Canker sore wisdom tooth

Hello ! I just got my letter for an oral surgery appointment today . I haven’t called them yet but I was wondering if there are any additional charges involved ? I’m a student and my dentist referred me around February and finally I got a chance to book one but I’m not in a position to spend too much. Also, how was your experience getting a wisdom tooth extracted ? I’m a bit terrified tbh .

According to the dentists that I asked, they don't have essential equipment such as drills. I imagine how many are struggling because of this, unable to afford private dental care.

Just curious what this is. My throat is sore and it feels like my mouth is dry. Back story is I went down on someone and they used a toy on my mouth and 2 days later my throat hurts and this appears

Hey, I got my wisdom tooth removed yesterday and I'm bored. :) I'm 24F, from France. Currently trying to learn German. I know English and Spanish pretty well I think. Also few words in Japanese and Korean.

It is painful to the touch and painful to eat and drink. I have another lesion in the other side of my tongue, but it is not as painful and barely visible. I believe it’s possible that I bit my tongue in my sleep because I grind my teeth, but I am also concerned about a potential STI exposure. I also get frequent canker sores and lie bumps in case that is relevant.

In short, I had a root canal on my upper right second bicuspid (I'm not sure how the numbering works, sorry) in 2014 when I was 14 years old. I had it crowned shortly after.
Then, in 2019 it just randomly started hurting. It's a persistent dull kind of ache. Nothing makes it particularly worse. I don't chew on that side because I have a root canal on the bottom right molar that doesn't have a crown and I don't want break that tooth. There's no sensitivity to cold, tapping on the tooth doesn't hurt when tapped by the dentist. However, it does hurt when I tap it on the side of the tooth and not on the bottom.
It also hurts when I floss but it feels like the pain is more so in the tooth in front of it. I'm honestly at my wits end. I've been to 7 dentists in the past 5 years and followed their recommendations since nothing is apparent on any x-rays. I've had multiple fillings in other teeth in case those are causing my pain and even had my wisdom teeth taken out in case it helped, which it didn't.
I don't know what to do anymore. I've spent thousands of dollars already on my teeth and the fact that I'm still in pain is making me feel so depressed.
Could it be that I'm clenching in my sleep? I do have pain and clicking in my jaw when I open my mouth to a certain extent. Or maybe a sinus issue?
If anyone has any experience with this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I had one upper wisdom tooth removed. Two weeks after I had a lot of congestion and blew my nose pretty vigorously. (Was never told in post op directions not to blow nose) That was 4 days ago and I have had multiple bloody noses per day since then. Now is to the point where I have multiple times a day where I have bloody nasal drainage in the back of my throat and large clots that I either end up swallowing or gagging on and spitting out. I called the oral surgeon and since I don’t have a fever or facial swelling and only mild pain they told me to not blow my nose, use a straw and try not to sneeze for two weeks and see if it gets better. I am to the point where I can’t sleep because I have so much blood and blood clots draining down my throat. Do I keep waiting to see if this gets better on my own or should I either request to be seen or get a second opinion.

I’m trying to understand the difference in the looks of sores location. If you have oHSV on lips/ around mouth then you will have a cold sore; small fluid filled blisters? And if you have oHSV inside the mouth then you will have sores on gums that resemble canker sores, correct? Is this how it works?

So, issue is not to deal with wisdom tooth, but Ask Dentists isn't answering me
My aunt had a failed implant on the left side removed. It was infected and loose and her oral surgeon agreed to do it as an emergency procedure. It was a Friday at 4:30 when we rushed there. He made her sign a million papers, and rushed to numb her up. He gave up like 4 injections and didn't wait long before he started extracting the tooth.
Well, it was the worst tooth pain in her life. I heard her screams from the waiting room. It was bad. I think everyone in the office was rushing to go home and he didn't wait until her tooth area was full numb.
Anyhow 1 month later the left side of her throat(side of tooth removal) feels a bit in pain and tugging. I was wondering could he gave damaged a nerve? Has anyone been through this? The doctor won't answer anything over the phone and says she got to make an appointment to come in.
ohh. as an added bonus of him being amazing... he said he won't give her the X-rays he did. They are for his office? He has the latest fancy machine I think, but I dont get it! I think by HIPPA they have to give the patients their X-rays they paid for

My back tooth is grinding against this wisdom tooth and it just HURTS, it feels like an internal grinding or something.
I just want to yank this tooth out man it hurts and it feels so uncomfortable.

I recently had my left bottom wisdom tooth extracted and, after five days, developed severe pain diagnosed as dry socket. My dentist reopened the site, applied new dressing, and restitched it. Unfortunately, the pain persists, and I'd appreciate any insights or advice you might offer on the following:

1. How long typically does it take for dry socket pain to subside after being redressed?
2. Besides the prescribed pain medications, are there additional methods to alleviate the pain?
3. I'm unsure what caused the initial clot displacement. How can I avoid disturbing the clot with my tongue or by sucking motions?
4. In case the clot is disturbed again, are there more effective dressing techniques I should discuss with my dentist?

Hi guys, so basically i had this white stain in my mouth for about a month and half, almost two actually. Befor it was painful and i couldn’t eat or even open my mouth, after a week and half the pain got away but the white thing stayed unti now basically. Went to two different dentists, the first one said tha it was a canker sore healing (but to my knowledge they max heal after 3 weeks, and it was a month it was still there), the second one said she didn’t see anything. Now i am evaluating visiting a third one but i am really nervous about it. it’s not painful or anything but it just won’t go away. I am really going ot out mind 😭
