Hello. My husband, mother, and 1-year-old daughter have a 24-hour layover in Dublin in mid-June. Obviously, we won't be able to see much of the city in that little time, but would love any input on favorites for first-timers in Ireland.

- Stay - We would like to stay somewhere within walking distance or a short pubic transit ride to city sights. Right now our top contender is the Iveagh Garden Hotel. I would prefer a quaint Bed & Breakfast/Guesthouse over a big hotel, but have had trouble finding one. We would like our accommodations to be nice/clean, but by no means do we need anything luxurious. We hope to spend no more than $500 for either 1 large room for our group or 2 small rooms. If you know of anything that fits this bill, please share!
- My mother is a weaver and loves textiles. Any museums, yarn shops, or textile shops that are a must?
- On a different note - what time do folks recommend getting to the Dublin airport for an international flight? I have read that lines can be horrendous, but I am not sure if those comments were mostly from pandemic times.

Some thoughts occurred to me about the members of Constellation and Unity. This is absolutely going to be filled with massive spoilers. Every member of Constellation plays an important role in the story and has interesting ramifications.
The members of Constellation, ignoring Vasco, include Matteo, Vladimir, Noel, Walter, and the four companions Sarah, Barrett, Sam, and Andreja. Bethesda has given us a deliberate cross-section of the Settled Systems population. You have the former Crimson Fleet pirate, the Akila scion, the Va'ruun agent, the former UC officer, the Freestar industrialist, the Universalist religious guy, the scientist, and the "rogue." Actually, let's not ignore Vasco. The role of AI in this game is VERY ominous in a lot of ways, so Vasco may someday have more of a role than just "companion without strong opinions or personality."
The non-companion members are pretty non-intrusive, though Walter does have a field mission. I suspect that if you're going to have a talent like Armin Shimerman, you want to give him something to work on. Every time I see the interaction between Walter and his wife Issa, I want to find somebody who thinks the writing in this game is bad and hit them with a water balloon filled with maple syrup. Going back to the end-game topic, though, Walter serves as a perfect example of the biggest practical drawback of going through the Unity. He doesn't want to jump because he is rich, and going through means you lose ALL your stuff. It's a pretty sound thing to have somebody call this out explicitly for the player so they don't jump and be like, "wait, where's my customized starship filled with loot?"
Noel and Matteo are interesting in terms of their role. They very much serve as the sounding boards for the scientific and spiritual aspects of the artifacts, temples, and the Unity. Neither of them want to jump because they still have things to do. At first, my impression of them was that they were pretty much pointless once you learn what's really going on with the Starborn. I've reconsidered that, because we very much know what is happening, but not how or why. Ultimately, Noel and Matteo may be the most sensible members of Constellation by knowing what they don't yet know and refusing to leap into the unknown just because an angelic or demonic space dude with super powers tells you to do so.
Vladimir is unfortunately the quest-giver of the group. He's key to sending you along to the artifacts and temples...and the fact that you have to keep going back to him is a common complaint because it gets a little tedious. His role as the quest-giver also tends to overshadow his background with the Crimson Fleet, which I think is a missed opportunity when you're working for SysDef and infiltrating them. Vladimir Sall is the perfect example of an interesting premise that for some reason has largely been relegated to just being one of the mechanics of the game. He has some interesting things to say and a house you can visit, but I can't help but see him as a missed opportunity.
Now we have the four human companions, and it's interesting to me that they divide neatly into two categories. You have Sarah and Barrett on one side and Sam and Andrea on the other. What do I mean by that?
Sarah and Barrett are the most engaged in the Starborn world. Barrett can actually get powers and the Emissary turns out to be a version of Sarah (I did say MAJOR spoilers, didn't I?). What's really interesting, though, is that both of their companion quests are about dealing with the past. Sarah is dealing with the aftermath of her fighting in the war, while Barrett is dealing with the loss of his husband. They're trying to get closure. They have things they need to finish up before going on their next big adventure. They're also both somewhat disconnected from others. Sarah isn't really close with her surviving parent and she doesn't want any of the other members of Constellation at her wedding. Barrett travels alone with a robot and has since the death of his husband. Even the combat in their companion quests involves fighting alien animals rather than other people (because fighting is a form of engagement). The two of them are pretty much setting themselves up to be ready to move on.
Sam and Andreja are in the opposite situation. Sam's companion mission is about dealing with his ex-wife and daughter. Andreja's is about her relationship with her people (and is blatantly left on a cliff-hanger for DLC). In both of their quests, you are fighting other people -- syndicate thugs or zealots -- because both of these characters are still actively involved in this universe. Sure, indications are that both will eventually jump (assuming they survive), but neither of them is ready to move on at this point. Their acceptance of you jumping even seems a little forced to me, like they're agreeing solely for reasons of plot.
What I wonder about is whether or not this dichotomy with the companions was deliberate. You have a male and a female who need closure and are ready to jump and you have another male and female who are very much still actively engaged in life in this universe. Was the idea to give players a romance option with the preferred gender and perspective combination?
I have a sneaking suspicion that a tremendous amount of effort went into crafting the members of Constellation. Even if you find them annoying, I would suggest playing at least a few universes straight with them and seeing what they have to say. It's great that Bethesda gives you the option to ignore them, but there is a lot built up around them and I have to wonder how the eventual "resolution" of the whole Starborn premise may play into what we learn in our first play-through.

Help! I just finished the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and I'm not sure what to read next! I have recently read and enjoyed her other two series, Crescent City and ACOTAR, as well as: The Ending Fire Trilogy (Saara El-Arifi), Aurora's Angel (Emily Noon), Priory of the Orange Tree & A Day of Fallen Night (Samantha Shannon). I'm planning to read Samantha Shannon's The Bone Season series, but I'm waiting for the 10th anniversary editions to come out. I like a bit of romance but it's not required. Any suggestions?

Ive dropped her as a companion, traveled with others and nothing. I've traveled with her for multiple missions and nothing.
I broke up with her and recommited and nothing.
So ive pretty much given up on marrying both of them. But I moved on and have them both in relationships after persuading andreja to stay with me.
My question is if I marry sarah will andreja leave me? Is it just another persuasion? Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'm pretty pissed since I restarted the game specifically to marry both of them but I'm pretty sure this bug isn't going to make it possible. But if I can marry sarah and still have andreja than I guess it'll be alright.

- Sarah — For her to be gone so early, she made such an impact here and just in general. She was constantly being dragged for everything, (some deserved ngl) but she never gave up and always kept the girls on their toes. With other girls it’s clear the wolfpack did not feel threatened, but when it came to Sarah I think there was different energy. I wish Sarah had been there longer just to be able to see how Janelle and Hailey got treated because I’m sure Sarah would’ve whooped some ass. Sarah is honestly one of my all-time favorites and this season is the spawn of greatness.
- Janelle — This is my bitch; even when she was dead wrong being a hateful bitch I was laughing because I just love her so much. Not once did I agree with anything the ratpack did to her or even why they were mad, because I think that it’s obvious that they just wanted to make TV and she was the only viable option. I always have a bias towards the pretty girls though, and this season they were definitely Janelle and Hailey, so they get extra points from me. Also… when it came to her wigs I never got the impression that hers looked cheap or crunchy, so that just felt like bs coming from some of those bitches. Janelle is definitely top 5 girls all time for me.
- Hailey — I am so mad that they made her the final replacement, because she was so fucking entertaining. Her attitude, her humor, her phone calls with her mother, it was all amazing. I do think had she been there from the start it’s clear she would’ve probably fallen right in with the wolfpack, but she didn’t. (thankfully.) Her jumping was so weird and probably the most fucked up part of the entire season, but she had Jaz hating hard… If she had been put on another season like 14 I think she would’ve been a highlight. THE TWERKING AFTER GETTING JUMPED HAD ME WEAK.
- Andrea — Clearly she had an alcohol problem and was clearly having a panic attack in the house, there was nothing to hate about her at all. When she switched up on Janelle I wasn’t even mad because clearly they both were just sort of stuck with each-other because of the house dynamics and the feeling was mutual. I do think her feelings of her being next were somewhat justified, because it’s clear that she was the next most isolated from the four and it’s not like the girls would’ve just been kumbaya-ing it to the end with the six of them. She was another entertaining character on the season.
- Mercedies — Benzie was a little flip-floppy, but I think that’s mainly why I did like her. This season had a heavy group-mentality, and at least Benzie having moments of acknowledging her wrongs and the wrongs of the others was refreshing when everyone else was giving half-assed apologies. Her friendship with Andrea and her crying over Andrea’s departure made me like her a lot more, as well as her treatment of Hailey after the jumping. For a replacement that came in somewhat late, she was alright.
- Tiana — Although she was one of the girls who was most active of the four, she was at least interesting enough for me to tolerate her. It felt like every fight she had she kinda didn’t give a fuck afterwards, but then because of the other girls she would keep on with her bullshit. Outside of fighting she honestly did seem somewhat humble too, which I did appreciate considering otherwise she was just a whole bitch. Out of the four, she was definitely my favorite just for this reason.
- Shanae — I don’t really know how to feel about Shanae, because as bad as her treatment got towards the end it sort of felt inevitable. She did seem annoying to me and I do think her moping was kinda weird even though I don’t think that would’ve made me get active like the rest of the girls did. I think if Shanae hadn’t immediately jumped on the Janelle hating bandwagon as soon as she arrived I would’ve at least had that appreciation for her, but she so clearly wanted to be liked by the other girls. She was a good addition to the season but personally… I probably would’ve fought her and apologized later.
- Teresa — I thought she was fine, but I was so lost and confused once she left and the girls acted like it was the end of the world, because I sort of assumed that she was just there and was just another expendable number. It’s clear she didn’t really care for the girls at first, literally staying home with Tess on night one, so when she jumped into their crew after Tess left it was just like… oh okay. She kinda had no presence throughout the season and I feel like once she was gone she kinda became more relevant with the wolfpack constantly acting like fighting Janelle would avenge Teresa. Teresa trying to jump Janelle is what really made me realize I just don’t care for her, and when they said she needed to leave I was somewhat shocked but also at peace with it. She was just kinda… a non factor.
- Stephanie — She was just boring herself, not really doing anything ever that made me like her, and then her attitude when it came to the other girls outside of the four was so… non-existent. She was fighting bitches that we had never seen her even interact with one-on-one, and when she finally did pop off on Shanae, it was just like… okay… she’s doing something. Honestly, I found myself hating on her the most because she literally contributed nothing good to the season at all.
- Tess — Nothing to talk about cause why did she come and also… bffr why was she casted. Her entire presence was weird to me and when she left I was like… glad we dodged this bullet. I could tell that had she stayed it just would’ve been some uncomfortable shit cause she in general was clearly sensitive and not prepared.
- Milyn — Literally so annoying. Once she was gone there was nothing to be missed. Sarah absolutely said everything I was thinking at the photoshoot when she brought up how annoying the constant celebrity name dropping was getting. I will say that even though she was so fucking annoying throughout her entire run, her being so unapologetic and standing on business with Sarah and even production once she was asked to leave was giving bad bitch, so she can at least have that. But yeah… glad she won’t be at the reunion.
- Gina — I think if I was friends with Gigi I would enjoy her, but along with Jaz she was probably the other worst when it came to jumping. She would always pipe the fuck up and try to involve herself, and once she got up trying to jump Shanae— especially after Stephanie told her not to— she really pissed me off and I gave up liking her. The only time I even somewhat liked her was when she came out to talk to Andrea before she left, but even that was more Andrea’s appreciation that made me reconsider. Janelle sneaking that bitch is probably the best moment of the entire season because god she needed to be punked the fuck out and humbled.
- Jazmone — Even with the wolfpack through the season, I tried to like her because she did genuinely seem friendly and fun to be around. (If she wasn’t being a punk ass bitch!) But especially towards the end of the season, she was absolutely one of the worst in the house when it came to jumping because every opportunity she could this noodle ass bitch was SPRINTING to involve herself. The last two episodes were when I really realized that when people talk about her being one of the worst bad girls, they are so right. Lamest bitch I have seen in any season yet.

