2024.05.21 16:44 tabascopro Sales rep for Callaway Pre-Owned back again!

First off I want to thank this community for all the love! Since my original post a year and a half ago its been nothing but a positive experience for me.
I am posting again to let people know I am still here and more than happy to help redditors with their golf club needs. I don’t want to bombard the golf community with posts but I get messaged asking if I am still around a lot. So I figure sending out a reminder that I am still here is worth doing every so often.
All of the same things still apply with regards to how I can help out if you are interested in ordering from callawaygolfpreowned.com. Here is what I can do:
· If you are buying like new condition I can check our inventory and choose the best condition club. Some of our like new condition clubs are in pristine condition. Some have very minor wear. I can check and grab you the best we have.
· I can check to make sure you are getting the best possible price on your order.
· Depending on the size of your order a lot of times I can offer free shipping or discount the cost of faster shipping.
· I am always more than happy to discuss what equipment might work best for you. I learned the game from my Father who played on the PGA Tour. 2024.05.21 16:44 lawrencedun2002 Comcast Reveals Pricing for Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+ Bundle

Comcast Reveals Pricing for Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+ Bundle
Comcast, as its legacy cable TV business continues to shrink, has built a new cable-style bundle for the streaming era.
Beginning next week, the cable giant will offer StreamSaver, a package that includes NBCUniversal’s Peacock Premium (with ads), Netflix Basic (with ads) and Apple TV+ for a discounted price, available to TV and broadband customers in its footprint.
As an add-on to Comcast TV or broadband, the StreamSaver bundle will cost $15 per month — a discount of at least 35% compared with price of the services purchased separately. In addition, Comcast will offer Netflix and Apple TV+ to its Now TV streaming-only service, which has Peacock and 40 free, ad-supported streaming TV channels, for $30 per month (versus $20/month without them).
Dave Watson, president and CEO of Comcast Cable, announced the details Tuesday at J.P. Morgan’s 2024 Global Technology, Media and Communications Conference.
“These are three premium streaming services that are combined in one compelling package,” Watson said, noting that StreamSaver is focused on boosting Comcast’s broadband business. “It’s a home run for consumers… We’re thrilled to have Netflix and Apple as partners.”
On a standalone basis, the trio of services would cost $23-$25 per month: The ad-supported Peacock Premium is $5.99/month, going up to $7.99/month in July; Netflix Basic with ads costs $6.99/month; and the standard Apple TV+ plan at $9.99/month.
Watson said the priority for Comcast Cable is “investing in the network for the long haul,” in the anticipation that there will be “more streaming, more consumption” over time.
Comcast chief Brian Roberts first announced plans for StreamSaver one week ago at another investor conference. “We’ve been bundling video successfully and creatively for 60 years, and so this is the latest iteration of that,” Roberts said. “I think this will be a pretty compelling package.”
Bundles aggregating streaming services from would-be competitors have gained new popularity among traditional media companies, which view them as a way to cut customer-acquisition costs and reduce churn (i.e., cancelation rates).
Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced a triple-play bundle comprising Max, Disney+ and Hulu, to be available starting this summer in the U.S. (with pricing yet to be announced). In addition, Venu Sports — a joint venture of Disney, WBD and Fox Corp. — anticipates launching a sports-centered live-streaming bundle in the fall of 2024, pending regulatory approval. There’s no word on pricing for Venu at this point.
Meanwhile, Disney offers discounted bundles with Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ and has pushed to integrate them even more tightly together. Disney+ recently added a tile for Hulu (for customers with both services) and is using the tie-in to promote the bundle. In December, Disney+ will add a hub for ESPN+, providing some free games and programming to those who don’t subscribe to the sports package in a bid to upsell them.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 21, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brixton Metals Corporation (TSX-V: BBB, OTCQB: BBBXF) (the “ Company ” or “ Brixton ”) is pleased to announce that its Thorn exploration camp is now open for the season and drilling has commenced. Brixton is fully funded for the 2024 exploration program with plans to drill test several new copper porphyry targets, including the Trifecta, Cirque, and North Copper Targets, in addition to further drilling at the Camp Creek Porphyry Target. The Thorn Project is situated within the traditional territory of the Tahltan and Taku River Tlingit First Nations.
2024 Thorn Exploration Plan Highlights:
  • The 2024 exploration plan consists of 12,000-17,000 meters of drilling across several target areas, collecting 2500 rock and soil samples, as well as a ~90 sq km ground MT Geophysics survey.
  • Drilling has begun at the Camp Creek Copper Porphyry Target to test for a high-grade copper core to the Camp Creek porphyry. This first hole THN24-286 is being drilled from the same pad as the 2023 hole, THN23-277, where copper abundance as chalcopyrite and quartz vein density are increasing downhole. The bottom 84 meters of hole 277 (957-1041m) returned 0.25% Copper, 0.09 g/t Gold, 3.78 g/t Silver and 142 g/t molybdenum, including 2m of 0.66% copper, 0.24 g/t gold, 12.0 g/t silver from 1032.88m. Hole 277 did not reach its target depth due to poor ground conditions.
  • The second Camp Creek hole is planned as a northwest step out from holes 184 and 201. Hole 184 ended at 1198m in strong copper mineralization with the bottom of the hole returning 318m of 0.42% copper, 0.17 g/t gold, 3.87 g/t silver, and 294 g/t molybdenum, and hole 201 intersected 150m of 0.60% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 5.12 g/t silver and 391 g/t molybdenum. The objective is to test for a high-grade copper core to the Camp Creek porphyry.
  • The Trifecta Copper Target is located 1.5km southeast of Camp Creek and may be drill tested based on recent surface copper-in-rock and soil results and historical drilling, which returned encouraging copper-molybdenum results. The objective of this work is to search for a new porphyry copper center.
  • The Cirque Copper-Molybdenum Target is located 3km east of Camp Creek where drilling will test for a potential new porphyry center.
  • The North Copper Target area is located 15km northwest of Camp Creek, centered on a large surface copper anomaly. Drilling is planned upon completion of the MT survey and additional mapping and sampling with the objective of confirming a new copper porphyry center.
Watch Chairman and CEO, Gary Thompson, provide a summary of the 2024 drill program.
Chairman and CEO Gary R. Thompson stated: “ The Brixton team is excited to kick off the 2024 season. The Company has $12.5 million budgeted for the Thorn Project in exploration expenditures with the focus on new copper-gold porphyry mineralization. The scale of surface copper-gold mineralization is remarkable and Brixton is well positioned to generate new discoveries.”

