On May 16th, I received an email saying that my google play console account was closed and I did nothing malicious in my account, my account was closed for no reason, I know I did nothing wrong. I requested an appeal, but the message I received says that your connection was found with a previously banned developer account. The interesting part is that I am opening a developer account for the first time, please help me fix this error, I hope a Google employee will see this message and fix the error. I was really upset and demotivated when I got this news. I publish my games as a hobby and in the hope of making some money to pay off student debts, my main goal is to get a job in game development but being banned like this feels really bad. I'm hoping someone from Google's internal team will see this post and unblock my account. It's very upsetting to be banned like this right before going on vacation.

I need to start alerting this will be a long post, also english is not my first language so please forgive any typos, always trying to improve.
Alright, this is a long story. It all started in december of 2021, i was 17 (female]), i was doing some exams and my mom was in a child's party of her nephew's son. This nephew (my cousin duh), who i will call T, have a long term friend, E. The thing is, E has a son, who we will be calling Rat (because that's what he is), 18 years old. Rat and i knew each other from childhood, when we were 9, he even asked me to be his girlfriend, but we lost contact after that and both pretty much forgot the existence of one another. But my mom, in this party, decided to chat with E and Rat, and talked about me to Rat, who remembered me and got interested. He started to follow me on insta and we start to chat on whatsapp.
After only a few days talking, we decded to go out with a bunch of his friends, and in that night we kissed. After that, everything moved on really fast, we talked non-stop all day. 12 days after the kiss, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Yes, i know, i was stupid to accept it, but i was a naive girl, i did not have proper teen years because of the pandemic, and this with the "childhood boyfriend appears again" narrative, it was set for disaster since the start.
We started dating, the first month was magical, i am from the southern hemisphere, here january means vacation on the beach, and we spent a week together there. I lost my v-card with him in the beach also. It was good, his family was a bit weird, but i was dating him not his family right?
Things started going south after february, my birthday was in that month, he spent the party with me. And everything resolved to me asking for forgiveness, but not only after i bawled my eyes out, harm myself (i would scratch my whole arms with my nails), and have panic attacks. He punished me like that, at least 2/3 times a month. But at the same time, every month he celebrated one more month of our relationships, posting long detailed texts about it in his stories, like really detailed, i felt exposed, our relationship had no privacy because of that. Butagain i did not feel in the right to complain, how many girls beg for one photo posted on stories? and i was receiving long texts, i shouldn't complain, right?
In the fourth month of the relationship, he was in a hurry to have sex, and tried to put it inside right away, i wasn't ready, i was still kind of dry, and the result of it was an vaginal fissure, please google about it for a proper description from a professional. After one week, he was alread posting stories going out with another girl, and i started going to the psychiatrist, who gave me two meds, an antidepressant and one for sleep. I was drugged with these two meds all the time, they were really strong, and the Rat knew that, he still kept touch with me, and he knew about the meds and my mental state.
Still knowing all of this, he still suggested to come in my house one day, when my mom wasn't around, and ww hook up. I was not in a mental state to say no, i was emotional dependent of him, full on meds, so i consented (even if my friends to this day say it was not consensual). We kept that for around 4 months, until he posted with another girl, calling her his girlfriend, and canceling the plans of coming to my house the very next day of the post. I was in shambles, i almost killed myself, i SHed myself multiple times, i wasn't sane.
I decided to stop seeing his posts, but even after starting dating this girl (Let's call her chaos, you'll understand why), he still contacted me regularly. Keep in mind this is like, already december 2022, one year after we started dating. In january 2023, i was feeling a bit back in my feet, despite he still contacting me while dating another girl. He never cheated her with me, never. In february i was accepted in the college of my dreams, he congratulated me. That's when it clicked me, if i refused, he was probably going after her, so i found a friend me and Chaos had in common (i never spoke or met her in person before) and i asked the friend to warn her about the Rat. But Chaos wanted to chat with me, so i agreed. We started to chat, she asked some questions, apparently, she didn't know about all the times the Rat contacted me in 2023 while they were dating. She said she considers this as cheating, and i agree honestly. Anyways, that same day she discovered all of this from me, she called him for a talk in person. She exposed him about all his lies, he tried to get out lying more, but she was clever, she called him nothing more than a boy, not a man, a liar, and said he was just like his father (his father cheated on his mom and he hates his father). She left him broken, told him he was a product of a very bad sex.
But Chaos did not stopped her revenge there, she called me again, asking if i could go to a bar with her for some drinks. I agree, she wanted gossip, the two of us together, in our small town would give her that. We went to a bar, a bunch of his friends were there and saw us, eyes wide open. Not being so humble now, we are both very pretty women, i must say. We decided to drink, celebrating the rat going far away to another city. Then the rat appeared, joining his friends. We ignored him and continue driking and chatting. She is very nice, funny and a joy to talk, we talked for hours, with him staring us the whole time, he even sent a message to her saying "i hope you're having the fun you wanted so badly with this" and she laughed out loud when she read it, aswering "yeah it's amazing thanks!" And then she sent a pic of me and her, saying "consider this a farewell gift".
I was an amazing night, i felt like i was finally avenged, not only myself but all the girls that came before me and suffered in his hand. Chaos was fullfilled, he also abused her mentally, but she is a strong women and gave it back to him in the same energy, i wish i wasn't so fragile after my own break up with him, i wish i had been stronger like her, she is impressive.
Now me and her are messaging every person we know from the city he is currently moving in, talking about the abuser he is, alerting as many women as possible about him, because I don't wish it on anyone what us and many other women in my city suffered in his hands. Also i warned him if he ever tried to contact me again i will leak all of the prints of him abusing me verbally in texts, and the first person to read it all will be his mommy.

