🔗Echinacea Goldenseal Immune Support Herbal Tonic

Echinacea Goldenseal Supreme 2 oz by Gaia Herbs has become a staple in my home during the cold and flu season. The herbal blending is potent and effective in providing a significant boost to the immune system. The taste is definitely on the earthy side, but it's a small price to pay for not having to endure a full-blown cold.
I particularly like the liquid format of this product. It's easy to take a dropper full whenever I feel the first signs of a cold or flu coming on. The swift action of this tincture has helped me stave off many would-be illnesses. Plus, it's easy to mix into my tea, making it even more palatable.
Gaia Herbs has a reputation for producing high-quality products and their customer support is top-notch. However, one downside to this tincture is the serving size. Six dropper fulls four to six times a day can be quite a chore, especially for those who are not fond of the taste. Nonetheless, I would recommend this product, especially if you're looking for a natural and potent way to manage colds and flu. Just be prepared to commit to multiple servings daily.

🔗Goldenseal Root Extract Capsules for Immunity Support and Digestive Aid by Herbamama

https://preview.redd.it/o19urff56q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a82a6f3dd86d7d6de35c6393e82a58437037032e
As someone who's been using Herbamama Goldenseal Root Extract Supplement for a few weeks now, I can say it's a game-changer. I've been struggling with digestion issues and occasional UTIs, and this little capsule has been my savior. Goldenseal is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it perfect for soothing away tummy troubles.
One of the things that really impressed me about this supplement is the potency. Each capsule contains 700mg of pure goldenseal root extract, which definitely packs a punch when it comes to relieving my symptoms. Plus, the capsules are really easy to swallow and don't leave a horrible aftertaste in your mouth like some supplements do.
On the downside, I have had to take more than the recommended dose in order to see results, but that's probably just because my body is used to getting a stronger dose at the doctor's office. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a natural way to help with digestion issues, UTIs, or other respiratory issues.
The only real downside is that it's not a permanent solution, but for short-term relief, Herbamama Goldenseal Root Extract Supplement is definitely worth a try.

🔗Organic Gotu Kola Energy & Focus Supplement

https://preview.redd.it/0omqwkr56q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e88e394a795f972ed4ad1a199684fa3aecbd32d
As a long-time user of Himalaya Organic Gotu Kola, let me tell you, I've seen a significant improvement in my energy levels and memory since incorporating these caplets into my daily routine. I no longer feel sluggish during the day and my brain feels like it's firing on all cylinders. Plus, the fact that these are made with organic ingredients, are gluten-free, and vegan-friendly, well, it's just an added bonus.
However, I will say that the taste isn't the best. It has a very earthy flavour that can be quite strong. But don't worry, because the aftertaste isn't very noticeable. Overall, I would recommend giving these a try if you're looking for a little boost in your day. Highly recommended!

🔗Organic Echinacea Goldenseal Immune Support

https://preview.redd.it/18kusqe66q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c0f99f5267ddec4bb5298e202e85635af6cc092
As an avid user of natural remedies, I can't help but gush about Oregon's Wild Harvest Organic Orange Echinacea Goldenseal Glycerite. This little bottle of herbal goodness has become my go-to for when I know a cold might be brewing.
The first thing that stands out to me is the delicious orange flavor. Unlike other Echinacea and Goldenseal products, there's no lingering alcohol taste, making it much more palatable. Plus, it's certified organic and GMO-free which gives me peace of mind.
Its benefits are astounding. Not only does this product boost my immunity, but it also soothes my respiratory system, making it easier for me to breathe during allergy season or when I'm feeling under the weather.
However, no product is perfect. The serving size is quite small - just 1mL - so you might find yourself going through it faster than expected. But honestly, that's a small price to pay for such powerful relief.
All in all, I can't recommend this product enough. It's become a staple in my medicine cabinet and a reliable ally during times of illness.

🔗Sana Life Collagen & Greens Powder - Multi Collagen Supplement for Skin, Hair, Nails, Gut Health - 30 Servings, Unflavored

https://preview.redd.it/juooxqh66q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d7b152deef4cafbcf060b19ed06bc5a0277df6f
I recently added Sana Life's Collagen & Greens Powder to my morning routine, and I'm absolutely hooked. Before, I dreaded drinking greens powders, but Sana has changed the game. The taste is truly unmatched. It's like drinking a fruity juice, but with the added benefits of collagen and hyaluronic acid - it's like a magical beauty potion in a bottle.
One of the best things about this product is how versatile it is. I can mix it into my morning smoothie, or even just with water, and it still tastes amazing. Additionally, I've noticed a difference in my hair and skin since starting this supplement. My hair feels stronger and my skin looks healthier. Plus, it supports gut health, which is always a bonus.
However, not everything is perfect with this product. The unflavored version, while still being quite good, could use some improvement in terms of taste. Some users mention that they can taste something off, which can be off-putting.
Overall, Sana Life's Collagen & Greens Powder has been a game-changer in my daily routine. It's a quick and easy way to get a boost of nutrients, and I look forward to seeing the long-term benefits. If you're considering trying this product, I would highly recommend it. Just make sure to give the unflavored version a chance!

🔗BetterLungs: 60 Capsules for Seasonal Sinus & Bronchial Support

https://preview.redd.it/s2mtfhu66q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c59014047fe351e3efaaf5dc965da33f23caafa
I've had the pleasure of trying out BetterBrand BetterLungs-60 Capsules, and I must say, it's been quite an experience. Though the reviews and ratings are varied, I personally found it to be quite effective in enhancing my lung health. The standout features for me were the natural components that worked together to minimize my coughing frequency and boost the overall health of my airways.
One significant highlight was the noticeable improvement in sinus and bronchial support, making it much easier for me to breathe easily. I also appreciated the fact that it came as a 30-day supply, which was convenient considering my busy lifestyle.
However, I must admit there were some cons to this product. Some users reported experiencing pain and discomfort from its use, so it may not be the best fit for everyone. Additionally, the quality control during shipping has been a concern for some buyers, which can tarnish the overall impression of the product.
Overall, I would recommend BetterLungs-60 Capsules to those looking for a natural way to enhance their lung health and support their respiratory system. Just be sure to assess your personal tolerance before incorporating it into your daily routine.

