DCGO launched their open beta.
For those who have wanted to play the TCG and wanted an online client, have no fear. The open beta for the DCGO is here, made by HoangZeroDigi.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uP5wCtVu0T46Udm9UyKGFB9jfOhgS0PR_UCNeGzcKGQ/edit
After you've downloaded and extracted it, it should look like this.
Inside the Game folder is the exe used to run the game. The textures is important for the card images.
There should also be an Image Extractor. (It downloads the card images)
IMPORTANT. Set the save location to be the \"Card\" folder inside the textures folder.
It may take a while to download the card images (Took me around 1-2 hours. Download Speed is irrelevant.)
It's still relatively early in open beta so there may be some bugs. You can report them to HoangZeroDigi in his discord. https://discord.com/invite/dtcg

2024.05.14 21:30 No-Departure-6349 New to cats/Advice

Hello Cat Loving Friends;
I’ve decided it’s time for me to get my first cat! I’ve lived with cats before but never outright had my own and I want to do it right. I have a well trained service dog and I did extensive research and training with him, I want to emulate that level of care and dedication with my cat but I need help.
I’d like to have a litter box(s) (automatic) and everything else already in my home before I bring home a cat at all, can you help me create a list of needs and give advice on breeds?
I live with 2 young SPED kiddos who are incredibly kind to animals but are young and I know the cat will need to be chill but we’d also love for the cat to cuddle with the kids. (I was thinking Ragdoll, however I was informed they have medical issues and can be very fragile…) (Note: I am not against adopting or rescuing but I want to be smart about it; if I lived alone I’d adopt an older one from the humane society, but I have to keep the younger kiddos in mind)
Due to needing proper socialization I’ve been told to seek a younger cat, 6months to 2yrs. I know I want to have everything purchased in advance, could y’all help me come up with a good breed, age? And also help me with a list of needs /items /things to keep on hand? I want to turn this into a long term goal and quest for the kiddos as well, to help them learn about patience, caring for animals, spending and saving money etc. Any ideas to help with that are also appreciated.
Thank you so much!!!

2024.05.14 21:30 doritos_pikachu Is it better to turn off/ increase temp for AC when not home?

My question has 2 layers:
I work 9-5. I keep the temp at 78 normally. I read it’s less expensive if you keep it at a standard temp the entire summer. 1. Should I leave it at 78 even when not home? Or should I raise to 80 or 85 to “save” and then bring back down to 78 when I’m home?
  1. I go out of town on the weekends to visit friends/fanily. When I’m out of town, shoudl I be turning my AC off completely? Or should I be increasing to like 85/90?
I don’t like bugs and my friend told me I should keep it on when I’m out of town, like around 85-90.
What’s best for energy savings?

In 2023 I was playing Sonic on my cell phone and I thought about looking for a Sonic HD to play, I looked on YouTube and found something called “sonic 2 hd” it was for a computer, so I downloaded it on my computer, And I really liked it, so I went looking for a Sonic 2 hd port for Android, I found a video but the game was poorly made, I downloaded it anyway I didn't like it much, but then I went looking for another Sonic 2 hd For Android, and then I found a video of A person opening a page on the game jolt of a Sonic 2 HD and at the end of the video the person opens the game but doesn't play it, it just shows the menu, so obviously I went to the video description to download the game, But it was saying “page not found" so I went looking for an apk of the game but I didn't find anything, I looked a lot but I couldn't find it, this game will probably never be found

[Incoming Broadcast] Helldivers mission critical information inside.