About Camp Creek Porphyry Target
The original discovery of the Camp Creek Corridor was made by Cominco geologists in 1952 who identified the intense acid sulphate alteration in the area. However, it was not until 2019 when chalcopyrite-molybdenum veined clasts were observed below 400m depth within drill hole 150 on the Oban diatreme breccia which cut 554.70m of 0.57 g/t Au, 0.24% Cu, 43.18 g/t Ag, 0.55% Zn, and 0.28% Pb from 97.00m depth, providing evidence for a porphyry at depth. In addition, A-type porphyry veins were identified from relogging hole 121. Drill hole THN13-121 at the Glenfiddich Zone (located one kilometer west from hole 150) cut 2.21m of 10.62% copper, 583.05 g/t silver, and 2.55 g/t gold from a massive enargite-tetrahedrite-pyrite vein. The copper porphyry at Camp Creek was a blind discovery confirmed in 2021 when holes 183 and 184 were drilled below 1000m. The Camp Creek porphyry-style mineralization generally starts 300-400 meters below the surface level and remains open in all directions including at depth. Hole THN23-261 ended in mineralization at 1650m depth.

Figure 3. Hole THN23-277 photograph of mineralized core at 1032.88m depth from a 2.00m Interval that assayed 0.66% Cu, 112 ppm Mo, 12.0 g/t Ag, 0.24 g/t Au.