I wanted to try out the Kid Stuff trait when entering a new NG+ but I’m not sure what triggers meeting your variant’s parents or if it’s possible to use it if either Constellation members are all dead or if you skip the main mission.
Most of the posts I find say it is triggered after the 2nd main story quest involving a note from Noel and creates an activity to meet your parents. It looks like some folks have taken the variant of you found at the Lodge to meet their parents and I know you are forced to skip the main quest then.
In my case I ran into evil Andreja at the Lodge and Constellation is all dead. I have no activities to meet them and going to their building doesn’t let you trigger the elevator. Is it possible to find the other you’s parents in that case? I’m on XBOX.
UPDATE: In a vanilla new universe if skipping the main mission the quest to meet my parents appeared right after telling Sarah I was Starborn and I flew to the Eye before I even docked to talk to Vladimir. I reloaded my evil Andreja save, got the artifacts and went to the Eye and it didn’t trigger. Ethel (Essence of Thought) has made yet another video on Rachel Oates, accusing her of "promoting far right and anti-feminist figures". Said people are: Rationality Rules, Thomas Westbrook, Rose of Dawn, Sarah Michel, Noel Plum, Nervardia, Telltale Atheist, King Crocoduck, Jimmy Snow.
In the segment about Rationality Rules, Ethel goes back to 2018 for his words and actions, rehashing the ENTIRE inciting incident that started her whole obsession with Rachel in the first place.
The Westbrook section is about drama also from way back when and includes a guy named Friedel or whatever who went after Ethel in some way which Westbrook defended or excused. Ethel claims that next they could be going after someone without her support structure and that person could then take their own life. She loves painting herself as a hero. And the issue with Rachel here is that she accused Ethel of weaponizing self-harm. Somehow this means she's defending Westbrook and "by extension, Friedel", as if she's supposed to be hyper-aware of any association anyone she herself is associated with has. And of course Rachel had the gall to link to Westbrook in the description of a video. In 2019.
Rose of Dawn was back in 2019 making videos and being openly a transmedicalist and opposed to non-binary people. That deserves to be called out (I looked and she doesn't seem to have uploaded on YouTube for about two years so I don't know if her views might have changed). The association with Rachel is that back when Ethel and Rachel were clashing in 2019, Rose of Dawn was one of several people (many of them trans) who called Ethel out for going too far after Rachel posted a video where she had self-harmed and begged Ethel to leave her alone (she took that video down quickly). Ethel calls Rose of Dawn a "token trans person" who rushed to Rachel's side, which yes, Rose, did, because she saw a non-binary trans person acting like an asshole and probably figured she could get views out of it by criticizing Ethel's actions. Rachel and Rose had drinks once and Rachel recommended people check Rose's content out in a video from February 2020, which wasn't even a year after the big blow-up. People pointed out the issues with Rose's content to Rachel at the time and she pinned a comment on that video that she regretted including Rose after learning more. Ethel's avatar smirks smugly when she points out of Rachel said that she doesn't want to "accidentally" promote transphobia. Ethel decides that Rachel must have known that Rose was a bigot yet "chose to lie".
Yes, we're still talking about events from 2020. We've moved on half a year in the timeline and Ethel's still talking as if this is up-to-date drama. Has no one changed her wall calendar for four years? Rose of Dawn isn't even making videos anymore.
There's a screenshot of Rachel saying (supposedly in 2022) that she used to like Blaire White's personality but doesn't agree with her views or politics, to compare it to the Rose situation. Ethel defines Blaire's personality as "terrorizing trans people", so that must mean Rachel agrees with that.
We go back to the Rose of Dawn thing when Rachel said she regretted promoting Rose's content, and Ethel continues to act as if this is current happenings. Then Ethel shows screenshots of Twitter posts where people were talking to Rachel about Rose's harmful views in December 2019. So about two or three months away from the recommendation video. Blahblah, "Rachel Oates only retracted when her brand was threatened which is all she cares about", then we go to a Christmas livestream from 2023 where the transphobia from the BBC was mentioned and Rachel didn't react strongly enough. "Doesn't surprise me at this point, it's not great, is it?" And then apparently Rachel must be lying about not having read the articles on BBC transphobia. We switch to Ethel complaining about copyright complaints Rachel files against EoT videos because in a video Ethel made about Lily Cade, Rose of Dawn and Rachel Oates there was discussion of a transphobic BBC article, and since Rachel filed a legal complaint she apparently "felt familiar enough" with the video so she must absolutely be aware of the BBC. The BBC article mentioned in the video was from 2021 or thereabouts, the livestream from 2023. And then Ethel has a screenshot of a community post Rachel made where the timestamp says "1 minute ago", but sure, you're not obsessed at all.
"Oates not only knows of, but is, in my mind, complicit in helping the BBC bury the fact that they promoted a self-confessed serial rapist by having our video blocked in the UK, the very same UK where the BBC operates. Oates not only knows about the BBC's violence against trans people - she, in my mind, has made herself a part of that very violence", and then Ethel talks about seeing similarities between Rachel and people who defend their friends who are rapists.
Sarah Michel is another trans person Ethel calls a "token trans person", this one apparently belongs to Rationality Rules the way Ethel talks about her. Screenshot of a video by Sarah from 2019 where she's against hate speech laws. A definition of hate speech, and then "This tells you anything you need to know about Michel before we get to anything in 2019". Sarah Michel and Noel Plum tweeted at each other to insult Ethel, and Rachel had the gall to thank Sarah Michel in the same video description she thanked the other mentioned people, because surely she must have seen that twitter thread.
Noel Plum asserted that Ethel doesn't experience discrimination and Ethel talks about some of her experiences and how changing her gender marker could impact her spousal visa and marriage. Which, yes, shitty. But it culminates in Ethel saying that the atheist community demanded that she, a CSA survivor (which yes she points out), should be more like Jimmy. Has a bad taste in hindsight especially, given what we know about Jimmy's habit of using his audience as a dating app. But apparently Rachel is partly at fault and enabled Jimmy to get to that point. In the segment about Rationality Rules, Ethel goes back to 2018 for his words and actions, rehashing the ENTIRE inciting incident that started her whole obsession with Rachel in the first place.
The Westbrook section is about drama also from way back when and includes a guy named Friedel or whatever who went after Ethel in some way which Westbrook defended or excused. Ethel claims that next they could be going after someone without her support structure and that person could then take their own life. She loves painting herself as a hero. And the issue with Rachel here is that she accused Ethel of weaponizing self-harm. Somehow this means she's defending Westbrook and "by extension, Friedel", as if she's supposed to be hyper-aware of any association anyone she herself is associated with has. And of course Rachel had the gall to link to Westbrook in the description of a video. In 2019.
Rose of Dawn was back in 2019 making videos and being openly a transmedicalist and opposed to non-binary people. That deserves to be called out (I looked and she doesn't seem to have uploaded on YouTube for about two years so I don't know if her views might have changed). The association with Rachel is that back when Ethel and Rachel were clashing in 2019, Rose of Dawn was one of several people (many of them trans) who called Ethel out for going too far after Rachel posted a video where she had self-harmed and begged Ethel to leave her alone (she took that video down quickly). Ethel calls Rose of Dawn a "token trans person" who rushed to Rachel's side, which yes, Rose, did, because she saw a non-binary trans person acting like an asshole and probably figured she could get views out of it by criticizing Ethel's actions. Rachel and Rose had drinks once and Rachel recommended people check Rose's content out in a video from February 2020, which wasn't even a year after the big blow-up. People pointed out the issues with Rose's content to Rachel at the time and she pinned a comment on that video that she regretted including Rose after learning more. Ethel's avatar smirks smugly when she points out of Rachel said that she doesn't want to "accidentally" promote transphobia. Ethel decides that Rachel must have known that Rose was a bigot yet "chose to lie".
Yes, we're still talking about events from 2020. We've moved on half a year in the timeline and Ethel's still talking as if this is up-to-date drama. Has no one changed her wall calendar for four years? Rose of Dawn isn't even making videos anymore.
There's a screenshot of Rachel saying (supposedly in 2022) that she used to like Blaire White's personality but doesn't agree with her views or politics, to compare it to the Rose situation. Ethel defines Blaire's personality as "terrorizing trans people", so that must mean Rachel agrees with that.
We go back to the Rose of Dawn thing when Rachel said she regretted promoting Rose's content, and Ethel continues to act as if this is current happenings. Then Ethel shows screenshots of Twitter posts where people were talking to Rachel about Rose's harmful views in December 2019. So about two or three months away from the recommendation video. Blahblah, "Rachel Oates only retracted when her brand was threatened which is all she cares about", then we go to a Christmas livestream from 2023 where the transphobia from the BBC was mentioned and Rachel didn't react strongly enough. "Doesn't surprise me at this point, it's not great, is it?" And then apparently Rachel must be lying about not having read the articles on BBC transphobia. We switch to Ethel complaining about copyright complaints Rachel files against EoT videos because in a video Ethel made about Lily Cade, Rose of Dawn and Rachel Oates there was discussion of a transphobic BBC article, and since Rachel filed a legal complaint she apparently "felt familiar enough" with the video so she must absolutely be aware of the BBC. The BBC article mentioned in the video was from 2021 or thereabouts, the livestream from 2023. And then Ethel has a screenshot of a community post Rachel made where the timestamp says "1 minute ago", but sure, you're not obsessed at all.
"Oates not only knows of, but is, in my mind, complicit in helping the BBC bury the fact that they promoted a self-confessed serial rapist by having our video blocked in the UK, the very same UK where the BBC operates. Oates not only knows about the BBC's violence against trans people - she, in my mind, has made herself a part of that very violence", and then Ethel talks about seeing similarities between Rachel and people who defend their friends who are rapists.
Sarah Michel is another trans person Ethel calls a "token trans person", this one apparently belongs to Rationality Rules the way Ethel talks about her. Screenshot of a video by Sarah from 2019 where she's against hate speech laws. A definition of hate speech, and then "This tells you anything you need to know about Michel before we get to anything in 2019". Hello! I have been researching the Brown family, trying to find more information about them. I recently got the marriage record of William Brown and Helen Conway. They were married in Camden County, NJ, in 1872. According to the record, William's parents are listed as Samuel Brown and Mary Gladhill (?).
I also found a 1900 U.S. Census record with Samuel Brown as the head of the household, with a wife named Mary (born 1843) and five children: William (born 1872), William (born 1877), Mary (born 1879), Sarah (born 1881), and Bertha (born 1886). I am not entirely sure if this is the correct family, but the birth date for William in June 1872 closely matches the date I have for June 1871. Any would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

