Images here
THIS CAMERA IS BEING SOLD AS-IS/FOR PARTS
Used, non-funtional Fujifilm X-T4 body. This camera worked well up until recently, it will power on but will not display anything in stills/video mode - if it does it will display the high temperature warning. All other functions do not work when powered on.
There is no known liquid damage to the camera and it has never been dropped. Shutter count unknown as I have no access to the menus to verify. Cosmetically this camera is nearly spotless and the sensor is clean.
It will boot into the firmware update mode and I have updated it to the latest firmware as of listing this, but that did not help fix it. Selling in hopes that someone has the know-how to fix it themselves or can use the parts to fix other cameras. Feel free to check my post history for a previously completed sale on this sub.
Includes:
Fujifilm X-T4 body (black)
Original battery
Original box/documentation
Original branded strap/strap lugs

2024.05.14 08:36 BladeRyo New Xbox controller update dilemma?

Just bought my first Xbox controller model 1914 for PC gaming.
Worked fine yesterday, today sometimes it connects in 1 sec, sometimes in 10 sec. Read about firmware updates, that some broke BT connectivity and some swear it fixed everything. My firmware is 5.9.2709.0. Should i update? And if its worse then before, can i downgrade?
Ideas?

2024.05.14 08:27 ariel_safar HP Smart Tank Printer Not Printing Black

I’ve got an HP Smart Tank 790 printer that's giving me a lot of trouble. It refuses to print anything in black. Here’s the frustrating part: I’ve replaced the black printhead three times after talking with HP support. Each time, it worked for a few days and then it happened again. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any additional troubleshooting steps I can try?

2024.05.14 08:07 No-Aardvark7823 Keychron Q2 knob rotation not working

So I wanted to check if there were any firmware updates that would enhance or introduce new features for my Q2 knob ANSI keyboard. However, the upgrade attempt caused the knob feature to disappear. Did try flashing and upgrading firmware but no luck.
Is there a way to resolve this issue? I am very annoyed with how this happened and would love your feedback on how to fix it, perhaps go back to how it was.
The knob was programmed (I believe as stock) for volume up and down and mute. I would love to get these options back. Forget about fancy zooming in and out using the knob.
Thanks everyone.

2024.05.14 07:51 PyroFox004 cant update firmware

I just got a mars 4 max printer (my first printer) and I cant get it to print anything. The original problem was i got a "inconsistent slicing and projection resolution" error when I tried to print anything. Tried multiple solutions none of which worked, then i found out that the firmware could be the issue so i tried to update that. Now i cant get the firmware to update as when i try and "print" the update it says "no files found".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2024.05.14 07:48 Teknogamer5 s20+ vs. s23+

I currently have an s9 that has seen better days. I'm buying a new galaxy refurbed (not too much budget for this), and one random thing I really want is 512gb storage.
I've found an s20+ for about $400 and an s23+ for $600 (both 512 gb). An extra $200 for 3 more generations sounded good, but when comparing the specs, the s23 doesn't really add much. Camera seems to be the big deal, but, unlike most, that's not such a big deal to me (I mainly care about system, speed, battery, ease of use etc). Truth is the s20 looks nice because in addition to 512gb it also has an sd card slot. My only hesitancy is because it's 3 years old and past updates.
Any thoughts?

2024.05.14 07:39 AnyEmploy887 Ayaneo Slide keyboard not working

After installing the new slide keyboard firmware update the keyboard doesn’t work. I did a factory reset with the volume + and rc buttons. Got it all setup Again. Nothing. Keyboard doesn’t work. It appears the escape key is acting like the down arrow so I don’t think it’s a hardware issue. How can I roll back the firmware or fix this ?

2024.05.14 07:36 sludj5 Help Needed: Huntsman V3 Keyboard Typing Double Characters Issue

I purchased a Huntsman V3 keyboard, and unfortunately, I'm encountering a frustrating issue right out of the box. Whenever I press any key, it registers double characters. This problem persists across all keys, not just a select few. I've already updated the firmware to the latest version through Synapse 3, but the issue remains. I've seen various solutions on YouTube, including pouring 99% alcohol, blowing air through the keycaps, and even installing an older, supposedly more stable firmware.
Before I attempt any DIY fixes, I wanted to reach out to the community for advice. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the Huntsman V3 keyboard? If so, how did you resolve it? I'm open to any suggestions or troubleshooting steps to fix this issue. Unfortunately, returning the keyboard isn't an option for me, as I purchased it three months ago and am only now getting around to setting it up due to building my gaming PC.
Thanks in advance for your help!