Image taken from: https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/helldivers-2-nightingale-live-service-problems/
It's time to start ignoring Major Orders until Super Earth stops using it's Helldivers as fodder for testing it's experimental weaponry. To many times has Super Earth lead us to believe they were supplying us with the latest and greatest tech in our on going campaigns against these mechanized murder machines and those traitorous oil reserves only for them to severely under perform.
We've traded money; honor; and lives, lost to obtain samples; for under performing Stratagems and Weaponry, and ship upgrades that use super glue and packing peanuts.
We are given cheaply produced, bottom of the barrel, and sometimes damn near weird science experimental technologies. The millions of incidentals that have happened are because of Super Earth cutting corners. Sometimes Super Earth actually gives us proper gear only to realize they could cut costs even more.
It's time for Helldivers to stand together and say no to Super Earth MOs. To show them that Helldiver camaraderie is greater than those ungrateful backline pencil pushers. It's time we say no more. We don't want your experimental garbage. We want the top shelf tech you refuse to send us. We want quality to help turn the tide and spread Democracy.

Outside fan not spinning (even with screwdriver trick), and indoor vents blowing room temperature air.
Hello all! I’m hoping for some advice on my current AC issue. Our unit is very old (2007), but when we bought our home in 2021 the inspector said it was in pretty good shape for being that old. For background, we have an outdoor unit and another part of the unit in the attic. Our teeny tiny attic with the only access being the roof hatch.
We experienced our first hiccup with the unit about 2 weeks ago. The fan stopped spinning and the vent was blowing room temp air. Temperature outside was between 77-83 degrees for those few days before we could get someone out so the house reached 78. The tech reset the fan, said he couldn’t find any apparent problems but then said “you’re going to need a new unit” without even looking at the attic part because “I’m not contracted to do that”. Very confused why he’d say that if he did not find any problems but OK. But resetting the fan seemed to do the trick because we had cool air again. 2 weeks go by and everything seems to be fine. Last night however, I noticed the house was hot and was sitting at 74 while I had it set to 70. Room temperature air again, and fan not spinning. Clearly there is still an issue.
My husband did the screwdriver trick which did not get the fan moving. We have the unit off to prevent further damage and we have a tech coming tomorrow but I’m so worried about the cost for repair or if we truly need a new unit. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be so I can prepare myself? We are first time homeowners and our savings account for home repairs hasn’t had time to really grow yet so I’m hoping this sounds like a minor issue. Any and all advice is appreciated.
I attached photos of the unit in case anyone has experience or familiarity with the brand.

2024.05.14 21:29 SincerelyPhoenix [PC] [Early 2000s] Blocky Zombie Survival Shooter Flash Game

It was a web flash game where you would survive growing waves of zombies. It was playable with 2 players. One would play on one side of the keyboard and the other on the numpad side. Gameplay was a top-down style, 4-direction shooter in large arena-like maps and red explosive barrels, with various weapons you can pick-up around the map. You would start with a pistol. The character and zombie designs were very blocky, almost early Roblox like, with a 2.5D cel-shaded look. There would be 100s of zombies on the screen at high rounds and the only goal was to survive high rounds.

Questions about resources and quests
Hi, for starters, I promise I'm not a complete newb. I played this game a lot as a kid (my account is 13 years old!) and have returned now to kill sometime this rainy summer break before my next year of college.
That being said, it feels like so much has changed, and so many things are either broken or just unintuitive.
My questions:
  1. Where do I find Electric Ore?
  2. Where do I find Diamonds?
  3. Is there some trick for that bug-smacking minigame?
  4. How in the world do I progress in this quest?! I click on the NPCs to try to talk to them, and nothing happens. I've collected all the chests. I have no clue what to do next.

2024.05.14 21:27 Mythbuster04 So about rerolling...

