hey everyone, recently got completely rejected from nus even from engineering despite getting high 70s (raw) and had put biomed eng as a safety net, only to be flat out rejected. perhaps its from not having done physics since sec2, but i did do h2 math for jc
im planning to appeal to nus for bme again, altho im worried i shouldn't since nus reccommends applicants to not try again for courses they had originally applied for but got rejected. however, i dont have any other interests besides the courses i had applied before
looking for advice from seniors who entered by appealing or perhaps any others who are facing the same situation as me now :(((

Blurb: Not the most faithful representation but a cheap way to see if you like the blade shape: I will say this guy has steel handles instead of titanium, it’s kind of on the heavy side. Might be useful to keep in your car or in your pocket on a bike ride in case you need to have something heavy to throw at a mean car or something. Paid 40 plus Tax on Aliexpress, so save yourself 20 bucks and a four week wait.

Solid Blade, good switch just can’t really carry OTF’s and most us Retailers aren’t too happy about mailing them to my geography, but Ali sellers don’t seem to mind, just wanted to try some out I suppose. Paid 40 plus Tax on Aliexpress, so save yourself 20 bucks and a four week wait.

Blurb: Really Cool blade shape, and the three switches are indeed one single molded piece like the original, but again with the steel handles. Although this guy isn’t as heavy as #1 it’s a bit heavier than you’d expect. Solid Blade, good Action, only thing was that this guy came coated in like the worst blue coating. It got scratchy if you looked at it funny. So I put some elbow grease into using a scotch-brite pad to take off that coating but left it in the grooves and in the switch track etc. I think it looks 1000% cooler this way but it has been rather heavily modified. Paid 40 plus Tax on Aliexpress, so save yourself 20 bucks and a four week wait.

Did I cut, carry or sharpen: This did live on a hinderer for a minute and was carried by me but as soon as I got my hands on the oil slick zirc scale it’s been in the case.
Disassembled? It’s a single solid piece of metal, so no, but it has been on a knife.
Snails Trails etc: Not that I can see. Oils from your hand can dull titanium anodization so you have to give it a bath with dawn or windex every once in a while.

These are going for about 55 plus tax on Ali, I’ll save you 25 bucks and the four week wait.

Blurb: If you’ve spent any time on the Chinese knives Sub you’ve heard of this guy. It was one of those knives that did a few minor tweaks to the original to come up with something perhaps slightly better, like including both front and rear flipper in addition to the hole, and including a longer backspacer. Someone had one tested and I think the verdict is generally that it is M390. Anyway, I have purchased four of these for the purposes of testing various surface mods like polishing and or burnishing and anodizing, and I just never got around to messing with this one, it’s still 100% stock. These are retailing on Ail for 113 but I’ll save you 20 bucks and the four week-wait.

Blurb: I threw out the cheap washers that came with the Aluminum Radiation pattern bugout and replaced them with real phosphor bronze washers from USA Knife Maker. The 0.5 cm ones, not the oem .33 cm ones. As a result, the action on this guy is just glassy. At least as good as my OEM bugouts. The narrows I’m throwing in at substantial discount. This is the OK knives version, so it’s not the one that totally sucks, probably titanium scales even (they weren’t magnetic). The real score here is that you’re getting a bugout that definitely has that smooth glossy action which can be hard to find on even an OEM bugout sometimes. Still saving you at least 25 bucks over what I paid for these and no-four-week-wait.

