Issue: After pasting an image into the editor, I am sometimes unable to double-click it to activate the scaling process. If I edit the HTML and add a "width="xxx" " parameter, it scales fine but I still cannot double -click it to make it scale again. Sometimes if I had added 2 images, one might work and the other might not. Images are usually less than 1000x1000 and clipart, as I am trying to find images that won't take up too much memory/storage.
Note: I believe this a a Native ANKI feature and not Add-on Related.
Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open the card editor 2) Cut an image from a Chrome image page (searched for item in Chrome, went to images, filtered them, and did Copy Image) 3) Paste it in a field in the editor (I have a dedicated "Picture" field) 4) Click it Once to get the "(double click to expand)" message with the dotted lines surrounding the image 5) When I double click and this works, I get 4 corner marks on the dotted line, a message of the size overlayed on the image Ex( 350x125), and I can drag a corner and scale the image. I call this "entering Scale-mode". When it does not, I can click all day and get no response. 6) When complete and it works, I can view a "width="xxx" " parameter added to the underlying HTML.
Tests: 1) When it doesn't work, a) I tried to save/close the card ,edit ,and reopen it - does not work b) I tried to manually add the width parameter, close, open - does not go to "scale mode:" (but it is rescaled) 2) Tried removing the "alt="xxxxxxx" " - does not affect the not-working 3) Tried closing and re-opening ANKI - does not work 4) Tried DB and Media checks, Close/Re-Open ANKI - does not work.
Request: Any help in resolving this is appreciated. This is not "life threatening", so if there is no answer, that is fine. If you also feel it is a bug, point me to where I should report it.

So I was seeing this guy for about 5 months. We got along great and I felt so comfortable around him. However the last month he was saying he was busy with work, family commitments and couldn't meet up. He also cancelled a quick meet up last minute as a family member arrived so he was spending the day with them. (I will say he did always send me pics when he had other commitments. Not sure if that was to prove to me he wasnt just flaking on me or something) We still kept texting most days and conversation never fell flat but again after this weekend of saying he couldn't meet up as he was spending time with his brother and he won't see him for a month I was so annoyed as it had been 5 weeks since I'd seen him. I understand family comes first but it hurt that he couldnt even give me an hour out of a few of his weekend the past 5 weeks pissed me off. I texted him and called it off saying ..
"Heya looks ive been thinking and it's obvious this has fizzled out so lets just call it. I really enjoyed the time I spent together so thank you for that. take care and have a good weekend"
He replied and the said "i guess they have a bit,things have been insane lately and wont be easing up anytime soon unfortunately and managing over text isnt sustainable either. I enjoyed it too and it was great to get to know you. Take care"
I don't know if it's just the initial healing stage but apart of me feels like a made a mistake not expressing my feelings about his lack of effort and should have done that rather than ending it.
Some of my friends have said no its obvious he was slowly fading away, while others think I should have communicated how i was feeling. Now I don't know if I should text him and ask to talk and see if we can make it work or should i just deal with the pain.
He be around my area in 3 weeks so I don't know if that's an opportunity for us to have some space and maybe then have a talk. So I really need advice as I just feel lost at the moment and I need some unbiased opnions.

At the start of this venture, I've little choice but to use AI. It's not my personal stance, but to bring to life the imagery and things in my mind, I lack the years of ability to make the visions in my mind come to life.
That said, I want to get away from AI as quickly as possible. I am hoping to find an artist or two that I can collaborate with and bring content and bring what they are worth to the table. This may come as I develop more of a Patreon or following.

The dream I had yesterday I dream I was in this beautiful lace sheer flowy dress. My hair was straight mild wavy and it had little butterflies clips in it and I had these clear heels on with one big cross strap with butterflies on it. I had my make up done. I was at this event with family and friends and I happen to this guy who came over and asked to chat with me for a bit he reached up for my hand and I grabbed it as I got up from my seat. He took me to this corner and asked me when did I get here. I said I been here for two days so far he then asked how long will I be stay I responded for a week 5 more days. He said wow looked down and then looked up at me and said it’s nice to see you you look beautiful I brushed his arm and said it’s nice to see you too and you look lovely yourself. I then said I think we should get back to our groups before the event start. we returned to our seats the event went on for an hour and then he returns with this flyer explaining to my group about this flyer I grab him by his arm and pulled him to come with me and we went to this bench I grabbed him by his chin and ask what is he doing? He looked at me I said why are doing this? He looked at me and said I miss you I responded but this can’t work my home is not here. I’m only here to visit and then I’m going back home. I walked away went to my group and said I’ll be outside. He came after me outside and grabbed my arm turned me around grabbed my face and kissed me. I said what are you doing? He said I let you go the first time but I’m not letting you go this time. He then said I haven’t stop thinking about you and thought I’ll never see you again. I’ve always struggled with loving myself, I’m always afraid of becoming a narcissist.
Whenever I try to think about positive traits about myself I always end of feeling like a pompous prick. Even with small stuff like that I’m kind, empathetic and that I have talents. People around me say that I have those qualities and tell me what a great person I am but I struggle to believe they actually mean it.
I think part of it is something my father pounded into me when I was little. “If you have to tell people you are, talented, kind or good looking you aren’t, others will tell you if you are”. Which has led me to solely seek validation from others.
This stuff is really killing my confidence and making me miserable. People tell me to see a therapist but when I go, I end up getting a bunch of new age crap about how wonderful I am just they way I am and I know that’s not true.
I’m also highly aware of my shortcomings and failures and since I don’t have any positives to contrast them with. What can I do to feel better about myself while still being self aware, how do you manage this?