First of all i am a degen reroller. I can reroll in a game for days and quit in a week. That said ; i didnt participate in WW CBT's but after CBT2 there was a developer message which was adressing some issues. One of them was 'Skip feature'. CBT 2 players told that it will take 35-40 minutes to reroll on standard with 20-22 pulls , 60-70 minutes to do a multi on rate up banner. But if they are gonna implement a skip button for story then reroll process should be smoother? Can anyone from CBT2 tell how much of mapping and fighting to do before finishing tutorial? Also i think a fast reroll strategy with best possible outsome should be:
  1. Using Astrite from pre reg plus tutorial/ boxes to make 2 single summons on rate up banner. Its a very very long shot but if you ever hit a 5 star from those singles that is your goto account. Doesnt matter if you lose or win 50/50.
  2. After singles on rate up banner do two multies on standart banner ( Not on beginner ) Some people mentioned about weapon banner but i dont think weapon banner is ever worth it.
3.If results are not good then check currency convert segment if you can buy 1 or 2 Rate up convene. If so buy them and try ur luck in rate up again.
I would like to hear your ideas as well. Thanks!

2024.05.14 21:26 i-am-billu First Rant: afraid to join high level players

Have been playing for 120 hrs in PS5 and reached 68 level. Two times this week, I have been kicked out from hosts higher than 100 level. (Matchmaking puts me sometimes in higher levels)
  1. I was trying to clear a heavy bug nest with my Explode pistol without any stims, so did a lot of running around with no one near by. I cleared around 8/10 and still could have cleared the last 2 holes. the host pinged that I was just roaming around not doing any objectives, I unmute my mic and said I am clearing the bug holes, but got kicked out by host.
  2. Eliminate Termids mission: small map - friendly damage tend to happen when using Eagles/Orbitals. I think my 113 level host was too soft to take one friendly damage, they wanted to show it by kicking me just after extraction. (Did not get XP for the time spent). We extracted with 8 mins and 13 reinforcements remaining. VERY UNDEMOCRATIC MOVE. Hope we can report this to our nearest democratic officer.
Chill down hosts. Take time to communicate. The game is beautiful don't ruin it for others.
I think for a while I will selectively gonna play only with friends or help/coop with low-level players.

The first is not understanding the patch history of dota 2 and not understanding why for so many years undying was such a good support... It's not about moral support, or about standing in the lane with your carry and lining up as a "support". The purpose of the support is to win the lane for the carry so that they can farm. Not to pull, not to harass, not to make items, and not to provide healing. All of these things can help but if you aren't winning the lane from them then it's not the right thing to do. Undying is strong as a support because he gets in there and dominates the lane and that is what supports are supposed to be doing every single game.
And as a side note, please learn how to play properly in the trees on the side of the lane, the second you see the support leaving the trees and just walking around inside the lane you already know that this guy is clueless on how to play. Like you need to be using that vision game to win the first couple of trades against the enemy support and then turn the temperature up on the carrry. Okay sure they out traded you and now you cant go close to them, but that is what being a good player is all about, you don't just drop your duty when it gets hard, send courrier, abuse vision around trees be tricky with it and play dota. Don't be this guy that just loses the trade and waits 2 levels while their tangos bring them back up to full, it's okay for you to die, it's not okay for you to be useless.
Second issue is getting ahead of the game, you win your lane and then go bottom and roam go mid and roam and suddenly you are the bees knees, fast forward 25 minutes you have blink scepter on CM snowballed like crazy you die 1-2 times being silly but its okay because you won the early, but now enemy PA is level 18 and she is taking her revenge. So the second thing is not to forget that your items matter untill the end of the game, even if slark is 0-7 at 20 minutes you still need a force staff, even if PA is 0-10 you will still need save against her. And even if your carry got 5 kills in 5 minutes with you in the lane, it's still your responsibility to keep the pressure on the enemies and not just turn into a gold slutting pseudo midlaner who plays loose with their gold lead and stops playing their role.