Is the Story of Adam and Eve literally true, parable, or pure myth?
According to The Book of Akash, the story of Adam and Eve is a Midrash (Jewish story for children meant to teach a moral lesson) based upon Pharaoh Ay (as Adam) and Queen Khiyah (as Eve), who lived in the walled Garden of Meru-Aten and were cast out of Meru-Aten by General Horemheb who wanted to become Pharaoh.The Book of Akash says:*Ay was a reincarnation of the the soul of the first Adam (Adapa of Eridu), who later reincarnated as Enoch, Adamu the second king of Assyria, Melchizedek king of Salem, and then as Ay son of Yuya.*Ay was the father of Nefertiti who married Amenhotep IV who changed his name to Akhenaten. Nefertiti had six daughters and one son: Tutenkhamun (Tut). Akhenative closed down the temples to Amun, putting the priests out of business, and built the City of Aten (Atentaten), and also a royal residence called the walled Garden of Meru-Aten, in what is now Amarna, Egypt. Meru-Aten had fruit trees of all kinds, and a sacred fig tree dedicated to Hathor goddess of fertility. It also had a petting zoo and evaporation pond.
*After Tut died, Ay was made Pharaoh, at the age of 70, but his wife died years before. Soon after being made Pharaoh Ay's only son, Nakhtmin, died. This left Ay without an heir to the throne.
*Ay knew that if he begot another son, that son had to have the blood of Amenhotep III (father of Akhenaten) in order to have the divine right to the throne. So he had Akhennaten poisoned, then Nefertiti, then Tut, and tried to marry Khiyah, but she rejected him and she tried to marry a Hittite prince but Horemheb had the HIttite prince assassinated as soon as he reached Canaan (then controlled by Egypt).
*Ay married Khiyah (Ankhesenpaaten later renamed Akhensenpaamun), so that his "claim" to the throne would be strengthened (her paternal grandfather was Amenhotep III and her maternal grandfather was Ay son of Yuya father of Nefertiti. Yes, Ay married his own granddaughter. Why? So that he could beget a son (Nakhtmin was dead) who had royal bloodline back to Amenhotep III, and thus had a "divine right" to the throne of Egypt.
*Akhensenpaaten/Akhensenpaamun (nicknamed "Khiyah") agreed to marry her grandfather because she was "tempted" by the Cobra Crown: symbolic of the Wisdom of the Gods. Only the King and Queen of Egypt wore the Cobra Crown. This is the meaning that Eve was "tempted" by the serpent. It was not real serpent, but a crown. It "tempted" Khiyah like diamond rings "tempt" women.
*Eve being made from the "rib" of Adam is a play on Hebrew words, since "penis" and "rib" is the same word in Hebrew: TSELA. Eve (Khiyah) was made from the TSELA (penis) of Adam (Ay): meaning she was made out of his seed (i.e. daughter or granddaughter).*The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil does not refer to a literal tree, but to "carnal knowledge" (sex) which can be both for good and for evil.
*The Tree of Life is not a literal tree, but a symbol of the placenta. Every placenta has large veins that resemble a "tree" on it. YWHW "took away the tree of life" and prevented Adam and Eve from partaking of it: the meaning is that YWHW prevented them from conceiving a son (because what they were doing was a sin unto death).

*Eve being made from the "rib" of Adam is a play on Hebrew words, since "penis" and "rib" is the same word in Hebrew: TSELA. Eve (Khiyah) was made from the TSELA (penis) of Adam (Ay): meaning she was made out of his seed (i.e. daughter or granddaughter).*The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil does not refer to a literal tree, but to "carnal knowledge" (sex) which can be both for good and for evil.

Good evening everyone. I often receive medication through my mail order specialty pharmacy from my insurance. it has to be shipped overnight, as it's a temp controlled biologic DMARD. Tonight I was notified that they created a label, and then nothing afterwards. I assumed it was just still on the shelf at the shipper, but at 130am a scan put it in Louisville, the main hub.
Typically, they create a label and at the same instant, UPS has the package (the same minute). It's always given to UPS oddly late in the day as well (like 7pm) and yet it always arrives next day, perfectly on schedule. Louisville is usually the 3rd stop.
As an aside, I have zero complaints. The world would be paralyzed without the work you do. I can't believe you can pick up a package at 7pm and have it on my doorstep at 1pm 2500 miles away, and it's never been late.
My question is, is it normal for something to get all the way to Louisville without an origin scan? Could it be a label issue or just the fact that it's Monday and they're rushed? Question is just for my curiosity. There is no problem.