For a bit of context I’m nearly 18 and my cousin(I’ll call her lily) is 15 she’s my favorite human on earth I’ll do anything for her
Then there’s my aunts two of them in particular I’ll call the older sarah (30)and the younger Emily (mid 20s idk) and my grandma (mid 60s) and my lily’s mom (I have no idea honestly she might be younger than my father or older idk her) She’s not in the pic cuz my grandma kicked her out when she run away with a man and then came back pregnant (not my cousins dad) Me and my lily and auntie Sarah’s child 9m lived together my dad emigrated to Europe in 2014 so I lived with them
In my childhood me and lily had sibling rivalry yk the normal stuff but auntie Sarah would take it out of context and twist it wayyy to much but aunt Emily was kinda aight I mean she didn’t hurt us physically but she watched when aunt Sarah did
I honestly with my whole heart believe that they went easy on me (it was NOT EASY but it was compared to what happend to lily) because my dad was the one providing Right know I didn’t talk to them for over two months and I’m glad and sad
Sad because I don’t get to talk to my cousin much
Glad because I don’t have to listen them complain how hard it was for auntie Sarah to clean the house (aunt Emily got married and moved out in 2021) and because also they started having contact with my bio mom She called me late 2023 because she was sick and wanted to meet her daughter one last time in case she died but she wanted money from my dad so that’s that I cut contact with her mid march because she wouldn’t stop body shaming me and praising her daughter (half siblings idk their ages) That day I told her I’ll call her next Sunday and told dad if he ever makes me talk to to her I’ll make sure she cries haven’t heard from her since except when my stepmom told me she still talks with dad probably for money:/
Idk what I’m yapping abt but the recent events are: I had a discussion with dad in 2022 to see if my cousin could come to Europe and live with us he said he’ll get working on it at that time he didn’t know that the physical abuse was severe. In April I had a break down near my stepmom and told her like everything from when I was 6 and living with bio mom to this day and she told dad couple days later and he sat me down and talked to me abt everything that’s when I mentioned my cousin again and had another breakdown telling him the abuse we endured together How lily was regally abused got burned with a Hot knife all over her arms (dad took me from mom because she used to burn my thighs with hot knife or spoon) he was shocked because he never knew when he came to visit us at grandmas in 2020 lily was wearing mostly long sleeve shirts He said he didn’t know and will start focusing more on how to get her there Now aunts and grandma don’t know abt my phone even tho I’m 18 they still don’t want me to have one and will fight with dad over it so I kept it hidden ever since I got it in 2022 lily ofc doesn’t have one couple days later I was holding my sister (I have half siblings stepmoms kids a bit 3y and a girl6months) while mom was making lunch (I take lunch to dad mostly days when stepmom isn’t goin to take over the shop it’s ours btw that’s why bio mom wanted to reconnect) and I told her my conversation with dad and I mentioned the burns on lily’s arms she was horrified because she didn’t know and started feeling guilty I apologized for never telling her and I stated to tell her more things that she didn’t know like how auntie Sarah once threw a WHOLE ASS MIRROR at me because I don’t clean the toilet well and when she spat (is that the correct word) on my face because I shaved my legs and how me and lily used to cry and comfort each other every night when the day was miserable
Now I want my cousin here even more because she told me that she does all the household basically maid at this point ever since I left in 2022 I told her I’m sorry and when I turn 19/20 I’ll get her out of that nightmare Now I didn’t tell her dad is working on her case because she’s a talkative person and will slip up and tell aunties and grandma and they’ll get mad because we’re taking away the only other girl in the house that is able to work cuz auntie Sarah won’t get her lazy ass up and work
Lily calls me from aunt Sarah phone to my stepmoms because “I don’t have a phone” aunt Sarah overheard Lily tell me everything that happened last months and she’s refusing for Lily to talk to me without her being there but then we can’t talk like it’s so awkward it feels like our privacy being invaded No we didn’t talk for over two months and I’m so scared for her like she could be getting beating up or verbally abused for telling me something And she can’t call me I told dad and Stepma And they agree it’s catch and aunt keels insisting that shes “supervising” idk what to do tbh