I hired a plumber based on the good reviews he had on Google. Long story short he came to my house, spent 15 minutes and said everything was fixed. I paid him 350 cash and he left in a rush. Moments later my kitchen flooded. I asked him to come back and help stop the leak. He said "it's a drain problem, call your landlord to clean your drains, it's not my job". When we insisted he come back, he hung up and blocked me. Since I live with my rooommate, we both paid for the service and both left 1 star reviews. His Google review score went from 4.8 to 4.6. He then unblocked me and sent a threatening text suggesting we remove our reviews, upon which I blocked him and held my review up. One day later, we both got notified that our reviews were now "not posted" and his grade went back up to 4.8 (and our reviews are no longer visible publicly). I am not going to drop this because other potential customers deserve to know that 4.8 is not a realistic review of his services, he just deletes negative reviews. We both appealed the decision and I'm not sure what to do now, I feel quite helpless if he can just simply remove any review that he doesn't like. He even replied to it confirming he did the service so I'm not sure on what grounds Google removed it. Is it really that easy for business to delete their negative reviews? What can I do now besides wait?

I (26F) met a guy (43M) on Tinder in November and we started dating in January. We only chatted through Snapchat because he didn't like the way messages from iPhone appeared on his Google phone. It was a decent relationship but I broke up with him earlier this month, because he started a new work schedule which put a strain on his mood and gave no time for us to hang out and I just really didn't want to add more stress in his life. He seemed to take it real well and when I asked him if he wanted to keep streaks alive, because he was my first Snapstreak and I really only kept them going because he liked them so much and he said yes, so I've been still sending them every day.
Two weeks ago my ex from teenage years (45m) started messaging me on Snapchat because that was also our primary mode of contact so he could access my location when he needed to and I won't get into it but he just sends some really stressing things. Because of this, I deleted my Snapchat and made a new one.
When I messaged my ex (43M) I apologized for ending the streaks and didn’t get into the why but told him "I had to delete my old account because some really disturbing things have been being sent to me" and I offered to start streaks up again, but as I was adding some of my friends on there his name disappeared and when I searched him again, it showed he blocked me.
I texted him and asked him if he blocked me and if he did, he doesn't have to unblock me, but just why. A couple hours later I tried calling him and found out he blocked my phone number. I re-activated my old Snapchat to see if I could save our streaks and maybe that was the reason he was upset but after I messaged him on there, he blocked me on that, too.
I don't really understand why he did what he did. I am very confused and I don't think I've ever treated him poorly. Did the streaks mean that much??? The first thing I did when I chose my new Snapchat name was add and message him, so doesn't that show more than the Snapstreak??
I don't think I'm really sad about losing contact with him because this is a real big turn off for me, so I definitely don't want him as a friend, but it's just so out of the blue and I don't get it!!! I know this is something I'll never really get closure on so in my mind, I'm just going to think he lost his phone in the woods and a rando picked it up and went through deleting all the fine ass honeys on his snap to give him a little rush

I’ll spare you all of the nitty gritty - had a fiery hot breakup with a woman who deals with severe alcohol abuse problems. The intricacies of that I will be omitting.
A time line of events in the last week-
Sunday - I apologize for my wrong doings at the end of the brief relationship. No contact the remainder of the day. She comes directly to the bar spot I like to relax with friends that she never stepped foot in before meeting me, to use the restroom and leave and yell “fuck you”. Okay , whatever.
Monday - I begin receiving texts and calls from several numbers, mostly non threatening and mocking in nature. I consult police because I have an inherent belief some of these phone numbers (a couple of which I could true people search and figure out who they were) would intend to potentially hurt or threaten me. Police tell me I have to receive an inherent threat for them to act. I text the woman from a google voice number to politely ask for it to stop, and to not follow me to the place I like to go to be safe and have fun. Of course, I just get shit on.
Tuesday - I receive more and more texts and calls, spam calls, and a text message that is inherently threatening. Threatening to “86” me if I don’t “fall off”. I decide to have a conversation with one of the numbers that I knew the identity of to understand how my number was being spread. She had posted it in a group chat, which was then shared to a mass amount of people. I again show her the texts I’m receiving, ask her to stop distributing my phone number before I get a protective order. I Get shit on, no idea what you’re talking about, all that. Am told she would be getting a new phone number and that if I contacted her again she’d go to the police.
Fast forward
Friday - the texts and calls have mostly stopped. I clean my home, find a lot of her belongings , enough to not want to throw away. I made it clear I had no ill will towards her, that I don’t want anything to continue and hope the best for her and made that clear to her friends even with everything she did to me. I make sure she isn’t home, drop the bag off with her stuff, and leave promptly. She unblocks me to send a $1 Apple Pay to mock me with regard to something I said about small claims court because she owed me money. I unfortunately engage in conversation, entirely civil, tell her I have no issues with her nothing and say nothing but good things about her under the issues she faces. Made one disparaging comment about her alcohol abuse and throwing away everything good in her life with it, and hoping she gets better after she shit on me again. She later realizes I dropped the stuff off at her home, asks me to not show up unannounced, totally reasonable. I say I just did it because I was blocked on everything, was told a she’d be getting new number, and even if she didn’t I did not want to reopen the conversation.
Friday night - she shows up to the one bar spot, again, with a friend. Okay - I will avoid her, she’s doing this to get a reaction out of me, it is what it is. I’ll avoid her and go out back with my friends. She follows me, and sits directly behind me to continue bad mouthing me and making jokes to cause me stress. She is also wearing one of my shirts. I see in my phone I have yet another new text mocking me for a haircut. Truepeople search, lo and behold it’s the person she’s with, who she just gave my phone number to. She follows me again when I go back inside, at which point I speak to a police officer outside, tell him the situation, he seems supportive and removes them to speak with them outside. I finally think it’s over, whatever. Cop comes back to tell me “I can’t solve your problems, she’s saying you’re harassing her and showing up to her home unannounced, I asked them to leave you alone.” He was a prick about it. They come back in, continue to follow me, yell shit about me right behind me, and bring a big group of friends to do the same. While she constantly checks to see if I’m nearby because every time I moved, she’d follow.
I asked after the bar closed for the both of them to please leave me alone, politely, over text and one phone call that I was entirely civil during, once again get shit on. Bartender who I’m friends with told me he intended on kicking them out but was swamped, which he was, and they were in and out too much focused on following me anywhere I went in the bar.
Several people asked me if I was okay who were witnessing the whole thing all night.
With all of this, do I have the necessary evidence to have a protective order served against her?