My wife is a terrible driver but she refuses to acknowledge this. She has been in multiple accidents and even had her license suspended. Not for a DUI or anything. Just because she is a shitty driver. She will do stuff like reach into the back seat to deal with a kid rather than either pull over or let me or one of the older kids deal with it.
She got t-boned in August last year because she took her foot off the brake at a red light to pick up my son's soother that had fallen out. She didn't put the car in park. Thankfully only she was injured. All four kids were in the car.
I have had it. I told her that she is welcome to endanger herself and her kids. But that if I am in the car or if our children are in the car she will keep her eyes on the road and her hands on the steering wheel.
She is finally at the point in her rehab where she can drive again. I reminded her of what I said. I told her that I loved her. I said that her older kids were important to me and that I loved them too. But I told her that if she ever decided to do stupid shit while driving our relationship would be over and I would make it part of our divorce that she NOT be allowed to drive with my kids in the car.
She started crying and said she didn't do it on purpose. I asked her how exactly she took her hands off the wheel, took off her seatbelt, took her foot off the brake, and turned around to pick up the soother by accident. She said that I'm treating her like an idiot. I don't think I am. My children have to be safe.
Before you ask I try and do as much of the driving as I possibly can. I have stopped drinking when we go out. I traded in my car that I loved for an SUV so there is room for all of us. I offered to pay for Uber so she didn't have to drive if I wasn't available. She actually likes driving.
Her ex and her parents are on my side. He also told her that if she ever thinks about endangering his kids and he would either go for full custody or ask that she be barred from driving with his kids in the car. Her parents have threatened to stop helping her pay her stupid high insurance premiums.
She thinks we are being unfair because she loves her kids and would never intentionally harm them. She just loses concentration when one of the kids needs something and doesn't think to ask for help.

My wife was involved in a single vehicle accident. She was seriously injured but thank goodness no one else was in the car with her.
I have spoke to her about her driving habits and I warned her. I went to see her in the hospital and then I went to a lawyer. I am also going for full custody with only supervised visitation for her.
I am sick to death of her driving habits and I will not wait for her to injure or kill one of our kids with her bullshit.
I feel bad for doing this while she is in the hospital and facing charges. But I can't take any more chances on her.

Her whole excuse of “I didn’t do it on purpose” she can say at the eulogy of your dead kid. Why are you guys giving her more chances? I contacted her ex husband to deal with her regarding their kids from the hospital on the day of the accident. I made sure his kids as well as mine were okay and I told him that I was basically forbidding her from driving my kids around but obviously I could not do that for his. He was at the hospital within half an hour. He agreed with me.

Can you tell us more about her driving habits? Her age? Her health? Is she driving drunk? Is it something that can be worked on/is she willing to change? 100000% the kids safety comes first PERIOD. But are you ready to end a marriage without exhausting all possible options? Or maybe you have and those details aren't in your post? Forgive all my questions haha, just truly curious as to more details on the situation.OOP
Regardless, I would document all the instances/dates of her reckless driving to have that info ready and keep the kids from riding with her at all costs.
Do other people in her life see this issue? Have other people tried to talk to her about it?? Ok that's all my questions for now. 😂
~She has been in several serious accidents from getting distracted while driving. She was still doing rehab from her last accident when this one happened.