It’s a rare location, one neither of them own, but Reggie tells him he won his scan from a player named Brusier33, who had another one. I like this set up. It shows the characters interacting with other players on Earth, as well as creating a detective story for them to solve. They find Bruiser in Chaotic and Kaz challenges him to a match for Castle Bodhran, but Bruiser says Kaz doesn’t have anything he wants, but instead challenges Tom for Maxxor. Tom agrees to the match, and it’s here that we’re introduced to the BetaDrome. Using cover, Tom enters the castle and tries to blast every corner to hit Bruiser, but he was never in the castle, and actually fired his arrows through the windows. Tom questions how he knew how to do it since Maxxor has more wisdom than Frafdo. Bruiser has player experience on his side, having battled and won in the location plenty of times, and Frafdo lives at the castle, so creature memories and instincts also work for him. Tom catches them off guard, using the conversation to distract them before getting a chance to counter. This is a really great fight. Since it’s a 1v1, more time is dedicated to it to show off the creature’s abilities, their traits, the location, and how the players try to outsmart each other. The fight goes inside the castle, outside, even in the sky. Tom makes Maxxor giant with Fortissimo, and blasts Frafdo out of the sky. Bruiser survives by using an attack to break his fall. Tom leaps from the castle with a mountain sized rock wave attack. Bruiser counters with a song of reversal, switching their places, making Tom get hit by his own attack, coding Maxxor, and losing the match. Tom holds up his end of the deal, and gives his Maxxor scan to Bruiser. Kaz feels bad because he was the one to challenge Bruiser, but Tom tries not to let it get him down, saying they need to focus on helping Reggie. Bruiser is surprised Tom cares more about helping someone than losing his best card. Bruiser sends over a Castle Bodhran scan to Tom. He reveals he went to Perim to get another scan of it before the match, just in case he lost. Locations are always in the same place, so getting scans of them is easy once you have one. The episode and first part ends with Tom going to Perim to get duplicate scans of Castle Bodhran for Kaz and the others, as they’ll need help to find Reggie. This first part was amazing. The set up was good, giving us a likeable character in Reggie, as well as a call back to H’earring and the scales. We’re given a mystery to keep us invested, as well as an entertaining match with an interesting one-off character. Tom losing Maxxor this early in the series was a smart move from a writing perspective, as well as a legitimate shock for first time viewers. He’s lost matches before, but this one meant losing his favourite card. Let’s hope the second part is just as good. PART 2 After a recap of the first part, and the opening, episode 10 opens with Tom, Kaz and Reggie on Earth waiting for their other selves to come back. Reggie comments how he feels bad that Tom lost his Maxxor card during the first part. They skipped going back and forth to get the scans, going to Perim, and getting captured, and instead had it all be implied, and just cut to them being captured by the Overworlders to save time in the episode for the plot. Frafdo returns to their cell with Maxxor, making his Perim debut. Tom is immediately starstruck upon seeing his favourite creature in person. It’s short lived since Maxxor starts to act hostile towards them. Reggie somehow found the map, and gave them half of it, saying he hid the other half in the Mipedian Oasis. They sent Reggie to go collect it, but he never returned. They believe he just left, but Kaz points out that he could have been captured by the Mipedians, which would be anyone’s first guess seeing how the Oasis is well guarded from outsiders. When they point this out to them, Frafdo knocks Kaz aside, saying to show Maxxor respect, and Tom snaps, pointing out that they haven’t shown them any respect either. There’s a moment during Tom’s rant where Maxxor becomes enraged, and attacks him, but he was actually aiming for the wall since Zhade was spying on them from the otherside, and Maxxor had spotted him out. They make a run for it, Frafdo tries to give chase but seemingly loses them, only finding a clue leading them to Prince Mudeenu. Kaz and Tom complain that Maxxor could have hit Tom, but he just gets more enraged and even threatens Tom. First he loses his best and favourite card, then he’s locked up by his favourite tribe, and then learns that his favourite creature is a dick. Episode cuts back and forth between scenes of characters. Peyton and Sarah are at Dractyl’s next looking for Reggie’s scanner. They were unable to take it with them when they first found it, so they left it at the nest to give it back to him later. He then tells them how he found the scanner, saying he saw Reggie getting captured by the Mipedians. Sarah and Peyton convince him into helping them take the scanner back to Reggie. So far, in this episode we’ve seen the Overworlders in a different light. From the lore, stories, and marketing, we’ve been told that the Overworld are the good guys, the noble warriors and heroes who fight for good. But here we see that some of them are cowards like Dractyl, and those like Frafdo are jerks. Although, most bird characters in fiction are jerks, so that checks out. Maxxor is shown to be mistrustful, easily angered, and hostile. We’ll see more of his character as the episode continues, but it’s actually good to see the ‘good guys’ showing more emotion than just good. The episode cuts to Prince Mudeenu at the Oasis. This is Mudeenu’s debut in the series, as well as completing the main four leaders of the tribes. Maxxor, Chaor, Odu-Bathax, and Mudeenu act as the representatives for their tribes for most events the four tribes are present. Maxxor and Tom have arrived at the Oasis, and spot Reggie through the window. Maxxor says if he has the map, they’ll save him, but Tom asks if they’ll still save him if he doesn’t. Here we see some good interaction and characterisation between the two characters. Maxxor has a monologue about how to the players, Perim is just a game, yet to Maxxor and the others, this is their life, and how they go through danger every day just for survival. Before he was still enraged over the idea of being betrayed by Reggie, but after seeing what happened, and hanging with Tom, he’d have more of a chance to understand the players, and calm down, and level with them. Kaz and Frafdo regroup with them, saying they weren’t followed. Frafdo pulls out some Spectral Viewers from their bag. This is battle gear that allows for the user to see creatures that turn invisible. It’s not just great for Mipedians, but any creature with the ability. It’ll come in handy in the next episode. Maxxor doesn’t call Tom and Kaz by name as he gives them orders. Tom and Frafdo are to be a distraction, while Kaz is with Maxxor to enter the castle and get the map. Frafdo knocks Kaz out with the bag, and Tom tells Maxxor that Chaotic is more than just a game to him before starting the plan. There’s another scene inside the castle with Prince Mudeenu monologuing about the Cothica. Reggie asks him how he’s sure it exists if no one has seen it. They’re hit by mugic that doesn’t do anything at first, but Kaz realises that it was to disable their Viewers. His still works because he was out of range. While warning Maxxor, Mudeenu reappears and attacks Kaz with a flash kick. Ulmar must have written this episode with how much Kaz gets knocked down, and thrown about by the creatures. Zhade threatens Kaz by flame orb, somehow, he can’t do fire attacks, and Maxxor surrenders, leading to all four of them being captured. They’re taken inside the castle grounds in chains, as Mudeenu brings Reggie to them. They demand the other half of the map, but Maxxor plays dumb. Mudeenu tries to threaten Kaz, again, and Maxxor is about to relent, before back-up arrives. Dractyl flies his nest over the Oasis with Peyton and Sarah blasting the castle with Liquidizers. The Mipedians retreat into the castle as they land. Dractyl tells them the Mipedian army is approaching, and that he doesn’t have the strength to carry all of them out of the Oasis at once. They give Reggie back his scanner, but he decides he wants to stay, as do the others. Maxxor admires their bravery and declares they’ll fight till the end. But Tom has an idea. We see them use Fortissimo on Dractyl to make him giant. His new strength means he can carry all 7 of them out of the Oasis. They land at the safe point and reclaim their scanners. Maxxor destroys his half of the map, and Dractyl flies him and Frafdo home. Tom doesn’t get the chance to scan them, but Maxxor says he will at another time. He thanks them for all their help, and holds up his side of the deal, letting them pick any 10 cards from his collection, but Kaz declines. Reggie does give Tom his Maxxor card to make up for the one lost. Characters: Tom losing Maxxor in the first part, and then meeting them in the second but not scanning them was a genius move on the writing team. Losing Maxxor is like when a game starts you out as being close to OP, showing you how strong you can be, before taking it all away to send you to square one. You then play through the game, getting better, learning new skills until you get to the point you lost, and surpass. We've seen what Tom can do as Maxxor as a newb, but now that he's lost it, he can get better as a player before getting him back as a more experienced player. By having him meet Maxxor, he's given a more perspective of the world of Perim, and his favourite tribe. Not having him scan Maxxor when he could is good because it doesn't negate the lose in the previous episode, and it has the auidence coming back to see the next episode to see if he'll get Maxxor back again, and how. Tom is now at the start of his arc. Kaz is shown more as the deuteragonist in this episode. He was the one that found the scanner, and wanted to help Reggie. Again, he shows more Overworld traits by wanting to help Reggie, declining the reward in the end, warning Maxxor about the attack, and he was even healed by Overworld mugic. He should have at least taken that promo Takinom Reggie had for the trouble since he had his weight thrown around a lot in the second half. Sarah and Peyton contribute to the story, but the problem is they're barely in both episodes. They appear at the start of the first part to help with the scales, and Kaz's rescue. They disappear after that to focus on Tom and Kaz, and don't show up until the next part to get the scanner from Dractyl, and then appear in the end to save them from Mudeenu. The first 10 episodes didn't utilise them enough, most likely because they were still introducing characters and concepts to the show. We'll see more of them in the later episodes. Reggie was a fun side character. He's different from other one-off characters with him being friendly to the core cast, as opposed to being the same arrogant, or jockish type we've seen since episode 1. He comes off as likeable, and good natured, trusting Kaz and Tom to help him, and giving payment for it as a thank you. Also, given how skilled Bruiser was shown in their match, and Reggie having beaten him once to get the Castle Bodhran scan, brings into question just how skilled a player Reggie must be. We never see him battle, but he does make one other appearance later. At first he has the impression of being a hot-headed jock type like Tank. But during the battle we see that he's actually a skilled player with tones of experience and knowledge of his cards and creatures. He chose Castle Bodhran because he knew Tom has no knowledge of the location, and used Frafdo because they do. When he won, it wasn't because he cheated or foul play, but was because he outplayed, and outsmarted Tom in the match. Creatures: In these two episodes we saw five named creatures, two of them used in a battle drome to then appear in Perim. Three Overworlders, and two Mipedians, as well as an army of unnamed Mipedian troops. This episode was Tom's best use as Maxxor that we've seen in the series so far, showing how far he's come since episode 1. But the main draw here is having Maxxor introduced as a character. The writers did a good job in humanising him, showing him to have a range of emotions from angry, and mistrust, as well as compassion and acceptance. It's more than what most shows give us with the typical hero types, making one-liners before attacking Mudeenu, or making a joke about having to walk home before leaving. We'll see more of Maxxor in Perim as the show moves along, giving him his own arc for the season. Frafdo makes both their drome match, and Perim debut in this two-parter. It gave all four characters something to do, giving them a shining moment each. We got a great drome battle with a back and forth and twist at the end. We also got to meet two interesting one-off characters with Reggie and Brusier, as well as the leaders to the Overworld and Mipedian tribes. Final it started the main arc of the season with Tom learning to battle without Maxxor, and develop as a player. Next time, we have a Kaz focused episode as H'earring gets him an audience with the ruler of the Underworld in Lord of Treachery. . Help! I just finished the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and I’m not sure what to read next! I have previously read and enjoyed her other two series, Crescent City and ACOTAR, as well as: The Ending Fire Trilogy (Saara El-Arifi), Aurora’s Angel (Emily Noon), Priory of the Orange Tree & A Day of Fallen Night (Samantha Shannon). I’m planning to read Samantha Shannon’s The Bone Season series, but I’m waiting for the 10th anniversary editions to come out. I like a bit of romance but it’s not required. Any suggestions?