Hi there, long time lurker (since DDay last december) here but first time poster! Before I make this post, I want to clarify that I will be using the correct jargon and abbreviations for this subreddit, although I am still not sure wether my story belongs here. So here goes!
Me (31F), the BP and my WP (30M) have been together for 4 years now. December 2023 I caught my WP in what I believe was a starting EA. I had suspicions for while though, since it started in May 2022. Things were odd in my opinion, but I've also found it wasn't anything like most stories i'd read of EA's and nevee thought it was just me being silly.
WP was finishing his degree and he had half a year of a curriculum to follow still, with a new school and classmates. He found a friend group (all around 19/20 years old) there that he enjoyed hanging out with. Total of 4 guys (including him) and 2 girls. The curriculum ended with a 4-day schooltrip, after which he started acting weird. He was glued to his phone and distant. So much so that he ruined our anniversary dinner. He was completely distant, and when i suggested annoyingly that we might as well just leave, his response was "sure." And so we did.
I got tired of this behaviour and confronted him with it. It then came out that it was because it was a very emotional trip, where he revealed some traume about himself to his classmates, and didnt know how to reveal it to me and was afraid. I found this very strange as I did not see the connection to his distant behaviour in that. I won't go into detail but i personally did not find it anything to be ashamed of. As far as I know nothing happened there (though now, I will never know I guess), only that it was very much some teenager frat party for the entire trip.
Over the next 1,5 years from that trip in May 2022, WP and this group of friends stayed in contact. It wasn't much, and they'd see each other every 2 or 3 months, but WP did have considerably more text conact with one girl (AP), although it wasn't as much as most EA stories I read, like once a month (much more right after the trip though). Whenever he'd meet the friend group, WP would make it a thing to avoid inviting me. I'd seen them only twice in that whole time. He would either inform me a week before the meetup he was gonna go there, without invitation, or let me know right before or not at all (i later found in text messages, on meetups that never happened). It was always with the group though.
Don't get me wrong, I probably would've declined invitations anyway as they were way too young imo, but that fact he went out of is way to not include me was odd. Besides that i absolutely believe its healthy to also have friend alone time besides partner. But still, it struck me as strange.
This went on until he told me beginning of last december he was going for a weekend away with them at some point. His behaviour was beyond weird and awkward, as if he was asking his mom something he knew the answer was gonna be 'no' to. Thats when, a week later, i needed his phone for something, and it urged me to check messages with AP.
There it became apparant they had a much closer bond, albeit the little contact. There was mostly joking, but also some flirtation, mostly from her side. I found it during the 4 day school trip she had been telling him that people were gossiping because she supposedly was in love with him, and looking at hime alot and asked him if he minded the gossip. WP's response was "pff i dont care, ill look back at you like im in love, let them talk". There was also alot of venting from her about her bf, and him being the support for it all. I used to admire WP's need to help others, now it just makes me wanna vomit.
In the more recent convo's between them she was telling him to ask my permission for a weekend away, which is strange imo as friends, to do that. She started joking abouy skinny dippinh after. After that she was venting about the break up between her bf and her, how she was so "sex deprived" after a week, WP was happily joking along🙄 until she suggested that she'd get her fix with WP. WP's answer was ambigious, in our language it could equally mean "too bad for you I am taken" or "unfortunately I am taken already". AP reacted somewhere along the lines of "im only joking you know that😘😘😘". WP replied "i know babez😘"
Had read most of it at this point and had enough. I confronted him 2 weeks later. What followed was me yelling and crying, and him trying to explain everything with logic. Not once did he reassure or comfort me. Not until I asked him to. He didn't cut contact with AP immediately, but did so a week later. He decided that on his own and decided to do it when we were both at work. It was another stab in the back because it felt like he just wanted to control the narrative. I did check his phone at this time and he started deleting stuff, he also wasn't fully aware what I knew at this point (mind you he never deleted stuff before and phones were always open for each other) I asked him multiplie times if he wasnt deleting and lying about stuff, in comes the TT, lying and denying🙄. It wasn't until i mentioned, multiple times that I knew he was deleting and lying about stuff. His response "ohyeah, no i remember i did delete some stuff". He never fully aknowledged his betrayal, nor his TT and lying. He did fully block AP, went NC, as well as with the entire friend group, but he has done nothing to fix this. He keeps saying "he doesn't know how to fix it", even though he shows remorse and says he never wanted AP or meant anything with it, i guess throwing away our relationship meant less then "anything" then if thats the case. I feel like it's not my problem to fix, he has google and other resources to try and find a way but he just doesn't.
I am hurt, humiliated and angry. He has done nothing right in this proces, i feel. He has been rugsweeping, not been transparant, went NC with AP by blaming himself and coddling her. blocked her. Unblocked her again and then blocked again. Ofcourse no visible messages, but i cannot no for sure there werent any. AP's last message to WP was "i hope ill talk to you again at school XYZ". So apparantly they had discussed going there together next, something i knew nothing of while I was trying to help him find a good next school (which he was always dismissing, now i know why). I feel my resentment for him grow, even though he has been more sweet to me lately. I feel he has not even acknowledged the gravity of what he has done to me. The only thing he did 'right' was voluntarily telling me he gave AP a neck massage once at one of these meetups, I did not know at all. Apparantly she messaged him after rather flirtasiously afterwards, which was deleted.
We are not in IC or CC, as our workschedules don't allow it, though, to be fair he has not initiated it either and I also refuse to do it myself. Sometimes i even doubt this was an EA and it's in my head, but the pain is very very real. Advice is welcome, thank you and sorry for the long read<3
EDIT: I forgot to add that WP did explain his avoidance behaviour and clingyness to this group, he felt like he could finally be the center of attention there, since he couldnt with me and my friends, especially since im an extrovert and WP is an introvert. Thats why he never wanted me with these meetups. Also because he moved from pretty far to my place and these where the only friends who werent 2 hours away

