Hey all! Got a ethical modding question for you all
Me and my mate have been playing AC for years. We will sometimes find a car mod we like that’s got a good model but the data for it will be incorrect.
For example the wheel base and/or track is the wrong size, suspension is too stiff, engine has the wrong power output it, super tyres, more aero than an F1 car. Actually most common is just using the data from the little open wheeler from the base game.
So we modify these cars made by other people for our own use.
Sometimes we try and make the car a “real” as we can. We mainly play with road cars. So for those we get information online and watch reviews andvideos and try and make the move the same. I find a lot of these mods the car handle far to well. Some roads cars we have driven are faster than GT3 cars through the corners. We will also try and match performance targets.
We try and make each car have a character based on its personality. For example we have one car that has awful lift off oversteer. But if you can control it then it’s really fast and rewarding. Flaws can make something interesting and most real world cars have these flaws.
We also mod for fun. For example we made a drifting Volvo 850R.
In addition we also have made a race series were we found a variety of different cars and tried to balance them. Similar to in goodwood how you have mini vs mustangs.
So my question to you all is how would you feel about us publishing the data files? To respect the original author of the mod we would link to their source website to get the model. Even if the model is free. But make our data available to put on it.
It would also be cool to get people opinion on them.
If you are a modder how do you feel about us changing the physics on your car and publishing the data file.
As a quick additional and disclaimer. We don’t claim to make these cars 100% perfect and realistic. We just try and make them “feel” real and most of what we do is based on our enjoyment. We do this for fun. If we have changed a cars physics we arn’t criticising the creator. That could be how they felt the car would behave. We just had a different opinion based on our experience.

So basically im getting BSOD nonstop on my Ryzen 3600 and i've read online that a lot of people after upgrading their BIOS started having them too so i thought to downgrade. I do remember before when i was updating the BIOS there was "Introducing capsule BIOS support" with a message saying to NOT TO DOWNGRADE under that version after updating to it but for some reason its not saying that nowadays(they removed it). On other motherboards its still saying not to downgrade so im confused if i can or cannot downgrade?
I've emailed Gigabytes support and they said its fine to go from F63a to F50 but i still wanna ask if others who tried to do the same (downgrade to BIOS under BIOS capsule support) did or didn't brick their board.
Also the board that im using is the Aorus Pro B450.

• BTC positioning shows traders sell calls. Skew points downward. Can see some pressure for this OPEX as a result, but should push up after that. Hence why price is lower in premarket.

• Calls on 28 adn 29 are the main options.

• 178k people got laid off in the last month, less than the 215k expected.
• More than the 156k last month.
• So labour market is continuing to weaken.
• Unemployment rate rose to 4.3% in line with expectations. Highest reading in over a year.
• Average earnings still came hot though, at 5.7% growth YOY vs 5.3% forecasted. Last month was 5.7% YOY.
• Average earnings growth has come down a lot though in the last year and is now near yearly lows of growth.

• Highest economic sentiment reading in over a year.

MARKETS:

• Markets are flat, waiting for PPI.
• SPX trading flat around the levels it was at yesterday, ahead of PPI. Market waiting for PPI

• DJI flat at 39.5k
• GEr40: Trading flat at the highs, trading at 18,700.
• HKG trading lower by 0.8%. Tested close to 19k and held.
• OIL trading flat the last week or so around 77-79.

