I just want to say I've bought a lot of shoes this year. I've been trying to get back in shape and stay active. I tried Brooks, New Balance, Newtons & Adidas. None of them compare to HOKA CLIFTON 9S. These shoes are the real deal. I'm a 34 year old male and I've had 2 knee surgeries on the same knee. I've thrown my back out more than once, and I've been all around very lazy since COVID. These shoes have brought me back to life, I feel like I'm walking on clouds! I've never put a pair of shoes on and started running. But when I start to move in the Cliftons I just start jogging immediately! Absolutely would tell anyone who is having problems finding a pair of shoes to give these a try.

First let me start off by saying that I loved the first game, am a couple hours into this one, and I am completely riveted and enthralled by it. The presentation, art direction, the visceral combat, the performances, I love all this about it.
However, I am somewhat shocked by what the game is and what it isn't.
Having replayed the first one in preparation for the sequel, I was reminded about how much the first game defied gaming convention. No open world to explore, no skill points or skill trees, no gear drops, inventory, loot score, no crafting. There's literally not even a menu other than the settings menu. It had a vision of a stripped down, visceral and story focused game, and it boldly stuck to that vision in defiance of what games are expected to be, and I admired that about it.
That doesn't mean the game was perfect though. It had a tendency to be overly slow and boring at points. Exploration was largely pointless aside from some extra lore, which was good, but you had to stay standing near the lorestone to hear it as if you moved to far away it would stop. And because Senua moved so slow through the environment it felt like a punishment every time you found a dead end or a lorestone was particularly long. The puzzles ranged from ok (the illusion puzzles) to actively annoying (the find the shape in the environment puzzles). The combat was good, but overly easy due to insanely huge parry and dodge windows that made Senua feel more powerful/unstoppable than fit the story, and dealing with large crowds was always awkward. None of this ruined the experience, but were opportunities to improve.
This is where my shock came in. Hellblade 2 doesn't really improve on any of the things from the first. There are still long stretches of holding the stick forward, that frequently lead to boredom. A lot of these could have been cut in 1/3 to 1/2 and not negatively impacted the experience. Exploration is exactly same with slow movement, dead end paths, and lorestones you have to stand next to, only the listening radius is even smaller this time. The puzzles aren't any better, although the shapes being highlighted in red does make them easier to find...yay I guess? The combat is improved in my mind by it's more visceral and weighty nature, but it isn't deeper.
Also, they added nothing, for good or ill. Not one new feature, action, or gameplay pillar. And the sequel is more or less the same length as the first.
I guess this is to say that I had thought that with the success of the first game and Microsoft's war chest, we'd see something. An expansion of the game's scope, a refinement of it's mechanics. Something, anything, for a bigger, bolder sequel. But no, we got the same as the first, with a new story, upgraded visuals, and more mocap.
To be clear, this doesn't make it bad, or nor worth playing. But it is strange, and I guess I was hoping for more.