Years ago, end of 2020 and very early 2021, I (at the time 19M) became friends with a guy (at the time 26M) through an online server we were in together. After chatting a little, we eventually formed a rapport where we’d text daily and throw jokes at each other. After some time, I started forming a crush on him, which I didn’t entertain because I felt like there was no chance it would come to anything good - he’d constantly make jokes sexualizing me and talking about my (very lacking) sex life, but he clarified once that it was all jokes. He was, in general, much more “active” than I am and would always toss around comments about how many guys he slept with and how good he was at laying pipe or whatever.
He still continued to make jokes sexualizing me, and in-between our dynamic, we had a lot of moments of genuine connection. We texted daily for a really long time and most nights a week, we would send each other “good morning” and “goodnight” messages. He’d ask for me to stream video games for him because he liked watching me play them, he even started buying and gifting me scary video games for me to play since he knew I was a fan of the horror genre. We would watch movies and shows together and have long, long phonecalls into the morning hours since we had a few hours timezone difference. I gave him ideas for planning for his friend’s Vegas bachelors party, and my recommendation actually made it in. I draw for fun and he’d always ask about what I was making and he’d practically beg me to show him if I ever let on that I was working on something. When I was going through the grief of a passed family member, he was there for me and made it clear that he wanted to keep me company so I could feel better.
He worked out and he would sometimes send me photos of him shirtless in the mirror, or sweaty after a session. I’d never really know what to say so I just tried to be supportive.
At the start of summer 2022, I confessed my feelings to him out of a desperate attempt to get the weight that was crushing me off of my chest. I wasn’t expecting anything and I made sure to clarify it - he was kind in his response but something I keep remembering is that he never actually said that he didn’t like me back or not. I don’t know why that stuck out to me.
A month later, he “admitted” to me on a late night phone call that he “didn’t think he was actually gay” and that I was the first person he ever admitted it to. I silently stared at the ceiling and cried. He had only ever told me stories and jokes and comments about how he’d have sex with men. He’d never told me a single moment about having sex or real interest in a woman. He told me that he didn’t feel any emotional connection with any man. His jokes sexualizing me on and off continued. Part of these jokes were how my want for a romantic relationship and my want for safety and affection were somehow more “explicit” than him having sex with people.
We got closer that summer than we had before. We called each other more, we watched movies more often, and he insisted on us marathoning Cowboy Bebop together because it was his favorite anime. I caught COVID for the first time in August due to my fuckhead relatives not telling me that someone had it during a wedding, and I was bedridden for a week. He kept me company for so much time - nearly streaming video games for me every night. I’d hobble downstairs after everyone had left the area so we could play Fall Guys together, and even when he teased me he was kind because every time I tried speaking more than a sentence I would break into nonstop bouts of coughing. He’d wanted to do a DND campaign for me where I would be the only player, and that we’d have fun together where I could play in a sandbox world he’d create for me himself.
After that summer there was suddenly this distance. I’d reach out to ask to watch movies but he was more busy. The streams stopped being regular and he stopped asking for them. The good morning and goodnight messages stopped and the conversations dried up into five-message exchanges where I’d try to engage him but they’d eventually peter out from his end. He started just sending me Twitter memes without any real comments, or the comments he did send were bland and basic jokes.
My father was admitted to the hospital for sudden complications that nearly killed him and I realized I didn’t tell my friend. That was the first nail in the coffin for some reason. Even though he was kind, he wasn’t good at using comforting words - he knew how to comfort me through trying to make me smile and laugh. I didnt tell him and I still don’t fully know why. The distance became more apparent when summer 2023 came and went because I was excited for it. I was hoping we would be able to do stuff and more, but we didn’t. I could have asked him but for some reason I felt like I couldn’t - he was the one that usually asked in the first place. Our text conversations were reduced to him sending me memes on Twitter and he’d turn down my requests to watch movies, even if I asked because I needed the company after a bad day. Out of the blue, one day, he texted me that one of his dogs died. I’d seen photos of his dogs near-daily for years and this sudden revelation shocked me because of how it was just dropped on me out of nowhere - months of this emotional distance suddenly precluding this bombshell announcement. It really upset me and I tried offering comfort but he just brushed it off again when I tried.
At one point I stopped answering his messages because I wanted to see what would happen if I ignored them. The guilt went away for some reason - it vanished and I felt like I was free from the shackles of the situation and like I could breathe in the fresh air. I accidentally messed up though, and after five days of not answering him he chirped and asked how was I, and I broke down. I blocked him before unblocking him a few hours later to confess to him that I was completely melting and that I couldn’t be his friend anymore. I blamed my reaction on myself and my inability to tackle my own emotions, but everyone I’ve explained this to and shown conversations to say that he was emotionally toying with me, even if he didn’t actively realize it.
I explained everything as best as I could through my tears and then told him goodbye. After a few months I wrote a detailed Google doc explaining everything as best as I could and I sent it to him through a social media profile of his that I suspect is dead and inactive now.
I miss him. I miss him so fucking much. I miss his nose and his laugh and his stupid stiff awkward smile and I hate that I ever loved him and that I think I still love him now. Being around him wasn’t good for me but I want him back so badly - I want to go running back to him begging for his forgiveness because I still feel like all of this is my fault. I feel like I pushed through a boundary but the more I look at the big picture I wonder if that boundary was ever really there. He’d make jokes about having sex with me to mutual friends but never having a relationship - hed joke that my need for comfort and emotional vulnerability was because I was a “bottom” and it’s just normal “bottom things”. I miss him so much and I want to contact him again even though everything in me is screaming that that is not the right direction. I see when he’s on Steam sometimes because we’re still friends on that platform and I can’t bring myself to unfriended him even though I unmerged our game libraries.
I miss him. I miss him so so much and I wish he could tell me that everything’s going to be ok, but I think him shoving himself back into the closet broke something so deeply about how I see him that I can’t trust his words anymore.