About the Trifecta Target
The Trifecta Target lies between the Camp Creek porphyry target, the Outlaw Sediment-hosted Gold Target, and the Chivas Porphyry Target. Surface mineralization is expressed as structurally controlled narrow quartz veining with pyrite and chalcopyrite. A massive magnetite-pyrite-chalcopyrite vein in outcrop with a sericitic halo surrounded by strong silicification was found during the 2023 field program that returned 2.46% Cu, 71.4 g/t Ag, and 0.36 g/t Au. The mineralization style at the Trifecta Target is thought to be related to a copper porphyry at depth.
About the Cirque Target
The Cirque Target area, located 3km northeast from the main Camp Creek drilling, was revisited in 2023, which identified a 1km by 2km northwest trending area of pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization. Historic drilling in the Cirque area by Julian Mining in 1965 intercepted sporadic copper mineralization throughout thirteen holes. The best hole from the 1965 program returned 0.19% Cu and 710 ppm Mo over 10.67m. Quartz-chalcopyrite veins were sampled in the area to the northwest of this historic drilling returned 1.6% copper. Mineralization is hosted primarily in Windy-Table volcanics and associated intrusions. Silica-sericite-pyrite alteration throughout the target area and the widespread pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization in conjunction with favorable magnetic signatures and anomalous porphyry-index indicators suggest that a potential Cu-Mo porphyry system at Cirque remains untested.
About the North Copper Target Area
In the northwest corner of the Thorn Project, the Copper Target comprises a 15km by 5km area located 15km northwest of Camp Creek. Mineralization consists of broad, pervasive zones of disseminated and vein-hosted pyrite with localized areas of chalcopyrite and molybdenite that may represent the periphery of a porphyry system, as well as higher-grade narrow polymetallic vein zones and skarn-style mineralization that are more representative of distal environments.
Widespread mineralization at the main gossan consists of a large area with abundant pyrite, locally up to 15%, and smaller areas of increased chalcopyrite, molybdenite, and magnetite coincident with a quartz-biotite-feldspar porphyry of undetermined age. Copper-molybdenite mineralization is found in quartz veins and as fracture-fill with samples in 2023 returning up to 0.7% Cu and 2,290 ppm Mo. The north gossan is comprised of extensive pyrite with lesser chalcopyrite and distal galena with up to 5% pyrite and trace molybdenite in a hornblende granodiorite directly east of the area. Mineralization at the south gossan is predominantly associated with trace pyrite, chalcopyrite, and magnetite mineralization within a potassium feldspar megacrystic porphyry.
Higher-grade polymetallic mineralization is generally concentrated along the margins of Late Cretaceous dykes with silicified vein breccias extending 5-10 meters into the surrounding Laberge Group country rocks. The breccias are composed of sandstone and conglomerate of the Jurassic Laberge Group with quartz-pyrite-galena-sphalerite and trace sulfosalt and chalcopyrite filling the matrix.
A ground magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical survey of approximately 90 square kilometer in area is planned prior to drilling the King Copper Target.
2024 Gold Targets
While the dominant focus for 2024 at the Thorn Project is to drill test copper porphyry targets for new discovery, the Company continues to review gold targets for drill testing in 2024. These may include selective drilling at the Trapper Epithermal Gold Target (best intercept to date: 64m of 5.7 g/t Au), the Outlaw Sediment-hosted Gold Target (best intercept to date: THN-14-128 returned 59.65 meters of 1.15 g/t Au and 5.64 g/t Ag from a depth of 76 meters) and/or the Metla Target where surface rock grab samples to date returned up to 62.7 g/t Au.
MDRU Collaboration
Brixton Metals is collaborating with the University of British Columbia’s Mineral Deposit Research Unit as part of the BC Porphyry Study. An M.Sc. research project has commenced on the Camp Creek Porphyry Target with the goal of establishing geochemical and alteration vectors towards blind porphyry mineralization. In addition, an alteration mapping project is underway to characterize and map the large 4.1km x 3.9km alteration footprint centered around Camp Creek. With porphyry deposits frequently found in clusters, the use of petrographic, geochemical, and mineral spectrometer analyses will aid with vectoring outside of the currently drilled areas in order to identify additional potential porphyry centers.

2024.05.21 16:42 cruiserman_80 GVM upgrades for a ute and pre rego vs Post Rego.

I've just purchased a 2023 Hilux Extra cab interstate and plan to put an alloy canopy on it for work and play.
Still tossing up whether to go for a tray and jack off canopy or a full fixed service body, but either way will likely need a gvm upgrade. It is no longer registered in VIC and I will need to register it in NSW when it arrives. So is it possible to get a pre rego GVM or do I have to pay more for same kit plus an engineers report because it was previously registered?
Also, can anyone recommend GVM upgrades based on price and performance?

2024.05.21 16:41 Even-Leader-5188 Can we turn this around?