Some herbal teas, like chamomile or peppermint, may have properties that promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. However, consult with your doctor before using any herbal remedies, as they can interact with medications.
These foods can contribute to inflammation and hormonal imbalances. Go for whole, unprocessed foods whenever possible.

Is this loaf overproofed?
I’m new to sourdough and can’t tell if this is overproofed.
The recipe is the lemon and herb loaf from The Perfect Loaf. I modified it to include more rye flour: - 420g white flour - 200g rye flour - 425g water - 12g sea salt - 135g levain - 5.5g herb de Provence - 1.5g lemon zest
Mix the flours, water, levain and salt and mix/strengthen dough then add herb and lemon zest. Bulk fermentation for about 4 hours with 2 folds. Shaped and cold proof in the fridge for 15 hours. Bake next day for 55 mins at 410 degrees. Cool for 1.5 hours before cutting
Thoughts?

2024.05.21 03:17 Lambari_de_sanga Completed a Only guns + kill everything run

After weeks of grueling gameplay, I finally completed a Only guns + Genocide run (Pinecone Pig simulator). This was probably the most boring and anxiety inducing gameplay ever, but it's over. (To clarify, I don't have proof to post, besides a 19 hour save)
I just wanted to post my route here, which was very inefficient and stupidly slow, but I wanted to be safe, and minimize farming (my run ended at 19:47, probably 12:00 of farming and 03:00 of searching for enemies and loot). So, my route was:
Day 1 morning: - Looted all herbs and stuff; - Saved Henryk (didn't get the Vinushka's bible); - Killed some (sickle & pipe Villager after derelict house) Moonscorched enemies, shooting outside of battle (agility wasn't enough to fight), then ran back to the train through the west; - Went through the sewers towards PRHVL Bop (avoiding every enemy, died a few times), got a book of enlightenment and saved.
Day 1 morning/2: - Looted Dr. Kefer's store and the apartments nearby, getting a Vinushka's bible and triggering a death mask before heading out. - Went back through the sewers, avoiding enemies again. - Slept at the train.
Day 1 Evening: - Went after the Woodsman (without a strategy, mind you), killed him inside battle but lost an arm, recovering on the broken shack. - Got the Pinecone Pig, and then farmed a little bit (keep in mind that loot was still plentiful). - Went back to the village through the west and killed the villagers and vile, had to kill them outside of battle (same agility issue), and looted everything (finally getting the Small thing's amulet, yay). - Slept again.
Day 1 Night: - Killed the dogs and went to the bunker, looting everything. - Killed Chaugnar on the first floor (with the shotgun) - Got down and killed Chaugnar again (that scared me), consuming all of my ammo. - Rushed through Rher's dimension (avoiding everything). -Slept again, learning all of Levi's skills + Short Circuit.
Day 2 morning: - Bought ammo in the store. - Fun time in the sewers again! (Easier this time, through tunnel 6). - Tried to kill all bobbies and the rifleman from the main street (died a lot, both by bobbies and by Needles hands). - Avoiding Needles, looted the bookstore, got the GOFAH bible and saved.
Day 2 Morning/2: - Save scummed the fight against Marinara sauce (she blinded me too many times). - Looted the church and that little area to the east (learned a lesson after trying to kill the trooper, just avoided him afterwards). - Finally went after Needles, killing him outside of battle. - Went back to the village, spent my shillings, killed the decrepit priest, cut the main gate's locks and went after Pav (I didn't kill Marcoh or Tanaka due to poor planning). - Killed the bobbies, said hello to Pocketcat, then backtracked through the sewers and saved in the bop (ritual circle)
Day 2 morning/3: - Farmed a bit with the Pinecone Pig, and went back to the back alleys. - Juked a fecal hound and used his body to block a gate. - Killed the mob with relative ease (marksmanship saved my ass). - Went towards Karin and killed her (also killing the half cocooneds, easy fights). - Got my trusty bear trap and went to deal with that pesky death mask, almost dying in the process due to a visual bug that allowed it to reach me (the MF'er got invisible), but managed to run away and kill it. - Backtracked and farmed more (this time it was a longer session). - Cleared the orphanage and it's Rher's dimension (I left Father Hugo alive, good decision), then went back to the store for ammo. - Farming again... - Went to the sewers and cleared the moonscorched group (big mistake on my part, spent 2 9mm rounds per battle and a lot of healing items), also killing Moonscorched Levi and a rat hag. - Looted everything I had missed, went back to the train and saved (slept), also getting Pav's, Marina's and Karin's skills.
Day 2 evening: - Went on a killing spree (Marcoh, Tanaka, Olivia, Henryk and Caligura) and farmed (very long session, about 01:30). - Went to the Tunnel 7 Rher dimension and cleared it using a syringe of heroin (poor usage, but I was fed up of farming), saving me turns and ammo (1 shot inside of battle). - Ran to the white mold apartments, got in Rher's dimension and cleared it with heroin again (necessary, neighbors were wrecking me, and heroin made me 1 shot them w/pistol). - Went towards the storage near the woods, killing every enemy on the way (bad decision, should have waited until I got "steal"), and Olivia's doppelganger. - Went to the foundations of decay and defeated Moonless by using heroin and Yggaegetsu amulet (August saved her but screw this, I'm not doing all that farming again), and killed Tanaka's doppelganger. - Went back through the elevator to farm even more (almost losing my sanity). - Saved on the train again, with the ritual circle.
Day 2 evening/2: - Went to the church to kill all crimson fathers. Then cleared the way to the mausoleum alley. - Avoided the Bellends and used Pep pills to beat Rancid the Sergal. - Killed the other Bellends (after more farming...). - Got almost every possible skill in the Hexen, got another book of enlightenment and saved.
Day 2 evening/3: - Went to the church to kill dysmorphia, then killed the elite trooper to the east (using steal, best skill ever). - Looted the museum, talked to Pocketcat and got 4 books of enlightenment. - Back to the White Mold Apartments to kill Daan. - More farming... - Went to the woods avoiding the owl cultists (very annoying, resilient to bullets inside battle), killed the dogs, then went back and killed the Centaur (funny thing, he got stuck and I one shot him, really cool). - Entered the bunker, looted it and killed Stitches (too afraid to lose a good run, so I shot her in the overworld, wasting ammo), then I ignored the Living Flesh. - Went back to the train and slept.
Day 2, night: - From this point onwards, it was just Pinecone Pig farming. No loot left anywhere. - Went to the sewers to kill neighbors and other enemies. - Back to the church to kill the Crimson fathers from the hidden passage (avoided them before due to lack of ammo) and the Pillarmen. - Back to farming, saved in the Mayor's manor.
Day 3 morning: - Again, even more farming, then I went after the Mayor's manor Ronteals. - Hunted down the beekeepers in the city (killed them on the overworld). - Killed Father Hugo, getting another 2 Books of Enlightenment. - Went back once again to farm (had to spend a lot of time, since boxes and other stuff was scarce). - Killed all Sew Jobs in battle (taking unnecessary risks, just to save ammo). - Saved with a Book of Enlightenment (tired as fuck).
From this point onwards, I just farmed a lot and killed Rancid the Sergal, the Living Flesh, August (took too long, I wanted to kill him before, but lack of planning struck again), all of the Owl cultists (surprisingly tough, 3-4 pistol or rifle ammo in battle, so i killed some in the overworld) and the Ratkin Gang (surprisingly easy with Marcoh's skills). All of these had farming sessions in-between. At last, I said goodbye to (AKA: brutally murdered) my villager buddies and went for the hard fights.
I killed both the Tormented One and the Heartless One, using the ultimate boss fight setup, that I kept for all remaining boss fights: - Rifle; - Chainmail dress; - Bremen elite helmet; - Salmonsnake Rune; - Yggaegetsu amulet; - Leechmonger ring.
After this, saved again in Hugo's House (spent many books farming w/Pinecone Pig, left 1 for the bunker) and got ending B, which was surprisingly easy. Then I went for ending A, got ammo in the bunker, cleared it and saved on the last bridge, also using my last heroin syringe. Died 3 times in the Platoon fight, but succeeded and killed Kaiser easily. Fighting against logic was tense AF, not because of health, but of ammo. You might not believe it, but after spending 19 .303 ammo and 14 9mm ammo, I finished off Logic with the only shotgun shell I had in my inventory, epic as fuck.
So, this was my run. I wanted to share just to know the mistakes I made, and also because I'm happy with this.
Just to add: does anyone know other challenges that are also hard and involve killing everyone? (Just not maso-mode, I think I'd have a mental breakdown)