6 Days since I was sextorted. I don’t know if they’ve given up or are continuing to pursue me but I’ve deactivated all Meta related apps and blocked them anywhere else. What I need to understand is how they work in hopes to protect myself in the future and how to avoid them from finding me. Below is my situation:
  1. Matched Hinge, decent back and forth, I asked for socials - didn’t give insta but went to snap
  2. Snapchat; talked back and forth a little here and there - 4 days later my idiot self made the dumb mistake of sending pics after “she” sent many before
  3. I was then asked to meet up for a date and “call me let’s setup a date”. At this point I was not suspicious as it seemed genuine to follow-up. They asked for WhatsApp. I don’t have WhatsApp and don’t like it linked to my #. However, I made a google voice # just to be safe and registered with that (all on my phone fyi). I sent a message, tried calling, got disconnected and WhatsApp banned my account instantly.
  4. This was suspicious and I told “her” that it didn’t go through and that I got banned, so then I got a SMS on my google voice #. And then instantly they sent me all the videos/photos that I had sent recorded on their end and began the sextortion. At this point I was freaking out, I immediately blocked them on Snap and Hinge. Uninstalled WhatsApp. And then I continued getting messages on my Google Voice SMS. I didn’t block them here, I didn’t respond at ALL on any platforms. I just kept it in case I needed proof and SMS is generally not interactive in any way.
  5. After this, they made an instagram acct with one of my photos and posted some (thank god not all) photos and tagged some ppl from my friends list on instagram. I reported and blocked this acct. They made a second one, I reported and blocked. They made one on Facebook and started commenting on my recent posts as well as messaging ppl on my friends list trying to either befriend or share photos. I blocked the acct but I forgot to report it in the panic (idk if it’s up or not but I unblocked to see if I can get to their profile to report but I couldn’t so maybe gone?)
  6. I also received a FB messenger notification saying the usual “you want me to stop? Just tell me” etc. I had my Instagram PRIVATE before this. I was dumb enough to have FB public. Since then I updated everything to private, and then deactivated. I’ve occasionally reactivated to check for any notifications/messages. Last time I checked was 3 days ago. No new msgs since the first 2 accounts on instagram and 1 on facebook.
Question 1: Massive embarrassment aside, would I be safe to think that they’ll stop pursuing me? I’ve also updated my instagram username. But they did send me screenshots of my friends list. So will they try to find them and still attempt sextortion?
Question 2: HOW the hell did they find my instagram and facebook? Aside from my first name (which is VERY common), the usernames on Snap and Meta apps aren’t even the same?? I never gave my real number, and I didn’t give my address? This is what’s confusing the hell out of me because there is NO way in hell they just “searched” me up because friends I WANT to add me have trouble finding me.
Question 3: Will changing my Instagram username and making FB private be sufficient to not have a repeat incident? Or is it better to remove accounts and restart from scratch?
My heart literally drops when I get unknown callers and crap now, ugh I hate this and I know it’s partially my fault for even sending them but just want to move past it and make the most out of this failure in maintaining privacy moving forward. My main goal is to make sure they can’t come back and restart.

Hi there, this is a serious question I have, when I was a teen at school I got my first phone "HTC Wildfire S" it was a tiny lil thing and I loved it.
Android on that HTC Wildfire S that had a 600mhz CPU was for it's time pretty fast and responsive considering the hardware that was inside.
Today you have all the top notch stuff, true Gaming Phones with special cooling vapor chambers and 16GB RAM etc. but they feel extremely bloated for what they have inside.
If you look at the older Android versions, it looked how it looked, it was responsive, fast, no useless stuff like animations and other trash. Now using Android feels like looking at iOS except it's slower, less reliable, bloats itself after some time and becomes much slower.
There are also things that aren't very thought out, for example I have an alarm set lets say at 18:00, the tablet is without any pins etc because it has just tiktok, IG and all the other social bloat on it and it's always at home so I see no reason for having a Pin on it.
Now when the Alarm goes off at 18:00 it has that symbol I need to tap and drag so it goes off, but the same thing unlocks my tablet and it stays unlocked. Like the task at 18:00 was just alarm goes off to remind me... i turn off the alarm and it should be done. Why is it unblocking the whole Tablet and showing me the Home Screen then I need to lock it. It's a very simple little thing, but they are much more of those...
For example there is a notification led on the front screen, that blinks most of the time in bright green, at night even if you have "SLEEP MODE" means "IF NO ONE IS DYING I DON'T CARE" but the little damn led sends a green light beam into the universe like I want talk to aliens.
I got myself a Smart Watch with WatchOS (android), I bought this smart watch so I'm less on my phone and it is less annoying when cycling. I can't ditch my phone, I need to have multi sim and my phone sends again notifications to my smartwatch instead these two being two different entities.
I dislike Android more and more, the only reason why I even consider it a thing is because /e/OS exists. Sadly my Google Pixel 3A died so I need to use a normal Android.
I had many phones and I think they are all trash just because of Android, Rog Phone 4 5 6, Zenphone 10, Samsung S10, S23, Sony V1, and some others... I'm looking forward to some Linux based SmartWatch where anyone can program anything and just download an "apk" and install it, no Google bloat, no Apple