Choose a profile photo in the game through the photo gallery.’ However, I’m not sure how to do that because when I go to the gallery and select (enlarge) one of the images I’ve taken in the game, it doesn’t give me any option to ‘select as a profile photo.

So I read the acotar series back when the books were still coming out. I read the series when I was in middle school because before they were YA books back then (I had no idea they are now put in the genre of adult books). I remember I fell in love the the series and absolutely loved it and honestly I'm happy they're getting popular again because it's amazing. But I remember I fell off the bandwagon back in 2020/2021, I'm not sure what year, but SJM was getting a lot of backlash.
From my understanding, she was getting a lot of backlash for a lot of sexual content and the "unnecessary sex" and kind of almost demeaning women? I can't remember the whole controversy but if anyone who has been part of the fan base back when the books originally came out could help me remember, that would be awesome. I just remember she was facing a lot of backlash for the sex, and how the female characters were very sexualized and almost like sex toys and validifying it. There were also some other sensitive topics but I'm not sure.
Im also not coming on here to hate at all. Mado was starting to feel annoyed to be held up, by a single child of Atlas, when the man himself was here. He knew he could defeat her easily, however, it would require a bit of strength, which may be a disadvantage against the emperor. He glanced at his brother, after sending Calypso flying into the distance. Just in time to see him cut Zelha's arm off and kick her flying through a hill. "Rael! Do you think you can handle both of them on your own?"
Rael, looked at his brother, squinting with skeptical eyes. "You're not planning on leaving me here alone... Are you?"
Mado smiled. "Oh come on! If we're both stuck here, none of us will get to fight him. After you kill them, come and join me, otherwise, he might escape."
Just then, the kings felt an incredible amount of energy coming from Akio's direction. Followed by earthquakes, shaking the world around them.
They both looked at each other at the same time, then Rael cursed, as a replica of him, made out of the strongest steel and magma launched out of the ground. Then, immediately intercepted Calypso's strike, which was targeting his brother.
Mado smiled, then gathered some energy. "Thanks, brother." Then, teleported and left him alone, as the two princesses charged him.
Atlas vs the Hashin...
Atlas crashed into a valley, as his platform and restraints crumbled apart, from the impact. He looked above him, as a Hashin jetted towards him, with his fist covered in magma.
Without hesitating, the emperor shifted into second gear, sidestepped, and punched him in the gut, destroying his internal organs as he was sent flying hundreds of kilometres away. "One down."
He sighed, then backflipped, as one more crashed down from above, followed by another coming from below and managing to grab hold of his legs as he landed. Burning them, while a third tried to punch him in the back.
He ducked and flipped forward, lifting his legs up into the air with the Hashin below ground, to smack him into his comrade. While the one who attacked from above tried to end it all with a point-blank, beam of lava, which he effortlessly blocked with an invisible forcefield, slightly cracking up around him.
Atlas shook his head, realizing that they were ready to risk each other's lives. He raised his left hand as dual waves of lava pressed him from behind.
The three Hashin yelled, placing their entire might as they aimed to crush him in one go. However, in seconds, he shifted into third gear, releasing an outburst of energy and pushing the waves back at them. They were knocked off their feet and showered by drops of scorching hot lava, as the emperor appeared between the two nearest each other and gifted them with spheres of telekinetic force with each hand. "Particle Vortex."
The two, once whole, seemingly burst like balloons, while showering blood everywhere. The third Hashin, had watched everything that occurred, as he got back up, then yelled at the top of his lungs. "You'll pay for that!" He clasped his hands together and gathered energy. "Forbidden Art-"
He stopped chanting, as he was raised into the air. Atlas walked up to him, kissing his teeth. "I'm not a fan of your gruesome arts."
The Hashin's body began to contort, then as he tried to utter a few barely audible words, Atlas crushed his entire body. His transformation fizzled off, while he sighed in disappointment, as he could not keep the blood off of his clothes.
A large pool of energy forced him to glance up at the sky. He frowned, as he watched three more Hashin, pooling together a massive sphere of lava. Condensed hundreds of times over by an ice wielder, as she struggled to hold together all of the pressure, within a thin film of ice.
They launched it while yelling in unison. "Forbidden Art, Core of Mercy!" Each of them, coughed up blood, as the ice user's arms began to tear itself apart, from within like a ripple, heading towards her main body. She screamed, but held on, as all of them put in every last drop of their energy.
The emperor sighed and raised his hand towards the pressurized bomb, heading for him. "I'm extremely disappointed. How low, you Hashin have fallen within this past millennia."
Immense energy began to well up within him, as he prepared himself, however, out of nowhere, a chain of lava whipped around him and held him tight. He cursed, he forgot that they were, complete masters of stealth. He looked behind him, as two Hashin held on to the chains tightly, reinforcing it with their iko and burning it with their rage.
He took a deep breath, as the world seemingly began to stand still. His hair flickered full silver once more, with silver and black veins coursing and glowing throughout his body.
Furious, he snapped himself out of the chains and held onto the remnants, then overtook their iko and clenched their hands firmly to the chains with telekinetic force, as he dragged them into the incoming attack.
Rupturing the thin ice film, holding it together, and letting out a tremendous explosion killing them instantly. Yet, the explosion seemed to maintain a fixed position in midair and started to condense, unnaturally. The Hashin in the sky, braced themselves, wary of what was going on. However, within the blink of an eye, the bizarre explosion crashed into all three of them.
All they could do was look within the glass-like phenomenon, as they tried to raise their heads, lift their arms, or move their bodies, to no avail. Traces of their iko shimmered within the condensed explosion, which hadn't stopped, till they reached a safe enough distance from him.
"AHHH!" They screamed, as he continued to admire his artwork, by placing his hands to his ear to listen before the deafening explosion, shook him a bit, as he undid his transformation.
"Now then, what should I do about this situation." He thought out loud, as he felt a Hashin flying away with Tobi and Osei's body, then smiled, after deciding his priorities. However, suddenly the world around him began to shake, with intense earthquakes and fissures sprouting in the far-off distance and making their way towards him.
"Akio!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "What do you think you're doing?!"
On Senae's outskirts, above the heated battle between Cerian and Kirosian forces...
The Hashins had just finished, helping the last of Beyond's forces off-ground. None of their main forces were allowed to land except for them, so they watched, disgusted, as the Kirosians mercilessly powered through Cerian infantry with ease. All while enjoying their chance at a good battle.
They encountered several soldiers already and avoided many that went for their heads, as soon as their crests were in sight. For the rest of the way, the two opted, to switch on their invisibility cloaks and remain above, overlooking the situation, as the last shuttle started to jet off, a few hundred meters away.
The plan changed for the location of the last shuttle for the Novas since it had gotten too dangerous near the extraction site. However, out of the blue, the shuttle exploded as if it was crushed by something. The Hashin were alarmed by what they had just witnessed. Wasting no time, they contacted another Hashin on evacuation. "It's 9 & 13. I'm not sure how, but the last shuttle has just been destroyed."
Number seven spoke up. "What? How?"
Thirteen shook his head. "I'm not sure, but I've just sent an alert to Commander Ba'jin to send another. Unfortunately, all of Rennaya has become a battlefield. He'll need to create a small window for us, to help them escape. "
Nine tapped his temple once. "21 did you find them?"
Twenty-one chimed in. "Yes, I did. The one they call Sarah is heavily wounded and losing a lot of blood. Kiala is fine, however, the shuttle they tried to reach, fell into a crevice."
A blur caught thirteen's eye, as he glanced around, finding nothing. Relieved, he continued the conversation. "3, 7, 21. Make your way to these new coordinates that I'm sending you. I will secure the location until you get there."
"Hai!" They answered back and closed their comms. He sighed, as he began making his way toward the new site. He knew the space force commander had a lot on his plate, but he just had to trust, that he would be able to pull through.
Suddenly, he noticed a flash of a large black object, in front of him. Disappearing and reappearing, faster than the eye could see.
"Hey 9, did you see that?" He spun around to look at his comrade, only to find him missing.
Seconds later the camouflage on the object, he saw statically, came undone. As something the Hashin had only heard of in stories, but had never actually seen before, opened its jaws out wide and bared large razor-sharp teeth. It had long noticed them and wondered, why they had treaded onto its domain. Regardless, with a futile attempt, he tried raising his hands up to protect himself, as the massive black dragon, chomped down on him, and swallowed him whole.
Then it let out a deafening roar.