2024.05.21 03:08 feelingdown24 I'm tired and I want my freedom back

Throw away account but I just needed a place to vent. I am a 26 year old male who is tired and no longer wanting to care for my dad. For some background this man does not care about his health. He would drink soda first thing in the morning, take random herb vitamin, avoid seeing doctors, never exercise, etc. He also has a lot of health issues to begin with as well. From his eye, to his stomach, to his feet; health issues everywhere. No matter how much my mom and I warn him that its bad, he just doesn't care. Atlas all those bad habits caught up to him since the pandemic and his health has just declines every year.
Last year it finally hit him and we had to take him to the ER. Since then I had to take that man to the ER at least 8 times. 8 freaking times. I've started to hate hospitals, doctors, nurses, cna, ma, and tech. We had to admit him to a rehab nursing facility because he was unable to walk and he is still unable to walk without a walker. I am and still a person who hates driving. So driving back and forth to the hospital made me hate driving even more.
Now his kidneys are no longer working and he had to start dialysis. He is not an eligible candidate to have a transplant because his health is so horrible.
I'm an only child. I have no choice, I had no help from anyone. Its was just my mom and I trying to balance work, visiting my dad, and trying to take care of ourselves. It was already rough for my mom and I to handle it alone, but we got used to it.
Every week of my life I am drained and exhausted. From driving my dad to and from dialysis, doctor appointments, making up hours from my job, grocery shopping, chores around the house, driving to the pharmacy to pick up his meds, etc. I just don't have time to do anything anymore.
And what does this man do while my mom and I are running around? SLEEP. That's all he does. Not even doing his exercise to get better. Not even trying to find a new hobby. Not even help with cleaning. All he do is sleep and expect my mom and I to care him like a king. This was his attitude before he even started dialysis. And I never enjoyed it, I started doing the bare minimum now.
What I'm getting at is that I literally don't have time anymore. I don't have time to socialize with my friends. I've already missed 4 out of state trips with my friends. I keep getting stress when new problem arises in my life. I'm breaking out. My heart does this thump (might be stress and anxiety) when i go outside now, like i need a break. can i breathe? Can i please live my life as a 26 year old? Keep in mind I've been doing this when i was 24 years old. I don't want to take care anyone but myself now. I've become a selfish person, i dont care what anyone says anymore. i dont care if i hurt feelings anymore. If I'm having a bad day everyone is having a bad day. I was never like this. I was happy.
In the last 2 years I haven't even seen a doctor for my own health, but yet i'm seeing 4 doctors every other month. And they're not even for me. I'm just tired. I dont want to take care of anyone anymore. I just dont care anymore.
Sometimes I think about running away and starting a new life. Like no more doctors, no more wasting time, no more stress, and no more running back and forth. I just want to be happy. I just want to eat ice cream while i watch a movie. I want to walk at a park and watch the sunset. I want to go out with my friends to the mall and eat dinner. I want to travel and do a mini trip. I want to visit new resturant and have the joys of finding new food. I want to wake up on a saturday morning relaxed and not feel rushed to complete a million things so i can have sunday to myself (spoiler alert i dont). I just want my freedom back.