Please give me honest input on whether or not you think something is going on between my wife and a coworker.
Sep 28 I notice a doctor she works with mentioned her in a fitness type post on his Instagram story and she took the same post and mentioned him
Oct 1 She works in healthcare and randomly went to work on Sunday. She’s gone to work on Sunday before but only once or twice. During dinner, I asked her why she was going and she explained to me twice. After dinner she sent me three long texts explaining why. She dyed her hair the night prior. Morning of, I’m sleeping on the couch and she asks me to go lay in our bed so our kids know where I am. I tell her no and she gets stressed. Goes back in bedroom for a minute or so and then leaves. I lay on the couch all the time and she’s never asked me to go lay in bed. She goes to work and comes home around 11am. Nothing too unusual about how she was acting.
She stopped liking all of his viewable Instagram posts. The last one she likes is around the same date that she went in. He’s post plenty of times after and she never liked a single one.
I pay attention to coworkers Instagram stories and see he mentioned my wife about 2 or 3 times a week. Stories are always fitness related but a couple of them have 😉 in them
Feb She texts me asking if I can change my schedule so I go into the office on Saturday instead of Friday. The reason being so she can go to a conference on Friday. I ask her to call me and she won’t. Only wants to text. She said she was getting a pedicure (which was true) but when I asked her to call me she said she couldn’t since she was driving. She calls me all the time while driving so I thought it was weird. 3 minutes later, she sends me a picture of her feet in water at the pedicure place. So within 3 minutes she drove there, parked, checked in and then got her feet in the water. She finally does call me but she’s whispering but then hung up. Told me she didn’t want to fight but we weren’t even fighting. Conference is in same area of where we live. Also found out (doing a quick 30 sec search on google) that the conference ended at 1 that day. She normally gets off at 3 so there was no need for me to be home. She very organized and is not the type to not know something like this.
Feb I finally say something about the instagram interactions and her first reaction is to block me. Next day she unblocks me and said she just did that because she was mad I was “snooping.” She doesn’t block him, doesn’t unfollow him, does nothing.
I ask her how well she knows the coworker and she says “I barely talk to him.” I asked her why someone she barely talks to would randomly start mentioning her and she said it’s because he wanted to get nurses more involved with fitness. She’s the only nurse he mentioned.
A few days later, the coworker sends her an email and it has a ;-) in the subject line. Content of the email says “working on a plan for the conference (while at the gym lol) Give me a call after 8am.
I ask her about it and she tells me she’s not sure why he sent that email like that. Gives no explanation. She finally unfollows him.
March we go on vacation so this dies down a little.
Her birthday at the first part of April comes around. Her friend posts a video on her own page saying happy birthday to my wife. Her coworker makes a comment on the post saying happy birthday. Wife likes the post. Since I told her I didn’t want to see any more interactions between him and her I ask her about it and she tells me she hasn’t interacted with him. I told her she liked his comment and she then tells me “I didn’t realize I had liked it.”
She FINALLY blocks him (almost 2 months after I first said something)
She also deleted the entire message thread on Instagram between him and her.
She has said “nothing even remotely happened” and has stuck to her story. Based solely on info provided, please let me know what you all think. Please only give honest opinions and not what you think I want to hear.

Recently had a plumber callout to unblock the toilets. They were able to unblock it easily but the camera investigation showed that the drains were scaled up. They gave me a quote for a descale but it's really expensive so I'm wondering if it's something I can do myself. I've googled a few guides but idk if it's worth trying or if I should just try to get a cheaper quote instead.
Edit: As far as I can tell all the pipes are plastic. Can't see any metal ones anywhere.

I (15F) live with my parents and a younger brother (13M). For context, I have my first GCSE exam on Friday, it becomes relevant later on. I apologise for how unorganised this is, my head is all over the place at the moment.
My father is lazy, does objectively nothing to help around the house and essentially gets paid to sit on his arse all day. My mother works with disabled children and believes she's a saint for doing so. My brother is incredibly annoying, speaks fluent skibidi toilet brain rot and usually ignores my existence. Recently my mother has hit breaking point with my father's laziness and things have only gotten worse. From the age of 11, we've been expected to clean the kitchen daily - no big deal, every kid has chores.
Where I began to get annoyed was by the fact that every single day it's been me and me alone doing the job. My brother stands to the side and lets me clean everything. Before now I've tried simply doing the half he insists on me doing and then leaving (which is of course the bigger jobs that take longer to do) however, I've continuously watched him slap the crumbs off the counter with a towel and then just leave. This ends in me being yelled at because the job hasn't been done to the standard to which they expect it to be done, and when I complain that when it is done properly it's only me doing it, I get yelled at for that too - usually something like "grow up" or "when I was your age...".
To make things worse, my mother's justification that she did the same things at my age is entirely false. I have a very good relationship with my grandparents and they have time and time again told me she's lying - as has her sister who she also insists did the same jobs. According to them, her only job was to keep her room clean - she didn't even do that efficiently. This has been going on for years, but as I said, recently it's gotten much worse. In essence, my mom hates mess, but won't take any action against it. Instead, despite the fact she boasts about the fact her new job means less workload, she instead spends the time she could be using on tidying the house she hates so much on watching Harry Potter and leaving it to me.