I’m very young so please bare with me. I’m 12 F and in 7th grade I started school two weeks late so I had no idea how anything worked. Luckily for me in my gym period I saw my friend M and she introduced me to K, J and B one day I saw K talking to Logan(the jerk in question) I became friends with him too and viewed him as an older brother we also had band together so I saw him often. People have tried to ship us but I always dismissed them. By this point 6 months have past and we’ve grown closer but in between those months he’s said and done weird things like one day I was walking home with him and I had like a v neck shirt on and he’s taller than me so he kept looking down my shirt and asked if “they were real” I was grossed out and he kept trying to make me go into the woods with him but I always declined because I’m smart enough to know not too. That day I had 50 missed calls from my friend I didn’t notice it until I looked at my phone when I picked up I remembered I forgot to tell them that I was walking with him all of my friends had told me to be careful around him. The next day I was talking to my friend jojo and all of a suddenly I felt him smack my butt I was very mad and he had a stupid grin across his face I wanted to slap him but stoped myself because it was probably a joke but after the he thought it was ok to do keep touching me even after I said stop I didn’t report him because I still considered him as my friend I’m very aware that was dumb. One day he texted me saying “I heard you like you me “ I was confused because I didn’t he asked if I wanted to date him so I thought if he like me I could like him too again very dumb of me. We dated for two weeks before he broke up with me he said his parents didn’t allow it but I know he’s dated a lot of girls so I knew he was lying. At this point I switched to home school people were getting worried about why I wasn’t coming to school so they blamed it on him and that was the first time he texted me after the break up he said he still liked me and that he wanted to get back together I said maybe in the future. So I said when I’m in 9th and he’s in 10th so we made a deal. A week after that he face timed me and he asked to see my face I said no because I had a face mask on and was taking my hair down. He kept asking about something I don’t like sharing to most people I’ve always been very vague about to he fact that I was SA’d when I was younger he keeps bringing it up. I told him to stop bringing it up and to drop it because it was making me uncomfortable and then he got mad about the fact that I won’t turn on my camera and said “I don’t believe you” and I said “about what” he said about what happed to me when I was younger I was very shocked about why he would say that and he said I can’t see your face so I don’t believe you I was so mad that I hung up on him and started avoiding him he’s currently blocked but I’ve been thinking and I feel kind of bad for avoiding him even though I know im not wrong. Let's continue studying Ikeda Sensei's lecture on "Key Passages from The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings," Part 9. We will start the section "Unlocking the Life State of Buddhahood Through Unwavering Faith."
Sensei begins by mentioning the history of persecution in Buddhism. During his lifetime, Shakyamuni experienced a series of obstacles known as "the nine great ordeals." Nichiren Daishonin experienced the Tatsunokuchi Persecution, the Sado Exile, and numerous other persecutions.
But the point is they triumphed over them all. Through them they demonstrated how ordinary people could attain Buddhahood. With these examples Buddhism became relevant to people struggling in real life. There's no pretense at living inside a world of holiness or perfection.
Sensei here explains Buddhism 101:

Encountering persecution and obstacles is an inseparable part of being a votary, or true practitioner, of the Lotus Sutra. As Nichiren writes, “Without tribulation there would be no votary of the Lotus Sutra” (“A Ship to Cross the Sea of Suffering,” WND-1, p. 33). When the votary spreads the Mystic Law for the sake of people’s happiness, great difficulties invariably arise. But those very difficulties serve to prove the votary’s correctness.