2024.05.21 00:47 webkinsdotcom need ideas cooking for 12!

i work on a farm and every day someone (rotating) cooks lunch for everyone. there’s 12 of us, and it has to be able to be cooked in an hour. we have lots of early veg that we can use freely (mostly various types of salad greens & herbs at this point), pantry items like rice, grains, potatoes, and some meat.
what would you make? usually what people make is some combination of rice, salad and a third thing (fish, some kind of meat, beans, roast potatoes) and a green sauce for dressing.
essentially i’m looking for recommendations for easy recipes that can feed 12 hungry farmers and can come together in an hour. thanks in advance!

2024.05.21 00:24 freedom_phantom3 reactivating old symptoms

hi everyone!
about 10 days in and I am up to 3 stings :) the venom seems to be working but it is too early to really say. Ive seen people say that BVT "makes the infections acute again" so that the venom can fully eradicate them, versus being just put into remission. Based off my symptoms, that appears to be an accurate statement because I am having the same symptoms as when I first contracted Lyme/Co. Still having the fevers that I mentioned in my previous post, and now also experiencing the same rash that I initially had. I was going to attach a photo but it's hard to tell on camera. They're a deepish red, scaley, circular, and there's about 4 of them all over my body. It doesn't really matter but I am kind of curious which infection this rash could be from if anyone knows! Over these 2 years since contracting it, I have tested positive for bartonella, babesia, and rickettsia. However I know there could be others in me.
The herxing has been surprisingly manageable and feels different from herb induced herxing. My brain doesn't feel as impacted but Im nervous to even write that as I don't want to jinx myself haha. 1 day after the stings, my pain gets pretty bad. However I take all my detox herbs and within 24 hours, max 48, I am almost entirely better. So this confirms that what Im experiencing is herx versus 'flare'. The fatigue is consistent, though. Im exhausted.
That's about it :) Hoping everyone is making it through this crazy journey. let me know any of your thoughts!

Is this loaf overproofed?
I’m new to sourdough bread baking and I tired the lemon and herb loaf from The Perfect Loaf. I can’t tell if this is overproofed. Do I need to reduce my bulk fermentation (4 hours) or reduce the overnight cold proof (15 hours). Or is this okay?

2024.05.20 20:48 QwertyPolka Can you help me identify the potential culprit(s)?

I consumed some tomatoes w/ spices from a can and developed strong rhinitis in the following hour (lasted for over 12 hours).
Can you help me identify all potential culprits so that I can evaluate each one separately? I'm mainly asking regarding things that one wouldn't think of from looking at the ingredient list (which I am including below).
INGREDIENT LIST
I can already tell you it wasn't the Tomatoes, as I trialled a fresh one today with no apparent issue.

2024.05.20 19:28 basilholland Is NMZ better than Ammonite crabs for me? (NMZ questions)

Hey everyone, noob here on their first character trying to train my combats in my off time and had a few questions about NMZ.
  1. Mainly I was wondering if NMZ is actually better than ammonite crabs for me at my stats/gear?
  2. Could someone explain how afkable NMZ actually is? Is it more or less afk than clicking every 10 minutes at crabs?
GeaStats link
I also have an abyssal whip and abyssal dagger. Working on barrows gloves but need some higher skill reqs to finish RFD. Fire cape unfort out of reach atm.
I realize from looking at my stats there are tons of other things I should be doing (especially slayer XD) that could also train my combats but I just don't have a ton of time to play so I like the feeling of at least being able to train something while I'm at work/busy.
In regards to the first question I am getting about 62-63k exp/hour at ammonite crabs using the gear above. Using NPC aggression timer I am able to click once every 10 minutes to reset aggro.
At NMZ, I was getting around 61k xp/hour but it felt significantly less afk to me unless I was doing something wrong. Also less xp/hour. I was using the recommended bosses from the wiki but the nature of absorptions made me feel like I needed to much more frequently rock cake down to 1hp. I always hear people mention how AFK NMZ is but if you aren't managing your HP won't your absorptions get blasted away really fast? There is also the cost of entry which I guess can be offset by herb boxes but typically it seems the max/xp setups don't get many points outside of covering absorbs.
The one nice thing about NMZ is that there is zero competition but I haven't really figured out how to get good/xp and AFK it consistently. Any advice here or perhaps other afk training methods you know of are appreciated!