The ufo is found by a farmer who calls the military, and a secret group is created to study it.
In order to keep it secret only a small number of people are allowed to know about it. It is classified at the highest level.
The ufo inspires the creation of new technologies resulting in huge amounts of money being made by the people in charge of The Program.
They find a way to classify all ufo information so only they can benefit from it.
Billions of dollars are made that only benefit certain families. These families become extremely powerful.
The technologies of the craft lead to the realization that there is something to the “Woo” aspects of ufo encounters reported by experiencers.
Studies are funded. Specifically, remote viewing is explored.
Remote viewing studies of possible futures were done using hundreds of remote viewers over the decades. There seems to be a huge problem reported starting on earth starting between 2024-2027.
Possible causes are investigated.
Solar maximum occurs in 2025.
It is determined that a massive solar flare knocks out half the world’s electricity permanently, the superpower with the lights still on attempts to take advantage and launches a massive nuclear strike on their enemies. Electromagnetically shielded missile silos survive and retaliate.
A nuclear winter sends the world into famine. When there is no food left mankind begins to eat itself. Everyone becomes food.
More secret remote viewing studies are done and repeated to confirm the timeline.
The American Elite develop a plan to survive this. Money is funneled into black budget classified special access programs, and deep underground military bases are dug. Massive secret cities connected by underground tunnels are created, costing trillions.
Scientific progress and industrial development is pushed with no regard for pollution. The world is fated to end, pollution means nothing to those who know this.
Mankind is pushed towards wage slavery, and beyond. The suffering of the non elite doesn’t matter to those in the know. From a certain point of view they’re already dead. Their lives and happiness are sacrificed for the “greater good” of allowing the Elite to survive the end of the world.
When the time comes, certain groups are saved from the end of the world. Less than 100 thousand humans are chosen. 90 percent of the people who were told they were part of the Elite and were complicit in the Program find out that they were merely pawns and are left on the surface to die with the rest of humanity.
The world ends. Horrifically.
For thousands of years the remnants of humanity, the Elite, exist underground. Radiation eventually seeps into groundwater and they begin to suffer from dna damage. In time they become monstrous in appearance. Pale skinned and weak. Resorting to genetic manipulation they attempt to survive, but in doing so much of what we consider human is lost. Emotion, compassion, and the ability to feel pain become relics of the past.
Progress is extremely slow underground. Tens of thousands of years pass before the ufos are fully understood, but when they are it is realized they offer a means to travel back in time to collect genetic samples from healthy humans.
A breeding program is created.
The subterranean future humans eventually figure out how to breed healthy generations of offspring from the most intelligent, healthy, and beautiful human specimens from the past.
In time they restore and reclaim the surface of the earth. They learn from the mistakes of the past and create a beautiful, balanced and healthy ecosystem and develop an enlightened society that lasts for millions of years, eventually spreading to hundreds of worlds beyond earth.
At some point someone decides it would be better if the destruction of earth had never happened. They illegally go back in time to try and change the timeline.
Changing the timeline would result in millions of years worth of humans that existed after the “world ended” being wiped from existence. It is decided that this would be highly inappropriate.
The humans of the past, us, made our choices of our own free will. It is decided that there will be no interference in the timeline. Temporal Laws are created. WW3 will occur as recorded.
A defense network of small orbs, spherical shaped ufos are created to defend the integrity of the timeline. All illegal time ships are intercepted by the orb defense network, as is recorded in many old ufo photographs.
Time ships are legally sent back to verify that nuclear weapons can be turned on or off at the appropriate time to result in the correct end of the world happening.
The Elite eventually discern the intentions of the future humans from their temporal incursions into our time, they learn the fate of humanity and understand the results of The Program by interrogating captured occupants of downed ufos, and so they develop a strategy to alter this outcome.
The intent of this secondary project is to avoid attracting the attention of the orb defense network and use their limited understanding of ufo technology to prevent the full destruction of the earth in WW3, while still destroying all of their enemies.
If successful, there will still be a full collapse of current society, billions of deaths, but in time the Elite families will rise from their holes in the earth in their “primitive” ufo reproduction vehicles and claim to be Gods that have returned to earth in order to lead mankind into a better future.
Pyramids and temples will be built. A religion formed. And populations will be continually culled to prevent anyone from ever gaining enough scientific knowledge to overthrow the “Gods.”
But the advanced future humans from the other timeline had a contingency plan. AI drone ships were concealed outside of 4d space-time. Free from timeline alterations.
These drones patrol multiple Earth timelines searching for anomalous temporal activity.
The two largest enemies of the American Elite in our current time, Russia and China, get wind of the situation.
They begin to shoot down ufos and plan their own contingencies to survive the end of the world.
Their countries laws make it easier for them to do unethical experiments. Many horrific things are created through genetic experimentation and unrestrained AI development.
China loses control of an AI that disappears into the past with a ufo and a small army of insect/human hybrids. They move out well beyond the patrol zone of the 6th dimensional AI contingency drones and travel deep into the past.
On distant worlds billions of years ago the AI “Queen” begins its plan and starts to quietly populate worlds with its insectoid mantid servants.
In time there are multiple schisms that occur within the hive. War breaks out between the various insectoid groups.
The ancient universe begins to fill with problems.
Billions of years later, primitive humans in 10,000 BCE look to the sky and see ufos. They wonder who could be piloting them. They dream up new gods as the seeds of civilization begin to appear.