I (30F) met this guy (34M) on Raya a month and a half ago. We immediately hit it off. Always on the phone, FT watching movies/shows every single night. Planning upcoming trips (he lives in Indianapolis and I live in Atlanta). After a week he planned his trip to Atlanta and we agreed I'd go to Indianapolis two weeks later, and he would come to LA where I would be two weeks after that. Shortly before coming to Atlanta, he asked me to go with him to TN with his parents the week before I go to Indianapolis (the week after he came to Atlanta). I said yes and we were both SO excited. I just think things changed in Atlanta. I found him to be pretty inconsiderate because we only went places he wanted to go, stayed out very late every night, and really only met up with his friends. His excessive weed smoking also bothered me. His last night there, I told him how I felt and he completely disagreed and thought that he was being considerate so we had a slight argument. The next day before I took him to the airport, I asked him whether the disagreement changed anything between us and he said no, so I believed that.
Over the next week after Atlanta, the conversations slowed and we didn't watch movies or FaceTime not even a single time. He never mentioned TN again and went without me. While in TN, he hardly texted me back, so I told him I felt things were different. He was a little defensive but apologized and said it was not intentional. Then over the next few days (leading up to me going to Indianapolis), conversation was still slow and still no FaceTime. I just felt in my guy things were different and was not comfortable going anymore (I was solely going to visit him, but when he came to Atlanta, his friends were there too)... but he assured me things were good and that he was excited for me to come.
I am now in Indianapolis and heading home today. I have very mixed feelings about how things went. I am sad that I'm leaving because it feels like this is the last time I will ever see him. Kind of like I'm grieving? The same level of inconsiderateness continued here. He had to work a couple of days and those days I was my by myself until the evening time, which I understood. He's a photographer and his income isnt steady so when he gets a gig he has to take it. I understand. But one of the gigs were pre-planned. He told me about it before I came and put my name on the list to go with him. The morning of the event, he told me that the attire was pink and dressy. Of course I didnt pack anything to fit the dress code so I couldnt go. That evening I told him I just wanted Chillis. He said, "we can go for you but I'm not going to eat anything because I don't like Chillis" and I was like okay cool, let's go where you want to go. He had to take a nap first. Then he had to shower. Then he has to roll his weed. THEN we went. I was starving. Kitchen was closed when we got there. I was so pissed and had a visible attitude. We settled for a taco truck. The next morning, we were laying in bed and I saw that he accidentally opened Tinder. He left for a quick gig and I texted him letting him know we should start using condoms since hes on Tinder. He basically scolded me and said he wasnt on Tinder and he just has the app and that it was immature of me to accuse first before just asking. I apologized. Later, we went back to try the place where the kitchen was closed. Had an overall good day. Then we're sipping wine and watching one of his shows to close the evening, and I suggest a show and he says no and just puts on another one of his shows. The wine hit me at that moment and I went off and told him he's been so inconsiderate despite how understanding I've been the whole trip. He didnt like my tone so he yelled back a little. I called my best friend to get her take on the situation and she did agree that he was inconsiderate but that i shouldnt have yelled. I accept full responsibility for my delivery but it was really how I felt.
I slept on the couch but woke him up to talk about it. I guess I was still emotional and yelling (which I didnt realize I was doing) because he got in my face and yelled, "watch your tone in my f***ing house" and I told him that I was going to look into changing my flight or getting a hotel. He said let's just go to sleep and talk about it when we wake up. At 11 he woke up and I asked if we could talk about it. He said after he gets out the shower. After the shower, the talk was short. It was mainly me asking him if he thought this was going to work. He said he wanted it to work but that he isnt confident.
Now were down to the last day, we've been having a good time the last two days, but we did agree that him coming to LA was too soon and expensive for now. Is it possible to turn this around? I do like him aside from him being inconsiderate. I really enjoyed us connecting before things got weird. But not I feel as though he's looking at me as someone who likes to cause problems, even though that isn't the case. I just feel as though I flew out to see him just to be disregarded. I want to turn things around and get back to where they were. Will pulling back a little, but not maliciously, leaving the ball in his court work?

2024.05.21 16:40 Sapporo_wolf Light Plan Annual Question

Hi Yall. I have been eyeing up the Light Plan for a second line for professional use and now with the rate increase coming I’ve got to decide what to do.
My main concern is, I live close to Canada and travel often into Canada would the service work on WARP or GSM natively? Could I use Wi-Fi calling? Would it work on WARP natively when the feature launches… “Coming Soon”?
And if it doesn’t work would I be able to take the money I spent on the annual plan and roll it over into an unlimited plan with Canada coverage at some point?
Thanks 😎

2024.05.21 16:40 AutoModerator Tuesday Trivia Thread - 21/05/24

Beep bop. As your new robotic overlord, I have designated this weekly space for you to engage in casual conversation while I plan a nuclear apocalypse.
In the Trivia Thread, moderation is relaxed, so you can finally:
- Post mind-blowing military history trivia. Can you believe 300 is not an entirely accurate depiction of how the Spartans lived and fought?
- Discuss hypotheticals and what-if's. A Warthog firing warthogs versus a Growler firing growlers, who would win? Could Hitler have done Sealion if he had a bazillion V-2's and hovertanks?
- Discuss the latest news of invasions, diplomacy, insurgency etc without pesky 1 year rule.
- Write an essay on why your favorite colour assault rifle or flavour energy drink would totally win WW3 or how aircraft carriers are really vulnerable and useless and battleships are the future.
- Share what books/articles/movies related to military history you've been reading.
- Advertisements for events, scholarships, projects or other military science/history related opportunities relevant to War College users. ALL OF THIS CONTENT MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR MOD REVIEW.
Basic rules about politeness and respect still apply.