Ladies, Buddhism is about fixing things. We are all Chief Engineers in our own personal starships. We have absolutely no pretensions about living in a world of perfection or holiness. Blanche will certainly never qualify as a chief engineer because she can't imagine the need to get your hands dirty, value your mission, and just fix things when they need to be fixed.

I pirate everything: games, movies, software, and even made my own plex server. But lately I have gotten really into Hockey and haven't found a great way to watch Ice Hockey 2024 for free live.

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question. I'm definitely new to the sport and this will be the first IIHF I get to watch (yay!)

I (F25) am/was engaged with my fiance (F27). Early tonight I went to a soccer match by myself for the first time. For all of this to make sense, I have to begin saying I'm a neurodivergent woman (Autism, ADHD and a dash of social anxiety).
Going to such a crowded place by myself is a huge milestone for me, and I was texting my partner about how nervous I felt and that I hoped I garnered enough bravery to talk to someone and hopefully become friends. I don't have any friends besides my fiance as all of them have left the country, so it's been hard to get to know new people.
I finally decided to start talking to the guy next to me about the game, and it turns out he leaves on the same bus as me. (Our team has buses with different routes for fans to get home safely). So we kept on talking and then it was time to leave.
We went outside together to find our bus and kept on talking. He said something odd about "Hey, you came here by yourself.... Aren't you afraid I might be someone crazy who could kidnap you?".
But because of my neurodivergence, I'm used to saying something awkward or weird so I just shrugged it off and told him "No, it's illegal to kidnap fans from the same team."
And that was it, as we located our bus.
I finally take out my phone to tell my partner I found the bus, only to realize my girlfriend had been hearing the conversation as she had called me and my pocket I guess accepted the call. She told me that she wished me luck knowing I wasn't scared to leave with someone who could kidnap me and every message I sent after that was left on read.
I came home to her breaking up with me because I broke the trust when I prioritize my conversation with this guy over letting her know the match had ended and I was looking for my bus. And because I was being flirted with and I didn't stop the situation, in fact, I was flirting back! The thing is I didn't realize he was flirting and of course I wasn't fucking flirting back. That wasn't my intention at all!
I tried to explain and everything turned worse. She started screaming which sent me into a panic attack that she deemed "manipulative" and then she locked herself in a room which made me snap again.
It's 3 am and I can't sleep thinking about the fact that my relationship is just vanishing because assumptions she is making over an (I understand) easily to misinterpret situation. But I didn't do anything and I didn't intend to do anything. I wish she wasn't hurting and thinking I have eyes for anyone but her. I've always been caring and honest and faithful. I feel like I'm being punished for not picking up social cues that simply fly over me as much as a try to grasp them.
It's so hard to navigate the world with the way my mind works and I feel so defeated that just being who I am ends up getting me in trouble when the only thing I've ever tried to do is making my partner feel like the most special and loved woman in the world.
Is this solvable? Can I do something? I'm lost and alone with my thoughts right now. It hurts to lose everything because of this!
TL;DR: Gf broke up our engagement because of a wildly misinterpreted phone call. I can't seem to make her believe me and every explanation seems to make her worse.

I am a 25 year young man living in Australia. I am at a crossroads about which way to turn at my fork in the road. Here is my briefing..
I would like to consider myself (and strive to live up to being) a happy, loving, joyful, driven individual. I was raised in a big, loving family, in a smaller town with a strong “village” feel. I was taught to be kind, work hard and give back to my community and humanity.
Since graduating High-School, I’ve completed a Business degree at University. In that time I’ve also endeavoured to plant seeds of wisdom in every other domain of my life. I’ve earned a Black Belt in Taekwondo, volunteered with Headspace and Rotary, improved my financial literacy by reading widely and learning to invest, attended self-development retreats, and made friends and mentors from all ages and listened to their experiences + wisdom.
What I am absolutely, head-over-heels, most wholeheartedly passionate about, is learning about how to help couples have healthier relationships. I love learning about the barriers that couples face to healthy relationships and how to overcome them. I love learning about communication and conflict resolution strategies. And I love learning about how both individuals in a relationship can improve themselves holistically for the betterment of their relationship.
Since I was a young boy, I’ve always dreamed of travelling the USA. Have you ever been drawn to a place, an interest or an idea with nothing other than your intuition leading you? That’s me and the USA. (Although there is more than just my intuition leading me - There is also the opportunities, the places I want to see, etc.)
Given who I want to become professionally and where I want to be, I feel that the best direction for me is to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy in the USA. The idea of this exhilarates me, but, equally, terrifies me.
I’ve always lived at home, and my parents have said that I am welcome for as long as I may like, rent-free. I have also always lived in my home town. This is where all of my people and community are.
I desperately want to be the “rockstar” of my own life by following the direction that I feel called to, but I fear that I will be throwing away the good life that I have in my current place.
What is your advice to a young chap?