The Hashins had just finished, helping the last of Beyond's forces off-ground. None of their main forces were allowed to land except for them, so they watched, disgusted, as the Kirosians mercilessly powered through Cerian infantry with ease. All while enjoying their chance at a good battle.
They encountered several soldiers already and avoided many that went for their heads, as soon as their crests were in sight. For the rest of the way, the two opted, to switch on their invisibility cloaks and remain above, overlooking the situation, as the last shuttle started to jet off, a few hundred meters away.
The plan changed for the location of the last shuttle for the Novas since it had gotten too dangerous near the extraction site. However, out of the blue, the shuttle exploded as if it was crushed by something. The Hashin were alarmed by what they had just witnessed. Wasting no time, they contacted another Hashin on evacuation. "It's 9 & 13. I'm not sure how, but the last shuttle has just been destroyed."
Number seven spoke up. "What? How?"
Thirteen shook his head. "I'm not sure, but I've just sent an alert to Commander Ba'jin to send another. Unfortunately, all of Rennaya has become a battlefield. He'll need to create a small window for us, to help them escape. "
Nine tapped his temple once. "21 did you find them?"
Twenty-one chimed in. "Yes, I did. The one they call Sarah is heavily wounded and losing a lot of blood. Kiala is fine, however, the shuttle they tried to reach, fell into a crevice."
A blur caught thirteen's eye, as he glanced around, finding nothing. Relieved, he continued the conversation. "3, 7, 21. Make your way to these new coordinates that I'm sending you. I will secure the location until you get there."
"Hai!" They answered back and closed their comms. He sighed, as he began making his way toward the new site. He knew the space force commander had a lot on his plate, but he just had to trust, that he would be able to pull through.
Suddenly, he noticed a flash of a large black object, in front of him. Disappearing and reappearing, faster than the eye could see.
"Hey 9, did you see that?" He spun around to look at his comrade, only to find him missing.
Seconds later the camouflage on the object, he saw statically, came undone. As something the Hashin had only heard of in stories, but had never actually seen before, opened its jaws out wide and bared large razor-sharp teeth. It had long noticed them and wondered, why they had treaded onto its domain. Regardless, with a futile attempt, he tried raising his hands up to protect himself, as the massive black dragon, chomped down on him, and swallowed him whole.
Then it let out a deafening roar.

Mado was starting to feel annoyed to be held up, by a single child of Atlas, when the man himself was here. He knew he could defeat her easily, however, it would require a bit of strength, which may be a disadvantage against the emperor. He glanced at his brother, after sending Calypso flying into the distance. Just in time to see him cut Zelha's arm off and kick her flying through a hill. "Rael! Do you think you can handle both of them on your own?"
Rael, looked at his brother, squinting with skeptical eyes. "You're not planning on leaving me here alone... Are you?"
Mado smiled. "Oh come on! If we're both stuck here, none of us will get to fight him. After you kill them, come and join me, otherwise, he might escape."
Just then, the kings felt an incredible amount of energy coming from Akio's direction. Followed by earthquakes, shaking the world around them.
They both looked at each other at the same time, then Rael cursed, as a replica of him, made out of the strongest steel and magma launched out of the ground. Then, immediately intercepted Calypso's strike, which was targeting his brother.
Mado smiled, then gathered some energy. "Thanks, brother." Then, teleported and left him alone, as the two princesses charged him.
Atlas vs the Hashin...
Atlas crashed into a valley, as his platform and restraints crumbled apart, from the impact. He looked above him, as a Hashin jetted towards him, with his fist covered in magma.
Without hesitating, the emperor shifted into second gear, sidestepped, and punched him in the gut, destroying his internal organs as he was sent flying hundreds of kilometres away. "One down."
He sighed, then backflipped, as one more crashed down from above, followed by another coming from below and managing to grab hold of his legs as he landed. Burning them, while a third tried to punch him in the back.
He ducked and flipped forward, lifting his legs up into the air with the Hashin below ground, to smack him into his comrade. While the one who attacked from above tried to end it all with a point-blank, beam of lava, which he effortlessly blocked with an invisible forcefield, slightly cracking up around him.
Atlas shook his head, realizing that they were ready to risk each other's lives. He raised his left hand as dual waves of lava pressed him from behind.
The three Hashin yelled, placing their entire might as they aimed to crush him in one go. However, in seconds, he shifted into third gear, releasing an outburst of energy and pushing the waves back at them. They were knocked off their feet and showered by drops of scorching hot lava, as the emperor appeared between the two nearest each other and gifted them with spheres of telekinetic force with each hand. "Particle Vortex."
The two, once whole, seemingly burst like balloons, while showering blood everywhere. The third Hashin, had watched everything that occurred, as he got back up, then yelled at the top of his lungs. "You'll pay for that!" He clasped his hands together and gathered energy. "Forbidden Art-"
He stopped chanting, as he was raised into the air. Atlas walked up to him, kissing his teeth. "I'm not a fan of your gruesome arts."
The Hashin's body began to contort, then as he tried to utter a few barely audible words, Atlas crushed his entire body. His transformation fizzled off, while he sighed in disappointment, as he could not keep the blood off of his clothes.
A large pool of energy forced him to glance up at the sky. He frowned, as he watched three more Hashin, pooling together a massive sphere of lava. Condensed hundreds of times over by an ice wielder, as she struggled to hold together all of the pressure, within a thin film of ice.
They launched it, while yelling in unison. "Forbidden Art, Core of Mercy!" Each of them, coughed up blood, as the ice user's arms began to tear itself apart, from within like a ripple, heading towards her main body. She screamed, but held on, as all of them put in every last drop of their energy.
The emperor sighed and raised his hand towards the pressurized bomb, heading for him. "I'm extremely disappointed. How low, you Hashin have fallen within this past millennia."
Immense energy began to well up within him, as he prepared himself, however, out of nowhere, a chain of lava whipped around him and held him tight. He cursed, he forgot that they were, complete masters of stealth. He looked behind him, as two Hashin held on to the chains tightly, reinforcing it with their iko and burning it with their rage.
He took a deep breath, as the world seemingly began to stand still. His hair flickered full silver once more, with silver and black veins coursing and glowing throughout his body.
Furious, he snapped himself out of the chains and held onto the remnants, then overtook their iko and clenched their hands firmly to the chains with telekinetic force, as he dragged them into the incoming attack.
Rupturing the thin ice film, holding it together, and letting out a tremendous explosion killing them instantly. Yet, the explosion seemed to maintain a fixed position in midair and started to condense, unnaturally. The Hashin in the sky, braced themselves, wary of what was going on. However, within the blink of an eye, the bizarre explosion crashed into all three of them.
All they could do was look within the glass-like phenomenon, as they tried to raise their heads, lift their arms, or move their bodies, to no avail. Traces of their iko shimmered within the condensed explosion, which hadn't stopped, till they reached a safe enough distance from him.
"AHHH!" They screamed, as he continued to admire his artwork, by placing his hands to his ear to listen before the deafening explosion, shook him a bit, as he undid his transformation.
"Now then, what should I do about this situation." He thought out loud, as he felt a Hashin flying away with Tobi and Osei's body, then smiled, after deciding his priorities. However, suddenly the world around him began to shake, with intense earthquakes and fissures sprouting in the far-off distance and making their way towards him.

He was born in an alternate universe Denmark, where the soviet union doesn’t fizzle out instead it crashes and burns, what’s happening during the 90s instead happened in the 2000s, and things let just say got a lot more worse for the world that he is in compared to ours.
Since childhood, Seppo is known for being the fastest and most agile kids around, when playing tag he can easily outrun his peers when he is the ‘it’ or outlast them when he is not, this skills he would carry for the rest of his life as he decided to join the military at the age of 18.
In the military Seppo mostly served as an infantryman and distinguished himself by his speed, due to this and his rather short height compared to his peers he is mostly selected to be the first to enter during room clearing exercises.
Armed with a semi automatic shotgun or a carbine, Seppo would rush in and try to flush out all the hostile inside the room, most of the time he did a pretty good job during training, a feat that caught the attention of the Jaeger Corps recruiter.
After getting persuaded by some of his peers and NCO to try joining the Jaeger corps, Seppo give in and decided to enter the selection, it was harsh to say the least, a lot of training, in a lot of different field of expertise, and in a lot of different environment fortunately for Seppo he managed to barely pass the selection.
Still now that he is a part of a special forces, Seppo finds himself having to deal with a lot more problems than he thought he would’ve, mostly doing counter-terrorism however as the recently fractured soviet union has more or less exported violence all throughout northern Europes and the Nordics states.
With warlord running rampant all equipped with the former soviet union weaponry, thing get out of hand quite fast as this universe Denmark and other Nordics state are hit the hardest by terrorist attack caused by either opportunistic warlord or simply rebel looking to gain some international attention for their struggles to create a new nation.
One of these counter-terrorism mission however is different from the rest, perhaps Seppo should’ve known considering it has weirdness and oddity written all over it, for starter the Jaeger corps were sent in first to intercept a possible terrorist attack on a hotel instead of the police, second they’re not allowed to interfere until the attack happens even when they clearly can spot the terrorist from their vans, and third they are supposed to wait for the police reinforcement to arrive and yet the police unit that arrived to reinforce them were acting quite odd to say the least.
Nevertheless the mission was given the greenlight and Seppo along with his unit managed to execute the threat quickly and efficiently, there were some oddities happening during the assault, but most of his peers agreed they were probably just seeing things.
The next morning however, Seppo is suddenly ordered to go into his commander's office, Seppo was expecting either perhaps a weird congratulations or maybe a disciplinary hearing, but what he founds out in there is something that he would consider as “The weirdest I have ever heard, at least back then.”
Turns out the entire operation yesterday was a ruse, a selection test if you will as Seppo managed to pass the test once again in flying colors, only this time the test is for joining The Committee Corps, a multi-universal nation militia paramilitary organization created to serve that nation nefarious need and Seppo just so happen to among the candidate that The Corps wanted to recruits.
Since that day, Seppo would serve the Corps just like he served his country, as he is still new to the whole multiverse concept and how to travel between them, he was given a mentor and the two quickly become fast friends, Seppo thought nothing of this relationship at least until recently.
Now 27 years old and has been the members of the Committee Corps for at least 4 years, Seppo’s mentor suddenly call him up, Seppo answered, turns out his mentor has a sister that’s about to join the corps,
“She is a sweet gal,” his mentor said, “It's just I need someone to look after her as she likes to let just say break into places she is not supposed to, got in trouble with the HISA just recently too.”
Seppo thought sure why not, after all they both are friends so he accepted the job, he however didn’t realize that this decision would lead him to not only meet with Clementine who’s big brother turns out to be Seppo mentors, but he would also crosspath and become the mentor of The Twins Clara and Sarah soon after.
But for now, all Seppo knows is that his mentors have put a lot of trust on him to look out for his little sister and Seppo will make sure that Clementine would be safe and most importantly do not try to hack every single Wi-fi connection that she finds.