2024.05.14 07:32 GCUArmchairTraveller Couple of thoughts about 433Mhz/868Mhz devices

I had/have several ThermoPro 433Mhz and 868Mhz temp sensors. I got RTL-SDR dongle, installed rtl_433 add-on and after a year got couple of conclusions and observations.
Observation 1: 433Mhz temp sensor devices live really long on couple AAA batteries - like >6 months. They have good range and frequent updates, like every second or two.
Observation 2: 868Mhz devices are difficult to work with - updates are much less frequent, like once every 5-10 minutes. Also range is problem - the sensor was about 40 ft away from the dongle/antenna and HA was no picking up signal. 433Mhz sensor sitting right next to 868Mhz sensor had no problem communicating with HA.
Observation 3: biggest pain point is that devices change ID every single time when batteries are changed or you press reset button. Also had to switch between rtl_443 and rtl_433_next because certain protocols were not supported with rtl_433
Observation 4: rtl_433_auto_discovery somehow helps but it has long way to go to properly decode even simple devices.
Conclusion/action: I am ripping off all 433/868Mhz infra and will replace them with zigbee devices that can be bought for less than $4 on Aliexpress (vs $10-$15 for 433/868Mhz sensors). They don't have problems with the ID rotation, offer better options (like firmware updates for certain sensors).
However, your case might be different. I just wrote what was my case.

I was thrilled to get my OLED monitor. I originally wanted the ASUS, and luckily, I managed to get it on Newegg. However, I'm having trouble updating the firmware. 2024.05.14 07:07 Lord_PanDA_ 10 Fixes For Roku HDMI No Signal

10 Fixes For Roku HDMI No Signal
If you've ever been stumped by the dreaded "no signal" message on your Roku TV, I've been there too.
After digging through countless tech forums and doing a lot of testing myself, I've compiled the top 10 fixes that have worked for others to get you back to your favorite shows without the hassle.
If you’re looking for a step-by-step guide complete with demo images for each solution, just check out the hyperlink under the solution's name.
Here’s a quick rundown:
  1. Soft Reset Your Roku - Sometimes, the simplest fix is just to give your Roku a quick reset. Disconnect it, wait about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. This can often clear up those annoying signal issues.
  2. Check the HDMI Connection - Make sure your HDMI cable is securely connected. Sometimes just unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable can kick-start the signal back to life.
  3. Check the Power Source & Cord - Are you powering your Roku from a USB port on your TV? Try switching to a wall outlet instead. It’s a small change, but it can make a big difference.
  4. Lower the Resolution - If your Roku is having trouble with the signal, try lowering the resolution. Sometimes this can help avoid mismatches that cause signal issues.
  5. Wake Your Roku Up - If your Roku has been idle, it might just need a wake-up call. Try pressing any button on your remote to see if that brings it back to life.
  6. Remove Any Intermediary Devices - Devices like HDMI adapters or receivers can interfere with your signal. Try connecting your Roku directly to your TV to see if that clears up the issue.
  7. Ensure Your Roku Is Not Overheating - Electronics don’t like to get too hot. If your Roku feels warm, let it cool down and see if that helps the signal come back.
  8. Update the Roku Firmware - Outdated software can cause all sorts of problems, so make sure your Roku's firmware is up to date.
  9. Factory Reset Your Roku - As a last resort, a factory reset can sometimes be the magic fix. Just remember, this will wipe your settings, so you’ll need to set everything up again.
  10. Contact the Roku Support Team - If all else fails, it’s time to call in the experts. Reach out to Roku’s support team for help.
Each fix has been proven to work by many users, so you’re likely just a few steps away from solving your "roku no signal" headache.
Here's the full article for you to get into the details if you need more help, and happy streaming!