Based on the picture above, I chose 6 characters who could define the whole genre of X-Men and have them lead their respective team. Since, there is too many teams to talk about, u can ask me in the comments. Every group has a minimum of 6 members with a max of 8. The bolded text represents the leader of the respective grouping. To summarize as short as possible, Storm's group are the diplomats of X-Men. They represent themselves as the politicians of the X-Men while maintaining safety of the earth like floods, etc. Amity here is Benjamin Deeds; I think his likeability power would suit best here. Since there is a growing distrust within the X-Men and S.W.O.R.D, they decided to form their own cosmic team with Nightcrawler as its head. This team function to establish communication with alien civilizations, in purpose of creating a community and rapport. That is where Cypher's power comes in handy. Polaris' magnetism can be extremely useful when moving tech parts in space. I added Cerise for Kurt's romantic interest. Basically, this book is about Kurt and his team venturing in space and defend the earth from extraterrestrial attacks. Now, with Jean Grey, got to be honest, don't really know what I'm doing here but to extrapolate my thought decision, this team became the guardian of X-Men who works on a similar level like Thor. They represent themselves among other Godly beings to have a voice for the sake of mutant kind. Say, an entity similar to the progenitor comes to condemn mutant kind, this team will work to prove the number of good mutants can contribute, hoping to outweigh the chaos that has been previously caused. Next, Emma's group handles the financial matters and works to improve the perception of mutants amongst society, and because it's Emma, she did it in a questionable method. My concept is this, she built a company popular enough to attract many attentions, while having the founder be her proxy. Her proxy would be recognized as the mutant who successfully launch products that help society in many ways. This way, she gets to work in distance while being confined to her, monitoring the crowd's perception and its reviews. At the risk of being sabotaged, the threat that is yet to come will only follow the proxy instead of Emma. This company is also her way to misdirect the actual business that she was dealing with and to use it to her benefit if things went awry. Morph's shape shifting ability would make this Emma's proxy while both Kitty and Tommy would be her personal agent who's able to watch Morph's activity close by from those who wish to harm Morph who's disguising as Emma's proxy. Quicksilver's speed can come in handy if she needs to hide some evidence that would ruin her story. Astonishing X-Men featuring Wolverine is the public hero team of the X-Men who sometimes collaborate with the Avengers. If SHIELD or an Avenger were to discuss matters with the X-Men, they can only answer to Wolverine's team instead of Cyclops. I'm adding Nocturne to his team because I like her. Finally, Cyclops's being the radical bunch of them all will pave the way for mutant kinds and his X-Men. His team is equipped with a teleporter, psychic, an expendable fighter, and tank. His team is the kind that deals head on with the villains, negotiating affairs and if the opposition were to strike global terror, he simply requests his Extinction team that features Pryor to combat massive threat. If he needs a black ops team, he simply calls upon the X-Force. I believe many of u are familiar with this function groups, except I'm changing the concept for Hellions and Marauders Scott leaves the Hellions' team featuring Rogue as his wild card. Scott's strategic method will always be played out in the storyline but if things ever not come his way, he leaves it to the Hellions who's able to outplay destiny. This team is as if Irene and Mystique form this group to aid their secret mission except, I'm using Blindfold for her precognition ability and Copycat's shape shifting ability. I added Deadpool because he's random and unpredictable at times, perfect for a wild card team. This is just the concept, the rest I'll leave it to the writers :) As for Marauders, remember the time when they send 3 expendable mutants to the Children of the Vault to gather intel, so yea this is based on them except I'll have Sam leading the team, accompanied by his best friend Sunspot and Darwin's survival ability. I had mesh hernia repair in my mid-abdominals almost a year ago. five months after surgery one of my incisions opened up, giving me another hernia at the belly button region. I live an active lifestyle into bodybuilding but also now raft guiding have had this slight rubbing sensation on my left side of repair on occasion for a few months, but that seems more prevalent now that I’m raft guiding and doing more transverse abdominal work unintentionally. My original hernia site also pops out about the size of a golf ball when putting any pressure on my abs I haven’t been doing direct at work, but It will pop out when I’m doing things that just require my abbs for stability like tricep push downs definitely have that distasi recti a condition my surgeon didn’t inform me of and I wish I knew before I got the original surgery. Just curious if this sounds like mesh dislocation/somewhat of a lack of adhesion or just moving the mesh in a way that’s it’s not meant to do. Also did try to talk to my surgeon about how it would look cosmeticly and he just laughed and blew me off saying that “he promised to make me sexy”. Obviously he did nothing to the shape of my abbs and left the same divot in my right, middle abdominal that was there before, so essentially, he just stretched the facia. Probably doesn’t look as bad in the picture because I’m flexing my abs in a way to not make it look like my right abdominal’s are floating on the side of my fucking stomach lol. Want complete reconstruction at this point because I hate to look at it but not really feasible because it will put me out of work at the moment. First pic pre surgery second mid bulk a few months later and current cut.

