesis (in your mind) and you have a long standing relationship with the prime brokers. Remember GME still needs to turn a decent profit and show a plan for turning around. As of now, GME keeps this plan close to chest and is experimenting.
So... If these things are true, how does RC fight the shorts and how does the share offering apply?
I’m glad you asked. RC and apes have already set the bottom of the pool. If they lower it too far apes buy and DRS the shit out of the stock and burn up liquidity they are desperate for and use for their manipulation. GME also has $100M ready to buy back shares. Ok so they can’t lower it. But they can keep milking retail right....
Not anymore. Those 45m shares are a warning to the shorts that they will need to get their liquidity elsewhere. If they try to "bob" again RC is going to sell the shares and make GME even more valuable. GME does not need the money but RC has shown that he is protecting the shareholders. If they drop the price he will buy ($100m) if they try to fleece shareholders he will sell and be the one to reap the retail margin for the good of GME not the short sellers.
That filing around the 45m share issuance was not put together, filed and approved in the few days the stock ran last week. I think it was leaked to the shorts by someone at the SEC, and the short sellers gave retail one more fleecing before RC closed the door with that filing. If they come up for air agin, he will drown them. And he will do it through the issuance of Global Shares that cannot be shorted and must be booked so that we can see them accounted for in the DRS numbers (he knows what is important to the shareholders). RC knew this was controlled otherwise there would be no reason to fuck the option chain on the announcement timing. It was already fucked, we just didn't know it yet (I mean kinda, lots of us saw that coming).
Tinfoil
You may or may not agree with this. I look at things in real broad strokes.
The SEC (generally) is on our side. I think CAT is specifically for targeting the high frequency trading the hedge funds use to short ladder between themselves. This is one of the truly illegal things they are doing, but the shorts NEED this mechanism to control the price. Without this mechanism GME runs, naked shorts or not. This is one of the things that the hedge fund cabal uses to reassure the collateral holder that everything is going to be fine, if they control the price everything is under control, if they don't........
The DTCC is kinda on our side (now). They saw/see? the writing on the wall and have made Crypto and other pumped bullshit collateral worthless because they know it is fake. They also do not want to get fucked, and are willing to let some of the bad actors take the fall even though they are also complacent. They think they are far enough removed to not get scrutiny from the public because very few even know they exist.
Last speculation, one of the justifications used to stretch this out is that if they concentrate the diamond hardened holders of GME (less people more stocks) that on average people will sell for lower prices do to their overall portfolio being worth more.
Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it to the end. And as a final note: I encourage you to DRS (Book) your shares, if you don’t and you get fucked, my conscious is clear.
See you on the moon! I’ll get the first round.

2024.05.21 09:08 poopyscoopy24 Usual new fish addition death rate

Hello all. I’m a reasonably experienced reefer. I had an 80 gallon mixed reef tank going for 5 years with some major nutrient export issues (chronically high po4,no3) but all was more or less well. 3 months back I decided to go all in and bought a reefer max g2+ 625. Reused probably 50 percent of the water, doubled my rock and used all new live sand and a few bottles of bacteria. Let the tank “cycle” for a week and moved all my old frags and fish over. Never actually got any perceptible cycle. Got a small diatom bloom but that’s all. . 0 ammonia 0 no2 , 5 no3. All my existing coral was doing well so I dumped a pretty big chunk of change on a ton of new frags to fill out the new tank. Let the new setup “rest” for another few weeks and everything did and continues to do amazingly well. However I am having a puzzling situation with fish deaths. I’ve added probably 20 fish over the course of a month or so. Nothing crazy or expert level. I have lost like 7 fish now. They all seem well and then I’ll wake up in the morning or come home from work and find a body. Six line wrasse, flame angel, a cardinal, hippo tang, gramma, and a few others I’m forgetting (sorry, post night shift er doc and deliriously tired). But some of these are high dollar fish and I’m becoming really discouraged. Am I adding fish too fast?? Is a 25-30 percent death rate par for the course for some people??? I’ve had fish deaths within days of adding in the past but this seems ridiculously excessive. I’ve got plenty of other fish in there that are happy as can be with no signs of illness. Wtf gives???

Just did a full panel with my Hanna marine master so I know it’s not my parameters. Thanks for the help. I am sad I keep killing fish.