2024.05.20 19:19 ElenaSunshineMag 5 Healthy salads to support Immunity

The daily diet has an impact on health and well-being. It is important that the diet is properly balanced and rich in vitamins and trace elements. When we are susceptible to all kinds of infections and colds. Most often, this is a signal that our immune system is weakened. Find out which vitamin salad will help strengthen the immune system.
(1) - "Fruits, vegetables, and legumes vary widely in nutrient content so should not be expected to have similar physiological effects. Although dietary guidance is supportive of a more vegetarian eating pattern, including increased servings of fruits and vegetables, the scientific support for these recommendations is mixed in an evidence-based review. Prospective cohort studies find weak support for the protectiveness of fruits and vegetables against chronic diseases, yet the intake of fruits and vegetables in U.S. cohorts is low. Additionally, few randomized controlled trials have been published on the addition of fruits and vegetables to the diet and changes in biomarkers or health status. Nutrients in fruits and vegetables, such as dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals, including polyphenols, all provide support for the biological plausibility that fruits and vegetables play a role in health."
1. Salad of fermented cabbage, beetroot, apples and cranberries
This recipe allows the use of both red and white cabbage. Both varieties serve as excellent sources of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and many other trace elements. Vitamin K plays a very important role in the functioning of the body, as it supports blood circulation. In addition, together with other nutrients, including calcium and vitamin D, it helps to form strong and healthy bones.
Beetroot doesn't just give sauerkraut a bright color. It is a very healthy product in itself. Beetroot is known for its positive effect on the work of the entire digestive system, it helps to cleanse the intestines of slagging and toxins. The recipe uses pumpkin seeds. Of course, you can experiment with other products.
Ingredients:
Designed for 4 servings Cabbage (white or red cabbage), finely chopped 1 medium head Beets, peeled and grated 1 piece Red onion, finely chopped 1 pc Sea salt 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley, finely chopped 3 tablespoons Apple, cut into thin slices 1 pc Fresh cranberries, cut into 1/2 cup halves 1 tablespoon of raisins Pumpkin seeds 2 tablespoons Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Instruction: Put beets, cabbage, onion, ginger, and salt in a large cup and mash the mixture well with a spoon so that the cabbage becomes softer and lets the juice flow.
Transfer the mixture together with the juice into a sterile glass container with a lid. Attach vegetables so that there are no air bubbles left in them and they are completely covered with juice.
Close the container with a lid and leave it at room temperature for about 3 days, until the appearance of a characteristic smell and taste of sourness. Put it in the refrigerator for two days, then use it to make a salad. To make a salad, put the pickled vegetables in a large cup. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. The salad is cooked.
2. Vitamin salad
The salad contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other useful substances. It also has an ideal ratio of healthy fats and carbohydrates. If you double the portion, you can store it in the refrigerator and use it for snacks or lunch the next day.
Ingredients:
Designed for 2 servings Young salad greens, chopped 3 tablespoons Spinach leaves, chopped 2 tablespoons Cherry tomatoes, cut into halves 1 cup Green young peas 3 tablespoons Grated carrot strips 3 tablespoons Red bell pepper, finely chopped 2 tablespoons Sliced thin half rings of red onion 1 tablespoon Avocado 1/2 piece Peeled almonds 2 tablespoons Sunflower seeds 1 tablespoon Pumpkin seeds 1 tablespoon
For refueling:
Flaxseed oil 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon Sea salt 1 teaspoon
Instruction:
Cooking time 15 minutes
Combine all the ingredients for the salad, sprinkle with oil and vinegar, and season with sea salt. Stir and serve. The fastest way is to chop carrots and other vegetables using a food processor.
3. Winter citrus salad
This citrus salad is a real source of flavors and colors, and also a great way to enjoy winter citrus. It is very easy to prepare, the whole process takes no more than 15 minutes.
Salad is ideal for the role of lunch, juicy side dish, appetizer, or light dinner. It is elegant enough to serve on a festive table and is simple for everyday meals.
Juicy oranges of various varieties, crispy cucumbers, soft avocados, light sweet onions, and herbs are laid out on fresh lettuce leaves. All this is sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, walnuts, and peas, sprouted and dehydrated with honey and spices.
The salad is complemented with a smooth honey-citrus dressing. It is made in addition to citrus juice from apple cider vinegar, honey, homemade mustard, and crushed garlic. This mixture is seasoned with salt and pepper. Then olive oil is poured into it in a thin stream.
It can be served chilled or at room temperature. Citrus lovers will surely like it, and those who are not too fond of these fruits will allow them to see them in a completely new "taste" light. If you need a bright, impressive salad, it is advisable to use a rainbow of colors from several varieties of citrus. If a simple serving is enough, a couple of citrus fruits of different shades will suffice.
Ingredients:
Designed for 2 servings
Any salad leaves 1 bunch Red-orange, peeled and sliced into thin slices 1 pc Orange, peeled and sliced into thin slices 1 pc Tangerine, peeled and sliced 1 piece Avocado, sliced 1 piece Sweet (white) onion, sliced into thin rings 1 pc Cucumber, cut into thin slices 1/2 pc Fresh mint or parsley, chopped 2 tablespoons Pomegranate seeds 1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped 3 tablespoons Sprouted and dehydrated peas with honey and spices 1/2 cup
For refueling: Orange juice 2 tablespoons Lime juice 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon Honey 1 tablespoon Homemade mustard 1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed or passed through a press 1 clove Sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste Olive oil 3 tablespoons
Instruction:
Cooking time 15 minutes
To make the dressing, whisk orange juice, lime juice, vinegar, honey, mustard, and garlic in a small cup. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continuing to beat, pour in a thin trickle of oil. Try and adjust the amount of salt, pepper, and sweetener. The filling is well stored in a closed container in the refrigerator for a week.
To assemble the salad, spread the salad leaves on a serving plate. Put oranges, avocados, cucumbers, and fresh herbs on the leaves. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, walnuts, and, if desired, dehydrated peas. Sprinkle the salad dressing and serve.
To make citrus fruits less bitter, free them from white membranes. To do this, putting them on the work surface, first cut off the top and bottom of them with a sharp knife so that the pulp is visible on the cut. Turn the fruit over, placing it on one of the slices, and cut off the entire peel along with the white membrane from top to bottom, following its round shape.
Taking one fruit, make an incision to its middle from the edge of one of the lobules along the inside of any of the membranes. After that, cut off the slice from the second side, from the opposite membrane, so that the slice remains on the knife. In the same way, cut off the remaining slices from the membranes. Repeat the process for all fruits.
If you need to save time, you can use ordinary sprouted and washed peas, omitting the dehydration stage with spices and honey. If there is no desire to add peas, you can simply omit them.