I (25F) had been with my best friend Jessica (24F) for over 5 years, we met while we were both working at McDonald’s when we were both 18, started the same day and became best friends ever since.
Even though our lives turned out quite differently, as I ended up finishing my degree and became an account, and Jess became a janitor at the university, I still loved her very very much and we maintained to be our original self as when we were 18.
All this until a year and a half ago, while she’s working at the university, she met this fella “Funnel” who’s 69 years old two years ago and starting to see him romantically. At first I wasn’t a fan of the relationship, as there’s such an age difference. But Jess moved in with him and I started to accept their “relationship” and got to know this Funnel guy….
Funnel has two daughters in their late 40’s and a son in his early 30’s, has grandkids in their late teens and early 20’s. Overall, this guy makes me so uncomfortable as he is quite creepy(?) but hey as long as Jess is happy, I’m happy.
About half a year ago, I recognize that Jess’s body changed and asked if had her period, she answered no, so we went and got some pregnancy test. Of course, it came back all positive (all three of them). She stated that she hasn’t had her period for over two months.
When we found out, I offered anything I could possibly think of, driving her as she does not have a car or license, offered her financial assistance as I make significantly more then she does and shelter as I own my house and has spare rooms, as she never paid rent in her life (she lived with her mother before she moved in with the old fella). I basically told her that whatever she needs I will be there, but first thing first we need to go see a OBGYN.
She said yes and I drove her home, two days later I asked if she want to book an appointment and when should I take some time off work to take her to these appointments. She basically told me she had her period and she doesn’t think she is pregnant. I stated ok we still need to go see a doctor and get you check since it may be a miscarriage, she then basically ghosted me.
I tried reaching out multiple times and got 0 answers or reply, her mother even reached out to me to see if I have been in contact with her as she had not been in contact with her for awhile, which is super unusual for her as we are constantly in contact. I was super worried about her well being as the old fella might be controlling and telling her that she can’t share her pregnancy with anyone, as we live in a small town.
After three weeks of trying to contacting her, I gave up and told her that if she doesn’t want my help or want me in her life anymore I will be happy to cut contact with her. No reply. So I blocked her number, her social media. Now half a year later, I found out she is very pregnant, still living with the old fella that’s probably gonna die sooner than later due to him being an alcoholic and have history of cancer, leaving her with nothing as he does not own anything and lives paycheck to paycheck.
AITAH to just leave her knowing that her and the baby will struggle?

Cutting off people doesn't make you teh asshole, but it sounds like you suspecting something was wrong but made nearly no effort to check on her them very carelessly threw her away.
Like not going over there with maybe her mother as well and physically seeing her, demanding to talk with her and find out if everything is okay, for me, makes YTA.

Here’s the update.
Jess(24) had the baby, and after 10 months of no contact, she reached out.
We went for coffee, and she updated me what happened in those 10 months, and admitted she cut me off on purpose, as she is jealous of my accomplishments. The 70 year old baby daddy is now 71 and he asked not to be on the birth certificate and he’s not, he hid the baby from his family (3 adult kids in their 40s). He was not there during the delivery and didn’t even bother going to the hospital.
She got kicked out of his apartment and living with her abusive mother, where she desperately wanna move out. The reason why she reached out is due to she ran out of money due to her shopping addiction and she now needs support. She asked if she could stay at one of my rental properties for free or if she can borrow some money from me.
It was a pretty easy decision for me, as I told her straight up that I’m not a ATM machine and if she would’ve kept me as a friend 10 months ago I would’ve consider to help her. However, I am still willing to be friends and work on our friendship. She was pretty upset about it and said that since I am so well off I should help her. I told her no again and said we will revisit this conversation again if we maintain friends.
Well, since that conversation I invited her to have lunch and coffee a few times. And stop paying for things and driving her around like I did before.
She pretty much stopped communicating with me immediately.
I guess my question is AITAH to put her out on the streets?

OOP: She’s 24, his family probably does not know about the pregnancy as he introduced her to them as his “roommate”. I texted and call 10x if not 20x times with no responses, even with ultimatums that if she doesn’t get back to me I will have to cut contact due to my own mental health.OOP on suspecting the baby daddy trying to control her friend and why she decided to cut off
OOP: I guess I am prioritizing my own mental health at the time as I offered and got cut off by her, at this point I am waiting for the baby to be born and she would definitely need financial assistance. She contacted low income housing, they stated there’s a 5 year wait. Then she contacted social assistance they told her she does not qualify as her income including CBB is above threshold.
During this, I found a bunch of cheap rental property for her (around $900/mo for 2 bed 1 bath downtown area, which is unheard of), she did not even bother contacting the landlord!