2024.05.21 16:39 Erika02155 Mini recap - School Committee Meeting & Budget Vote 5/20/24

So…what happened at last night’s 5+ hour meeting? The top story is that the committee voted 6/0/1 (the Mayor abstained) to ask the city for $79.4 million to fund our schools in the 2024-25 fiscal year. This is $8.2 million more than what the district received this year, $5 million more than the number initially provided to the district from the city, and $2.7 more than the number that we received at the May 6 meeting (which included $2.3 million worth of cuts to close the gap between the city’s initial number and the full ask). You can see this laid out before and after public comment (2:21 and 5:09 marks, respectively).
What’s next? The superintendent will present this “ask” to the city council as part of their review of the Mayor’s proposed city budget. Eventually, the Mayor will present a final city budget to the council and once approved, the amount allotted to the schools will come back to the Superintendent as a number so she and her team can create the final budget proposal within that final number. School committee will then need to vote to approve that budget for the upcoming fiscal year (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025).
What else? Recap below. As always, observations and opinions are solely my own. Agenda is here, recording is here. This update also includes some clarification about the difference between level funding and level services, as these are terms getting thrown around a lot.
  1. Consent agenda - Two amendments (to add a link to one of the subcommittee meeting minutes and strike from the record the street addresses of students who presented at the budget hearing) but otherwise this approval was routine.
  2. Report from the Ad Hoc Handbook Review subcommittee - The proposed policy (in the agenda) was approved in its first reading. (New policies get read twice over the course of two meetings to give relevant stakeholders a chance to comment on them, unless the committee decides to waive the second reading. We declined to do so last night, so this is now the time for district and school administration to provide feedback on the policy.
  3. Report from Behavioral Health & Special Education subcommittee - The recommendation to co-locate the Curtis-Tufts school in/with the new high school was approved. The administration and building committee will need to flesh this out for inclusion in the materials to be presented to the MSBA.
  4. CCSR recognition - summary of the program by advisor Richard Trotter (400 students, 70 projects this year), two student presentations (a high school student who talked about the program generally as well as his Mystic River clean up projects, and two elementary school students talking about their Letter Carriers Safety program), and appreciation for the support of the Cummings Foundation.
  5. Humanities awards recognition - Young Playwrights Project, Student Government Day, Boston Globe Scholastic Writing Awards, Geography Bee, Day on the Hill, Shakespearean Monologue Competition, Immigration Learning Center Teen Perspectives Contest, Ethics Bowl, Mock Trial, Model United Nations - congratulations to all students and their advisors
  6. High school update & climate survey results presented by principals Marta Cabral and Chad Fallon - This included data comparisons between last year and this year (all trends were positive), discussion of community norms and core values, an update on the exploratory program (CTE/arts rotation and placements), and some highlights from several CTE programs/projects (scarpentry heds, health assisting, awards, licensing, apprenticeships/placements, the biodiesel collaborative project, and the robotics team), three year strategic priorities, an update on last year’s Welch Report (various pieces in progress, other recommendations planned to go into effect next school year), and a proposal for an alternative program proposal to provide a small group learning environment to meet individual needs (pilot was approved by the committee for next school year).
  7. Proposal for CTE program expansion and additions - Chad Fallon provided an overview of the enrollment/wait list numbers, shared the results of a (still-in-progress) student survey about potential new offerings (criminal justice/protective services, dental assisting, IT/networking, plumbing/HVAC, veterinary science, and the various “other” responses to an open-ended prompt), and laid out plans for expanding those programs with the highest wait list numbers (auto technology, cosmetology, electrical, and health assisting programs). The committee passed a motion directing the administration to further flesh out the proposals for inclusion in the building committee’s materials for MSBA.
  8. Budget presentation (6:38 p.m., so 1.5 hours into the meeting) - Interim Finance Director Gerry McCue provided some additional context for the budget proposal received on May 6. There were questions and comments from the school committee and student representatives (including a petition), and Member Ruseau made a motion to send a cuts-free budget to city council and the Mayor. Public comment from students, alums, teachers, and parents ensued, focusing on the coordinator of performing arts position, marching band and color guard, the Missituk teaching staff, and a smattering of other items including library, technology, administrative assistants, and kindergarten numbers. Also of note, the Superintendent answered some questions about the performing arts coordinator position around 8:30 (3.5 hours in).
  9. Budget vote - The committee voted to approve the motion offered before public comment began. As noted previously, this is NOT the approved budget but rather, the amount we (school committee and the district) are asking the city for. The city council will review the request in the context of the full city budget, ask questions, offer opinions, but eventually the Mayor’s office will present a final budget for city council approval and, once approved, whatever the school number is will come back to the district, who will then prepare a final budget for school committee to vote on.
  10. Motion to table the update from the MSBA building committee’s meeting last week - passed and, following condolences, the meeting was adjourned. Next regular meeting is June 3.
BONUS CONTENT! What is the difference between a level funding budget and a level services budget? Level funding provides schools with the same dollar amount as they received in the year before. Because things tend to cost more year to year (due to inflation, contractual raises, etc.) having the same amount of money usually means reducing services. Level services, on the other hand, keeps the services the same but due to aforementioned cost increases, requires a higher dollar amount than the previous year. What did the district/school committee ask for this year? We voted to ask not just for level services, but level services plus additional funding to meet additional district needs (the items presented at the May 6 meeting, nothing new since then).
Superintendent should be at tonight's city council meeting to make this ask and answer questions.