To reduce her workload, she decided me and my brother need to do our washing, which I found fair enough until I realised I was still expected to fold the mountains of clothing she generates, which again, because my brother is so lazy and uses weaponised incompetence to an extent I never thought possible, is again entirely left to me. No matter how much I complain about just how much of the work is left to me, nothing ever changes. I was told she would take over my jobs so I could revise during exam season - this hasn't happened and I am still spending more time trying to appease my mother's stupid expectations than revising for the biology paper I sit on Friday - a subject I'm continuing at A Level.
Despite the personal choice to have not just one, but two children, she has decided I also have to fund my living on £10 a week. This includes but is not limited to shower gel, feminine hygiene, deodorant, clothes etc. This money, despite the ongoing cost of living crisis, is also supposed to fund trips with friends. This puts me in constant debt to my grandparents or friends, to the point where I've had to stop going out entirely to be able to fund my lifestyle - I don't buy expensive stuff, I simply take my hygiene very seriously, and my paranoia of being dirty or smelling bad is beginning to cost me a hell of a lot more than I believed it would.
My mom never used to be this insufferable and I fully believe it's down to her unhappy marriage. Time and time again I have begged my dad to do something to help out, but he simply believes that because he does the garden once a year he is excused from all housework - even wiping the sideboards after making breakfast, which probably takes around about 2 minutes. He's very big on meat and the keto diet which produces a lot of fat left on pans and spit around the kitchen. I'm autistic with pretty bad sensory problems and I HATE the texture of fat and having to clean it off of things, of course, this is left to me to fix again. I've asked him so often to just wipe out his plates and pans before putting them in the sink to be washed, and not once has he ever done as I have asked. This is the same man who'd yell at me in year 2 (6-7 years old) because I was too young to realise I had to scrape my food into the bin when I was done eating and I hadn't been doing so. In addition to not cleaning fat off of plates and pans, I have quite a few times cut myself on broken glass in the sink while attempting to unblock it, which no one has ever alerted me to it being there.
My mom seems unhappy in the marriage. She's googled divorce and how much it costs (£600) and complained about my dad's inherent laziness to my grandparents, her friends and my girlfriend's mother. I genuinely cannot fathom why she won't just leave him. The extent to which it impacts her mood is concerningly huge, and I'm so tired of having it taken out on me when I feel I've done nothing to deserve it.
While the responsibilities thrown upon me are a large part of my unhappiness, that's not all. Academically, I've always been ambitious, but it doesn't come naturally. Despite the work I put in, the all-nighters, easter school and tutoring have never been enough to give me a grade 9 (A++/A**). In my best subjects, I am capped at a 7 (A), and in my worst, I'm capped at 5s (Cs). While I understand that these arent bad grades and that many would be pleased by it, I have very high expectations for myself and I am never satisfied regardless of how much work I put in. Rather than helping despite the fact this has over time demotivated me to the point of depression and contemplation of ending my life as I never feel good enough, I've been met with "that's life"s and "get over it"s. Furthermore, they take great interest in my brother's life, asking how he's doing with a girl he mentioned he was into, but despite the fact they are aware of my girlfriend and that I have one, they have NEVER asked me how my life is or what my relationships are like. I get the idea that they don't care, and while I don't think it is, I think it could have something to do with my orientation (me and my girlfriend are of course in a lesbian relationship). I think this because when I have dated the opposite sex, they DO ask me about my relationships and are desperate to meet the boyfriend in question.
I don't feel I'm a bad daughter. I don't stay out late, I get academic awards (intermediate maths challenge, certificate of general academic excellence, personal postcards from teachers congratulating my work ethic etc.) and grades most parents would be delighted to hear their children are getting. I've never been a problem child, I've been caught doing something I shouldn't a total of once, I don't drink much, I've never done drugs, I'm still a virgin and am not at any risk of teen pregnancy, I do my absolute best, if not even more, and somehow despite this, I am still never enough. If anything they find small things to berate me over, such as slut shaming me for being on and off with the same two boys over a period couple of months - again, I am still a virgin, unlike MANY girls my age to the point where I am the only girl who hasn't done that at all in my whole friend group. Overall, the fact that no matter what I do is never enough for them has made me start to hate them, but they always apologise with money. My dad bought me a new bass guitar for yelling at me once, but never once has he ever said the word sorry to me, and honestly I would rather just them admit to having done something wrong or validate my feelings that I don't deserve what they give me. I know it's not huge, and I know so many people have it worse. They've never hit me and that's why I feel so ridiculous for hating them, but I'm so miserable at home and I've had so many friends tell me I can stay with them that I've seriously begun considering it. I'm desperate to move out, but with property prices in the UK that don't seem to be going down anytime soon, my only hope is surviving another 2 years and then moving into student accommodation, and I have no idea what I'll do after that.
Again, sorry for the jumbled-up mess, I just really needed to get it off my chest. I feel so unreasonable for hating them but then when I tell my friends about my home life they seem horrified as they either have absolutely nothing to do or less than a quarter of my responsibility. AITA?