Raedriann: Of course, getting out of child support 100% free and clear is as easy as not signing the birth certificate. That's why paternity cases don't exist, and you've never heard of women finding out which boyfriend gathered their child and getting support.
Seriously, how is this a question? Yes, she made it harder for herself, but she can go to court and demand he take a paternity test. If he refuses, the court will presume he's the father and order support based on his earning capability.
OOP: She had a job as a janitor, but now on EI (employment Insurance) due to maternity leave.
Guilty-Web7334: Oh, I take it you’re in Canada? At his age, he’d be receiving Canadian pension. Are there survivorship benefits with Canadian Pension plan like there is with US social security?
As an aside, though, if she’s low income with no father on record, her Child Tax Benefit will be minimum $600-700/month. So she should be somewhat okay between EI, CTB, and the Baby Bonus. Not rolling in it, but if her mother isn’t making her pay rent/utilities, she should be okay. She just has to not be an idiot.

He has pension, old age pension, Canadian pension plan AND income from working.
She has Child Benefits which is $660 per month. EI which is $800 something bi-weekly (or weekly). But she has shopping addiction, each time we go out she spends $200 on random stuff like new clothes or jewelries. No child support from baby daddy so far tho.

This is something Kendrick directly attacks Drake for in his diss tracks. "And celebrity do not mean integrity, you fool." Kendrick is saying that celebrity does not equal integrity. He also uses this same angle in his diss tracks later on. "Stop playin' with me 'fore I turn you to a song (Yeah) Stop playin' with me 'fore I turn you to a song (Ooh)." This is pretty obvious. Kendrick is telling Drake to stop playing with him before he turns him into a song (diss track) like he did with "Not Like Us." Here’s where I think it gets even more obvious: "Ayy, clout chasing hell of a disease, brother I'm fasting four days out the week, brother I pray to God that you realize the entourage is dead I pray to God that you not lackin' when you off the meds I pray to God she knows them Cabo trips don't last forever Bet she argues with her momma, go and get them kids." Everything Kendrick says here is exactly what he says to Drake in his diss tracks. He mentions meds, his entourage is against him, calls him out for his trips to islands, and calls him a clout chaser. This is clearly referencing Drake. These lines directly reference J Prince, like he does in "Euphoria": "I pray to God you actually pray when somebody dies Thoughts and prayers, way better off timelines False claimin' not cute, I'm mortified The new Earth in hot pursuit, two-hundred lives." He says the exact same thing to J Prince in "Euphoria." He also says: “I would never live my life on the computer IG'll get you life for a chikabooya More power to ya, love 'em from a distance Why you always in the mirror more than the bitches?” Drake is known for his antics online and Instagram captions/Internet culture. This one’s also pretty obvious. It was to showcase to Kendrick that he can make music that Kendrick couldn’t. The entire album is club-inspired music except for the last track “Sticky” with 21 Savage. On this track, Drake states: "Couple hits, now you brave, boy You n**** better behave (What) All that pumpin' up your chest (What) All that talk about the best (What) You know how sticky it gets." He’s telling Kendrick to behave and stop talking about how he’s the best like he did on "Family Ties." Now what’s very interesting is that Kendrick & Baby Keem directly respond to this track on "The Hillbillies." I don’t think people realize that "The Hillbillies" is a direct response to this. But before The Hillbillies was the "America Has a Problem" remix with Beyoncé. This entire verse is clearly a Drake diss. He states that this person's career didn’t come with life insurance and hopes his day-one fans have some facts on him. He’s clearly referring to Drake here. "Them diamonds don't be fly, they all CGI You better get it off your chest like breast reduction If she stressed over you, she stressed for nothin'." In these lines, he calls Drake's diamonds fake and states that Drake should get it off his chest like breast reduction. He’s mocking his surgery yet again. Then the “if she stressed over you, she stressed for nothing” is a subliminal towards Drake’s latest album before this track, "Her Loss," stating that it’s not her loss since if she’s stressed over Drake, she isn’t stressed for anything. Next, he says: "Even AI gotta practice clonin' Kendrick The double entendre, the encore remnants I bop like ten men, the opps need ten men." During the time when this track came out, there was AI Drake music blowing up. Kendrick is saying that even AI needs to practice to clone him, using a double entendre to imply he’s unmatched. He is saying the opps “need ten men” aka the ghostwriters, he is calling Drake easily replaceable. Now onto The Hillbillies. The entire track is completely different from the music that Kendrick normally makes. It’s a track where he’s flexing, and it’s over a club-inspired beat and flow. Baby Keem even called it a “Sticky” remix. So this track is basically Kendrick saying that he can do what Drake did on "Honestly, Nevermind," but better. First, let’s look at the title of the track. It is called “The Hillbillies.” On "Sticky," Drake says that he’s: "King of the hill, you know it's a steep one." Drake calls himself the king of the hill, Kendrick & Keem call themselves the Hillbillies, you get it. Now let’s look at some lines in the track: "Messi, get them girls off the stage, 'cause somebody's gonna get taken Somebody's gonna invade on a one-on-one conversation I'm ducked off from the world, I'm immersed in the PlayStation." This is a direct response to "Sticky" when Drake says: "Ayo Eric, bring them girls to the stage 'Cause somebody's getting paid." Throughout this entire track, Kendrick