2024.05.14 21:26 TheLowCarbCo Low Carb Crackers

Hi everyone, I'm Jack!
I call myself a chronic health survivor. I also call myself a health nut. I have been managing chronic autoimmune illnesses my whole life with Type 1 Diabetes at age 2, hypothyroidism at 15 and Addison’s disease at 20. I have juggled my health 24/7 with medications, diet and exercise. It’s not what I do, it’s who I am.
Only as an adult have I really understood how important my food choices are to boost my metabolism, bolster my immune system, and how I get through each day without adding stress to my body and mind. I started making seed crackers at home during COVID from the Oh She Glows cookbook and they changed the game for me. I am super excited to share that I have come up with a totally different taste and texture in the cracker that is truly unique, we’re called The Low Carb Co. I hope you will love them as much as I do!
Over and above my product I’m really here to share with others to try and find even better health. It took me a long time, but once I finally found my solution it changed the game for me. I would love to hear from you to see what you’re going through and to see if we can help each other!
Send me a message or post in the chat and let’s talk.

2024.05.14 21:26 Tg11T Expanding Major League Baseball From 30 Teams To 32 Teams...which 2 cities would get Teams and realignment...how I would do it:

Expanding from 30 to 32 and the 2 cities to make up the 31st and 32nd team in MLB for me would be:
Team name for Portland I would go with: Portland Pioneers
Team name for Charlotte I would go with: Charlotte Coyotes
Realignment I would go with: American League
National League Realignment
Playoff format I would go with:
AL
NL
8th seeds in AL and NL would be determined by Wild Card
But playoff format would be: Wild Card Round would be Best of 5 (if you win 3 games...you win the series and move on to ALDS) then from there it is Best of 7 from ALDS, ALCS and World Series

2024.05.14 21:26 bonk1211 Is it worth getting into 2024?

Hey guys I just wanted to know if destiny 2 is worth getting back into ? Me and my friends used to love destiny 1 and put so many hours into the game ! But destiny 2 hasn’t really been the same since it first launched .
Last raid we did was probably the cabal one and that was it. We tried getting back into it multiple times but always backed out cause the dlcs were always too much .
Anyways are the new raids good how’s pvp how’s everything again cause I do like destiny and would love to get back into and is it worth it ?

2024.05.14 21:25 robtherunner69 Serious, serious progress with Diatomaceous Earth and Vitamin C

Copying this from a comment I just made elsewhere:
I've always had diarrhea but since really attacking this thing it has turned to constipation. Creatine and megadose plain ascorbic acid (vit c) has really helped me with that. People will hate on ascorbic acid but I actually LIKE that it gets me moving.
What by far has helped the most is diatomaceous earth. 1-3 heaping tablespoons, 2-3 times a day. Holy cow, I can think again and the gas is way way down and I'm regularly having strange stuff come out of me. Idk why it isn't talked about more. It's also an excellent source of silica and other trace minerals.
Guafenisen (the drug in Mucinex) is also pretty gangster at breaking up all the mucous those things create.
All four of these things are absurdly cheap which is promising too.
Look up Vitamin C tolerance test to let you know where you are from an antioxidant standpoint and how much you need to be taking.
I take DE right away when I wake up. Both seem to really blunt my ravenous hunger in general, and my sugar cravings are gone. I saw on Dr. Bergs video about it that taking it with some acid will help make the silica bioavailable, so I'll add some Vit C when I take it (he recommended ACV, but betaine would work too). Then I can wait a little longer to eat, and I've started eating a lot more fibrous foods because it doesn't gas me out. Then I take it again between meals. Then dinner at a reasonable time. Then again a bunch before bed, and I feel fuller and can fall aslep. Its been a week and I'm the most alert I've been in over a year, and I pooped out some hard sticky mucousy intestiny looking stuff this morning. It felt awesome. Basically I think we all have candida and our intestines are a long tube of slime. So once you help your body digest the food, it's harder for it to move solid matter through a tube of slime. DE seems to erode the slime; silica and Vit C boost collagen production to repair gut lining; and creatine, Vit C, and guafenisen give it an extra push if it's sluggish. Sometimes a good old fashioned cigarette helps too :)
Hope this helps. If you try it, please let me know how it goes.
I've got some turpentine in the mail so I'm gonna amp up the game tomorrow or the next day.