For many working professionals, the dream of serving the nation as a civil servant often intersects with the demands of their current jobs. Balancing work commitments with IAS preparation can be a daunting task, but with the right strategies, it's entirely achievable.
Challenges Faced by Working Professionals: Working professionals aspiring for the IAS face unique challenges that set their journey apart from full-time aspirants. Juggling between office hours, meetings, and deadlines leaves limited time and energy for rigorous preparation. Moreover, maintaining focus and motivation amidst the daily grind can be challenging.
Strategies for Balancing Work and IAS Preparation:
  1. Effective Time Management: Utilize every available minute judiciously. Allocate specific time slots for IAS preparation daily and stick to them religiously. Even dedicating an hour in the morning before work or in the evening after work can yield significant progress over time.
  2. Set Realistic Goals: Understand your limitations and set achievable goals. Break down the vast syllabus into smaller, manageable tasks, and prioritize them based on importance and your strengths and weaknesses.
  3. Create a Structured Study Plan: Develop a well-organized study plan tailored to your schedule. Divide your study material into chunks and assign them to different days or weeks. Having a clear roadmap will help you stay on track and make the most of your study sessions.
  4. Utilize Technology and Online Resources: Leverage technology to your advantage. There are numerous online platforms, apps, and resources available for IAS preparation, offering study materials, mock tests, and interactive sessions. Make use of these tools to supplement your preparation and stay updated with current affairs.
  5. Stay Consistent and Persistent: Consistency is key to success. Even on days when you feel overwhelmed or demotivated, make an effort to stick to your study routine. Remember that progress is gradual, and every small step counts towards your ultimate goal.
  6. Maintain Work-Life Balance: While it's important to dedicate time to your IAS preparation, don't neglect other aspects of your life. Ensure you allocate time for relaxation, hobbies, and spending quality moments with family and friends. A well-balanced life will help you stay refreshed and focused.
  7. Seek Support and Guidance: Don't hesitate to seek support from family, friends, or mentors who understand your aspirations and can provide encouragement and guidance along the way. Joining a supportive study group or enrolling in a coaching institute can also provide valuable resources and motivation.
Balancing work commitments with IAS preparation is undoubtedly a challenging endeavor, but it's not insurmountable. With careful planning, dedication, and perseverance, working professionals can effectively manage their time and make steady progress towards their goal of becoming an IAS officer.

2024.05.14 06:55 Vex-Core Corsair Darkstar Known Issues Still Not Fixed A Year After Release...

I apologize in advance if I come across as rude - I promise that isn't my intention whatsoever. I am just frustrated at how frequent these issues have become, and there really doesn't seem to be a fix for these problems despite them being known and reported on by others since the mouse released.
So long story short, about a month ago I bought the Darkstar Wireless Mouse, and it is hands down the best feeling mouse I've ever had, both in grip and weight. I play a bunch of different types of games and do music work, so having the different profiles and accessibility buttons on the side has been a godsend in gaming and productivity alike, but there are still some VERY serious issues that are well known for this mouse that still have yet to see any true firmware fix for. Those being the wireless connectivity, and the scroll wheel not registering scrolls every time.
Using the 2.4G Wireless Dongle, the mouse will just randomly disconnect and either take ages to reconnect, or not reconnect whatsoever and force me to go back to wired mode. One disconnect left the mouse entirely unusable until I manually switched the mouse into wired mode disconnected, gave it a minute, and reconnected it. I've kept it entirely on wired-mode since because I can't wait on the mouse to reconnect while gaming. Helps the one issue, but doesn't change the other.
For the scroll wheel, I'll be trying to scroll to cycle through guns in Destiny or through party member names for easier healing in FFXIV, and will find it not registering singular scrolls regularly - usually causing me to spend significantly more time on getting it to actually register the scroll than it ever should. When I'm doing something where I need to be precise on gameplay and physically can't because the mouse isn't registering my inputs, that's a problem. I will admit, since updating to the last firmware it has gotten "better", but it still happens regularly, and it shouldn't be a problem at all for how much I spent.
Corsair, I love ya, and like I said - this mouse fit me better than any other mouse I've used, but these are issues that have been consistent since the mouse released and still have yet to truly be fixed. I realize this mouse isn't that popular in sales, and only affects a significantly small amount of your customers, but this has been on the market for at least a year at this point and is still a problem for people who bought this recently. Please get a firmware update out that ACTUALLY fixes this. Returning the mouse and replacing it doesn't feel like an option considering these have been known issues for a while now, and I fully expect that I'd just have to deal with the same issues on the replacement.
Thanks a ton.