2024.05.21 08:53 asterminta Told to go home from work for being arrogant - Long Rant

I’m just trying to accept my fate after fumbling a good job opportunity :( . The job I’m currently working at gives me too little hours after employing too many(?) people, aka 4 hours a day max. They won’t accept anyone who isn’t working full time during the summer, but since I have a summer course, they won’t employ me much. I decided to do a job search & found the perfect one: located near me, more hours, more pay, better environment, & I’ve worked customer service before.
I got a call back(!) and was told to go have a small chat with the manager—let’s call her managerOne—at 3 PM on a Saturday. I accidentally slept over it and my four alarms; I guess I was too tired the night before. I immediately called her back and asked if I could still go there and she said yes, but she just interviewed another girl. Now I’m panicking because she might think I’m not punctual. I get there and I try to be as nice as possible (desperate for this job). She likes me and my attitude for being “smiley” and dissed the other girl for not knowing English and being too stern. Ngl I was happy hearing that. She said I need to do a 24 hour unpaid training to see if I’m actually fit for the job, which was unusual. Training usually pays less but not nothing. After the interview I thanked her for the time and clarified a few questions through text. She told me I would be assigned at least 24 hours within 2 full days of the week (yippie more hours)!
Today I made sure not to sleep over my training. Set hella alarms and slept hella early. I showered in the morning & did my makeup >< a girlie needs to be presentable. Made bold decision to put hair down after a century of tying it up. I went in at 12 afternoon and told them I was here for training. I was informed there was going to be another trainee with me. I was a little skeptical because training two people at once isn’t unheard of, but I doubted the place needed that many new hires. The new trainee was chill and very quiet. There were two full time girls working there. The one that trained us in the back room was very sweet, best posture, nice attitude and clearly a warming person. However, an hour in at 12:55, I was told to go home by the other girl. She told me that “I wouldn’t be a good fit for the job. Two managers were looking through the security cameras and thought I was chewing gum and being too arrogant with my attitude”. I asked her whether managerOne was the one who decided. She said yes and that even during my interview with her, I was chewing gum.
One thing about me is that I hate chewing gum & have never chewed gum for years. However, I do fidget with my tongue piercing. After I left the store I immediately called up managerOne and asked why she could kick me out if she liked me so much. I clarified to her it was my tongue piercing I was fidgeting with. She told me my attitude in posture made me look very careless about the job, giving a “whatever” attitude as if this job isn’t important to me. I told her I made it clear I truly wanted this job. I was asking a lot of questions to the trainer about how to do the job well.
During our training, I sat down with legs and arms crossed. I have a habit of crossing my legs for comfort (long torso and short legs make life hard). The girl training us told me 10 minutes into the training that crossing my arms might come off as arrogant to the customers. For the next 40 minutes I pulled my chair in and uncrossed everything. She told me that servers put their hair up, so I took out my rubber band and hair clip I packed just in case. ManagerOne told me that these two girls have been working for a long time and can tell whether one person would be fit for the job and didn’t want to waste my time since training is unpaid. I didn’t know I offended the sweet trainer that much. I’m usually reserved and almost never go out of my way in the job I have currently.
I asked managerOne if she could vouch for me. She said no because she trusts the two full-time workers more. The walk home was surreal in a negative way, like am I really going home right now? I enjoy doing restaurant work & I’ve done plenty before. ManagerOne told me there was a location open elsewhere. This location is an hour commute away and ends late nights at 1 AM sometimes. I would get home 2:30 AM after cleaning and maybe get there at 11:30 AM to open store again. I want more hours but not to the point of risking burnout.
Now I called up the other places I reached out to during my job search and most of them don’t need me. I regret getting a tongue piercing to fidget with and I regret putting my hair down and I regret not being a soulless person with no personality. Terribly sad about fumbling this job. Their food is mad good too & I feel like I’m banned from eating there. I might have messed up in a few places that might be minuscule but still contribute to me getting kicked out. I can think of not pushing my chair in when trainer was getting past me. I can think of saying it might be tedious to walk back and forth between the customers and chef if there was something to be clarified between the two (aka one dish takes 15 minutes to cook occasionally, so should I tell the customer first or ask the chef and come back to the waiting customer). I said that line in Mandarin so perhaps it might’ve not come off as good. I think they were going to kick one of us out regardless to fill in one space and keep their options open.
tldr: kicked out for being too arrogant one hour into training (chewing gum and crossing arms and legs) altho I don’t chew gum and changed posture immediately after being told
