I am hiring a personal assistant and I want them to help with email management as well as organize documents in digital filing systems.
Do most people set up a proxy account? Just give the personal assistant the main account login?
If I have to be present or on a virtual call while they complete their tasks it somewhat defeats the purpose.

2024.05.22 00:41 ShoppingCartTheory Premiere playback was working fine, now it's stuttering, even on rendered clips
Playback in Premiere Pro v 24.2.1 has suddenly started stuttering. The odd thing is that nothing had changed on my computer before this problem began. I've had Premiere open for at least a week, been editing a project with no problems. Took a break for a few days, and when I began work again, playback on everything was now stuttering.
To be clear, Premiere had remained open on my computer. No OS update and no Premiere upgrades performed in this time. No changes whatsoever made to project, programs, or computer. Stuttering playback occurs on both unedited footage and fully rendered parts of timeline.
Restart of both laptop and Premiere Pro did not resolve the issue.
I also tried opening Premiere with no other programs open, even though it had been working fine previously even with multiple other apps open. Even with only Premiere open, playback stutters.
Cache had been cleared recently, but I tried that anyway; no luck there.
I had multiple sequences open, so I closed most of those; no change.
Playback quality in both viewer and program monitor is set to 1/2, with Apple Pro Res LT codec.
It is not the dreaded "audio input" bug; audio preferences are set to "no input'.
It is not because I'm cutting with full-res footage instead of proxies; playback has been fine up until now, and I've been working on and off on this project for months. And

OS: Monterey 12.6.1
Processor: 2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9
Memory: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
24 GB system memory allocated to Premiere.
Editing 4K XAVC-I, XAVC-S, and some iPhone footage in a 1080 sequence.
Using original footage, not proxies (and playback has been fine for months, until now)
Footage and project files are all on SSD drives.

Hi, I'm writing as this is an ongoing issue I have,y mother is a very "one remark and she'll be furious" kind of mom so I'm careful, my English teacher, is also very unjust and permits herself the most atrocious acts, she constantly insults the people with lesser grades, insulted a good friends parents for not complying to her outlandish demands, I often forget my homework and get reminders on my book (reminders are little "forms" to show an issue) so I show my mom and she usually melts down but trust me these things are absolutely nothing, they send the message "your child ----- so here's a reminder it isn't allowed" well to my mom it sounds a bit like "your committed war crimes" I'm not exaggerating I'm being purely honest, so one day I forget and it's my teachers fault, she hands out the work and forgets me, I don't think much because she passed by my table so I assume I got the paper, next day she writes a remark because I forgot to take the paper when I could, and to tell you the criteria for a remark are disruptive behavior, forgotten work, lack of essential material, and improper wear, none of those criteria fit what she wrote me up for. So I explain but my mom thinks I'm always wrong and the teachers can't be wrong so I get punished for 3 weeks. Worst is that my mom said she takes pleasure in seeing me bored and very angry at her for doing these unfair things, and not entirely because I don't get my Xbox for an unjust reason but my little brother uses my devices to play so by proxy my brother is dragged into this for no reason. There's two manifestations of the problem. The first one is that sometimes when I first try to load a website I will get an error page that says Error: Connection Reset, then usually I have to reload the page maybe 5 or 6 times before it will finally load. The second one is that sometimes a website loads but a few up to maybe 2/3 of the images on a page don't load. Again, if I reload it 5 or 6 times I usually can get all the images to finally load. This is more common on sites with lots of small images.
This problem happens on both Chrome and Edge but not on Firefox. It also doesn't happen on the other computer in the house or our smart phones that also use Chrome and the same network. I'm not using a VPN or a proxy server. Video calls and streaming video seem to work fine.
Fixes I have tried to no avail: deleting cache/cookies, updating Chrome, uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, resetting TCP/IP, disabling all extensions, resetting my modem/router, disabling Windows firewall, disabling Windows antivirus, disabling hybridized Kyber support in Chrome flags, disabling reader mode Chrome flag, disabling graphics acceleration setting, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
Any ideas?