and Keem are mocking Drake and his flow on "Sticky," showcasing they can do anything he can do and better. They’re rapping about the things he’ll rap about. Also what I find interesting about the music video is that they have Tyler in it and announce that they will be headlining Camp Flog Gnaw in the video, where Drake famously got booed off stage. Could be a reach but still. In July a month after this track, Drake on stage during his tour said “he is not like those rappers who disappear for 4 or 5 years”. So another subliminal towards Kendrick. While this verse is mainly about Kanye/Pusha, I also think it can relate to Kendrick as well. "I love to fuck on a regular bitch Famous hoes lame, but they stay on my dick Heard your new joint, it's embarrassing, shit." On "Hillbillies," Kendrick/Keem rap about wanting a regular girl instead of a famous girl, and on "Meltdown," Drake says the same thing, also calling their new stuff embarrassing. "Your bodyguard put in some work on a fluke Now you wanna go and inherit that shit Don't talk to the boy 'bout comparisons, shit Or come to the boy on some arrogant shit." More bodyguards talk, and he’s telling people not to compare him to anybody. We all know who he really means. “I melt down the chains that I bought from yo' boss Give a fuck about all of that heritage shit.” Kendrick directly responds to this, saying he inherited the beef from Pharrell since Drake was disrespecting him. Now here’s where I think it gets obvious. On the second verse, Travis says: "The boy going Lionel Messi, I go Tom Brady (Woo)." In the track "The Hillbillies," Keem is calling Kendrick Messi and himself Neymar. Now in this track, which comes out two months later, Drake is comparing himself to Messi. Also he says in this song "You act like you love this American shit, but really the truth is you scared of the 6" which could be a response to the title "America Has a Problem", this might be a reach though. I have a theory about this track, though. I believe that Drake originally sent Kendrick the track to hop on, but Kendrick denied the feature request. I think the original "First Person Shooter" was going to feature Drake, Cole, and Kendrick rapping over the first beat of the song. I believe the beat switch was made after Kendrick denied the feature request, and Drake added it later. This is why Kendrick says on his diss tracks: "Surprised you sent that feature request, you know we got some shit to address" and "Did Cole foul, I don’t know why you still pretending." Drake wanted to squash the subliminal beef he had with Kendrick with the feature request, and when Kendrick denied it, he thought it was real beef. Look at the second half of "FPS": "My youngins richer than you rappers and they all stream I really hate that you been sellin' them some false dreams Man, if your pub was up for sale, I buy the whole thing Will they ever give me flowers? Well, of course not They don't wanna have that talk, 'cause it's a sore spot They know The Boy, the one they gotta boycott I told Jimmy Jam I use a GRAMMY as a door stop." Drake gets way more aggressive in the second half of the track and states that Kendrick is selling people false dreams, he is broke, they won't give him his flowers, he is at the top, and that he doesn't care about GRAMMYs (which is what Drake mocks Kendrick for in "Family Matters"). Then he says: "What the fuck, bro? I'm one away from Michael N***, beat it, n****, beat it, what?" He compares himself to Michael Jackson and even says he will beat his record, which Kendrick directly responds to in "Like That." At the end of the track, Drake says: "Don't even pay me back on none of them favors, I don't need it." We know that Drake feels like he put on Kendrick and that Kendrick would be nowhere without him, so he rubs that in his face. This verse is where I think Kendrick really took it as a threat rather than just the big three line. That was a part of it, but I think this is what really set Kendrick off. Also interestingly in this video Drake recreates the Messi/Ronaldo picture with J. Cole and compares himself to Messi AGAIN. Another thing, in the second verse Drake says: “I click the trigger on the stick like a high beam” So in Like That when Kendrick says “if he walk around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3k” it could be reffering to this line as well since that track is a direct response to this song. At first most people thought the stick line was about Cole but we know Kendrick calls out Drake for acting tough later on, so it could be a response to this line as well. I had a regular eye check up and they referred me to a retinal specialist since the doctor saw a teahole in my retina. We only have one clinic here in our state that have a retinal specialist. I have called my insurance if they can make it IN-NETWORK since I don’t have a choice since that is the only clinic I can go to. They said it’s approved as “IN-NETWORK LEVEL” of benefit. I went and found out I needed laser to close multiple holes as it’s already causing detachment. After a week they did the laser to close up the holes.
Now I have received the bill and they are billing me $5000 for the laser. Original price is $5,700. Insurance is only paying around $700. I was shocked since I thought this will be IN-NETWORK and I only have to pay the 20% since I already reached my deductible.
I called my insurance and they let me know that they did process it as “IN-NETWORK LEVEL” however, it exceeded the maximum plan allowance and that’s the only amount they can cover since the provider was out of network. What’s worst is that the amount the clinic is billing me won’t go to my out of pocket.
I didn’t really have a choice but to go that clinic since there’s no providers that are IN-NETWORK here. I was 7 months pregnant the time of the procedure and I definitely would not travel out of state just to go to a IN-NETWORK provider.
I do plan to make a claim but I was wondering if anyone has a similar situation and If there is a chance that insurance will pay for it.