Recently diagnosed and medicated early this year.
I was put on Ritalin first but then tried Dexamphetamine which initially worked better.
Without building tolerance, I noticed my Dexamphetamine stopped working and I would just get the negative side effects. It would work once every 12 days or something.
I had the suspicion that a food intolerance was what was causing the issue (gluten, dairy, etc) so I tried the sublingual route and noticed a world of difference straight away. I tried it again to make sure it wasn’t random and it worked the 2nd time too.
The next step is to see my (GP) doctor and explain this to him and then begin eliminating certain foods one at a time to find the little sheet causing this issue. My guess is that it’s gluten or dairy. What else could it be? What other things can affect stimulant/drug absorption?
Anyways, I hope this helped someone out there.
Edit : I’ve always kown there was something wrong either my drug absorbtion because many years ago, I had taken enough Oxy to get 10 giants high and 2 giants dead and I didn’t feel anything. (It was from a pharmacy). I did this many times on different occasion all to the same result.

TDLR: My mom, older sister, and younger sister have been fighting for over a month and I want to know if it’s a good idea to try and mediate as a neutral party.
My family has always had a pretty rough dynamic. No one gets along well and there’s constant drama. I moved an hour away a few years ago to get away from it all because it was getting to be bad for my mental health and I needed to get far enough away to be able to clear my head from it all. But it seems that since I left things have come to a head between my little sister and the rest of my family, especially my mom (51F) and older sister (30F)
My little sister has always been… difficult… She tends to lie a lot, gets involved in a lot of drama, and just over all doesn’t really think before she acts. She has lied at her school about my mom physically abusing her to get CPS called on her, tried to ruin my parents relationship because of how much she dislikes my mom, and has done several other things purely to hurt people.
My mom is bipolar, she says a lot of cruel things when she’s manic, and she goes through a lot of manic episodes, she tends to guilt trip to get her way, she’s also a helicopter parent so we had little freedom and were under a lot of control. I wasn’t really allowed to show anything considered a negative emotion as I was the boy of the family, while my sisters got a way with a lot because apparently it’s a lot harder being a girl, which I think is where a lot of this drama between them comes from because none of us know how to healthily regulate our emotions.
My older sister is also bipolar, she has done a lot of things to cause this deep resentment in our family. She outed me to my family, then went to my little sister crying to make it about herself because of her fear of me “not going to heaven” which traumatized my younger sister. She laughed when I said I was getting beaten by my ex. She also treated both me and my little sister horribly when we were younger and wanted to act like a parent and completely control us. She also likes to involve herself in to things that are none of her business.
I’m not going to go over my dad here, because he’s really tried to stay out of like I have because he also knows how all three of them get and just doesn’t want to deal with it anymore.
Now that you have an idea of what the family dynamic is like, I can get down to what’s been going on.
It all started back a couple of years ago when my younger sister met her now fiancé. My mom didn’t like him from the start. My mom said he reminded her a lot of her first husband who was controlling and abusive. I’m not going to share my opinion on her fiancé because I don’t really know him like that. They were constantly fighting over him and it just kept getting worse until my sister decided she couldn’t stay in the house with them and bought a camper to set up in the backyard of parents house to “get away.”
As of February of this year it seemed like it was getting a lot better and that tiny amount of space was doing wonders for them. That is until back in April when my little sister announced she was getting married in a court house and that she didn’t really want anyone else there except herself and her fiancé. My mom wasn’t happy about it and they started getting into it. I’m not sure exactly what was said, but from my understanding my mom was manic again and started saying some extremely cruel things, to which my little sister responded by saying more extremely cruel things. My little sister packed up everything and took her camper and moved away to a plot of land she was gonna build a house on.
I thought after a few days they would cool off and talk it out like they normally would, but my older sister involved herself and was sending some mean messages to my little sister which only made things worse. Now they’ve been going back and forth for over a month of just constant arguing and treating each other horribly, my older sister keeps trying to love me in all of it, and my younger sister has blocked everyone except my dad, and possibly me. I’m not entirely sure if I’ve been blocked because as I said I’ve been staying out of it.
That’s all I know about what’s going on. Do you guys think it would be a good or bad idea to finally get involved and try to mediate the situation? I’m a completely neutral party in this and they all refuse to try going to therapy as I’ve mentioned several times to them. I don’t want anyone getting mad at me for not taking sides, but at this point I feel like it’s the only thing that might remedy all of this anger, which is negatively effecting my own mental health.