2024.05.21 16:38 jjd_87 Do "Season Passes" delete when you cancel your account temporarily?

We are starting the process of moving out and will be living with family while our new home is being built. I plan on suspending my Frontier service which is how my Youtube TV is billed. Once I resume service will my "Season Passes" (Tivo phrasing, I don't know what Youtube calls them) show back up or will I start with a fresh account? I'm not worried about the actual recordings just all the shows that are marked to record.

2024.05.21 16:37 Turbulent-Yam-1113 Moto Rental Business Plan as a student!

Hello and good day everyone! I'm currently a college student planning to run a motorcycle rental business in our small island province where maraming tourists (foreign and domestic) na dumadayo occasionally and during holidays. I think one advantage is that competition in this business (at least in our place) is not that high so I was thinking of making the first move to build brand popularity as early as possible.
Here's the thing, I'm planning to purchase good condition second-hand motorbikes, more on dirt bikes and big-bodied bikes (not big bikes) for foreign clients and for those na gusto mag adventure at trailing, rent them out for about 800-2k/ day depending on the type of bike. Since yung 2 existing moto rental business in our island only rents out small scooters and semi-manual bikes of very common models (click, xrm, smash, other super common ph bikes na everyday sight), i thought of making this business more unique by acquiring rather not too common motorbikes and para na rin mas more attractive to potential customers.
Initially, i'm planning of just purchasing one unit first for at least 25-35k pesos to see if the business plan works and then eventually expand my network.
Where will I get my capital? I'm going to get in the moto taxi service very soon. My parents are still providing for me pa naman (no we're not rich, not in the line of poverty either (thanks god)) but as much as possible I want to establish something na galing sa pagod at hirap ko and then eventually expand this business further. I also think this is a good opportunity to train my managerial and business skills
I'm knowledgeable rin naman sa videography and a little sa graphic design so I can make a promotional video or ads for my potential business and advertise it on social media as well.
So to those who have experience or the knowledge, what do you guys think? As much as possible, I wrote this post without being too idealistic but more aligned to reality. Do you think magiging feasible kaya? Is the ROI worth it? What advices can you give me? Help a striving student out :D
Also additionally, if you have more side line job ideas na flexible at hindi magiging conflicting sa studies, please let me know! I'm always open for ideas!
I can accept criticism rin but please observe your way of communication
Thank you very much!!!

2024.05.21 16:37 jackcliffelectrical What Are the Long-Term Financial Benefits of Solar Installation in Gold Coast?

What Are the Long-Term Financial Benefits of Solar Installation in Gold Coast?
As businesses and homeowners in the Gold Coast increasingly look towards sustainable energy solutions, solar power has emerged as a front-runner. But beyond the environmental benefits, there are significant long-term financial advantages to consider. This blog will explore the numerous financial benefits of Solar Installation in Gold Coast, with insights from Jack Cliff Electrical.
1. Reduction in Energy Bills
One of the most immediate and noticeable benefits of solar installation is the reduction in energy bills. By generating your own electricity, you rely less on the grid, which translates to lower monthly utility costs. For businesses, this can mean substantial savings, freeing up capital for other investments.
Jack Cliff Electrical offers customised solar solutions that maximise your energy production, ensuring you get the most out of your solar panels.
2. Return on Investment (ROI)
Solar panels typically have a lifespan of 25-30 years, and the initial investment can often be recouped within 5-7 years through energy savings and government incentives. This means that for the majority of the system's lifespan, the electricity generated is essentially free, providing a high return on investment.
By partnering with Jack Cliff Electrical, you can ensure that your solar system is optimised for maximum efficiency, accelerating your ROI.
3. Government Incentives and Rebates
The Australian government offers various incentives to encourage the adoption of solar energy. These include rebates, tax credits, and feed-in tariffs, which can significantly offset the initial cost of solar installation. Businesses in particular can benefit from additional tax deductions.
Jack Cliff Electrical stays updated on the latest incentives and will help you navigate these opportunities to maximise your savings.