I just wanted some insight sa nangyari sakin, me (m20) and my ex is (f21). This Happened like a months ago when my ex suddenly message me out of the blue na she wanted to invited me sa family celebration nila. Take note before this happened break na kami for almost 1 year, add mo pa na we dont have any connections in any socmed kaya magugulat ka na nag message sya suddenly. Going back sa invitation ang pinaka intention nya raw sa pag invite sakin is nung tinanong sya ng father nya kung may naiisip syang iinvite at ako daw una nyang naisip, inadd nya pa na dati nya pa daw ako gusto ipakilala sa family nya but we didn't have a chance during our relationship and I get it naman, and the last thing she mention is for the closure na rin daw and i get it too because during those 1 year post break up namin we have some confusing interaction with each other.
Pumunta ako sakanila medyo distance lugar nila and need ko pa bumyahe, wala naman problem sakin dahil gala ako plus sasagotin nya naman daw transpo ko pabalik if ever so why not. Then nung nakarating na ko after almost 3 hours na byahe sakanila, Pagkadating ko don sa nirent nilang place, maya maya pagkaupo ko sa sofa mother nya agad bumungad sakin, sabi ng ex ko gusto daw ako kausapin ng mother nya and this is my first time meeting her mother, napaisip ako sa sarili ko parang we are not in the right set up for this, pero kinausap ko pa din and we did get along, we talked about our views, interest, and different things and I think her mother liked me. Fast Forward sa family party nila after the dinner, when I was alone sa pool tinawag ako ng ex ko para umakyat upstairs, she introduced me sa ate nya which I know her naman and we have few interaction sa socmed and nagbibiro kung namimiss ko which I didn't answer. Then later sabi nya sakin matutulog na daw sya and samahan ko daw sya upstairs sa room and sinamahan ko sya and nung asa hagdan na kami habang paakyat kami hinahawakan nya kamay ko and binitawan nya lang nung asa pinto na. After nito bumaba na ko, humiga ako sa sofa malayo sa living room and the stair kung asaan mga friends nila and it was a little bit dark and medyo isolated ako from the rest, makalipas mga 10 min kita ko ex ko bumaba and akala ko pupunta syang restroom or sa friends nila since magkakalapit lang, and nagulat ako sakin sya pumunta and biglang humiga sakin na shock ako and may tama na kaya hinayaan ko nalang, we stayed like that for a long time during those time nagiging aggressive sya like she kissed my neck a lot and smelled me, humihigpit pa nga yakap nya. Tas after non pinaayos ko na sya kase nakapatong sya sakin pinaupo ko na and nung nakaupo na kami bigla nya ko hinila pahiga sa dibdib nya tas bumangon ako, tinignan ko yung face nya nakangiti sya honestly asa border na ko ng temptation like lahat ng action nya anyone would do something to her pero napigilan ko Sarili ko, naisip ko kase yung usapan namin before the inuman na wala nga sya plan kaya napigilan ko pa. • Meme stock rally this morning continues.
• US small business index ahead of expectations, but much below the historically average level. Cost pressures remain the main issue as many small businesses still raise wages to retain workers.Inflation still the main issue for small businesses in US, but less so than before.
• Yesterday’s trading saw the lowest volume day since Thanksgiving 2023. This is as traders await the key economic news coming out this week.
• Yesterday saw inflation expectations rise for next year to 3.3%, highest since November 2023.
• From the data this morning then, we can see that the macro trends are:
• UK labour market continues to weaken
• Euro economic sentiment improves
• Bank of America sees slower growth but still positive spending in the US. People are getting user to higher rate environment.
• US administration increases tariffs on $18B of Chinese imports. Including semiconductors, batteries, solars, EVs etc. Trying to bolster domestic manufacturing.
• Yesterday, Yellen said that China is not really playing by the rules on trade, said it is unacceptable to be dependent on China in key industries.
• B of A fund manager survey shows fund managers are most bullish since 2021. Not seeing signs of big pullback here. Cash allocation decreasing as fund managers INCREASE exposure to the market too. Lowest cash level since 2021.
• BOE’s Pill says that Rate cut is likely to come under consideration in Summer, after employment data. Gilts are up in UK as a result. V explicit mention of rate cuts to come.
• Said we can cut rates and still have restrictive policy.
• OPEC sees demand for doc crude in 2024 at 43.2M BPD in 2024, and says they will now only forecast demand for doc crude
• OPEC said that despite some downside risks, there is further upside potential for global economic growth in 2024.