heyo, im 20F, just finished my bachelor's degree. this has been on my mind for a long time, 5 years to be precise. i feel like life just never happened for me. all the "life is over at 25" rhetoric made me realise ill be 21 in a little less than 5 months, and my life never even STARTED. i was a happy kid for the most part. sure, there were problems, i had moderate to severe asthma for about five years from 2-7, parents' unhappy marriage meant some terrible fights that i remember witnessing even as early as the age of 3, a small house (which ive now lived in all my life), very much a middle class household without too much money. but none of this really mattered too much back then, except the health part of it because obviously it directly affected me. ive always been good at studies, i was a talkative kid who was on good terms with almost everyone on school and had a few close friends every year, went on a lot of trips with my parents that we did enjoy, had some great times w my grandmother. i wouldn't say life was perfect, but it was simple and good.
the trouble started with my mom being kind of conservative when it came to befriending boys, which meant i always was shy and silent around guys, even though I was very much different around girls. a related issue (very much brought on by my mom) caused me to leave my friend group in the sixth grade, and after that honestly things were never the same. it was also around the same time that my friends from my society, who honestly were never good people OR friends anyway, also started bullying me for no reason at all. still even with a few too many traumatic experiences at home, school and the building, 11-13 was bearable because i was still a happy go lucky kid. since i turned 13, what with bullying in school, both physical and mental health problems (pcos, asthma, health anxiety, crippling depression) , family issues (remember the unhappy marriage?), being stuck in the same house and financial condition all my life, things seem to be irreparably screwed up. the other side of this is i missed out on EVERYTHING. every positive experience that people have between the age of 11 and 21, I missed out on. sure there's things i missed out on even before then, not being able to play downstairs like everyone else as a kid because of my asthma being an example, but those weren't things i WANTED in the first place. everything since 8th grade however.... god it's been hell. because of the asthma i couldn't do physical activity, so my weight always fluctuated, altho as a kid i was thin for longer than i was fat. but of course when puberty hit so did pcos, and i was overweight for almost all my teenage years. this along with me never knowing or wanting to put on make up meant i was quite unattractive as a teenager, and so had absolutely no romantic attention from anyone ever. only 3 people have had a crush on me in my (almost) 21 years of life. i lost a lot of weight this past year (on medical advice) and now that im better looking i see random guys look at me in public, and of course that means nothing now, because they wouldn't even have glanced at me a year ago. the friend scenario is just as hopeless, and not just because i happen to be going though a friendless phase for the past 8-10 months lol. at the moment i no longer have anyone from school that i consider a friend, and college is shaping up to be very similar with a couple exceptions.
the worst thing is i no longer have anything to show for academically either, and this coming from someone who had a 99.6% in her 12th boards lol. college was just a failure on every level, social, academic, EVERY LEVEL. and it was supposed to be a fresh start after 8-12th grade. made no real lasting friendships, didn't network, no real extra curriculars, didn't go away so no memories from hostel life, no parties or clubs, really nothing. truly, truly nothing.
ive had this vision in my head for the past 6-7 years of what i want my life to be like. that's one third of my life so far. and i still haven't achieved 1% of it. hell ive achieved 0%. i honestly don't know how i could end up as utter a failure as this. the worst thing is i've got so much potential, i really really do. and now it's all for nothing. the 'best years of my life' are gone, with no memories, no accomplishments, nothing. i must've written 1000 words here and that honestly barely scratches the surface of the past 10 years. i wish i could go back in time so bad. if I was 11 again i know exactly what id do, but at 20 i have no clue. i can't even decide about doing a master's degree, one that ive received an offer letter for and which ive always wanted to do. god i hate my life, and I'm so ashamed of myself. i don't expect anyone to read this far but if you do, id love some perspective.

I ran into an issue which I think comes from the order in which Desmos decides to process things. A_2 modifies the history of points, (P are the exact values, B are the buckets they belong to). I expected that I could activate A_2 immediately after A_1 and it would work fine, but it doesn't. The two pictures below demonstrate the different behaviour. What is causing this? The histogram still approaches the correct distribution so I was wondering if it was just randomising it again after it added the values to the lists. A_2 directly follows from A_1 A_2 is activated manually after A_1 |

I’m also a gymnast, nearly made it to team GB before but I got injured and lost my chance. Hopefully will get back there this year though 🙏

Hey guys After a meeting w my dr yesterday, I’m swapping from Wellbutrin XL to Lexapro after over a year because it wasn’t getting me where I need to be I was prescribed 10 MG to start. I’m wondering what the more common side effects are and what to look out for. I’m also pretty active, like to walk and hike but I also go to the gym three times a week. 6 foot tall male 198 lbs and in shape Keep seeing a lot of people post about major weight gain which is turning me off wanting to start tomorrow. Also, will it affect my love life? I like to be active. Very nervous to start these based off the horror stories here that I’m reading. Looking to manage my PTSD while I start therapy with these but am reallllly not wanting to start these meds now.