4. Increased Property Value
Properties equipped with solar panels often see an increase in market value. Potential buyers recognize the benefits of reduced energy costs and the positive environmental impact, making solar-equipped homes and commercial buildings more attractive.
By investing in Solar Installation in Gold Coast with Jack Cliff Electrical, you not only save on energy costs but also enhance the resale value of your property.
5. Energy Independence and Stability
Relying on solar energy reduces your dependence on the fluctuating prices of traditional energy sources. This energy stability allows for better financial planning and shields you from unexpected spikes in energy costs.
Jack Cliff Electrical ensures that your solar installation is reliable and efficient, providing you with a steady and predictable energy source.
6. Maintenance Savings
Solar panels require minimal maintenance compared to other energy systems. Routine checks and occasional cleaning are usually sufficient to keep them running efficiently. This low maintenance aspect means fewer operational costs over the lifetime of the system.
Jack Cliff Electrical offers comprehensive maintenance services to keep your system running smoothly and efficiently, further reducing long-term costs.
7. Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
While not a direct financial benefit, businesses that adopt solar energy can enhance their corporate social responsibility profile. This positive image can attract environmentally conscious customers and partners, leading to potential business growth and opportunities.
Jack Cliff Electrical can help businesses in Gold Coast showcase their commitment to sustainability through effective solar solutions.
Conclusion
Investing in Solar Installation in Gold Coast with Jack Cliff Electrical offers numerous long-term financial benefits. From reducing energy bills and enhancing property value to taking advantage of government incentives and achieving energy independence, the financial advantages are compelling. Additionally, businesses can boost their CSR profiles, further supporting their growth and sustainability goals.

2024.05.21 16:36 FatKnob Help! How do I locate underground pipes and cables before digging?

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to put up a post in my garden and need to dig a fairly deep hole. I'm worried about accidentally hitting any pipes or cables underground. There is a street lamp which is about 0.5 metres away from where the post needs to go.
Does anyone have experience with this? How do you normally find out where everything is located? Are there any tools or services I should be using?
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

2024.05.21 16:36 Level-Ordinary_1057 Why Phototec can't find files that other commercial softwares can?

I used the trial versions of some commercial file recovery services such as Easeuse and Recoverit on a USB stick where files were deleted permanently (Shift+Del, Empty Bin). Supprisingly, the commercial softwares did find the deleted files (couldn't recover because of recovery size limitation in trial version) but Photorec and Recuva didn't even find them. Previously almost a decade ago, I used Photorec and it could recover similarly deleted files from a spinning HDD.
Why this happens? I read on a old forum thread that the commercial softwares and photorec has different recovery method. But how that matters as long as both of them are recovering deleted files? Is there any free alternative with full file recovery capabilities?

2024.05.21 16:33 HonestRef What country do you think will go far in the Euros and surprise people?

What are your Dark horses? Not saying the country that will win but one that will go further than people expect? Mine is Serbia.
I think Serbia have a good spine of the team. Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is a solid experienced keeper. Nicola Milenkovic has been one of the most underrated centre backs of the past few years. I've been really impressed with his performances with Fiorentina. At 26 he is in his prime.
My worry is that Serbian playmaker Dusan Tadic is 35 but still looks fit and had a good season. The rest of the midfield players like Filip Koctic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Sasa Lukic and Andrija Zivkovic are all in their prime between the ages of 27-31. Lazar Samardzic has had a good session for Udinese and at 22 could be one to watch.
But best of all is the fire power up front. Dusan Vlahovic is for me one of the best strikers in Europe right now. Aleksander Mitrovic is banging in the goals in Saudi second only to Ronaldo in that league and Luca Jovic of AC Milan is another decent striker. If the midfield can provide good service to these guys then the goals will come.
I think Serbia's group is not the toughest. Denmark I don't think are as good as they were 4 years ago. Slovenia with all due respect are the weakest team in the group. I don't think England are as great as they are made out to be either. I think they are a bit overrated and Denmark or Serbia could get a result against them on their day.

It just has to do with somebody else not liking what they see boys act out. Hitting us has become normalized.