Im looking for some advice around my baby shower that I'm planning. I wasn't sure whether to post on 'am I the ah' or not, but figured its more about advice. Sorry in advance if this is a long post, I just want to get the facts out for sound advice. I'm happy to clarify anything in comments.
So im 4 months pregnant with my 3rd child. I'm divorced for 7 years and been with my high school sweetheart for 6 years now. My 2 daughters from my previous marriage are 8 & 9, and we've been putting off having a child for a while as I wanted the girls to be around this age now where they're a bit more mature and appreciate having a younger sibling without having any resentment towards their sibling or me/stepdad (who they love and adore).
Im not a huge fan of throwing events for the sake of gifts, games etc. I like to celebrate things like bdays, showers etc because I genuinely love to plan the events and having my family and selected close friends involved with our happy moments. I was a bit sceptical on throwing a baby shower as it's my 3rd child and I'm not too phased on having one at first. My last 2 baby showers, my sisters and mum planned it all for me, my only request being no children. Being my 3rd, I decided that I'd like to have more of a get together at my home with the select few female friends/family and have some food catered so no pressure on myself/family to cater, no games and even tell everyone not to feel obligated to bring a gift as I won't be expecting any; just a nice day for us ladies to be together, have something to eat and have a nice girls day with great company.
Here is my dilemma. I have a very good friend of many years, that over involves herself. She's a lovely person but really doesn't take any hints that I drop about anything and inserts herself into every situation with unwarranted visits, opinions, absolutely everything. I have slowly started putting boundaries in place with her as it was severely messing with my mental health. I am not a confrontational person either, especially since she's been great to me for years besides the above listed. This friend (let's call her sarah) has been invited to my last 2 showers where I asked for no children, decided that she would bring her niece to both showers. She was the only one that went against my wishes by bringing a child, and I don't know if it was to prove a point or not, we weren't that close then.
Sarah has even offered to throw a shower at her house (she wants games and all the crap I dont), and genuinely just trying to take over my day that I'd like planned. I declined her offer to host and organise and she's taken it onto herself to call my sister to organise it with her. My sister told her she won't be involved in organising or hosting as she respects my boundaries of hosting etc myself.
Now, here is my dilemma. I have 11 ladies I'd like to invite (Inc sarah), they're a few of my family members, in laws and friends) along with my 2 daughters, my 2 little great nieces, and my best friends daughter who is best friends with my daughters. All the children involved are ridiculously well behaved, respectful and just genuinely incredible kids to be around. I will not tell my nieces not to come, my children will 100% be involved in this special day, and my best friends kid is practically my daughter.
My issue is Sarah's kids. She has 2 daughters and a son (older than my 2 kids, think 10+) and they're seriously off the walls, and before it's mentioned no they're not any type of additional needs children. They are just poorly parented. I'd understand and wouldn't be having issues if they were children with additional needs, as I myself have ADHD and autism so I'm very sympathetic to additional needs children).
They put a mountain of food on their plates and don't eat it, then request other things (I'm getting catering for the amount of people I'm having and don't want to be in the kitchen attending to kids that aren't mine), they are so messy and drop food into furniture and carpet, obnoxiously loud and continuously interrupting adult conversations, they annoy my 2 pomeranian pups (they will be in the large closed off lounge room on the other part of my house for the duration of the shower) and the 3 kids will let them out to come out to the hosting area. If I tell Sarah's kids "no" or direct them elsewhere, Sarah will always butt in and allow them to do what they please like it's their home (like going into bedrooms, opening cupboards, helping themselves to my kids ipads which won't be used during the event, just generally misbehaved, entitled behaviour).
I am ridiculously anxious about hosting a baby shower because of Sarah and her kids. I almost do not want to have one at all because of them, but my husband has said I'm being silly by depriving myself and our kids of the memory of having one and I shouldn't let 4 people dictate my choices. We're not planning on another child after this pregnancy, so it's not an event that'll happen for us again.
I want to tell Sarah it's a child free event. She'll either bring her children anyway (because she is how I described above and think it won't apply to her especially as her kids are older), bring them like she bought her niece to my last 2 showers or have the audacity to say something about MY children, neices and besties kid attending and not hers. I've also considered not inviting her at all (but I don't trust others to not tell her or for her to find out). I've considered having it at a different location and allowing people to pay their own way, knowing she won't afford expensive priced things for all 4 of them (this is too cruel for me to do and I'd prefer it being at home and I really don't like pay your own way although I don't mind paying my own way if I'm invited to, not everyone is financially able to, whereas I am able to pay for everyone).
So reddit, what would you do if you were in my situation knowing the details I've given? I don't even know if I'm an AH for considering all of these scenarios. It's a dang baby shower ffs, and this woman has me stressing over things so freaking silly and I HATE THAT I AM!!!!!
I can take the brutal honest opinions you may have and again I'm happy to clarify anything in the comments. I'd just really appreciate any advice on what you/your wife would do in this situation.

I must have skimmed over it but in the section I posted SJM said: “Her sisters come back in the later books, and I'd love to write their own spin-off books one day. Nesta was kind of a gift for me in the book, where she wound up being someone completely different than I thought she was, and I loved discovering that randomly. I cried like a baby when I wrote one of her scenes for some reason, and I don't even know why, but it hit some weird note. I don't know where it came from, but l'm glad that it wound up being that way, and I was able to make her a real person instead of a cardboard cut-out of a wicked sister. They're all just survivors."”

She’s had this damn thing planned out for years. Each Archeron sister will get their own novel. I don’t give a damn about romantic pairings. This isn’t about that. But at least acknowledge that Sarah is doing a book for EACH Archeron sister. That’s not to say that she won’t do books for other characters later. She definitely will. But come on? It’s so obvious. She once claimed in an interview that she’d be writing the series until she was like 70 to 80 to 90 years old. (Can’t remember that exact interview rn but others who’ve watched all her interviews will definitely remember this. It’s one of her video ones. )
And in one of her interviews with her friend Stephanie (@ideallyinspired on Instagram) a few years ago, she talked about how she thought the next main character (of the yet to be announced ACOTAR novel) was obvious due to the events of ACOSF. ( I can’t remember the exact interview because they had so many together and they talked for way too long in each but others can back me up on this. I’m sure one of the SJM info accounts had a clip of it on Insta. Maybe Yaz (@yaz.the.bookish) or Lou (courtofmaas). But if you want to watch them all you’ll find them. The lives are on Sarah and Steph’s pages. Some might be on YouTube or clips on Tiktok too
Anyway, Sarah said she thought it was obvious in regards to the next main character LOOK WHAT SHE SAYS ABOVE in the second interview: “(I won’t tell you who the first book is about, but I think once you read ACOFAS, it’ll be a little more obvious). Aka in regards to Nesta being the next main character but she couldn’t reveal it yet.)
HAHA. It’s so damn obvious. Elain was so hinted at in ACOSF. Honestly, it’s probably not even SJM who wants to be so secretive, though she is a rather quiet person. It’s more so her publisher. The longer they draw it out. The more it draws people in. Think about it. She also said in an interview with her friend Stephanie that her publisher wanted to do something special when it came to announcing the next Acotar book and it’s details.
Aka the Acotar book we are still waiting to be announced. That’s why all the past hints we’ve been given for her old book announcements aren’t there.
They’re being top, top secret. But it is pretty obvious that the next MC is Elain.
Though I’m 100% sure every other relevant character will get a book too. Just in due time. So don’t worry your pretty little hearts out. She’s said before in her interview with Jennifer L Armentrout that the series has a huge overall plot. But after Rhys and Feyres books together, the rest of the books will follow a seperate romantic pairing that has it’s own smaller plot, that in turn leads back into the huge overall plot. (Once again not taking my time to get link but it should be on one of their Instagram pages in video section, or on YouTube/Tiktok somewhere.)
There was also an interview in the back of a version of ACOFAS where Sarah talked about Elain. She said: “became research for her book” . I don’t own that version but I found a picture someone shared online. Just look up ACOFAS Interview Sarah J Maas on Google and the entire interview will pop up for you. I’ll post the one photo in the comments since it won’t let me now.