4. Kiwi salad cucumber, nuts, and greens
To maintain immunity, the best thing is to seek help from the power of fruits and vegetables. Kiwis contain twice as much vitamin C as oranges and provide the body with much more energy. Here is a recipe for a salad of these amazing fruits with the addition of no fewer healthy greens and other nutritious ingredients.
Ingredients:
Designed for 2 servings Young salad greens 2 cups Small cucumber 1 piece Kiwi 2 pcs Walnuts 3 tablespoons Mint 1 teaspoon Chopped small pieces of young peas 1/4 cup For refueling: Olive oil 3 tablespoons Freshly squeezed lime juice 1 teaspoon Sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Instruction:
Cooking time 10 minutes
Thoroughly rinse and dry the salad greens. Cut the cucumber into thin slices. Peel and slice the kiwi. Combine all the ingredients in a cup, adding chopped pea pods, nuts, and mint leaves. Combine in a small cup and mix thoroughly all the ingredients for the dressing. Pour the salad with the resulting dressing and serve, if desired, pre-cooling it in the refrigerator.
5. Cucumber, celery, and fennel salad
This green salad of cucumbers, celery, and fennel has a surprisingly clean, fresh taste. Cut the vegetables into the thinnest slices, giving the dish the consistency of cabbage salad and an elegant, appetizing look. In addition, in this form, vegetables turn out softer and are better covered with fresh herbs. Slices of cucumbers, celery, and fennel go very well with olive oil and almonds.
All components of the salad can be prepared in advance and simply combined at the right moment. Thanks to this, it is convenient to use it as an addition to the brunch, lunch, or picnic menu.
Ingredients:
Designed for 3 servings
For salad: Small cucumbers, cut in half into 2 pieces Celery 5 stalks Fennel root 1/2 piece Chopped fresh parsley, without stalks 3 tablespoons Fresh dill, without stems (chopped) 2 tablespoons Mint leaves 1 tablespoon Olive oil 2 tablespoons Zest one small lime Freshly squeezed lime juice 1 teaspoon Fine sea salt to taste Freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the almond dressing: Almonds (soaked for at least 8 hours) 4 tablespoons Olive oil 1 tablespoon Filtered water 1/4 cup Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Instruction:
Cooking time 15 minutes
Soak the almonds for at least eight hours, drain the water from them and peel them. Place all the ingredients for dressing in a small blender or food processor and grind until smooth. Cover and put in the refrigerator. To make a salad, chop cucumbers, celery, and fennel into thin slices on a shredder or with a very sharp knife.
Combine chopped cucumbers, celery, and fennel with chopped parsley, dill, mint, olive oil, zest, and lime juice in a large cup. Season with salt and black pepper and mix. Distribute the almond dressing on a plate, put the salad on it, and sprinkle with chopped almonds and a pinch of salt if desired. Bon Appetit!

2024.05.20 18:52 DaddyAndSalope Tips for a strong start! 200hrs and power run to T2 Cap.