This has only been carried once or twice and was used to open a few envelopes at the office. It has it’s original (very sharp) edge and the only cosmetic blemish I can find is a faint snail on the pivot screw. Excellent action, perfect centering and solid lockup in all directions. This currently has Skiff bearings installed and will ship with the original bearings as well as an extra set of natural micarta scales. Ships with COA, Vero taco and patch, and all other items as new.

It does have a line going across the scale through the show side pivot area that was present on the knife when received (you can see this in the photos). The knife has its original edge, solid lockup in all directions and the blade is perfectly centered. There is no lock stick and the action on the knife is incredibly smooth. Great flipping action. Happy to answer any questions you may have on this, as I haven’t seen a ton of these on the swap. This ships with all original packaging and COA.

Picked this up not too long ago from REC to check out the Gen 2. This has been carried once, and only used to open a few envelopes. The knife has been disassembled for cleaning and has no cosmetic blemishes aside from a faint snail on the pivot screw that you can only see if you’re looking for it. It has the original edge, and as expected from McNees, the lockup is solid, and the blade is perfectly centered. The detent is perfectly tuned, and this had amazing action out of the box. Ships with COA and all original packaging. Sad to see this one go but need to free up some funds.

Picked this up not too long ago from REC to check out the Gen 2. This has been carried once, and only used to open a few envelopes. The knife has been disassembled for cleaning and has no cosmetic blemishes aside from a faint snail on the pivot screw that you can only see if you’re looking for it. It has the original edge, and as expected from McNees, the lockup is solid, and the blade is perfectly centered. The detent is perfectly tuned, and this had amazing action out of the box. Ships with COA and all original packaging. Sad to see this one go but need to free up some funds.