Hi everyone! Be careful with N26! They blocked my account without explanation (they referred to some of their abstract rules). They blocked it along with the money and disappeared. They no longer respond to any of their emails. I Googled it and the internet is full of similar complaints. It seems that this is the bank's corporate style - from time to time they randomly block accounts and take credit for what is on them. Among other things, I found a case when, about 10 years ago, they massively blocked the accounts of a large number of clients (Germans) under the pretext that they withdrew cash from ATMs too often (and the bank suffered losses). There was a fuss in the press - the accounts were quickly unblocked. But since then, it seems that the bank has begun to do this in a targeted manner. The tricky thing is that they don’t have offices, everything is online. They cut you out of the system and keep silent! The idea, apparently, is that if the amount in the account remained relatively small, people would simply give up. For the rest, if they are persistent, so be it - they will return it, maybe! Briefly speaking! Be on the lookout if you are with them!!! And one more moment! If someone got into the same situation as me, or knows people with similar cases, tell me how to solve the problem (via what finance authorities). My research on possible solutions to the problem shows that authorities like BaFin only deal with collective complaints. It turns out, apparently, that the only thing to do is go to court! Who solved similar problems (if encountered)?

IMPORTANT DATES TO NOTE:-
16 JAN 2024- P2P TRANSACTION
16 JAN 2024- Cyber crime complain against funds received in my account
17 FEB 2024- Cybercrime sends notice to my bank to freeze my whole account
1 APRIL 2024- Bank actually blocked my account
3 APRIL 2024- Started to do everything in order to unfreeze my account
29 APRIL 2024- Cybercrime sends notice to my bank to unfreeze my account
3 MAY 2024- My account finally gets unfreezed
SO i did some transaction using rupeechanger.com and exchanged around 1.2 lakh worth of usdt from them. Now the reason i used rupeechanger.com is because they have proper kyc done on their platfrom before anyone does any p2p so naturally p2p scam shouldnt happen in this case. But on 16/1/24 i exchanged 40k worth of usdt from them and they sent me 23000+5000 (IMPS from A/C 1) and 12120 (using upi from A/C 2).
Now i was fool enough to take 3 payments for 1 exchange and that also involving 2 different accounts. So on 16/1/24 someone from TN filed a case in cybercrime for a total amount of 10,28,520 rs and the 12120 which was sent by rupeechanger.com were a part of those scammed funds. Now idk how genuine the complaint was or rupeechanger.com is scamming its users by filing fake cases idk.
It was all fine until i realised on 1st April my netflix payment failed and upi, debit card everything stopped working. so i visited bank and got to know CC (Cybercrime) has ordered bank to freeze my account from 17 Feb 2024. Now idk how my transactions passed for the month of march bec as per the order account should be freezed from 17 Feb 2024.
After getting to know my account was blocked i sent mail to TN cybercrime , TN police, Canara Bank head branch ( my bank), Canara bank home branch explaining my whole transaction to them. No one, even my Bank head branch didnt reply anything only my bank manager co operated with me whenever his help was needed sending formal letters through his mail etc...
First of all it has caused so much of mental stress for me as i live in mumbai and account was blocked by TN CC. Mumbai CC, Mumbai, Police, Bank head branch, no one would help me and told me to contact TN CC. But even after mailing TN CC, no one replied to me even after sending multiple reminders even TN police has ignored all my reminders and mails. And all the phone numbers on google are either wrong numbers or they are switched off/ non reachable.
Finally my kind bank manager gave me 1 phone number on which i called and that person gave me another number of TN police and i whatsapped him all the details of my case. Same day i get a call from TN CC regarding freeze of my account and then even after explaining them my whole transaction, in the end he said me to pay the lien/ fraud amount "if" you want to unfreeze your account.
Now the amount was only 12120rs and i could have paid the very next moment but i decided to take 10 days of time to think about and it and find some other route. After 10-12 days i decided to just f it and pay the lien/ fraud amount get out of this gutter.
on 29 APRIL 2024 i deposited 12,120 rs in the victims account ( details shared by TN CC) and share the deposit slip with TN CC over email and later also share Aadhar number upon their request. Same day TN CC sent a mail to my head branch of bank to unfreeze my account.
And on 3 MAY 2024 my account was finally unblocked.
In all of this mess i had to visit my bank 10 times, local police station 2-3 times and Mumbai CC 2 times. Also face issues with my transactions, since my account was blocked all cheques got blocked and caused serious issues for me.
yes i did some mistakes but i never thought this kind of scam would happen with me. Personally i have lost faith in whole upi system. The only time i would use upi payment and receive upi payment is from places like amazon, electricity bill, internet bill etc all formal places. To do transaction with strangers i would open a new bank account and use only that bank account as i do not trust in this whole system.
Also before paying the victim 12120 rs it was very difficult to trust TN CC as it was all over the phone. The amount of mental stress it has caused is unmatched.
FEW FACTS- 1)CANARA BANK IS SHIT
2) WHOLE SYSTEM OF BLOCKING ACCOUNTS AND INVESTIGATING IS FAVOURING SCAMMERS
3)TN CC, MUMBAI CC, MUMBAI POLICE, TN POLICE, HEAD BRANCH no one helped or co operated with me. Only my bank manager MR Abhishek Pandey ( Canara bank chembur Amar mahal branch) fully co operated with me and did everything he could from his end.
4) Cash will always be superior to any form of digital payment.
Now from my post u can understand how i had to bear so much of mental stress, had to mail so many people, had to visit so many places so many times and still had to take loss of 12120 to unfreeze my account and the person who actually scammed is enjoying while out govt is busy harassing innocent people .

So I decided to unblock my ex only to send him this text: "I actually can't believe you were sleeping with someone for most if not all of our relationship and you'd tell me that that's just your coworker. Literally had her over less than a week ago. Lol. Good to know I meant so little to you. Bye."
Then I immediately re-blocked him.
30 minutes later at 7:30pm, I received 3 phone calls from a number I didn't recognize. When I searched it on Google, his workplace popped up. I obviously didn't answer any of them.
At 10pm, there was loud knocking at my front door. I looked through the peephole and it was him. He said, "I can see you, please just let me talk." I opened the door but didn't invite him inside. I finally agreed to sit in his car with him and he began crying and said, "I can't tell you how sorry I am and how badly I fucked up. There must be something wrong with me. You are the best person I have ever met and made me so happy. All I've ever wanted to do is take care of you, I never meant to hurt you. I didn't come here to ask for you back because I know you wouldn't disrespect yourself like that. But I'm just really sorry and wish there was a way I could regain your trust. I love you so much you have no idea."
I said, "That's really a shame then. Take care." Then I got out of his car and went back to my apartment.
I also messaged his dad tonight and told him that it's over because he was seeing someone else. His dad called me right when I got back inside and he said that his son is an idiot and that I am like a daughter to him and his wife and that he wishes that his son and I could talk through it and fix things somehow. I just thanked him for all him and his wife have done for me and he said that he hopes he can still keep in touch because "Even though our son might have lost you, we don't want to lose you too." I said okay.
tl;dr: My ex showed up to my apartment tonight after I ended things. He kept apologizing and said he wishes he could regain my trust but knows that he can't and will just have to live with the consequences. He remains blocked but his parents do not.
edit: He just texted me "Can I call you, please? I'm sorry for bothering you. I'm having a hard time with the consequences of my own actions here and i'm being selfish in every way. I miss you and i'm not sure what to do without you. But you can't make this ok for me and I just need to deal with it. I should have been better and I wasn't and didn't realize any of the things I should have until it was too late." What the hell is the point of the "Block" feature when I can still receive these? Anywho, my appetite is finally starting to come back a little.

I've been doing a lot better recently. Me (19M) and my ex (19F) broke up in mid-October and I've been in no contact now for a little over 5 months. Well, recently, my ex unblocked me from social media and followed me again, viewing all of my stories. So today, I got curious and saw from my story views that she posted a story on Instagram. So I went onto my second account and looked at it, and it said happy 6 months, and it had all these pictures of her and her new boyfriend. So I did a little Google search, and 6 months ago today was November 1st . My jaw dropped to the floor because on November 20th, she came over to my house to pick up her stuff and was crying and hugged me, saying it would work out for us, and she gave me hope that she would come back while she was dating this other guy, apparently!!!!

Running a Pixel 6a. Up until recently, I have been able to use Magic Eraser without issues. Yesterday I noticed that when I tried to use Magic Eraser, a message comes up saying "Can't install more editing tools" and that an internet connection is required to install the Magic Eraser tool.
I have Google Photos blocked in the firewall. If I unblock it and try to use Magic Eraser, it asks me if I want to install the tool (internet connection required). I can proceed and then Magic Eraser will work for that one time. Every time I go to use Magic Eraser, it asks me if I want to install the tool (internet connection required).
It's like the app isn't properly installing the Magic Eraser tool and working offline. It's requiring an internet connection every time I want to use Magic Eraser. It thinks an internet connection is required, even though it's not downloading anything. Seems like a bug. I wanted to ask about it here because I don't know if it's a compatibility issue with Calyx, or simply a bug with the Google Photos app that must have come about through a recent update.
If you have a Pixel 6 or newer, and your Google Photos app is updated to the latest, please try using Magic Eraser and leave a comment to let me know if you're having the same problem or not.