2024.05.20 12:07 Relationshipopinion How should I feel about my Wife 37F and Friends 52m actions?
My wife’s best friend who I will call Sarah moved in with us about 1 month ago after her husband had her arrested for getting physical with him and scratching his face. I have been a mutual friend with both Sarah and her husband that I will John. Our kids are friends and we would often get the families together. We have been put in the middle of the feud. John has a restraining order out on Sarah and the only way she gets to see the kids is supervised visitation. John listed my wife as the person that has to be present while her kids visit in 3 hour time blocks. I thought it was weird that John only listed my wife on there considering I am the only one (between my wife and I) that directly communicates with him (text and calls). John and my wife were always cordial to one another but between all 4 of us, they are the only two that had no real friendship. My wife is prettier than Sarah, and I have caught John staring at my wife’s chest and ass in the past. It never bothered me. During one of John and Sarah’s last fights, he said that Sarah’s face looked much older than my wife’s (both are very into skincare and anti-aging, so this really pissed Sarah off). John is an incredibly controlling husband that treated Sarah very poorly and my wife has always said that he is such an asshole and that she can’t stand him.
This is where things began to get weird…
After Sarah moved in, John continued to call me to discuss his wife. My wife told me that I was being too kind to him after the way he has treated her so poorly over the years, and having her arrested. My wife told me that it was time to choose a side (Sarah’s) and to stop talking with John. She told me I was two faced for continuing to speak with him. She called him Satan because he was already running around with a few different women and their kids, all while taunting her in various ways and trying to destroy her life. Suddenly John starts reaching out to my wife to schedule visitations with their kids based on my wife’s schedule. He could’ve listed both of us on the supervision list but he only put my wife. I suspect that he felt like it would lead to an open line of communication between the two of them(previously my wife didn’t even have his number in her phone) My wife acted very annoyed that she was put in that position because he never asked beforehand.. basically if Sarah wanted to see her kids, my wife would need to be involved. Here is where things got weird…
We had a birthday party for one of our daughters and we invited his kids to her party. He brought the kids and oddly stayed in the area with his youngest and waited around, but didn’t join the party. Later that day I sent him a text thanking him for the gifts they got. The next morning(Mother’s Day), one of the first things my wife does is send him a thank you text that I felt was a “gushing” thank you. It was weird to me that he was not only the first thank you text that she sent, but she only sent 3 out of the 8-9 parents that were there.
Is this thank you a bit much?
“We had the gifts mixed up but Sarah later clarified the gifts with the flower wrapping paper were from y'all! But as you can see, she loved them. Thank you very much for going out of your way to get them and for bringing the kids out to celebrate with Tara(our daughter) and waiting so patiently with jane(his youngest daughter). It meant so much to us!”
Here was my thank you the night before …
“Thanks a lot for all the stuff for Tara. She loved it all. You got much more than you should’ve”
John’s reply to my wife’s thank you text and then wishing her happy Mother’s Day.
“You are so welcome, a bit sad we were not able to be there as a complete family. Praying next year is different.”
“Happy Mothers Day, the kids and Dave are so blessed to have you.” (Clearly a compliment to her and a dig at his wife)
My wife’s reply…
Sunday 1:56 PM Thank you! I am sorry for leaving you hanging about today. Would you like to plan for around 430-730? We are getting a slow start and I just hoped to go to the beach for a little bit.
(She just says thank you? I would’ve thought she would’ve also said that their kids are blessed to have her best friend as a mom as well)

(Sarah then sent a screenshot of the family app that they are legally allowed to communicate on. She told him that he was intruding on my wife’s Mother’s Day, and it was stressing my wife out, which was true. After seeing what Sarah told John, my wife felt compelled to reach back out to John with the following…
“Hey John. I'm not stressed. It just took forever to get the kids ready and out”
Keep in mind that he has repeatedly verbally abused her friend, has been hanging out with other woman, kicked her out of her house without her belongings, reported her to the state licensing board for her “arrest” and caused her license to be suspended, told her that he hope she died during an upcoming surgery she was supposed to have, and insulted her by implying that she was a harm to her kids and her best friend needed supervision during the time she spent with her kids… I was called “two faced” and told I was betraying Sarah, simply because I would answer John’s calls and texts.
We get home and John brings his kids over with a Mother’s Day plant and card (same ones, for my wife and Sarah). I thought this was weird and another way of slighting at Sarah, putting the two of them on the same level. The next day, my wife (who doesn’t garden) was watering the plants and walking around with the plants looking for a place to plant them. (I mentioned to Sarah that my wife watered the plants and she seems very surprised and upset that she did that, considering it was intended to be a slight to her.). I was very surprised considering our 9-year-old got her a plant from Lowe’s a year or two ago and she simply let it dry out and die on the counter (never watering it) which really hurt our daughters feelings….
Two days later I looked at my wife’s messages with John and was very surprised. My wife knew I had looked at her phone and sent me a nasty text to stay off of it. I told her that I was surprised that she was being so chummy with John considering how he has been treating Sarah, and had previously called me “two faced” for continuing to talk to John. I told her that her thank you to John was “gushing” and clearly made him feel good as he gave her a compliment about how blessed we were to have her immediately after that. I told her I was also surprised that she didn’t just have me tell him thank you considering she knows we talk and are friends. My wife got really mad and said she did nothing wrong and called me a jealous psycho. She said she would show the thread to Sarah because she had nothing to hide and did nothing wrong. I told her that I would strongly advise against it because I think it would hurt Sarah’s feelings and cause her to be upset with my wife. My wife continued to call me a lot of mean names and told me I needed professional mental help. She then changed the password on her phone. She then told Sarah that it would prob be best for her and John to coordinate through the app because I was acting very bothered by her talking to John (implying jealousy).
My wife and I began talking about the situation again yesterday and I told her that I wasn’t dwelling on it but wish she would acknowledge the inappropriateness of the conversation, considering the circumstances. She refused and again began calling me a psycho that is destroying her life. I told her that if she felt like it was a completely appropriate conversation, then she should show Sarah. She refused. She then sends me the following :
“I deleted his thread and his contact information. Accidentally called his number while I was trying to figure out how and immediately hung up. I’m sure you’ll say I called him on purpose. I have a screenshot of the thread so you won’t accuse me of trying to get rid of evidence.”
As it turned out, she didn’t have a screenshot of the thread. I found it very odd that she deleted the conversation (she did it during this last argument we were having about the appropriateness of it and telling her to show Sarah..
The other things that bothered me was that I wrote a kind Mother’s Day message on her Facebook, which she saw but never acknowledged on Facebook or said anything to me, and she completely ignored my happy birthday post to our daughter on Facebook. She was so quick to acknowledge the person she called “Satan” but not to her husband. I am considering the possibility that I am overly sensitive these days. My wife just went through a real bad case of postpartum rage where she was verbally abusive toward me and I genuinely felt like she hated me. It has left me with what she believes to be ptsd and says she feels very badly about it. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced and it nearly ended our family. Am I over-reacting or was my wife out of line?

What should I make of John’s actions with my wife? Should it rub me the wrong way!?

This is where things began to get weird…
After Sarah moved in, John continued to call me to discuss his wife. My wife told me that I was being too kind to him after the way he has treated her so poorly over the years, and having her arrested. My wife told me that it was time to choose a side (Sarah’s) and to stop talking with John. She told me I was two faced for continuing to speak with him. She called him Satan because he was already running around with a few different women and their kids, all while taunting her in various ways and trying to destroy her life. Suddenly John starts reaching out to my wife to schedule visitations with their kids based on my wife’s schedule. He could’ve listed both of us on the supervision list but he only put my wife. I suspect that he felt like it would lead to an open line of communication between the two of them(previously my wife didn’t even have his number in her phone) My wife acted very annoyed that she was put in that position because he never asked beforehand.. basically if Sarah wanted to see her kids, my wife would need to be involved. Here is where things got weird…
We had a birthday party for one of our daughters and we invited his kids to her party. He brought the kids and oddly stayed in the area with his youngest and waited around, but didn’t join the party. Later that day I sent him a text thanking him for the gifts they got. The next morning(Mother’s Day), one of the first things my wife does is send him a thank you text that I felt was a “gushing” thank you. It was weird to me that he was not only the first thank you text that she sent, but she only sent 3 out of the 8-9 parents that were there.
Is this thank you a bit much?
“We had the gifts mixed up but Sarah later clarified the gifts with the flower wrapping paper were from y'all! But as you can see, she loved them. Thank you very much for going out of your way to get them and for bringing the kids out to celebrate with Tara(our daughter) and waiting so patiently with jane(his youngest daughter). It meant so much to us!”
Here was my thank you the night before …
“Thanks a lot for all the stuff for Tara. She loved it all. You got much more than you should’ve”
John’s reply to my wife’s thank you text and then wishing her happy Mother’s Day.
“You are so welcome, a bit sad we were not able to be there as a complete family. Praying next year is different.”
“Happy Mothers Day, the kids and Dave are so blessed to have you.” (Clearly a compliment to her and a dig at his wife)
My wife’s reply…
Sunday 1:56 PM Thank you! I am sorry for leaving you hanging about today. Would you like to plan for around 430-730? We are getting a slow start and I just hoped to go to the beach for a little bit.
(She just says thank you? I would’ve thought she would’ve also said that their kids are blessed to have her best friend as a mom as well)

(Sarah then sent a screenshot of the family app that they are legally allowed to communicate on. She told him that he was intruding on my wife’s Mother’s Day, and it was stressing my wife out, which was true. After seeing what Sarah told John, my wife felt compelled to reach back out to John with the following…
“Hey John. I'm not stressed. It just took forever to get the kids ready and out”
Keep in mind that he has repeatedly verbally abused her friend, has been hanging out with other woman, kicked her out of her house without her belongings, reported her to the state licensing board for her “arrest” and caused her license to be suspended, told her that he hope she died during an upcoming surgery she was supposed to have, and insulted her by implying that she was a harm to her kids and her best friend needed supervision during the time she spent with her kids… I was called “two faced” and told I was betraying Sarah, simply because I would answer John’s calls and texts.
We get home and John brings his kids over with a Mother’s Day plant and card (same ones, for my wife and Sarah). I thought this was weird and another way of slighting at Sarah, putting the two of them on the same level. The next day, my wife (who doesn’t garden) was watering the plants and walking around with the plants looking for a place to plant them. (I mentioned to Sarah that my wife watered the plants and she seems very surprised and upset that she did that, considering it was intended to be a slight to her.).