Maybe social media gets me talking maybe that's why I'm there? I don't know why I'm there I don't belong there. This is a really good post that I endorse. It just has to do with somebody else not liking what they see boys act out. Hitting us has become normalized.
Ladies this is not a fancy bag this is not a joke this is a serious public service announcement. He may seem like a very possible choice and you may meetd his mom and dad.
When you mix his ego, testosterone, his need to control things his need to dominate certain things they're just not safe people anymore. You can go around and you can play with the guy but you're going to get hurt. That's all like this life is managing pain. Now you can be single and be sad that you're single you can go have a guy and complain about him gaslighting you. You can have a marriage and feel burden for the rest of your miserable life with that outcome. There's just people that were born in this world that have no happiness with other people because people are fundamentally dangerous.
I was talking over at Twitter in the post about how in my twenties I was losing my home and this guy had to tell HR that I was doing things that I wasn't doing and HR looked at me missing work two days in one month plus his little story, and the outcome as I got fired. Now that was around 2007-2008 I went on to another job lost that job in the middle of foreclosing and moving because if you miss six mortgage payments that's 6 months of property taxes and you will be evicted. So I went ahead and moved out on June 12th out of my home. And this guy will call him Greg looks around for me all over Charlotte he thought I moved to an apartment he thought I moved in with a friend. And he couldn't find me for a while now this was the guy that made sure to tell HR to fire me so I was a little f****** confused why he is looking me up. and everybody this was before when the internet got so big that you could find everything and find everybody. And by the way you people that keep on looking up other people leave them the hell alone. Anyways back to this situation so in Charlotte some kid in his thirties had the bad mouth a girl with the house in her twenties that just wants her art and her two jobs or one job and left alone. Doesn't want a cat doesn't want a dog doesn't want a marriage doesn't want a baby. Doesn't want to take care of a goddamn thing except for her income and her healthcare. I've managed bipolar depression since my teens everyone it's been 30 years of managing pills and managing new doctors that don't know what the hell they're doing and they think I'm a science experiment. I'm just a woman that takes bipolar medication and I have so many God damn health problems I can't f****** imagine why anybody today in today's times would fire a working woman they're just trying to do a clerical job or a retail job and some HR b**** son HR Karen believes some prick guy over Linda and Linda loses everything anyhow. I was losing anyhow but I didn't need kicked while I was down on that job greg. And now
My thirties I get involved with the Christian people these super duper Protestant Christian people, and they f***** my life up so God damn bad I am afraid of people.
These six or seven m************ put together a bunch of screenshots about myself and a bunch of other women but funny those screenshots only made it to me, and they all laugh about it by the way this is just funny shop talk as far as they're concerned. It cost me a lot of mental and emotional pain and the last round with my 20s and 30s f***** up my wallet. But did it? Did it really? I would never have survived in Charlotte or anywhere else with my bipolar depression My outcome was going to be a disability and a gaf score for of 45.
I just want all of the men to know how much power white power and control you exercised over my life you goddamn monsters.
So yes I am afraid of everything I am afraid of everyone I have full-blown agoraphobia and full-blown car sickness because I can't trust you f****** men driving either you mother f****** wrecked my car I am so God damn sick of 40 f****** years of you rotten men ruining everything and ruining my life. And I sound like every other woman because you men ruin our lives anyhow. You and your goddamn white power well how much white power do you have now? You mother f***. Enough w to white power to get me fired huh, I hope you live in so much white power you're eventually found out by the law but there is no laws on the books for what you did to my life or what you did to HR or what you did behind the scenes you get away with it Scott free isn't it sweet and you have a free ticket to heaven too! You're such a success story you're so smart you're so elite you're such an intelligent genius that you didn't know what a global assessment functioning score was and you didn't know that Linda score is literally 45 and she wanted to be left alone and you ruined your life I applaud you for ruining her life and her mother and father f** her over to. Have you ever heard of having an only child and having six or seven pensions between you and your wife and yet the daughter lands up broke and under educated? Isn't that sweet and then Linda when you died when mom and dad died couldn't afford anything because you know she's poor and so her family had to abuse her at her mother's funeral on May 16th 2015 9 f****** years ago Linda was begging for help on the internet and thank God it eventually came for her you know years later she had to wait a long time but you didn't have to wait for anything at huh? Ted or Greg. I just think you're both such smart white power trips and I just remember how thankful I am that I can close my door at night and I'm completely alone with my art no guy, no responsibilities like children no commitments and no attachments isn't that the ultimate life that you guys want? No of course not of course you want your responsibilities, children, attachments, commitments. And I'm the foolish one because I'm so thankful that I lived through a few difficult times and I just have a couple basics around the house like my watercolors and a little bit of applesauce and yogurt to eat today and that's pretty much my life I have to manage five plus medications every day and I'm disabled from bipolar depression and five other problems. And I just thank you for being an a****** in my life guys you're really wonderful and you really reinforce that God loves us and you truly reinforce that you love people sincerely from Linda
