I've tried this while connected to wifi and while on mobile data, both when plugged into my Mac and when not but I get the same result each time.

So i'm trying to convert the unused construction.mdl from Half-Life to the Source engine. I'm using Crowbar 0.74.
I did search for solutions, but the ones i did find said to re-export the SMD with blender. (bogus bone index)
This is where another problem appeared: trying to import construction_reference.smd to blender with the plugin outputs an error saying "expected 3 values, got 2".
I tried opening the SMD in notepad and looking up the "bogus bone index", of which i found multiple entries.
This is my first attempt at compiling a model, so i probably screwed up at one point or another.

2024.05.13 20:20 Cooper5k New PC Build Hard Crashing w/ Hyper-Threading

I just bought a brand new pre-built pc from Newegg. (Link Below) The moment I started it up, it crashed and forced restarted. This is my first time buying a pre-built and probably won't ever do it again considering this headache. I've went into the Bios menu and went trial and error mode on everything. And eventually led myself to "Hyper-Threading: Auto". When left "On/Auto", the moment I run a benchmark on "Intel Extreme Utility" app, my pc hard crashes and reboots. I thought it would have been the power supply unit not being powerful enough, so I got ahold of the manufacturer, and he sent me a new 850W, Gold power supply unit. I installed it, and ran again and it repeated itself. I turned "Hyper-Threading" off and the benchmark ran completely fine, scoring a 5800 on average. I'm starting to believe the root of the issue is a faulty CPU from reading other threads and posts similar to the same issue I'm dealing with. However, considering this is a pre-built, I don't wanna have to have the manufacturer send a new CPU on top of PSU and send old parts back to him. However I will 1,000% do it if it means I will receive some sort of increase to my pc performance. If not, my second concern would be, if my CPU works with it disabled, would hyper-threading give me an edge in Counter-Strike when peaking? Should I even try the headache of reaching back out and getting a new CPU and going through this whole process? Will I eventually down the road, run into hiccups with the CPU, being that it's already showing signs of defectiveness with Hyper-Threading? Anything helps! Thanks.

Hey, I'm getting some randoms disconnections on my earbuds on bluetooth in fedora 40. Trying to troubleshoot I get the following error in systemcl status bluetooth:

Hi there! So right now I'm trying to have two Java instances of Minecraft PaperMC load the same mounted map. I've successfully mounted the map, and both instances can read/write to the files, but I've come across issues that I've failed to overcome.
The issue I've encountered is that the "session.lock" file can't be opened by two instances (error in console: "session.lock: already locked (possibly by another Minecraft instance?)"). My workaround for that was to just not mount that file, so each server has its own. I can now boot both servers and join them, but after some time (server restart, etc.), the servers will mark some of the chunks as corrupted and regenerate them. This is bad because it creates holes all over the map as it regenerates the chunks with void (error in console: Data for local chunk (16,14) could not be recovered in regionfile r.-1.1.mca, it will be regenerated).
I've also tried to make the map files read-only (won't boot with that) and turned off autosave with the "save-off" command. The map is supposed to be read-only anyways, so if there is somehow a plugin or setting that disables all of these chunk checks and whatnot, it would essentially solve my issues, I believe.
So any ideas? I'd really appreciate the help.

One last ask at solving new app launch on iPhone 14
Hi all
Ive tried everything possible to get the new app to work on my iPhone 14 max but I’m still stuck. I am requested to provide local network access every time despite allowing the app to acccess Bluetooth and my wireless system. I’m out of ideas now.
  1. Updated my Sonos speaker system and Port on the new app via windows app.
  2. Hard reset my iPhone.
  3. Reset my router.
  4. Signed in and out of the new app.
  5. Deleted and reinstalled the new app multiple times.
I can’t connect my products to the Ethernet of my router due to the locations of my products.
What’s annoying now is that forcing the update via the windows app to my speakers has removed core functionality in the previous app version (kept this on my iPad) such as add new product.
Has anyone found a solve for this on iPhone 14 via Sonos support or trial and error as I am out of ideas.

I’ve applied in person for passports for our family, all went well except I received a call back regarding a court order regarding my minor daughter (14 years old). I submitted a court order signed by a judge, this is most recent and only order that both parents follow perfectly. The order has “amended” on it due to a typo in spelling when it was issued in 2012. Passport Canada wants the one with the typo, which is archived at a court house in paper form in our capitol city and hopefully it actually still exists. 😬 Once again both parents follow the current court order, old court order only had a typo spelling error. Both parents are in agreement with passport and trip. Also father is not on her birth certificate.
Please someone help this make sense to me. I’m concerned that the request for the previous order with a typo is going to cause us issues with receiving her passport.