200+ hours, 5+ full restarts and these are the tactics I use to excel and get over many bottle necks. When I first played I struggled a lot in the early game balancing and managing resources. Currently I am on day 60 with 3 towns liberated, 25 peasants, 5k gold, 12k renown. I spend A LOT of coin on food for buffs/books
Base Location
You can start anywhere on the upper map. No one spot is exceptional, the things to consider are proximity to 2 ores (Tin and Copper), Reeds, and Hunting. You want to limit transport time of your peasants and their tiny little inventory. wherever you start, place your first stockpile and a travel sign on the road, you are going to go back and forth a lot to this location. Ensuring storage and food crate are close to the sign will speed things up.
I suggest the large open patch South East of Haerndean; it's straight south of the pond in Haerndean with a tin node.
Travel Signs
Travel Signs everywhere! You will need a travel sign at each village but you also need them scattered at key POI and crossroads. The block on fast travel when a patrol is passing is huge (it's gotten bigger since launch). You need extra sign posts at area's you pass often or that are along major roads that patrols use often. Do your signs sooner rather than later (first 10 days). recruit your first 2-3 peasants then focus on getting your signs down at each village, Aleks hut (swear he's the only real herbalist) and the wheat farm south of Padstow. You also need to make the run down to Horndean, Crasmere, BlackRidgePool and on the swamp road. Get signs placed ASAP. You need the merchant's buffs (more below)
Recruitment
Recruit them all! Most of your peasants will be from Haerndean, a couple from Padstow. Don't worry too much about stats/job skills. Perks are the only thing that really matters, skills can be improved quickly. If you get a bad roll on perks, recruit them, strip them naked and expel them. the game will respawn another peasant that is the same type/tier. You are gonna want 3/4 of your army to be sword/shield and 1/4 archer. 2 handed weapons are not an effective option until early T3.
Use clothing to identify peasants and their roles. I use different helmets to quickly identify what a peasant does until late T2.
Focus on perks/combat skills
Peasant Tiers
Peasants can be 5 types, you can tell by the way they dress (these are my labels not in game labels):
  1. Beggar -- Rags -- major Debuffs never recruit
  2. Villager -- simple plain clothing -- cannon foddemeat shields 0-2 skills over 4
  3. Working class -- Nice dress or white shirt with a blue sash --
  4. Noble -- fine clothing with gold trim
  5. Apprentice -- Job specific clothing -- special skills but random buffs/debuff. Recruit and expel them to get a good set of perks. *
Storage
Everyone manages storage differently, figure out what works for you. I place them in a semi circle in the center of my base and build my production structures around the outside of them in another circle. I like to compartmentalize things with a stockpile/barn for each: * Seeds, Ore, Wood/logs, Books, Raw food, cooked food, Herbs/plants, Materials, Equipment (weapons on weapon racks (3)).
Production
Produce what you need without a ton of extra. Don't try to overproduce/stockpile resources early game, storage is too limited, resources are too limited and prioritization doesn't work. Each peasant should have 3 jobs + delivery/labor (2-6) save P1 for being able to redirect the peasant set all other jobs to 9 so they do not become idle. If a peasant wanders off on a task you don't want them to do, make them a companion and release them; when they start back to work it resets their job priority. It's an easy way to get a wandering peasant back on track. * top up/ one-off Top up your tools (2 ea)/ammo, keep plenty of extra arrows on hand. Keep 25% of your population's shields on top-up. Plank shields break fast! Armor and weapons should have 1 spare on top-up everything else as one-off.
Outpost
You don't need them yet, but when you do: 2 people, stockpile, house, work building. Set up deliveries. Delivery happens nightly at midnight or weekly. The one off transfer doesn't really work as intended, it will keep trying to send that amount daily forever. There is no option for broken tools in deliveries. If your outpost uses a tool, set up a weekly transfer of good tools and go pickup the broken ones. Make sure your travel sign is as close as possible to the stockpile of an outpost to ensure speedy transfer of goods.
Personal outpost
Create a personal outpost that consists of 2-3 crates, weapon rack, smoke rack, cauldron inside your main base. Peasants won't touch it (unless your main storage overflows). I have an Ammo/weapon crate, Good Food, Books (if I have more then 2 for books I create a stockpile). You can also use this as a transfer point for remote farming. By remote farming I mean things like Peat, iron, moss, wood,
Gear
Gear (armoweapons) has very small increments of improvements. Trying to gear all your peasants with the tech you just researched will create a ton of waste. Since the tech tree is blocked and you have to research each step, get the first step produced (with 1-2 extra sets) and get to the last step for the tech level. Upgrade everyone's gear and throw the old gear in a box and eventually the outhouse.
Weapons: * Reinforced club until I unlock warhammer. Everyone uses blunt weapons since they work way better vs brigands Bows -- Everyone gets a bow/arrows forever Gloves -- hand wraps until thick gloves Boots -- Rugged boots (needed for quests later) until nomad boots Pants -- Rugged (need for quests) until Thick Breeches Shirt -- Adventurers Garb until Gambeson Cap -- Nothing until outriders helmet (see section on recruitment) *
Peasants Work!
A core tenant is that day time is for production and Quests. Night time is for work and grinding.* Peasants stop work at 9pm and don't start until 6 am the next day. At the end of each day I call in all the peasants and go farm something (reeds, herbs, wood/logs). Seed bags/logs slings for everyone. I keep these and spare axes in my equipment box for easy swap. You don't need to sleep until 6:45 am to get your daily buff so use every minute of the day. After the farming is done I go farm an encampment or a wolf pack.
wolf pack note: at different locations around the map ( SW padstow, east of Haerndean, west/SW of bradford lake, Waterfall near Bradford, +more ) large wolf packs of 10-15 wolves spawn, when I find a spawn I place a travel sign as close as possible and check back each season. these are great sources of hides/furs/XP
Skills
Combat is where you break the barrier of production in the game. Focus your skills on bow first then shield/hammer. The rest of your skills will come from books/time. Priorities and optimize your skill growth with strength books/bow. To do this you need buff; Blackridgepool, Crasmere, fishermen, and the roadside tavern near padstow lake all sell cloud berry's for a 50% XP buff. Fishermen sell fish stew, and cranberries are picked at the swamp (where you should have a travel sign for this purpose).
You can max archery/agility in 50 days if you do this. Before you raid an encampment when you are grinding, shoot the corpse of animals/brigands as many times as you can before it decays. You still gain XP even after the animal is dead. You can put 90 arrows in a boaelk before it decays. because I go through so many arrows I keep a crate of just arrows always full then move it to my personal crate.
Strength, one handed and shields are slower since you don't get as many shots in but you can train them faster by blocking with your weapon, learn to time your attack against your opponents attack. All the AI telegraph where their attack is coming from and you swing against it, this gets you strength and shield XP as well as gives you a counter attack. Once you get the timing down it really simplifies the game.
Spend your apprentice books like an onlyfans simp. At one point I had 5-20 of each skill book because I couldn't spend them fast enough. I start each morning after sleep spamming books on every peasant. Strength books are the most valuable to me and two handed books are never used until late T2.
Combat
I saw a post here when I first started that said to buy straps at every opportunity and to save your gold for them. This was a complete waste for me. I have a stockpile full of just straps and I never purchased a single one. The key to this is the nightly attacks against brigand outposts.
The combat AI is not the best, one trick is to find a rock/ledge the AI cannot walk onto and stand there and shoot them in the head. If you kill all Melee AI the archers will run and start doing this strange dance of sprinting really far away then suddenly retargeting you from a huge distance away (outside render range). With these encampments you can't be too close to the encampment when you kill the last occupant or you will lose the encampment, you also have to be careful when traveling to Farnworth with your army that they don't accidently raid out the yellow encampment.
Southwest of Bradford is my favorite farm spot’s. There is a yellow base and a red base that are easy to farm. The yellow base is right next to a small canyon of rocks. Stand at the Y in the road, fire an arrow high (top of the smoke stack) and wait for them to aggro, once they aggro shoot them as you walk backwards to the rock edge, 2 quick jumps and you are untouchable. This base doesn't have archers and is also extremely high traffic for patrols. You can grind to level 7 bow/agility in about 10 days here.
Due south of Bradford is a red base with a bridge over the water, at the top of the hill on the west side is a rock that is the perfect size to stand on and not get hit. This base does have archers so be careful and use the tree for cover. Try to shoot the archers on the bridge as they rush.
Last place is the wheat farm south of Padstow. This is a little later than the other 2 but is doable very early game if you avoid the archers. The archers here can one shot you so place a travel sign extremely close. My spot is North east of the farm. Running north east from the farm towards the mud pit you keep going until you are close to the road, you will see a single rock outlier that you can stand on and shoot them easily. This is also a way to farm leatherawhide before you unlock the tanner.
Last spot in the bridge between Blackridge pool and the starter area. This area is patrol heavy with Mid level and high tier brigands, there are lots of edge's on the east side of the bridge where you are unreachable. The downside is that most of the archers here can one-shot you so 3-4 travel signs are prudent.
Raids
Honestly, I turned them off after T2 started. Before that they were set to hard/frequent. there are so many raiding party's, reclamation party's, tax party's and the infinite respawn brigands at Farnworth they were nothing more than an annoyance and distraction.
Libertas
I was able to liberate Haerndean around day 15, this was way too soon and I went back to an older save. Before you liberate your first town you want to reach friendship level with all 4 starting towns and be able to build village shrines(T2). In this whole guide I've not mentioned old coins/wolf teeth because I only use them to get to friendship level with a town. Once I hit friendship level I spam shrines at the town to get to protector. Once I reach protector I place a stockpile (in its own outpost) and transfer all goods to build a bell tower and extra food. Place the bell tower, kill the brigands and wait out the raiding/reclaim parties. There are only 2 paths from the brigand headquarters up the map. Place travel signs along the way near 'safe' rocks and spawn along their path to thin out the party. While you are engaged in guerilla warfare, have your army march in two groups (archers/shields) to the town to defend.
That's about all I have.

2024.05.20 18:05 ChrisEhrmantraut Miracles only no death + no bonfire completed (NG+ with Company of Champions)

It was time to start journey 2 for the illusory rings with my level 150 cleric. To add some resource management to this challenge, I only took 20 wilted dusk herbs (restores many but not all spell uses) from the item box. The plan was to use no more than 15 herbs, so I had to use all of my selected spells and couldn't just nuke every boss with Sunlight Spear.
I had low health (23 vigor), but I could survive most of the enemy attacks with the right rings (Vendrick is a notable exception). And I could only use three useful rings outside the boss arenas because I didn't want to raise my soul memory.