I bought a used xbox x at gamestop specifically to play BG3 with couch co-op. Once we got the console up and running, purchased, and downloaded the game it will not work. When I select the game it opens and shows the larian logo and the opening picture of the companion characters. The loading wheel in the bottom right loads to 100% and then freezes and kicks me back to the xbox home screen. I have read as many threads with similar problems and tried all of those solutions to no avail. Anyone else have this problem and find a solution? Im thinking it seems like a possible hardware issue with the used console after ruling out every other solution. List of tried solutions below:
-restarting console -hard restarting console -clearing cache -uninstalling and reinstalling game -updating console -we do not have a larian account as we have not even gotten to the main screen of the game -on xbox.com we deleted our old xbox from our account -someone on a thread had luck with playing with dv display settings and we tried this -some commented to try loading the game in offline mode but the game says we need to be online to play

ANALYSIS:

• FX analysis:
• We see looking at EURUSD that skew is v elevated as IV is elevated on calls vs puts.
• EURUSD is stuck under 1.08 but traders are looking for a break towards 1.09. Note that traders seem to be pricing in softer inflation data. If PPI comes hot and CPI too tomorrow, we can see strong downward move in EURUSD as traders are seemingly complacent from positioning on soft inflation data
• BTC:
• BTC positioning shows traders sell calls. Skew points downward. Can see some pressure for this OPEX as a result, but should push up after that. Hence why price is lower in premarket.

• Range bound as traders waiting for US economic data this week. But skew is still pointing higher. Buyer momentum is higher, so it is positioned for a move higher but I suppose traders hold their breath waiting for the data.
• Silver:
• Looks like can continue higher. Skew is higher, IV change is rising.
• Calls on 28 adn 29 are the main options.

• USDJPY - gamma wall at 157C. Can get stopped there, before move higher after. Positioning on JPY v bearish.

DATA LEDE:

• Japan PPI:
• YOY came 0.9% vs 0.9% forecast, last month was revised to 0.9% YOY too.
• So is gradually increasing since November.
• German Final inflation revision showed no change to preliminary reading. Confirmed the prelim reading. inflation of 2.2% vs 2.2% last time.
• UK EMPLOYMENT DATA
• 178k people got laid off in the last month, less than the 215k expected.
• More than the 156k last month.
• So labour market is continuing to weaken.
• Unemployment rate rose to 4.3% in line with expectations. Highest reading in over a year.
• Average earnings still came hot though, at 5.7% growth YOY vs 5.3% forecasted. Last month was 5.7% YOY.
• Average earnings growth has come down a lot though in the last year and is now near yearly lows of growth.
• So UK labour market data showed weakening of labour market.
• EURO ZEW Economic Sentiment index:
• Came 47 vs 46.1 expected.
• Highest economic sentiment reading in over a year.
• Economic sentiment in Eurozone continues to improve.
• German economic sentiment index came 47.1 vs 46 expected. Highest in a year.
• US PPI Data
• Fed’s Powell is due to speak at 10am, unlikely to say anything in particular.

MARKETS:

• Markets are flat, waiting for PPI.
• SPX trading flat around the levels it was at yesterday, ahead of PPI. Market waiting for PPI
• Nasdaq: 18,200. Trading flat around these levels.
• DJI flat at 39.5k
• GEr40: Trading flat at the highs, trading at 18,700.
• HKG trading lower by 0.8%. Tested close to 19k and held.
• OIL trading flat the last week or so around 77-79.
• GOLD: trading flat at 2,344.

FX:

• GBP down due to weak employment data, which points to firstly, rate cuts being on the horizon, and weakness in UK economy.
• Also down because BOE’s Pill says that Rate cut is likely to come under consideration in Summer, after employment data. Gilts are up in UK as a result. V explicit mention of rate cuts to come.
• Recovered somewhat with EURO which headed higher after ZEW Economic survey
• Yen continues weakness after failed intervention

My pawns have recreation levels on zero. I alreay have a schedule with lots of time for recreation and have some stuff for them to play with (horseshoes, shallow water, chess). The game is still very early (jugust of the first year) so they cant be tired of the same stuff.
Why they cant stop working and go play with something to improve their recreation level? Even if they are in the schedule time for recreation, they will not do anything and just keep working! I dont get it! They even have a recreation starvation buff.

Played a charity scramble yesterday. Before the round, they were also running some raffles and a 50/50. I used most of my available cash on those thinking I had my emergency cash in my car for a caddie tip.

I would've told the caddie to hang out 15-20 minutes after the round so I could run to the convenience store a few minutes away if needed.

Hello, so I've been following Jesus by faith lately and I'm gonna say that I'm still liking this game called Delta Force: Team Sabre, not because it's a ranked game nor an online game, it's a pretty chill offline shooter game that of course includes murdering terrorists who have no soul. It's a really old game and it doesn't really affect my walk with Jesus too much.
I'd like to play one mission of that game after or before reading the bible or do some other stuff but am I allowed to play it? The only problem it has is murder and no swearwords nor blasphemous words.

I bought a used xbox x at gamestop specifically to play BG3 with couch co-op. Once we got the console up and running, purchased, and downloaded the game it will not work. When I select the game it opens and shows the larian logo and the opening picture of the companion characters. The loading wheel in the bottom right loads to 100% and then freezes and kicks me back to the xbox home screen. I have read as many threads with similar problems and tried all of those solutions to no avail. Anyone else have this problem and find a solution? Im thinking it seems like a possible hardware issue with the used console after ruling out every other solution. List of tried solutions below:

[So when Solar and Lunar were first made, they were performance animatronics that performed at the Lights Out Theatre. And they weren't named Solar and Lunar back then, but rather Sun and Moon. Classified as a light-sensitive animatronic, in the presence of light, Sun would be in control and when it was dark, Moon came out.
When they were moved to Daycare, they were both reprogrammed to be made more Daycare Attendant-like. Sun ended up in charge of playtime, and Moon placed in charge of naptime. The children adored being around Sun, they got to play whatever games they liked and had loads of fun. The children, being children, didn't like naptime, because that's boring! They wanted to play, not sleep. So Moon often had to scramble around, putting the kids back to bed. The children loved Sun, but didn't bother much with Moon.
And then Moon felt... Neglected, in a way. Sun got most of the attention because Sun was cheery and bright, but Moon apparently ruining the children's fun by trying to get them to sleep. Weren't the two meant to work together? Moon felt like they just weren't good enough. And they were jealous. They wanted to be appreciated, but they were often just cast to the side because they were only the Moon. And the Moon can't shine brightly like the Sun, because the Moon only reflects light from the Sun.
And then, Moon started to malfunction. It's not clear why it happened, but Moon started to act out more. They were almost... Forceful, in getting the kids to sleep. Some children were so terrified to the point that they didn't dare to sleep without the lights on. Which of course, made the situation worse.
And Sun was worried about Moon. Moon and been rather... Distant, lately, not talking to Sun much in their shared headspace. Moon just seemed... Off, too. Sun hoped their "twin" was okay.
.......... Moon hurt a child. They hadn't meant to, but they did. They really hadn't meant to, they promised. But the damage was done. Fazbear Entertainment attempted to remove Moon entirely from Sun, but failed. Moon remained. So the company decided that they would just have generators in the Daycare, so that the lights could always be turned back on. Keeping Sun in control, and Moon restricted. Sun developed a paranoia with Moon, enforcing one, single rule. Keep the lights on.
Sun and Moon.... argued. Before Moon truly began to change, the two had argued. That's why Sun didn't immediately suspect something was wrong, they'd assumed that Moon was just... Mad at them, for some reason.
Sun had said a lot of things to Moon. Things that they weren't shouldn't have said. They didn't mean it. They'd never mean to say something so hurtful to their counterpart. But they did.
"You're just.... You're just a parasite, Moon!"
Sun remembers Moon's hurt expression. Sun remembers frantically trying to apologise, nothing. Why had they said that? They hadn't meant to say something so hurtful, they hadn't meant it.Sun remembers it all. Moon's expression, full of shock and.... Hurt. Before it was replaced by a facade of indifference. But Sun knew they'd gone too far. They hadn't meant to. They shouldn't have said that.
And.... The whole fiasco happened with Moon's malfunctioning.
After way too many lawsuits, Fazbear Entertainment finally decided to deal with fixing the Daycare Attendant. You'd think they'd try to fix them before that, but Fazbear Entertainment is just another greedy corporation :/
The Daycare Attendant was brought in, and after extensive reprogramming, the new versions of Sun and Moon were made. And we know these versions. Solar and Lunar.
Despite being reprogrammed, Solar and Lunar were still Sun and Moon deep down. Lunar remembers what they did as Moon. And Solar remembers what they said to Lunar as Sun.]