Equipment:
-Lion Mage armor with Hexer's Hood
-Lightning Dragon Chime
-Binoculars

Usual ring setup:
-Third Dragon Ring
-Ring of Steel Protection
-Clear Bluestone Ring
-Agape Ring (switched to Life Ring against bosses)

Spells:
27x Great Lightning Spear
6x Sunlight Spear
20x Emit Force
12x Heavenly Thunder
3x Wrath of the Gods
5x Splintering Lightning Spear
(No slots for defensive miracles like Denial or Great Magic Barrier.)

After 24 bosses, 3 forlorn invasions, almost 4.5 hours and too many near death situations, my journey was over. I had to use 15 wilted dusk herbs, 9 repair powders and about 70-80 lifegems to complete this challenge. Now I just have to finish the DLCs where I'll probably (certainly) die a lot.

2024.05.20 15:33 TheChrissyP How to handle flare ups/how to know if it's a flare up?

Hi guys, I need some advice and/or reassurance. I have mostly IBS-c and have had lots of issues with gas and bloating until I figured out onions were the bane of my existence and quit eating them. Felt a lot better since then, still stress-constipated and probably some foods I should avoid more but pain-free.
However, two days ago I accidentaly ate a herb in the onion family and since 4 hours after eating that I have had diarrhea, severe stomach pains and a terrible vasovagal response. (None of the other people eating the same got sick) I cannot even stand upright without feeling dizzy and nauseous, my fingers are tingling etc. The gas pain is similar to other onion accidents, but I seldom get diarrhea or feel so lethargic. I have seen from this channel that symptoms can be really bad for a lot of you guys, so I'm wondering how you deal with it, how long it lasts, and how you can know if it''s IBS or some kind of stomach bug? I took some pill to reduce gas with charcoal and simethicone in it, but it made me so nauseous I almost threw up. Reduced the gas pain a bit though. I would try to take a walk if I got a tiny but better but now I cannot stand up and walk around without pain and dizzyness.
I am new to handling these flare ups, thanks for all advice 😊

2024.05.20 13:28 legaladviceseeker21 Constant Beeping and Flashing - What's the problem?

My 18 pod system has suddenly began constantly beeping and flashing in about 1 second intervals. The first time, I tapped the power button above the lights and tapped it again to turn it back on, and beeping and flashing went away. About an hour later, the beeping/flashing came back and the controls above the light no longer work. I unplugged/replugged the power and the beeping/flashing remains. Interestingly, I unplugged the power to pump and the beeping/flashing goes away and comes back when plugged back in. I then removed the water and pulled out the pump and noticed its not pumping while plugged in.
Should I assume this is a simple case of the pump dying? I've only had the unit for about 25 days. Technically I'm in the return window but I threw away the box. If this is a dead pump, is this a known issue with these Mufga systems?
Thanks for reading and any advice!

2024.05.20 11:49 Zeppu_47 Just... What happened

Before begin, srry for lack of language. English is not my main language 🥲
I know its not that safe ör trushworthy seraching on internet these type of tings but I cant find any explanition
Well I used to study witchcraft when I was middle school I quitted after I start to think its some adult tings... I decided to look back my old studies again (ı am an adult now 😅 senior year in hightschool) my family dont support witchcraft but they using diffrent types of herbs and cyristals for healing activities
My purpose was simple, make a candle for positive Energy and cleaning. I decided to use little piece of quartz witch I find near the sea, white candle with flower designs, some rose seeds and leafs and lavender oil. I wanted to study some sgils too so I used Pentagram and some nature sgils
I was waiting to fail (Bc I am beginner) ı was clear about my purpose. I was suprised that I felt it working
Anyways, when I recording the spell and searchings, wind in the room weirdly changed (İt was normal but... That felt diffrent)
After several hours, it felt like working . I was comboned some unexpected sgils so it was weird. Anyways, evryting happened in night my dream
I was sleeping with sweather. I decided to go to bed earlier Bc I felt weak somehow. I am normally sleep really deep and try to take çare my sleep quality but last night I woked like 2.30am. ıtaked off my sweather and try to sleep again After 10 min (ör I felt like this) I woked up with a deep voice and unfeeling sense on my arms and back. ı dont saw that tings face (ı was scared so I hide under my blanket) but I am remembering shadow like blackness, some kind of...suit? And long claws. İt spoker to me like its a normal ting and gaved me some numbers (it drawed them next to my pillow) and said like "if ya need anyting, just Call" ı was really REALLY freaked out. I cant even scream from scare. Just maked some mumbling sounds. And shaking. And the weird ting is, it was having fun from my expression. But somehow, I felt like it trying to help me
After writing all these numbers (they was like repeading themselves) someting diffrent happened
İt taked off from me for aoment and someting orange camed in from opened window. With making some sounds on my study desk (the candle was here too) orange tingcruled next to my feeds with shadowy tings command.
İt was look like tree colored Cat but more...fluffy? İt remembered me my old visitor -pet who died 2 years ago
Anyway, after that ting cruled next to me, shadowy ting was Gine and I felt... Safe and warm so I slept back and try to take this as nightmare
But my candle spell was changed (qurtz place was diffrent when I maked it) plus, blankets and my sweather was just like their last positions ,(after all these screams and try to hides I mean)
The weird ting is, I am started to see some black - white feathers in weird places and some pollens (orb - like pollens?)
After all these I am... Scared and confused just... I wasnt purposed to call a soul ör angel ör anyting ... What was that?
İt was not sleep tings (ı forgot to that terms English but when you felt like you are cant move and cant breath. That condition was have name).. it was more complicated from it
So what was that?!
İs that was a product of my imagination? So why it felt Real somehow
İs that was a soul? İt was trying to help me? İs he bad ör good
... What I need to do...
